hey there !!<3 i'm so glad you enjoyed the hcs (´｡• ᵕ •｡`) ♡ your wish is my command so lets get into it! also this has slight angst ! i like to think of aventurine as a really touchy guy as soon as he gets comfy enough around you. in public he'll act all confident, throwing an arm around you while flashing a cocky smile to anybody who looks at you two, while in private he'll just bury his head in your chest as you play with his hair. it took him a while to let his guard down, to actually stop acting like the 'big strong and confident man' around you. but as soon as he did he'll be the clingiest thing ever, always trying to make you stay in bed for a bit longer, being scared that you maybe won't return some day. but you always do, you always come back to him and embrace him in your arms. as i mentioned earlier, he'll always have an arm around you, so he can just pull you into a hug whenever he wants. he'd always press a kiss to your forehead before he lets you go. (can you tell i like forehead kisses) but your lips are one of his favorite things about you, sometimes brushing over them with his thumb before chuckling and then giving you a quick peck. if it's a deeper kiss, he'll always cup your face with both hands, again not letting you go. i feel like aventurine is the type to not move at all while sleeping, so if he's spooning you, you're gonna have to get used to sleeping on one side the entire night. don't underestimate the strength he has in those arms. this man loves laying on your stomach while you're on your phone or doing anything really, one hand in his hair. other times he'll let you sleep on his lap instead, but instead of being on his phone or whatever he'd just admire your sleeping state/you in general. already speaking about laps, he loves it when you sit on his lap and hug him really tightly, because he'll hug you right back. burying his head in your neck, basically inhaling your scent. this man will kiss every single part of your body, no matter how much you hate a specific part of your body. you're insecure about your stomach?? he'll kiss and compliment till you're a blushing and smiling mess. don't like your face? again he'll kiss it, compliment it and squish it while giving you the sweetest smile ever. his voice always goes so soft whenever he speaks to you. - When you were first introduced he tried to annoy you and get you to talk smack back to him caus he wanted to fight someone since Jane was on an mission and Jeff itched for an fight

- He’s suspicious of you at first when you don't reply - Even more so that you don’t talk. But if you prove you’re  not a threat in other ways, he doesn’t actually mind it all that much... JK HE DOES MIND LIKE WHY AIN'T YOU FIGHTING OR YELLING AT HIM!

- He complains and cruses you out as you just stared at him - Jeff is annoyed how you hangout with Smile dog who makes sure to make you feel comfy which makes Jeff confused since well... Smile wasn't nice to people actually nobody really was I mean they were Creepypastas they were creatures and beings that could kill

- When he tried to fight Liu since well that's whats siblings do you smacked him up top the head as liu cackled at how Jeff was flabbergasted as you stared him down

- He gets annoyed by everybody and since your silent he comes out of nowhere and hangs out with you as he says "Shut up" when not knowing you were mute cause he never knew you were mute

- Ends up going on tangents or rants about the others while you just sit there and kind of annoyed yet staring down at him making sure he is comfortable - He knows it can get annoying to just have to listen but he’s extremely grateful for the outlet. - he can bitch about his day only to turn around and find you still there, listening intently. 

- Sooner or later he watches you do sign language talking to EJ, Toby, and Nina as you just nodded shook your head or just did sign language which he connected the dots quickly finding out that you were mute

- most of the time he is translating for those who can't understand you when you use sign language when Jeff can't is when he's on his missions and off to kill some people

- Other then that he would be by your side making sure your safe and are alright When he speaks he forgets that he's doing sign language while speaking whenever your near and people point it out he rolls his eyes

- He gets used to your silence and can't help but when he feels pissy just walks towards were you are in your room or in the kitchen kick open the door and grab you and lay his head on your shoulder

- He didn't understand sign language so he just focused on when you're looking at something or someone in a certain way, how your eyebrows furrow. how you squint your eyes, the way your lips curve up or downwards with something he likes and dislikes.

- He could read your thoughts and what you want to say but can't at all but try to explain in sign language to you and say's fuck it and just speaks to you as you nod your head listening. - He switches from checking to verbal confirmation to physical confirmation - When you two are out at night not doing missions you take an stroll before jeff then goes on an rampage out of boredom - You were making sure that jeff was careful when you noticed an couple watching them afar since you knew that they had an child but also knew that why you two killed the two parents cause they were Junkies and quiet emotionally abusive towards their own child so of course you had to kill the two so you brought Jeff!

- When he is on an mission his knife digging into the skin of an 30 year old couple while their daughter was fast asleep in her room not knowing about what was happening downstairs.

- You couldn't help but watch Jeff ripping the parents skin with his knife carving an smile as he turns towards you when you stomped your foot lightly two times on the floor is what you two used to say its time to go since he well he and you have your own secret language

Who's reading WWX as insecure did they only watch cql? I don't think WWX is insecure at all. He's brilliant but approachable. Playful but sincere. Easygoing but unwavering. Confident without taking himself too seriously. Loyal but not blindly so. Funny but not a clown. Able to let go of A LOT but without being emotionless. And even though his heroism makes him really demanding of himself he still has immense empathy for others (unlike NMJ for ex), for both the living and the dead. Here in spite of jiang cheng's admonition, Wei Wuxian took the time to check in with Wen Ning to make sure the boy wouldn't be so embarrassed by his poor performance in front of Wen Chao that he would become even more timid. This moment showed an immense empathy on his part, and of course is how Wen Ning knew him and would help him save jiang cheng. But it's also illustrates how jc doesn't want to help people even when there's no risk or cost, while WWX is happy to share his knowledge. jiang cheng is views any other talented person as a threat to himself, while WWX is happy to lift others up, happy to help others get better. He does the same with the juniors that he takes under his wing right after he's brought back! It's a really beautiful quality. He doesn't hoard his talent, his knowledge, his genius, he's happy to share all of it if he thinks it will better people's circumstances.

"Ah.. It looks like it's beginning to rain.." Your quiet voice rang across the plaza, your eyes looking up into the cloudy sky. You were just about to start your performance, but looks like something doesn't want you to ever sing the piece you worked on every evening. - Beginning from the time your heart got broken into one thousand pieces.

Beginning from the time he left.

Shaky breath left your mouth as you looked around, noticing that people aren't interested in listening to your performance by the price of getting wet. You didn't blame them though.

Only few stood in front of you. - The ones that had already heard you play and sing. The ones that know how much work you put into every piece you make.

Your hand gently embraced the lyre, your eyes closing as first raindrops started to pour.

"You told me when you left me, that I'd be fine all on my own."

Your voice rang across the plaza, gentle and beautifull. Just like the singing of birds in the very morning or the sound of calming waves, flowing over the never-endless ocean.

"From your lips, you spoke one last goodbye."

The time that hurt you the most. Truly, was there any worse thing than heartbreak?

The male in front of you sighed quietly, his expression pained - just as yours.

"I have to leave, you know that."

Your consent - light nod of the head. There really wasn't anything to say, or perhaps you feared to speak up. Being a fatui harbinger brings a lot of obligations.

"That look of sympathy - it's nothing new to me."

Would telling him your feelings change anything back then? Would saying out loud how much he means to you make him stay?

"You would think by now it wouldn't faze me."

When was it you first noticed? The first time you noticed any feelings towards him.. when was it? Perhaps in the very beginning..

"This fleeting bright new morning, I wish would last a moment more."

The morning he left, graved into your head to this day. His gentle embrace and the promise.

"I'll come back quicker than you expect me to.." He said.

Then why.. was it already so long since he left?

"All those things I don't know anymore."

Your eyes opened, suddenly, in front of you stood a lot more people than the moment you started. Your gaze wandered around the group, your heartbeat starting to fasten. It's good to finally speak out the feelings you hid inside for so long, isn't it?

Lifting your head up, raindrops washing over your face.

"Will the rain falling down ever find an ending? All this time I've been waiting in the freezing cold."

Waiting for him.. still waiting.

"Will the rain ever leave me alone? I wonder why it chose to follow me when there's nowhere else I can go."

What was the first thing he did? After meeting you.. You never expected someone as him to even lay his eyes on someone like you - simple bard, famous only in the small, yet safe city.

"Eyes like yours.. Don't want to know about a past like mine.."

What was the last thing he did? Before leaving you.. The moment you bursted into tears, couldn't hold back the emotions you wished to let out.

"Hands like yours.. Gently brush away the tears I cry."

Yet you still believe in his promise. Every next day feels a little closer.. every next day you feel him on his way towards you.

"But these scars, I know they'll only heal if I give them time.. That distant future no longer seems far away."

Your eyes once again looked into the crowd. The emotionless expression painted across your face, washed off as if by the rain you were standing under. The moment you saw his eyes. - Blue irises, like the ocean you used to visit. Like the pure sky, without any cloud covering it.

You could hear your heartbeat. You could feel your hands becoming shaky as tears appeared in the corners of your eyes. Tears of happiness? Relief, maybe..

"It storms on - into another day it's pouring on.. And I watch, knowing that there's end in sight."

His expression surprised. - eyes widened, fixated right onto yours.

"Here we stand hand-in-hand as we look out on the world.."

Tears falling down your face, mixing with the raindrops falling down the sky - covering you like a curtain.

In your expression. at the moment one could notice many emotions, but the main one was longing you felt for so long. Childe though, saw the feeling hid right on the bottom - the hidden confession you wished to tell him long ago.

"Just one umbrella, to keep us dry from the storm."
