((I’m back on my ‘I’m bored so let’s write something else that’s been on my mind’ grind. @signorinavongola Consider this to be a bit of background for the thread that we have.))

“Sensei, what’s all this?” A kid walked up to Haru with an old album full of hand drawn pictures. She used to doodle a lot in her younger years as she daydreamed about what her future was going to be like. Future costumes she wanted to make, some of which she did bring into the world.

What a nostalgic sight, it brought a smile onto her face to see it.

“See? This one, what’s that?”

Haru follows where their finger was pointing to stop at a design a younger Haru had drawn up of a wedding dress. Her smile falters slightly, “That… was a wedding dress that I designed for myself when I was younger. I’d always dreamed about becoming a June bride and having a family…” She gingerly traces the outlines of the dress with a bittersweet smile.

“Why didn’t you?”

More of the kids start to crowd around her, curious about the topic at hand.

There were a lot of reasons as to why she couldn’t achieve her dreams. She couldn’t achieve having a normal life with a normal husband if she was affiliated with the mafia. Looking at all the kids in the room with her, she smiles gently, patting some of them on the heads, ruffling their hair affectionately.

Having seen the way that the mafia could rip families apart directly or indirectly, she couldn’t in good conscience bring her own child into this kind of world. The vongola was making things better by regulating some of the affairs of the underground world.

There were less trafficking and senseless violence, but there were still victims to be made. The oldest kid here, Rocco (affectionally nicknamed Rokkun), was in his mid-teen years, and he was the reason why Haru chose to change the direction of her life. She’d come from a functioning household with two loving families, but these children, now orphaned, had no choice in the matter.

It broke her heart to know that if life had played its hand differently, they could’ve been with their families still. If they had been found earlier, or if a bad guy could’ve been stopped sooner—this could’ve been avoided.

“It’s because of us, isn’t it?” Rokkun speaks up and suddenly all eyes were on Haru. “You gave up your dream because of us?” Haru felt a panic rise in her heart as she drops to her knees and hugs as many of the kids she could close to her. “Of course not, don’t ever think that way. Dreams can change and there’s nothing wrong with that. I gave up on that dream so long ago, even before when someone of you kids were born.”

She wasn’t lying when she said this, as she’d already given up on marriage life even before Rocco and the rest of the kids came into the picture. Who would she even find to marry? There was no way she’d marry a regular civilian who wouldn’t be able to understand the life she’d thrown herself into.

She didn’t want to become a liability for anyone involved with the mafia, so there really wasn’t much of an option for her other than resolving to be alone.

Admittedly, there may have been a time she considered someone within the Vongola as they were affiliated with each other, but then she thought against it. It felt like a conflict of interest for one thing, but if things went south, she didn’t want to be the reason for any strained relations within the Vongola.

With that in mind, anyone from the Vongola wasn’t even to be considered.

The situation was sad, sure. Depressing, even, but this was something she thought long and hard on. It would be the most responsible thing to not add that extra factor in her life.

With the kids needing her, she didn’t want to run the risk of her husband’s enemies coming to attack this place, nor did she want to ever shift her focus away from the kids because her husband had to go off on a dangerous mission.

Sure, one could say that she was a coward for not wanting to try. That she was selfish for disregarding anyone who had any interest in her, but this is what she wanted and what she felt was best for herself in the situation she was treading.

“Why’d you give up on your dream? Why don’t you want a family?”

Haru leads the kids to the other room full of all sorts of places to sit on from bean bag chairs, throw pillows, couches and more. It was a great place to find a place to sit and read, losing yourself in a nice book. She sat herself down on a mushroom shaped stool and one of the youngest children instantly took to climbing onto her lap, almost like it was the most natural thing in the world- which it was.

While she wasn’t pompous enough to refer to herself as their parent, but she considered all the kids here to be her own. She would protect and raise them in place of their deceased parents. At least, she was doing her best to raise them the best she could for them.

“I think of you kids as my family. You know how sometimes we have nice uncles and aunties that come to visit? They’re also my family.” She didn’t need anyone else. She quite frankly didn’t have the time nor energy to have a family of her own.

It was plenty fulfilling for her to be here, watching over these kids who she would lay her life down for without a second hesitation. “My one friend has a goal that she’s trying to accomplish, and I want to help her with that. It’s a dream that I think is more important than my old one.” Tsuna was doing her best to bring the Vongola back to what it was supposed to be—a place for vigilantes to work to protect the common folk.

She’d seen the way that the Vongola had changed her childhood friend, forcing her to play her hand to the darker side of the underworld when there was no other choice. Haru could see the way that these events were changing her, and the sight of these children losing their families weren’t any help.

With how Tsuna can easily saddle herself with guilt, Haru stepped up to relieve Tsuna of at least that burden.

“I’m helping her in my own way so she can focus on what’s important. She’s working hard so no one else has to lose their families to violence and corruption.” If her watching over the children, helping them acclimate back into the world could help resolve some knots in Tsuna’s heart, it would be well worth all her efforts.

Her new dream was to create a better place for people to live in, and to prevent one more orphaned child due to the mafia. She was doing her part to make the process smoother, and hopefully she’ll be able to see the day when no children would have to be sacrificed to the mafia’s greed.

Having always been the type to prioritize others over herself, it was a no brainer for her to readily give up on marriage among other dreams for the sake of these children.

She remembers how she told Tsuna, "Hey, you know that i'm great with kids. They adore me too. I'm patient and i'm smart. I think I could help these kids by raising them and helping them resolve through their traumas. Let me do this. These children deserve a caretaker who can love them like her own and you know I can give that to them."

It took a bit of convincing on all accounts, but she finally won out. Whenever they find a child in need of a relaxing environment to heal at, the child would be escorted to Japan where Haru was watching over other children.

These children have quickly become her life, and every day was a treasure for her, watching as they went through milestones in recovery. It made it all so worth it.

“How about this? If you’re so concerned about me giving up on my dreams, you can help me. If you find me someone nice, maybe I’ll get married, and you all can be in my wedding.” She’s half-joking as she doesn’t intend to get married for the reasons above, but who knows what the future holds?

The children are excited at the prospect of helping her find someone. “They have to be nice!” “And tall to reach the shelves!”

Wait- that doesn’t have to be a criteria.

“They need to open jars that Sensei can’t open.”

Haru giggles, finding it endearing that their scope was so… cute. “Guess I’m getting married to a step stool and a jar opener.” They’re just too cute, these kids.

It was unfortunate that life didn’t pan out the way it should’ve for these kids, but she was doing her best to rehabilitate them and to raise them to be strong and independent kids. They’ll be able to venture out into the world and forge their own paths. They can get married and start their own families.

Ah—she’s going to cry just thinking about it. She won’t be ready to say goodbye to any of them.

They’re her kids.

“Sensei is crying.”

“Add ‘always has tissues to the list.’ Sensei needs that.”

Summary: This is an AU of loosingletters' The Background Noise Of Defiance verse. Instead of Luke inadvertently revealing to his anonymous holonet friend that his last name is Skywalker, thus revealing himself as the son of said holonet friend (yes, Darth Vader has a Space Twitter), he keeps mum and instead takes on Vader's job offer, becoming the new Head Engineer aboard the Executor, alias, the Lady. While he's thrilled to be there, thriving on getting to improve the lackluster hardware that gets shunted onto the rank-and-file of the Empire and building up a rapport with the mysterious Sith Lord who is fast becoming the father figure he never had, not everyone aboard is as happy about the young engineer shaking up the previously well-cemented hierarchy of the Lady. But ask Luke and Vader if they care. All Piett knows is that this is gonna be one hell of a headache and way above his paygrade. At least he gets to see his boss be put in his place by a teenage engineer and Lord Vader himself.

My thoughts: Can get a little cheesy, but it’s so good. 10/10. They’re having a good family time without knowing they’re family.

Here's my poster of my official version of my version for my DisneyElseWorld's Pixar's...

INSIDE OUT 2!

I saw the new Inside Out 2 trailer, and they made Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy bad by betraying the old emotions. Lots of crazy stuff is about to happen! We don't know what's going on, lots of details are there too. But what would the ElseWorld version be like?

SO!

For my idea. I have 6 new emotions, the OC emotions like, Courage, Surprise, Pride, Trust, Shame, and Frustration.

MAIN VILLAIN

I am using on of my oc's Ego de Spite, to be the main villain of the au second movie.

OTHER CHARACTERS

Characters like Zee, the assistant of Ego, she runs the business with him but she tries to avoid him to help others. Bud, Courage's blood cell buddy, he doesn't speak but he's sweet, nervous, cute and got some attitude. And Brain, the big boss of Riley's mind, and the emotions need his help to stop Ego. And Mother Esteem, sweet old mind lady but very big (Disclaimer: Not in the poster).

I'm making a persona 5 au of svsss (au in that it was the modern world that was the au, and sy brought something along with him), and I'm having a lot of fun with it!

Sy dies the same way as in canon, but this time as the leader/a member of the Chinese branch of phantom thieves (when and how a Chinese branch was made can be handwaved). He's a fellow wild card, a fool arcana, he's got third eye and a fully realised but unawakened persona.

When he awakes in sqq's body, he starts on as canon, but starts to notice strange fluctuations on qj that indicate the presence of the meta verse - and not only that, but a palace. The system notices the mysterious appearance of a new program it can't delete - the meta nav.

Without the key words, however, Sqq can't get in. He can't find who it belongs to, nor what it might be. One thing is for certain though: lbh cannot find out. The blackened protagonist with free reign of the meta verse? An undoubtedly powerful persona of his own?? It'd be the breakdown incidents all over again! He wouldn't stand a chance!

It takes a lot of arguing with the system about narrative directions and plot holes for it to not direct him to the nearest ripple in reality. In dreams, igor agrees (he has a lot to say about his new situation, but Sqq kinda ignores it).

Then, one day, he finds a fluctuation strong enough to fit a human, and slips right through, his scifi fantasy ninja outfit appears in flames, and he is faced with the distortion of qing jing peak - roiling dark clouds, bamboo towering impossibly far over his head, brown leaves thick on the ground and a thunderous gong ringing from somewhere down the path.

A coliseum.

Screams ring out, metal clashes, beasts roar.

And standing in front of the metal grill gate, tall and bedazzled in riches and more unmarked than shen yuan has ever seen him, is shen qingqiu.

What is persona if not themes of the inner self and fighting literal inner demons and learning to love, both yourself and others, and overcoming tragedy?

There are some things I'm still unsure of, but I really want to explore the idea of the ghost of sj lingering on, still haunting the narrative and how that affects everyone. Normally, when a palace ruler is killed, their palace crumbles as well, but with Sqq still walking around and the systems intervention with his soul (having not died then in canon) the original goods wouldn't be fully gone.

The soul is! It's not sjs ghost, but rather his shadow. Real souls cannot live in the meta verse. But with the real deal gone, sy would be unable to affect him in order to make his way through the palace to the treasure the way a normal heist would go. Instead, he'd have to learn about sj himself, uncovering secrets and dispelling rumours. As the new Sqq, he would have to change his perspective and uncover the story behind the scum villain in order to progress. Remove the distorted perspective from himself.

Mini bosses would be a bad faith interpretation of yqy from sjs perspective, qiu haitang as she was at the manor. Enemies would be the coliseum guards and jailers, the shadow populace qj disciples in general misery, often forced to fight each other or monsters as sj watches on from the top seat. Nyy would sit with him. Poor shadow lbh would be a prime gladiator slave, suffering constant defeat. Sin: envy. I really want to focus on the fact he is both abuser and survivor, and his 'I suffered, thus so should you' thing. A bit like p5 strikers in that.

The plot would be basically Sqq handling both the canon events of svsss and also his investigation into sj, tracing paper trails of slave documents, hunting for potential secrets in the bamboo house, learning about the ghost backstab incident from lqg (which leads him to airplane), building up the courage to go down and talk to the brothel ladies, carefully teasing bits of history out of yqy. Also beating up shadows with a jojo stand and a .7 calibre sniper rifle he can fire like an automatic in his spare time. (if you don't know, persona lets you hold shadows at gunpoint for cash and items, but also flirt, threaten and bribe. Also you can ambush them and sometimes collect them like pokemon it's fun.)

The final battle would have the palace ruler sj transform into his final form (I'm thinking something with chains) but there absolutely has to be a human duel for the first phase, xiu ya to xiu ya. The surrendering of the crown would end in a hug, and sj performing a sincere but bastardised version of the peak lord crowning ceremony before he dissipates, and the coliseum starting to crumble and burn. As for the treasure... In the distorted world, an elaborate peak lord ceremonial crown, in the real world, an old, worn hair ribbon.

If I wrote it, I'd probably keep it shorter. Just the one palace, maybe sqh awakens his persona by virtue of being squirrelly and getting on his last nerve™. I'm thinking of the 'what don't I dare when it comes to you?!' because if that isn't a persona awakening scene I don't know what is. Conquering the bamboo palace would free qj from some 'unnamable' dark cloud and just in time to push lbh in the abyss (the palace time limit bring that sjs spirit would cruelly push lbh into the abyss rather than sy doing it (and being kinder about it)).

If it was longer, more persona users would awaken, despite sqq's best attempts. Liu qingge, ning yingying, shang qinghua obviously, gongyi xiao, zhuzhi lang maybe (they'd both live). A real motley crew. There'd be more palaces along the journey, each with it's own deadline - old palace master, lbh (though his palace would have the gimmick of being actually xin mo's), tianlang Jun, qiu haitang. Sj would still be the overarching palace, this time being the only one without a deadline maybe, and the story would end with a 'not sj' reveal for the new phantom thieves (with a side order of 'we already know and care for you anyway').

A sequel would be shorter: sy visits qiong ding for the first time since its all calmed down and realises that the distortions of a palace are still there, that they weren't a product of the bamboo palace. Yqy has a palace (because you can't tell me that man is mentally well). For a side of angst maybe the sy reveal was more open secret for the need to knows rather than strictly 'whoever witnessed two identical versions of Sqq trying to kill each other' and Yqy develops the palace as a result of not taking that well.

In comparison to the others, Yqy is the strongest cultivator alive, has been sitting on a soul deep distortion and trauma for decades since childhood, recently went through a heartbreaking reveal pointed directly at every single one of those issues, and oh yeah, has his soul directly bound to xuan su.

His palace's difficulty level is nightmarish. The corrupt version of the lingxi caves is a terrifying subterranean crawl through blood soaked caverns and bottomless pits. The gimmick is that near everything wants to suck your soul out. The only saving grace is that distortions are not inherently malicious, and they manage to lever that to their advantage. Unlike the others, yqys palace does not focus on him abusing his power over others - quite the opposite, in fact.

Through murals, echoing voices, and what sy and sqh remember, they piece together his own heart demons. It's scary - outwardly, the sect leader is fine, clear headed, going about his days just fine. The bloodied caverns he sees the world through tell a different story. To gain access it's a long process of easing out stories, working through his deeply ingrained self reliance, helping him work up to confessing the truth of xuan su. Not only to xiao jius shrine, but to his closest martial siblings as well, allowing him to be vulnerable and protected as he never has been.

But Yqy follows them into the palace, curious as to why they visit his peak every day. It's unstable, very dangerous for a person to meet their shadow, but it's too late. Yqy meets his shadow self, small and furious and stuck through with a thousand swords he uses to his advantage, and does the impossible.

A palace ruler awakens a persona.

Even as a trained group, the life force powered xuan su boosted shadow is too strong - they've already failed to defeat it once. Yue qingyuan, breathing grief like air but finally ready to heal, stands for himself. Rips off the smiling mask he's been hiding behind since he was five years old and freshly a big brother. His persona is magnificent.

And just in time, too, because, uh, turns out the meta verse is the systems doing, this time. And it's evil. I'm thinking a giant brainwashing vr-esque super computer. And they defeat it with the power of friendship and also lucifer.

Chopsticks

Summary: He’d have your legs up like chopsticks by the end of the night.

Tried a writing exercise centered around one random word. Short and sweet. Might post another part if anyone’s interested. Thank you so much for reading!

He has tunnel vision. Deafens the conglomerate of sights and sounds of the restaurant in favor of you.

His firecracker of a girlfriend.

You’re just the cutest thing. Struggling to pick up your vibrantly colored nigiri with cheap, wooden chopsticks. Kyojuro is enamored. Can’t help it. He observes you through his peripheral, a grin threatening to split his face in twain. He can’t focus on what the gentleman seated across is on about, some asshat from a neighboring family. It’s good business to make friends, but Kyojuro couldn’t care less about small talk.

He’s too busy biting back a laugh because you’re a determined little thing. Brows knit and tongue poking out in concentration. Kyojuro’s finally had enough of the scene when the gentleman’s bodyguards chuckle at your plight. No one’s allowed to tease you but him.

“Like this, darling,” he states. The other man sputters at such an impolite disruption. But Tengen fills the space with idle chatter, taking the spotlight off his boss. Seamless. That’s why he’s his second in command.

Kyojuro takes up his own pair of utensils when he has your undivided attention. For him, it’s effortless—he’s used them all his life. Easily plucks a piece of sashimi from his plate, bringing it to your rouge lips.

You’re wide-eyed and reluctant at first. Caution a nibble, nonetheless. Kyojuro’s irises darken an enigmatic shade of gold at the sight. You know what you’re doing. Playing on his heartstrings, making him dote on you in front of all these people. His eyes fasten to your every move as you chew slowly, a gratified purr rolling from your throat. He feels it in his bones. Battles the urge to curl you up and tuck you into his coat for safekeeping.

You’re a little more relaxed now if the subtle drop of your shoulders is anything to go by. You pick up your chopsticks at his urging. Give him a look of uncertainty, which he counters with a fond smile. He’s soothing as he instructs you. “Like a pencil.” Your hand is baby-soft in his. Small, fragile. He doesn’t want to let go. With some time and a few corrections, he remarks that “you are a natural.”

He's a proud instructor, watching you feed yourself. Props both his elbows on the table, cheeks in his palms. Probably has hearts in his eyes whilst he beams at you. Disgustingly enraptured by his beautiful queen. Who taught you to be so charming? It’s involuntary when he extends a brawny hand out to pat the crown of your head. “Good girl,” Kyojuro croons, praise for your ears only.

You sit up, spine ramrod stiff. Warmth blossoms through Kyojuro’s chest. He forgot how much you loved affirmations. How they weaken your knees and reduce you to a stuttering mess. Your wiry braid curls about his finger, and he tenderly tugs on it until you whimper so sweetly. What he wouldn’t give to have you on this table, spread eagle and spasming against his to—

Kyojuro’s snatched from beneath your spell at the clearing of a throat. He turns slit eyes on the bloke from before. A string of insults burns the back of his tongue, potent like bile. He sees red, though dons a customary grin.

“About that deal we discussed earlier, Rengoku-san,” the guy trails off.

Kyojuro can’t be bothered to remember his name. Fights a grimace before he feels your fingers creeping onto his quad. You give him a reassuring squeeze. Small smile in play when your eyes interlock for the briefest moment. You know he’s on edge after having his precious time with his lady interrupted. Know how to ground him, keep him tethered to Earth—and how to keep him from waging war.

He caresses your hand, committing its smoothness to memory. Abandons it in favor of your thigh, where Kyojuro kneads it in light arcs. Comes dangerously close to your center. Smirks at your sharp intake of breath whilst his knuckles graze the rim of your panties.

The rest of the evening goes on like this. A possessive palm blistering your inner thigh. Tapping your meaty flesh while Kyojuro howls with laughter at some tale his new business partner weaves. Nimble fingers hiking up your dress beneath the table, creeping their way towards your desire. He isn’t subtle at all. Bites his lip when you exchange glances, a knowing quirk to his brow. You’re positively adorable. His for the taking.

He’ll have your legs open like chopsticks before the night’s conclusion amid his posh, crimson sheets.

He’s sure of it.

Ok people, let’s get this over one last time, okay? My name is Merida DunBroch, I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and for the last two years, I’ve been the one and only Arachnid-Archer. You guys know the rest. A man threatened my family, and I fought him. Saved my Dad, and saved the city again and again. My mum doesn’t believe this is the right path for me, but I didn’t choose this path, it chose me. I was just brave enough to see it.

Merida DunBroch lives two different lives.

On one hand, she's a high school student, talented athlete and archer, older sister to mischief triplets, and daughter of high class couple; Fergus and Elinor DunBroch.

On the other side, Merida is a masked vigilante armed with a bow n arrow who got her powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Her super senses and athletic skills give her the strength to protect the city.

Every day, Merida struggles to keep her two lives separate, especially with Elinor trying to shape her daughter into a perfect lady.

(Here is another of the batch of requested lil deliveries! Next one is the last one 8) This one is for TYL Gokudera specifically for the Tsu-chan verse. Yeep, me borrowing one of my other muses for this? More likely than you’d think.))

All the other gifts have been delivered for the others, but there was one last person to deliver to. As one would expect, finding the Right hand wasn’t as easy as it could be for some of the guardians.

A busy guy had a hectic schedule, so tracking him down wasn’t the easiest thing to do. Ultimately, he’d sent a message via Kusakabe that Gokudera was to meet him in one of the meeting rooms.

The Cloudian was already irritated enough with having delivered gifts on the behalf of a certain brunette, and going on some chase of a workaholic was not his preferred idea of spending his day.

When the other arrives, the elder of the two hands Gokudera a bag. “Haru Miura sends her regards, inside the bag are what she’s prepared for you. I’ll be in Italy for a few more days, you can coordinate a return response through me.” He’s being generous, offering to deliver something to Haru should it be requested of him.

YAWN

With his role complete, he could finally leave and take his regularly scheduled nap. Without another word, he simply leaves the room.

Inside of the bag is a letter and a red box that had chocolate covered espresso beans. It would seem from the fragrance that she’d sprayed the letter with her favorite perfume.

The letter reads:

[Dear Gokudera,

Assuming Hibari-san wasn’t delayed by anything, you should’ve received this on Valentine’s day. I knew that he was going to be visiting Italy, so I asked him a tiny favor. He may have adjusted his schedule accordingly, so if his doing so brought any inconvenience to you, I apologize for that. Don’t blame him for listening to my whims.

Like every year, I’ll find a way to celebrate Valentine’s day with everyone. I know that you weren’t very partial to sweets, but I do know Italy loves their coffee, so I opted to gift you some chocolate covered espresso beans. They make for a lovely snack when you’re tired, you know?

It’s not too sweet, and it keeps for a while. Convenient for on the go, I thought. I hope you’re remembering to eat and take breaks, or your body is going to break down sooner than you think. I remember that I used to be able to deliver things in person, but that’s a bit harder to do now, for obvious reasons.

That’s just how things are though. You have your goals and ambitions and I have my place in Japan. I’m always hoping for the best and praying for your safety. I miss seeing you, but Tsu-chan needs you there, so do your best with everything, okay? I’m doing well over here with all the kids. They miss their ‘uncle grumpy’ too, huhu!

Valentine's Day asks 2023- accepting!

Carefully he opened the letter, taking in the fragrant perfume. Azalea, a common spring time flower in Japan. Most often in spring the sakura was in bloom, but he also recalled who was delivering the letter and it made sense why Haru wouldn't use that scent specifically, but chose azalea with notes of lavender with chamomile instead still befitting of her name meaning Springtime.

Haru had often prepared gifts for him with lavender and it took until now for him to recall the meaning of that specific flower, serenity, devotion, silence, purity, grace and calmness. It was an unspoken sign for him to relax. His job was hectic and stressful sometimes but knowing she was still waiting on him made it worth it.

The lavender reminded him of her, however another item drew him in, the bright red box. He'd never been fond of too many baked goods, stemming from memories of illness caused by Bianchi's cooking, therefore the espresso beans were a perfect gift. The slightly bitter coffee taste paired with the cocoa perfectly and a few of those could calm his sweet tooth on the rare occasion it acted up, he often preferred savory anyway.

He'd prepare a return gift for her. He'd held on to an article of clothing from his teen years even though he'd long since grown out of it. He sprayed it with his cologne for her to have something of his to wear for when she missed him.

Fishing out some money he wrote down a list of flowers for an arrangement to be made and sent to Haru from him. At the core, red roses, a symbol of love and passion. Pink peony for happiness, romance, love, beauty. Lavender sprigs and camellia would surround the arrangement, a symbol of devotion. Add some blue larkspur and purple heliotrope to accent the reds and pinks, meaning? First love and eternal love.

He handed it over to Hibari as he wrote a quick note.

Thank you for the lovely gifts this year. I'm sorry we have to spend the day apart, but duty calls and we were prepared for things like this when we entered this relationship. I hope you're doing well and the children are behaving. Things are hectic here sometimes, but hearing from you again makes it worth it.

Take care of the Boss and the kids for now, I'll see you soon enough.

I am indeed a fan of AUs - I cut my teeth in the Beyblade fandom with AUs because Saving popped into my head and I always said I wouldn't write canon verse until I had a very good idea - so yes, always a fan of AU.

Mariam being a boss of a mafia-type organisation would be amazing. She could absolutely do it! One of my favourite fanfics involves her in a mafia-type operation (not leading it but she's her own boss in her own way. It's the Good Left Undone which I very much recommend because it's amazing!)

So yeah, can definitely see it anon. Mariam takes names and kicks ass. She's amazing!

Psst... Viewers of this AU, I need your help.

I need your help with ideas for the bosses. I know what I am doing with one of them, but the others I have no idea. I have one other character that I'm having trouble designing, and they are crucial to the plot.

Below is a list of characters with names and descriptions. Help yourself! Credit back to me if you decide to design them.. you don't have to though!

Persnickety - Tapi, Crystal and Pudding's landlord. He keeps the Super Tea for the Boss Fights captive. If you pay the fee, he'll unlock the cage and the door to the Boss. HOWEVER, you can choose not to take the tea with you to the Boss fight.

Dark Mochi - Floor 1's boss. She's a lady made of the darkest mochi. She's cold, and.. well she has a morbid sense of humor. She's also humanoid, much unlike the main verse's first boss.. but like, not 100% a human (obviously).

Melanna - Floor 2's boss. An excavator who uses bombs and fights with a pickaxe. They are based on melon-pan, and tend to be a hot-head at the worst of times.

Oni-Cheery - Floor 3's boss. Because of how open the area is, spirits can go into the tower. And this young oni (themed after onigiri) is no exception! He can literally create thunder just by yelling.. or maybe it's from playing? It's hard to say.

Bo-Bots - Technically, only one of them is a Boss, the one that's based on Tapi herself. Apparently that one's the leader? The other 7 are stationed elsewhere in the Tower. But you like.. only see 4 of the 7. The other two have heavy protection against reprogramming.

(And uh.. I'll design the final boss. Leave that one to me. I do have an idea for them.)

A Guide to the OCs of Leda Verse (mostly for my own amusement because I was trained to make reference tools) presented in order of appearance (with ratings because why not)

Blue Toby- The guy Eddy took out with a crowbar and still limps to this day. Gets a few mentions throughout. (1/10, never appears on screen, but is probably a dick).

The Terrible Roommate- Lucius' unnamed roommate and ex, who became the not fun kind of drug dealer. (1/10, very awful and did not earn a name. But did help Lucius and Pete move in together.)

The Barista, Who Knows What He Did - Jim's unseen nemesis. (10/10, I love this joke unreasonably and no, we will never know what he did. HE KNOWS.)

Craft Lady at the Folk Festival- Trying to flirt unsuccessfully with Oluwande while Jim gets a drink. (2/10, based on an actual encounter at a festival, very annoying, but points for helping along the conversation. No name earned.)

Dolly Boodhari- Oluwande's mom, collector of many things, and all around sweetheart. (9/10, would be a 10, but sometimes her existence makes Jim a little sad which is not her fault and yet...)

Ada Boodhari- Oluwande's oldest sister who works in finance, has a crappy boss, now has Sweeney's sister as a pet, and collects bee themed items. (10/10, get a sister-in-law who will paint a room with you)

Zuri Boodhari- Oluwande's older, but not oldest sister. Married to Mark and has two kids, does medical billing. (5/10, not yet developed, but she's filling out the space along with her family, thank you for your service Zuri.)

The Boy Who Tried to Make Alma Kiss a Worm - Miserable little shit that causes Eddy to instruct Alma in the fine art of punching your problems away. Returns un-credited as the asshole making fun of Ingrid. (-1/10 for obvious reasons.)

Carnival Owner- Waxed mustache, too much cologne and a racist prick. John and Pete blow up his spot by literally blowing up his caravan. (-5/10, will never earn a name, terrible person, moved the action along, but at what cost?)

Zipper- Buttons' former lover, who left him for a younger man and crops back up to be a dick on their road trip. Smells like stale cigarettes. (1/10, good pun name, awful person. Good day, sir...I said good day! )

Sympathtic Woman with Cat Ears and Tight Corset at the Ren Faire- Listen, she appeared for one line, does not speak, but she gives Izzy an understanding look over his jealousy issue and I bet she's got a great backstory. In fact, I'm going to give her a name right now: Peony Lane. (4/10, too brief to go higher, but a good 'un).

The Lady Blacksmith- Sharpens Izzy's knife at the Ren Faire and has amazing biceps. Might make another brief appearance, so I will withhold naming her here, but she deserves one. (4/0, same as above.)

Jonah Hands- Izzy's older brother, deceased. Mentioned several times in passing and described as a violent charismatic guy that likes Johnny Cash. Will likely crop up again at some point. (4/10, don't want to hang, but I am curious about him.)

Faith Callahan - She's got her own story, spin off aus etc, doesn't really need her own summary here. (9/10, point deducted for being dead.)

Beth-Faith's lukewarm friend, who does attempt to get closer, but only when Faith gets into the same classes again. (3/10, make an effort, come on.)

Brittany Cartwright- Faith's former friend turned bully because she had some repressed feelings to work out. Returns as an grown up guidance counselor at Charlie and Alma's school, married to the English teacher. (7/10, gets a whole unseen redemption arc, but the unseen makes it hard to get fully on board).

Brandon- Proto-Eddy for Izzy, does not do the job very well and is forgotten about as soon as Izzy leaves school. (1/10, he's a menace and does not get a redemption arc.)

Faith's Parents- Bad all around. Abusive, cold, and basically killed her. (-1/10)

Delilah 'Delly' Norris nee Hands- Izzy's younger sister, described as a gremlin until Izzy reconciles with her later. Generally irritable and exhausted because she has a toddler and the Hands genetics. (8/10, another off screen arc that probably won't get pulled into focus, but she's doing the most she can with what she was given and didn't need to kill anyone to get there, Izzy.)

Sweeney- Izzy's cat. Furry knife pile (11/10 cause kitten.)

Ingrid Watts- Alma's first and best friend. Shy, bullied, but comes out of her shell to become a kickass vocalist. Loves vintage punk. (9/10, first real fully conceived OC of the series, actually. In that she has an entire personality and hangs out in and out of the story for the rest of the series.)

Owen Grant- Alma's second friend, desperately wants a band, keeps the band going and when the band finally dies, will probably start another band. Has dated Ingrid on and off for years, briefly dated Alma and Shawna too. (7/10, want to flush him out more, but his day has not yet arrived).

Felix Cardosa- Alma's first boyfriend...also Charlie's first boyfriend! Star pitcher, devoted lover, and apparently Bonnet catnip. (9/10 one point deducted for bagging siblings without remorse, c'mon man.)

Aaron Hands- Izzy's younger brother, missionary and all around misogynistic jerk. (1/10, awful.)

Thomas Norris- Delly's husband, fire fighter, appears to be a decent father and husband. (5/10, enigma, but seems fine.)

Deborah, Rachel and Leah- Izzy's squad of cousins that move as a unit. (5/10, perfectly cromulent humans)

Saul 'Da' Hands- Izzy's father. Abusive twatwaffle. (-1/10, necessary to the plot, but unnecessary to the world)

Thomas Norris- Delly's husband, fire fighter, appears to be a decent father and husband. (5/10, enigma, but seems fine.)

Dylan 'Pickle' Norris- Izzy's niece and personality is mostly 'toddler' at the moment. (8/10 cause she comes in like a wrecking ball).

Shelia Kissamee- Unseen drag queen, who tattles about the Swede's summer adventures, but it works out. (4/10, don't rat out the Swede, even if it worked out!

Rita Zebrowski- Read's unofficial foster mother, kicked Read out of the house when Read turned on the gang, but has since tried to rebuild the relationship (5/10, that's a big hurt to come back from, but Read is a very forgiving person.)

Alex 'Zee' Zeborwski- Rita's ex-husband and slightly better than the rest of Read's former gang, but still not great. (2/10)

Jacob Lewis - Real estate agent and charismatic head of Read's former gang. Sadist. (-1/10, inveigling kids in your evil scheme? You get to hang out with Hornigold in hell)

The Ballet Teacher- Brief moment, but big impact on Read's life. (5/10, really mostly just selling her class, but the outcome was good)

Amir Shariq- Charlie's best friend, room mate and once fling. A great swimmer in his own right, pre-med student, supportive and class A dude. (10/10, did not plan for him and he really grew throughout the writing in to a fun, complete person, definitely will appear around the edges of other stories)

David 'Coach' Hoffman- Has coached college swim for twenty years and knows Charlie has a lot of potential. Hates the football coach. (7/10, watching out for the guys, but kind of gruff about it. which Charlie likes for Charlie reasons.)

Chase- Swim teammate of Charlie's, freshman. Well meaning, but easily confused. (4/10, will buy anything)

Phillip Toulouse- Rival swimmer, apparently an asshole. I don't actually know anything about him, but he seems like a tool (2/10, do better, sir.)

2. Are there any plot tropes you are sick of/refuse to RP? If so, what are they and why?

Yeah. First one to come to mind is Modern verses. As in, grabbing the characters and putting them in a Our Time setting. Not really sick of it because I enjoy it in other fandoms, but I just have no interest in grabbing Star Was characters and using them for that kind of verse. I feel the Star Wars universe is already developed enough to fit a college au or coffee shop au or any like that without having to put them in boring 2020s you know.

I'll also say Fantasy verses when it comes to Star Wars just because I've never seen someone do it in a way I enjoyed.

I don't really have one I can say This Is My Favorite because every character here has a very special place in my heart. So I'll do Leia cause people rarely do Leia. This list also works as a "Vader tried to turn the wrong twin" list 😂

Left her first boyfriend (Kier Domadi) because of his pacifist views, refusing to see beyond their disagreement in how the empire and its sympathizers should be dealt with despite the fact they're both Alderaanian, a strictly pacifist culture.

When the Noghri smelled her and realized she was Vader's child, they began calling her "Mal'ary'ush", Lady Vader, which made them drop their attempts on her life cause they were loyal to/terrified of Vader, and Leia used this to boss them around.

I don't keep this in my portrayal, but: the way she refused to pick up the inheritance her parents had left her (which is what led to people finding out who her bio father was). Basically, she was resentful about what was done to her planet but she also didn't want what was possibly the last objects left from Alderaan and, more specifically, from her parents.
