Did I ever tell you guys about the Merlin fic I started but didn’t finish that was college au but also not entirely? 

Arthur gets reincarnated in the modern day, and immortal Merlin magically de-ages himself and falsifies his way into the university reincarnated Arthur attends, but he just totally expects that Arthur has his past memories, so when he attaches himself like, “My lord, it’s me, your best buddy/loyal servant. I have come to find you in another lifetime, because our souls are two halves of a whole!” Arthur truly believes this scraggly guy is the world’s cringiest weeaboo and is obviously hitting on him. (Insisting everyone call him “Merlin” does not help this. “Ok Fate/StayTheNight take your pickup lines somewhere else.”)

Still, Merlin persists, and Arthur grows fond of him all over again. Except the whole time, he’s still under the impression that  1. Everything Merlin says is just LARPing 2. They’re probably dating by now, aren’t they...

Merlin is only partially aware of the first miscommunication, and he has no clue Arthur’s assumed the second at all.

Hijinks ensue. 

I just remembered that left behind fic, because I was reading a light novel, and it’s at the part where the shy girl feeds her love interest, as happens in anime but not real life to my knowledge. There was a scene in the fic where Merlin and Arthur are at a bakery, and Merlin’s going on about magic (hmm, that card game sounds more convoluted the more he talks about it), and Arthur thinks to himself, he’s going to meet Merlin at his level, he’s going to show Merlin the kind of affection Merlin’s interested in. And then we have, to Arthur’s gag-inducing, death-wishing mortification and Merlin’s complete bafflement, a date-not-date of Arthur feeding Merlin cake. This scene both made and killed the fic for me. It was the scene to make all other scenes worth it, but when it came down to it, I could never write it nearly as funny as it is in my head. Something like that deserves awkward comedy writing of only the highest grade. It’s better in my imagination than on ao3.

Hi 👋 guys, i don’t have too much to say today except the fact that This #cratedigging thing turned me officially to a hoarder, every record is an opportunity to hear something you never heard before and I can’t pass on a single occasion whatever the #genre is. Lately I’ve been gathering a lot of #countryrecords and the #recordoftheday like many to come will be focused on the genre known as #countrymusic . Here’s a valuable information if you’re about to come dig in #europe : #countrymusic is cheap as f*ck. I believe in the power of numbers, I listened this #album 3 times and coincidentally I found out that this is the 3rd official release under #cbs of the artist in question in #1978 , which makes this #musicalpiece a 43 years old artefact that travelled the time without a single wrinkle. Well, we can definitely say that #ageisnothingbutanumber in this case but a 31 years #janeolivor knew exactly what she was doing with her voice, you can find innocence and maturity in her expression. The 3rd track of the A Side #hessofine is a perfect example of what you get when an enamored teenage girl talk about her crush which is in total opposition with the theme of her next song #solitaire .
