i was attacked by 500 little video edits and then i couldn't stop thinking about him and now i'm here (i also did a complete rewatch/reread and that was pretty influencing because i realized how much of him we don't get to see in the films or isn't talked about despite the fact he is such a rich character. i also think he can be a little misunderstood/boiled down to some simple things sometimes that takes away from how complex he is)

just thinking about peter maximoff (what's new) and how if you went to the same (non-mutant) highschool, he would 100% help you cheat on the mile run if u hated running. you'd be like ughhhh i cannot do this today. no way. he'd go, "come on, just hop on my back!" you'd be like no? wtf? but eventually would give in. he'd happily run you around the track (but would make sure the coach wasn't looking, of course).

My Very Specific Head-canons For Pete When He Was In High School

- 🎶she’s a runner she’s a trackstar…🎶

- like anon said he would 100% help you in the mile run if you didn’t wanna do it

- you’re lying on the grass and he’s trying to pull you up but you’re not letting him

- he then picks you up in a bridal lift and threatens to drop you if you don’t even let him help you

- and so even though you really don’t want to, you get on his back, slipping every time he takes a step, so you tighten the grip your legs have around his waist and you link your arms together around his neck

- he completes the mile run with you on his back and you’re both surprised that your coach didn’t see you

- loves giving you piggy backs (even though one time he dropped you)

- wears a hair tie around his wrist in case a girl needed one 🥹💕 also the type to carry pads and tampons in his bag if anyone was really stuck for one

- was liked by all the girls because of this. brownie points, people. brownie points!

- totally the class clown but the respectful one

- won biggest flirt in his yearbook’s superlatives, though he insisted on getting ‘most likely to become a model’

- subtly flirted with his teacher once to get out of a detention (spoiler alert: i lied, it wasn’t only once, shhh)

- good at basketball, shit at soccer

- always had a twinkie in his hand, even in class

- had a crush on the same girl (totally not you, wink wink nudge nudge 😉💕) throughout the first year of highschool all the way to the very last day ever, and after that, even if you and him went your separate ways

- crushing on the cheerleaders, specifically the head cheerleader

- got called wanda by his teachers a lot, and vice versa, she got called peter a lot on accident too

- cheated on all of his tests and attempted to cheat on his finals, his mom was not happy with him after that

- classmates told him he has golden retriever energy, which i also think he does

- always blaring his music at lunchtime

- didn’t have a girlfriend in highschool no matter how hard he tried to get one, though he did come really close one time with you

- let’s peopel borrow whatever they need off him, even if it’s his leather jacket (he only lets girls he’s crushing on wear his jacket though, cough cough you cough, is there something in my throat? just facts babes)

- hates math, but don’t we all?
