Two new characters have entered Sunshine Avenue!! Dr. Ben "Benny" Doctorly and Nurse Lola T. Nursely! Welcome to the cast!! It took me a while to design these two!! Especially Lola, I adore her so much but I couldn't find the right colors for her until I tried this one!! Hmm.. facts about these two...if you couldn't tell(Its alright if you possibly couldn't!!) these two are the practicing healthcare workers of Sunshine Avenue!! Dr. Doctorly owns the only clinic in Sunshine Avenue and he has help from his Nurse Lola!! Lola looks up to Ben very much!! Seeing him as a father figure as well as a mentor! Nurse Lola is also currently the shortest character in Sunshine Avenue!!

Acacia Avenue Rentals & Community Lot

I felt inspired by some houses in San Francisco while looking through Pinterest and started this project. While playing with Rental Lots I also missed the element of community and interactions in Sims 2 & 3, so I tried to give this neighborhood a sense of livelihood.

📌What you will find on this lot:

🏘️ 4 rental lots: 2 "houses" and 2 old small apartments "newly" renovated (landlord special hehe)

☕ Coffee Shop/Bakery Lot, which can be set up to be functional if you set it (mod is included in the list you download)

🏋️‍♀️ Gym, Yoga & Dance Studio

📌Other info:

- You will need the default replacements & mods for this lot to look the same as the pictures

- The houses/apartments come in a bit of a shell shape, this means the décor is up to you. I found this to be realistic for my gameplay;

- The lot is inspired by a few streets I saw of San Francisco, though not accurate as I tailor it to my personal style;

- Feel free to change whatever you like and tag me if you use it, I will be glad to check it out;

- If you plan on re-uploading give credit where it’s due, don’t claim it as your own;

I have an idea if you make a pjo godly parent quiz- make it really hard/rare to get one of the big three! there’s always too many people who get Poseidon on the quizzes I’ve taken like where are all the Hermes kids…

I already intend to do this! I have a similar pet peeve, so I already incorporate that kind of weighted system into stuff like my random PJO oc generator, or I have a google form quiz where I will manually assign godly parents based on the results and I usually try to reserve big 3 kids a bit but honestly I don't usually even need to. Cause there is usually a different god who fits better which makes sense when you think about it.

Like, it's fandom. More specifically, it's a BOOK fandom. Of course the fandom is gonna be mostly Athena and Apollo and Hermes and maybe Dionysus kids. That basically just covers all the arts and an interest in books/mythology/history. One would expect the fandom to have disproportionately arts-and-literature-related godly parent assignments.

thinking of scrapped Blue Sargent plots… the og draft where she had empath powers… the way I definitely feel like the tapestry with the women with Blue’s face in BLLB was obviously meant to foreshadow Gwenllian, a woman with Blue’s powers being found showing she’s not alone in her type of power, but also feel like in context of td3 this might have been where Maggie first started thinking about playing with the doppelgänger trope… are the women Blue’s doppelgängers? are they Blue’s ancestors since Artemus is old enough that he knew Glendower? Gwenllian telling Blue that they’re witches? none of it going anywhere…

#I want to write a fic post TRK about Blue learning about her powers with Gwenllian I also kind of want to write an empath! Blue fic either #set in the timeline or maybe a medieval au #but I’d have to actually research to write said au so idk if that will happen but I hope the modern one happens #blue sargent #trc #BLLB opened so many interesting avenues for her char arc in TRK and TRK did nothing with them. L #s speaks #also I love the portrayal of her anger at Maura in BLLB … wish we got to see the complicated dynamics of Blue reconciling it once Maura is #back. I mean it does make sense that with everything going on she just lost Persephone and is going to lose Gansey she’d just focus on #having her back but. wish there was just a little internal monologue about it at least!

#Doodles #IZ #I know Things is long dead but I've been feeling rather nostalgic lately #Man let alone Irkens when was the last time I doodled a Latrodectus haha - and 10's style of antenna! i should not be allowed to read this author at emotional times. like. late at night. relocated from sleeping on the sofa (again lmao) at like 2am and was awake and i had mentioned that i really loved the play that one author had written (yes, the one filling me with admiration and envy so bad that let's not get into that) to my teacher and she also really likes that author and loaned me two books of his. so i decided, hey, i'm gonna read a bit, either i get tired and fall asleep (good) or i finish the book (also good) except now i'm hit once again by this stupid emotion mocktail i wanna write like that so so so bad but i'll never be able to write this or something like it because he already did that, that's the point, so now i'm tired but still not sleeping because ough and also i should really analyse the story maybe

#i already noticed a lot of details #he wasnt exactly subtle in saying his part #but damnn #a biscuit's rambles #its 4am i am still not sleeping i am still so unnormal about it #to be fair i did try to sleep #but that one theatre adaptation of a different play and this book started mixing #like the guy was whirling around on his colourful space rock on wheels thing with that bigass cane for steering (actually happened and it w #s GOOD okay it was a bit weird at the beginning but so so good) but that cane thing was a candy cane #and he like. used the hook thingy to pull me in by my collar. i have never before dreamed in 1st person pov btw that doesnt actually happen #and then thaz feeling was like a dull echo of the main guy at the end of the book #while the other two actors/characters from the play were also there #the main character still standing in the middle like a marionette slowly spinning w/out visible strings and s/that costume and stuff it was #so good. and the other one except she wasnt visible under all the clothes (that was like a pretty symbolic thing in the play) #and for some reason all of this was accompanied by iron maiden's 22 acacia avenue #i know every single riff and guitar solo and line by heart it was the exact song playing #interesting choice of lyrics for a mashup of classic literature with very different topics and one modern adaptation of one of those! #i mean that line of dreaming stopped but now im awake again ugh
