Ikemen Vampire, Soulmates AU, Stays in MC's Timeline - Comte de Saint-Germain/OC
Are soul mates' meetings really destined when, despite all the clues, it happen by means of coincidences? At least Hikari is not certain if it was fate or chance that led her to meet her soulmate and, even if it was fate, does it guarantee se is ready to face the truth of that love when they are from very different worlds?
This chapter took longer than I expected. I never realized how long conversations are difficult to write. Also realized how little I know about Comte, so sorry if anything sounds odd
AO3 Version / IkeVamp Masterlist / General Masterlist / Previous Chapter
Tumblr media
It was Hikari’s first trip to Paris, and it had been short, but she was impressed at how many things there could look fancy and cozy at the same time.
The place wasn’t too full of people, but not completely empty either. It was great for a private conversation without them being completely alone.
Until they got their orders, they only exchanged pleasantries - mostly le Comte asking about her trip - and Hikari felt that rush of butterflies of a first date with a new guy.
It could have been a normal date, if she wasn’t still a little shocked at the door that disappeared. And that was her first question as soon as they got their food.
“I would love to continue our more casual talk, but can you explain what happened to that door first? They don’t just disappear like that and you knew it would happen.”
“Yes, I did. I am the reason the door was there.” Le Comte said it with such casualty, like it was the most normal thing in the world. Well, for him it might be. “That door was connected to another in the 19th century. It is not the original door, so it disappears once closed.”
“You said it was there because of you, but you can’t have come from another time if you closed the door and can’t open it back.”
Hikari wasn’t saying that she believed him, but she wanted to see where that story would go.
“The me you met first was. Since the last time I have been in this century, I had a mark, telling me the day I would meet my soulmate. The original door is in my mansion, so I used it to come here ahead of time, so I had better chances of meeting you. I was tempted to take you back with me when we first met, not because you were my soulmate, but because I felt a connection between us, but I knew I couldn’t, so I went back to my time.”
“And the you who’s here now?” A part of her didn’t want an answer.
“I am from this time.”
“Are you trying to tell me you lived all this time? Or soulmates are bound across reincarnations, even if the marks disappear when one dies?”
“I lived every moment of it, so I had a lot of time to think whether I wanted to approach you as your soulmate or not. And I wasn’t going to. I just wanted to see you again, but you were about to go through the door my past self left open, and I had to stop you.”
“Wouldn’t he… I mean, you, be happier if I was did, so you wouldn’t have to wait all this time?”
“You could never make it to the other side. And if you did, would you be happy? Chasing me to another time would mean giving up on the life you have here. Your family and friends, your job and many comforts of your current life. I didn’t want to take it from you because of my own selfishness.”
How could she believe such a tale? Hikari wanted to, but the idea of an immortal time traveler sounded too much like Doctor Who - which, again, she only knew about because of her little sisters. Hikari had never realized how they influenced her thought process - that it scared her.
Why was it such a bad thing, though?
“That is very considerate of you. But that’s not all, is it? You said you weren’t going to approach me when you came to the museum today. Why?”
“We are inherently different, and I still don’t know if we can bridge that gap between us. I want to believe we can, but I also have seen how failed attempts leave people broken in their wake. And if you decide you don’t want to try, I won’t blame you. Once we start getting closer, it will be difficult for me to let you go, so I really want to make sure you know what you are getting into if you choose me.”
The problem was that, as implausible as the story sounded, when Hikari looked into his eyes, he seemed genuine enough. And she had gotten good at reading people with a tricky friend like Reina.
Her heart and mind pulled in different directions, and she didn’t know what to follow.
At least she had a break to think and calm down while she got another drink.
“And what am I getting into, exactly?” Hikari asked as soon as she sat back in her chair. She had decided to stop being scared of something she clearly wanted. “What really is you, to be alive all this time?”
“I am a vampire.”
Hikari almost choked on her drink. She had casually thought about it, but now he was saying she had been right.
But after the initial shock, instead of finding herself scared, she could only think how cool it was, and how a man like that had no reason to be interested in her, soulmate or not, yet the moment they were having couldn’t be called not being interested.
So her fairytale was similar to Beauty and the Beast then? She could deal with that.
Maybe she wasn’t the sane one in her family, after all. She just needed a moment with her thoughts to stop letting her mind make her so critical.
“I don’t think that is much of a problem. Not for me. But are you sure you want something from a human like me?”
Surprise flashed in his eyes for a second, then he chuckled and held her hand.
“From the moment I saw you, I couldn’t imagine anyone else.”
“Don’t you think all soulmates feel like that, even before they know? It happened to me too, but I can’t imagine why people are drawn to complete strangers.”
“I don’t think so. I think soulmates are destined to meet, but not always to love each other. The reason people are attracted to each other without knowing them is because what they first see leaves a good impression, even if it is something minimal that others wouldn’t have noticed.”
“I never thought of it this way. Love at first sight has to do with good first impressions, but it doesn’t always work because first impressions can be wrong. Other times, they are just a small piece of a whole, and the full picture isn’t as pleasant.”
“And even knowing that, do you want to know me? We live completely different lives, and, in a long-term relationship, we might have to make compromises. Are you sure you want to try?”
Hikari sighed, but smiled at him, tightening her hold on his hand.
“I do. I know the differences between us are bigger than most couples and that this relationship won’t be easy. Just the fact we live in different countries is already a challenge, and a long distance relationship can only go so far. But I would rather it doesn’t work because we decided, in the future, that these bridges are impossible to cross, then because we were afraid to try.”
“Even if I say I might want to turn you in the future?”
“I don’t know about the future. If we go that far, I might not mind.”
“If you are so determined, then I look forward to getting to know you better.” He pulled her hand closer, and kissed the back of it, without breaking eye contact.
Hikari’s heart sped up and heat rushed to her face.
“Me too.”
She had never been so hopeful after a date before. Even if their future wouldn’t be perfect, Hikari knew she would enjoy every moment of it.

Saint-Tropez Ch QF: Ugo Humbert [3] def. Valentin Royer [Q] 6-0, 6-2 mid-match stats (2nd set)
Tumblr media
📸 ATP Challenger Livestream (via website)
Well, what can be said about this one? Humbert stayed completely solid from start to finish, all aspects considered. The service game was there (especially winning 81% of his points from the first serve) and the return games also overwhelmed Royer to some extent. Furthermore, speaking of the break point conversion, Humbert successfully converted half of them (although, his 4 MPs were saved at the expense of, between his errors and a double fault). The composure also helps, in Humbert’s regard, to achieve these.
Humbert will face Matteo Arnaldi in the next round, who defeated Gregoire Barrere in straight sets (and featuring a bagel), 6-4, 6-0. Judging by Arnaldi’s form, neat times definitely will be ahead.

False Valentine Design
Tumblr media
The false valentine is one fascinating organism. It spent most of their time buried underground. Upside down with tail barely exposed on the ground exuding sweet vanilla-like scent to draw in stingless bees.
Tumblr media
The bees then slowly make their new home on the tail. Exchanging their honey and resin for the false valentine sustenance in exchange for paralyzing substances that it excretes. Enhancing the bees only defense mechanism, their bites. The mandibles coated with the chemical are capable of delivering fatal seizures to lurking dangers.
Tumblr media
In very rare occasion a false valentine pair would go to settlements where stingless beekeeper resides in. Disguised as a human with beekeeper outfit by stacking on top of another. They do so to steal the bee colony, all the while leaving convulsed people and animals on their path. Locals believed that the false valentines are enacting divine punishment to humans that are mistreating and (excessively) exploiting the bees.
It's unclear whether the medieval beekeeper outfits are inspired by them or if it's a mimicry in response to the outfit.
*Meant for a long overdue Valentine's day creature design challenge. Trying to implement that not only a patron saint of love but Valentine is also the patron saint of seizure, but because this is false it would be inflicting it rather than relieving seizures

Valentine’s Day With Donnie
(rise Donnie x gn reader)
Tumblr media
Saint Valentine’s Day: a fickle holiday that celebrates even more fickle emotions, a day that forces the formation of many a precarious bond that statistically would not last
At least, that’s how Donnie saw it for the entirety of his life
Until you came along
Now, don’t get him wrong, he still thinks it’s stupid, but maybe something could be stupid and enjoyable
He means, he enjoys his brothers’ company, right? (/j… maybe /hj)
Either way, for you, he doesn’t mind giving Valentine’s Day a genuine go
So, when you come over on the holiday, Donnie’s ready
“As you know, I think Valentine’s Day is an example of rampant consumerism devouring the meaning behind holidays and people’s wallets, but there is something special about a day in which one can express their admiration for each other.”
“Wait… you got me something?”
“Correction: I made you something.”
The man proceeds to hand you a new phone, the insignia on it implying it was made, or at least modified, by his hand
You’d been complaining mentioning that you needed one that actually works
You smile and thank him eagerly
“It’s fine if you don’t have anything, I wasn’t really expecting-”
“Au contraire, Don, I made you something too!”
He looks baffled for about 20 seconds as you hand him a small gift bag containing red velvet macarons, lavender tea bags, a small, smooth rose quartz, a miniature turtle plushie
“Well, me and Mikey made the macarons together. Gotta give credit where credit is due.”
He barely registers your comment, too absolutely enamored by your consideration of him
Donnie doesn’t know where his mind is at, but it definitely isn’t in this solar system, perhaps not even the surrounding stellar systems
Bottom line, bro’s ecstatic
The huge grin on his face and brightness in his eyes effectively gets his point across
Not only did he give a heartfelt gift, he received one?
Okay, maybe this Valentine’s Day had something to it
Watching rom-coms solely to trash on them is a mandatory tradition
Every other Valentine’s Day he’s spent by his lonesome has mostly consisted of hours of mercilessly ragging on romantic comedies
Yep, definitely just to criticize them
No sadness and/or yearning involved
But now, with your company?
He’s still criticizing the ever-loving heck out of those movies
If you genuinely enjoy rom-coms, be prepared for this little pessimist to rain on your parade, grumbling questions of the logic and flow of the film
However, if you, too, find them stupid, you’ve found yourself the perfect, cynical viewing buddy
“You can tell just from the cinematography of that one guy catching her that he’s the secondary love interest.”
“I swear on Galileo’s heliocentric model itself- how many love interests can one main character have?”
“I think that’s the challenge that was going on in the writer’s room - to see how many variations of a love triangle they could make.”
“The challenge in the writer’s room was that they had too many people slamming on keyboards, yet none of them wrote Shakespeare.”
“Was that an infinite monkey theorem allusion?”
“And a simultaneous dig on the foul writing - zing!”
Following the festivities of movie-binging and gift-giving, he turns to you with a rather uncharacteristic diffidence in his demeanor
Glance askance, slight perspiration on his forehead, fidgeting hands, stammering words
As you start to ask what’s wrong, Donnie quickly, almost unintelligibly so, asks if you want to dance
If you feel so inclined, you nod, take his hand, and offer a dance
If Sinatra is playing (Nancy or Frank or both), you know some slow dancing is going down
Bill Withers or Kitty Kallen, maybe even Dean Martin, something classic, whispering in the background, a hand or two on your hips, yours on his shoulders, chins tucked cozily on the crook of each other’s neck or crown of the head, just the two of you gently swaying together to the rhythm sounds perfect
Normally when he dances, it’s fast-paced boogie or groove (he didn’t get the name Bootyshaker9000 for nothing), but for today, for you, he’ll keep the dancing slow, smooth, sweet
Keeping you close and spending time with you has certainly made this his favorite Valentine’s Day thus far
The macarons you gave him also significantly improved his verdict
(Happy Valentine’s Day gang ‼️ HERE are some accompanying sketches with this!)

My 2023 Projects
Tumblr media
Wednesday 3rd January 2024
I thought it would be cool to share some of the projects I made last year that I liked and enjoyed working on! Most of them were small projects, some were projects I built straight after I learnt a new concept and a few are discontinued (I won't finish them anytime soon)!
I really hope, which I know I will because it's natural for me at this point, to make lots of more cool projects! This year, I want to make more with other people! Coding alone is cool and all but with other people I get more inspired!
Lastly = always remember to build projects that you're interested in. Projects you will have fun working on for a while. Every single one of these projects I've made, I was interested in somehow. And I had fun!!
Anyhoo, check out the projects below~! 🙋🏾‍♀️😊🖤

Ghoulette Appreciation Week 7
Also, a little Valentine's Day fic! 💕
back on schedule, babyyy
Week 7: “Can’t you see how much I love you”/love confessions & makeovers/dressing up
The annual Valentine's Day costume ball is coming up at the Abbey, and Aurora can't wait to attend in matching costumes with Mist. One small issue: she has to ask her first.
Rating: T Content: Fluff, Mistrora being cute and in love, allusions to sexual themes Words: 2002
This one got out of hand quite quickly! Happy Valentine's Day if you celebrate! 💕
Read below or on AO3!
At the Abbey, the annual Valentine’s Day costume ball was coming up. Because what said “Satan-worshipping-church” like a debauched disco on a Saint’s memorial day? At these parties, the ghouls and humans intermingled freely, and nights often ended in more than just intermingling. For the ghouls, it was also a night of freedom from their masks, all the more appreciated by the newer ghouls with their oppressive helmets.
Aurora couldn’t wait. This was her first Valentine’s costume ball topside, and if it was anything like the other parties she had been to topside, it would be a blast. From the minute it was announced, she had been thinking of what her costume should be. Halloween had been incredible, everyone dressed some kind of spooky or sexy, or both. Aurora had matched costumes with the other touring ghoulettes Cirrus and Cumulus, going as The Plastics from Mean Girls.
Aurora wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue her chick-flick move theme for this party. She wasn’t even sure what she wanted to go as. What she did know, is that she wanted to coordinate with her girlfriend, Mist. Was that even the correct word, Aurora wondered to herself? They weren’t mated yet, but they were… something. The humans had more words than they could possibly need for these situations, Aurora could surely borrow some.
There was one slight issue with this plan, however. Mist famously did not attend costume parties at the Abbey. Aurora figured her best chance at going with Mist was to come up with a costume concept the older ghoulette couldn’t resist.
This was going to be a challenge: Aurora’s aesthetic and media preferences didn’t exactly align with Mist’s. While she would happily go as anything pink, princess-y, or otherwise hyperfeminine with a 2000s movie influence, Mist was quite the opposite. She was more into dark colours, androgenous styles and fantasy novels. Aurora was sure there had to be some crossover to explore though.
Putting aside her initial dream of matching Barbie: The Princess and the Pauper costumes, she tried to think closer to what Mist would choose. Certainly nothing involving a dress or a skirt, she knew the thought of wearing them made Mist’s skin crawl. What about a knight? Heroic, Big Sword, rescue the Princess from a big tower? Aurora wasn’t the sort of Princess that would need rescuing though.
“What about dragons?” she mused aloud to Sunshine one evening, watching the multi ghoulette crouched on the floor sewing sequins onto a pair of intricate butterfly wings.
“I think Swiss and Phantom are doing dragons…” Sunshine hummed, almost cross-eyed with concentration, “something about dragon and dragon rider.”
Aurora rolled her eyes and mimed gagging, as Sunshine looked up from her work to snicker at her reaction.
“Yeah, you might want to steer clear of them all night. Swiss gets a bit carried away on Valentine’s.”
Aurora flopped backwards onto Sunshine’s bed with a huff, “What are you going as? Maybe I can convince Mist to do a ghoulette group costume?”
Sunshine proudly held her wings aloft, “I’m a butterfly, and Mountain’s going as a caterpillar! He’s still got about fifty pom-pom feet to sew to his outfit before the party.”
“They look amazing Sunny!” Aurora looked on with envy. At this rate she was going to end up going as a lonely cat without a date.
“Why don’t you just ask Mist to go to the party with you, Rory? She might have an idea for your costumes.”
“Maybe…” Aurora rolled onto her front to face Sunshine properly, “How should I ask her?”
Sunshine sighed, setting her wings to the side and moving to sit next to Aurora. In times like these she really felt like a big sister to the newest ghoulette.
“The same way you asked her to be your girlfriend, petal. But maybe with less references to movies she hasn’t seen.” Sunshine tossed an arm around Aurora’s shoulders as best she could in their awkward position on the edge of the bed, “Besides, there’s no way she’d say no, Mist is so head over heels for you that Satan Himself could see it from the pit!”
Aurora hoped she was right.
Later that day, Aurora steeled herself to ask Mist to go to the Valentine’s ball together. She found Mist where she often was when she didn’t have duties, sat reading on the stone bench next to a small, secluded pond. Mist looked up when she heard footsteps approaching, and seeing her wide smile as Aurora approached made her heart stutter in her chest.
“Hi Moonflower, I thought I’d find you here.” Aurora sat down next to Mist, the pair instinctually shuffling as close together as possible, pressed to each other like magnets; shoulder to hip to ankle.
“Hello Sweet Thing, come to keep me company?” Mist set her book down to snake an arm around Aurora’s waist and press a kiss to the corner of her lips, seeking permission to deepen the kiss. Aurora giggles against her lips, happily losing herself in Mist’s embrace.
When they eventually broke apart for air, Aurora remembered why she had some come find Mist in the first place.
“So…” she started, trying her best to sound casual, “are you going to the Valentine’s ball?”
“Why do you ask?” smirked Mist, “are you inviting me?”
Aurora forgot what she was going to say, not expecting Mist to see straight through to what she was asking so quickly. She was flustered, stuttering out some sounds that could possibly have been interpreted as a “yes”. No one else could manage that quite like Mist.
“So, what are you going as then?” asked Mist, reaching out to play with a piece of hair behind Aurora’s ear.
“I’m not sure yet, I was hoping you might have an idea actually. I want us to go as something we both like.”
“I’ll be happy in anything, as long as you’re there.” Mist cooed in her ear, “I’d turn up with nothing but my unglamoured fins, if that was what you wanted.” Her cool and delicate fingers traced over Aurora’s neck, where gills would be if she had any, and Aurora gave in to the carnal distraction of Mist’s smooth tongue and fingertips. The costume party didn’t seem so important anymore.
Stuck polishing the wooden pews in the chapel the next day, Aurora thought more on Mist’s comment. Unglamoured fins. Creatures of the Sea. She started formulating a story in her head. She could still be a princess, but how about a mermaid princess, with the alluring voice of a siren. Mist often called her my sweet siren after all. Mist could be a beautiful pirate queen trying to pillage the mermaid’s lands, but ending up beguiled by her song convinced to go adventuring upon the high seas together.
Mist would hopefully like the costume too, a blouse loose enough around her gills, not an overly “girly” costume, but still badass. Rory lost herself in her daydream, fleshing out her perfect Halloween costume idea and backstory, until she realised that she has been polishing the same armrest for ten minutes.
This idea seemed perfect for them; dressing for a story no one but them knew. They’d tried to keep their relationship a secret for so long, even though they later learned that they hadn’t been in the least bit subtle, and their respective packs had seen through them near instantly.
She dropped by Mist’s pack dorm on the way back to her own quarters, to suggest her idea. If she’d been surprised by Mist’s enthusiasm to accompany her to the ball, she was even more astounded by her interest in the costume. Mist had all but begged to make her own, and to keep them a surprise from each other until the night of the party.
For the rest of the week leading up to the party, she spent her spare evenings in Sunshine’s room, joining her on the floor to sew sequins onto her own costume. Sunshine was predictably now making Mountain’s costume for him, attaching fist-sized pom-poms to a green zip-up hoodie. She had asked Cirrus and Cumulus if they wanted to join their crafting sessions, but they had claimed their own costumes, the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch, were already finished.
Little did Aurora know, that Mist had already enlisted the air ghoulettes to help her with her own costume, showing her how to stitch frills and ruffles to the cuffs of a blouse, and embellish the rest of her outfit in a way befitting of a pirate queen.
The evening of the Valentine’s day ball finally arrived, and Aurora was buzzing with anticipation as she waited for Mist to knock on the dormitory door. She had insisted on coming by before the party to collect Aurora. Eventually, there were three sharp raps on the door, and Aurora had to force herself to count to ten before she threw it open.
"Ahoy! I be here t’ collect me Princess!” Mist grinned widely, flourishing a plastic cutlass bedazzled with crystals. Aurora looked at her outfit in wonder; Mist looked ferociously beautiful. The delicate linen fabric of her blouse rippled in the breeze from the hallway, showing off the numerous gold swirls stitched along the frilly cuffs. The cut of her tight leather pants was enough to make Aurora’s mouth water, her long legs emphasized by the tall boots she was wearing, also decorated with rhinestones and gold. But nothing quite compared to the costume jewellery she was practically dripping in; body chains, hooped earrings, hammered metal arm cuffs. She looked every inch the terrifying pirate queen she was meant to be.
“Mist…” Aurora whispered, in awe, “you look incredible!” Mist broke character to blush at the praise, full of compliments of her own for Aurora’s sparkling bodice and mermaid “tail”.
Their tender moment in the doorway was interrupted by the boisterous entrance of a sparsely-clothed dragon and his equally underdressed rider, off to join the other ghouls that were pre-gaming in the kitchen.
“Woah Mist, you look awesome!” hollered Swiss, clearly already in the party spirit. Mist straightened her spine, and glared mock-haughtily at the multi-ghoul,
“'Tis yer Royal ‘ighness Cap'n Mist t' ye, ye rum-soaked scalawag!” she leered at him with a dangerous grin. Swiss looked like he was torn between being terrified and turned on, but was saved from having to justify either reaction by Phantom dragging him away to the kitchen. When the door closed behind them, leaving both ghoulettes alone in the entrance hall of the dorm again, they collapsed into each other’s arms in peals of laughter.
“His face Mist! You’ve given the poor guy a pirate crisis!” Aurora managed to catch her breath just enough to talk between fits of giggles.
“It’s not him I feel sorry for, think about Phantom!” they both promptly dissolved into laughter again. “Poor Bug…” mused Aurora, as she dragged Mist by the hand to her room, before they had to leave for the party proper in the Abbey’s main hall.
“You really do look amazing, Waterlily.” Aurora smiled at her as her bedroom door swung closed behind them.
“So do you, my Songbird, you’re always the most beautiful thing in every room, but tonight you look exquisite.”
Aurora pulled her onto the bed and into a kiss. They had time for a brief distraction while the other ghouls drained their liquor supplies.
“I can’t believe you went to all this effort!” pulling away, Aurora ran her hand down Mist’s arm to admire the little details of her outfit. “I didn’t even think you would want to go at all!”
“Can you still not see it?” asked Mist, raising Aurora’s chin with the tip of one long finger, “This is for you. Everything is always for you. I’d do anything just for one more smile from your beautiful lips.” She brushed across them, soft and gently parted, with her thumb. “Can’t you see how much I love you?”

the sun is up but you’re not shining (part two) - although taking a break from a relationship is generally not recommended, what if you suggested it as a way to cope with your own intrusive thoughts? unfortunately, this approach ended up having the opposite effect┆︎angst with happy ending
valentine's day special: unexpected valentine - how would ben barnes confess his feelings to his love interest?
yellow lights - recently, ben has been burdened with an excessive workload. despite appearing tired and agitated, he attempted to conceal his feelings. due to his busy schedule, he could not even take a day off. what will occur when, after a challenging day at work, he returns home and a trivial question leads to an argument that would not typically happen?┆︎angst with happy end
invidia - initially, your former boyfriend appeared to be the perfect partner, and the time spent with him felt like a fairy tale come true. however, your intuition proved accurate as he eventually revealed his true colors. following the breakup, he struggled to cope and became envious upon discovering you were dating famous ben barnes┆︎fluff
my own worst enemy - sometimes all you need is to lie in silence as your person holds you together. especially when the world is once again flooded with gray and you see nothing on the horizon to herald a uncloud┆︎hurt/comfort
fou amoureux - in a world where you respect everyone and where you treat everyone the way you would like to be treated yourself, it's hard to get under your skin. for some, however, it comes with exceptional ease, as if they were born with this gift. one of these people is ben's former partner, whom you had the (un)pleasure to meet at a party celebrating the success of the yves saint laurent fashion show in which you played the first fiddle
white lies - the saying goes that a lie has no legs, and this rings especially true when it is caught on camera┆︎fluff
BRIDGERTON
BENEDICT BRIDGERTON
perfectly flawed - finding love as a princess comes with its challenges, but becoming a mistress was never part of the plan┆︎hurt without comfort
MARAUDERS
SIRIUS BLACK
pretty please - in which sirius doesn’t take no as an answer
searchin’ for understanding - maybe there are wounds that prove resistant to the time
MOON KNIGHT
just one word - you may not be aware of their existence having only met steven, but no marc spector alter will let anything happen to you┆︎hurt/comfort
PEDRO PASCAL
the last goodbye
the last goodbye, part one - can love really be turned off just like that?┆︎angst
the last goodbye, part two - all men do is messing with your head┆︎angst
pedro pascal as...
JOEL MILLER
love don’t last in the dark (part one) - being alone for the last few years, you haven't had the opportunity to fall in love, so it's not your fault you developed feelings for a man who showed you at slightest bit of care┆︎angst
the warmest light is you (part two) - there is no such thing as right person, wrong time because with a right person you are able to surmount all the difficulties┆︎fluff
six feet in the ground - during a difficult time when your partner has let you down and broken your trust, it's reassuring to remember that you have other people in your life whom you can rely on no matter what┆︎platonic relationship
spring is a season when more than just flowers bloom - spring brings with it more than just the beauty of blooming flowers. as the sun starts to shine a little brighter, it also has its own way of awakening deeply hidden emotions. the world feels brighter, and everything seems a little bit more beautiful. especially in the right company┆︎fluff
SUPERNATURAL
castiel...
at day's close
dean winchester...
honey pie - amidst autumn rain and a cozy cottage, a honey pie surprise kindles love and warmth in the perfect moment
frozen fear - life has a way of humbling even the bravest, and it's not always a gentle lesson
THE HUNGER GAMES
the ballad of songbirds and snakes...
broken promises - in snow's world, only one thing mattered more than his family's reputation—you. but that was before he met lucy gray
part one
part two
part three
crack in the mirror - many cling to the belief of their own goodness, until they meet someone who's just like them
be careful what you wish for - turning in a district boy to the authorities felt like the right thing to do for coriolanus. but what if, in doing so, he betrayed you as well?
THE TWILIGHT SAGA
carlisle cullen...
the broken self - if i could start again, i would find a way. now, you've been given the chance, so what's your next move?
THE WALKING DEAD
rick grimes...
tell me that you'll keep me safe - you're not the one who needs to be helped, yet pretending you do? surprisingly fun

Fic's note: This story branches off after a small part of the prolog and takes place in MC's time.
This story also turned out longer than expected and I wanted to post all chapters together, that's why it wasn't posted on the 1st.

Hikari had almost given up on meeting her soulmate. At that point, she was only visiting museums because she enjoyed it, not because the mark on her arm told her this was where they would meet. Very few people would travel to Paris and miss a trip to the Louvre, and she wasn’t one of those.
The inscription on her pulse, that appeared there since her eighteenth birthday, simply said ‘museum’, as if that was a big clue. It was a bother, actually. There were so many museums in the world and, as a travel agent, Hikari had visited most of the famous ones, plus the smaller ones in her home city.
Many times Hikari wished it would disappear, but the only way for it to happen was if she fell in love with someone else - if it was true love from both parties, or so they said - or if her soulmate died.
Not that she had never dreamed of meeting the guy she was destined for. Receiving a soulmate clue or connection was a rare blessing, and the idea was almost like a fairytale.
In fact, many fairy tales talked about soulmates meeting. The way Snow White and Sleeping Beauty first happened upon their princes and how they fought for that love - although Hikari didn’t like how only the men were portrayed fighting and the women waiting on them in these; - Ariel, who fought for her dream before she fought for her love, but one ultimately led to the other; Belle, who was trapped with an unlikely soulmate and it was likely they would never get together, yet they did; how Peter Pan was a good representation of platonic soulmates…
Some modern stories, even fairy tale-like ones, were more realistic. Frozen, for example, where Ana and Hans were soulmates who didn’t love each other and also had a good portrayal of familial soulmates, that many people thought to be a myth.
But Hikari had been wondering whether those who met their soulmates, whether in fantasy or real life, were destined to or just lucky. Not everyone with a soulmate blessing met their other half but, there was also a pattern of those with a countdown always meeting.
There were various forms of soulmates’ marks and connections. Some were more useful than others. Like hers at least had a place as a clue, but one of her sisters only had half of a symbol. Some were more of a curse than a blessing, like that neighbor who could feel part of his soulmate’s pain. Others were just plain annoying, not painful but made life difficult, like people who were colorblind without their soulmate. Soul compasses and threads were very helpful, and a telepathic link made it easy to set up a meeting, and these were the rarest type of connections.
The question was: was it worth chasing that dream that not always ended up in happily ever after?
There were always soulmates who were just glad they met and went their separate ways, or ones that decided to remain platonic, even if that wasn’t their destined bond and, inevitably, those who didn’t get along at all or even, although rarely, news of soulmates who killed each other - usually because they thought their soulmate was in the way of their happiness with someone else wile, in fact, that love was actually one-sided or just misnamed passion. There was no guarantee, even if they were to meet.
Distracted by her thoughts, Hikari bumped into someone. They exchanged apologizes, and she walked away, but couldn’t resist a glance down at her wrist that was nearly instinctual whenever she touched a new person. The word was still there.
“Stop it. Just enjoy your trip, Kari.” She whispered to herself.
Focusing her attention back to the museum, Hikari observed the 'Coronation of Napoleon'.
It was such a large painting it took the entire wall, which made it look like you could step right through it and into another world, like in that Super Mario game her sister used to play.
Hikari didn’t know if she rolled her eyes or laughed at the silly comparison. Very dreamy, right? Maybe for some of her more nerdy friends. Amy probably would have laughed and said she wasn’t as clueless about the fun fantasy as she made herself to be.
Every new trip made Hikari miss her family and friends. Her group of platonic soulmates.
“Did you know, it’s the second largest painting in the Louvre.” A masculine voice spoke from behind her.
Hikari almost jumped in surprise and spun around.
The man had this aura about him, of elegance and maturity, but there was something else that she couldn’t name, alluring, almost otherworldly.
Otherworldly was the right word. He looked like someone who could have walked out of a painting, almost like he didn’t belong to that time and place.
A breath was caught in her throat and she gulped, feeling her heart speed up.
What was it that she was feeling? He was handsome and looked exactly her type, sure, but he wasn’t the first and she had never felt anything like that.
Hikari stiffened when the man drew closer, peering at her. She took a step back, gulping again.
“Pardon, Monsieur?” She meant to tell him that she wasn’t an art piece in the museum to be stared at, but these were all the words she managed to get out.
Hikari relaxed a little, although her heart was still hammering away when the man opened his hand to reveal what he was holding.
“I knew it. This earring belongs to you.” He spoke, at the same time that her hands reached for her ears, noticing one of them was indeed missing.
“Oh, thank you. When did I ever lose it?” Hikari managed a dry laugh.
“I believe it was when that patron bumped into you. I happened to spot it as it fell. I was looking for the chance to return it to you.”
That was what she got for being so distracted. Thank goodness he noticed it. But didn’t that mean he was watching her before?
“Thank you very much.” Hikari bowed, feeling embarrassed.
When she looked back up, her hazel eyes met his golden ones, and she was drawn to him again.
“It’s a shame there’s no mirror here to help you put it back on.” In fact, she could put it back without one, but she didn’t find her voice to tell him that. “Shall I help you restore it to its proper place? That way, you won’t lose it again.”
Hikari was nodding before she could think about his offer, almost like she was under some sort of spell. Had his old-world, noble manner enchanted her so easily?
“If you would hold still, Mademoiselle.”
Easy when her body was tensing again at his proximity. Only her eyes followed his every movement as he brushed her hair back to touch her ear.
Even in Paris, that was too amorous an act to be coming from a stranger. So why was she going along with it?
“That’s a lovely fragrance.” He commented, breath brushing her cheek and giving her goosebumps.
“T-thank you.” Hikari breathed out, hoping he didn’t notice her stutter. “I got that perfume here in Paris.”
“Oh… but I wasn’t talking about your perfume.”
Hikari gulped again, a different kind of tension invading her. Everything about that scene feeling stranger by the minute.
“There. I believe your earring is secured.”
The gentleman stepped away with a perfectly natural smile and Hikari relaxed, like the spell she was under had broken, and she held back a relieved sigh.
“My rogue earring is certain to behave itself now. Thank you.” The new bow she gave him was short, so he wouldn’t get out of her view.
“Not at all. It was thanks to the earring that I was granted the good fortune to meet you. Bon voyage.”
The gentlemen left, heading down a gallery Hikari assumed to lead to the Mona Lisa.
“There. Enough fairytale adventure for you, right, Kari?” She sighed, but her eyes never left the passage the man left thought, her first reaction to him still vivid in her mind.
Was it what people called love at first sight? Hikari always thought the idea was dreamy and ridiculous.
She knew nothing about that man. He had acted a little strange towards the end of their encounter and it had scared her. There was some hint of mystery in his eyes, like someone who was so much more than the facade led to believe, but she was still completely swept away by his charm.
His tailored three-piece suit was modern, but he wore it like a turn-of-the-century prince. Or a vampire from a gothic romance novel.
This last thought made her remember his casual comment on her scent, and a shiver ran down her spine.
“Don’t be silly.” Hikari shook her head. She could deny such fanciful notions, but not her temptation to follow him. “I know it’s foolish, I know it’s stupid, but, no doubt, I’ve been hit with Cupid’s arrow.” She recited the verses of a song. But the song lyrics were, in no way, happy. Was it what she had gotten herself into? A stupid, sudden, one-sided love that would break her?
No. She wasn’t following him. She was just going to see the Mona Lisa before she left. It was not her fault he had headed the same way.
She headed down the hallway he’d taken, only to find herself face-to-face with an old, carved wooden door.
“Is it some sort of exhibit?”
The door itself could be a work of art, but it was ajar, so it led somewhere. Where, though? Maybe a storage room? But there was no one watching and no protection of any kind. Through the gap, she could see clocks, vases, and paintings. Maybe it was a new exhibit?
The dark hallway beyond smelled of time forgotten. More like an old exhibit, then. And Hikari felt herself drawn to it the same way she was drawn to the gentleman from earlier.
She could take a quick look, right? Maybe add something to her travel blog about the forgotten treasure of the Louvre.
Her hand on the metal handle, she was ready to pull the door open when another hand pushed the wooden surface closed instead.
Once again, Hikari spun around to find herself looking into the mysterious golden eyes of the same man from earlier. This time, though, his clothes looked more century appropriate, although they still suggested a certain wealth and class.
But how did he change clothes? Was it one of these twin tricks Amy and Kia used to play on her when they were younger? But why trick a stranger? And she had a feeling that wasn’t the case, anyway.
Was he some kind of magician, instead? That didn’t explain why he was so fixed on her, though.
“Do you need something, Monsieur? I assure you, my earring is still in place.” She tried to act normal, but his hand was still resting on the door, with her between him and the wall.
“I am sorry if I surprised you.” He pulled back. “But you couldn’t cross that door.”
She was tempted to find an excuse and walk away but, at the same time, she didn’t want to, both for her attraction to him and her curiosity at the mystery lurking behind these words.
“Why?”
“You probably will not believe me if I tell you the truth, but look behind you.”
Hikari did cast a glance back from the corner of her eye, so she wouldn’t completely lose the man from her view, but ended up turning around when she found nothing but the wall there.
“What happened to that door? Who are you?”
He smiled at her, and Hikari’s heart skipped a beat. For him to have such an effect on her, it wasn’t fine?
“This is not an appropriate place for such a lengthy discussion. Would you give me the honor of your company?”
“Why would I? I don’t even know you. Why me? Can you answer at least that?”
“The mark on your wrist.” That answer was unexpected. Hikari looked at it, only to find the inscription had disappeared. “Meeting you was a coincidence, but I noticed it disappeared after I put your earring back. So did mine. Do you understand why?”
A soulmate mark would disappear the moment the two parties touched each other.
Was that why she was so suddenly attracted to him? But that couldn’t be it. Hikari couldn’t say if it was love or not, but even without knowing he was her soulmate, she’d been attracted to him.
“Did you know you would find me when you came here?”
“Not the first time. My mark had today’s date, but I didn’t know you would be nearby.”
“What do you mean by ‘the first time’?”
“Would you join me for tea? There is a lovely café not far from here. A public space where we can have a private conversation. I promise I’ll explain everything then. I would love to know you better…”
Should she? Even being her soulmate didn’t guarantee he was a safe person to be alone with.
Then her phone vibrated. She signaled him to wait, then looked at the message. It was from one of her younger sisters, Amy, scheduling for them to meet later. Her sister, who shouldn’t even be in Paris.
But if Amy was in the city, Hikari had nothing to fear and no reason to refuse going out with her soulmate. In the end, she didn’t want to.
“Hikari. The honor of joining you for tea and know you better would be mine. At least if I knew your name.”
“Pardon for my poor manners. Everyone calls me Comte de Saint-Germain.”
That wasn’t the level of intimacy she would have expected from the guy who approached her first, but it was fair. Soulmates or not, they were basically strangers. If it was in her country, she would have offered him no more than her last name. It was just that she grew used to many countries using first names freely while traveling. They didn’t even know if this would work.
“It will be a pleasure to get to meet you.” Hikari smiled as he offered her his arm.
She had woken up in the morning wishing she didn’t have a soulmate, and now their meeting was almost as much of a fairytale as it could be.
Hikari just hoped her fairytale didn’t include any evil witches, bad wolves, or curses at all.
A ridiculous thought. These things didn't exist. But neither did doors that disappeared.
What if it did, though?
Hikari thought for a moment, and decided that, despite fears or complaints, she would love that, as long as she had a happy ending.

The lyrics are from the song Cupid's Arrow by Braaten & Kyan Palmer. I don't know the song, I just found it and thought appropriate for Hikari and the fic

Hello and welcome to Day 18 of "Let's Explore My Plot Bunnies"
Tumblr media
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone who celebrates it!
Just to be on theme with the day I am (briefly) stepping out of my downward spiral of zany MHA crossovers to talk about a little idea I had last month.
This is a SVSSS fic that takes place in the first decade after the Qing generation took over as Peak Lords, and the end game pairing will be LiuJiu.
This plot bunny doesn't have a title yet, so any suggestions are welcome.
Synopsis:
Liu Mingyan knew she should have kept her mouth shut.
This was supposed to be just another ordinary day where she (and her parents) were subjected to her older brother's rant about his fellow Peak Lord, Shen Qingqiu. Just more hours of Liu Qingge's raging about how 'Shen Qingqiu is so shameless' and how 'Shen Qingqiu is a cheater'. (At this point, her own mother heard more about the Qing Jing Peak Lord's affairs than her own son's - Liu Mingyan doesn't know if she should laugh or despair for her brother's remaining intelligence at that fact)
Just because her brother's ability to sit still and read a book is next to non-existent does not mean Liu Mingyan's is the same. Liu Mingyan is a cultured young maiden. She read books. All of her readings point out that her older brother's behavior towards the Qing Jing Peak Lord is the only thing shameless in their interactions.
Constantly challenging Shen Qingqiu to fights; yelling at him to get his attention; talking only about the Qing Jing Peak Lord whenever her older brother gets to visit home and always complaining about his behavior to their parents - all of these actions would paint Liu Qingge as an unsatisfied and abandoned wife rather than the Bai Zhan War God he is revered as. And, her brother is not even married to Lord Shen Qingqiu - a fact that is, in reality, the most shameless thing about her brother's behavior.
And Liu Mingyan cannot help but agree with what the books tell her. Her older brother's behavior is not that of somebody who hates the person they slander. If Mingyan remembers correctly, the books said this behavior is common with potential couples - "aggressive sexual frustration" was the terminology used, she remembers.
And yet, Mingyan can not find fault in Lord Shen Qingqiu's rejection and/or lack of interest in her brother. After all, her brother is an idiot. Lord Shen must be some kind of saint to be able to stand in the same room, breathe the same air, and even talk with her walking disaster of a brother after all the hurtful words he was given.
The worst part of this is that her brother remains painfully ignorant to the fact that he is very much head over hills in love with a person that Mingyan knows deserves far better than her idiotic brother.
So, really, Mingyan should have kept her mouth shut. And yet, her patience hit the wall months ago and she cannot stand to hear one more slander towards (the saint) Shen Qingqiu. Her mouth opens without her own will and utters the words that make Liu Qingge choke.
"Gege, you speak a lot about Lord Shen Qingqiu. Have you ever considered you fell in love with him?"
Liu Mingyan feels like she might end up hating her big mouth after this, but the sight of her older brother's reddening face is quite the spectacle for her to enjoy. (And it makes for good future blackmail material, too)
This fic shall feature:
Liu Mingyan - the cultured young maiden who should not have read the books she did, nor jumped at the conclusions she did. (and yet, we, the readers, still encourage her endeavors)
Liu Qingge - the closeted gay who just realized (read: self-manipulated himself into thinking) he is in love with the person he hates the most. He also has like 3 crises: 1. His "Gay Awakening" Crisis; 2. His "I am in love with SHEN QINGQIU" crisis; 3. His "I made my crush hate me" crisis (unsurprisingly all of them are about Shen Qingqiu)
Shen Qingqiu - the most normal person here (trauma aside) and the one that is the most bewildered by this development. Someone save his poor braincells for they can't keep up with Liu Qingge's 180 change in personality.
Liu Mingyan and Liu Qingge's parents - who are just glad that 1. their son will stop acting like a neglected wife and 2. their son will not end up dying alone like the idiot they know he is (they already have made plans for Liu Qingge and Shen Qingqiu's wedding)
So what do you think? Good? Bad? Let me know!
Honestly, this idea just started with a headcanon of cat!Liu Qingge, who brings all the prey to Shen Qingqiu just to prove he can provide for him. From there it grew into Liu Mingyan being so done with her brother's pinning ass but is not going to say something because her brother is not worthy of Shen Qingqiu until he grovels - she also agrees with her books, a good grovel is necessary and her brother is still an idiot so (the saint) Lord Shen Qingqiu mustn't be bothered by the likes of him. And then it settled at making Liu Mingyan the unwilling wing-woman of her brother's (awful) romance. I quite enjoyed this plot bunny, so there is a chance I might actually write it someday.
Hope you had a great day/night and that you take care of yourselves!
See you tomorrow,

Royal Chambers, Cordonian Palace
It was an early Tuesday morning and Riley was taking full advantage of the terrace overlooking the gardens. Sipping her coffee, she relished her quiet time.
It’s Valentine’s Day.
...and today, her focus will be on her family.
Starting with baking home-made chocolate chip cookies that were now cooling on the counter. Promising to help Ellie with her Valentine gift for her father, she made one of the cookies into a giant heart for her to create and decorate her gift for Liam. The royal kitchen prepared 3 colors of royal icing for the princess to help her complete her decorating project.
For Liam, Riley has a surprise romantic dinner planned on the royal yacht tonight. A surf and turf feast with all his favorite dishes, prepared by the chef, cruising under the moonlight.
They had been planning a trip to Monterisso since finding out about the possible missing sister/fugitive, ‘Lena.’ The timing could not be more perfect for sailing, rather than flying to the island. Leo was already there with Amalas; Leo being the King’s representative involved with the search led by Interpol.
“Mm mm... what have we got here?” The sound of Liam’s deep groan caught her attention.
Riley turned to look inside the kitchen and saw him take a bite into a cookie.
“Hey, you,” she walked into the kitchen, smiling.
“Is this for me?” He grinned, staring at the huge heart she made.
“Yes! Yes, it is.” Riley smiled wide at his expression. Shaking her head, “it is part of Ellie’s Valentine gift for you. Do not touch, not yet!”
“Ellie wants to surprise you at lunch after your meeting by personally delivering it to you in your study.”
“This is my favorite kind of cookie," he said, reaching to grab another before turning back to her. “I’ll take care of these. You go finish your breakfast.”
“Ha, ha, your majesty,” Riley chuckled. Don’t take too many cookies back to your study with you.”
“Oh, and love.... bonne saint valentin a l’amour de ma vie.” Liam lifted her hand to kiss and then twirled her around. Riley reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, and whispered, “buon san valentino all’amore della mia vita,” followed by a deep kiss.

Leigh Townhouse, Capital
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Drake!” Delaney rolled underneath the bed sheets to her side to face her boyfriend coming out of the bathroom after his shower. His eyes were closed, and she smiled at how cute he looked with his wet hair sticking up all over his head and a towel wrapped around his waist. He opened his eyes and gave her a grin.
Walking to the bed, he bent down to whisper, “hey baby,” wrapping his arms around her and kissing her lips. Delaney smiled up at him as she laid there feeling safe and secure with the man she loved.
“I love you,” she told him as he kissed her again.
Drake sighed happily, “I love you too. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
He pulled himself away from her and headed towards the closet.
“Wait, what are you doing?” Delaney asked playfully as she watched him pull out his boxers from the drawer.
“Getting dressed....”
“Well, I thought that since you came out of the shower wearing nothing but your towel,” Delaney replied teasingly.
Drake smiled back at her as he sat down on the bed next to her. He reached under the sheet to pull her bottom close to him. “And how do you know I wasn’t wearing anything?”
Delaney blushed. “Umm...well...” She looked away, embarrassed.
“Well, what?” he asked again, playing along with her.
“Well, you know I didn’t see much of you last night.”
Drake laughed. “I’m sure there was plenty to see.”
He looked down at Delaney's expression and she did not look happy. “Are you flirting or starting a fight?”
“A little bit of both?” Delaney replied frustrated.
“Drake, it's the best answer I can give you right now.
It is Valentine's Day! I thought you could stay home today with me, but instead you are going out.”
“Baby, after the council meeting, I am coming right back here with your Valentine gift.” Drake replied with a grin.

“Are you ready, princess?” Riley asked Ellie as they walked hand in hand down the hallway to deliver Liam’s valentine gift.
As they approached his door, the royal guards bowed.
Ellie raised her hand and tapped. When she heard her father's voice say, “come in,” a royal guard opened the door for Ellie and Riley.
“Daddy!” Ellie rushed in and went around his desk. Liam picked her up and placed her on his knee.
“Well, hello princess,” he said, smiling at her.
“Oh Daddy, Happy Vawindines Day! I brought you a present.” Ellie handed him the giant heart-shaped cookie she had personally decorated.
Liam kissed her cheek, “Happy Valentine’s Day, my little love. Thank you so much, will you help me eat it?”
Ellie nodded excitedly as he placed the giant cookie on his desk.
Riley was watching the exchange between the two of them as she sat down on the sofa.
Liam looked over at Riley and winked.
“Princess, I have Valentine's Day presents for you and mommy, too.”
Her eyes lit up and she clapped her hands.
“Tonight, after your lesson, we are going on a boat. That is where I put them. And guess where we are going on that boat?”
Ellie furrowed her brows, and asked, “where, Daddy?”
“To visit Micaela in Monterisso.”

After getting Ellie settled into her bed for the night, Riley changed into her evening cocktail dress.
As the servers placed platters of crab legs, scallops, and calamari on the table, the chef set down individual plates of steak and lobster for each.
The music played softly in her ears as she walked out onto the deck after dinner. Standing there, she felt like she was floating on air. A smile spread across her face when she felt Liam’s hand gently stroke her bare back.
“You look so beautiful tonight, my Queen,” he whispered, as he leaned forward for a kiss.
“Thank you,” Riley deepened the kiss.
“Come dance with me,” he said, taking her hand.
As they moved effortlessly to the music, Delaney watched from the window, sitting at the dining table inside. It was the most romantic setting she had ever seen.
“What are you thinking about?” Drake asked her, but he was fairly sure he already knew.
“It must be hard being married to a King. But Riley makes it look so easy.”
“Well, Riley is an incredibly unique woman.” Drake said in reverence.
Delaney raised an eyebrow, waiting for Drake to continue.
Riley noticed Delaney watching them, as the song ended.
“Let us join Drake and Delaney inside, we still have dessert to eat.” Riley smiled as Liam kissed her hand.
“After you, love,” Liam gently turned Riley to go inside.
As Liam went inside to sit down at the dining table, Riley met with the chef to begin dessert service.
“Delaney, I hope you are enjoying yourself.” Liam enquired.
“I am. I have never been on a yacht before.”
“Li, this is a 5-star resort on water. Thank you for including Delaney and I on this cruise.”
“Oh yes, especially on Valentine’s Day,” Delaney exclaims.
Riley smiled. “No problem, we are happy you could join us.”
As the servers set their desserts in front of them, Liam squeezed Riley’s hand. “My love, you always indulge me.”
Delaney took her first bite of the baklava, “this is delicious.”
Drake grins at Liam and lifts his glass to propose a toast.
“To great food and good friends.”

As the evening progressed, Liam and Drake moved to the outside deck to discuss the game plan on the search for Lena.
While Riley and Delaney went to the lounge area of the yacht.
Both women being American, shared that commonality, but moreover, Riley wanted Delaney to feel comfortable in Cordonia. Since Liam and Drake are best friends, Delaney will be included with Royal court functions that Drake attends.
“So, how did you meet Drake?” Riley asked, as she sipped her infused sparkling water.
“We were in college together, about 10 years ago, at the University of Houston. I really liked him, so when he left to come back here, I tried to stay in contact, but I lost touch with him.” Delaney explained.
“That must have been difficult for you. How did you eventually find him?” Riley asked.
“I went to student services and found his forwarding address information. I kept trying to get in contact with him hoping he would remember me. He finally called me one day and it turned out that we reconnected after all those years.” Delaney sighed.
“Yes, you were here at Halloween last Fall.” Riley smiled.
Delaney grinned, “yes.... he was so sweet!”
“Now, let’s talk about you. Drake told me that you had some very bad experiences when you came to Cordonia.
Riley laughed, “where do I begin?”
Drake murmured to Liam, “should I be worried?” Liam replied, “man, you are so screwed.” His laugh bellowed and Riley looked up to him with a smirk, hearing his comment.
As Liam and Drake walked inside the yacht, they both took notice of the blossoming friendship of Riley and Delaney.
