GRASS TYPE

Serperior (F)

Percy's Serperior is a diva, there's no other way to say it. She was like this ever since she was a Snivy. She loves the spotlight, that's why she was perfect for Pokemon Contests. She let Percy catch her because she saw true elegance and grace in her. There is only one person Serperior loves in this world and that person is Percy.

Lilligant (F)

Percy is very proud of her Lilligant, because she is one of the very few trainers who could coax the flower on Lilligant's head to bloom. Percy sometimes makes oil from her flowers and uses it in the lotions she makes.

Morelull (F)

This little one is the daughter of Percy's Shiinotic, she is a mischievous one. She loves playing pranks on people other than her trainer.

Shiinotic (F)

Percy caught Shiinotic on one of her brief visits to Alola, she was just a little Morelull at the time. She really likes gardening with her friends Lilligant, Florges, and Arboliva.

Shaymin

Percy met Shaymin while he was running from Team Rocket, she saved it from them, and for that, it stayed with her and let her catch it out of gratitude.

Shiny Whimsicott (F)

Leavanny uses Whimsicott's cotton to make Percy's clothes. She is as much of a prankster as the rest of Percy's Pokemon and uses her ability to slip through cracks as a tool for it.

Apple trio (Appletun (F), Flapple (M), Applin (M))

Apple trio was actually given to Percy as Applins on valentines day, she neither returned the feelings nor the Applins. Two of them choose to evolve while one of them didn't, but they're still attached at the hip.

Decidueye (M)

Percy caught him while he was still a Dartrix, she helped him get through that difficult stage of his and allowed him to reach his full strength. He never regretted choosing Percy as his trainer for that, her diligently helping him groom didn't hurt either.

Arboliva (F)

Arboliva actually came with the land the old empty house Percy used to stay in when she was homeless. She moved into its garden while Percy was on her journey and when she bought the land, she caught her too for good measure.

Brambleghast (M)

Percy caught him near Casseroya Lake, which she thought was weird because Brambleghasts normally live in arid regions.

Shiny Roserade (F)

She was being bullied by her kind while she was a Roselia for her different colors, no trainer wanted her, all except one. To Percy, she was the most beautiful Roselia out there. She took care of her and managed to evolve her into a Roserade. Now she takes care of Percy's garden.

Shiny Eldegoss (F)

Percy found Eldegoss at the Ruins of Remembrance in the Aurus Island of the Lental region. She heard from Professor Oak about this new phenomenon called Illumina and thought it would be great for her contest Pokemons.

Elements the main line Pokémon games can/should take from spin offs

Just my opinion and thoughts

Written before Scarlet and Violet's announcement just didn't fix some grammar and spelling errors lol

Due to their nature as spin-offs they can be looser with the rules of the world or expand on the world while still staying true to Pokémon as outside of maybe a few all Pokémon games can arguably all fit in the same world

And most of them outside of the gameplay offer something that makes them unique

So these are just ideas from each game that can maybe go to the main line games

Pokémon Snap/New Pokémon Snap:

Many of the games try to incorporate some aspect of photo taking such as HGSS with the camera guy that took a pic of you and your current party, Alola’s photo spots, etc

I think incorporating a photo mode in the next Pokémon Amie/Camp/etc. can go a long way for players

And with that, they can incorporate the social media thing they had in New Pokémon Snap into the games as well especially with the Sword and Shield trainer card maker as a basis for posts, sharing, and such

The last thing is Illumina Pokémon

There are aspects of them that feel like they could go more in-depth with this idea and other times it just feels like a different shiny Pokémon, I think there’s something it could be used for maybe like Totem Pokémon and can have slightly higher stats or be used in Contests/etc I think they have nice designs and offer something visually more appealing than totems and alphas while not being almost completely different like shinies

Mystery Dungeon

Pokémon as the playing characters for stuff like the Poke Jobs in SwSh could work

One idea that I’m taking from Chuggaconroy

Essentially saying in Mystery Dungeon pre-evolved Pokémon are still useable the whole game as the evolution stat increase isn’t as big as in the main line games making evolving not as big of a deal as it really just matters what level you are and what moves you have

So having a way, an item, key item, etc that allows a Pokémon to have their evolved stats but keep their pre evolved appearance like Bulbasaur with the stats of Ivysaur or Venusaur. Similar to wearing a skin in video games. That way everyone kind of wins as many prefer their cuter or different stages and only evolved their Pokémon to beat the game. It sounds like such a big thing that it would be a mechanic like Mega evolution. But I think there’s someway that can make it so simple it won’t demand that much attention. As seen with another idea later

The unevolved “skin” can have some downside like Pikachu has Raichu stats except for HP for example kinda like the opposite of Dynamax making it better but not as good as just evolving regularly or like Chugga said it not being able to be used online or in competitive VS

And other things in Mystery dungeon that kind of got stuff in the main lines are based but that’s essentially the starting house or secret bases in the Hoenn games/underground in Sinnoh games having that feature be more permanent/recurring would be nice

Pokémon Unite

Holowear

All those costumes you’ve seen the Pokémon wear are called Holowear as explained in a comic it’s just a hologram projected on the Pokémon so it’s not in the way of movement and battling and weight, etc as it’s not there

Holowear gives the dress-up aspect of Pokémon people love as we have had examples like Cosplay Pikachu and with a lot of other examples like sunglasses Squirtle

Pokémon unite also just falls into the recurring category of having more to do with competitive Pokémon besides Pokémon trainer battles

Pokémon Go

Costumes similar to Holowear as a lot of the event Pok��mon had some costumes only available in Pokémon Go that were cute or at least nice to have

Overworld, stuff like pokestops to get small rewards can be nice, and also stuff like confetti falling on Pokémon day is nice

Pokken Tournament

Shadow Pokémon, can also fall in the Pokémon Go and Colosseum/XD, I think outside of story reasons having corrupted Pokémon to purify can give a modern Legends Arceus alpha and noble Pokémon approach with a Shadow Mewtwo/Lugia as the last boss

Another shake-up of how to be competitive with Pokémon

Pokémon Café Remix

Another costume one but on a lesser scale as they’re like Pokémon Go’s

Cafe in the Pokémon games for Pokémon to get benefits for the Pokémon as most are just there for decoration and in SwSh can get some of the treats

Also can be a side job in some games you keep coming back to a place and it gets better/bigger the more you do it, like park avenue but on a café scale

Magikarp Jump

Patterns

Magikarp had so many different patterns and it makes sense as especially in the anime we see Pokémon with slight differences so stuff like that gives some more uniqueness to each Pokémon but is also limited so it won’t be a Spinda situation

Pokémon Masters Ex

Another one that can fall into more ways to be competitive with Pokémon and can also be a unique redux on triple battles and costumes but on the character

Past characters appearing, characters like Red, Rosa, etc having more character and speaking, etc is great and also makes me want them to be in more games as nice appearances kinda like in Sun and Moon with Cynthia Wally Red, etc but don’t always have to relegate to postgame or super bosses as having them on the story is nice

Sync moves and Unity attacks, very much like Z moves but for everyone can be a way to not make them Alola exclusives

Pokémon Ranger

Alternate ways to catch Pokemon, don’t have to be exactly like Ranger but I think getting them can be more story-driven ways that do not gift Pokemon just because plus they are optional

i know nothing about pokemon but tell us about the oc!!!

Editing this to put it under the cut bc it is a LONG post whoops

okay so one thing to establish right out the gate is that I am even more inconsistent in Elly’s lore than dc is with their canon so this will all be subject to change the second I get dlc/a new game/really anything

But that aside!

She’s from my own fakemon region (based on Pangaea, I named it Pantoria) but her moms are from Kanto and Paldea. Her first mom’s name is Lucy and is a former Kanto and Johto champion, whereas her other mom’s name is Illumina, though during her trainer days she was known as Illumina La Serena, and she was a Kalos Champion and has also achieved the Champion rank in Paldea. So right off the bat Elly has already been raised alongside some pretty strong Pokémon and battlers.

Lucy moves to Galar temporarily for work and takes Elly with her, and then Elly befriends Hop and they take on the Gym challenge together. She picks Sobble, and names him Lulo. Then everything goes wrong but they save the day and she catches Eternatus. Her mom, who also caught a legendary at age ten, is unfazed. Largely bc Lucy caught Mewtwo, though she had since chosen to release them.

Then comes the post game, where Elly also catches Zacian. Hop decides to become a Pokémon professor and they have their little dlc adventures, and Elly catches even more legendary Pokémon in the Crown Tundra. Lucy’s sister Johanna (who is actually the mom in brilliant diamond but I chose to change that) takes her in for a bit so she can see the sinnoh region, and all of that happens. (I haven’t actually finished brilliant diamond but I have an idea of what happens). While she’s in Sinnoh Arceus decides that she’s the perfect candidate to send back in time to save the world.

So now she’s in Hisui, with no memories, and she gets a Rowlet that she names Dart. Dart does not evolve into the Decidueye Elly felt that she should have expected, but hey, she has no memories anyway, so who is she to question anything?

She fixes all the problems with the frenzied lord and lady pokemon, then survives for a bit in the wild, and clears her name, AND saves the world. And then she meets arceus, who returns her home, though she is allowed to return to Hisui when she wants (bc im a sucker for friendships and I can’t just leave them behind. Also she literally catches Dialga. The time god).

Of course, there’s no time to process this, bc it’s time for school! Summers over, kids. She goes back to Illumina in Paldea and is enrolled in Naranja Academy, where she (you guessed it) saves the world and becomes a champion rank trainer. Nowadays, with the treasure hunt over for her, she publishes an online Pokémon fact magazine with hop, hangs out with her paldean school friends, and time travels back to Hisui sometimes to show Laventon future pokedexes.

All that’s left now is for her to become a Champion in Pantoria! Unfortunately, Pantoria is absolutely massive, bc I decided since my region was fake there was no point cutting corners about it, and has a gym for Every Type. And then extra, if you thought that was too easy. And there’s new types. And there are requests, and every kind of mini activity to complete. There’s also a rough estimate of 600+ characters to befriend, if I did my maths right, based on the amount of towns and other things in the region. So currently Elly is on that adventure, on which she invited all of her friends from present-day games. What could possibly go wrong?

Also wow I didn’t think I was writing that much. Elly has lore, and then she has LORE. she’s my little guy <3

Finished the storyline for Teal Mask. Not going to talk about spoilers - aside from location mentions maybe - but I'm definitely curious to see how certain things will pan out in Indigo Disk.

Instead, I am going to ramble about random bits of the lore I've been building for Araceli and some of her Pokémon. It has been a bit of a puzzle figuring out Araceli's personality separate from the game storyline, but it has been fun as well. Getting closer to a point where I'm more comfortable translating save file events into fic/lore events.

tl;dr rambling contained below the read-more.

Araceli is Paldean born, but not Paldean raised. Between the ages of six months and fifteen years she and her parents lived abroad, first in Hoenn and then Kanto. Her father is a nature photographer while her mother is a research assistant who works for both Birch and Oak. In the summer following her fifteenth birthday she learns that both of her parents were going on research expeditions. Her father will be going to the Lental Region to help Professor Mirror's team study the Illumina phenomenon. Her mother is going to the Sevii Islands to follow up on rumors of Mythical and Legendary Pokémon there. It is ultimately decided that Araceli will be sent to stay with her maternal aunt in Cabo Poco, given the uncertain timeframes of both expeditions and potential dangers therein. She is decidedly NOT HAPPY about this but fails to come up with a convincing argument to change her parents' minds. Thus she finds herself shipped back to Paldea just a few weeks before the new term starts at Naranja Academy, where she gets dragged into the game's storyline.

Some random information about her:

She initially enrolls in the Arts track at Naranja but switches over to the Sciences track following the events in Area Zero.

She has nightmares about what happened in the Zero Lab; rather than talk about them to anyone, she uses them as fuel to further her ambition to help the Paradox Pokémon in her care. Something good has to come out of the whole ordeal (besides Arven's breakthrough).

She has trouble with test taking and in-class learning. One on one tutoring sessions with her teachers are the main things keeping her academically afloat, in addition to extra credit opportunities.

The events of the DLC will be part of her lore, but there will be a two year gap between the Zero Lab incident and her visit to Kitakami. She will be spending some time in Galar during that two year gap for a semester or two of student exchange.

Chase is the first shiny Araceli sees in the wild, but is not the first one she catches. He calls the ruins above Alfornada home. It is here that he and Araceli cross paths. She stumbles across him while on a field trip and attempts to capture him. He is too high level for her and ends up chasing her off instead. She finds him again a few months later. By that point she is a much better trainer. He, however, has been worn down by territorial disputes and is in rough shape. Distrustful of her at first after she battles and captures him, her efforts to nurse him back to health make him warm up to her. Now he is part of her main team and goes where she does. Anyone who dares touch a single hair on her head will find themselves on the wrong end of a Thunder Fang if he has anything to say about it.

Victory is Araceli's baby and no one can tell him otherwise. Not that there are many who would argue with a Charizard. Hatched from an egg sent to her by her mother, Araceli is the only parent he has ever known. Her work was cut out for her while raising him. He was a cute but bitey little Charmander and an overeager Charmeleon prone to unintentionally setting fires. Patience and dedication built a strong bond between trainer and Pokémon, however. By the time he evolved into a Charizard he was as well behaved as you please - so long as you are Araceli. Victory is a heavy hitting member of her main team and has helped her out of many tight spots in battle. He loves a good fight and thinks nothing of going up against the likes of Titans. He is also quite the fan of napping in sunbeams and pestering his trainer for chin and head scratches.

Quake is not one of her usual battling partners but is much beloved by her nonetheless. Araceli developed great fondness and sympathy for the Great Tusk while observing him in the Asado Desert. Though he was a Titan she found him to be more or less peaceful - so long as he was left alone. Despite getting close enough to him to nearly be trampled on several times he never attacked her. Battling him to get the Herba Mystica was the most difficult Titan battle simply because she felt so bad about provoking him. She captured him primarily so no one else could, fearing what might happen to him otherwise. (It caused a fight between her and Arven at the time, as he did not agree with her actions at all, saying that the Great Tusk was too dangerous. She firmly disagreed.) In the time since capturing him Araceli has put a lot of effort into making him comfortable and safer to interact with. He frequently spends time with Dida and Padma, Araceli's shiny Donphan and Copperajah, as part of their 'herd'.

Kevin is another Pokémon that Araceli rarely battles with but spends a good amount of time gentling. There is little known about Kevin's species - they aren't even mentioned much in literature beyond the name Walking Wake. They have to be some kind of Paradox Pokémon but Araceli has only ever encountered Kevin, and that was while she was in a Raid den, not Area Zero. Does this mean that more Paradox Pokémon have escaped into the wilds beyond the Great Crater? It is a troubling thought. Kevin, at least, seems to be quite fond of her, which is a bit of a problem in and of itself given just how big Kevin is. She's been putting in a lot of work to make Kevin safer to be around, but there is a long way still to go.

okay so for employee trainer i think i'd go with nino cause all in all i think he'd be really chill but also he would be a decent enough teacher so yeah; for lab parter i'd go with aidan because even though he's an ai so he can't physically help he'd probably know exactly what to do so i wouldn't have to do any thinking (and also because i wouldn't really feel safe being trapped in an elevator with him for Multiple Reasons lol) and finally for the elevator i'd go with venti because if there were vents of any kind in there he would be able to teleport us out and even if there weren't i feel like chatting with him for a bit would still be really fun! thanks for asking!

So for another non canon MCC idea (the first one being proximity chat) I would want to see one where the teams aren't meant to be balanced but the teams are based in team names.

For example: (obviously people are in multiple teams here but it's just examples)

Red Roomies could be Dream, Sapnap, Fruit and Illumina

Blue Bisexuals could be Puffy, Niki, Illumina, TapL

Fuchsia Floridians could be Dream, BBH, Krinios, Krtzyy

Lime Leos could be Dream, Jack Manifold, Corpse, Vikk

Overview

New Pokemon Snap is a previously announced video game in which players will take on the role of a budding Pokemon photographer in the Lental region. There they will work with Professor Mirror, the region’s expert, on an ecological survey to photograph Pokemon thriving in nature. The game will be available on April 30, 2021, on the Nintendo Switch family of systems.

Wild Pokemon thrive on the islands of the Lental region, where environments can differ greatly, making for a variety of habitats where different Pokemon expressions and behaviors can be observed. Players will be able to get their attention by playing a melody or throwing fluffruit. They’ll also be able to use an Illumina orb (an invention of Professor Mirror’s) on Pokemon to witness something out of the ordinary. They can even use their camera to run scans, which can help them find hidden Pokemon or inspect their surroundings. As players keep researching a course, their research level there will increase, and they may discover Pokemon acting in different ways. Trainers may even encounter Legendary Pokemon or Mythical Pokemon.

A photo’s score will be based on the subjects’ poses, how large they appear, how directly they’re facing the camera, and where they fall in frame. Each photo will get one to four stars, indicating how common or rare the behavior displayed is. Players will have to take many photos to fill out their Photodex, which is their collection of Pokemon photographs.

Photos taken while conducting research can also be saved to a personal album, which is separate from the Photodex. When a course is completed, players can use the re-snap function to adjust the brightness, blur, zoom, and other aspects of their recently snapped photos. Hey, question for the mun here. How would you like to handle the lental region from new Pokemon snap? For fun id like to submit a hilariously bad like..cryptid style shot of a few pokemon (here was thinking a legendary for a laugh) but after reading your guidelines I'm not sure. And it dont recall lental being discussed all that much. Tysm, have a good day!

{Also an excellent question! Lemme answer this as a general note about regions. All of the canon ones in the games + the Orange Islands exist, but they're often overlaid with the regions they're based on, as mentioned in the guidelines. So Kanto is literally Kanto, Johto is literally Johto, and so on.

In cases where there is no actual real-world basis for the region in question (such as the Orange Islands), I like to think of them as just that: places in an alternate Earth that have no real-world equivalent. To place them, I try to dig around canon for relative locations and work from there. In the Orange Islands' case, they lie to the west of the Sevii Islands, directly south of Johto.

Lental, on the other hand, actually does have a real-world equivalent, and that's apparently the Galapagos Islands. As with its real-world counterpart, Lental is a remote region that's treated as both a nature reserve and a culturally significant site, owing to the pristine environment, the unusual Illumina phenomenon, and the ruins scattered across the region. Catching pokémon is strictly forbidden, and in fact, trainers may only enter the region only if they're there to assist with research efforts. Researchers, on the other hand, flock to the island, either to study the ruins or to study the pokémon and the unusual phenomena that surround them.

When it comes to legendaries/mythicals, it's known that a handful of legendaries live in Lental, and about an equal amount of researchers/research aides have been able to capture proof of this. They do appear, but the circumstances on getting them to do so tend to be difficult and often dangerous. Even fewer people know that mythicals exist in Lental, and evidence of this tends to be . . . shaky at best. A blurred photo here, a shadow there, that sort of thing.

Of course, it's also worth noting that the guidelines can be bent if the post is funny enough, so feel free to submit hilariously bad evidence!}

bubbles is an avid cosplayer. on her instagram, she posts cosplay, as well as fashion and art.

her favorite book series since she was 14 is “the illuminae files” by amie kaufman and jay kristoff. she’s writing a mixed-media novel following the footsteps of “the illuminae files,” and she admits it’s hard not to draw inspiration from the idol lifestyle. she says that there are lots of interesting people she meets, and horrible people, that would make great characters in a sci-fi novel.

bubbles can speak fluent korean with a minimal accent, because she’s been here for 7 years.

her favorite food from her home region, visayas in the philippines, is chicken inasal. her favorite korean food is samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly bits). she used to restrain her intake of samgyeopsal, but now lets herself get lost in the fun of a samgyeopsal restaurant and order until she’s full. her one complaint is that it drills a real hole in her pocket to keep on eating samgyeopsal all the time. she has to be smart about cash, though her grandmother likes to say that no money spent on food is wasted money.

she chose the stage name bubbles instead of the suggested ones, “summer” and “sunshine.” she says she didn’t want her cultural and ethnic heritage to be exoticized; there’s more to her than being from a tropical southeast asian country. “bubbles” alludes to a handful of things. one, her singing has been described as sweet as bubblegum as well as clear and bright, much like bubbles. two, she’s a bubbly person (and would very much not like to be sexualized at her age).

biography.

jomary was born in tagbilaran, philippines, on the island of bohol. growing up, there was never any shortage of tall tales and myths; the visayans have a heritage of rich folk stories, after all. but jomary was more than just another listener: she could actually hear those creatures, and more. well, she believed so. “talawan,” they’d tease her. (coward.) if she was lucky, the word was affectionate. but sometimes, it was cruel, hurled at her with other sorts of barbs, if not downright physical harassment.

she was an odd duck. although her good grades and status as one of her class’s top swimmers kept her from being at the lowest of the popularity food chain, there was no denying that her peers found her weird and pathetic. many would rub salt in the wound whenever she lost tournaments; they’d joke about how she probably heard a siyokoy (a kind of malevolent creature in their mythology that pulls innocent humans from the water and kills them) in the pools, and that’s why she didn’t win, things like that. she heard them, and they knew she did, but they didn’t quite care. the worst part was that, in a way, it was true. her anxiety did not leave her, even when she was in her element.

at 12 years old, jomary and her single mother alyzza left for south korea after alyzza married a korean man, siwoo. when they arrived, jomary didn’t want siwoo to think that she or her mother were gold-diggers, as people loved accusing filipinos. sure, their life back in the philippines was less comfortable, but it didn’t mean that alyzza married for money. fortunately, siwoo was a good man who didn’t bear prejudices against southeast asians.

not everybody was the same. par for the course, bubbles was subject to a lot of colorism and racism in this new country. one of her saving graces was that she naturally had a petite build. her new friends in korea praised her for her incredibly small body. although they had good intentions, this actually exacerbated her self-loathing, especially when siwoo and alyzza encouraged her to audition for a kpop agency.

at 16, she was accepted. she was thin, but not thin enough. her trainers at the agency repeated her friends’ words and made them monstrous: you’re so thin! but you could be thinner. you should be thinner. jomary let herself be put on a harsh diet and the girl developed anorexia.

this was simple compromise, the girl reasoned. she refused to start bleaching her brown skin, as her company requested, so it was fair that she stopped eating so she’d become as thin as she could be. right? right? although her mother and stepdad loved her, they did not understand the gravity of the situation, especially because jomary was skilled at pretending that it wasn’t that severe.

and then, right before she was set to debut in a girl group in 2019, she lost on king of the masked singer. she didn’t even make it past the first round — how come, when her voice was sweet as bubblegum yet able to be solid and stable? well, the general public thought otherwise. she was shaking and her voice wobbled all throughout her performance. rumors hounded her and her company, accusing jomary of being high on drugs.

the people around her knew she wasn’t, however. particularly after she nearly fainted backstage. they took her to the hospital and then discovered that she had an eating disorder. after clearing up the scandal, her company kicked her out nonetheless. her trainee period halted. she was both relieved and miserable.

audition.

in an interview, bubbles shared that she felt as if she hadn’t been trained for three years. “this feels like a brand-new beginning for me,” she said. “i was awfully nervous until i realized that i feel revitalized by the fresh start that ring of fire has given me.”

she jaunted on to the stage and, true to her word, provided a performance that our panel found “refreshing.” one judge praised her lovely, crystal-clear voice.

“i’m sure that audiences around the globe will appreciate her cute charms,” remarked another.

“but we know she can do more. she was holding back, that’s evident. it will certainly pose a problem if she never learns how to conquer her nerves.”

Résumé : Puck n'est pas jaloux. Et si Rachel veut passer tout son temps avec Sam, c'est elle que ça regarde. Non, Puck n'est vraiment pas jaloux.

Puck n'aurait pas pu dire quand est-ce que ça avait commencé. Il avait remarqué leur petit manège il y a quelques jours lorsqu'il les avait vu assis l'un à côté de l'autre au Glee Club. Et ils avaient l'air proche. Aux dernières nouvelles, Rachel et Sam s'étaient à peine adressés deux mots depuis que ce dernier avait rejoint le club. Pourtant maintenant, ils avaient toujours l'air d'être ensemble. Dans les couloirs, à la cafétéria et maintenant ils chantaient un duo.

Rachel et Finn s'étaient séparés il y a plusieurs semaines et la relation entre Sam et Santana avait tourné court. Peut-être que c'était un plan pour les rendre jaloux. Venant de Rachel, ça n'étonnerait pas Puck et il savait que si elle le voulait, elle pouvait convaincre n'importe qui à suivre ses plans et Sam n'a pas dû y échapper. Ça ne pouvait être que ça, se dit Puck. Après tout, ce n'était pas comme s'ils avaient beaucoup de choses en communs.

« Je ne savais pas qu'ils sortaient ensemble, dit Lauren à la fin de la chanson. »

Quoi ? Non, ils ne sortaient pas ensemble. Il serait au courant.

« Non, répondit-il. Sam n'est pas le genre de Berry. »

Et puis, il était ami avec Rachel, elle lui aurait dit. Ce n'était qu'un plan.

Une semaine était passée, Kurt était revenu à McKinley. Karofsky s'était excusé mais personne ne savait s'il était sincère ou pas. En plus, Santana était derrière tout ça et Puck savait qu'elle avait quelque chose en tête. Il ne l'avouerait jamais à personne, mais ça l'avait manqué de ne plus voir Kurt au Glee Club. Après tout, comme Brittany lui avait dit un jour, ils étaient une famille.

Sam et Rachel avaient passé toute la semaine collés l'un à l'autre. Puck ne savait pas pourquoi, mais ça l'énervait. Il avait bien essayé d'interroger Rachel, mais tout ce qu'elle lui avait répondu, c'était un simple : « On est ami. » et tout ce qu'il avait envie de dire c'était : « Depuis quand ? ». C'est vrai que Puck et Rachel étaient amis depuis qu'ils étaient sortis ensemble, mais il avait quand même peur de la réponse de la jeune fille. Pourtant la curiosité avait pris le dessus et il décida de parler à Sam à la fin de leur entrainement de football.

« On te voit souvent trainer avec Berry ces derniers temps, engagea Puck. »

Sam lui lança un regard, se demandant pourquoi il lui disait ça.

« Oui, répondit-il. D'ailleurs, je me demande pourquoi Santana m'a dit de ne pas m'approcher d'elle. Elle est cool. »

Merci, j'avais remarqué, pensa Puck. Et bien avant lui.

« Elle est sympa et elle ne me trouve ni bizarre, ni stupide. »

Sam finit de se préparer, attrapa son sac et sortit des vestiaires. Au final, Puck n'en avait pas appris plus et Sam ne lui avait pas dit s'ils sortaient ensemble. Qu'est-ce que Rachel pouvait bien lui trouver ? Il n'était pas très intelligent. Bon d'accord, lui-même n'était pas le mieux placer pour dire ça, mais au moins, il ne faisait pas de mauvaises imitations de Dark Vador.

Les garçons du Glee Club se trouvaient chez Finn et Kurt pour une soirée jeux vidéos. Blaine était également présent avec Kurt. Bien sûr, ce dernier aurait préféré passer une soirée entre filles avec Rachel et Mercedes, mais il avait envie de passer du temps avec Blaine. Et puis, passer sa soirée devant un écran à jouer à des jeux vidéos pouvait peut-être être amusant. Enfin, il l'espérait. Blaine tenta de lui expliquer les règles, mais rien n'y faisait. Décidément, les jeux vidéos ce n'étaient pas pour lui.

Le téléphone que Sam avait posé sur la table basse se mit à vibrer et le prénom de Rachel s'afficha. Ce qui n'échappa pas à Puck. Un immense sourire illumina le visage de Sam. Il se leva et se dirigea vers la porte.

« Et la partie ! S'exclama Puck. -J'en ai pas pour longtemps, je reviens. »

Il sortit sous le regard meurtrier de Puck. Ce n'était pas suffisant qu'ils se voient toute la journée au lycée, il fallait encore que Rachel l'appelle le soir ! Kurt observa toute la scène et lança un regard à Puck.

« Tu vas bien ? Demanda le jeune homme. -Ouais, marmonna Puck. »

Kurt savait bien qu'il mentait. Depuis qu'il était revenu à McKinley, il avait bien remarqué les regards que lançait Puck à Rachel. Bien sûr, ils étaient amis tous les deux, mais peut-être que pour Puck, c'était plus que ça. Kurt se leva et s'assit à côté de lui. Il y a encore un an, il n'aurait jamais osé aborder le sujet avec Puck.

« Ça t'ennuie que Rachel appelle Sam ? Demanda-t-il. -Pas du tout. »

Si, ça l'ennuyait et Kurt comprit que Puck ressentait plus que de l'amitié pour Rachel, même s'il ne s'en rendait pas compte.

« On dirait que tu es jaloux, poursuivit Kurt. -Ne raconte pas n'importe quoi, je ne suis pas jaloux. Et si elle veux être avec un imbécile comme Evans, ça la regarde. -Oui, tu n'es pas du tout jaloux, ça se voit. »

Puck fixa la télévision et Kurt ne put s'empêcher de sourire, amusé par la situation.

« Je sais de source sûre qu'ils ne sont pas ensemble, dit-il. Rachel me l'a dit. »

Puck semblait se détendre.

« Tu devrais lui parler, continua Kurt. Et lui expliquer que tu n'es pas jaloux. »

Puck se renfrogna et lui donna un coup de poing dans le bras. Kurt laissa échapper un gémissement de douleur et se massa le bras. Heureusement qu'ils étaient amis, sinon il n'oserait pas imaginer ce que Puck aurait pu lui faire dans le cas contraire.

Puck referma brutalement la porte de son casier. Il n'avait pas réussi à fermer l'œil de la nuit. Il n'arrêtait pas de penser à ce que Kurt lui avait dit. Et c'est vrai, il était jaloux. Il n'aimait pas que Rachel soit proche de Sam et il avait fini par se rendre compte qu'il avait toujours des sentiments pour elle. Mais il était avec Lauren et même s'il ne voulait pas la faire souffrir, il devait rompre avec elle et aller parler à Rachel. Pour une fois, il voulait faire les choses bien. Lauren arriva et se plaça à côté de lui.

« Il faut qu'on parle Puckerman, dit-elle. -J'ai quelque chose à te dire aussi. -Laisse-moi commencer. »

Puck acquiesça et la laissa parler.

« Je crois qu'on devrait arrêter tous deux. -Pardon ! »

Il s'attendait à tout sauf à ça.

« Ne le prend pas mal, continua Lauren, mais entre nous, ça colle pas. Et puis, on aura bientôt finit McKinley, on ira à l'université et je n'ai pas envie de m'encombrer avec un petit ami de lycée. -D'accord. »

Même s'il savait qu'elle avait raison, ce n'était jamais agréable à entendre. Lauren partit, mais au bout de quelques pas, se retourna vers à lui.

« Je suis très observatrice Puckerman, continua-t-elle. Tu devrais parler à Rachel. Je suis sûre qu'il lui faudra peu pour qu'elle accepte de te mettre dans ses bagages pour New-York. Mais à ta place je n'attendrai pas trop longtemps, tu as de la concurrence. »

Lauren lui lança un sourire et partit en direction de son prochain cour. Puck ne put s'empêcher de sourire également. Il ne s'était pas trompé sur Lauren Zizes, elle était vraiment géniale.

L'entrainement de football s'était terminé il y a une demie heure et Puck se trouvait maintenant dans les gradins du terrain. Les cheerleaders étaient rentrées sur le terrains et Puck pouvait entendre le coach Sylvester vociférer de là où il était. Apparemment, elle avait reprit du poil de la bête depuis la défaite de Aural Intensity aux Régionales. Quelqu'un s'avança vers lui et il vit qu'il s'agissait de Rachel. Celle-ci lui sourit et s'assit à côté de lui.

« Lauren m'a dit que tu voulais me parler, dit-elle. »

Quoi ? Il ne lui avait jamais dit ça. C'est alors qu'il comprit que Lauren cherchait à l'aider. Il la remercia intérieurement et décida que c'était le moment de saisir sa chance. On pouvait dire ce qu'on voulait sur lui, mais il n'était pas un lâche. Et même si elle ne ressentait pas la même chose que lui, si elle avait des sentiments pour Sam ou Finn ou n'importe qui, au moins, elle saurait.

« Oui, j'ai quelque chose à te dire. »

Il avait l'impression d'avoir fait un bond en arrière, quand il y a deux ans ils se trouvaient assis sur ces mêmes gradins et où ils avaient décidé de rompre. L'une des nombreuses erreurs qu'il avait commis, pensa-t-il.

« Lauren et moi, on n'est plus ensemble, dit Puck. »

Rachel écarquilla les yeux, surprise. Elle lui prit la main et la serra.

« Je suis désolée, dit-elle. Je peux aller lui parler si tu veux… -Non, la coupa Puck. Ça va aller. Écoute Rachel, on est ami. Mais quand j'ai vu que tu passais tout ton temps avec Sam, ça m'a rendu dingue. Je crois que j'étais jaloux. -Jaloux ? »

Puck soupira. Pourquoi c'était aussi compliqué ? Il remarqua que Rachel ne lui avait toujours pas lâché la main. Peut-être que c'était un bon signe. Ce qui l'encouragea à continuer.

« Je ne suis pas doué pour toutes ses grandes déclarations. Tu me plais. Je sais que ça fait longtemps qu'on n'est plus ensemble, mais on était bien le temps que ça a duré. Alors, je me disais que l'on pourrait peut-être recommencer. »

Il sentit les lèvres de Rachel se poser sur les siennes, ce qui le fit taire immédiatement. Il profita de ce baiser qui ne dura à peine quelques secondes.

« Désolée, dit Rachel gênée. -Ne le sois pas. »

Puck lui caressa la joue et l'embrassa à nouveau. Il croyait qu'il avait été amoureux de Lauren, mais ce n'était rien comparé à ce qu'il pouvait ressentir à ce moment là pour Rachel. Ils finirent par se séparer et Puck ne put s'empêcher de sourire. Rachel, elle, semblait être dans le même état.

« Alors, fit Puck. On est de nouveau ensemble ? -On dirait bien, lui sourit Rachel. J'ai longtemps eu des sentiments pour toi et maintenant, je sais que je ressentais plus que de l'amitié. »

Ils s'embrassèrent de nouveau, profitant de ce moment. Puck avait enfin droit à une seconde chance et il ferait tout pour ne pas la gâcher.
