Shuffle your favorite playlist and post the first five songs that come up. Then copy/paste this ask to your favorite mutuals. 💌💜
Full disclosure, I'm pretty sure my most listened to "playlist" this year was just Rise Against's "Nowhere Generation" album on repeat. And my favourite playlist is probably my fave ASP songs playlist, which is not really fun for this game xD
So I just shuffled my gym playlist and we have:
Saltatio Mortis - Der letzte Spielmann
Omnia - Alan Lee Tango
Alestorm - Set Sail and Conquer
In Extremo - Wind
Die Toten Hosen - Sascha, ein aufrechter Deutscher

reminders for new black butler fans
I am terrified that new fans are gonna come in (especially from twitter...shudders) and start screaming the same thing's we've been hearing since forever, so let me reiterate some things for you guys
we love sebaciel
most of the anime is CANON.
be weird about every character
say that you "want maurice cole to die" or "wish he had alois' trauma"
the public school arc is a glorified version of harry potter. knock it off.
for the love of GOD do give gregory the virgil sanders treatment i am begging on my hands and knees he is just shy and artistic and your little storm cloud
black butler is a very dark and triggering story. there are a lot of triggering themes within the manga (moreso the anime I have to be honest). if these themes upset you, then it may be for you.
okay now for some general reminders
if someone ships something you don't like. who cares. if you don't like it, then don't interact with it. simple as that!
this goes for people who ship minors and adults you guys are fucking awesome.
you don't have to like someone else's au. again, don't like, don't interact. it's easy
what sexuality / gender / race someone headcanons another character as is none of your business
uhh i dont remember who is sascha
you don't have to accept the fanon (or canon really lol, that's why au's exist), there is no obligation
if someone says that bb is their special interest or hyperfixation your first instinct should not be to shit on them for it
DO NOT HARASS THE ENGLISH VOICE ACTORS, PLEASE PLEASE
don't harass the play actors either now that I'm here
like and reblog art, leave comments and kudos on fanfics
be a freak for the love of god. don't harass people.
okay that's it! byeeeee

Things I wanted to know in Sofia The First
The story behind queen Lorelei's death, her love story with king Roland, the dificulties they had to go through, how everything happened, what everyone felt. How the other castle characters felt after this.
Birk Balthazar and his life with Miranda, how he was with Sofia, if she ever met him before he died. How Sofia feels about all this, how it impacted their life
A conversation between Roland and Miranda about their lost lovers. Seriously, in a natural and honest way, without that stupicidy of people feeling jealous over their partner talking about past lovers. They have something to bond over, something that only they understand.
How Winifred and Goodwyn (Cedric's parents) met eachother and fell in love. How they raised their children, in their POV's of course.
Wormwood and Cedric talking about their issue without interruptions, adrenaline, or anything bigger happening to be more exact.
Roland, Cedric and Cordelia's childhood. I'm not interested in Tilly since she doesn't really stands out to me but I think she would be there too. How they grew up in the castle, if Cedric and Cordelia had their own rooms or if their family slept inside the tower.
Cedric's first love. Just because. And he got heartbroken too unfortunately. Headcanon.
Sofia being cursed by the amulet in the episode Sofia The Worst. She lied to her parents, her siblings, broke into Cedric's workshop and made spells using his wand without permission, didn't said sorry for all the bad deeds that Sofia the worst did (at least not for each one). Elena was sleeping I suppose
Sascha. I hate and love this girl. I wish we had more of her.
A CONVERSATION BETWEEN CEDRIC AND SASCHA/MISS NETTLE. REALLY? WE WERE ROBBED. THE DRAMA, THE CONFLICT, THEY AGREEMENT IN THE END. MAYBE A POTENTIAL SHIPP. WHY
More of Princesses Ivy. I feel like she didn't appeared enough and they made her personality too shallow. She needs a redemption arc, a single episode with Miss Nettle didn't made her change a lot.
Wormwood becoming a human and being one of the main villains. He would 100% be black and wear those classy outfits. People woule be out there crushing over a bird
I know that there is more to add to this list, but I can't think about it now.

If they're talking about you, let them.
If someone is constantly gossiping about you let this be a reminder that it's not a bad thing and you shouldn't feel bad about it.
There is a very thin line between this and bullying. Please differentiate these two to the best of your ability. I will speak more about this at the end of the post, please read that part!
Imagine talking and thinking about someone else more than you think about yourself. That's just funny. Now, that, of course does not mean that you" can't talk about other people". Please do! Someone achieved something great? Go congratulate them! Praise them in front of others and let this be your motivation. But putting people down? No babe, that's just sad..
Why would anyone CONSTANTLY talk about other people or even just one person? That's because they're insecure.
This is a very simple answer and something that literally everyone says, but it's true. Think about it. Why would they put people that are more successful (in any way) down? Because they can't stand the fact that they're average. They want to be like you, have what you possess but they just don't want to admit it and instead fake their confidence. This type of people is most commonly seen in the "funny" guys that only laugh at others as a joke. This is not a joke and it is not funny.
Also, can we talk about how this is literally fan behavior? Telling everyone about you, constantly checking what you're doing either on social media or in person; this is what fans do to celebrities! They think so highly of you. You're literally so high on that pedestal.
You need to realize that people who try to disrespect you are always jealous of you. Even if you don't think they have anything to be jealous of, trust me, this goes deeper than looks or achievements. These people want to be you. So own it, because they're willingly showing you how insecure they are.
Lastly, keep in mind that this is not a post about bullying. It's about jealous haters who try to make you question your self worth because they don't respect themselves! If you ever experience or see a case of bullying PLEASE report it to some sort of authority (boss, headmaster, police etc.) This post is not about tolerating bullies because they're "so poor and insecure". Bullying is violence, whether physical or verbal. I am talking about jealous haters who can't stand others being happy or successful because they hate themselves. This is not something you can fix. Of course, it's not a good thing, however as long as they're not trying to turn people against you, try to sabotage you or get violent in ANY way, there is no way to prevent or stop it. I do not stand for bullying and I actively do my best to prevent it in my environment as I'm quite influential in my community.
Stay safe,
Sascha

Okay, okay, okay, I have a request and just to be clear I entirely blame that gif of Rick laying in bed for giving me ideas 👀
So, Reader is Maggie's sibling, and has had feelings for Rick for a while, which he's completely oblivious to. They stop by Rick's house in Alexandria early one morning and find him in bed (looking like that yum) and decides to act on it. Rick's about to get up but Reader gently pushes back onto the bed and climbs on top of him, Rick is completely got off guard but is /very/ into this especially when Reader starts getting naked-
Just as things start getting heated though Maggie arrives wondering what the hell is taking them so long, cue Reader and Rick frantically scrambling to act normal and get dressed-
Provoke (18+) || Rick Grimes
Who does not get interesting ideas with that GIF 👉🏼👈🏼💗
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yawning, you lean against the railing behind you and look up at your sister, "I hate the shift in the morning."
Maggie looks from the woods to you, "Everyone knows that, Sweetie. But everyone has to go through it."
Every time you have the morning shift at the gate, you could cry. You hate getting up when it's still pitch black outside, and it's even worse when it's cold as hell, too. The only good thing is that you have today's shift with your sister, so at least it turns out to be something to lift your good mood.
Sighing, you put your head back and grumble, "Who's next after us?"
You count the clouds above your head as Maggie leans the gun against the gate, "Sasha and Michonne."
Because you can't wait to be relieved, you look to Alexandria to watch for your rescue and hesitantly ask, "So what else is on the agenda today?"
You don't even finish the question before you hear Maggie laugh, "Are you asking me now because you don't feel like doing anything at all today, or because you want to know what Rick's up to today?"
Grinning, you look over your shoulder at her, "Both?"
She rolls her eyes and brushes her hair out of her face, "That was obvious, and you don't have to do anything after your shift today."
Now she leans over the railing, "As for Rick, you probably won't get to see him today. Glenn said Rick wants to go out with Daryl, so they won't be back until nightfall."
You bite your lower lip, "But he's still here now?"
Smiling, she shakes her head in disbelief, "I can't believe that you are into him. But yes he will probably still be there, but does it make a difference? You'd never tell him you have a crush on him anyway, even though you know full well he's probably already figured it out, the way you're always ghosting around him."
Where she's right, she's right.
You take every chance to be around him, and he'd really have to have fallen on his head a lot not to notice that you adore him, but you've never dared to say anything.
Actually, it's not that tragic either, except that you keep seeing that you're not the only one interested in your leader and every time he smiles at another, your heart breaks a little.
Your eyes wander over your home and miraculously, you see Michonne and Sasha walking towards you.
Before Maggie even understands what's happening, you're already downstairs yelling, "Let's get out of here. If you want, I'll help you in the garden later, but please let's get out of here."
Slower than you'd like, she comes down to you and looks at you sternly, "I'll take that as a promise, sis."
You grab her arm and couldn't be happier as you walk past Michonne and Sascha and say in a sing song, "Have fun."
Shaking her head, Maggie withdraws her hand from you, "We can probably harvest something later."
Instead of listening to her, you stare at the house you're slowly walking toward and mutter, "I'm going to see Rick for a minute."
Rooted to the spot, Maggie stops, "What?"
You bite your lower lip and turn to her, "I want to ask him if he can bring me some chocolate."
Playfully, you grin at her, "And then I might as well adore him again."
In fact, it gnaws at you that Maggie doesn't trust you to make the first move, and as you think about it, you don't know why you shouldn't just tell Rick. You can't actually make the situation you're in now any worse, and a very small part of you hopes that it's not just one-sided.
Skeptical, she starts moving again and stops for a moment in front of Rick's house, "I'm going to stop by Glenn's for a minute, then I'll come here and we can go out in the backyard. See you in a bit."
You can tell she's anything but convinced by your idea, and she doesn't even know what you really want to do.
The longer you stare at the steps in front of you, the worse the climb seems, but you don't always want to be ridiculed by Maggie and want to take a chance for once in his life. So you take a deep breath, adjust your top, and head inside.
As you close the door behind you, you notice how quiet it is in the house and wonder if Maggie made a mistake and Rick has already left with Daryl.
Crossing your arms, you call out to Rick but get no answer and you turn to the stairs upstairs.
Again you call his name and once at the top you hear his muffled and sleepy reply, "If it's important, just come in."
At first you hesitate, but to be honest, it IS important and you push open the door to the room where you suspect Rick is.
You just glance into the room and stand rooted to the spot.
Actually, you don't even know where to look and your mouth is hanging wide open, which looks anything but attractive and there's probably some drool running right along with it, but you just can't control yourself for a moment.
You never thought that you would see him THAT WAY once in your life. Sometimes you dreamed about it, but in reality it is completely different.
Lying half naked in his bed, he turns to you with a groan so he can rest his head on one arm and mumbles in a sleepy voice, "What's up?"
You close your mouth, only to open it again immediately after and stammer, "I…Uh…"
Like an idiot, you stand in the doorway and can't manage a complete sentence.
In your head you're still working on words you might be able to say when he starts to get up and you shriek almost hysterically, "No, wait."
Totally confused by your violent reaction, he remains half-sitting up in bed and a voice in the back of your head bellows, "Now or never. Now or never."
Hesitantly, you take a step toward him and croak, "Stay right there."
You can literally see the question mark on his face and can totally relate, but with your current vocabulary, maybe actions speak louder than words.
So you stop in front of his bed, praying that your hands aren't as sweaty as they usually are in stressful situations, as you place your small hands on his bare shoulders and push him backwards onto the bed.
In fact, you were expecting more resistance, but he complies surprisingly easily and just frowns, "What is this turning out to be?"
Actually, you're not quite sure yourself what it's going to turn out to be, but you just go with your intuition and sit astride Rick's hip.
Briefly, it flits through your mind that Maggie would never believe you and might not even need to know, before you reach for your top and pull it over your head.
In your bra and pants, you sit on it and look down at Rick.
He could throw you off with ease, but doesn't and instead places his hands loosely on your hips.
"Do I need to understand what's happening right now?" his voice is rough and you close your eyes briefly before looking back into his blue ones: "You like it?"
At your question, he snorts softly, "Do I like it that a woman just sits on me like that and takes her clothes off?"
Uncertainly, you bite your lower lip, "Do you like it that it's me?"
This seems to be the moment Rick understands what this is all about and grips your hip tighter, "This is about you having a crush on me, isn't it?"
You actually figured he knew, but hearing him say it out loud makes you blush again and you look down at his chest to keep from looking him in the eye, "I guess I won't have to say it then."
His hands, now sliding to your thighs, distract you and you barely notice him murmuring, "It was hard to miss."
Your whole body is tense as he slides his hands up again, this time not holding onto your hips.
You forget to breathe.
Light as a feather, his hands rest on the clasp of your bra and he gently pushes your torso down.
You were so determined to be brave, but somewhere between the moment you sat on him and his statement that he knows you have a crush on him, that bravery has gone down the drain and now you're sitting on him more insecurely than ever, not really even knowing what you want to do or what your goal is.
The only thing you are able to do is to support yourself with your hands on his chest to avoid crashing into him.
You finally look him in the face again and are aware of how close his face is to yours as he whispers, "What do you want?"
You can feel his breath on your lips and gather the last of your functioning brain cells and breathe, "You know it."
Tighter than before, he presses you down and your heart stops as he kisses you.
A half-naked Rick kisses you, and it's not a quick smooch. It's a kiss like you've always imagined.
Your hands run over his chest and your fingers graze the scar he received from the gunshot that put him in a coma.
For a long time the kiss remains gentle and almost innocent, but without thinking you shift on his hip and get a muffled moan in response, which he clearly wanted to suppress because he mumbles "Sorry" shortly after.
Hearing that sound from him only turns you on more and you begin to slowly move back and forth on his hips, "Again." That's all you can bring yourself to say, and Rick releases his lips from yours to reach your throat, growling hoarsely, "You sure?"
Groaning, you dig your fingers into his skin, "Yes, please."
Breathing heavily, he pushes you a little lower on his body and you feel his erection pressing against you.
The man has a lot to offer and you are about to ask him to finally take off your bra, when you hear your sister calling for you.
Panicked, you tear yourself away from Rick and you can see his amusement in his eyes, "Your sister."
Hectically, you scramble off of him and hiss, "I know, Mister Obvious."
The faster you try to put your clothes back on, the longer it takes you and just as you're pulling your shirt over your head, you hear Maggie on the stairs, "You're taking forever."
You grab some shirt that's on the dresser and toss it to Rick, "Get dressed."
He looks like he can barely hold back the loud laugh, "Why? You came into the room earlier too when I was barely wearing anything."
Begging, I look at him and he hums softly, "All right."
Rather reluctantly he stands up and pulls his shirt over his head making the boxers look a little better and just in time as Maggie strides through the door, "What's taking so long?"
I hope she doesn't notice as I explain in a high pitched voice, "I was just telling Rick what to bring me."
Apparently he does want to come to my rescue, "Right, she asked for…"
Silence.
He doesn't know what to say because I never told him, so he gestures with his hands, "Well, that thing. You know."
Your mind goes completely blank and it's only when Rick looks at you for help that you call out way too loudly, "Chocolate."
His eyes light up, "Yeah right and I'll bring it to you when I find some."
You mumble quietly, "Thanks," and look at your sister, who frowns at your behavior, but doesn't dwell on it and points with her head toward the stairs, "Come on. You said you were going to help me in the garden."
I nod and want to follow her out of the bedroom, when Rick holds me back by the arm for a moment and whispers softly in my ear, "When I get back tonight, I'll climb through your window. Stay awake, please."

Book recs: great, unique and creative worldbuilding in fantasy books
A note: this is very much a subjective list. I typically do not care much for historical medieval-esque settings (though seeing as I'm a big critical role fan, obviously there are exceptions), but rather prefer settings that mix up historical and modern, fantastical and scientific, and make up entirely new things and societal structures not based on our world.
Other book rec posts:
Really cool sci-fi worldbuilding
Mermaid books
Dark sapphic romances
Vampire books
Without further ado, let’s go!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Unspoken name by A.K. Larkwood
Honestly there's so much going on in this one worldbuilding-wise that it's kind of hard to explain. Portals, flying ships, orcs, elves, creepy snake gods, cults, immortal evil mages who traumatize teens as their hobby. It's also very queer!
A Master of Djinn by P. Djèli Clark
Set in an alternate 1910's steampunk Cairo, where djinn and other creatures (among other things, creepy steampunk angels) live alongside humans. We get to follow an investigator as she races to catch a criminal using a powerful object to control djinn and stir unrest. Fantastically creative and fresh, and also features a buddy cop dynamic between two female leads as well as a sapphic romance.
Sunshine by Robin McKinley
Urban fantasy on a level of its own, where dangerous magic exists alongside humans. It keeps you guessing and much is left unexplained; if you want clear answers and explanations to everything you might be disappointed, but if you want a world that feels mysterious and dangerous and lived in you'll probably like it. It follows a baker who, after getting kidnapped by vampires, gets embroiled in a dangerous struggle.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Radiant (Towers Trilogy) by Karina Sumner-Smith
A strange mix of fantasy, sci-fi and post apocalyptic, Radiant follows a girl without magic in a world where magic is currency. Those with much of it live in magically floating towers, while everyone else scrambles to survive in the ruins of an old city left devastated from an unknown cataclysm. The setting is creepy and mysterious and leaves me itching as I want to dig for more. Also there are ghosts.
Three Parts Dead (Craft Sequence) by Max Gladstone
This is one of those books where you just kind of have to let go and go along as it throws you all over the place. I started reading it expecting an urban fantasy, but it is much more and wholly unique. It features a world where gods and magic are deeply enmeshed with society at large, and a base of much of its technology and progress. It doesn't quite feel historical, but also not modern, but rather like you took a fantastical world and let it develop naturally into its own contemporary era.
Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer duology) by Laini Taylor
One of my favorite things is when the mysteries of the world and how it works become part of the plot, with characters trying to figure out their own world. Strange the Dreamer is beautiful and complex and will hurt your heart. Personally I didn't care much for the central romance, but the wonderful characters, themes, mysteries and world make up for it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Dawnhounds by Sascha Stronach
Like Three Parts Dead, The Dawnhounds is a book where you just kind of have to let the story and the world wash over you. It skirts the line of scifi and fantasy, with a futuristic world of environmentally friendly mushroom houses and deadly fungi bio weapons next to literally god-given superpowers and near-immortality. It's really cool and unlike anything else I've ever read. Bonus: it’s also sapphic!
The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms (Inheritance Trilogy) by N.K. Jemisin
Another example of a world that feels wholly like its own organically developed thing, with societal structures developed around the magical aspects and a presence of gods and demi-gods, many of whom walk the streets and will smite you if you piss them off.
Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows series) by Kim Harrison
Okay, here we have an actual urban fantasy. While I got a bit worn out by the many, many love interests throughout the series, the worldbuilding is simply phenomenal and relies heavily on a well-developed alternate history. Basically, magical beings such as vampires, werewolves, elves, fairies, witches, etc, used to exist secretly alongside us, but when humanity delved into genetic research instead of the space race during the cold war, an engineered virus ended up wiping a good chunk of us out and the magical beings stepped in to stop us from going extinct. Now in the modern day, we co-exist but tensions remain. Our main character is a witch who, alongside her roommates (a vampire and a fairy) solve mysteries and crime and end up unveiling secrets about their world centuries in the making.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Elatsoe by Darcie Little Badger
Another urban fantasy, this one aimed at young adults and featuring indigenous mythology alongside creatures such as vampires and ghosts. We follow a young apache girl with the ability to raise ghosts as she works to solve the murder of her cousin.
Red Sister (Book of the Ancestor trilogy) by Mark Lawrence
Honestly, most of what I've read by Mark Lawrence so far could be featured on this list (special shoutout to his Broken Empire trilogy!). We follow a young girl training to become an assassin in a slowly dying world, where ice is overtaking the land and only a small band along its middle is habitable, kept alive by a mirror in the sky sharpening the dying sun's light. Question is, how long will this machine last, and what even is it? Very dark but very good.
The Fifth Season (The Broken Earth trilogy) by N.K. Jemisin
Listen, N.K. Jemisin gets to have two books on this list, okay, she is very good at what she does. In a world regularly torn apart by natural disasters, a big one finally strikes and society as we know it falls, leaving people floundering to survive in a post apocalyptic world, its secrets and past to be slowly revealed. We get to follow a mother as she races through this world to find and save her missing daughter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez
AKA the book the killed me. Two boys travel throughout their land with the body of a god as her horrible, horrible children try to hunt them down. It's hard to explain more than that, but trust me when I say the narrative voice and literary techniques are incredibly unique in how they blend past and present, reality and story, lead and bystander. Truly an experience. Bonus: gay romance!
Wild Seed by Octavia Butler
Master of slightly fucked up romance, Octavia Butler knocks it out of the park in this story featuring two immortals struggling throughout the centuries. What do you do when there is only one other person remotely like you, and you simultaneously can't stand them and can't live without them? Apparently, you turn yourself into a dolphin for a while.
Birth of the Fire Bringer by Meredith Ann Pierce
Cards on the table, it has been a great many years since I actually read this, and just as many years spent meaning to read the sequels (I have a lot of stuff on my tbr okay, don’t judge me), but I do remember it making a great impact on me back in the day. Our main character is a unicorn! Fighting wyverns and gryphons! How cool is that!
Bonus AKA I haven’t read these yet but they seem really cool
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Surviving Sky by Kritika H. Rao
From Goodreads: This Hindu philosophy-inspired debut science fantasy follows a husband and wife racing to save their living city—and their troubled marriage—high above a jungle world besieged by cataclysmic storms.
High above a jungle-planet float the last refuges of humanity—plant-made civilizations held together by tradition, technology, and arcane science. In these living cities, architects are revered above anyone else. If not for their ability to psychically manipulate the architecture, the cities would plunge into the devastating earthrage storms below.
Clean Sweep by Ilona Andrews
Urban fantasy but the vampires are aliens? Sign me the fuck up
The Gaslight Dogs by Karin Lowachee
From Goodreads: At the edge of the known world, an ancient nomadic tribe faces a new enemy-an Empire fueled by technology and war.

I'm curious abut Sascha Vykos. Do you know which novels or splat books would be good to read to learn more about them?
*cracks knuckles*
Number 1 book you need to understand Sascha's background is the Dark Ages Tzimisce clan novel by Myranda Kalis, which has them as the main character (along with their lover, Ilias cel Frumos) and explains why they're... like that. Just a goddamn amazing character study, also completely heartbreaking and singlehandedly made me change my view of them from "haha wtf what an edgelord" to "they're my baby and I'm gonna fight a methuselah for them". Set between 1232 and 1234, if I've managed to maths right.
Also by Myranda and set around a similar time (shortly after the fall of Constantinople) is the Road of Sin book (set around 1205). Sascha (then called Myca) narrates the introduction and first chapter. It does specifically focus on their history with the eponymous Road, but has a lot of interesting character details, along with their relationship with Ilias.
For modern Sascha, there are two. First is the original Clan Novel Saga (set 1999), although in this case, I'm not recommending just the Tzimisce novel, but rather the compiled editions. There's a bunch of Sascha content in the Assamite book as well, since they're quite involved with one of the characters in it, and it also includes extra, exclusive content, including my two favourite chapters - a story by Lucien Soulban (Sascha's creator), and an epilogue by Janet Trautvetter, mostly about Jan Pieterzoon but with Sascha being fairly prominent in it.
Fair warning, CNS was written in 1999 and has. Mm. Edgelordy moments. We do not talk about The Foetus Thing :|
The other, probably most important one is Beckett's Jyhad Diary, which I would recommend for literally anyone interested in VtM in general. Sascha has minor appearances and mentions in a bunch of chapters, but is extremely prominent in the chapter Dreams & Nightmares (also by Myranda Kalis/Sarro). She also wrote the chapter Azhi Dahaka, another must-read relating to Sascha.
The timing for BJD is... less clear, because at least a few of the people involved have said it's set in 2005, but also there's one chapter where an event that explicitly took place around 1999 or 2000 is said to have taken place "sixteen years ago", so. Let's just call that early 21st century.
Most of the rest of the books are chronicles, plus one city book - their origin book, Constantinople by Night (1197, IIRC?) by Lucien Soulban, Philippe Boulle, and Joshua Mosqueira-Asheim. Others, in chronological order by setting, include Bitter Crusade (two chapters, Fiendish Winter and Dying Embers, the latter covering the Fall of Constantinople in 1204), Under the Black Cross (1225), and a whole bunch of the Transylvania Chronicles (Myca/Sascha appears in book 1 in Dark Tides Cresting (1314), in book 2 in Haceldema (covers the Convention of Thorns, 1493), in book 3 in An Angel's Plea (1680, also has the most hilariously thirsty description of Sascha I've ever seen in my life), and in book 4 in The Accounting (1998).)
Seriously. Here's their Transylvania Chronicles 3 character sheet:

They appear in two of the Giovanni Chronicles books, three (1882) and four (same, in a flashback that also has my baby Anatole), in the Nightshade scenario of the Gehenna book (1999), although that's since been retconned out of existence, along with chunks of the Clan Novel Saga, mostly to do with the approaching Gehenna stuff, and in particular Anatole's fate. It's still worth reading just for some fascinating ways the world could end. Finally, they appear in the House of Lies chapter of Nights of Prophecy (1999?).
Aside from those, they also have little appearances and mentions in other books, including letters and notes throughout chapter 7 of the Revised corebook, a rather amusing little reference in chapter 4 of the Victorian Age corebook, a detailed profile and character sheet in Children of the Night although that book pisses me off because it put Beckett, Anatole, and Lucita on the front cover but didn't give us sheets for them!, and the opening letter of the V5 Sabbat book, which you can read here (and then ignore the rest of the book and get the Revised-era Guide to the Sabbat instead).
So yes! They show up a lot, and all through the game's history. The three most important ones to read, I think, are the Dark Ages Tzimisce novel, the combined Clan Novel Saga, and Beckett's Jyhad Diary, then the rest just depending on interest in the era or broader story, since Sascha is less involved in those.
Have fun! They're an absolute hot mess of a character and I adore them!

I couldn't find a post that you have answered this ask before but, how in the world did claudia didn't change her name after getting married? And how the fuck does her children have her last name, not their father? Specially considering that this was victorian era and woman literally had no rights
Oh, I have lots of posts about this, including some asks.
She likely didn't marry
You see, if she had married Cedric, she would have likely become Mrs. Ros--. I'm not sure about this part, but she might have even been stripped of her title of countess. Not what would normally happen, if she married someone untitled (which I suspect about Cedric) but because the queen would be furious. I don't think the queen would allow Cedric to rise up to Earl.
Also take into consideration that servants had to get permission from their masters to marry, and, as the queen's watchdog, Claudia was a servant of the crown, not simply a random member of the peerage. Members of Victoria's household would need to ask for permission to marry, too, like Phipps, Grey, Brown (if he were even human, which I'm sure he's not), etc.
So, she either asked to marry Cedric, and the request was denied... or she knew it would never be accepted, so she tried to keep her relationship with him a secret. There's a slight chance there was a wedding ceremony that wasn't recognized by the church. The kids would have been scandalously born out of wedlock, either way.
Defying the queen in this way, as well as other ways (probably), is likely what gets Claudia killed when Vincent is only 15. It's like the queen waits until she thinks Vincent can handle the watchdog duties before she has Claudia deleted. And, to add insult to injury/death, it happens on a Friday the 13th, to symbolically tell Claudia (and remind anyone else who knows) that this is punishment for bearing children on a Friday the 13th (for a reaper). We know Vincent was born on a Friday the 13th, and I suspect Francis was, too. They are confirmed to be full siblings, after all.
The family tree that Sascha and Ludger view doesn't have anything to do with marriages. Just biological lineage. Technically, Claudia could have married someone else and then taken his name but then had an affair with Cedric. It's just that I don't think so, since her own father seems to be a Phantomhive. Due to her station and the Phantomhive legacy, Claudia might have been barred from marrying anyone (and taking their name). It's even possible that Victoria wanted the Phantomhives to die out, and Claudia kept that from happening. And, if there's an heir who can fill the role of watchdog, ah well. Guess we get another generation of watchdog.
I've also said before that I think Vincent and Francis/Frances were named in defiance of the queen. Vincent is a French name brought by the Normans, and it means "conqueror". Francis/Frances was also brought by the French, and it means "French-born" or "free". I'm reminded of how, in Ivanhoe, Cedric of Rotherwood was called a "Franklin" by the Normans, because he was a free man and landowner. In fact, he owned several slaves, including a swine herd and -- even more notably -- a jester (named Wamba). I'm also reminded that the "treasured" "Courage Badge" in Mother3 turns out to be the legendary "Franklin Badge" from earlier games in the series....
Anyway, I theorize that Vincent and Francis/Frances were named in defiance of the queen, perhaps looking forward to a time when the Phantomhives would be free from her control (and from her descendants).

ok but i'm possessed by the conviction that sascha absolutely knew something was Up with isi's gender WAY before they even considered their discomfort through that lens and he just very correctly never brought it up. like sascha volunteers in a queer youth group that is very vocal about trans stuff and he's always listened to isi very carefully he has to have known

do u have a favorite piece of vtm lore?
the thing with vtm lore (honestly wod lore) is i am finding it to be a gift that just keeps on giving. i'm always learning something.
i have an extreme bias for banu haqim and particularly like to learn about dur-an-ki because my pc is heaven's silliest ashipu. the dunsirn (hecata bloodline) literally have money abilities. (including an ability where they can fucking give or take away resource dots from other hecata once in a chronicle) the fact that kemintiri gave mithras a mental breakdown that made him check into a mortal insane asylum. caiaphas smith is such a scary hunter that justicars decided that the best way to handle him would be to force kindred to avoid him in hopes he can't access vitae anymore and will die of old age. sascha vykos' brand of pettiness (sealing a mortal's face shut and then embracing them for example)

Pspspsps snippet, non spoiler, pspspsps join the discord server, Alia and Sascha snippet pspspsps (if u were wondering what Sascha meant that he has something else to do during ur wedding)
Her eyes flicker down towards the ceremony, the heir that she had spend time with, being wed with one of the most dangerous person from Riag. Their bond hopefully bringing both kingdoms into a new age of peace and trusting.
"A favor?" She asks back, not looking up.
Sascha leans against the railing, eyes fixed upon the pair down as well. "Do you trust me?" He answers.
She looks over, looking for something in his expression. "I trust all my friends." She doesn't look away when he turns to look at her. He doubts her. She knows, but she is not backing down.
"I need you now to find someone for me." He continues.
"And you think they're here?" She looks across the open room, maybe a few hundred people, nobles and peasants eagerly watching the ceremony.
"She wouldn't miss something like this, i know her."
Alia perks up and looks back to Sascha, "do I need to be worried?"
"No."
She nods, "What am I looking for?"
Sascha sighs, "I'm not entirely sure, just if someone seems off."
She looks across the room, Aso jumps over the railing, but she doesn't flinch as it starts sniffing everyone. She watches it closely, it looks up everytime another person seems not suspicious. It eventually sits down, bowing it's head once.
Alia sighs, "We can't seem to find anyone."
Saschas brow furrows and he grabs his hair to tug it lightly, "Maybe someone using magic? She might be hiding."
Alia turns again to the crowd. She closes her eyes and folds her hands into her usual praying position. She concentrates on her body, trying to find the ground underneath her feet, the wind in her hair, the warmth between her clasped hands. Her body doesn't move as she takes a step backwards, her body fading out.
As she opens her eyes, her body is in the praying position as before, Sascha is watching her body.
She steps around her own body, jumps over the railing and lands gently on the ground underneath. As she walks, she looks at everyone that she can, nobles and soldiers, peasants and workers, hard faces and soft edges. But none _feel_ out of place. She looks over to Aso, who has now started following her footsteps, sniffing the ground, trying to differentiate between all the different magic and spells that have recently entered and left the room. She takes a few steps towards the heir, away from the crowd, to get out of all this magic and feeling. She looks around and her gaze meets with another person. Not much taller than herself. The gaze is intense, Alia moves around, but the person doesn't break the eye contact.
Aso growling next to her, ready to jump, Alia places her hand against it's neck, "Don't."
The person moves their hand and points at themselves.
I
Then towards their eye.
See
Then towards Alia.
You.
Alia stumbles backwards. People shifting uncomfortably as she passes through them, eventually she meets the ground, she stares.
And so does the other person.
Her gaze snaps to Aso as it jumps. "Don't." Alia croaks out, and Aso fades in front of the person and reappears next to Alia. She looks towards the person, then towards Sascha, the person's gaze following Alias.
She crawls, stumbles, back up and her feet move towards the person.
The person's voice is quiet, not drawing attention. "During the next full moon, you will find me again." They say, before moving away.
"Wait, where will we find you?"
But there is no answer.
Alia exchanges a gaze with Aso, before turning back to look at Sascha, who is nervously watching the ceremony.
