Alone in my experience, I don’t know how to say The thoughts swirling inside my head That gather day-by-day. I’m useless and I can’t be fucked To even rise from bed. Wyll entertaining the tiefling kiddos with big, showy tales of castles and monsters and dragons and knights, all with nameless heros so the children can put themselves in the adventure.

Wyll having whole stanzas of poetry memorized that he can recite at any time, and often does under breath as he walks or swings his rapier in rhythm to keep time (he doesn't count his waltz, he *speaks* it)

Wyll dropping his favourite quotes from plays in casual conversation (and making some up completely on the spot, but they're so dead on you wouldn't be able to tell).

Wyll who could have been a poet, a playwright, a storyteller. Who *is* all of these things, even if it's not at the forefront of his being.

There's something so wholesome about the fact that Mario told Princess Peach– a beautiful, beloved protector– Luigi's name long before his own, while Luigi told Bowser– a terrifying, threatening tyrant– his own name with little provocation while Mario's had to be violently forced out of him.

Like, they really do be putting each other first, even in the subtlest of ways.

I’d rather sit and rhyme. I blame the bad anxiety for making me this way. How I avoid society And waste day after day. I know I need to face up soon, Answer when they call. Start moving to a different tune. Show up and stand up tall. For now I sit and write and fret Avoiding every task. My phone sits on my desk and yet I’ve switched it off at last.
