reading up on more Conner comics and I think it's sad that at the heart of it, his story is that of a boy forced to grow up too soon. Everything from "Don't call me Superboy" (because he wants to be SuperMAN) to the way he's constantly groomed and objectified by older characters and the narrative itself (which weirdly continues into the Young Justice cartoon), to the way he tries to emulate a sense of self from the idea he has of those around him (his performative machismo as a rock star superhero to wondering whether he's more like Superman or Lex Luthor).
Even when they give him stories where he goes to school and lives some kind of normal teen life-there's never a big enough acknowledgement that it's what he needs more than anything (or they fall into the trappings of still treating him like he's older than he is). This kid skipped out on his childhood and popped out as a confused teenager, but narratively he's treated like a younger hunky Superman.
There's a lot of compelling story there! But I think since it's really popular in fandom to re-imagine Conner as POC, to be really careful about how all those themes get amplified and re-contextualized with racial identity. Being forced to grow up too soon is a common experience among POC and especially Black kids with how they get profiled through racism. Just all things to consider! I feel like when fanon just treats POC Conner as a re-skin of white Conner we're in danger of repeating a worse version of canon's problems.

But by his own legal standards Florida governor Ron Desantis should be going to jail, right?

Literally why aren’t bisexuals just allowed to be bisexual. You’re in a “straight” relationship and suddenly your entire relationship is called into question, you’re a default cheater apparently, you’re gross and icky and tainted from past relationships, you don’t face the same homophobia in society somehow bc you aren’t a *real 100%* queer. Bi women are fetishized and abused and bi men are tossed aside and forgotten or completely misidentified based on any perceived deviation from gender roles. Your entire identity is actually transphobic bc bi means two and how dare you not accommodate nb people when the identity LITERALLY ALWAYS HAS. Shut up AHUT UP.

“What hospital…? Hold on, let me write this down… No, I’ll be there as soon as I can,” Marinette said, with a nod trying to hold back a sigh of resignation. “I’d rather be there to tell you all of this in person, honestly.”
------
Or Marinette is shocked to discover that she's listed as Lila's emergency contact.

Most important: Ellie and Gabby keep their relationship. They can have issues, but I hope it works out in the end
Either Ellie or Gabby are winners, or at least finalists
Aiden Doesn't win. I like the guy, but your boyfriend won last time. You're fine. Get a job or something
Alec continues to be Incredibly Divorced
Good things happen for Grett. Just like, in general

Autistic white person: "I love The Good Doctor! Shaun is so cute! I've always had a special interest in medicine and I can relate to him so much!"
Autistic people of color: "The stereotype of the autistic savant genius cute white boy has done a great disservice to autistic people of color since the beginning of autism in media representations. The show also tokenizes people of color, as well as continue perpetuating stereotypes of us in academic and professional environments. Oh, and by the way, the creators of the show, including the lead actor, openly and actively work with and support Autism Speaks."
Autistic white person: "How dare you invalidate my experiences! Autism is a spectrum! Every autistic person is different! Autism manifests differently for all of us! We are all valid!"
Other autistic white people: "Bruh, the show promotes and collaborates with Autism Speaks. The people in it and behind it participate in their events and raise money for them."
Autistic white person: "Oh. Well, then I suppose that's pretty bad."
