So here's some books I bought on the website thriftbooks

I got some books to help me with drawing, a book about plants and the elements

I love to read so buying myself books and learning at home is a lot better than schools, no one to bother me, no one to judge me, just me and my books 🤗

And as an introverted autistic person I love being alone and learning, to much noise and chatter or even people can disrupt my focus when learning things, I also learn visually it's hard to just remember by memory, Which is why I write and draw things down, take pictures to help me remember and keep track of things I've learned

I've also been posting on insta more instead because I feel like no one really looks at my posts on here UwU but intsa being a bitch and won't let me post my fucking pics

The Tainted Cup Robert Jackson Bennett

Where has this book been my whole life?! No, seriously, I loved every minute of The Tainted Cup. Think the Chronicles of Amicae (by Mirah Bolender) meets Pacific Rim. Only there are more plants. (Side note: if you still need to read the Chronicles of Amicae but loved The Tainted Cup, please read it next).

The Tainted Cup was a fascinating read. It's one part mystery investigation (with strong Sherlock vibes from our brilliant yet quirky Ana Dolabra) and one part fantasy (thanks to the magic and contagion risk, not to mention the Leviathans). In truth, there's still so much to learn about the magical system, politics, and even the monsters, so I'm very excited to get my hands on the next book in this series.

The mystery investigation is satisfying. It's a multi-layered murder mystery with the potential for treason and deep corruption. Throw in a naive protagonist and several unique threats, and it was quite a compelling read.

Long story short, I loved The Tainted Cup. If I could go back in time and reread it all for the first time, I would do so in a heartbeat. Note to self: Look up everything Robert Jackson Bennett has written. I've been missing out, and I need to remedy this ASAP.

Katniss knits, Peeta paints. So sweet.

Another one about them working on the plantbook, so bitterweet.

The Archer's Aim by sophinisba

A villanelle for the Catching Fire training montage. Let's just say I cried.

The Last Sunday by IzzySamson 

Training before the quell in Gale's Pov. Loved the insight into Gale's head watching everlark be so angsty and obvious lol.

Capital Vices and Distinct Virtues

This one is so beautiful and well written I cannot emphasize enough.

Katniss and Peeta debate the merits of mankind, its virtue and vice, with District Twelve as a stage. Katniss begins to realize something she won't fully understand until after the rebellion. Canon-compliant CF interlude. Round 4 PiP submission for the sin of pride, though all seven make an appearance.

Sneak Attack by burkygirl

This one is so fluffy and cosy, ughhhhh loved it. SLight canon divergence tho. This is the only one rest are all canon complaint.

A surprise during Peeta's walk home from the bakery could change everything. A little winter Everlark interlude post-Victory Tour. Written for Day 1 of the Yuletide in Panem: 12 Days of Christmas challenge on Tumblr.

Love this author so much.💕💕

Katniss said it was just for the cameras. Gale believed her until he discovered she screams for Peeta in the night. In the days before the Quarter Quell, Gale finds out there’s more to Katniss’s relationship with Peeta than she’s led him to believe. In-Panem, mostly Canon. What key point or best qualities of Peeta's that lost in the movie adaptation?

Basically all of them.

Like I feel so bad for Josh Hutcherson, because he obviously did his research, read the books, and did the best with what he was given, which wasn't much. In my opinion Peeta was not given enough meaningful screen time. Many of his most important interactions with Katniss were cut out. Like a lot of the cave dialogue, the victory tour scenes, the rooftop, the plantbook scenes, etc.

They could have done so much more with his character and instead they chose not to tell the whole story and to focus on the action sequences and the dramatic scenes, which yes, need their own attention too but don't have as much of an impact unless the audience really connects with the characters. Which many people didn't connect with Peeta (from the movies) because he was cut out of too many things.

However I will applaud Josh for doing his best to bring forth Peeta's kindheartedness, his easygoing humor, his calming and soothing personality, as well as his stoic bravery.
