Rules: post a smooch between your OCs for Friday. It can be as light as a peck or intense as a makeout. It can be romantic or platonic or familial. As long as a smooch takes place it’s free reign!
there was a moment when i sleepily saw this tag of 'do i even have any kiss scenes written?' but upon waking up a bit more, i realized i do have a good little handful.
(and we're going to pretend it's friday and that i didn't wake up thinking it was wednesday instead of monday.)
after much conflicted consideration, because the only kiss scenes i have are either between kesh and miles or shielda and sabine, here's the snippet from

What are the implications of rewriting history classes to adhere to right-wing mythologies?
Re-writing history to fit a new mythology is where Marx went wront and what Hitler and Trumpers have in common.
COMMENTARY:
It’s a typical Fascist waste of time based on the same Libertarian logic that inspired Thomas Jefferson to waste his time going through the Bible cutting out the references to God and//or Jesus.
Ayn Rand’s Virtue of Selfishness is the classic case study in Jefferson Davis’s State’s Rights theory of property, labor and the means of production. It’s the logic of the Lost Cause and the January 6 rebellion. The Jesus Seminar or organized by the same conceits. If you cut Jesus out of the Gospels, the ethic of Jesus conveys, partially, through the theology of Paul. Think about all the time that being anti-woke reprsents. Being woke is learning from history and not wasting time re-writing it. Everything about the January 6 rebellion is like Gym Jordan: a gigantic waste of time.
Now, as an exercise in critical thinking, taking a class in re=writing history as creative writing would be intellectually enriching, as long as you don’t base your social engineering on the new version instead of the gestalt of the old and the new.

boy oh boy! i haven't thought about sabine in a minute; this'll be fun!
over the time i've had sabine, he's gone from cocky bestfriend to mildly co-dependent bestfriend who feels like they're getting left behind. most of his character/arc revolves around his friendship with shielda and how their dynamic is forced to change when shielda becomes the fated bearer of an armare and their lives change.
before the story starts, shielda and sabine are bestfriends from two very different social classes. they meet as teenagers at a magical training school that feeds into the iroman military, and while they're unlikely friends, there isn't much to oppose their friendship. shielda becoming a fated bearer and the end of their training really forces sabine to face reality a bit. they still are bestfriends, but sabine's no longer the most important person in shielda's life, nor is he allowed to be.
as a result, sabine feels a little left behind.
add sabine being aroace to the mix, plus shielda getting engaged to the prince of iroma and elven mercenary, plus the amount of value placed in romantic and sexual relationships in iroma, and sabine feels a lot left behind.
(on the plus side, however, shielda still sees him as one of the most important people in her life. she has taken him under her wing and she will keep him there as long as she can.)
but yeah sabine spends the story getting a little gloomy.

TURISIAN.com – Lombok di Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) pada pekan ini akan meriah dengan penyelenggaraan event sport tourism triathlon, Ironman 70.3. Acara akan berlangsung pada tanggal 8 – 9 Oktober 2022. Bertempat di kawasan Pantai Senggigi, Dusun Mangsit, Desa Senggigi, Lombok, NTB.
Bukan hanya sekadar olahraga, Ironman 70.3 Lombok merupakan momentum untuk uji kekuatan fisik dan mental. Pasalnya, dalam ajang triathlon bertaraf internasional ini akan menempuh jarak jauh yang butuh kekuatan, semangat, dan energi yang luar biasa.
Total jarak pada triathlon Iroman 70.3 Lombok ini mencapai 70,3 mil (113 km). Para peserta akan menjajal tiga cabang olahraga. Terdiri dari renang sejauh 1,2 mil (1,9 km), bersepeda 56 mil (90 km), dan lari 13,1 mil (21,1 km).
Wah, sangat menantang banget kan Sobat Turisian? Tak heran, kalau Ironman 70.3 terkenal sebagai event yang melatih diri untuk melampaui batas dan keluar dari zona nyaman.
Pada event wisata olahraga ini akan ada ribuan atlet dari berbagai negara yang sudah mendaftarkan diri. Nantinya, para peserta akan berlomba sambil menikmati eksotisme pantai khas Lombok. Kebayang begitu memukaunya suasana destinasi Lombok tersebut!

Saat bersepeda, peserta bakal melewati area permukiman di pesisir pantai, perbukitan, kota tua, sampai daerah perkotaan di Lombok. Sedangkan untuk rute larinya juga tak kalah menarik. Peserta bisa sambil memanjakan mata melihat panorama di sekitar Bukit Alberto dan Verve Beach Club.
