Oh i have a character: Shoji

My first impression: I immediately went "Oh, he's a big kid!!"

My impression now: THAT IS MY SUNSHINE, MY PRECIOUS ONE, HE IS EVERYTHING!! HE DESERVES HAPPINES!!

Favorite thing about that character: It's so funny to me that he is the youngest of the 1A kids, yet is the tallest.

Least favorite thing: That he's not appreciated enough.

Favorite line/scene: During the Provisional License Exams, it's an added scene that wasn't in the manga, if I remember correctly. Asui got in a pickle and goes into hibernation for a while and because Shoji has all those arms, he cradles her to keep her warm and it's the cutest thing ever. Like??? He's just so great??? 😭

Favorite interaction that character has with another: It's underrated, but his relationship with Jiro. I love seeing those two being the lookouts and there's this scene in the baseball OVA, that is also another Shoji scene I love, when Jiro is like "Oh, it's getting brutal" and he suggests she takes a dive to get out the game, she fakes it and he plays along. It's so funny! 😆

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: Oooh... to choose I have to go with Asui here. I want him to have more scene with everyone, but I'm choosing Asui because he also had teamed up with her during the Cavalry Battle and again, the whole hugging thing. The idea of those two just being besties is just too cute.

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: Ever seen Nanbaka? Okay, if you haven't, there's this character named Rock that I also like a lot. He's a lot more aggressive and outgoing than Shoji, but he's a sweet, big guy just like Shoji.

A headcanon about that character: You know how Shoji wears a mask and usually it's blue? I headcanon that he has a bundle of the same mask and many other masks of different designs and colors that he wears just to feel some pizzazz that day.

A song that reminds me of that character: The song Comedy by Gen Hoshino, which is also SPY X FAMILY's first ending song. That song just has a vibe to it that reminds me of Shoji and it's also a real catchy song. The song lyrics, I just feel, resonate with how he is.

An unpopular opinion about that character: I guess this also would count as a headcanon, too, but I just think Shoji is the best hugger there is in the BNHA verse. He is also a character I just think no one could be able to hate him. Like, how could you hate him?!

Favorite picture: Okay, I have two! The first one, he just looks so cozy!! The second one tickles me because he's holding a bunch of oranges.

Which instruments would diaboys play if they were ✨️musicians✨️ (part2)

Characters included: Ayato, Kou, Kanato, Laito

5. Ayato – trombone

No, I didn't choose that because of the meme with a guy in dark glasses, no 😎. Playing the trombone is kinda hard, because you produce the sound by lips vibration, which should be super close to the mouthpiece (trombone players blow there, just like clarinet and oboe players, they all have their special mouthpiece) SO the vibrations that lips do sound kinda funny (try to imitate the sound with wich coachman stops horse, it's like "prrrr"). I honestly think it is the only one thing Ayato would be fond of, lol. He'd certainly want to look cool, he'd think about drums or maybe guitar, or even vocals... but end up with : " oooh this thing moves forward and backward, again forward and backward FUNNY".

Jokes aside, you have to controle your lips to make an intonation on this instrument, since then I believe people, who play trombone ALL have good voices and control of intonation, inner music sense of how the voice/instrument should sound, therefore it'll suit Ayato, cause as far as I remember he has talent (???) for singing. It explains my position if it's true ofc.

6. Kou – percussions (well actually vocal, but idc...)

Idk, I have the one thing in my mind: Kou has VERY good coordination. Remember, he is an idol, so he is able to sing and dance at the same time, so I can assume he'd be good at percussions of any type too.

However, it's more logical to put vocals with piano in one category, because ppl who's specialization is vocal/choir also have high level of piano education (well, should have).

But for me Kou doesn't look a person who'd be interested in piano. There's only one piano, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENT PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS... I don't know, I think he'd be very excited about fancy marimba sounds or all those bells, you know. At least he'd orient in what orchestra play and never loose his moves/entries. It won't be hard for him, I think.

7. Kanato – harp

This decision is partly inspired by @eyelessdoll-y Kanato art, where he plays the harp. Then I thought: definitely. I personally think that string plucking instruments like mandolin or lute also suit him (they have medieval vibe, just like Kanato idk why), but harp is far above them, it's heavenly beautiful.

Also Kanato would complain about how most of harp players are women and he seems to be the only guy there. Kanato would enjoy using harp as an accompaniment instrument for singing. His delicate voice + harp sound are like heaven's doors. Also, Kanato would choose such instrument to make his mother to pay attention to him.. (I didn't want to put up this theme here, but kinda did, so sorry.)

Kanato would also be annoyed with his bros who play em... very loud instruments, comparing to his own. Hehe

8. Laito – Accordion (+piano by canon)

Accordion associates with French meme music :)

But you know, this sound of harmonica, which produces accordion is rather miserable. It's like a mix of brass+woodwind+voice, weird but cool sound. Has elements, which are alike to piano keyboard, so should be relatable for Laito.

I believe that songs played with accordion are the most soulful... Maybe that's because it can make very long "pedal" long lasting sounds. Also requires virtuosity and hands which are able to take chords (tho I think Laito has such hands and fingers, since he plays piano).

I also have this hc when people assume you can only play some funny songs with this instrument, nothing serious, but when the player takes minor chords – accordion sounds as if someone's soul cries. It depicts the pain perfectly. It's like Laito for me...

My first impression: "Bro already out here on some devious timing... in slides! Oh, yeah, he's a problem!"

My impression now: Toji may be a deadbeat, but he ain't the worst anime dad out there, I'll tell you that! I like Toji. He's entertaining! It's hard to not like him. But I still do have so many questions about this man! Backstory between him and Megumi's mom. Backstory between him and Tsumiki's mom. Where in the hell did he get that worm curse and how did he know it could do that?!

Favorite thing about that character: I won't lie, but I do admire that Toji did indeed love Megumi's mother. It sucks that he didn't

Least favorite thing: He... he didn't have to do that to Riko like that.

Favorite line/scene: Oooh, to choose... I have to go with his fight against Suguru. It's actually one of my favorite fight scenes in the story so far. So much goes and on both ends they were just pulling crazy moves. And then right after he kicks Suguru in the face (disrespectful moments in anime), he then recalls Megumi and oh my gosh, that had me rolling. This man literally bodied 3 kids, a woman and then after all that heinous actions, he then is like "Oh, shit, Megumi!"

Favorite interaction that character has with another: I really like his interactions with Shiu. Those were fun scenes to watch.

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: Other than Mamaguro, I would love to have seen some backstory between him and Tsumiki's mother.

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: Toji just gives me Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. They're both badasses who are good with weaponry, family men who lost people they cared about and that changed them, have died and came back to life...

A headcanon about that character: Hm... Toji probably can cook. Not at professional chef level, but enough to not burn or undercook anything. I feel like he took up chores around the because he didn't want her to have too much on her hands. He just gives me the vibes of a man who actually doesn't mind chores. Mamaguro probably taught him a few things.

A song that reminds of that character: I can't even think of a song...

An unpopular opinion about that character: Hm... I don't think I have one for Toji. Ooh, probably that he's a villain character that is hard to hate. Like, he's a bad guy, but compared to some villains, he's not that bad. Even when it comes to being a father, he's a lot better than some anime dads. He wasn't a good one, but at least he didn't experiment on his kid or had multiple kids because of his arrogance.

Thank you so much 🥹 I always feel weird talking about hair removal with friends because almost everyone who removes hair either 1) has no issue with any methods they use or 2) has blonde hair so it doesn't need to be done as regularly. Meanwhile I'm over here feeling like I'm fighting for my life just trying to remove unwanted hair without irritating or damaging my skin, ESPECIALLY in my inner thigh area lol (which is why I so seldom bother unless I expect to be sexually active bc I'm like "BRO that took me like over an hour to do last time, now I gotta do it all over again?!?! I think one reason I'm so upset about it atm is because I *KNOW* it's such a stupid and ridiculous thing to be upset about (there are fucking wars happening and I'm upset over some long leg hair on my own body that I know naturally grows there? Gtfo) but I also feel so stupid about it affecting my confidence so much. I'm the type who prefers wearing dark tights anyway, hair or no hair, but that isn't always viable when it's warm. Or maybe i just feel like a change! And I have no problem with body hair on others at all, yet for some reason I've a problem if I show mine lol. Anyway WHATEVER, I have something internalised but I've no idea what and I've tried managing it in the past but I think tonight really just proved I need to fix my shit.

In terms of music, I'm REALLY vibing with the Succession Season 1 soundtrack atm. It makes a girl dream ;P AND motivates me to get my shit done, hahaha. Oooh Enya is so beautiful and ethereal 💖🩷🤍✨️ Also the fact she lives as a recluse in a castle and seems to live comfortably is just...ICONIC!!
