Just what do dolphins eat? In the Army you are told, “If it moves, salute it, it doesn’t move, paint it”. Applied to the dolphin, the saying might be “If it swims, eat it”. That’s not to say the dolphin will eat anything, and since it swallows its food whole, certainly not anything too large. It will also eat some things which don’t spend much time, if any time, swimming, such as crabs, mollusks, and other shell fish.

Chicken Pot Pie! :D
this is an actual recipe, but I have not tested it so have no idea if its good.
Ingredients
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 lb. bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 yellow onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tsp. fresh thyme
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. chicken stock
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 c. frozen peas
1/4 c. fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 (14-ounce) package all-butter puff pastry
1 large egg, beaten
Directions
Step 1Preheat oven to 425°F. Heat a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook, skin sides down, until golden brown and crisp, 6 to 8 minutes. Flip chicken and transfer skillet to the oven. Cook, until the internal temperature of the thickest thigh registers 165°F on an instant-read thermometer, 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer to a cutting board. Discard skins and bones, and chop chicken.
Step 2Place skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, carrots, celery, and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, just until crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Add flour and cook, stirring, 30 seconds. Slowly stir in stock and wine. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in chicken, peas, and parsley.
Step 3Cut puff pastry into a circle 1 inch larger than the outside rim of a cast-iron pie plate. (You may need to roll the dough on a lightly floured work surface to get it to size.) Place pie plate on a rimmed baking sheet. Transfer filling to pie plate and top with puff pastry; crimp edges. Brush puff pastry with egg. Bake, until golden brown, puffed, and cooked through, 20 to 25 minutes.

Todays bind! Fools Gold, by @tigers1o1 !!
Personally, I absolutely adore the paper and bookcloth combination on this bind. I got the cloth a while back for free and I’ve been waiting for a chance to use it, and then my friend Cam got me this paper as a gift! It seemed way too perfect to not use!
This was a very exciting bind, because it gave me the opportunity to try something completely new, gilded edges!!
Although it didn’t turn out perfect, I’m still super proud of how clean it ended up. Plus, I personally think the flaws make it better :D
The typesetting here was very exciting for me. A few months ago Ty held a tattoo contest for the fic, and I couldn’t not use them when I saw the two finalist designs. So I went ahead and contacted the artists, and they both said I could use them!!
Title page design: @eldrigeonsss
Chapter header design: @sheeeeeeeepherd
Thank you both again for letting me use your beautiful work!

not sure how to submit but anyway, opinions on horseshoe crabs??
Today on CHUNK! FUNK! GUNK! We rate
the HORSESHOE CRAB:
2/10 Chunk
10/10 Funk
0/10 Gunk
Horseshoe crab!! I love them! I see them (their molted shells) a lot on the beaches in Massachusetts and have gotten to see them crawling around in the water a few times before too! I love their weird little crab feet. They may be mostly shell, but their shell looks chunky so they can get a little chunk, as a treat. They’re so cool and unique, maximum funk. From my experience touching them, very dry. No gunk.
Overall: 9/10
So good and cute and wonderful and funky
