It’s the kiddos!

These four are kingdings fankids me and @bernardo-draws-and-cries have had for a while (as in, Bethany and Lancer exist since 2016, Belle and Aster since 2017). I decided to do some small redesigns for them!

Or for their humanized forms, at least. It’s been 7 years and I don’t feel comfortable in delving on their more canon accurate versions (Bê has them)

They’re part of an au we have together, HCWT, they also appear on other aus that we’ve delved into in the many years of kingdings brainrot we had. But HCWT is their main place. That being said, there is a lot of stuff that is muddy/vague since it’s such an old au that we haven’t touched in a few years, and also we’ve done so many iterations of it that it’s hard to know what is canon now. I’m going to be kinda basing it on the original fanfic we had for it for a lot of the basic stuff. (it was written in portuguese so not super accessible for most people reading this)

They all have font names, I’m still surprised that I managed to find fonts for Bethany and Belle after they were created (Bethany Script and La Belle Aurore respectively)

Also they all appear in different ages in the au(s), these are just the most seen ones. Bethany also is shown a lot when she’s five, and both Belle and Aster when they’re older. Sometimes also they are in different age order and stuff, but I’m just going to talk about the HCWT version on the ages shown here. There’s a lot of old stuff for a lot of the other aus in my artblog that i never shown here, This blog actually was originally an ask blog for an underfell au where only Aster and Belle existed.

- Bethany is the oldest, both in creation order and in universe. Her childhood is a bit of a muddy area since we haven’t touched that part of the au in a while, but for now, she was born a few years before the pacifist ending happens. In HCWT we have her being the next one in line for running human-monster deals after Asgore retires from that, I don’t really see Asriel or Chara being too excited to do that, but she’s pretty up for the task.

(Chara and Asriel are brought back in the au also)

She’s a pretty no nonsense kind of person, but she lets herself be a goof around her sibilings, friends and nibilings/cousins (thats a worm hole im not willing to deal with right now). She also has a best friend called Daniel, not pictured here, and she’s a bit of the voice of reason of the two, but she’s often part of the shenanigans. They end up living together a while after.

Very strong also, took it after Asgore, could lift all her sibilings + Gaster all at once.

- Lancer is a bit funny to share with people after Deltarune released, I’m still a bit shocked at this coincidence. Not a lot of what he does is set in stone, a pretty wild card in this sense. Nice, kind kid, helps a lot on Asgore’s flower shop after school and on weekends. He’s blind and got a guide dog named Jack, which does end up being how he meets his girlfriend Berry, who was working as a volunteer when he went to get Jack. I got a very soft spot for him, he’s just a little guy, sunshine impersonated.

- Belle is a big book worm since small, it came from a way to pass the time when she can’t do much physically demanding things, like Aster does. So she spends a lot of time with Gaster, becoming a bit of an assistant to him as she gets older. And while she does look and act pretty chill most of the time, she is an anger bomb, very short tempered. Scary angry little goat-skele. Years later she begins dating a human named Barbara.

- Aster! My baby boy! Liddle man! I love him so much. He’s a very athletic kid, loves sports, grows up to be a manlet, almost a himbo, but he’s pretty smart. They love each other, but he and Belle are the two most likely to butt heads around the house, being the two most hot headed ones in there. He also begins dating some years down the line, with a spider mosnter named Epaminondas (Epa for short).

This is just the tip of the iceberg of HCWT, there’s a lot more in it, but I wanted to focus on these four lil fellas :] Probably not going to share much more stuff about it, if at all here, but this was fun to revisit!

Thanks friend!! I'm so excited to answer this! I love talking about my ships as I'm going to add a small explanation to each of these ships.

Brawler/Hoodlum = A+: OTP

(If you're not familiar with Akudama Drive, it's an original 12 episode anime made by the creator of Danganronpa.)

The main reason why I enjoy this ship is because of the character dynamic between Brawler and Hoodlum. They're basically Mondo/Ishimaru from Danganronpa 1 just in a different font. Brawler is a himbo through and through. A violent one, yes, but a himbo none the less. Hoodlum starts off as a low-ranking, cowardly criminal who likes to talk big and boost how "badass" he is, despite reality. At first, Hoodlum clearly clung to Brawler because he was the strongest out their Akudama group in terms of pure, raw strength. However, over the course of the series, it's clear that Hoodlum and Brawler form a mutual understanding and respect towards one another, which results in Hoodlum clearly having a massive crush on Brawler. It's really sweet and wholesome element in the series.

Vil/Rook = A+: OTP

What else can I say about this ship that I haven't already talked about in past posts? I am in love with their easy and comfort around one another. It's obvious that Vil and Rook both understand the other on a deep level, one that does not need to be stated aloud. Both bring out the best in one another while also challenging the other to keep growing to be the best person they can be. Truly, Vil and Rook are the dorm leader and vice leader with Their Shit Most Together. They're a Power Couple through and through.

its day of the mother, lets talk about kids right tf now:

Vittoria and Risotto only have one kid: Martorana

a cutie: white hair that looks whiter with his olive skin, black sclera and his mom's green eyes, wears circle frame glasses, mostly seen in suspenders. Shy little thing, bookworm and likes to stay inside to read his fictional stories.

However, he has the risotto genes so he WILL grow to be 6'7"

Light academia aesthetic. Warm creams, browns, dark greys, eggshells, etc. Drinking tea in a library or outside studying flowers/plants.

Only the fluffiest and softest blankets for him thank you, Vittoria knits the best in his opinion.

He gets nervous easily, pls be patient with him.

He was bullied once...That was before there was a parent conference and everyone saw Risotto...The bullies decided to leave Martorana alone after.

Looks so soft, has his dad's music taste.

...Jolyne gets put through a lot...This just just her and ralph's kids:

Jolyne gets to name the first kids and every other one after...she's the one who has to give birth, she gets the right.

First kid - Jocelyn.

A little lighter than ralph, grows more tan in the summer. textured hair she leaves natural, patches of dark green and black hair. puts some of her hair in a half up bun. hazel eyes, tomboy fashion and gives out skater girl vibes.

Kinda like her dad, calmer but has her mother's persistence. When she's angry, it's like a silent rage. There are only so few moments that'll make her bring out her fists.

collects rocks.

Gives herself her own septum piercing like an idiot teenager does. Got infected had to go to the hospital.

Second Kid - Armani

Ralph got to name him. Pretty much a carbon copy of his dad except his hair is all black and has his mother's green eyes.

Personality wise, how the hell is this one their kid. Basically the complete opposite of the both of them - quiet, brooding, keeps to himself, etc.

when Armani grows up, Jolyne realizes that he's pretty much Jotaro.

grows up in his dad's good looks, he's just jotaro but nicer to women (outwardly)

Definite alt aesthetic.

People only know this is ralph's kid when he starts to vibrate over gardening (more into herbs).

Third Kid - Joseph, but he's called Joey for short. In my silly lil head, Jolyne loved her great grandpa joseph a lot.

My god is this just Joseph in a different font

Lighter than ralph, darker than jolyne. 3c hair, dark green with some black in there. Usually gets most of his head buzzed with cool shapes in it. Jock/Class clown aesthetic.

Loud, rowdy, has the focus levels of Ralph (not there) and the hot headedness of Jolyne (very much prevalent). He's pretty friendly and nice, grows up to be a himbo.

No one getting bullied on Joey's watch.

Loves sports, running around, just being outside and playing games in general. Doesn't do well in school however, but he realizes that he's pretty good at working on cars, so he goes to vocational for mechanic work.

Fourth Kid - Yves, named after Ralph's mother.

Joey but in a smaller font

A little bit lighter than Ralph, 3b hair - black base with patches of green. Puts up in two buns like her mother. green eyes. Fairy lolita aesthetic growing up.

Nyoomin, full of energy and running around. Loud and easily bored. 100% jolyne when she was younger. Runs around in frilly sundresses screaming for someone to play with her. Seen mostly with Vera (Anasui's youngest daughter).

Gets picked on because she has such a bold personality, Jocelyn and Joey are there to scare them off though.

Daddy's girl, clinging to ralph whenever she cant find Vera.

Josuke and Mariya had unplanned kids, but love them very much:

Their first kid was a boy, Josuke decides to name him Ryohei to honor his grandpa.

Dark brown hair, blue eyes. Later starts putting his hair in a pompadour like his dad. Eventually adopts the delinquent aesthetic

Lil josuke - ends his sentences with 'daze', kinda short tempered, wholesome and sweet, very family oriented, extroverted.

Just like Josuke, a Mama's boy. Loves Mariya with all his heart and would call someone a bitch before calling up his mom and calling her Mama in the sweetest voice.

Thinks his dad is so cool, will fight someone if they say otherwise.

Their second kid was a girl, named Jonari (can be read as JoJo).

Purple hair, brown eyes, bangs similar to Mariya (aka suzi q's lil flip bang). Lolita fashion aesthetic - pink, bows, frills, all that.

Carries around a teddy bear (and josuke calls her baby bear)

Daddy's princess, 100% has him wrapped around her finger.

Guess what. Mini Mariya - quick to anger but gets embarrassed when you give her affection when she gets older but she still loves it.

imagine being Jonari's boyfriend and coming home to Josuke and Ryohei. Menacing joestar aura.

Because Iris is unable to have a child herself, they and Oyecomova settle with a surrogate, that being hot pants...And they were very involved with the process so the twins pretty much look like Iris/Oye splices.

It was a boy and girl twin set. The girl is named Primavera (santana song) and the boy is named Kier (Lady Kier, singer of Deee-Lite).

Primavera - extremely pasty (thanks oye for that), freckles galore, dark brown curly hair (3c), violet eyes. Dark academia/witch core - dark browns, blacks, deep purples

Grows up to look more like Hot Pants

Nose in books most of the time, interests cycles frequently (from rocks, to plants, to mechanics, psychology, etc).

imagine being kidnapped by her and both of her parents accept it bc its basically what happened to them so long ago.

Lives in her own little world, usually terrible at socializing without the help of Kier.

Kier - pasty but not as much as Primavera, freckles, dark brown hair that fades into sky blue, violet eyes, wavy hair (iris's hair naturally is wavy), Angelcore/Light Academia - white, gold, creams, light browns, dusty rose

Socially more normal than his sister and his parents.

He actually loves his family a lot, don't get it twisted.

Sweet tooth, to the point where he should be getting cavities but he doesn't.

He'll do anything to defend his sister if you pick on her.

Uh oh, turns out he's exactly like Iris if he falls in love. Better hold on because he's just insanely possessive.

3 Seasons Review

(7/10) Features: -POC Protagonist -Pronoun Options (He/They/She) TWs: N/A Average route time: About 45 minutes to an hour

Link: https://hamiltonhour.itch.io/3-seasons Three Seasons by HamiltonHour is a fun and light-hearted, albeit short, experience! Here we follow our protagonist, whom you can name and select pronouns for, as they go to supposedly be interviewed at Three Seasons Inc., only to be whisked away into the elemental realm. Stuck there for "a week", you meet our current three choices, Yuto (the Winter Spirit), Sol (the Summer Spirit), and Rye (the Fall Spirit.) Let's start with Yuto!

Going into it, I expected Yuto to be cold and closed-off, as he claimed the others described him as 'cold-hearted.' I find this a bit odd, as he doesn't ever really act that way, always acting about as kind and open as the other two, although in a much more responsible manner. His route has some cute date moments, but, like the other two, it is tragically short, and I feel as though the development from strangers to lovers happens much too quickly. As well, he comes out of his shell extremely fast. Even so, his unexpected cheekiness gave this route a certain special something that I find mediocre romantic visual novels often lack.

Sol also managed to surprise me, given that when I had selected Yuto the first time Sol had made a passing flirtatious comment, giving me the impression that he would be the flirt of the game. Upon selecting his route, however, he had much more of a himbo energy, and was monumentally oblivious to my advances. It was cute, and despite how short and fast the route was, it made much more sense for his character to fall for someone so quickly, so I didn't mind it as much. His concern after the MC is nailed in the face with a volleyball was especially wholesome and sweet. As well, his design is one of my personal favorites.

The current final route, Rye, was fairly decent. His design was the warmest and coziest, and his office was definitely the comfiest looking. What made him stand out a bit amongst the other two options is that he had an actual plot going, separate from your own "trapped-in-the-elemental-realm" thing (this plot being his art show.) His love of art and reading was very cute, and his hopeless romantic energy was extremely pleasant, giving him an overall comforting and warm vibe, much like Fall itself. I also loved his teasing, though this is something he shares in common with the other two boys as well. His ending was the most satisfying, ending with a kiss in the rain, although I still must bring up just how quickly things escalated. Speaking of which...

The Problems with 3 Seasons. Every game, no matter how good, has problems. The first, and smallest, issue is with the textboxes. There's no easy way to tell who's talking, aside from the nametag, as all the boys talk relatively similarly. I feel as though we could benefit from some flourishes on the textbox, both so it looks less 'default' and so that we can better differentiate who's talking at any given time. Different fonts could also help add more visual interest to this section of the screen. The routes also could use a little more variety in the beginning, as they’re all a bit too same-y pre-dates. One issue with the game is that, as stated multiple times before, the routes are extremely short. The game is supposed to take place over "a week" (re: five days, re: two to three days), but due to time passing much faster in the elemental realm, it feels like we barely get any time to get to know the boys, and it certainly feels like much too little time for them to fall in love with us. As Yuto said, the time we spent together is a drop in the bucket of his life. I feel like the game would be better if the time was extended, say to a month, or if time didn't pass so quickly in the elemental realm, so that we would have more time to see these characters grow, and give more reason as to why an immortal being would fall in love with you so fast. Another issue is how useless the protagonist feels. There are two minigames wherein we do our job, and whilst functional, they (the minigames) don't add anything to the experience, both being extremely short and pointless. Were these to stay in the future product, I would recommend a wider variety of them, or perhaps a more difficult and frequent version (which would also be easier to accomplish with an extended time limit!) As it stands, the protagonist does two tasks and then nothing, and whilst I understand the justification being that they don't have magic, the other boys mention how, once teleported, the protagonist is wearing a "Spring staff" uniform. Surely, not every menial task the Spring Staff does requires magic as well? Introducing some side-characters in the form of seasonal staff (such as the Spring Staff) who you could help and work alongside would help breathe life into the game and add some variety aside from the gorgeous boys we have! As well, it would help feed into the sense of progression in the game, especially if they were to note subtle changes in the boys you pursue, something you yourself probably wouldn't notice since you didn't know them beforehand. Praises for the game are still abundant, despite those issues! The character designs and backgrounds are gorgeous, and I feel as though each office fits the boys perfectly! Despite the short length, the game still manages to be quite funny and even romantic at times, with each of the boys' dates being unique and enjoyable experiences. I hardly ever felt as though they said something out of character, which attests to how pleasant the writing can be. Additionally, I absolutely love how each boy gives you a customized piece of jewelry at the end of their route, making it all the more personal and special, as well as giving closure as to how you would find or see them again. The music, also, is nice, if not repetitive. Overall, I would recommend this game to someone with around two to three hours open and who enjoys isekai-type short stories. Please excuse any clunkiness, as this is the first review I’m posting, and I’m still working out the kinks in organization! Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you again soon! <3

im gonna start remaking the male characters from naruto to appeal to the female gaze.

shikamaru is the resident weird genius stoner hacker with greasy hair and a monster dick who drinks his respect women juice every fucking morning. sai stays a weird little fucker but with more mannerisms. neji goes full communist enemy of the state kills the clan elders and ends up shirtless covered in hyuga blood. kiba is hinata's best friend who's very protective of her without being patronizing and he's also secretly in love with her but has decided she'll never reciprocate his feelings and is happy just staying by her side and being allowed to terrorize any man who bothers her. naruto is a gay jock himbo protector of the lesbians and frog dad. lee is also a protector of the lesbians but he was actually appointed as such by tenten after weeks of constant pestering he dresses exclusively like bruce lee in the 70s has two gay dads (gai and kakashi) and one time got the entire village into a diplomatic mess because suna's nightmare president from hell thought he was cute and decided to make it everyone's problem.

cannot start this with anyone else but the one person who doesn’t really need recommending cause she’s a fandom legend. @arthurpendragonns, maria is not only very close to my heart, but also an incredibly talented creator and an amazing person all together. and believe me when i say no one does coloring and typography quite like her. every time maria posts i’m just left on the floor drooling.

kirsten @mazykeen truly has a different quality to her gifs. everything she makes is perfected in every possibile way. coloring? fonts? blending? you name it. kirsten is one of the most talented giffers here and a merlin fandom grandma on top of it.

@xrosheen always has the most beautiful soft coloring and is the number #1 source for all things morgana and katie mcgrath.

rumi @camelotsheart is the only person who can make meta into gifsets and honestly? it works perfectly thanks to her galaxy brain. and its always fun to watch her find all the parallels and subtext in merlin despite the fact that she has never in fact finished the show.

el @onceandfuturehimbo always delivering both on the ridiculously gorgeous gifsets front and on the himbo arthur content. el is amazing and if you’re not following her yet, what are you doing?

alex @merlinsprat is the og of colorful merlin sets and another fandom grandma. her gifs are absolutely beautiful and will surely leave you in awe!!

My opinions on Feral Boys "ships" and a low-key insult to anyone who ships some of them purely because some shippers truly ruin duos for me.

Dream and George: I can't blame you because of how in your face ambigutron and homotron are with their flirty dynamic. George could literally be going into detail about the fattest shit and Dream would still be giggling, kicking his feet and twirling his hair. They fit into a lot of romantic tropes which is why they're so popular.

Dream and Sapnap: It's a solid duo and honestly the best duo in the family dynamics category. I see them more as chosen brothers who are comfortable in making sexual jokes to eachother and are incredibly loyal to eachother because of the level of trust they share. But most Dreamnappers are chill.

Sapnap and George: It's giving me pick me girl energy. Do you like this ship or do you just not like DNF/want to be different. Honestly once again I see them as brothers more of a blood brothers who pick on eachother but will defend them with their life rather than a romantic pairing.

Karl and Sapnap: Going to be honest I don't like this pairing. It's giving me wattpad vibes. Also don't fuck with how shippers make Sapnap into this tough bad mean Chad who got swooned and charmed by this cute loving soft boy purely because their real personality is the exact opposite also it's just weird to me to write about real people whilst completely erasing their natural personality to fit your own urges.

Karl and Quackity: Once again I don't really like this pairing as a ship. It's giving the energy of someone having to pair with a teacher because of uneven class numbers. I prefer their friendship more than anything but they're too loud and obnoxious for me tbh.

Quackity and George: Brothers. Younger brother who constantly teases older brother. I genuinely fail to see this as anything romantic. It's giving the two cousins who are close Vs everyone else energy.

Quackity and Sapnap: They're like the friends who make a promise to marry at 35 if they're both single. I love this duo so much more as a friendship than a romance but I can see why people ship them. Honestly in my top 3 of Feral Boys pairings.

Dream and Karl: It's giving mental illness alliance rather than a ship. From what I've seen their shippers cling to the one moment of Dream reminding Karl to eat and that's just gross to me. So for the glorification of ED and mental health it's a no from me.

Karl and George: Probably the best Karl pairing imo. They bounce off eachother very well. It's giving same person different font vibes. Don't enjoy that people turn their friendship into bottom alliance. Kinda gross.

Dream and Quackity: Another top tier pairing. They just work super good together. It's giving the class clown getting paired with the Himbo for a project and whilst nothing gets done they both have a great time so who cares. the line is from what we deserve!! it's a soulmate au where your timer counts down to the moment that you meet your soulmate!! bakugou's timer ends at USJ when he and kirishima attack kurogiri at the same time (impulsive kings <33) but kirishima's timer doesn't end until kamino because that's when he accepts himself as bakugous soulmate!! unfortunately, when bakugous timer has reached 0, he turned to see that kirishima's was still ticking and therefore believes that kirishima isn't his soulmate.

this line just,, idk. it's really sad. bakugou is such an action-driven character? if something doesn't go his way he Makes it go his way. he's got this insanely volatile quirk and he's got impeccable control of it!! but his love for kirishima isn't something that he can change and he's not going to ruin kirishima's chance of finding his own soulmate because he loves him and wants him to be happy. i really wanted to focus on how resigned he is? and how unusual that is for a character like him.

How do you conceptualize your ideas? (See specific moments like they're a movie, writing specific lines in your head, don't know until you put the words on paper, etc.) i tend to get inspiration from movies, books, poems, or other fics!!! sometimes one line just makes me go oh,, i want to write something like that,,, and then it helps me create an idea that makes me feel the same way?? i did this with control fraek!!!! i wanted a scenario where bakugou was cold and calculating and i was like hm. to do that he’d have to be focusing on something important. and from there i was able to flesh out the rest of the idea.

Which comes first: the pairing or the plot? with krbk its always always the pairing,, i'll be sitting there like wow <33 i love them <33 what if one of them had amnesia <33 (which, yes, wip!!) otherwise it's usually the plot!! and i slot in characters that i feel make sense

Have you ever used a prompt? yeah!! used a prompt for wlw week 2020 and it was fun as hell

Do you write around the story around a specific scene you want to get to or do you start from a plot idea definitely the first!!!! i almost always write like,,, a super messy scene thats 90% dialogue, keep it in my head, and then write the entire fic around that one moment

What do you consider when writing your scenes? what goes into making the atmosphere and mood you want? to set a scene i do two things? the first is like,, the five senses bc that always sets the scene really well and makes it feel Real. i'll visualize stuff in my head like its a movie and write out what i would want to tell the set designer?? if the lights are low, if the space is busy, if it's supposed to exude comfort or not.

for putting forward the character's mood one thing i've found that makes a difference is sentence length!! long sentences are good for making a character seem flustered and nervous or not really in control of their emotions? good for love confessions. short sentences are good for when the character is focused on something or short on time. good for fights!!

What's something you never considered to include in your writing that you can't leave out now? def buff hagakure,,,, once i thought of it i was like. if i don't include this at least once in every single fic how could i look at myself in the mirror!!!!!! how could i face anyone!!!!

How do you start a story? establishing a fact about the character or describing the setting! option a is one single thread of gold, option b is between lion and men

How do you end a story? either by tying it back to the beginning or doing like a funny kind of closing??? option a is sugar cookies, option b is a godless society

How do you get out of writer's block? change something!! move something!! i go from typing to handwriting, moving from my bedroom to my living room, switching wips to work on something else!! i do sprints as well?? give myself like fifteen minutes to write something and sometimes 200 words opens up the way for another 2k. sometimes i'll just delete like 500 words and start fresh

Do you edit? or do you toss your writing out there? i edit!!! i'll go over it myself then send it to one or two betas (bee my beloved <33)

How do you edit? do you use spellcheck, grammar checkers, etc? bee is my grammar checker bc he is So Good with grammar. i use grammarly as well for spellcheck stuff mostly?? sometimes my edit process is just like "am i tired of looking at this!! yes <3" and then i post it

Do you usually like what you write? yeah!!! i post stuff that makes me happy and that i'm fine with rereading!!! i write stuff for self-indulgence reasons first and foremost and i think my writing reflects that sjhnksj

Do you find yourself rereading your writing often? yeah!! the reason i wrote so much krbk secret relationship is because i loved it but i'd read all that there was so i just,, wrote more,, ngl its kinda nice being in a place where i actually like my writing bc i can write stuff that i want to see and really enjoy it!!

Can you tell us anything about your current WIP? sure!! i'm currently working on when it rains which is a fic where bakugou gets hit by a crying quirk!! i'm gonna be using it to explore So Much of all might's character and his relationships with bakugou and aizawa (and i think some people from his past!!)

Can you give us a sneak peek on your current WIP? “You did something. What the hell did you do?” Kirishima sounds pissed off. It would amuse Katsuki if he wasn’t fighting just to stay standing.

“Nothing he didn’t ask for,” Shinsou replies.

“K’ri… shima,” Katsuki croaks out. “‘S fine. Not him.”

His chest collapses back into the familiar dry heaving after that but Kirishima shuts up. He doesn’t apologize to Shinsou.

Kirishima’s a good friend, stubborn and loyal. He stands by Katsuki’s side like an attack dog, blocking him from the view of anyone ogling at his tears.

The last line you've written Ochako knows more than she'd realized. She knows enough to keep her guard up.

What's your favorite thing about writing? touched on this before but it's mainly just being able to write the things that i want to see and actually enjoy them!!! actually reread them!!!! i thought "wouldn't it be cool if bkg and kirishima owned a restaurant together" and then i wrote it and i like it enough to reread it!!!! being able to create content for myself makes me. so happy

How do you keep yourself inspired? this is gonna sound narcissistic maybe but honestly i'm just really excited about my ideas and where i'm gonna take them and the idea of "i'm gonna get to That scene" keeps me going through the entire thing. also my friends!!!! i'll talk to them about fics and their reactions keep me hyped up enough to finish!!!!

One way you've improved your writing since you began? characterization!! i think i've gotten better at writing characters that are all Different and bring different things to the table!!! i used to project a lot more and it would compromise the characterization because the character was like 70% me and 30% them? not to say that projection is bad but if you do it too much it just,, doesn't read like the character and from a reader's standpoint the narrative can become less compelling

One aspect of writing you're still working on? writing action!!! i. literally hate writing it but i write for a fandom about superheroes so. Unfortunately i gotta learn.

A piece of writing advice you've learned while writing saw this on another tumblr post but they said sometimes if you're struggling with a scene, the problem is five lines back. i've found that to be true!!!! sometimes u gotta delete a chunk and start a little ways back!! i did this with too busy being yours because i was stuck for Weeks and i deleted like 25% of what i had but it helped me actually finish it :D

Something you wish you knew when you first started writing? ,,,,honestly i kind of wish i could know some of the stuff that i used to when i first started writing?? technically i'm better now but creatively i was must better when i wasn't stressing about whether anyone would like what i was writing. so i guess i wish i knew that i should keep that confidence? i kinda wish that i wasn't as insecure about other people's writing styles because i never used to be!!

Thoughts While I Watch The Nintendo Direct A Day Late

Thoughts on the Nintendo Direct: Yoko Toro is an interesting person, that card game looks interesting but Y wouldn’t I just play Talisman? Cool to see more isometric RPGS on switch.

Hyrule Warriors is fun! Age of Calamity is where I really fell in love with the musou formula again - I played a LOT of DW Empires 5, so taking over a map / doing stuff on a map before combat is fun. The silly weapons like the broom etc also make this really fun. I’ll gladly play more of this. the new scientist warrior looks sick! Who asked for Chocobo GP? This looks like Garfield Racing re-skinned and with better physics maybe. When they said Chocoboooooo! I was hoping for a Chocobo’s Dungeon. My buddy Ted got that game with his PS1 and we though it was soooo cool, especially after playing Azure Dreams on Gameboy.

Thanks for telling us when we can see the new Smash Fighter which is probably more Sword boy / Sword gorl why won’t you put any interesting fighters in this game I am moving to Smash Bros CatDog Edition. Kirby washing up on an island is the most unlikely thing for a being who summons giant warp stars to fly through the universe on but okay. this looks INCREDIBLE. Kirby + Nier vibes with the busted up environment. what bums me out is that we saw the same enemy like, 10 times in the first 10 seconds of that one area. The giant snakes / fish are cool, but lets see some more variation maybe 3D Kirby boss fights look pretty freaking fun! 3D Kirby looks pretty great. It will suffer from Kirby things and also be fun. Triangle strategy looks dumb, Disgea does that shit better now right? Metroid Dread looks really cool, excited to run from big robot and make Samus Very Strong Hopefully u get to crawl around as big robot at some point in the game. Love the lore dump we get. Dude, Chozo were here! That’s sick!

Many people have been using switch online… Oh, giving out their old roms gathering dust for “free,” with their current sub was too generous for Nintendo I suppose. New plan for N64 games seem sick - the playing together online thing is very cool. Starting library is standard but nothing too exciting. Very excited to see how the emulation handles these games in relation to how they behaved on the console, as all the cool sped running shit we see in these sorts of older games vary depending on the version of the game.

I’m more excited about the Genesis line up than I am about the N64 one, save those two games I don’t recognize. We get Castlevania, a Contra, some puyo, Beatem ups, and playing this version of Gunstar Heroes might sell more of the other one. Expansion Pack is a name.

Notice how Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon and Comix Zone are not on these lists? They are too afraid to give us the best of what both platforms have to offer and it’s a shame.
