These rescued souls would be wasted on the war as soon as they were capable of walking again.

She now takes solace in tailoring clothes, sewing small stuffed critters reminiscent of old companions. That way, they might not be forgotten, their soft button eyed visages might bring joy to a orphaned child's heart. Colorful clothes with cultural patterns might give the elderly some warmth and comfort.

If she would stop her craft, would her comrades have fought for nothing?
