I feel like what some people are not getting is that fox never gave EVERY X-Men character their fair share in movies. There was always four characters that were always milked. Wolverine, professor Xavier, magneto and to an extent mystique

You could count deadpool, but he's a whole another franchise. Jean, Storm and Scott havent had their own time to shine since X2. Yes they're getting it in dark Phoenix, but already the movie doesnt look promising. Plus techincally, they're just doing the last stand again.

I mean there are other X-Men characters. Nightcrawler, jubilee, kitty, rogue, ice man, colossus, quicksilver, etc. But the problem is FOX tends to focus only on four characters where 2 arent even in the xmen team. disney gives marvel characters their fair share of screen

That's what some xmen fans are excited about the merger with Disney. It's not that they hated the movies. They just wanted other characters to be recognized instead of the same four people.

I love the fox xmen movies but I would prefer if they extended their people. They are (finally) with new mutants, gambit, xforce, x23 and multipleman. And I apparently a kitty pride movie, but it did take them 17 years to do it.

I mean now I get why xmen fans like the original trilogy moives. At least those 3 movies (pre-origins) gave everyone their screen time and were a little more in character.

I still love the actors tho. so if anything, I wish disney bought the franchise earlier so that their wouldve been a (halle) storm solo movie, (famke) jean grey solo movie,(paquin) rogue, more screen time for cyclops (Marsden) and kitty (page).

Anyone else catch the name drop of The Mutant Liberation Front during gifted last night?!! They were created by @robliefeld and had their first appearance in New Mutants is 87!! Yep, the same book that Cable first appeared in!! Not only that but in the comics the MLF were lead by Styfe... the clone of Cable!!! While we may or may not see them in their full capacity in the show it’s great to know they are part of that world. Super happy for Rob... I hope his status as a creator and influencer of this medium gets catapulted!! Amazing to see that all my geeky comicbook characters I read in Highschool are taking over the world!
