⤿Pairing: Weiss Schnee x Fem!Reader

⤿Content Warnings: Fluff, Weiss is your personal sugar momma credit card, she also can't cook.

⤿A/N: Weiss is a lesbian, I stand by that.

✦Her love languages include gift-giving and acts of service, you know this girl loves helping you. You need help on homework? Let her help. You're at a restaurant and want to sit down? She'll pull the chair for you. You want a drink? She'll pour a glass for you. You can't open a jar of pickles? See, this is why you need to work out sometimes.

✦Speaking of gift-giving, since Weiss has her father's credit card, she's eager to spoil you and make you happy. One time you were celebrating your birthday and walked to your room to find many of your favorite goods along with flower bouquets. You would warn her not to spend her entire money on you and get in trouble with her father, and she would huff just to declare, "I don't care what my father thinks; I just like it when you smile."

✦Your personal spot with Weiss would be a comfortable cafe where you two would catch up. It's one of the first places you two have gone during your dates. It's a memorable spot for Weiss. She'd buy your favorite drink and sit with you while having a conversation about how your days have been.

✦She really has a good fashion sense, from dressing in white dresses to white overcoats to white suits even (along with a rose in her hand).

✦On a date, you wore the baby-blue dress she had bought for you along with a dark leather jacket with boots, and I have to tell you that her jaw was wide open, but she quickly composed herself and coughed with a red blush plastered on her pale cheeks. She tried hard to contain a serious look but couldn't help but smile at your gorgeous appearance! She felt like she was going to explode—in a good way.

✦Weiss can't cook, but it's cute seeing her attempt to make something for you. With that, she's banned from the kitchen. You take the lead in cooking; she appreciates it a lot. In some days, you two would sit together and relax to eat cookies you baked (also with Ruby trying to steal one but that results in Weiss scolding her) with tea.

✦Weiss is shy with affection; she would give you a peck on the cheek or a small kiss. She would get very red if you tried to initiate a kiss; she would call you a dolt after that. On some occasions, however, she gains the confidence to sweep you off your feet. She would hold you by the waist and connect her soft lips to yours. She'd pull back with a soft look and say, "You're lucky you're cute, dolt."

✦She might come off as arrogant, a bit insensitive, and mean sometimes, but for you, she's the softest person ever. Whenever you're around, her ice queen persona suddenly disappears, and her teammates notice it, especially Yang and Blake. Yang would tease the white-haired girl, and Blake would just sit back, smirking with a book in her hands.

"Who would ever thought there's actually someone who can melt the ice queen's heart!" Yang laughs.

"Shut up you brute!" Weiss exclaims, irritated.

✦She doesn't call you any pet names much at the start of your relationship because she was timid, but after a while she loves calling you "Princess," "Honey/Hun," "Love," and with a frequent "Darling." "Dolt" is a playful nickname she calls you. She's actually pretty lovey-dovey and cheesy, and it honestly makes Ruby question whether to aw or barf.

✦Weiss loves you very much—much more than you know. She's honestly hesitant to tell her family about you out of fear, but now that you're deeper into the relationship, she's not scared to show you off; she will not care about what her father thinks, and she knows her sister will support you two. Whitley is indifferent about it; he's probably busy being a brat, Weiss thought. She is willing to fight for you; she is protective and will defend you in any way. You would do the same for her as well, and that makes her love you even more.

"You make me feel like I'm me, I just want you to know that I love you, you don't know how much I do," she smiles shyly, she kisses you and softly voices "Maybe one day, you'll take my last name."

The campfire crackled out a amber glow, the warmth enshrouding you as you took a breath, grimacing as Qrow downed more alcohol from his flask.

"Really? No questions?" Qrow slurred, leaving you to grimace even more and avoid his eyes as Jaune glared.

"Of course we have questions. This is just, a lot to take in." Jaune admitted, resting his elbows on his knees.

"Sure, of course."

It was silent for a moment besides the crackling fire, until Ruby broke the silence.

"So, these maidens, they're powerful fighters, that don't need dust to use magic."

"Yup." Qrow replied quietly as his gaze shifted from Ruby to Nora.

"And there are four of them."

"Yup. Always."

"Which means that, whenever one of them dies, the power transfers to someone, a female, that they care about." Ren continued, leaving you to stare into the fire in thought.

"Whoever was in their thoughts last. Important distinction. Best option, it's someone we can trust, regardless, their souls become combined, in a way." Qrow explained, sipping from his flask.

"And that's what you were trying to do to Pyrrha. The night the tower fell."

"But it went to Cinder instead." You interrupted Jaune, your eyes locked onto the fire as you felt Jaune's eyes on you.

"You were trying to turn her into one of them."

"The previous Fall Maiden, Amber, had been attacked. She was young, inexperienced and her assailant, who we now know is Cinder, somehow managed to steal some of her power. But not all of it. We were afraid that if we didn't do something, the rest would go to her as well... like Y/n said, it did." You zoned out after realising Qrow knew your name.

Qrow's story about the relics and the Gods of Light and Darkness had your attention, recalling the stories your mother had told you growing up.

"Alright, so let's say we believe all of this. There really is some crazy evil being behind these attacks, not just some thugs trying to become powerful. Why doesn't the world know? Why isn't Atlas going after them? Or Mistral?"

"And why aren't we in more of a hurry to get to Haven?" Nora interrupted Jaune, leaving you to glance up at her from the fire, "should we be getting them a message? What if they're next?"

"The headmaster over there saw what happened at Beacon, he's not dumb, he'll be on his guard. Besides, it takes time to mobilise forces like that. Do you really think they planned out that attack on Beacon overnight? And to answer your question," Qrow explained, pointing at Jaune, "It's the same reason we keep quiet about the Maidens. If the whole world knew about the relics, about Salem, it would be chaos. We'd have another Great War on our hands, but this time, you'd have to fight."

Jaune turned away from Qrow's gaze, leaving you to meet the Huntsman's eyes.

"Look, I had the same questions too, but ol' Ozpin always put his foot down. 'We can't cause a panic.' Heh, I can't tell you how many times I've heard that." Qrow chuckled, smiling into his flask as you grimaced again.

"Salem's smart, she works from the shadows, using others to get what she wants, so when it comes time to place the blame, we can only point at each other. She's trying to divide us - humanity." Qrow let out a sigh as he looked up at the darkness.

"Alright, so what should we do?" Ruby asked, looking up from her hands.

"Ahaha, I don't really know. Ozpin has put a lot of trust in the headmasters, like I said, the schools are an important part of stopping Salem. Atlas is going to be on high alert after the last attack and Vacuo, is well, Vacuo. It'll be hard to hire thieves and scoundrels to fight against other thieves and scoundrels. Take that, add in the fact that Cinder and her crew claim to be from Haven, I think it's likely the next target. So, we're on our way to the headmaster, haven't heard from him for a while, even before the attack. I'm hoping he has the answers..." Qrow stood up with a wince.

"Alright, I think it's time you kids got some sleep."

"Uncle Qrow?"

"Yeah." Qrow turned to look at Ruby, who had also stood up.

"This is a lot to take in, and it all sounds crazy! But, I'm willing to do whatever I can to help, because I trust you, but why couldn't you trust me? Why couldn't you just travel with us, instead of all this secrecy and this, this-"

"Look, this has nothing to do with trust. I, it's a long story, okay?" Qrow brushed off, leaving Nora to frown.

"Seriously? Now you're tired of telling us stories?"

"It's your sembalance, isn't it?" You replied, leaving Qrow to look sadly into the fire.

"Do you know that crows are a sign of bad luck? Old superstition, but it's how I got my name. See, some people can absorb electricity, some people can burst into rose petals or cast glyphs, some people are just born unlucky. My sembalance, is unlike most, it's not exactly something I do, it's always there, whether I like it or not. I bring misfortune. I guess you could call me, a bad luck charm." Qrow chuckled, leaving you to tense as Qrow referenced the Schnee sembalance.

"Comes in real handy when I'm fighting an enemy, but it makes it a little hard on friends, and family."

Your eyes followed Qrow as he limped off into the forest, your gaze eventually landing on the flaming log as it fell from the fire.

"Huh..."

You woke up to hear Qrow coughing up his lungs.

"Well, that's unfortunate." He stated, looking at how he was coughing up a purple substance.

"Fuck... scorpions are venomous."

Ruby and Jaune had Qrow in a makeshift stretcher as the five of you continued on, Ren running over to the sign.

"Does it say we're close?" Ruby shouted as Nora pointed out Mistral.

"No, and it looks like the path takes us up through the mountains."

"Guys, I don't know if all of us can make that climb."

"Okay, what about this place, Kuroyuri? Can we get help there?"

Ren's fists clenched as he tried to remain calm.

"That village was destroyed years ago."

"Ren and I will go up through the mountains, you, Jaune and Y/n will go that way." Nora stated, leaving you to just nod.

Qrow's coughing caught your attention as you, Ruby and Jaune began the walk to Kuroyuri whilst Ren and Nora began the hike to Mistral.

"Oh man..." Jaune whispered, glancing around Kuroyuri as Ruby just whispered a "come on" in response.

Your hand reached for Resurgence as you walked besides Qrow's stretcher.

"Any of these places look like a pharmacy?" Ruby asked, leading you to glance around with a frown.

"It's honestly hard to tell." Jaune admitted, noticing your gaze on him as you shrugged.

"Ren really didn't wanna come here, did he?"

"Guessing it's like Y/n's sembalance. Doesn't want to talk about it." Jaune replied, leaving you to ignore him.

"Do you know why?" Ruby asked, glancing back to see Jaune's face.

"I think I have a pretty good idea." Jaune admitted, his eyes on the ground whilst yours were on the greying clouds in the sky.

You were tending to Qrow whilst Ruby spoke to Jaune.

"You didn't drag us along, you gave us the courage to follow you." Jaune affirmed, his hand going to Ruby's shoulder as the two of them smiled.

"You gave me the courage to stop hiding my ears, hiding a part of my self... the other parts, I'm not ready... but you'll know when I am, okay?" Ruby gave you a soft smile as you chewed your lip.

"Ren? What is it?" Ruby shouted, watching as Ren fell to his knees.

"Wait, do you guys hear that?" Jaune asked, resulting in you turning around to spot it.

"No... not again... no..." Ren kept mumbling before all five of you fell silent, hearing the screech of the Nuckelavee.

Jaune sprinted over to Qrow as soon as the cracking noises stopped, the screeching stopped as the Nuckelavee aimed for Qrow.

Nora started aiming at the Grimm, Ren using his sembalance to mask Jaune and Qrow whilst you and Ruby just exchanged looks.

"Guys! Keep moving! Go in a circle!" Jaune shouted before getting kicked flying.

"Holy f-" You were cut off as the Nuckelavee swung its arms around in a circle too, sending you, Ruby and Jaune flying to the sides.

The screeching and cracking of its bones didn't stop as you began to try place the dust crystal in the top of Resurgence, wincing at the pain in your ears.

"RUBY!" Nora shouted, nodding before running at Crescent Rose to intercept the second Grimm had that was about to end Ren.

"NORA!" You shouted, watching the Grimm throw her around, hitting her into the floor several times until it finally let go and Nora's aura was shattered.

"Ren! Knock it off!" Jaune shouted, leaving you to grimace before you placed the dust crystal in Resurgence, letting out a breath.

"Hold it still!" You shouted, leaving Jaune and Ruby to attack whilst you aimed the fire dust blast and the horse half of the Grimm.

"Ren, Jaune and I can take care of it's arms... Y/n-"

"I can hold it still for you to take out the horse and the rest of it." You replied, letting out a sigh, "I'll hold it down with my sembalance." You muttered to yourself as the others moved into action.

Ruby's eyes widened as she spotted the familar Glyph holding the Nuckelavee still before she shot at the thing, gaining the attention of one of it's arms.

Your eyes widened as you watched Ren cut off the arms of the Nuckelavee, slashing at its torso before he took a breath.

"For myself." Ren slashed off the head of the Grimm, watching the body fade into dust and shadows as it was defeated.

Nora tackled Ren into a hug whilst Ruby ran to check on her uncle.

"Was that-"

"Yeah... I'm a Schnee, it's, a long story." You replied before you fell silent, looking up at the sky.

"Guys! I think I hear something!" Jaune shouted before the two airships arrived.

"How did you find us?" Jaune asked, holding into the bar as you leaned against the wall of the airship.

"We were on patrol and saw the smoke. No-one's been out here for years, thought something might be wrong." One of the airship people explained, leaving you to let out a sigh of relief.

"What if we don't make it in time?" Ruby began, frowning as Jaune called her name.

Your eyes widened as Mistral came into view.

"Ugh, thank gods, I didn't fancy hiking the mountain." You chuckled, sighing as Jaune looked at you, your eyes were on your hand as you summoned a glyph.

"Weiss doesn't know I'm her cousin. I'd like to keep it that way. There's... a lot of drama there, even before I was born." You explained, leaving Jaune to just nod as the airships began to land in Mistral.

"Wow! This, is, awesome!" Ruby exclaimed as Qrow opened the doors on the way to Haven Academy.

"Stay away from the lower levels, but the higher up you go, the nicer it gets." Qrow explained, in reference to the mountains of Mistral.

"And we are going up!" Nora chimed in, gesturing upwards as you chuckled.

"Are we going to talk about the Goliath in the room, Y/n?" Jaune asked, leaving you to grumble as you avoided Qrow's gaze.

"I can't wait to see the look on Ice Queen's face when she finds out she's got a cousin she's never met."

"Weiss or Winter?" Ruby replied with a nervous look as you chuckled.

"Both. It's their father's doing that removed my mum from the Schnee family tree after all. He's a racist arse. He can say all he likes that Willow was an only child but Glyphs are hereditary. I'm his niece." You folded your arms as you walked, your wolf ears pressed against your head as you glared at the floor.

"There doesn't seem to be anyone here." Ren stated as Ruby called out to try find anyone.

"Well, it makes sense, school isn't really in session right now?"

"No, this isn't right! Come on!" Qrow stated, breaking out into a run after what Jaune said.

The five of you let out a yell as Qrow kicked the door down, falling on his butt as the Headmaster of Haven fainted.

"So, is this not going at all like anyone thought it would?" Nora enquired, leaving you to grimace as Ruby just exchanged glances with Nora.

One fruitless visit to Professor Lionheart later, the five of you were sent back to the house by Qrow, who claimed he needed a drink.

You were leaning with your head against the couch when a knocking at the door had the four of you frowning. Ruby was in another room as you frowned at the child.

"Um, can I help you?" Jaune raised an eyebrow, glancing back at Nora and Ren.

"Uh, yeah. Is there a Ruby Rose here?"

You, Nora and Ren immediately stood up at that, frowning as Nora let out a sharp "why?"

"Well-" The boy was cut off by a drunken Qrow.

"I found him! Pffff!"

"I think her uncle could use some help." The boy replied, leaving you to roll your eyes at Ruby's drunken uncle.

"Can't a girl read her comic books in peace? Qrow, did you get drunk again?" Ruby asked, face-palming as Qrow giggled out a "maybe!"

"Oh, you have silver eyes." The boy realised, leaving Ruby to look at him.

"Who, are you?"

"Well, my name is Oscar Pine, but you probably know me as, Professor Ozpin."

Qrow's drunken celebration caught you offguard as you watched him flop off the couch.

"Gods." You retorted, face-palming as Oscar turned to you.

"You're a faunus... you stopped hiding your ears?"

"How do you-"

"Mind showing us your little parlour trick, kid?" Qrow asked, leaving Oscar to sigh.

"Yeah, okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here." Oscar explained, letting out a breath as a green light flooded him.

"It is so very good to see you again, students." Oscar's voice was warped as you realised it wasn't him talking. It was Ozpin.

"We start, by ensuring the safety of the relic of knowledge."

"What's step two?" Nora asked, resulting in Ozpin turning around with his cane in his hand.

"Getting you five into fighting shape."

"But, we already know how to fight!" Ruby replied, leaving you to grimace as she got Ozpin's cane pointed at her face.

"You can only fight so long as you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand to hand combat."

"Well... yeah..." Ruby shrugged, leaving you to grimace.

"Y/n, your refusal to use your sembalance puts you at a great disadvantange in battle-" Ozpin began, leaving you to sigh.

"I'm not afraid anymore, but who I am doesn't leave this room either. I don't need Jacques Schnee sending people after my parents. But, yeah, I need to practice Glyphs more." you explained, leaving Ozpin to nod as the cane went over to Jaune.

"Mr Arc, I'm glad to hear you've improved, sorry to say, you've yet to unlock your sembalance." Jaune looked sadly at the floor as the cane moved to gesture at all five of you

"All of you still have a ways to go before you're able to pose any real threat again Salem and her enforcers. And though, Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his aura. He'll inherit my muscle memory in time, but practice will expedite the process."

"But if Qrow's out looking for Huntsman, who's going to teach us?" Ruby asked, leaving Ozpin to jump up onto the chair, twirling his cane around in circles.

"Well, I believe I was the Headmaster of Beacon Academy. We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven-"

A glance to your right showed Ruby practicing hand to hand combat against Oscar.

Oscar had hit the ground with a thump whilst you worked on summoning the Boarbatusk that had attacked you and your father on the farm when you were a child.

"Sembalance?" Oscar's voice had your attention for a moment until you realised the summoning glyph was glitching out.

"Everyone's got it, look, look, Y/n's using hers right now!" Nora pointed out, leaving everyone to watch you before discussing their sembalances.

"Y/n, how did you unlock your sembalance?" Oscar asked, leaving you to look up as you allowed the Boarbatusk to disppear.

"Grimm attack. My dad got hurt protecting me and I freaked, unconsciously sending the Boarbatusks flying backwards with glyphs." You quickly explained before picking up Resurgence.

"Alright, the first batch is just about done!" Ren announced, stirring the pot of food.

"How much food are you making, anyway?" You enquired as you and Jaune set the table.

"Do you really think he's going to bring that many people, this is a lot of food!" Nora stated, eating a slice of carrot as she continued to cut them up.

"You're going to overcook that." Ren stated, leaving Ruby to retort "No, I'm not, shut up!" as Qrow began to call her.

The smashing of cups caught your attention as you dropped the tray on Jaune's head.

"Ow, hey!" Jaune exclaimed, resulting in Nora and Ren turning to look before the four of you walked over to where Ruby and Yang were hugging.

"Weiss!" Ruby's voice was soft as she beckoned her teammate to join the hug.

The seven of you were sat down as dinner began.

"How do you lose your map at a time like that?" Yang asked as Jaune laughed.

"By throwing it away as you run the opposite direction." You deadpanned, elbowing Jaune in the ribs.

"Ow! Anyway, believe me, I've asked myself the same thing ever since..."

"I mean, did you see Ren during that fight? Oh and Y/n finally used her se-"

"Sesame seeds in that recipe!" You interjected, throwing a piece of bread at Ruby's head as she realised what she was about to say.

You couldn't stop laughing as Weiss summoned a Boarbatusk to prove she could now summon, watching Nora freak out.

"And it's just as strong?" Ruby asked, dangling from Yang's prosthetic arm.

"Sure is." She smirked before you laughed, moving the bowls from the table as Nora slammed her elbow down.

"Wanna bet?"

"Ugh, we ate it all, ugh, I think I'm gonna be sick." Jaune complained as he began to pick up the rest of the bowls.

"Easy there, vomit boy. I believe in you." Yang smirked, leaving Jaune to roll his eyes.

"Oh, we're doing nickname throwbacks now... say, Mystery, come help with these, will you?" Jaune replied, leaving you to roll your eyes at him before getting up to hear Weiss laughing.

"I mean, the Ice Queen seems to like it." Nora replied, leaving Weiss to pause as Ruby burst into laughter.

"I so did not miss you people."

You were returning from the kitchen when you heard Weiss

"Hey! You make it sound like I used to be terrible!"

"At least Y/n stopped wearing that beanie, I thought it was glued to her head- wait... since when were you a faunus?" Yang realised, leaving you to stare at her.

"Since birth... also, how did you not notice my ears any time before now?" You retorted, sitting down and sipping your tea as Ren spoke.

"Yeah, turns out Ren gets real deep when he feels like talking!" Ruby grinned, leaving you to continue laughing.

"Oh! Raven! Qrow! They're birds! Cracked it!" Nora grinned, leaving you to roll your eyes and resist face-palming.

You continued to train your sembalance in secret, under the eye of Qrow who knew just about enough about Winter's glyphs to help.

Any other training sessions resulted in you not using your sembalance as you trained with Jaune. Crocea Mors vs Resurgence.

"So... Y/n got a new weapon?" Yang mentioned, leaving Weiss to nod.

"Resurgence or something, Jaune said Y/n broke her original, Surgence, during the fall of Beacon..."

"So that's what Y/n left sticking out of that scarecrow..." Yang concluded, laughing at the confusion on Weiss' face.

You stood with Ruby as the two of you looked up at the full moon. Haven Academy stood infront of you all, waiting.

"There seems to be more of you than last time." Professor Lionheart acknowledged, making you shiver as you reached for Resurgence.

"You know what they say, the more the merrier. So what's going on with the council?" Qrow asked, leaving you to slip your foot back into a fighting position.

"Y/n?" Jaune mumbled, noticing your stance.

"Something's wrong..."

"Why did you bring your weapons?" Professor Lionheart's stupid question had you glare at the floor, wondering how you could have been so stupid.

"Leo, we're huntsman."

"It's a trap." you stated at the same time that Yang spotted the raven on the bannister.

"Mom?"

"What is wrong with you? How can you be so broken inside? To take so many lives, and then come here rub it in our faces like it's something to be proud of! All with that damn smile on your face!" Jaune exclaimed, tears dripping down his face as he reached for Crocea Mors.

"Everyone stay calm!"

"Staying calm won't stop Haven from getting blown up." You warned Qrow, who gave you a warning glare until he saw you try to reach for Jaune.

"I'm going to make you pay for what you did, do you hear me!"

"Who are you again?" Cinder's voice was all it took for Jaune to snap, charging at her.

Your eyes widened as you watched everyone arrange themselves.

Jaune vs Cinder.

Yang vs Mercury.

Qrow vs Raven.

Weiss vs Vernal.

Ren and Nora vs Hazel.

Okay, you’re attacked by a certain someone. I’ll let you guess who it is, but it’s kinda obvious. Surely, if you haven’t seen V4, you probably won’t know who it is. It doesn’t take place during V4, btw.

Winter didn’t always used to be like this; this cold and unemotional, this distant. Weiss was the only person who could bring out a little of her old-self again.

If only this hadn’t happened…

Winter gazed outside of the flying Bullhead as cloud passed by. The elder Schnee sibling currently was on her way to Vale, bittersweet memories coming back to mind.

“Winter!” you cried out in joy as you ran to your girlfriend and jumped in her arms. The girl immediately squeezed you in a loving hug. “I missed you so much, boo,” you murmured in her ear.

“Me too, Y/N, me too,” the girl replied. You detached from your embrace and you sent her a big smile. The girl couldn’t help but return the gesture.

“Let’s go for a walk!” you proposed, which the white-headed accepted. The sun was already setting when you both headed down to the busy streets of the city. You smiled at the passing bystanders. Winter took ahold of your hand, interlocking your fingers together.

You continued on your way for some time, the stars slowly but beautifully appearing in the sky. You gazed up with an awed expression as your girlfriend stared at you.

“I love you, Y/N,” the Atlas Specialist suddenly said, surprising you. You turned to her and smiled.

“I love you too, Schnee,” you affectionally returned as you hugged her.

Winter anxiously looked around the Bullhead. Two days ago, you had been sent on a mission with your team. But, an hour ago, one of your teammate had sent a distress signal to Beacon, which resulted in Winter rushing off to your location.

The girl quickly jumped off the still hovering Bullhead as they arrived at the site. The Schnee gasped in shock at the sight. Your teammates were laying behind you, beaten and bloody. Meanwhile, you protectively stood before them, blood seeping from a side wound that you were pressing with your hand.

Facing you, was your opponent: a tall, proud-looking man with a white tunic, brown braided-hair and a scorpion tail.

“Hehehe, looks like we’ve got company,” the man smirked as he maniacally giggled. Winter quickly dashed in your direction, drawing her weapon. The next few events happened so fast that you didn’t even had time to blink.

Your knees buckled under you as the Faunus’ poison sunk into your body by the open wound on your left side caused by the man’s stinger, said unknown man appeared beside you and took hold of you as Winter froze in her tracks when she saw the Faunus bring his blade to your neck.

“Y/N!” the girl exclaimed, trying to hide her panic as best as she could. “Who are you?!” she asked the man holding you. The Faunus laughed an crazily smiled as he tilted his head: “Well, I merely am a pion to my Queen.”

Winter gritted her teeth. She took a small step forward. The reaction was immediate: the man tightened his grip on you while he pressed his weapon to your throat. “Tut tut tut, no moving,” he warned in a scolding tone.

“What do you want? Why are you doing this?!” Winter demanded. “So many questions!” The man sighed. He gazed at you, forcing your head up with his blade, as you weakly gasped. “I don’t want anything. I am following my Queen’s order.

You felt the Faunus’ stinger trailing up your leg before it stopped over your stomach. The tip of the defensive member grazed your skin, cutting through the piece of clothing covering it. A small groaned of pain escaped you and you felt Winter’s worried gaze on you.

That’s when you heard the familiar roaring engine of a Bullhead. The man looked at the approaching machine. Ozpin had sent backup. “Oh well, as much as I enjoyed this evening with you, ladies, I must be on my way,” the man announced.

“I hope to see you again,” the man looked at Winter with a sly smile before he turned his gaze to your weaken form, “And you…” – a pause – “Well, you’re gonna be dead!”

Letting go of you, the man rapidly swirled around and embedded his stinger into your stomach. Your eyes widened in shock. “NO! Y/N!” the girl exclaimed in terror.

The Faunus quickly ran off as the Bullhead landed behind them. Winter ran to your collapsing body as you coughed up some blood. The blood gushing out of you was slowly turning from red to purple.

“Oum,” Winter murmured, tears gathering in her eyes as she took in your state, “Hold on, Y/N. Backup’s here.”

The arriving team of Huntsmen ran to you with a stretcher. They carefully lifted you up and laid you on it.

Minutes later, you were in the Bullhead, on your way to Beacon. Winter was by your side, trying her best to keep you awake. Your teammates had stayed behind as their conditions weren’t critical, but, unlike them, you had to be treated as fast as possible.

“Hurry up!” Winter ordered to the pilot. “I’m going as fast as this Bullhead can allow us, Ma’am,” the man calmly replied.

The girl looked at you in worry. “Stay with me, Y/N,” she said. You now were only some minutes away from Beacon. But, as much as you tried, you couldn’t fight the sleepiness invading you. “A-Are my t-teammates okay?” you struggled between difficult breathes.

“Yes, they’re fine. They’re safe,” the girl answered. “G-Good,” you lightly smiled, “I l-love you, Winter.”

“Me too, Y/N, me too.”

Your eyes closed. Winter tapped your cheek: “Y/N…? Y/N? Come on, Y/N!”

The girl tried to wake you up, she did everything. There was nothing to do. “No…” the Atlas Specialist teared up, fully realizing that it was over.

“I’m s-so sorry, Y/N… I s-should have protected you. Should h-have been b-better,” the girl sobbed in between her murmurs as she hugged your lifeless body close to her, “I-It’s all my f-fault…”

Winter stepped outside as she exited her aircraft that had landed minutes before. There, she was met with her sister excitedly waiting a little further away.

“Hi, sister,” the older sibling greeted the girl. No smile showed on her face, but one – if closely watching – could have seen her eyes softening. The expression lighten up. “Hello, Winter,” the girl responded.

The girl, her name didn’t matter, in Ruby’s not so humble opinion. She started following you guys to your next class, insinuating it was on the way to her’s.

And with that you two kept talking, Ruby started feeling a little left out and sad. To let you know she bumped into your side, after that she sped ahead.

“What’s up with her?” The girl asked with a bitter tone. You merely smiled in Ruby’s direction.

“Sorry but I have to go catch up with my girlfriend.”

And with that, the girl was left alone in the hallway.

You dedicate anything you can to cheering her up, she was slightly flustered about this at first but now just enjoys how you are.

Ruby sat rather glum in her seat, it was her final class of the day and that whole girl thing just left her with a bad attitude. She would’ve acted like a bitter child in her dorm but here you were.

Ruby smiled at your actions and quickly hugged you as you both headed to the bakery.

“Weiss~ get upppp.” Weiss felt someone’s fingers brushing through her hair, the action made her want to sleep more. Of course she knew only one person who could accidentally make their work harder.

“Good morning Y/N.” She gave a slight smile, still a little drowsy from just waking up. She thought she woke up at a decent time, her new alarm clock being way more pleasant to wake up to than her old one.

You gave her your signature cinnamon roll smile and her morning got exponentially better.

Unfortunately your cheerfulness attracted unwanted attention, you simply thought you made more friends but Weiss saw the looks in their eyes

You were putting your weapons in your locker when you heard someone calling out your nickname in the distance.

“Sunshine!” You looked to see there being 4 older girls, the leader being the redhead named Stella. You quickly shuffled over to them, looking quite cute given you had a lot of big textbooks in your arms.

She understood them, you were just so...cute when you spoke. You genuinely tried to keep up and pay attention with everyone.

“Stell, what’d I say about that name!!” You huffed with a pout, the older girl merely gave a teasing smile as the girls behind her looked at you with interest.

“Sorry cupcake-“ you squaked at the name. “But my team just wanted to meet you, like a lot.” She exaggerated with big hand movements making you giggle, the girls behind her looked embarrassed.

“It’s okay! I wanted to meet them lots too!” You gave them a bright smile, they all looked at Stella with disbelief in their eyes.

“How is she so sweet???”

“I don’t even know.”

You didn’t hear their conversation but took a quick glance at the clock and bid them goodbye.

She supposed she could be considered a sort of knight in a way, just instead of an honorable battle there are threats and grimm(see what I did there?) promises

Weiss saw that whole interaction, her fist gripped hard around Myrtenaster. She observed Stella stay behind while the other girls left, that’s when she decided to strike.

With a slam, Stella got startled at the sound and looked back to stare into cold blue eyes. She shivered at the intensity in them, Weiss perfected the Schnee intimidation expression.

“I’m not going to listen to a single rebuttal, you stay away from Y/N, don’t look at her, don’t even breathe the same air as her. If you do I swear I will gut you like a turkey.”

Stella merely nodded, her being beyond intimidated. And with that Weiss left the locker room to join up with you.

When she did, you smiled at her, completely clueless to what she just did.

Blake wouldn’t call herself possessive, she knew from past relationships how that could go. Yet she couldn’t help but notice the sheer amount of girls with an interest in you.

You had walked away from Blake’s dorm after telling her good morning, she left her door slightly cracked open on accident. As she went to fix it she balked at the amount of girls she saw following after you in the distance.

“What…..?”

She honestly couldn’t blame them, you were pretty suave, another main thing that she knew contributed to your popularity.

A girl who was part of the group following you had tripped in the crowd. She closed her eyes preparing for a rough fall yet she didn’t feel it.

“Are you okay dear?” Your smooth voice asked. The girl blushed, your arm was around her waist as you asked this.

She could speak so she nodded causing you to give an amused and slightly teasing smile. You leaned into the crook of her neck.

“Be more careful next time chéri.” Your lips were right next to her ear, then suddenly you left. Leaving behind an embarrassed puddle of a girl.

She wouldn’t notice, much to your amusement, that she would get more clingy and needy.

“Hey kitten, I have to head to Miss Goodwitch’s class, I’ll be back in a bit.” You informed her as you were ready to leave the room.

“Wait, it’s a little chilly so wear this.” She handed you her favorite black hoodie, on the chest it had her initials, white and in cursive. The sleeves and hood were white so you’d have to be a bit careful.

You merely stared at it for a bit in amusement before chuckling and putting it on.

“Thank you dear, I’ll be back soon.” You smiled as you gave her a kiss, not even mentioning the fact it wasn’t even chilly.

A perfect example of an extremely jealous Blake Belladonna would have to be that one time she was waiting for you in professor Port’s classroom.

It seemed the hoodie wasn’t enough to drive some girls off, here you were, leaning against a hallways wall. In front of you was a timid looking girl, she looked the slightest bit like a squirrel, cute but you preferred cats.

“May I help you?” You asked, you looked to the side, you just wanted to be with Blake right now.

“E-erm yes! I was just wondering if you..me ...date..” She trailed off in the end but it was clear to you she asked. You gave her an apologetic smile.

“Sorry but-“ Before you could finish your sentence Blake came with her arms wrapped around you from behind.

“Y/N/N, who is this?” She asked as her head rested on your shoulder. You gave a wry grin at her behavior.

“This is-“

“I’m no one, sorry for bothering you girls!!” She squeaked out as she bolted away.

You didn’t even have to look at Blake to know what she did. She was pretty scary when she glared.

“Is my kitten jealous?” You teased, she merely gave you a slight glare before burying her head further into your shoulder. You grinned at this knowing it was a yes.

At first Yang would compete with you each day over who got more love letters, she thought it was pretty funny. At least until you two started dating.

Yang felt her eyes twitch as she saw the love letters fall out of your locker. She knew from experience that some would hint about you two breaking up, most didn’t even have names she could hunt down. It still frustrated her after you two made quite the public announcement about your relationship.

She did not jump onto a lunch table with a speaker for nothing.

You hummed at the letters and put them back in your locker.

This is usually the cause for Yang’s jealousy.

During times when your charm was reaching high levels Yang vowed to always be close to you, no matter where.

Yang and you were standing in front of the vending machine in the cafeteria, you were messing with team JOCK as you got your soda. Yang was fairly involved in the conversation, after all even she could admit that Vacuo’s team was treated unfairly in the final match.

Atlas Aristocrats, that was literally the team name, quite obviously bribed the referee. I mean seriously, Atlas people don’t even like football!!

Now that that’s out of the way, she kept her eyes glued on team JEWL(Jewel). She knew they wanted to join in, yet her glare kept them away. Needless to say even she was surprised at how charming you were today as you leaned and whispered in her ear.

“Ready to eat?” You asked with a dorky smile. She nodded and threw her arm over your shoulders, ignoring the blush she got from your action.

It was basically forbidden to ask about Yang’s small notebook, it could literally fit in her pocket.

Yang could feel you staring at her notebook, she knew you wouldn’t ask though. You were respectful like that, so she didn’t have to worry about you seeing her add Team JEWL’s names to it.

“Yang?”

“Wassup?” She asked with her signature smile.

“Ice cream?” She immediately knew what you meant, putting her notebook in her pocket she got ready to take you on Bumblebee to get some ice cream.

Yet every time she crossed something out she looked pretty achieved, and simultaneously a girl would stop obsessing over you

Yang felt pretty proud of herself, she managed to have another girl get the hint. You were taken by a hot blonde bombshell, with smug proudness she crossed out the name.

Suddenly she felt someone hug her from behind.

“Yang, while I am happy you’re making people get the memo I’d rather it be in a way you don’t get detention.” You nonchalantly teased her, she laughed knowing she was caught.

“Sorry Y/N/N~ but aye on the bright side…” Her brain failed her at this moment.

Seeing Weiss fall on the floor whilst fighting Vernal sent something running through you. A protectiveness you hadn't had before.

A protectiveness over your cousin.

"You wanted a Schnee? How about two?!" You whisper-growled at Vernal as you ran at her, knowing Weiss didn't hear what you said as you began to fight Vernal, holding her off for Weiss could summon something.

You didn't expect to get your arm scraped by a bullet from Crescent Rose in the process.

"You okay?" Weiss asked, about to try summon again but you shoved her from the way of Vernal's blast.

"I'm fine. If she's the Spring Maiden, why isn't she using her magic?" You theorised, freezing as you heard Weiss' aura break and her scream.

A flash of silver light took you off-guard, giving Vernal enough time to whack you in the head with her weapon, breaking your aura as you crashed to the ground next to Weiss.

Jaune's screaming got your attention, your eyes flicking to Cinder holding the lance, her eyes on Weiss.

"WEISS!" You shouted, pushing yourself up to let out a howl of pain as your hands caught the flaming spear.

Weiss froze as she watched you stare at your burning hands, the lance disintegrating as you dropped onto your knees.

You didn't see the lance had managed to catch Weiss' side before you caught it, only that she had dropped next to you.

"WEISS! Y/N!" Jaune screamed, running over to the two of you.

"Help...her..." You shoved Jaune's hands towards where Weiss was hurt, ignoring how much your hands stung at that point in time.

"Y/n! Ren, talk to me!" Jaune exclaimed, looking over you and Weiss.

"This is bad." Ren replied, checking over your hands as they bled.

"Please... I can't lose anyone else!" Jaune cried, closing his eyes as he tried to think.

Your eyes were barely open as you spotted the glow of Weiss' aura.

"He did it..." You whispered before you fainted into Ren's shoulder.

"How's Y/n doing?" Weiss quietly asked as she sat up, fully healed.

"Her hands are healing now... she grabbed that lance without a care that it was literally made of fire." Jaune replied, leaving Weiss to wince as she glanced over you.

Your eyes were slowly opening as the f/c of your aura eventually calmed.

"Careful Y/n, you hurt your hands-" Jaune was cut off as your aura enshrouded you for a moment, your ears twitching as you stared at the full moon.

"My dad's sembalance is connected to the moon... he can amplify the power of those he's bonded to by howling... sounds like something out of a fairy tale but the moon amplifies the range... I'm okay." You stated, standing up to offer a hand to Weiss.

"What's happening?" Weiss asked, leaving you to pause.

"Mistral Police?" You replied, raising an eyebrow as Jaune shrugged.

You couldn't stop yourself from grinning when you saw Weiss summon the Queen Lancer.

"Yang! Go!" Ruby shouted, leaving Yang to run into the Haven Vault as you grabbed Resurgence and an ice dust crystal.

"Let's go." You mumbled to yourself, getting ready to continue fighting as Jaune, Ruby and Blake exchanged nods.

You didn't expect the ground to start shaking or to see Blake at Haven either but both those happened.

"Are you hurt?" Blake asked, leaving Weiss to stutter whilst you just grinned as Blake's eyes went to your wolf ears.

"Checkmate!" Ruby shouted, leaving Blake and Weiss to charge into battle whilst you followed Ruby to fight alongside her.

Your smirk was obvious as you spotted Yang return from the vault with the relic.

Emerald's scream of despair broke that as you spun on your heel.

"What in fresh fuck-" You exclaimed, the screech of whatever Emerald had conjured cutting you off as it disappeared.

"What, what was that?" Blake spluttered, her ears against her head in shock.

"An illusion. But, an accurate one. That, was Salem." Ozpin explained as you sat on the floor with a huff.

"I need a nap." You exclaimed, leaning into Weiss as she held onto Ruby.

"So, Blake, what are you doing here?" Ruby asked, leaving Blake to nervously hold her wrist.

"I was going to ask you four the same thing." Blake admitted, leaving you to smile at her.

"That's a long story." Ruby chuckled, emphasising the long part.

"Well, I'm not going anywhere." Blake replied, pausing as she'd realised you'd fallen asleep on Weiss' shoulder.

"What a dolt." Weiss rolled her eyes, reaching out to pull Blake into the hug as your head rested on her knee.

You still hadn't told Weiss you were her cousin.
