Crescent City + ACOTAR Theory

So, like I said earlier I started googling the meaning of names and fell into a mythology hole, kinda.

And in mythology Theia had three kids. Helios, the god of the sun, Selene, the goddess of the moon and Eos, the goddess of dawn and Eos had a consort, Orion.

Now, I already formed this theory half once without any hints but let's remember canon (I don't have screenshots of the books where it was said, I'm sorry)

But it is said that Theia had two daughters and it's theorized that she was the Queen of the dusk court.

This is the description of Helena (from CC wiki): She had night coloured hair and golden skin that poured starlight and shadows. This description makes me think of the Night Court and that Helena had ties to the Night Court. Which makes me think that Helena is Selene.

Then we know that there is an unnamed, second daughter. I think that daughter is going to be Helios in this comparison, but I think her name will be Hemera and she will have ties to the Day Court.

Then there is a daughter left: Eos. Who isn't mentioned in Crescent City. There are just two daughters mentioned but I think there will be a third daughter, Aidas' daughter (I think she will be called Aurora) and from this line is Bryce descended. Through hundreds or maybe even thousands of generations, she is related to Aidas. And in that bloodline, at some point, it descends into the human Archeron bloodline.

+ in Mythology Eos consort is Orion.

Finishing bro Tarquin x Hunting bro Tamlin... you get it. Now I want all the seasonal court high lords (Tarquin, Eris, Tamlin, Kallias) on a hunting trip together to build relations between courts

The seasonal high lords don’t get along that well, it’s mostly bickering and awkward silence at first. It was tarquin’s idea to hold a joint hunting trip, something about how tamlin didn’t have any friends, but he regretted ever sharing the thought. Tamlin was pacing like a caged beast, Kallias was hiding in a tent, and Eris was making increasingly incendiary jokes at everyone else’s expense. When Eris said something particularly hateful—some mention of Tamlin never finding a female to like his beast form—Tarquin had enough. He summoned a wave of water powerful enough to douse their campfire as well as Autumn’s High Lord. The sight of Eris drenched from head to toe was what tipped the scales.

Tamlin actually laughed.

The sound coaxed Kallias out, who shared a chuckle at Eris’ expense. The male dried off with a burst of heat, a murderous look in his eyes. “Now that we’re all done ignoring each other,” he hissed. “Are we actually going to kill something? Or should I make myself the Seasonal High Lord?”

Tarquin smiled a bit, shouldering a quiver of arrows. “Come on, we came out here to hunt dinner, not each other.”

Kallias was the first to follow him, then Tamlin, though he stuck to the shadows. Eris stomped behind them, muttering about how they were making too much noise to catch anything anyway.

Tarquin wasn’t surprised when the weekend ended and none of them caught a thing. Eris had simply rolled his eyes when they failed. Meanwhile, Tamlin had gone off alone to find their meals, returning quietly every evening.

Tarquin was surprised when Tamlin requested a hunt the following month. And Eris concurred. Kallias had suggested the Winter court as the location, since they hadn’t had much luck in Spring. The month after that, Eris offered the Autumn Court as their hunting grounds. By the fourth month, it had become a tradition, rotating courts.

No matter which court they visited, the four of them never managed to catch a thing. That may have been due to the time spent drinking around the fire, rather than traipsing through the woods, though.

#this english final is off the walls bonkers. i was given creative freedom and i fear i have flown too close to the sun #there's breaking bad references even though i've literally never watched the show #i figured out vitals mechanics even though i haven't played among us since middle school #but i accidentally broke among us lore super hard by not knowing that polaris is a star in a different solar system #which at least implies that among us takes place in a different solar system. according to my space nerd partner #so me making my little among us guy a criminal part of a court case AGAINST THE SUPREME COURT totally fucks up the lore #so it's now an au when i was trying SO HARD to be canon compliant #2nd among us fic for an english final #that's the tag now. i hate that this exists #and yet i do it to myself #tbf what i hate more is that the original among us fic i wrote for an english final earlier this year has some REALLY good lines #but the worst pacing i have ever written. like the pacing is so bad i can't fully reread it. i cringe too hard #but i have lines that go hard and it's for a FUCKING AMONG US FANFICTION. DO YOU FEEL MY PAIN #that applies to this among us fic too :(((( and the lines are good but some have to go but i want to share :((( and so this post exists
