KYLE HAS A VICTIM MENTALITY. PERIOD.

i don’t feel bad for kyle one bit bc literally 98% of the problems he gets himself into are HIS fault. if u look at nearly every cartman vs kyle episode you’ll notice kyle wouldn’t have gotten himself into that situation with cartman or whatever if he hadn’t been purposely trying to start shit with him. tonsil trouble? kyle started the fight to begin with by laughing at cartman for having aids. imaginationland? kyle was the one who signed a fucking legally binding contract that he had to suck cartman’s balls. le petit tourette? kyle was the one who was going out of his way to try to prove that cartman doesn’t have tourettes, if kyle would’ve just stayed out of it cartman wouldn’t have made all those anti-semitic comments and have decided to go on dateline just to get back at kyle. -i’m far from the first person to point this out but there’s a lot of weird undertones between shuichi and food. he doesn’t eat breakfast, he complains about gaining weight easily in salmon mode, and once he says he would literally rather die than eat greasy food. him being raised by celebrities only adds to the concern,,,i would like to submit shuichi for the “gains weight post-trauma as a sign of Healing” trope pls

-the horse a message makes its appearance!! i’ve seen some people say kokichi wrote it, but i feel like tsumugi (well. probably one of the monokubs lets be real) wrote the og message and he just added to it. For The Funny.

-”so, you found that message while you were out chasing some bug? wooow, gonta! you did it! i knew i could rely on you since the moment we met!” “what? really?” “yep! so you should work for me!” gonta is smart enough to be useful and naive enough for kokichi to feel safe, so he latches on FAST. notably, tsumugi is the first one to be worried about it - i wonder if kokichi is afraid of bugs for a reason...?

-for a liar, kokichi seems real determined to make the others face uncomfortable truths. everyone stutters and shuffles awkwardly when shuichi walks in, but he loudly asks if he’s not wearing the hat because kaede is dead. he says to gonta’s face that he’ll be murdered if he keeps being so gullible, and then he mocks them all for “banning the k-word”. it’s interesting, and consistent with when he says he doesn’t like people lying to themselves. (and also with him being petty and bitter about everyone else’s lies being just fine).

It really, really pisses me off when people steal work from other writers. You are not a writer if you steal from other people. It took you moments to steal something from another writer that could've taken them anywhere from hours to weeks to years to write. I don't think a lot of people who aren't creators of creative content (art, writing, gifs, etc) truly understand how devasting, disheartening and infuriating it is to have your work stolen. Not to mention traumatic.

I speak from experience. I tried to make a webseries years back, got the pilot shot and everything and then the editor held my work hostage because he wanted it for himself (wanted to add and cut what he wanted) and me being green had shared all my scripts with him. I had to go to a solicitor and threaten him with legal action. Thankfully, I had got him to sign a contract. It was one of the most traumatic experiences I have ever been through. I couldn't even go through with filming the rest of the series, something I was so in love with before. I am overly cautious about sharing now and still haven't worked up the courage to post on here (with over 50 fics over 2yrs) since the youngm*neymill fiasco.

I am so sorry this happened to you. It may seem trivial to some who want to defend their faves or friends because it's "just fanfiction" but it's YOUR words. YOUR hours. YOUR effort. It's YOURS. And no one should feel entitled to even lift a sentence of it. FUCK THEM THIEVES. They are cowards. They could've asked for help, asked for pointers, confided in someone about their insecurities, taken a break, read a book, done a hundred other things to improve their own writing. To me, folks do that stuff for attention. They think they deserve the accolades or praise they see others getting and want to skip the process to get to the cream without struggle or effort and I truly hate that for them.

Sorry for the rant but this is triggering. You have produced swaths of quality work and you shouldn't have to worry that posting will make you vulnerable to such a gross violation. It sucks the fun out of everything.

Like… she tagged me in the freakin fic… the audacity that takes bro sksksjs then, when I confronted her and showed her screen shots of the shit she lifted from me, she lied to my freakin face about it. Literally told me that she started her fic before I posted mine… but yet had the exact same intro/set up/characters/lines/warnings/premise as my fic did… that I posted a year ago… And then she posted a fic the day after I confronted her lmaooo as if our entire conversation never happened. As if she hadn’t already plagiarized 3 fics from myself and someone else and had been confronted by both of us (all within like a month, by the way)

I mean… I guess content creators kinda do sign this invisible contract with the internet when we post publicly, cuz any and everybody can then copy and paste our stuff and put their name on it because it’s out there in the void. I just thought more people would have some freakin integrity and wouldn’t want to ruin the one thing we find pleasure in, which is fandom. And sure, I’ve blocked buckybarnesplumwhore and her main blog, but because tumblr is a joke, she can still log on to desktop and see my blog and fics unfiltered. AN: Lmaooo the game isn’t out yet but I have some Thoughts on how the Player could possibly play a role in the game. I’ve only played the demo but it’s super fire lmao.

The credits finally roll and the credits theme’s final notes slowly putters off and then…

Nothing.

The curtains have fallen on the main stage and you’re left behind with nothing but the darkness all around you. You lingered there in the silence for god knows how long (had it been seconds? Minutes? Hours? Days? Years?) before you begin to move again.

Something flickers in front of you like the blinking lights of a broken sign and you focus. You stare.

At the corner of your eyes, you could see a faded out option: Exit. A part of you hesitates, considers it for the briefest second, before the selfish, greedy part of you dragged your attention back to the brighter options in front of you.

No. Not yet.

“This again? How many more times do we have to do this?” You tensed at his voice as it echoes out from behind you. “Don’t you have anything better to do?”

The question tickled something at the deepest corner of your memories. Somebody had asked you that same question before, hadn’t they? And if you could recall correctly… This was almost the same kind of situation that you and he are in right now. A story with a similar aesop about choices and the power of being able to determine your own fate and future...

You reach out your hand, fingers stretching out towards the New Game box in front of you. The tips of your fingers brushed the cold surface of the box before his hand grabbed your wrist.

“Aren’t you also tired of doing this same loop over and over again?” He asked you, a weariness to his voice that also had you feeling the weight of the metaphorical rocks on your shoulders and stomach.

You looked up. Brown meets bluegreenbrownblack—

Do you even remember what you look like anymore?

Has there even been an actual you before all of this?

Conrad shakes you a bit and you jolt back to yourself. You looked away from him, not answering his questions. It was rather ironic for you that when it’s only during these moments that you truly have the freedom to speak your mind that you lose the will to speak. Was it out of shame? Guilt? Or perhaps your pride choking you up from the inside?

You don’t know.

You don’t understand anything anymore.

“Come on,” he gently tugs you down into sitting on the ‘floor’ with him, the options that had been waiting for you earlier flickered out as you went along with his hold. “Let’s just… talk for a bit.”

The ‘floor’, if you could even call it that, was cold but not to the point it was freezing. It was just… there. For all you knew, you could be floating in the void but it wasn’t like things like that mattered anything in here, in the in-between. You hugged your knees to your chest while Conrad made himself comfortable beside you.

Time passed as the silence stretched out between the two of you.

“You can be really stubborn, you know?” He wryly said, after he probably realized that you had no intention of speaking first. “Whenever you’re like this, you sort of remind me of Gus.”

“I’m not going to stop,” you interrupted him before he got too sentimental for your own taste. “If you’re planning on doing an I know you’ve got some good in you speech, save your breath.”

You valiantly ignored the sharp gaze that was digging a hole at the side of your head. You tried not to let it bother you.

It’s an odd feeling to be seen for who you truly are. Even though you yourself don't know who you truly are.

“I know. I’ve watched you long enough to know that you’ll keep doing this until you either find whatever it is that you’re looking for or you grow bored of this… game.” the resigned acceptance practically dripped from his mouth, “Also I stopped trying to ask you to stop after a few loops, remember?”

Do you remember? If you were honest with yourself, the in-betweens have started to blur together the more you restarted the game. But he had a point, you’re not going to stop. You don’t even know if you could even remember how to stop anymore.

“You do know that after a while… you’re gonna run out of new lines to discover, right?” His voice softened. “You’re gonna discover everything that you can discover within the code of this game and you’ll see every ending, every outcome to your choices, every little secret… and then what?”

That’s the question now, isn’t it? What will happen to you when it’s all over?

“... It doesn’t matter,” you simply said as you stood up once more. “I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. What’s important… Is that I see through what I’ve started.”

The options flickered back into existence right in front of your eyes, this time you raised your hand without a single bit of hesitation in your bones.

After all, anything is better than facing your own truth, right?

“You can’t keep running away,” he sighs, you heard him stand up and walk a little distance away from you. He never did like the feeling that came from these resets.

A part of you bristles like an irritated cat.

“I’m not running away,” you said as you firmly pressed the New Game box.

It rang out with a bell-like sound that seemed to toll as an omen. The world began to flicker around them and you could feel Conrad shake his head at your stubbornness.

“The Bastion essence really suits you at times like these,” you heard him muttering under his breath and you rolled your eyes. “Try to play nice with everyone this time around, yeah? Be kinder to Gus.”

“No promises, loverboy,” you drawled as you closed your eyes. “Don’t hit your head on your way out of the void.”

“Haha, tall joke very funny,” Conrad’s sarcastic laugh was fading away as if he was on a ship that was drifting farther and farther away with each second. “... I hope you find the answers you’ve been searching for this time, friend.”

You huff out a humorless laugh.

You hope so too.

“Take care of yourself, Conrad,” you whisper and yet somehow… he heard it too.

“You take care of yourself too… ☐̢҉́͘͠☐̕҉☐̀͡☐̷̡̨͡☐̵̸̡,” and then there was one.

Alright… let’s pick this up again right from the very beginning.

you made me sad with your post, we had so much faith in wtfock doing amazing things, but this season showed that faith was undeserved. i mean, the signs were in s2 and s3 but we neglected them because of the amazing work of the actors. the producers, writers and etc do not understand the meaning of skam.

Some days I’m angry, some other days I’m sad, because they have some amazing characters and some talented, amazing actors in their hands (👈 This is what I still love btw, despite all my angry rantings ❣️❣️). Ok listen, we all know I wanted a sweet too good to be true reunion between Anakin and Ahsoka and I'm like damn what could have been BUT the reunion was *chefs kiss* perfect. Also the first thing he asks her is if she's ok! Poor Ani was so happy to see her and Ahsoka was just not playing! I didn't get my hug tho so im gonna have to force choke someone but this was all just incredible. Ahsoka is still upset over what happened with the Jedi, and after hanging with people who helped her understand the public view of the Jedi she truly wants nothing to do with them. She views the order as corrupt (which lets be real, it is) Anakin and Obi-wan are still apart of the order who betrayed her. I feel like she was letting her resentment towards the other Jedi get in the way of how honestly excited she probably was to see Anakin again. Anakin is excited and just so happy to see her but I think he's still low-key mad she left and moved on and grew up with out him. Also I think he was so happy to see her he like forgot that the Jedi order literally sentenced Ahsoka to die and blamed a major crime on her without ever hearing her side or believing in her. But this is why I love Dave Filoni, Like everything is so consistent and just makes sense character wise, if they had a happy reunion and Anakin was like “I understand why you left” it wouldn't make any sense cause he's about to turn to the dark side in LITERALLY less than a week. And it wouldn't make any sense because of what we see from the two of them in rebels. Like DAMN it was the perfect mix of heartwarming and heartbreaking and I will continue forever to be sad and loose sleep over Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano and their beautiful relationship and what could have been if the Jedi order hadn't failed them both so miserably. What adds to the heartache is they both think they still have time and will get to see each other later to catch up and so there's no need for a proper goodbye... SO YEP IT WASN'T WHAT I WANTED BUT IT WAS BETTER THAN I IMAGINED!!!

Feeling a million things for a one Yashiro Taku as of late... I don’t even know if I can put it all into words. It’s 2:30AM, I have a 10AM client tomorrow, and I am working pretty much solidly through until 7PM. I really don’t have the time even to write all my feelings out. 

But well...I’ll write them out anyway, ‘cause I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep otherwise lmfao 

I’ve been feeling kind of stressed and anxious and also kind of lonely and depressed the last couple of days, but I’ve been hanging in there... by listening to old Murashiro radio episodes, and listening to or watching other miscellaneous Taku-related content... which has resulted in a massive influx of feels, haha. 

I guess it’s to be expected, though... It’s probably been a little under a year since my last massive Taku phase. I kind of rotate through my top three every few months, but for a long time I just was never really in the mood for Taku content, so I had started to wonder if I’d maybe finally ended my Taku phase...

Well, never fear @ self LOL I guess I will never get over him (thank god) lmaooo 

I think at this point I’ve come to realize/understand the things that keep me coming back to the same three seiyuu over and over again; they each offer something different, but each of those things are either important to me or things I admire/wish I had in myself, hence why I end up following three instead of sticking with one. 

With Taku, his positivity and earnestness have always stood out to me. Of course, his visual specs are incredibly high, and I’ve always found his smile to be as clear and bright as the shining sun on a cool autumn day... But when it comes to his skills as a modern-day seiyuu, watching him at events and listening to him during radios, it’s clear how much of a forward-facing, positive person he is, and how much he applies that to his work. He’s always striving to be better, to learn more, to perfect his craft, and after all these years, it really, really shows. His earnestness too is a strong point I’ve come to notice and appreciate over the years, and it goes hand in hand with his positivity, combining forces to become his strength. One could also say he’s tenacious and patient, always biding his time, quietly studying his peers and absorbing his surroundings when no one’s looking, so that he can become the best version of himself. 

Naturally (as a voice actor), he’s always had a lovely voice, and his voice acting skills have always been decent, but over the years his acting really and truly has improved. His voice has always felt warm to me...something that vibrates comfortably inside of my soul and warms me from the inside out, but also carries a kind of brightness and lightness to it...almost like a top layer? I don’t really know how to explain it, but it’s just a voice pitch and combination of tones that I absolutely love. In the end though, as much as I love his voice, the thing that always ends up standing out the most for me when it comes to Taku has always been his character and personality, particularly the way he connects with his peers, his colleagues, his characters, his works, and his fans. It’s the warmth of heart, the earnestness that he puts into every aspect of his work that really makes him shine for me, and I really appreciate the warmth I always feel from whatever he does. 

Probably the main things that stand out to me now in terms of like...concrete technical skills are of course his voice work, but also his conversational skills. Listening to his radio programs, or watching/listening to when he guests on other programs, or when he’s hosting events, it’s plain as day how much he’s grown and evolved. Really, his many, many years of working in the radio industry with bayFM have truly paid off. He’s become such a good listener and such a good reader of the room, and he always has good things to say, be it serious, full of warmth, or lighthearted and comical. I think this aspect of his technical skill has probably been what’s grown the most, and I’d like to think is perhaps something that has also become a part of who he is as a person. But, that last bit is perhaps just my own wishful thinking, haha. 

In terms of his actual voice work, he’s really improved and polished his craft. He freely and flexibly uses an impressively wide range of tones and voices now. The depth of emotion he can convey with his acting has gotten better, too. He’s not typecast into the same sort of roles all of the time anymore, which is also always a good sign, and he’s consistently been getting into series that are either quite popular or are long, on-going franchises. Even if they’re not for the main character, the fact that he’s in them and always returning is a good sign. Then there’s his skill with character songs... He’s gotten really, really good at them. Every character he has, he manages to sound just different enough that you can identify the character and feel the difference in personality and tone. Before, perhaps due in part to often getting typecast into similar characters, so it perhaps felt harder to feel the difference, but these days, his range has become quite impressive, even when it comes to his singing. It’s awesome, honestly, to hear the wide range of voices he can use now. 

Back in January, he proclaimed on a show he was guesting on that his wish for 2020 was that he would be striving to become his final form, or the best version of himself, so to speak. I really and truly think he’s taking that to heart and hit the ground running in 2020. It’s been a spectacular year when I look back at all that he’s done and continues to do this year, despite the setbacks the pandemic may have caused. Naturally, the previous couple of years were also insane for him (what with everything that led up to the photobook and all lol), but it seems this year he’s finally been able to make huge strides in his actual line of work, which has been fulfilling to witness, as a fan. 

For many, many long years now I’ve felt kind of bad that it seemed I only liked seiyuu with pretty faces... But of my most recent and longest-running (4-5 years now) trio of favorites, Enokiya proved himself to be full of acting talent (and not to mention also full of passion for the technical skill and art of acting) the last few years, and continues to impress and climb ever higher. Shugon has always been something to behold when it came to music, and then finally at long last he had his artist debut. And so that left Taku... who I really wondered if I really did only like because of his face. Those couple of years (2017~2019), there was so much focus on how much of an “ikemen” he is, that I doubted myself. I knew deep in my heart I ultimately liked his personality and his natural speaking voice first and his acting second, but even still it got hard trying to defend myself when he’s so handsome, haha... Granted, it shouldn’t matter what other people think, but it feels nice to see more and more tangible growth now on the actual seiyuu side of things that I can share with others in a way that doesn’t have to take away from his credibility as a seiyuu. That all being said, I still appreciate a handsome face, suave moves on stage, and cute antics, and I know there ain’t no shame in that. Taku’s still the number one little devil who can totally murder me at moment’s notice whenever he’s on stage, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just check out his live performances when it comes to SideM and B-PROJECT... you’ll get what I mean. (;

my experience at tlt musical

hi friends! as you guys may know, last night i had the chance to go to the lightning thief musical and it was so much fun! since i need to babble about how amazing it was and all my favorite parts, i decided tumblr is the way to go :’) under the cut because i have no clue how long it’ll be, but as it’s 1:30am and i am pretty tired, i’ll try to make sure this actually makes sense

i’m probably so biased because i love the song, but the campfire song was so good. grover popping up and yelling “my turn! my turn! IT’S MY TURN!” then he cried and annabeth, silena, and katie all tried to comfort him, but the second the chorus came back he was dancing again! so cute!

the dancing in the campfire song just gets me too!

okay good kid is when i cried a decent bit. chris portrays so much emotion in this song. i was so moved but his singing, his facial expressions, everything. i knew it was going to emotional but i didn’t truly grasp the magnitude until i was there! (also because mari asked, percy did not say fuck. #LetPercySayFuck2019)

killer quest was such a fun song! the original trio getting excited about leaving! so cute!

okay during intermission we got the announcement that kristin was being replaced with sarah beth because kristin blew her voice out during act 1, but she finished the act before pulling out which i think is so cool! i was pretty disappointed but kristin obviously knows her limits and her health comes before anything else.

lost! was so good. i love that song so much and it was the first time sarah beth sang as annabeth and it was good!

i could write an entire essay on the last day of summer. an entire essay. luke’s reprise always gets me, but seeing james perform it live. chills. actual chills. james is so crazy talented everyone, hype him tf up.

OKAY. THE PERCABETH SCENE. i wasn’t sure how it was going to be (i was so looking forward to kristin and chris) but sarah beth and chris killed it! THEIR NOSES BRUSHED, PEOPLE. I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO KISS. 100%. ANNABETH CUPPED PERCY’S CHEEKS IN HER HANDS AND THEIR. NOSES. BRUSHED.

bring on the monsters had me in tears again! it was such a great end to the musical, friends. words cannot even describe how fitting the end was.

and then, of course i stage doored.

wow this is blurry BUT sarah beth told me that she loves signing books! i was the only one back there who had the book instead of the program so i felt really stoked to be the only one to bring my copy of the lightning thief

ryan was wearing a medusa shirt and i complimented it and he was so excited i noticed. he also told me he has a centaur shirt lmaooo

and finally jorrel. he is so sweet! my hands were shaking when he got to me and i apologized and he was like “oh my god no! you’re fine! you’re fine!” he is the actual sweetest. i then asked him who runs the twitter account and he said they won’t tell him. i told him how they roasted me on my birthday so i thought it was him so he was like “they roast me all the time! i wouldn’t do that to myself!” and i pointed out he was in the show so he deserved it instead of me but he was like “they do it all the time though!” jorrel stayed out the longest with us and kept hugging everyone and ugh! i love him!

now my book is all signed up and i absolutely love it :’)

so, to sum up a very long post, if you have the opportunity to see the musical, please do. the musicians and cast pour their entire heart into it and it was so evident through this performance. it made me so happy. words cannot describe how i felt while watching it and how i feel now! my heart is actually soaring. i cannot articulate how amazing it was to be immersed in the show and to be surrounded by other fans. this was what we deserved from the movies! just... if you have the means/resources to watch it, do it. no hesitation. i highly recommend going to see it, friends.

I’m just curious What’s your opinion on Morgencest? On books and show

Okay so I keep getting this ask and ignoring it because ngl it always ends up feeling like bait (no offense nonnie, this i just Disc Horse season and I’m Paranoid af) but I guess it’s not fair to the shippers who follow me and have to deal with my seesawing bullshit so here’s the receipts:

The bottom line is: I didn’t always like it, in fact it used to make me quite uncomfortable, but a lot of my friends are into it in a way I can totally get on board with, and tbh I didn’t think it was worth the damage to my blood pressure to try to watch this season without at least having an open mind or being into the idea and the possibilities. I’m a sebjace shipper at heart but I’m always down for an ot3 and I think 3b has been fun and interesting so far, and whatever happens I’m along for the ride.

I like dark shipping–if you’ve poked around my ao3 page outside my SH pseud you will find some Extremely Weird kylux fanfiction you’d probably know that, also honestly I consider some of my shit pretty dark. However, I do kind of find that sometimes clary/jon shipping becomes a little more rape-y (sorry sorry I don’t wanna be an ass but it is kind of true if you scroll through ao3) than what I’m personally into reading, so like most presentations of that is a major squick or turn off for me. If I’m going to explore them I want it to be on….more or less equal footing or at least (no offense) a little more interesting than “man is entitled to girl, rapes her” because well….that’s kind of everywhere and not really the dynamic I want to read or explore. That being said there are interesting ways of subverting that, but most of the time it’s not my cup of tea, ya feel? At that point I’d rather they just play an ultra-competitive game of Mario Kart (clary wins. there’s no other way).

((Also, won’t lie to yall, I’m pretty firm on the “jonathan is a bottom” preference so wow this is top/bottom discourse AND incest discourse in one ask! I’m really asking for it lmaooo. anyway point is most people write jonathan as a truly shitty dom and it makes my soul weep. i did not sign up for knockoff 50sog.))

I think it’s important to say I don’t judge that or think anyone who writes/reads noncon is evilbadwrong–quite the opposite. I don’t think any topic should be verboten or banned, and the reasons for writing or reading that content or any kind of dark content about fictional characters and worlds are varied and personal. However, there are tropes and dynamics that I personally don’t like, and Morgencest tends to hit on a lot of them.

That being said–I’m totally for making my own content that works in a dynamic I want to explore and reading what others have to say. I mean a lot of what I write has a dubcon safety warning on it anyway so take the moral posturing above (i really hope it doesn’t come off that way) with a grain of salt, but like. I’m a sebjace shipper at heart but I like the clary/jon dynamic (and am really obsessed currently with a clary/jon/jace sort of deal like. YALL) so it’s probably unlikely that i’ll churn out 10,000 jon/clary fics bUT i do really like genderbent fem!jon so I may yeet out a lot of that at some point idk.
