this morning a customer was lamenting how hard it is to find decent coffee nowadays and she was like "i don't understand why everyone goes to starbucks, i mean their drinks barely taste like coffee at all!" and i said without thinking "it's almost coffee in the same way that a chihuahua is almost a wolf" and she stared at me and then made a sudden and alarming honking sound that it took me a moment to register as laughter
