So... I've lost count of how many fic rec lists I've put out now, but the reasons remain the same as when I first started. I just love finding THAT fic that makes me happy, makes me smile, makes life seem a little better, and I wanna share the shit outta them! I love sharing my admiration of the beautiful writers who have used their time and talent (for free), because after all, they are just as passionate as we are about the ships we choose to partake in. they’re all sfw i think, listed in no particular order. none of them are unfinished, most of them are mutual pining because i’m a sucker for that. if there’s angst it won’t be too heavy and if it is i’ll give a warning :)

1) 2am knows all secrets by Unbreakable_Red_Riot on AO3, 15/15 chapters, 59k words

okay if ur searching for a list of kiribaku fics it’s more than likely that you’ve read this one. it’s a classic, it’s a fave, it’s very popular BUT FOR GOOD REASON. basically bakugou suffers from nightmares, kirishima is a good bro, it develops from there

2) ‘Cause The Dark’s Not Taking Prisoners Tonight by imatrisarahtops on AO3, 10/10 chapters, 52.4k words

very similar concept to the previous one but written differently, more focus on what they do to combat the insomnia (dear god that makes it sound like it’s gonna be nsfw it’s not). quality platonic affection between kiri and kami, quality dadzawa, what more could you want? ALSO each chapter starts with a twenty one pilots lyric about sleep and as the biggest clikkie i appreciate that

3) winter doesn’t linger here by drifting_i on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 14.1k words

some sweet domestic winter kiribaku. plenty of mutual pining, staying at kiri’s for christmas, kirishima has lesbian parents, the whole shabang

4) fatal flaws by poetic_leapard on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 13.7k words

a common trope that i LOVE: mutual pining while bakugo tutors kirishima. eventual getting together, bakugo is bad at words and feelings (bless his heart), 1A has to figure out their fatal flaw (you’ll NEVER guess what kirishima’s is)

5) Ready To Climb This Mountain Inside by cherryredriots on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 5.8k words

i think this is the shortest of the list? the boys go mountain climbing, ends up with a few confessions. straight up fluff and kiribaku quality time, really nice sweet ending and read overall

6) houdini by chonideno on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 14.1k words

another fairly popular one but GOD i love it. a late night in the dorms leads to kaminari suggesting a game of spin the bottle seven minutes in heaven - guess which pair it lands on! it’s basically fourteen thousand words of the boys making out but it stays completely sfw, if you were worried

7) Love Notes by PurplePersnickity on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 5.5k words

a short but cute story of bakugo Not being able to communicate like a regular human so instead leaves a series of anonymous notes for kiri to find. sliiighhttllyy ooc bakugou if you squint, only putting that there because i know some people have a problem with ooc :)

8) ‘cause i love you for infinity by multi class maps on AO3, 9/9 chapters, 23.2k words

ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE ALL TIME FAVES FROM ANY FANDOM. criminally underrated. no quirks au, demon (but not technically demon more like spirit) bakugo au, reincarnation au. an absolutely beautiful fic. features tokoyami and yaoyorozu as central characters, which is rare. slight angst with a happy ending, mentions of death but nothing graphic

9) Tonight, We’re the Sea by idratherhaveyou on AO3, 11/11 chapters, 60.7k words

pretty popular fic but omg do i love it. no quirks au. kirishima’s grandmother has a bad fall so he moves to a quiet seaside town to take care of her where he makes friends with ashido and kaminari and falls in love with the artist bakugo, who’s studying under the famous artist Yagi Toshiniri. i LOVE kiri’s grandmother in this. slowburn, pining, hurt/comfort, angst if you squint.

10) The Beauty of a Beast by starofjems on AO3, 15/15 chapters, 101.6k words

okay i’m not usually the biggest fan of fantasy aus but FUCK this is the exception, i’m so in love with this fic. beauty and the beast au, kirishima is the prince cursed by a witch that wanted to punish his father for his selfishness. bakugou is a kingdom-renowned monster hunter who hears about this apparently vicious beast. no quirks but still powers, both bakugo and kirishima need true love to break their curses. fairy mina, wizard kaminari, knights uraraka, midoriya and iida, dragon tetsutetsu, prince todoroki, monoma and kendou are in it too but i can’t remember what they are off the top of my head - guess you’ll have to read and find out!

11) heart stains on the carpet by cityboys on AO3, 4/4 chapters, 25.9k words

a lovely fake dating turns real dating fic. no quirks au. bakugou is a chemistry student working on nitroglycerin based products that someone is trying to steal and weaponise. kirishima is assigned to be bakugou’s bodyguard and has to be by his side 24/7, including moving in. technically college au, platonic kacchako, a really good read

12) the fool’s rush by chonideno on AO3, 4/4 chapters, 40.7k words

same writer as number six on this list! i ADORE the vibes of this fic, it’s lovely. after UA, fresh on the scene pro heroes kirishima and bakugou get an apartment together and try and work around the unresolved feelings between them. slowburn, fluff, mutual pining, a LOT of hurt/comfort because i love it. mentions of blood/wounds and mentions of alcohol.

13) neon season by chonideno on AO3, 1/1 chapters, 26.3k words

another chonideno fic! the vibe of this fic is just gorgeous. kiribaku road trip fic. the boys share a car, food, hotel rooms, beds, and each other. mutual pining, denial of feelings, happy ending. there’s also implied sexual content but nothing major. this is probably the most angst-heavy of the list because of miscommunication and general dumbassery but it has a happy ending.

14) quote love unquote by newamsterdam on AO3, 28/28 chapters, 135.7k words

this is a LOONGG one so buckle yourself in. fake dating turned real dating trope again. celebrity au where bakugo (among other bnha characters) is a famous actor and kirishima is in a small rock band and has been a long time fan (as well as having an intense crush) of bakugo for years. when kirishima bumps into bakugou at a party, the press take pictures and rumours about the two of them spiral, kicking kirishima’s band into the spotlight and helping them reach new levels of fame - with one exception. bakugou’s manager sero hanta insists that they fake a relationship for the press, and we all know where that’s bound to lead.

15) This Song is Dumb (And So Am I) by notoraeous on AO3, 6/6 chapters, 50.1k words

lord okay i haven’t read this one in a while and it’s very late night let’s see what i can remember for the summary. kirishima and bakugo and kaminari move in together after graduation, kami moves out for his career. unrequited but not really unrequited love, kirishima almost gets married to a woman, UNBELIEVABLY jealous bakugou. this is actually fairly angst-heavy, but i promise there’s a happy ending. i only cried a few times, promise

16) Roses are red and they taste like shit by Unbreakable_Red_Riot on AO3, 6/6 chapters, 47.8k words

a GORGEOUS hanahaki au. if you’re not familiar, hanahaki (literally translates to like “to cough up flowers) is a fictional disease often used in fanfiction where the sufferer painfully coughs up flower petals when they think they have an unrequited love. bakugou starts coughing up petals and it only gets more intense. kinda angsty, happy ending. tw for mentions of improper use of medications, depression-like symptoms, obviously several descriptions of throwing up

aaand that concludes my list for now!! there’s definitely ones i’ve missed off that i must’ve forgotten to bookmark so i’ll likely be adding to this over time or maybe posting an updated version. i hope you enjoy!!

Favourite fics?

Well, this fandom is so huge - the amount fics is absolutely bewildering (it’s a good thing), so I’ve read only a fraction of what’s out there and it’s probably all well-known things. I also have very specific things I like, and a long list of big dislikes / tropes I just don’t care for. With this caveat, here are some fics I really enjoyed:

Gen fic - Good-quality gen-fic is really my jam. I love stuff focusing on the class and Dadzawa

will I ever be more than I’ve always been? by aloneintherain - I love Bakugou “redemption arcs” that more focus on him becoming a better person and figuring out himself how to do better. And in this fic he does just that by becoming an antibully advocate. (The whole series is great, but this one is my personal favourite)

Kaleidoscope - Yve-E - It’s a Bakugou centric re-write of canon and it’s really interesting to try to look at the events from angry gremlin’s perspective.

Baby Steps - by Sammy D - it’s also Bakugou centric (I guess I have a pattern) - one-shots of his relationship with class 1a.

Once More onto the Breach by nivo (Baku-centric, angsty) - Gah, this one is so angsty and so good. Bakugou deals with a very bad injury. Future Fic.

History Has Its Eyes on You by Origamidragons - I’m including this because this is a rare All Might & Shouto fic and I wish there was more

Be Enough by PitViperofDoom - it’s Wonder Trio being friends

TodoBaku - This is probably my favourite ship in the fandom. These two dumbasses getting together, being oblivious and in denial - I never get tired of it…

i go for the door (the place where you are) by shaekspeares (TDBK, T, time travel shenanigans, Complete) - this fic is all kinds of amazing with Todo being hit by a quirk and swapping places with his younger self. So you get both future fic and high school stuff, cool plot, cool action, lots of great cameos, every single one of them in character. Big fave.

Playing with Fire by ninanna (TDBK, Complete, M) - the plot is the usual friends to friends with benefits to oblivious idiots stuff, set in the pro-hero future, but the other than amazing characterization, the world-building is also top notch, with lots of great food. You can really taste the zaru soba and smell the cherry blossoms in this one. Also, Todoroki is characterized as a grey sexual, which I think really fits him.

Me and You Will Do by maginot - (E, Complete) It’s basically TodoBaku being married before they start dating

once more, with feeling by Anonymous (E, Complete) - THE TDBK timeloop classic

The Drawing Board by strangergods (M, Complete) - Todoroki in therapy and with a hobby (very angsty, very beautiful)

the lights are all out (it's a big big city) by shaekspeares (T, almost complete) - a delightful look at Shouto climbing the pro-hero ranks, some quirk switcheroo and TDBK getting together.

and here you will find me, on your side by dinosuns (T, complete) - TDBK date with a twist. I love it.

Bakudeku - I love my Bakudeku angsty. Very angsty.

The Deku-shaped Hole by Saysi (BKDK, M, complete) - this one is Bakugou-centric, dealing with Izuku’s coma, with a good dose of Aizawa and All Might, and one of my favourite tropes - whether Bakugou should take OfA with a gravely injured Midoriya.

The Way You Used To by edema-ruh (BKDK, WIP, T) - it starts with a light ghost-Midoriya hanging out with Bakugou until he can rejoin his own body and then goes into high-gear angst. It has all my usual high-notes; Bakugou in anger management therapy, OfA transfer, good protective Todoroki.

The Childhood-Friends-To-Sweethearts Contest by Merryhetherweather(G, one-shot) - this one is actually fluffy, but it has one of my favourite tropes - Bakugou and Deku knowing all kinds of crazy little details about each other

TodoDeku - love them silly and nerdy.

Better Than Fiction by Leisey - Pro-hero Midoriya writes TodoDeku fanfic, Pro-Hero Shouto gets a bit obsessed.

Ten Years, One Torch by surveycorpsjean - mutual pining, hidden feelings - what makes this fic stand out are the spot-on interactions with Class 1a and the absolutely great KiriBaku sideplot.

it’s fanfic writer appreciation day, so here’s a todomomo rec list!

they’re all on ao3; I apologize that I can’t link them properly

• Bardo by thotchakra

- my absolute FAVORITE, I don’t think it shows in the todomomo tag but it’s so well written with a very interesting storyline. Please read it.

It’s aged up, though most characters don’t know each other. Momo has dreams that show her in a different life seemingly in the past; it alternates between this and her daily college life. It might be confusing at first, but it makes more sense as you go along (she meets Shouto in this dream universe).

�� In Between Here and Now by infallibleimperfection & ionica01

- also one that I love a lot, it gets better and better with great writing and goes beyond just Shouto and Momo

Todoroki’s apartment gets destroyed in a fight with a villain, Yaoyorozu offers a room in her apartment. Their relationship slowly progresses, and there’s a lot of perfect fluff.

• Fireworks by LifeOfLotus

- Amazing one shot, very feel good and you can basically imagine everything with such good descriptions

Todoroki and Momo find each other and the Ennichi festival for the second time, and spend time enjoying each other’s company.

Todoroki and Yaoyorozu go to different schools, and somehow end up ‘wrong numbered’. Their friendship develops, and curiosity grows as their friends both, I guess you could say, help and hinder, their relationship. Lots of witty dialouge and Disney references.

• Rigor Mortis by EmeraldNorth

- So far only has a couple of chapters, but I’m really looking forward to the rest of it. Reasonabley paced and pretty new.

What if... Todoroki and Bakugou were vampires, and Yaoyorozu was a coroner? Platonic Bakumomo and romantic Todomomo. Such a fun concept and the dialouge is great.

• Three Minutes by sailorartemis

- Kacchako, Kirimina, Todomomo, and Kamijirou, though romance is definitely not the focus. Stuff gets fucked up.

Basically, a quirkless zombie au. The characters still live on campus together, but have to get out and I will tell you people die REAL QUICK. Plot seems to be getting complex, and it’s worth a read.

• First Impressions Matter by LadyWhyFi

- has a few chapters, aged up characters that don’t know each other (as the name implies)

Cute story about Todoroki and Momo running into each other on multiple occasions without knowing the other’s name. Mystery person situation.

• Class 1-A Group Chat by spicypistachio

- also doesn’t show up in the tag, but a longer one chapter if you’re looking for laughs

Like the name implies, there’s a group chat. Lots of ships and characters, including Kiribaku, Izuocha (I think), and Todomomo

- Cute one shot, has nice humour

Class 1-A brings up the question of astrology, and teases a few classmates about it.

Okay, I guess I did something like that a long while ago, everything I said about those fics is still 100% valid, after making that list I reread nearly all of them a dozen of times and I’ve loved them all just as much each of them, good great fics those - but since then I’ve read a shitton more, so!! Let’s do this? Let’s do this

My (newer) Favorite Fics:

one to ten by crunchrapsupreme - lotsa pining, acquaintance to friends to lovers, incredibly soft and ridiculously happy it gave me such a warm feeling reading it? Kirishima is so pure it made my heart sing, Kaminari is just as ridiculous and negative as he’s supposed to be and Bakugou’s!!! Perfect I’m sure you’re gonna like this one

out of sight, within reach by potato - no powers AU, high school AU, misunderstandings and jealousy and ridiculous babies in love - Bakugou pines!!! It’s actually!!! A fic from Bakugou’s pov with this ridiculous dork pining!!!! I would have loved it just for that, but honestly anything potato writes is worth reading they’re just so good and know the characters so well !!!

get tough, straight up by quactus - this!!!! damn!!!! fic!!!! it’s useless even to drag this for long, the reason why this fic is between my favorites is straight out the incredible amount of Bakugou and Kirishima acting like a couple while they’re not even aware their liking each other might be mutual - they’re soft, got no personal space at all, care for each other so sweetly seriously it’s so good to read it made my insides melt

all good things need sunshine by shizuumi151 - a flower shop AU from another author I love with all my heart! Go check everything they’ve written they’re honestly a fave, such a good grasp on these two - this fic is sweet (I think I used that word to describe all the fics I’ve recced till now? It’s my fav genre what can I do) flowers make me soft and these two acting like the ridiculous crushing idiots they are surrounded by them is just a recipe to make me happy lbr

it’s pouring out here again by shizuumi151 - no power/high school/basketball club AU and I’m pretty certain I suggested this one already between my favorite Kaminari fics? Cause he’s amazing in this one, he and Sero both - so are Bakugou and Kirishima, obviously, the whole atmosphere of the fic makes me genuinely happy every single time I read this fic (which I’ve done… way too many times in the last month already, honestly… rip this is a fav for sure)

Fight Me by ryonello - no quirks/nurse! Kirishima AU and oh my god this fic is so good - it’s fun? and bright? and Bakugou pines in the most endearing way ever? I spent the whole fic nodding and going same Baku same haha

From Pictures to Words by Kivea - snapchat AU snapchat AU snapchat AU!!!! Holy heck!!!! These!!!! NERDS!!!!!!! This is a seriously great fic - Baku/Mina friendship and the squad being it all there and Baku & Deku being on civil terms make it all even better, but g o d Bakugou and Kirishima in this fic. Jesus Christ. I love them so much I can’t even find the words to describe it

little are the things we learn by newamsterdam - a 5+1 fic, 6 PoV total each of them describing the KiriBaku relationship from the eyes of those aorund them - listen. Listen. This might be obvious, because newamsterdam is my absolute fave KiriBaku author, but I live and die for this fic - aside from how I adore the external PoV format in general, every single character is so incredibly IC? And the KiriBaku relationship is so so so well described and complete even if constantly seen from an outsider’s point of view? God, I love this fic. I should reread this fic right now, honestly

but I’ve got an angry heart by newamsterdam (again) - no quirks/college AU good god this fic - you could, technically, go back in my blog and find my reblogs of every single chapter and see me dying under every single one of them. Cause this fic killed me. Kept me alive too, somehow. This might be my favorite KiriBaku fic atm, it’s so complete both from a plot point of view and from the building of the various relationships in it too - there’s Bakugou & Aizawa golden interactions, the whole squad is there and their relationships both with Bakugou and with Kirishima are perfect, I live for the way Baku and Deku’s relationship was brought in this fic and the building of Bakugou’s relationship with Kirishima is just. So. Good. It broke my heart a lot, but it made me super happy too so! It was definitely worth it I love reading this fic always

don’t count on me to let you know when by newamsterdam - I’m just, fucken, reccing all of asma’s fics whatever - this one’s n/sfw so keep that in mind! It’s also happy ending with a lot of pain and miscommunication and PLEASE BAKUGOU FOR FUCK SAKE HOLY SHIT WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS I SWER TO FUC———………..it’s a great fic please give it a try if you like to die a lot I don’t know if I mentioned this but newamsterdam’s characterization is everything I live and breathe for, lately (this fic is also the first of hers I read and the moment I decided I had a new fav author so)

Those Ten Moments by Kivea - I’m starting to notice the names sorta keeps on repeating - anyWAY Kaminari trying to make Kirishima see that his crush is requited, what a good fic it’s so much fun??? So many silly lighthearted shenanigans??? And Kaminari is beautiful in this??? Constantly #blessed tbh

you looked at me by shizuumi151 - okay this is N/SFW. And it’s actually mostly a pwp, which are usually Not My Thing. But this fic. My man this fic. Holy shit. It’s definitely one of my favorite Bakushima out there, like, possibly in my top five? Probably, I love it that much - at this point I made it clear I love this author’s way of portraying them so much, but the characterization in this one is so good? And they’re so… warm? And loving? I mean fuck they barely even know each other and still there’s so much attraction written in such a good way I might have read this fic one too many times okay. I don’t know if pwp’s are your thing. But even if they aren’t try this one out. Seriously.

parted, and never parted by Authoress - this list is getting too long so I’ll just drop the Bakushima side of this author’s AO3 page here and beg you to read everything they’ve written for them - I know I’ve said it a lot already but trust me they are worth your time. The fic I linked is a fantasy AU with God of War!Bakugou and Soldier!Kirishima, and it might maybe be my fave between the ones they’ve written? It’s one of those fics that stay with you even just for the visuals they evoke tbqh

the sunshine people by dellsey - no quirk/zumba instructor!Kirishima AU and aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh This Fic Holy Shit it’s so warm? So much fun? So much fluff? Sunshine is actually a perfect word to describe this fic, it’s… a comfort fic, the type of fic you read when you need Serious Picking Up, I don’t know how many of my days this fic has saved since the first time I read it

2 A.M. by cityboys - yo would you look at that another author that turns into gold everything they touch - how do I even begin to describe this fic. It’s. A restaurant AU. It’s super long, with an incredible plot, amazingly detailed descriptions, very good platonic interactions aside from the Literally Perfect Bakushima in it. When I read this fic the first time I literally pulled an all nighter to go through it all in one go - I kept on telling myself okay now I’ll stop and yet. It’s that sort of good. This is. A really good fic.

you and I might just be the best thing by poteto - no quirk/college AU with pining Kirishima this fic is??? So much fun??? I’ve read it so many times?? Kirishima is such a damn disaster in this??? He’s a mess and Bakugou’s confused by his antics for most of the fic I love it this fic is what Good Feelings look like when written down

Kirishima’s such a ball of pure sunshine in it? I love it

his is the sun [NOW COMPLETE] by bwyn - a soccer team/soulmates AU and when I bookmarked this one it was supposed to be done with but looks like there’s another chapter incoming after all!!! What a good!!!! I’m weak to soulmates AU so sometimes I can be a bit biased towards them, but this one is a really good one! Bakugou is… such a fucking idiot… gods

I let you go, hoping that you’d come back by shiro_yuu - a Single Dad Bakugou Future AU - actually, what I’m really loving in this fic is the way Bakugou and Kirishima have to act around each other? They used to be together but then broke up, so now it’s ten years in the future and they’re still totally smitten but unsure over whether they should try to go for a relationship again and sure the other doesn’t want a relationship anyway - it could have turned into lots of awkwardness and angst, but instead they’re so… familiar? And loving? In the way they look at each other and touch each other and talk to each other, it has a really good atmosphere I’m really liking that about this fic

Electric Moment by cityofnumbersix - a band AU! In which the band members are Kirishima Jirou Denki and Sero and Bakugou’s just joining them - also Mina’s there with them always even though she’s not actual part of the band - it’s!!! The full squad!!!! It’s what got me to try this fic out to begin with honestly. Everyone’s definitely more sexual than what my headcanons for them are, but the squad interactions in this one are Good (the Baku&Jirou interactions are giving me life???) so I’m always super happy when it updates!

slow it down (go easy on me) [NOW COMPLETE] by newamsterdam - ofc I’m following newamsterdam’s current fic, psh - also, hi asma, this fic is stressing me the fuck out (I love it to bits). It’s a Bakugou-gets-sent-to-the-future-and-keeps-it-a-secret fic which is a trope I live for, but also secrets make me go in Constant Impending Doom mode so I need to psyche myself up for hours before I can actually click on the new chapter when it’s out. This fic is making me cry and playing with my heart and I’m loving every second of it, but what am I even saying this for ofc it is and ofc I am

The Lost Continent by cattchi and paglycos - uhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah this is super N/SFW. It’s a pirates AU, and tbh I like the world building and the way it’s written a lot, so I’m leaving this here like, hey this fic is maybe a bit too much on the n/sfw side for my tastes and some things Bakugou does in the beginning make me go w h y, but I’m interested in the plot enough to go :O!!! when I see an update so have it! If you’re more into sex than I am you might seriously enjoy it - do read the tags before deciding if you want to read it, tho!

Tonight, We’re The Sea [NOW COMPLETE]by idratherhaveyou - I can’t believe I forgot to mention this fic this is my favorite fic out of the ongoing ones - it has beautiful sceneries, perfectly written characters (the way Kirishima’s low self-esteem is portrayed gives me life and Bakugou’s awkwardness in dealing with people makes me warm) the interpersonal relationships are all AMAZING (I live for Sero and Kiri’s friendship? And Mina is so good too - Kaminari’s got a weird relationship going on with Bakugou too, such a good way of bringing their canon relationship in the AU!!) and the way Kirishima and Bakugou’s relationship is evolving is so natural - I really recommend trying this one out, it makes me giddy every time it updates

Burn Like The Sun [NOW COMPLETE] by Kivea - if you’re looking for a bakusquad fic this is the fic for you, it’s all five of them being dorks and loving each other so much and tbh that’s what I love this fic so much for - that, and the literally perfect way in which Bakugou and Kirishima are made to fall in love. It’s super slow burn, but the both of them care for each other deeply since nearly the beginning in an open and obvious way and it’s such a pleasure to watch them navigate their very intimate friendship, too. It’s a firefighters AU by the way! And it has really great Bakugou and Deku and Bakugou and Uraraka interactions too, so if you’re into that you’re gonna love this. Also a very brief mention of Tetsu/Kiri, but there too it mostly boils down to friendship in the end. I love this fic, I’m sure it’s gonna be between the ones I’ll suggest to everyone once it’ll be done~

Hello I hope I'm not bothering you, but I was wondering which bakushima/kiribaku fanfics your favorite are on AO3 ? You're an amazing writer so I'm curious as to what you would recommend to read and what you think of the fics! :)

anon, you are totally not a bother! i honestly don’t have as many kiribaku fics bookmarked as i thought, but here is a quick list of some of the ones i’ve really enjoyed–

by this point i hope everyone just reads eggstasy’s stuff by default; a heart swelled to bursting is my definitive kiribaku recommendation, but i’ll also put in a plug for like ribbons, which is one of my favorite aus and exactly my kind of emotional fic, and all of their canon verse fic (marketable and downhill, especially) because the class dynamic in those is perfect and they are great pick-me-up fics for a rainy day. but i also recommend everything on their ao3 in general– it’s all good stuff and their characterization is hands down my favorite.

shizuumi151 is another favorite of mine– you looked at me is a no-Quirks college au that i enjoy a lot! the kirishima voice in that fic is amazing and the energy of the story is really great.

crunchwrapsupreme is, again, awesome. one to ten is a great getting together fic and a really sweet depiction of kirishima and bakugou’s evolving relationship. i want you to show me is my exact favorite sort of sex scene that has a lot of good emotions and characterization backing it up.

ragtag by sportsanimeruinedmylife is a great fic to read when you’ve got a lot of time to dive in– it’s an action adventure story that reads like the best superhero comics, with a well thought-out plot and lots of screentime for various characters.

found your fingerprints (all on me) by starsupernova is another au i really enjoy– no-Quirks, future fic with a lot of subtle emotions and good characterization. plus i’m always interested in the scenario of kirishima and bakugou falling away from each other but then finding their way back together, and this fic does an amazing job of depicting that.

oh, and theroyalsavage’s stuff!! particularly detonate and not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. the latter is a great no-Quirks au based on ten things i hate about you (with an awesome kirishima pov), and the former is just, really poetic and poignant and i love it.

and those are the ones that i can think of off the top of my head! i’m sure there’s lots of other great ones out there (and you can feel free to drop me recs at any time), but this would be my starter set for the ship.
