I'm never getting over the fact that Arthur, on every single date he goes on, talks about Merlin. Brings Merlin along. Aggravates the living hell out of Merlin right in front of the salad.

Vivian, Elena, Gwen, and Mithian are the epitome of, "Hi, this is my boyfriend, Arthur. And that's Arthur's boyfriend, Merlin."

It's really freaking rich that Arthur made a joke about Merlin being sheltered with no tact with women - meanwhile, this literal castle-bound prince cannot function without his best friend, manservant, and boyfriend.

This is eating me up inside, I genuinely want to know why is Steve so okay with putting himself down and everyone just thinks it’s fine? Like no one questions why he thinks so lowly of himself even though he’s done a lot to prove that he’s more than what the show let on. I think it’s weird how in a conversation he’ll slip in comments about himself that are negative. I also think it’s so gross that he can’t have a moment of confusion without being disrespected and I know it’s supposed to be funny but at a certain point someone should really ask “is Steve okay?” I can bet money that the answer won’t be yes.

I also want to add how come Eddie (someone who doesn’t even know Steve from a can of paint other than school) find something nice to say about him and not put him down. This also adds to my list why I think steddie is real but that’s for another time

I just wanted to say that the way you characterize and talk about Miguel has actually really helped me with thinking about how to write for him 😭 genuinely I love the way you describe him as an actual like person and not just some sex addict or someone who's extremely distant and cold. I hope you continue writing mild Miguel because it's so refreshing compared to all the other shit I see 😭💕

MIGUEL ISN'T AN ASSHOLE YOU PEOPLE ARE JUST MEAN - A.K.A -

My Defense & Evidence of a Milder, Non-aggressive Sympathetic Miguel O'hara.

[This is a half-break down half rant about Mild Miguel, when we see Miguel's true nature, and what fandom gets wrong about him. I have my evidence.

this is shorter than my usual posts but I'm going absolute apeshit Miguel Mode by the end so sorry you have to see that.]

I think Miguel and Hobie are the two most complex characters in the film. Like - both of them equally.

It's just really easy to explain one over the other.

I feel this way because every character we see in the entire movie - Miles, Gwen, Peter, Jess, Rio, Jeff, The Spot, everyone - is forthcoming and clear about their intentions and motive throughout the movie.

When we're watching the movie the first time, we understand Miles motive, and Peter's, and Gwen. In real time. It's there and stated. Miles wants to save his dad, Peter wants to be a better mentor, Gwen just wants peace basically.

But when we're watching for the first time - we have no idea what Hobie OR Miguel is capable of until they do it.

They are the two we're surprised by. (And they're also exact opposites who somehow don't seem to be complete adversaries)

They're the only two within the film who we are left to speculate their motive, their drive, and what they'll do next.

They're the only two in the film who are truly meant to catch us off guard with their behavior.

Leading up to Hobie's big twist, there was a LOT of misdirection. I think the same is true for Miguel...but like..the fandom isn't picking up on the misdirection AT ALL.

I have a lot of ideas and thoughts about Miguel and his character and honestly I think it's the exact opposite of what the fandom sees.

But when its's Hobie, it's very easy to understand him, just read the wiki on Punk and you're good.

But I don't think anyone has look closer at Miguel yet.

I genuinely believe that the reason Miles got away was because Miguel went soft.

He was watching the videos of Gaby to remind himself why he was doing this - why he had to stand his ground, but when Miles started panicking, and begging to know how much time he had left - Miguel slipped up. He went soft.

And he told him 'two days'.

You can see it in Miguel's face when Miles is asking.

That's not the face of a man considering assault. That's not anger. He's wavering.

He didn't have to tell Miles how long he had left. But he did - why? Cause he thought 'I'd kill for two days with Gabby. A lot of people get less warning about death - Maybe he can spend those two days with his fath-'

and then Miles is like 'word?? two days to stop you?? iight im out also fuck yall' - which understandable have a nice day

But like......Miguel wouldn't have said it if he knew it would fuck him over. He didn't KNOW Miles was radicalized cause he didn't know Hobie had spoken to him. He thought that telling him might convince him. If he knew Miles was gonna run - there's no need to tell him anything.

He could've lied and said "I DON'T KNOW. But maybe let's talk about this."

But he didn't. He slipped up.

He's SOFT. Everytime he's mean, or angry - He has to think about it. Like when he looked at Hobie - and thought about it. He has to MAKE himself do it. It isn't natural to him.

Nobody else in the room was gonna answer Miles. Miles wouldn't have known. But Miguel told him two days. And because of that, that specific slip-up, Miles is trying to save his dad.

Why? Because he's SOFT. CAPITAL S SOFT.

Miguel is not a raging monster. Or aggressive. Or manipulative.

He's a guy who thinks he's holding the universe together with duct tape and a kid is in front of him begging to know how long they have left with their father and he tells them and because of that they get away and now everything he worked for is gonna emplode in his face because he had a SOFT SPOT FOR A KID AGAIN AND DID SOMETHING HE SHOULDN'T AGAIN AND TOLD HIM AND NOW PEOPLE ARE GONNA DIE AGAIN BECAUSE HE MESSED WITH THE MULTIVERSE AGAIN FUCK-

Like...yeah- he snapped. A normal person would snap. I've snapped for way less and a lot of other people have.

Granted, we don't go mauling children.

I don't know, I just feel like he's an incredibly layered character.

Because when he's ranting and screaming at Gwen like an irritated school teacher we're already like 'oh fuck you dude but also fuck you ;)'

so when he's right there doing things like this - we don't see it. The same way we don't see Hobie's stealing - because we think we have him figured out.

We don't see Miguel's tenderness.

Because we assume we know who he is - he's cold and aggressive and rude and hates Miles,

but like...is he really?

Miles is getting upset - and the whole conversation leading up to it Miguel has talked to him from a far, hands when Miles can see them. He's not trying to stand over him, or intimidate him. Miguel knows he's scary. He knows how to be scary.

He isn't trying to scare Miles. The exact opposite. He's trying to comfort him.

And when Miles starts lashing out - Miguel is genuinely surprised. That isn't the look of someone who THINKS he's about to hurt this kid.

He's telling Miles, hands up "Hey, sorry. I'm not trying to hurt you." He immediately lets go, backs up.

I just---- FUCK, PEOPLE THE MAN IS STANDING RIGHT THERE THATS MILD MIGUEL LOOK AT HIM

If you really really think Miguel is naturally aggressive, or angry, or cold -

If you write him that way -

I ask that you rewatch the leading up to Miles' escape. Look at his body language. Watch him, and look at his face. That's all I ask.

He's SOFT. The same way he caved for Gwen after a little pushing. He caved for Miles after a little pushing. That's why he told him two days. SOFT

If understanding Hobie was a house, the fandom is standing out on the road.

If understanding Miguel was a house, the people aren't even in the same neighborhood. We're in the next state over. Other side of the globe. Off base by like 12 zipcodes and 4 times zones

Mild Miguel. Please tell me you're seeing this.

Because Miguel thinks getting to spend two whole days with some you'll lose is a BLESSING to him - not a curse.

Even though to ANY non-traumatized person - it would be a curse.

Miguel stepped into Gabriellas life because he didn't want her to lose a father. He KNOWS losing a father hurts.

So when Miles is there in front of him, talking about not wanting to lose his father - Miguel KNOWS how he feels. Gabby didn't want to lose her dad either.

I find it hilarious how I can read smut and immediately know whether it was written by a woman or a man.

Men write so obtusely, it's dull, blunt, and lacks emphasis. They describe all the wrong things, they write for themselves and not the reader. Women on the other hand write with a different sort of elegance, they actually put effort into making their product readable and easy to follow, while also captivating enough to suck you in.

There are definitely good male writers out there, but the majority (especially on Tumblr) are just horndogs that want to get off and don't actually care about the story

I'm saying all of this as a male writer, guys, you need to do better

I WANNA RANT ABOUT A REOCCURING THEME IN STAR WARS THAT NO ONE’S TALKED ABOUT (that I’ve seen)

I don’t know why this popped into my head, but I’ve been a little feral to do some good screaming about it: can we talk about the number of hugely influential character who’ve made a mistake and kept pursuing that path because they felt like it was too late to change??! Dooku, Anakin (just wait, I’ll get there), Crosshair, hell even Obi Wan.

Dooku’s example of this is painted clearly in the Tales of the Jedi episode when he learns about Qui-Gon. There’s clearly doubt, but by then his ‘son’ has been killed for the goal he’s fighting for and that sacrifice would be pointless if he doesn’t see it through. Anakin doesn’t truly reach this point until his transition to Vader, but there’s a moment beforehand (the “what have I done?”) line, that illustrates it, and then after finding out he “killed” Padme, he believes himself utterly unworthy of redemption, so he becomes a bit of a mindless slave fueled by rage and regret.

And Crosshair… listen, I will fight dirty on this hill. Sure, Crosshair probably gets his chip out after Bracca, but he’d just spent months trying to off his brothers and being forced to do things he never would have without the chip and not once did his brothers openly suspect something was wrong or doubt that he’d do those things, and, of course, we have to mention the moment when he saves Omega and everyone still keeps their guns trained on him at the end of season 1, as has been dissected time and again by countless others, which solidifies his fears of no longer having a place among them. So, he’s alone, unwanted by the only family he’s ever known, and wracked with guilt over the things he’s done. The only place he has left is the Empire because he’s already in too deep.

Obi Wan is more subtle, but his mistakes are with Anakin. He’s overlooked red flag after red flag, and even acknowledges this is some of the books, but he lets things slide time and time again because he’s made exceptions for him in the past. I think he begins subconsciously doubting his right to call Anakin out on those actions because of his own failings, and then everything spirals out of control too quickly for him to even try to fix it.

Hell, this mentality broke Wolffe in Rebels - despite not having his chip, he still clings to a distrust toward Jedi because, if he doesn't, he'd have to come to terms with the fact that he betrayed Plo, which, let's be real: not one of us is emotionally ready for.

The greatest and most painful failings of our beloved characters came about because they didn’t feel like they could, or should, be granted the chance to make things right, either because they couldn’t live with what they’d done so couldn’t consciously accept their actions as a mistake, or because they couldn’t forgive themselves so didn’t think they deserved to even ask anyone else for forgiveness.

With very, very few exceptions, it’s only too late to ask for help when you’re dead. Things may never be the same as before the mistake was made, but that’s still better than continuing to make it worse.

oh my sweet Gale

I will admit, the very first run through of this game i found Gale annoying, pushy, dumped trauma everywhere, narcissistic in his knowledge of magic, and the need to prove how right his in in the subject. I often found myself thinking and saying out loud "omg shut up"..... buuuuut... having romanced him...... i found that his personality traits are the exact same as someone born as a child prodigy, had his ego inflated, alienated by everyone around him, and made to think he was superior by someone higher up just to then land on his ass.

I wont go through what i think of his character development because each play through is different, and for each player its different... but this is what i think of him over all.

Gale doesn't know how to talk to people. He doesn't have social queues that almost everyone else picks up on. Gale has spent, up till the tadpole, the exception in a lot of the situations he was put into and thus it became his default personality. Yes, for those of us who have romanced him (keeps romancing him) we see someone haunted by their past choices and watch him grow. We see the nerd that he is, but this is more about the potential Gale before we meet him. So bare with me.

He was a child prodigy and put into a prestigious school where he flourished. I can only image how his professors loved him and his fellow students less than enthusiastic response. You know what happens when you become the teachers pet? You become ostracized by your fellow peers. You know what happens when you are really good at something that usually takes A LOT of practice for others? You either get used or don't make friends. Gale has had ONE story that involved other people and it didn't involve friends, he was at a bar and defused a brawl with ale. He has openly admitted to Tara being his only real friend.

Now this isn't to say Gale never had to work at his magic or arcane knowledge to get him to where he is in the game when he first meet him. He was an archmage and the chosen of Mystera, but his innate ability to wield it as a young boy is what got Mystera's attention. Gale has stated that she was his teacher first, then his muse and finally his lover. You can only imagine how special he felt when Mystera chose him to be his guiding hand..... and then to be a lover? I don't care who you are..... That shit would have to inflate your ego. That shit would make you feel like you were SOOO much better than your fellow peers. You would have those toxic thoughts and comments of "yeah, well Mystera chose me! So who needs friends/criticism/physical lovers/ect". What do you typically do when you catch the attention of someone you highly regard? You try to impress them and do what you can to be even more impressive! So Gale's ambition grew to newer heights. I cant imagine what Mystera poisoned his mind with while they were together. Like, i get she told him to just be content with the things were.... but come on Mystera... you couldn't have expected him to stop striving to be better with a simple "nah, you're cool how you are. you don't need to be my equal". Not when the poor man has spent the last 2 decades of his life striving to be the best. His most important years for growth and development have been spent on trying to impress others.

Gale learns of a way to possibly convince Mystera to allow him into her domain and it gets a carnivorous orb shoved into his chest, dumped, stripped of his titles and holed up in his tower without nary a reason why. That had to be the biggest blow he has ever received in his entire life. His act of what he believed to be a sure fire way into getting what he wanted ended up taking almost everything away from him. If it wasn't for Tara, i'm sure Waterdeep would have succumbed his to orbs blight. The man locked himself in his tower and turned away all his colleagues and family.

So imagine, you are this lonely person... squirreled away from others and any social interaction. No one to talk to except your pet *sorry Tara* and all of a sudden you find yourself on a ship.... with a parasite in your brain and then your thrust into an adventure with a bunch of strangers. You have this orb in your chest that could blow at any time and you cant really explain WHY you need magical items.... but that if you don't get them.... everyone is in trouble.... you find your group facing monsters and doing weird ass side quests.... and at any given opportunity, you like to drop a knowledge bomb on the group.... just to find that some of the group members don't like your input... or don't listen at all.. which doesn't sit well with you. You've been told how right you are for like... 20 years... You haven't been given many acts of kindness since becoming an adult, what with your abrasive "im more knowledgeable in everything and i've slept with a goddess" personality, so when you see your fearless leader doing something nice, you approve. You grown to trust this leader enough to tell them the truth.... knowing full well they may turn on you, but they don't! You continue to watch them, and share moments of magic with them, you fight along side them, and what is this? Are you starting to develop feelings for them? Are they reciprocating these feelings?

He gets a death sentence slapped on his back and these new budding feelings he has for you need to be made known. What better way than to show you how much you mean to him than to literally paint the sky in the weave for you. To take away the Shadow-lands curse and SHOW you something better. He thinks 'the most perfect night would have to be some place im comfortable and vulnerable.... so that i can SHOW them. This is me, Gale. This is my whole world and at the center of it, my very heart'. he is literally showing you who he is. he is this studious... lonely man.. who sits in front of his fire place reading and researching... or out on his terrace watching the sunset with a book. Like, do you accept this version of me that you have not seen yet? *Not to mention the weave/ astral projected 3 gale gang bang you get while spinning through the cosmos. He is such a show off... or he just isnt confident in his own physical/ mortal ability to woo and wow*

To watch Gale throughout my few play throughs grow as a person and learn that having to much ambition can oft lead to ruin... and watch him change to just be content with himself as he is... i get a lot of comfort from it. I haven't gone down the God route yet, nor have i tried to make him more villainous, but who knows lol.

I have a lot thoughts on pre-tadpoled Gale and how his life up to that point made him who he is when we are first introduced to him. Gale is definitely my comfort character.

Sorry for the rant... or maybe im not. Once again... these are my thoughts from my multiple play throughs.

1 thing the show did (mostly) correctly:

Max is a boy’s sibling. Sisters of brothers are just Different™ than sisters of sisters. Especially when the brother is older (because Nancy and Mike don’t follow this brother-sister dynamic). Obviously a girl can choose tom-boyish styles and activities on her own, but Max’s connection with Billy is so vividly apparent (coming from a femme sibling with brothers):

Billy surfs. Max skateboards. Same thing, different elements (water vs earth).

Hair style. They both wear their hair down, until Billy’s gone, then Max ties it back. In s3, she only ties it back once they’re fully in Mind Flayer battles. She doesn’t even tie it up while skateboarding (except for pulling her bangs/fringe to the side). I’m sure this wasn’t intentional by the hair stylists, another annoying happy accident.

Michael Myers. As someone whose brother chased them around the house in that stupid mask, tell me Max has a brother without telling me Max has a brother. We could discuss the symbolism between Michael/Laurie and Max/Billy, but the show doesn’t give a rip about functional parallels or foils, so never mind.

Attitude. Listen, elder siblings define what’s cool, and how to interact with the world. Billy and Max are mirrors of each other because of their tough exteriors and squishy hearts.

Cam - The Unsung

Booth should add Cam's name to his list of saints. That woman has one HELL of a thankless job as the administrator of the Medico-Legal lab. The irony of her position is that the better she does her job, the less it looks like her position is needed. And being the calm, steady one in a team full of highly individualistic, radical personalities means that her own specialized intelligence often gets ignored. When you have 'works-on-a different-plane-of-thought' Brennan, affable-yet-utterly-mad scientist Hodgins, and queen-of-lateral-thinking Angela on your team, your astute leadership skills and pathological expertise are not given their due importance.

Which is a bloody travesty. The Medico-Legal lab's job is not only to determine the truth, but also to make certain that the analysis can be utilized and presented successfully in court. Before Cam, the team was essentially a group of genius scientists working on individual remains on an as-is basis. Booth was correct in Season 2 when he told Brennan that Cam's objective is to ensure a successful prosecution. And in order to safeguard the findings of the team from being thrown out on a legal technicality, she is bound by the rules of the Justice Dept, the FBI and the Jeffersonian board. It sucks that time and again her team chastise her for doing so.

I mean the poor woman was treated like a traitor by her team for not lying to the authorities when Brennan was framed by Pelant. I mean, sure Angela, Cam should just lie about the evidence implicating Brennan. It's not like evidence in murder cases has a long chain of custody, and any fudging would be soon discovered. It's not as though Cam wouldn't immediately nuke her career and possibly her freedom by actively sabotaging a Federal murder inquiry.

And look - I love Hodgins but I'm surprised how fans of the show either ignore or simply brush over the times he blatantly uses his financial privilege without considering the ramifications to other people. I mean seriously, do we really think he would be so free to full off half his shenanigans if he wasn't the last scion of the Cantilever group, and thus enjoyed donor privilege? He regularly swipes items from other departments and exhibits, often without approval. He brews alcohol in Jeffersonian owned instruments and sets off minor explosions. His intentions are never ever malicious, and he is genuinely an adult version of the boy who loved to take everything apart to see how things worked. But let's face it - ANY other person would have faced severe consequences for these actions. Remember the Founder's Day party? It would have been Cam's job to take the heat for the decimated Mexican succulents and unauthorized drinking in the workplace. I wonder just how much she's shielded her team from - and whether she's ever been acknowledged.

Gods even in the episode where Wendell comes back after his chemo and lets Cam know that he takes medical marijuana to deal with the pain - did she have ANY recourse but to let him go? She stuck her neck out for Finn but Caroline bulldozed her, and with justifiable reason. She was stuck between the same rock and hard place with Wendell. And wow, the way Angela and Hodgins immediately painted her as a moustache twirling villain laughing at Wendell's pain infuriated me. They should realize how hypocritical their stance is - after all when Brennan left for Maluku and Booth for Afghanistan they had a proper cause and mission. Hodgins and Angela left simply because they could, and because they didn't want to put in the effort of breaking in a new team, however temporarily. Cam was left in the dust.

So here's to Camille Saroyan - woman of infinite patience, empathy and the ability to handle rambunctious adults. May she one day get the recognition she deserves.

There are plenty of questionable moments throughout Merlin but one thing they did super well is Arthur and Uther's relationship. Uther's an abusive father, but Arthur loves him, and we see Uther's delicate side often enough to understand why.

A moment that really hits hard is in season 3, after Uther discovers Arthur and Gwen together, is when Arthur pleads his case. He scrambles between three different tactics, first sincerity, followed by more princely authoritative force, and then begging and apologizing.

Uther is unpredictable, a trait that makes him so awful as a father. So watching Arthur, who knows him better than anyone, swing wide so fast, within a single conversation, trying to find the right card to play in his father's game, is really heart-wrenching.

It shows a very special emotional intelligence in Arthur, albeit a devastating one.

I‘m once again listening to tdv and oh my god „Für Sarah“ is literally so dear to me because it not only establishes Alfred as being a poor little meow meow but also as fundamentally not the right person for Sarah.

Sarah is very much so looking for a strong, hardened man that is cold, determined, calm. She is looking for Krolock or at least what Alfred perceives the Count to be like.

And Alfred has realized that, he is aware of it but so caught up in his compassionate, gentle and soft self, as well as his own insecurity that he is okay with losing himself to be what Sarah wants/ needs.

And that willingness to let go of his personality/ morals in such a way is strongly connected to the stereotypical female gothic heroine. Alfred takes on the role of „gothic heroine“ right after he arrives at the castle. Maybe even before that. Alfred is active as the professor’s savior right at the beginning of the musical. But even then he is looking for guidance, someone to „follow“ (think about him shouting for the professor). He wants to be the „male hero“, saving the girl, that‘s who he understands himself to be but he is not.

Sarah however is all of those things. From the moment she decides to leave her home (going on the hero’s journey) she displays the stereotypically „male hero‘s“ determination, courage that Alfred is so keen to acquire. So naturally she goes on looking for someone similar to her. Someone that she can not only argue with but also learn from. She is looking for a way out and while Alfred is a good guy (in tune with his emotions, incredibly kind with a huge amount of compassion etc.) he is not and could not ever be her mental equal. He is literally willing to lose himself for her. Which would simply be unhealthy for both of them.

Alfred would not be able to give Sarah what she is looking for, which due to his caring, giving personality, would be his deepest desire/ wish for their relationship. My guy would probably break completely.

Like he literally sais that he'd give his blood for her. And it happens. In the end Alfred has given himself to Sarah completely and thereby lost his own chance of happiness (not ever reaching his academic goals, not being able to uphold his moral code because at the end of the day he will have to kill to survive).

Alfred gives, gives, gives and Sarah takes, takes, takes and through no fault of their own they just wouldn't be very happy together.

[[EDIT: Apparently Sarah has to hold the sponge from above and Alfred has to hold the sponge at the bottom every time they interact with it on stage. Just seemed interesting in connection to this train of thought.]]

enough people don’t understand how hard it has to be for nico and hazel, like both of them were born in different centuries that had completely different standereds, like how crazy must it have been for hazel to not be consistently being discriminated for her skin color? nico must’ve been absolutely terrified to come out because he lived in fascist italy where being gay was punishable. like they never had a chance to adapt to the modern world because they were consistently fighting for their lives. nico may have had a few years in modern time before he was found by percy and co but he spent that entire time homeless and probably barely getting by, he also didn’t know he had shifted time frames. hazel was immediately put into camp jupiter after literally being rose from the dead, she didn’t know modern standards regarding race or gay people, she was probably the least understanding when nico came out because of that. this isn’t talked about enough in the fandom at all and i think it should definitely be discussed way more. thanks for reading my rant

So i was watching the van scene again (as one does on a fine evening like this) and at first I was noticing like how long the heart eyes thing went on for in both of them and i discovered first of all that some of the little ones in Mike’s eyes looked split in half so I was like, okay sure. And I’m trying to be rational so if byler isn’t cannon I’m not too sad so I told myself ‘maybe he’s heartbroken about El or smthn 😒’

BUT THEN, I saw that throughout the monologue, removing his little smile at the end when he finally speaks, Mike looks like he gets progressively more sad. Like right at the end he looked close to tears so my delusional brain immediately went ‘okay that right there, what if my boy Michael is sad cus he thinks Will is telling the truth and doesn’t like him back and he’s just getting sad thinking about el needing him 😦.’ NOW I JUST NEED SOMEONE TO LOOK AT THIS AND TELL ME IM NOT IMAGING SHIT, HE LOOKS LIKE HE’S ABOUT TO CRY DOESN’T HE?

okay also, this next one is a major reach, but is it just me or does Mike have hearts in his hair in the background of the following pic??? And it’s not just the angle or lighting or anything because they’re there all the way through will’s ‘and when you’re different, you feel like a mistake’ line, but it could very well just be my eyes and it is very plate of corn:

THE VOICE ACTORS ARE GROWN-ASS PEOPLE WHO CAN ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES.

Please fucking STOP presuming you know how these people feel about the situations they find themselves in. It IS you being parasocial and it IS creepy as fuck and it WILL escalate eventually to these VAs deciding that they've had enough with the presumptuousness and unearned familiarity of strangers.

Wyll's VA being a quieter guy means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING except that he's a quieter guy. Even IF he was struggling to be seen among the other chaotic personalities, YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO KNOW UNLESS HE SAYS SOMETHING.

Stop acting like you know. Stop "having concerns". This is not supporting the actor or the work-- this is you being weird about a total fucking stranger.

Every other day I encounter some fan taking a clip from a stream or a con and then creating this elaborate fiction about real people.

These actors have been generous to us with their presence and memeing. Going too far into "analyzing" these real people and creating narratives around them that they did not ask for and that you have precisely zero percent actual insight into is how our faves end up shutting down their socials and closing down their cameo shops.

Be unhinged about the characters!

But you have no knowledge about the real human beans who perform them. All we know is what they show us and literally ANYTHING outside of that is over-familiar conjecture and JFC just stop, okay?

I found this online (surprise, surprise, we can't see the panel unless we pay for the privilege) and...

yeah omg I am not meant to be a part of this fandom

So there's a subreddit for sxf that looks like they mark their spoilers, and I decided to look into a discussion and one of the things I see is someone going like "Anya is not neglected, Damian is!"

and like 🫠🫠

I doubt it's only one person believing this, and the idea that they think that whatever Damian has been through is worse than being born as an experiment and growing up in a lab where you're forced to study and aren't allowed to be a kid... and only getting someone to take care of you after you literally manipulate them into adopting you...

Like, Anya having caring parents now doesn't erase her trauma from, like, her entire existence up to that point. I don't mean to negate Damian's trauma but chill out a bit with your bias okay sheesh
