i already use the supergoop unseen suncreen!!! i just hate the idea of not being able to top up my spf when i'm in direct sun all day, but i'd also be more okay sacrificing my makeup tbh (also natch i will be wearing caps and hats). i also just ordered the live tinted hue stick, which is a roll-on chemical sunscreen! i just was hoping for something to go over makeup, but you're right that it'll rarely be enough. i'm a dry skinned girlie and i've heard the one/size spray is more for oily skin so i'm a little hesitant. do u have thots on that??

re: touch up, i swear by my fenty beauty invisimatte blotting powder. it's one of my holy grail products, and i got a refill of the powder in anticipation of spain lmao so i'm all good w/that!!

The group was preparing to embark on a dangerous journey in the next couple of hours. Everybody was collecting and packing the supplies they would need for the next day. It had been hectic earlier, but it was night now and the nerves and jitters of hanging with unfamiliar strangers was retreating.

Dieter had a Hawaiian bread roll halfway in his mouth, engaged with the schematics of the plan. He had been staring at the blue sheet so long it was starting to make his head throb, his brain fighting an unseen cage match. Dieter scratched his head and swayed a little. As he munched on his roll, he swore he could feel eyes watching him so he did a quick sweep around the room.

Scott and Maria were at one of the tables, eating some sandwiches together and laughing about something. He noticed how happy they always seemed together, they always made him feel welcomed. Then there were Mikey and Chambers, they were playing cards together while Marianne smoked on something, watching silently behind them.

Then there was Vanderohe who was sitting by himself, shut away from the rest of the group. He had his headphones over his ears and his head against the back of the wall, eyes closed. He looked so peaceful, but he was the only one facing Dieter, which means he had to be the one he had felt watching. That or he was just losing his sense of perception.

Dieter made his way over to the man sitting on a lonesome bench, in his own little world. Something always drew Dieter to the man and he didn’t know what it was, but it was a strong feeling. Dieter knew he didn’t have many friends and he didn’t always know how to have conversations with other people but with Van, it’s like they were picking up where they left off.

“What are you listening to?”

Dieter tilted his head slightly in concentration and when he realized he could not be heard, he gently tapped Vanderohe on the shoulder. Vander pulled one of his headphones off his ear and clicked his phone, glaring daggers up at the man.

“What,” Vanderohe huffed. Dieter pushed past the glares and smiled.

“I asked what you were listening to.” The pair locked eyes for a moment and Vander could tell this wasn’t a fight he was going to win.

“What do you think I’m listening to,” Vanderohe asked, his straight face not budging.

“Probably...,” Dieter hummed, pondering seriously.

This was obviously a set-up question, meant to uncover the one truth Vander saw coming. Someone who was black and had his body built like his could only “stereotypically” listen to one thing. He knew how the world perceived him and Dieter wasn’t going to be any different, but the blue-eyed man was so intrigued by this new game he didn’t even notice the trap.

“Adele,” Dieter remarked. Vanderohe stared and Dieter clenched his teeth, waiting for his response, like he was expecting a prize to fall out of the air.

Vanderohe smiled and then started chuckling to himself. “Adele?”

“Yeah, Adele...do you not listen to Adele,” Dieter stared questioningly.

“Of course I listen to Adele! Who in their right mind doesn’t? I just assumed-,” Vanderohe started but stopped himself before he could finish.

“Assumed what?”

Vander thought maybe he should left it go but Dieter looked genuinely confused. “I assumed you would say rap or hip hop. I’m sure that’s what most people think I’m listening to when they watch me.”

“Do you not like rap music,” Dieter questioned, sitting down next to him.

“No, I do. It’s just I know people look at me. I know they see someone scary and unapproachable.”

“I don’t think you’re either one of those things,” Dieter added trying to be optimistic.

“Trust me, I noticed,” Vanderohe muttered. The two paused in silence before Dieter cleared his throat.

“So did I win?” Dieter grinned.

“Win what?”

“The song game we were just playing. Is that what you’re listening to?” Dieter leaned a little closer, a wide grin on his face.

“First of all, that wasn’t a game and second, no that’s not what I’m listening to.”

“So what are you listening-,” Dieter got cut off by Vanderohe taking his headphones from around his neck and gently put them over his ears.

“Now before I turn the music on, I want you to listen. Like really listen, ok?” Dieter nodded and put his hands over the headphones, nodding a little so that Vander could understand how serious he was about this.

Vanderohe hit play and Dieter instantly locked eyes with him, holding his gaze. Dieter stood for a moment trying to hear everything and then he felt it, the rhythm. He closed his eyes and started to nod his head along, a small smile on his face. “I think I feel it.” Van stood up as well and watched the man reach his plane of existence.

They stood together for a minute just enjoying the moment. Vanderohe pulled the headphones off of Dieter and pulled him out his trance. “What was that,” Dieter inquired.

“That my friend, is soul music. You can feel it, in here,” Van said placing his hand on Dieter’s heart. Dieter looked down at the man’s hand and Vander pulled away quickly.

“I know soul, Stevie Wonder! Aretha Franklin! I like them,” Dieter proclaimed, then he started to belt, “R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me!” Vander stared at him with a straight face before giving a small grin.

“Yeah, just like that.” Vander put the headphones back around his neck. “So did you like the song I played? Easy by the Commodores? It’s actually one of my favorite songs.”

“I actually quite like it now too, even though it’s very graphic song,” Dieter grinned and that made Vander grin for a second before realizing everything he said.

“How is it graphic? It’s about leaving someone you love.”

“The song you played me was about other things,” Dieter side eyed, eye brows raised. He was trying his best to conceal a blush. “You know...like sex. It specifically said ‘Let’s get it on’. Unless, I am mistaken in some manner.”

Vanderohe looked at his phone and looked at the title. “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye was headlining his screen. “I played the wrong song!” He started to tap his gadget, scrolling through his playlist. “I must’ve hit shuffle, by mistake.”

Vander tried his best to contain his slight embarrassment. “Out of the songs in the world, why that one,” he thought to himself.

“It is okay, it is a great song. I am sure this ‘Easy’ song you speak of is amazing as well. Maybe sometime later we can try to find it again, I’d love to hear it.” Dieter gave his classic smile and Vander felt the tension leave his body.

“Yeah okay.” Vander soothed. Van sat back down and Dieter gently sat beside him. The two sat together for a bit, the silence being slightly comforting. Vander felt eyes on him and he looked over, he had caught Dieter staring before turning towards another direction.

“I noticed you have you’re own headphones too, what do you listen to,” Vander chimed, which made Dieter turn to him with a big smile.

“I’m actually quite a fan of Micheal Jackson and Selena Gomez.”

“That’s a range,” Vanderohe added.

“Not really if you think about it, he is the king of pop right? And she is a pop star, so they fall under the same genre. I’m also a fan of the song ‘Hey, Soul Sister’. You know that one?”

“Hey, soul sister ain’t that mr. Mister on radio, stereo. The way you move ain’t fair you know,” Dieter sang.

“Hey, soul sister, I don’t wanna miss a single thing you do,” Vanderohe muttered.

“Tonight,” they said together. Dieter laughed and hit his knee in excitement.

“Yeah,” Dieter exclaimed. Vander smirked for a second before turning back the other direction.

“You should probably get some sleep, we have a busy schedule tomorrow. And by ‘busy’ I mean life or death.” Vander put his head back up against the wall, eyes closed again.

Dieter understood the hint and cleared his throat, standing back up. “Oh yeah, of course. I should probably head back over to the schematics, give another once over. You can never be too prepared with a Götterdämmerung.” Dieter strolled away, trying his best to act normal.

Vanderohe turned his head and admired the man as he sauntered away. He couldn’t help but watch the man struggle to keep his excitement to a minimum about the vault. Van looked down at his phone and scrolled through the playlist and found “Rock with me” by Micheal Jackson. He turned the volume up and put his head against the wall, closing his eyes.

Tomorrow was going to be a long day.

What's your opinion of treating these tracks like new music? Doesnt it seem weird since we know it's an old song..and then she possibly has a music video for it like it's new music? And why would she have Maren Morris feature since it's supposed to be an old song? Is it going to go to radio too since its gonna be a collab..cuz i didnt think this stuff was the point of the rerecordings. I mean..even if a lot of people haven't heard it..we still know it's from like 12 years ago. I know she is making more for the fans than I originally thought since she added the vault songs so I guess I dont know but I'm still excited. How many collabs do you think there could be..in general, not just Fearless and it does make the Selena Gomez collab seem more possible now. What do you think is happening on GMA?

Great questions anon, let's go one by one! On treating these songs as new music, you have to realize that only a small percentage of swifties have actually found her unreleased tracks before and even then we have no clue how many songs she has saved in her archives that never saw the light of the day. For a majority of people, these tracks are new!!

The purpose of music videos is to boost sales, and that is very important for this entire project, and if she does decide to go with mvs you can consider them a little treat to fans too! The whole point of adding extra unseen/unheard bits to an old re-recorded album is so that people who wouldn't normally take interest in it bc they've heard it before would check the new one out bc there's that promise of more

And she couldn't have new features on the songs that originally were on the album, so the wisest choice is including them on vault tracks don't you think? As for Maren in particular, she went with fearless bc of the country genre, and it's a very smart business move bc Maren is kinda ruling the country charts rn. That adds a whole new demographic to her already long list of listeners! I'm pretty sure it's gonna go on radio, like I said in a post before she's gonna make sure that her brand and her music is everywhere.....just expect to find Taylor Swift ™ scattered across in almost all pieces of media bc that's how you boost these rerecordings, she's definitely gonna work hard to selling them to everyone.

So far I know she's collabing with Selena and Katy but they both have their own albums coming out soon so I'm not sure if they'll feature on fearless or if Taylor will feature on their albums, but I'd like to expect a lot of collabs for the vault tracks. If not all, at least a majority of these tracks is what I have in mind. Oh and they're gonna promote a sneak peek of the song at GMA today!! Gonna make you sit through 2 hrs of nonsense for a 4 second snippet lmao

She’s perfect a Namjoon One-Shot

A/N: Okay so this Imagine is a bit different from the other ones. I got inspiration from the Selena Gomez song 'Perfect' I encourage you to listen to the song while reading the chapter. When you met Namjoon there was instant chemistry. It was something it could not be denied making you both fall quickly in love. Maybe that was your mistake, or maybe not. Your relationship used to be perfect, yes, you had discussions now and then, but they never lasted and were swiftly resolved. After all, Namjoon loves you and you love him. You had been dating for about two years and lived together in an apartment in Seoul. He was the adored leader of BTS and you were a fashion designer. Your job gave you the liberty to work from home which helped you visit Namjoon on tour sometimes.

After your second anniversary, you noticed there have been more fights between the two of you and you hate it. You didn't even know what has made him so angry and resentful towards you. The fights were only a part of it; the way he interacts with you has changed to the point where when you kiss you don't feel the sparks anymore. The kisses started to lose their sparkle, they get shorter and shorter until you practically have to beg for them. A few months ago, when Namjoon kissed you, there was passion in it, love, but recently it's as if he is not there at all. Still, you stay because you love Namjoon. Maybe work has been more stressful than usual, yet it's been months since he has begun to act this way.

Curious about the company that you keep

You don't know where she came from but every time he went out with his friends she was there. He mentioned her one day when you were talking about what he did the night before. She was a new music producer, at least that was what he told you. Namjoon talks about her all the time and if you'd let him it would be all he talks about. The 'I love you's' at this point have diminished and instead of saying those three beautiful words, he talks about her.

"She is amazing y/n"

"She is really talented y/n"

"She did the funniest thing today"

He even dreamt about her. No, he hasn't told you, but you heard him say her name in his sleep. After you heard her name come out of his lips you couldn't sleep. "Should I be worried?" you asked yourself, "I probably shouldn't, she is just a new coworker, a friend," after all, it's been a while since a new producer has worked with the group. Maybe it was your mistake believing that or maybe not. After tossing and turning all night you finally manage to get some rest, but it didn't last long because soon your sweet dreams turned into a nightmare as she appeared and you disappeared from his life.

A lot of times you'd find yourself thinking about how she looked like, what things she liked, or how she acted around the boys. Maybe that way you would understand Namjoon's infatuation with her. Then again Namjoon was attracted to pretty music just like the one he writes and that makes you afraid of the melodies she could compose. Afraid of them being beautiful enough to take him away from you.

I can taste her lipstick and see her laying across your chest

I can feel the distance every time you remember her fingertips

Maybe I should be more like her

And she's perfect

That late night when he finally came home, he'd thought you wouldn't notice the marks on his body, but you saw them, lipstick marks. They could only mean one thing, right? You kissed over the ones in his neck, the visible ones, trying to fool yourself and cover them with your love, but the ones unseen remained. You held your tears back muttering a "Welcome home," yet Namjoon simply muttered a "yeah" his mind somewhere far away. He was miles away from you, the bed was just as cold it was before he arrived, you felt alone.

A fleeting yet foolishly thought came over you. What if you became more like her, he would like you more, he would remember what you both had, but how can you be like a person you have never even met. You shouldn't change yourself because you were the one he fell for, right? You came to one conclusion that day... the only reason he is doing this is that she was perfect. Why else would he ruin the magnificent relationship you had built?

Thinking maybe you were not giving Namjoon enough, you prepared an amazing night. You greeted him when he got home, had dinner, and then took him to your room to make love. He pushed you away. "I'm not in the mood, y/n," then again why would he be if Namjoon had just been with her. Those few moments close to him were enough evidence as a whiff of her perfume made their way to your nose. Accepting defeat, you left him alone in what used to be your shared bedroom. He went into the bathroom to wash away his night with her, but he first received a call. In the hall, where you stood, you could hear their conversation. Him whispering compliments and promises of seeing each other again and her sweet words and beautiful laugh. It was torture, yet you endured it still having a bit of hope left.

One day you decided to visit him at work. You hadn't seen Namjoon in a few days since he left early in the morning and came late at night while you were "asleep". In the hallway, you stumbled upon Jin and he greeted you with a sad look. A part of you knew what it meant, still, you asked him if he knew where Namjoon was. Jin thought to himself that it was finally time you stopped running from what was happening, so he let you know they were in her office. With a nod, you walked along the halls of the big building until you stopped at your destination. With trembling hands, you slowly turned the knob and poked your head in. There they were on her sofa doing what he should be doing with you. Doing what you had done with him countless times on the other side of the building where his studio was located. Feeling an emptiness in you, you closed the door slowly and walked out of the building. Once you were in the car you drove home... or to the apartment seeing as it was no longer a home. Stepping into the apartment you felt a searing pain in your chest. You looked around at what you had built together and realized it no longer feels right. Sadness overcame you as tears streamed down your face and they would not stop for a while. Going up to the bedroom you saw your picture with Namjoon at your two-year anniversary you couldn't bear the sight of him. You don't know what you did to deserve this, but you have had enough. Just like that after months of silent suffering your sadness changed into anger.

Having made a decision, you packed your bags. You were tired of staying up waiting for him while he was with another. You were tired of the pitying looks his bandmates sent while they thought you wouldn't notice. You were tired of the lies and you were tired of beating yourself about something that was not your fault. It was his mistake. It was now clear that you love him, and he loved you. Thinking about it now they were perfect for each other. As protests continue across the country following the death of George Floyd—an unarmed Black man murdered at the hands of the police—some celebrities and influencers are using their online platforms to share the mic with Black voices. Putting their privilege to use, these celebrities are sharing resources in the fight to end racial injustice as well as giving Black activists space to tell their stories and promote conversations surrounding the movement to end police brutality. Among celebrities using their privilege to support #BlackLivesMatter is former Disney star Selena Gomez.

Gomez—who is one of the most followed celebrities on Instagram, with 180 million followers—has been using her social media to highlight and share the stories of Black activists, including a notable Instagram takeover by Ruby Bridges on June 14. Known as the first Black student to attend an all-white school in the South in 1960, Bridges became a civil rights icon at the age of 6. She took over Gomez’s Instagram account to share her experiences with racism in addition to never-before-seen footage from the day she entered first grade at New Orleans' William Frantz Elementary School.

After thanking Gomez for the opportunity to speak on her platform and to her followers directly, Bridges spoke of the reason she wanted to share the unseen footage now: "It will help you to understand why I think we Black and brown sisters and brothers need to stand united in this fight to save Black and brown lives,” she said on Instagram Live before sharing the video. “I want you to remember that it is all of our shared history. This is your legacy, too.”

The footage she shared came from the documentary "The Children Were Watching," which was produced by Drew Associates. In the video post's caption, Bridges shared that she wanted to "show the courage that our Black & Brown Families had during the Civil Rights Movement of 1960” in addition to sharing a story connected to her own. The documentary clips not only depict a young Bridges being escorted into her school by U.S. Marshals; they highlight the families who were against school integration as well as those who were in support.
