I don't care what Ryoko Kui says, this is my modern AU
Once again continuing my tradition of biting off more than I can chew and still swallowing, I've returned from my pre-holiday slump with a 3-character scene and no remaining fear of God.
I'll be honest, this was a huge struggle. Partially because I have no idea how to draw camp chairs, partially because for whatever reason I just couldn't seem to get the colors right. I can still see a few mistakes here that I'm really kicking myself over. But I had fun, and that's the most important part.

day 24
it is time once again for my accidental streak of Redrawing Aradiabot On Day 24. i swear i literally don't even set an alert for this or anything, it just works out like this every year. i hit january 24th and smth in my brain goes "huh what were we doing this time last year, anything good to revisit?" and i check the day 24 tag and im like OH YEAH. THE SAME DAMN ARADIABOT DRAWING I'VE DONE THE PAST HOWEVER MANY YEARS!!!

Do you have any tips about shading and lighting? Those two are ones I am struggling with a lot
The two biggest tips I can offer in regards to shading and lighting is to keep it consistent and think in 3D!
Keep it Consistent - Be mindful of the light source(s) and ensure the subjects are shaded according to their location around that light. Subjects may need to be shaded differently depending on where they are and how close/far they are from the light.
Think in 3D - Adding shadows to your piece is to help give your subjects a sense of depth, so make sure they don't look flat! Pay attention to where certain parts may bump out, sink in, or have certain textures such as being smooth or bumpy! Shadows are also used to help define the distance between parts that overlap.
Hope this helps! These tips are a bit broad, but if there's something more specific about shading/lighting you want me to hone in on, feel free to ask! ^^
