This album has seen its share of delays. From the smoke from the forest fires taking my voice away back when we first started, to financial set backs, and more than I want to acknowledge right now, so far "Nightmares" has been a nightmare to make. This group of songs that cover my darkest before dawn moments are not only painful to revisit sometimes, but I suspect they find ways to slip into my subconscious during the creative process and produce a fear that holds me back. But if I can't overcome these feelings now, then I've learned nothing from those times. And I know all the good that has come from my rock bottom, and the fire that it had lit inside me. I owe all the incredible things I have in my life now to those darkest moments forcing me to figure out how to get to the light once and for all. This album is coming, and when it does it will be unlike anything I've ever done before. Even so, it still won't compare to what happens after. There's too much momentum for anything to stop it now. I like to a little exercise where I allow myself to slip into a daydream while a stopwatch is running. They say if you focus on a thought for just 17 seconds that's when the thought becomes a though form and begins to attract other thoughts like it. And when you focus on those thoughts for 68 seconds those thoughts actually begin to move the universe! Law of attraction kicks in. So I sit there and dream up all these amazing things and what they feel like and when I'm all done I look at the clock and marvel at how much power has gone into those dreams. I've manifested many things this way from, extra money to big crowds at my shows to vacations to even visits from cats lol. What have you manifested?
