Cupcakes with her friends, Muffin and Rose!!!
I love how different all the pinks are!
I struggled a lot with realising that I liked pink as a colour. As a trans man, it’s often expected that we go stealth, conform to cisheteronormative standards regarding to preferences and presentation, and remain invisible. Admitting I liked pink, stereotypically ‘girly’ colours (though not historically!) was difficult as it felt as if this preference delegitimised my identity.
The truth is, colours and interests don’t define your gender presentation, expression or identity, and these ideologies are used as a way to oppress and categorise members of society generally by the external genitalia that, at least, mostly fits very small boxes. These boxes don’t define us, shouldn’t define us, and are not the be all and end all.
Overall, these build a bears are adorable, I love them, and I love being a trans man who likes pink! 🥰✨
