Disney Princesses Ideal Partners (Pt. 2)

Request: Can you do a headcanon on what all 14 Disney princess look for in a ideal partner or s/o? Maybe split it in to two parties idk

Pocahontas

Pocahontas would prefer someone who is passionate about the environment, someone who cares about the intricate way humans interact with the natural world

Her tribe is very important to her, so someone who respects and upholds the traditions of her tribe is a must

Besides that, she just wants someone who will take care of her, but also not stifle her

She would prefer someone she can adventure with, someone who will take her on journeys with them

Someone, who like her, finds it hard to settle down and stay in one place

Mulan

Mulan doesn't really have an ideal partner but she's open to the idea of meeting someone

Someone who can keep up with her in battle and keep a level head when needed would be extremely helpful

Someone who doesn't mind that she's a little "non-traditional" and who even finds that somewhat appealing

Someone who doesn't expect her to stay at home while they do all the work, maybe the both of you could split the duties

She doesn't need a partner but if one were to come her way, she wouldn't be opposed to making it work

Tiana

Tiana doesn't have time to sit around and dream about a knight in shining armour, but like Mulan, she's not going to shut out the possibility of someone coming into her life

If she had to choose a perfect partner, it'd be someone who supports her dreams of opening her restaurant, who helps her achieve that goal and is not afraid of a woman who works hard

Someone who enjoys her cooking would be a plus

She would appreciate if you're patient and willing to give her her space when she needs it, after all, she has a lot of shifts to work

Rapunzel

Rapunzel is really open minded, she's open to anyone who is willing to spend time with her

She'd appreciate somebody who wants to learn some of her many skills and do them with her

She would love anyone, though, she's not that hard to please. She'll find anything you do fascinating and ask a million questions

She'd also prefer it if you didn't freak out about her hair'

Or Pascal

Merida

If you want to win Merida's heart, first you have to understand that she's not just going to immediately be into you

She would prefer to be on her own and therefore she doesn't really have a particular ideal partner

Someone who could keep up with her fiery attitude and her desire for adventure would be nice

Maybe even a good archer yourself, so she can have competitions with you

Really, she'd just prefer someone who will give her her space when needed and be there for her when needed

Moana

Moana wants someone who is going to trust and listen to her, someone who will give her good advice when she's uncertain what path to choose

Someone who shares her passion for the ocean, who loves to spend time in it, swimming, sailing, wayfinding, whatever the activity just enjoying the ocean air

Like Pocahontas, she wants someone who will respect and appreciate the history of her tribe and contribute to it

She is the chief of her tribe, so someone who will remind her every now and then to have fun and let loose. To not be so hung up on running the tribe and to enjoy herself.

Raya

Raya is a deeply mistrusting person, so she would prefer someone who can break down her walls. Who won't immediately be intimidated by her rough exterior.

She may like someone she can let loose around, someone who will listen to her worries and help her comes to term with the fact that she can't control everything

Above all, her ideal partner would be someone who believes in her father's vision of Kumandra. Who will fight alongside her for a world where everyone lives in peace and harmony.

Surely John Rolfe (Pocahontas II) does not appear in Disneystrology (Disney Wiki)

No, he doesn't. But this whole list is completely different from the Zodiac signs that Disneystrology assigns to each Prince. Obviously, different people have different headcanons about this subject.

As for John Rolfe, anything goes, because we don't know the real John Rolfe's date of birth, just like we don't know Pocahontas's date of birth. But it's interesting that while the real John Smith was definitely a Capricorn (he was baptized on January 6th, so he must have been born between December 30th and January 2nd), no one seems to think Disney's John Smith is a Capricorn. I guess Disney's Smith is just too different from the real man.

listen. i've been fucked up over a completely self-indulgent modern au of these two for a week and i need to expel all the headcanons i've stockpiled or i will actually lose my shit. so this is both '''''canon''''' p/js and the modern au i made up.

pocahontas is demi in both; she had a healthy libido, but she doesn't experience much sexual attraction to others. once she does, tho, it's like a switch goes off and she finds the physical act of love a very fulfilling part of her relationship. i also hc that the other person she's had sexual experience with is nakoma, although it was entirely sexual on her end and not at all romantic (nakoma had a crush on her tho. got a lil messy there). in modern au, she's transgender and what you might call 'fully transitioned.' she prefers to remain stealth, but will talk about her experience in certain circles if she feels comfortable enough to do so (mostly, she's only comfortable talking to john or nakoma about it).

john has a lot going on. he's bi and isn't too conflicted about it in either canon, but in modern au he grew up in a very heteronormative community and family so he has a lil gender crisis going on. he thinks of himself as 'part guy, part not-guy.' they don't really have the benefit of a vocabulary to work this out on their own, so it's a little nebulous. i wanted some 'messy gendered' john, what can i say?

big spoon-little spoon

john is basically made to be big spoon, and pocahontas likes being all snug, but she can step up easily if john's feelin a lil fragile (modern au this happens more often bc of the ptsd i gave him. heehee ;3 ).

lends clothes-borrows clothes

pocahontas can and has borrowed/stolen every piece of clothing john owns.

pet names

pocahontas tends to lean towards using more 'proper' names and addresses just in general; pet names were never much of a thing so much as nicknames were growing up. john, on the other hand, will use a pet name for a houseplant.

introverted-extroverted

pocahontas is quite introverted, and tends to go off on her own a lot to recharge after a big run of interactions (this happens a lot in modern au due to her job). john is generally extroverted, but he can get tired of putting on a 'show' for people after a while.

affection through words-actions

they both use a fairly balanced amount of words and actions, although pocahontas tends to vocalize her feelings more, and john has a big 'acts of service' thing going on once he's got the traction for it.

confessions

john's self esteem is in the ground, so he never confesses first. he just deprioritizes his own feelings in favor of other peoples', so he'll just...not say anything, and assume he'll be told to 'leave' when he's not wanted around anymore. pocahontas confesses to him when she figures this out, and realizes she has to spell it out for him that yES she wants him around oh my god

BUGS

these are pro-bug dorks who will take selfies with the bug before releasing it gently into the wild.

driving

both can drive but neither are particularly good. pocahontas has a motorcycle tho and she's very good on that.

cooking

these two are equally useless when it comes to domestic chores in general, because they get very impatient and lose focus. they literally have to have someone babysitting them throughout any chore or task like cooking or they will Fail so everything from cooking to cleaning the bathroom they HAVE to do together because it's the only way anything will get done. they rely heavily on takeout and nakoma cooking for them, but they do that 'hello fresh' type thing sometimes and it's a whole evening of them following directions to maybe succeed in making something edible. john is only slightly more capable bc he has one (1) sandwich and one (1) recipe for pulled pork that he can pull off on his own.

PDA

this was supposed to be a dual-colored dot lmao but they are equally disgusting as like the type of couple that forgets other people are Watching and will make out in a public park.

protectiveness

pocahontas is generally more protective only bc she knows john doesn't prioritize his own safety/LIFE and will get himself injured if he thinks he can protect someone else. john is closer to chill only bc he generally knows pocahontas is Highly capable of taking care of herself and doesn't really need him to protect her (although he would absolutely die for her if it came down to it)

relationship experience

john actually has some experience, although never anything too serious. pocahontas, being demi and fairly aloof, never had a real relationship before, so she sometimes feels insecure about her part of the relationship.

horny levels

like i said before, pocahontas has a very healthy libido, but low sexual attraction, so once the engine starts in her relationship with john, she's generally On It most of the time. john (being a healthy young man himself) is p happy to try and keep up, but if he's just not able to get there for some reason (overstimulated, depressed, just not feelin the mojo), pocahontas is very good about winding back down to non-sexual forms of affection.

awkwardness levels

they're both fairly awkward people, actually, when you think about it, but in different ways, and in different situations. overall, they balance each other's awkwardness out and make a v good team, socially.

jealousy levels

the aforementioned total absence of john's self esteem also contribute to his lack of jealous tendencies (also, to him, someone else paying a lot of attention to pocahontas is just...normal. like if someone wasn't enchanted by her he'd think they were a lil crazy, kinda way). pocahontas on the other hand, due to her insecurities, can get pretty jealous over john. she's very self-aware about it though, and can curb it with some effort, but she can get too much in her head about it sometimes.

New Disney Princess Induction Headcanons

Since Disney had announced this week that Raya was being officially inducted into the Disney Princess lineup, I thought it would be fun to come up with some headcanons on what happens in-universe whenever a new princess joins the lineup.

The new princess arrives at the Disney Castle, which is located in a pocket dimension that connects all the princesses' separate universes.

The new princess is greeted by Cinderella who gives them a welcoming speech and a congratulations for their recent membership.

The new princess is then escorted into the castle library to meet Belle and Ariel for a special interview. Ariel asks the princess many questions about their story, while Belle records all their answers in a journal. Once finished, the new princess' story is added along with all the other princesses' stories in the library.

Tiana and Snow White are in charge of preparing the ceremonial feast for the new princess, with Tiana usually handling the entree while Snow takes care of dessert.

Rapunzel leads the new princess to a tour of the castle, and informs them of the club extra curricular activities available within castle grounds, including:

Archery with Merida

Swimming with Ariel

Literature club with Belle

Ballroom dance classes with Cinderella

Environmental studies with Pocahontas

Painting with Rapunzel

The new princess is asked whether or not they wish to have a public coronation to correspond with their induction. The coronation is a traditional ceremony, but is not mandatory. Moana had chosen to skip her coronation due to her wishing not to be publicly associated with the 'princess' title.

If the new princess does choose to have a coronation, they are escorted to the castle wardrobe, where they may choose an outfit to wear for the ceremony.

If the new princess does not wish to have a public coronation, instead they will have a private dinner party within the castle with only members of the princess lineup attending.

Once a coronation is scheduled, the new princess gets to decided where and when the ceremony takes place, as well as who gets invited.

Cinderella, Tiana, and Belle do most of the organizing for the coronation, with Cinderella leading everyone to their designated roles, Tiana taking charge of food, music, and guest lists, and Belle keeping record of schedules, times, and places.

Once the princess is officially inducted, a new room for them magically appears within the castle. They are warmly welcomed by all the princesses, and encouraged to socialize and share their story of courage and kindness.

cinderella might turn to her fairy godmothers to figure out how to reverse this unusual affliction, leading to a charming and magical adventure.

she might use her growing nose to her advantage, playfully poking fun at herself, making it a source of laughter rather than embarrassment.

in the end, cinderella's little spurt would always serve as a reminder to stay true to herself and others and never pretend to be something she's not.

aurora is known for her grace and charm, but she might find herself in situations where she has to exaggerate a little for the sake of diplomacy or to please others.

at first, aurora would be utterly shocked and likely scared when she notices her nose growing. the sudden change would catch her off guard, especially considering her usual grace and composure.

flora, fauna, and merryweather notice aurora's predicament and decide to teach her the importance of honesty. instead of scolding her, they guide her through creative solutions to navigate the challenges of royal life without resorting to falsehoods.

aurora became a master of elaborate hairstyles, using cascading curls and intricate braids to cleverly conceal her lengthening nose.

understanding the importance of honesty, even in diplomacy, Aurora honed the skill of delivering truths with a touch of diplomacy, avoiding the need for exaggeration.

Disney Princesses and co. in the world of TTS part 2!

After stopping Shan Yu, Mulan earned the rank of General. Two of her main duties are training new recruits for the Emperor's Imperial Army and managing the patrol on the Wall of China. She's also managed restore a very strong alliance with Bayangor

Ariel has just married Eric by the end of TTS, and is not quite ready to be the princess of a human kingdom and, ahem, fulfill her wifely duties just yet. So instead she and Eric have joined Lady Caine's crew so they can explore the world and just be in love like the lovesick kids they are. Ariel considers herself an emissary of Atlantica, and is trying to convince her father to start building alliances with some of the human kingdoms

Just like Jasmine, Merida has also been recently crowned as Queen of Dunbroch. She mostly keeps to herself in terms of worldwide politics, but has united all the clans of Scotland into the kingdom of Scotia. Thanks to Fergus and the incident with Elinor, Merida has earned the title of the Bear Queen

The Barbaric Achipelago is the distant viking kingdoms just off the coast of Scotland. Centuries ago they raided just about every kingdom but for about a hundred years now they've just been doing their own thing. The rest of the world views them as sort of a ticking time bomb, especially when word gets around that they've learned to tame the dragons that infest their shores. When Hiccup becomes chief, he works on uniting the archipelago and improving Viking relations with the rest of the world

I've mentioned this before but Moana is the current Queen Mother of Neserdnia. As a result of her travels after the events of her movie, she had explored so much of the world that she could make it into a kingdom, so she did. As the first Queen of Neserdnia, it was her travels that made it a kingdom and an empire. Under her rule Polynesians underwent a HUGE revitalization movement, wayfinding once again becoming the backbone of society. She conceeded her claim to the throne when her daughter came of age, and now helps teach her granddaughters the ways of their people

Almost as soon as they married, John Rolfe and Pocahontas became a diplomatic power couple. Though they still live in Virginia, they travel the world at least once or twice a year on diplomatic missions to advocate for the Powhatan tribe and keep the peace between Europe and the New World.

Finally, the Pentarchy and Eleven Kingdoms of Dragon Prince are centered in Northern Ireland. The Elven kingdoms were formed from the bands of Elves who decided not to go to the Undying Lands. Ezran rules with the other monarchs as an oligarchy, and their main focus is uniting with the Elven kingdoms once again. Additionally, Callum is a huge pro-magic activist and is trying to make a school for humans that can naturally use magic

In all honesty, idk what happened with the fandom recently for it to suddenly shit out a ton of crappy takes in ATLA most especially for Zutara. I often find myself defending Zutara because a lot of its antis say the most racist and sexist stuff against it. I'm not even a Zutara fan! I'm a rareshipper.

Can't just antis simply say they don't like Zutara and move on to enjoying their own ships instead? No more stupid holier art thou morality takes that just backfire on their faces.

If they want discourse, then use canon material NOT HEADCANONS, FANONS, OR FANFICS as "evidence" to back up their takes. Antis that do that makes my head spin in exasperation. Then you point that out they start whining how you hurt their feelibgs and get all offended as a "minority".

Actually, let's focus on that last bit. It's pretty rancid too how sometimes they pretend to be part of the "minority" so they can use it as a shield for themselves when their bad behavior gets called out. In fact, this tactic hurts the actual minorities who have valid concerns about Zutara. They get drowned out by all the insanity toxic shippers say and get lumped in with them.

Well, with the new live-action coming, there has obviously, been a revival, making the fandom way much more active. Which leads to people having more time to pay attention to the show and all its intricacies.

This is where ship wars come into play. And in all honesty, atla’s ship wars have definitely left a legacy in a way I don’t think we’ll have to ever witness. With the creators perpetuous jabs at zutara solidifying antis need to hate on it and the fans, fuelling the whole thing to another level. To this day whenever something avatar related gets announced or released you start to see a revival of a not so dead ship war. And while they (probably, not sure) aren’t as brutal as they used to be, they have took another turn, with this faux-progressivism being used to fear monger zutara shippers as well as casual listeners about the ship’s legitimacy. I recommend @i-d-e-g-a-f ‘s post about it to get more insight.

On my part, if I were to pin point the moment where this faux- progressivism started taking space in a lot of anti-zutara takes, I’d say that the atla renaissance isn’t innocent for this phenomenon happening. You need to understand the context in which atla’s release on Netflix took place in. One where the blm movement took the entire world by storm. Resulting in people not having the reservations they’ve probably had in the past when it came to talking about racial issues. This was followed by the emergence of numerous movements involving similar cases (not identical, tho). As well as media and the people consuming said media being ready to offer commentary on and call out harmful depictions of racial minorities as well as the rethorics they carried.

Suddenly, anyone and everyone could offer their piece of mind on harm being caused to racial minorities. And while good, it also came with its downside.

When you take into account this context, I think it exacerbated the already existing phenomenon of people saying things in order to put on this front of being good and virtuous, yet failing or simply not wanting to realize how these things are perpetuating the very harm they claim they want to undo. You know, people perceiving and claiming zutara to be a colonized-colonizer ship. As well as comparing katara to Pocahontas, when talking about these two. Which, if these people actually cared about progress, they would know how incredibly racist and sexist it is to make that comparison.

When it comes to antis obsession with hating on zutara, I think it stems from a certain insecurity. You gotta understand that unlike any other non-canon ship, zutara could’ve legitimately been canon. It was constantly talked about in the writers room, many of the team members seriously considering it (head writers, voice actors etc..) Hence why, the creators felt the need to throw numerous jabs (ie. the ember island play, (2008) comic-con) at the ship and more specifically, its fans. Since they themselves were insecure. @burst-of-iridescent perfectly explains it in this post.

Aladdin

First and foremost, Aladdin wants a partner who accepts all parts of him. Sure, he can be cunning and sweet talking but he's also rough around the edges from living on the streets for so long

Someone who has a similar situation or who is always up for a good time would also be welcome

If you can provide (money or food) he will also be hooked, he's not a gold digger but the idea of stability and knowing where his next meal is coming from will definitely have him interested

John Smith

An ideal partner for John would challenge his way of thinking

He's a lone wolf, married to adventure so in order to have him falling for you, you'd need to be someone new, someone he wants to learn from

He wants a partner who will inspire him to think and see the world in a new way and likewise, he wants to share his own views and life with you

Li Shang

General Li Shang's first and foremost thought always is pleasing/making his father proud, so a partner who his father approves of is always a good start

He doesn't want a traditional partner who stays at home, he wants someone he can see as his equal, who will challenge him and who he can challenge

His ideal partner would be someone who respects him, but who he can also respect. Bonus points if you know how to fight

Naveen

Naveen is a fun loving guy, so his ideal partner would balance him out. They would appreciate and know how to have a good time, but when it comes down to it be able to be hardworking and serious when he struggles to be

He doesn't know a lot of the basic skills required to function, so he would appreciate someone who could either do that or teach him how. Someone he could also teach things he knows to, how to let loose, music, that kind of stuff

Someone who understands he's more than just a prince, someone who wants to be with him not because of his good looks or money but because he has a good heart and cares about them

Flynn/Eugene

Flynn wants someone who knows how to have a little bit of fun

His ideal partner understands where he's come from and wants to build a future together that means something, he wants them to truly know him

Disney Songs I associate with Silver and Lilia. Why? Because.

Twst spoilers for Chapter 7

Baby of Mine (Dumbo)- Aside from it being a legit lullaby, I imagine that Silver used to face discrimination for being human in a fae-populated land, not helped by the fact that everyone and their mother believes Lilia is wasting his time raising Silver. With all that in mind, I can easily imagine Lilia singing this to Silver. Especially, “If they only knew sweet little you, they’d end up loving you too.” If I Never Knew You (deleted Pocahontas song)- I just love this song for Silver and Lilia, It could be about Lilia realizing how much he loves Silver as a son and how he would never realize how capable of love he was till they met. (I know he loved Malleus before finding Silver, but still.) So this is Love (Cinderella)- I see this as another song referring to Lilia realizing how much he loves his baby. (Thanks to @llondonfog and their anon for pointing this out.) Reflection (Mulan)- Namely, Silver’s POV as he wants nothing more than to bring honor to his father, but feels that he’s a failure. Two Worlds (Tarzan)- Talks about Lilia and Silver being from different worlds, but coming together to make one family. You’ll Be in My Heart (Tarzan)- A song from parent to child. How could it NOT be here? Make a man outta you (Mulan)- Lilia training Silver (and Sebek). Someone’s Waiting for You (Rescuers)- I think of this song when I think of baby Silver waiting for someone to find him. Once Upon a Dream (Sleeping Beauty)- This is mainly because the two are twisted from Sleeping Beauty and because I have a headcanon that these two met in a dream before Lilia found Silver, which is how Silver was able to wake up when the fae arrived.

Look, all of these princesses have at least some interest in women. I'm gonna try to write a reason 'why' do I think that

Snow White; Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs

Bisexual. I mean she found her Prince Florian and they say that they lived happily ever after but I mean look at Florian...He's 34 and not very... handsome (sorry not sorry) so I think that she'll eventually want to explore more and more. She's also a very kind and loving soul who will probably fall in love with one or the other gender.

Cinderella; Cinderella

Bisexual but prefers men. So Ella grew up mostly with her two step-sisters and step-mother and they were abusing her. So I guess she has some kind of a need to rebel against their rules? and I guess they can be pretty homophobic so that's why Ella has the need to try out something with a woman, otherwise she looking mostly for men.

Aurora; Sleeping Beauty

Lesbian. Okay hear me out. I think that Aurora is a lesbian because she grew up with three women in middle of nowhere so I don't really think she could think of a man... She was raised by women and she lived with them most of her life so she seeks women. She cannot imagine a household without a woman and she definitely cannot imagine herself without a woman.

Ariel; The Little Mermaid

Pansexual. Ariel is interested in humans and your gender doesn't matter to her. She wants to explore and she's very curious so I think she will spend her time studying women and men separately. For sure she wouldn't care who her partner will be if female, male, non-binary... she doesn't care, she just wants to be loved.

Belle; Beauty And The Beast

Bisexual prefers women. Gaston is always flirting with her or showing off his muscles in front of her and he's just annoying her, so I think that's why Belle prefers women, because she's so tired of Gaston's (men) attention. She wants to be free and share her opinions on different books with someone intelligent and not dumb as Gaston. So that's why she's looking for women most of the time.

Jasmine; Aladdin

Bisexual. I really don't want to put 'bisexual' to everyone but.... Well Jasmine is pretty sassy and free-spirited. She need a bit of adventure in her life so she will see for someone who can protect her (man) and someone who can comfort her, understand her problems and someone to talk to all day long (woman). So I guess it only depends on who will stole her heart first.

Pocahontas; Pocahontas

Lesbian. She never seemed interested in Kocoum BUT she was very interested in her female friend, Nakoma. She's pretty curious, brave and free-spirited... she has a loving and caring soul which needs the same 'kind of soul' back. She need someone kind and gentle who is matching her energy... and she just really love boobs.

Mulan; Mulan

Lesbian. Mulan is more masculine then feminine. In the first movie she was really uncomfortable with all that make-up and the dress and was more comfortable in armor or shorts. So she seeks for someone who is almost the exact opposite of her; someone feminine.

Tiana; The Princess and the Frog

Bisexual. Tiana is confident and a hard-worker so she needs someone active. She has really close relationship with Charlotte and at the start of the movie, Tiana is disgusted by the thought of marriage and dating a man. But that was when she was a little kid, after she grew up she started to find men attractive but she still was interested in women, that's why she's bisexual.

Rapunzel; Tangled

Pansexual. Rapunzel spend 18 years locked up in a tower so after she get out she was REALLY curious about everything and everyone. She lived only with her 'mother' so she's interested in women but Eugene saved her so she began to be interested in men. After all she just wants to be loved and she wants to love, doesn't matter who, it will be the one who she will fall in love with.

Merida; Brave

Lesbian. I don't think I have to explain this one, Merida doesn't like men in the movies, she acc annoyed and disgusted by them. So it's no secret that she loves women.

Elsa; Frozen

Lesbian. Again I don't think I have to really explain this one either. It was confirmed that Elsa will have a female interest in Frozen 4. She is also independent and strong woman and I feel like she's getting more masculine which she shows in Frozen 2.

Anna; Frozen

Pansexual but prefers men. Does that make sense? I mean Anna is really kind and loving person. She will help anybody in need and comfort them in bad moments. But she always dreamed that she will marry her 'prince charming' and live happily ever after so that's why she seeks men, but if she wouldn't mind if she fell in love with a woman.

Kida; Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Lesbian. I don't know why but I just feel that she is a lesbian. She's independent and strong, she doesn't need a man. She also dominant and I kinda feel that she's also a bit masculine... that's why she want a woman. She also want woman because she admired her mother as a child so it brings her some kind of comfort.

Esmeralda; The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Bisexual. I mean she's pretty sassy and again independent, a bit masculine which she shows when she's with a woman, but there are many racist people around so she needs to be careful, that's why she also like men, because they can protect her and make her feel safe.

What are the favorite hobbies of the Disney Princesses?

Some of these are canon, others are headcanons. I won't bother to list "singing," because that's a given for most of them.

Snow White: Cooking. The one good thing to come out the Queen's reducing her to a scullery maid is that she discovered her talent in the kitchen.

Cinderella: Sewing. She makes clothes for the mice and birds, she planned to fix up her mother's dress herself, and even as a princess, she'll probably be known for her excellent needlework.

Aurora: Dancing. She does it in the woods with her animal friends and later with Phillip, and despite presumably having no formal lessons, she's the epitome of natural grace.

Ariel: Exploring and collecting things.

Belle: What else? Reading.

Jasmine: Studying politics. While I still haven't seen the live-action remake, I do like the idea of a political Jasmine who not only wants freedom, but who wants to use her royal status to help her people, not just be a powerless "lady."

Pocahontas: Canoeing, swimming, and exploring the woods.

Mulan: Horseback riding, and inventing things, like the bone-on-a-string-device she used to get Little Brother to feed the chickens. If she didn't have to be either a lady or a soldier, she could be an excellent inventor.

Tiana: Cooking, which is also her professional skill, and later dancing, thanks to Naveen's influence.

Rapunzel: She has many hobbies (she needed them to pass the time in the tower), but her favorite is painting.

Merida: Horseback riding and archery.

Anna: Bike riding, playing games, and doing fun activities with Elsa.

Elsa: Creating art and architecture with her ice powers. Also, geometry (as per the book A Sister More Like Me), which helps her design her creations.

Moana: Sailing.

Official Disney Princes Jobs and Hobbies - my headcanons

I saw posts rotating on Tumblr about Disney princesses's possible hobbies, favourite things and even jobs, but as far as I love Disney heroines, and some of them, like Elsa, Anna, Belle and Rapunzel are my comfort characters, I've rarely see any content or group headcanons towards the Disney heroes and official princes, like Eugene, Naveen, Adam, or even Hans, which I really love, even more than the princesses sometimes T_T

Disney heroes are overly underrated, but they are important as well in the heroines's stories, they are relatable, funny, and often tragic, so likeable, and without them Disney princesses wouldn't have their happy endings, so I think Disney princes and heroes are vaild in Disneyverse as well as female main heroines.

And there are my headcanons of the Disney heroes's hobbies and possible jobs, because I think, they must have one as a relatable and fully developed characters ^^ :

Florian (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) - His hobby, partially shown in canon, is definetely singing. He does it with Snow, at the beginning and the end, and it's good at it, which is overly seen in the movie (in Polish dubbing he is even voiced by Eugeniusz Bodo, famous Polish actor and singer). I have the headcanon that Florian, after the marriage with Snow, started to be fascinated with diamond carving, and even if he is much taller than dwarves we know, and maybe others in canon, he does so much to the mine, in the breaks of his king job and royal status, and even carves a diamond that later is considered heritage treasure in the kingdom.

Henry (Cinderella) - As we see in canon, he is good at dancing and singing, horseback and chivalry, and I think that are good hobbies, so I don't have much headcanons to his jobs or hobbies beside being a prince/future king.

Philip (Sleeping Beauty) - In canon we see, that he loves to sing and dance, but I have a headcanon, that he helps people in the kingdom doing their chores and duties, and as we see in direct to video movie "Enchanted Tales", he travels to the kingdom in royal needs. I think, similiar to Eric, Philip loves to travel across the lands, but in the other case, he needs more time to adjust to new place, and visits kingdoms in more political needs.

Eric (The Little Mermaid) - We see his gorgeous hobbies in canon, travelling and flute playing, so I think I couldn't add more - he is perfect as he is! ^^

Adam/The Beast (Beauty and The Beast) - Through his redemption arc in canon, we see more of his mental development, than actual hobbies, but I think Belle definetely gave him passion to read, and he spends a lot of time in library enjoying books like a little kid, since he never read them before, and what's the cutest to me, because Adam never had an good experience with his parents and adults as a child (In live action movie canon his mother died, and father stayed cold to him, and in the animated movie canon they did not appear at all), I think Beast could spend a lot of time with the children in Belle's town, that they often visit, playing with them for hours, and reading them books ^^

Aladdin - I think his passion would be painting, because we don't hav any Disney princes who paint, so I think Aladdin, as the first Disney male protagonist, would easily have an unique hobby. I imagine him painting the panorama of Agrabah, and later presenting it to Jasmine, not sure that she will like it or not, but she's always appreciating his work and effort ^^

John Smith (Pocahontas) : I think his passion are definetely travels (Yes, I stick to my headcanon about John and Pocahontas meeting after original movie, not counting that awful sequel), and after he's back in Virginia, with a memory loss after accident at the end of the movie, Pocahontas tries to show him beauty of life again, and recover his memories with her, and they later travel for a romantic kanoe ride around the Riverbend, that lets John remember his past again T_T

Shang (Mulan) - His hobby and job in canon is being a soldier and figthing, and I think that's good, but I imagine him also being a flowerer, and having special bond with Mulan's mother, who also loves flowers, and is his mentor in planting, and Shang lets himself enjoy his soft side of personality, and plant the flowers, even in the rain (as parallel to 'flower grows in adversity' quote from the canon movie) ^^

Naveen (Princess and The Frog) - In canon we see he likes to play mandoline, but I think after the marriage with Tiana, he learned to cook, with her advice, and later became one of the best cooks not only in New Orleans, but also in Maldonia and the other kingdoms, and this is a hobby, that he never expected he would enjoy ^^

Eugene (Tangled) - I think, despite we have not seen his hobbies in canon, he is good at singing, despite he doesn't want to admit it, and after he becames Rapunzel's wife and King of Corona (I do not count the series, because i'm not fan of it), he starts to do sports and chivalry, that he discovers he really enjoys.

Kristoff (Frozen) - According to my friend @lexihowardkinnie idea, after being raised by trolls, Kristoff could have alchemy/crystal magic abilities, like creating them and giving them magical powers, and in canon, we also see his hobby and job are ice harvesting and playing lute (I'm not counting Frozen 2, because I'm also not fan of it), which I think they are also good hobbies.

Hans (Frozen) - OMG, because he is one of my fav Disney princes (alongside with Adam, Naveen and Eugene), and even my fav Disney prince, I have so much jobs and hobbies for him, that are worthy their own post ^^ But I think, Hans would find in any job, that could give him enough freedom and satisfy him, especially if it could be creative one, like writer or poet, and I think having no job at all, only travelling across the world free and happy, would also satisfy him T_T I just really want him happy in canon, and that's why I have so much headcanon jobs and hobbies for him ^^
