This graphic novel takes place in an alternate New York City (you can tell that because there are lions in suits exist…). Kate, the main character, Kate winds up in some really not great situation. She gets chased away from her father’s grave, and finds herself on the run. She’s had been an adventurer since she was a child, but, hadn’t anticipated getting pulled back in when the book starts.

It’s zany, it’s weird, it’s thrilling, and the art is just amazing, totally amazing. And, there are 4 more volumes. Woo!

i have 3 specific oc universes, which are: - wanderlost (fantasy cat people with magic?? made it in 6th grade and am still really attached to the characters) - group project (school but everyone is like. a demon / angel / vampire / etc.; transgender main character!!) - achromatic (meant to be a comic!! some sort of cyberpunk / dystopian universe. all the characters have monochrome color palettes :])
