The gloved hands run over your calves as he lays you down on the fresh mattress. You’re ethereal, even when unconscious and unaware, precious and inviting. He could be a predator, ready to take a bite of you between his viscous teeth, and you’d be none the wiser. 

So perfect. Untainted, yet so easy for the vile and filthy to get a hold of. He’s lucky to have found you, to be blessed by whatever rules these wretched planes and bring you where you belong-His home. 

Kai was by no means a saint, his gloved hands covered in blood and sin since the day his heart started pounding. But you? With your gentle touch, brilliant eyes, and ways to melt the coldest of hearts, he’d happily repent. He’d slaughter all of the city in just a snap if you asked, no hesitation. 

Ah, but his plans and devotion to you can’t be explained when you’re resting, now can they? As much as he adores watching you rest, he needs to awaken you, bring you back to him so you can see that your knight has come to rescue you. 

“Oh, my sweet divine creature” he purrs, massaging your calves as he gently spreads your legs apart. “Come back to me, cleanse my heart with the sight of your vibrant eyes”. He shudders when the skin of your ankle brushes against his wrist, so warm and soft. He debates removing his gloves entirely, but shakes the thought quickly. 

He has to secure you first and foremost, then he can see if you’ll bless him with touch and maybe even taste. Oh to have you on his tongue, allowing him to drink you in, drown in your euphoric essence, it’s enough to make the usually composed man salivate. 

You rouse slowly, eyebrows pinching when you feel cold metal clasp around your ankles and secure them. You twist, straining your arms that were placed behind your back, sensing that they were bound as well. Terrified eyes meet obsessive, sinister ones as you snap awake to see what in the world was going on, and if you had any hope of escape. 

The minute you saw who was holding you captive, you knew that chance was slim to none. 

Overhaul-one of if not THE most dangerous villains, has you tied down and vulnerable, and from what you can gather, is about to take you apart for god knows what. You swallow nervously, knowing begging wouldn’t make the monster change his mind. This is a fate hard to swallow, but you have to accept it. No matter how hard you fight, there is no escaping him. 

Others would possibly have a fighting chance, but you had no defense. You were quirkless, it’s as laughable of an escape as a kitten trying to be menacing. 

“Oh, there we are” he cooed, pressing his now unmasked face into the palm of his hand as he stared at you. “I must say, you look so tempting like this, so easy to devour and consume…But I won’t subject you to my hunger so early. However-” he drops his hand down, squeezing the meat of your legs as you wince “I must inform you on just how close I am to abandoning that idea. You’ve no idea what you do to me. How I’m completely and blissfully consumed by you and your presence. To have continued to control my urges thus far is nothing short of a miracle”. 

You’re confused, tensing up even more at the idea that Overhaul might just be a cannibal who gets off on tormenting his prey. “P-Please! Please don’t eat me! I-I don’t know what I did to make you angry but I’m sorry!” you abruptly plead, arms twisting again in the bindings behind your back, causing your hips to raise off of the bedding. 

In an effort to get away from the man, you’ve only managed to tease the beast even more, his mouth watering as he watched you writhe and beg. Oh the fantasies he could have with those noises alone. 

But this isn’t a fantasy anymore. This is finally his chance to show you how devoted he is, how he worships you and wants you to make him your favorite disciple. He gently pushes your hips back down, not wanting his beloved to stress and wear out as he explained his intentions, soothing your trembling legs with small circles as he crawled between them. 

“You could never anger me. Those varmints and flea ridden filth who come near you however…Heh they face my wrath. They hear the gospel I spew for you as I take them apart piece by piece, and by the time I’m done..they’re a brand new person, with the correct way of thinking”. 

Wait- did he mean he brainwashed them through torture? Or that he physically rearranged their minds? Either one was awful, and for whatever reason the psycho decided to do those heinous acts in YOUR name. It was too much to process, your mind racing as the man continues to fondle and touch you, hands still covered. 

“W-What are you talking about? What do you want from me?!” you yell out, coaxing an amused chuckle from him. Kai pulls his hands away reluctantly, making a show as he pulled off his gloves, his eyes half lidded as he looked down at you. “I want you to let me serve you. Let me bring you past the peaks of bliss you’ve become used to, and ascend you even further.” 

He shudders at the warmth underneath his fingertips, slowly dragging his touch over your skin as he removes what little clothing you had left, leaving you bare and under his depraved gaze. “Let me worship you…let my body be a tool for you to use, to bring you beyond bliss, I’ll do whatever it is you wish me to do”. 

You highly doubt that last part, but push that sarcasm to the back of your mind as humiliation takes over, your eyes clenching shut as your cheeks burn and tears form. “Please, you don’t have to do this! Just let me go!” you brokenly sob, shaking as he leans down to cup your face. “Oh, beloved…I’ve done that for too long. I’ve let you go without the proper treatment, I’ve let you go on long enough without your gospel and light being spread…I’m afraid I cannot continue those atrocities”. 

A pathetic cry leaves your lips as he kisses you, moaning into your mouth and pressing the back of your head to keep you still. His kiss was starved, demanding. Like he had finally been given the permission to eat a feast he had been denied for too long. 

And feast he did. Your mouth was so sweet, so pliant as you sobbed into him, fighting and wriggling as he drank in his fill. But he was a being born of greed and sin, and soon the lustful kisses weren’t enough. He hisses with clenched teeth as he pulls away, grinding his growing tent against your uncovered sex. “Oh, my sweet, yes! You taste even more delectable than I could ever have imagined!” he exclaimed breathlessly. He looks down to watch his cock leak and leave a wet patch on his pants, grinding the both of your sexes together. 

“Even clothed, you feel euphoric. I cannot wait to be blessed by all of your essence, to be dripping in it as you lay beneath me” he chuckled as he caught his breath, his cheeks tinted pink as he grinds just a bit harder and elicits a moan from you. 

“That’s it. Moan for me, my savior. Sing to me your holy melodies as I worship every inch of your skin” Kai praises, his fingers snaking down to slowly stroke you up and down, covering them in the slick substance as he grinned. 

Oh this evening will be the start of many love and lust filled ones. Kai wants to suckle on his fingers as they get drenched, but teasing you and making you drip is just as delicious. “I’m going to treat you the way you should have been treated all along. Hello Mr. Dapper! Love this blog and your many reimaginings of classic dnd deities and creatures. I was curious about something: Considering your dislike of purely evil gods and DnDs future focusing on the guy, what are your thoughts on Vecna?

Deity: Vecna, the Whispered One

My task of overhauling d&d’s villanous pantheon was started by a simple critique:  that if god was evil, there still needed to be a reason for people to worship it. To go with one example,  So many of the death gods in d&d want to kill everything that lives, yet they’re still presented as having legions of followers who are happy to die for them in opposition to the party.   You can say “Oh they’re just brainwashed, crazy cultists” but that’s just bad writing and thematically empty, neither of which I want for the sort of games I run. 

Vecna is actually an interesting case study in that he’s an outwardly wicked deity that has a theme which people would actively want to follow:   As a god of secrets, Vecna is the patron of any who will sacrifice anything to learn the answer to their problems, or conversely, the ones desperate to ensure their own secrets will never be known.  The story of Vecna as a mortal mage who attained first lichdom, then godhood is an aspirational one for all those power mad occultists out there, a common enough demographic in the d&d world both as villains and as player characters. 

Cults of Vecna worshippers likewise make sense as the whole point behind the historical practice of mystery cults was that those at the upper levels maintained their power through control of information and access to secret learnings.  You want to learn how to do magic? To speak to the dead? To protect your secrets from being known? Put on this ominous robe, learn the secret handshake, and don’t forget to drop your tithe intto the altar’s collection skull. Think of it like a forbidden knowledge based MLM. 

 Here’s some adventure hooks: 

While many of the whispered one’s acolytes dedicate themselves to discovering to the delving of arcane mysteries, others focus their attention on more worldly secrets. A powerful noblewoman is being blackmailed by a worshipper of Vecna not only for personal enrichment but also as an act of devotion, after he uncovered proof of indiscretions that would ruin her reputation.  While she’s too afraid to go for help herself and risk exposure, a devoted servant has seen her hidden suffering and has contacted the party for aid. 

Barely disguising its fiendish nature, a devil in service to Vecna approaches the party with an offer to reveal the secret intents or weaknesses of their enemies, if only they will deign to meet its terrible price.  While this information could do great good, or even save lives, just how low are the heroes willing to stoop? 

Seeking out the aid of a powerful mage, the party discover the old man on the brink of nervous collapse, having looked to deeply into the void and filled his mind with visions best left unmentioned.  Haunted by nightmares both real and imagined, he needs their help in quieting his mind through the gathering of rare ingredients and the distillation of a potent elixir. The process is not without risk however, are the party willing to help if it means erasing the information they need from his head, to say nothing of potentially lobotomizing the poor wizard?

here are my thoughts and things and whatever translation weirdness I find as I re-read ch 3 of Trigun Maximum vol 6!

(NOTE: I'm reading the Dark Horse [physical] and the Overhaul [online] translations side-by-side)

another example of how nuanced the Overhaul's translation is =u=

so these translation discrepancies alter my perspective of this bit. Dark Horse's unspecified "you" (which I always interpreted as something more general, so similar in meaning to "all of you") VS the Overhaul's "you, Crimsonnail"...and the differences between the "All the obstacles" speech bubbles has me all 🤨...and again, the nuance in the Overhaul's translation gives emphasis in places and hsrhfjxh idk, words hard. OVERHAUL GOOD.

also, I love the little bit of visual/narrative trickery with Legato mentioning (in the next panel) how the Eye of Michael's sending these guys, "Double Fang" and "Trip of Death"...

...and then showing us these two - and bc they aren't named yet, the impulse (at least for me) is to assume they are, in fact, these "Double Fang" and "Trip of Death" fellas!

the Overhaul's specific usage of "disciples" clearly connects this old man's group to "the church of plant worshippers" Legato mentions a few pages later - so they're not, like...just a bunch of rando Knives stans? which is what I get from Dark Horse's translation.

...I just noticed the middle panel. see those spikey dealies some of these dudes have on them? they've got my anthropologist brain working. I wonder if spikes like that are...idk, visual call-backs to Knives' knife-y abilities...perhaps regarded as religious symbolism the same way Christians might regard a crown of thorns... 🤔

also, to me, Dark Horse's translation implies that Knives deliberately ignores this group of devotees - which definitely sounds in-character for him. the Overhaul's usage of "yet" could be taken to mean the same thing - OR perhaps Knives isn't aware of all the different groups (denominations?) of the church of plant worshippers and he doesn't care. that also tracks.

oh, and right after this panel, Legato says in Dark Horse's translation "Rumor has it...these two are the best in the bunch" and, in the Overhaul's translation "The two on their way here...are said to be the best in the world." at this point, those two fellas on the motorcycle are still unnamed, and so it's still reasonable to assume Legato's talking about them...UNTIL...

...yeah, idk why Dark Horse leaves out their names here. even more baffling, though...

...is how Dark Horse fking omits Ogre starting to say "Double Fang" and alters the shape of the speech bubble on the next page.

Congrats on another milestone!!!

ok i know its been a WHILE but like.... worshipper! Stain???? Worshipper! Overhaul????? May I please please request one of those two (dealers choice?) With a male quirkless s/o? Maybe the s/o is a workaholic and needs to 'relax' more? Or what if the darling is VERY against being pampered and tries first and foremost to escape, but aside from that, tries to at least do some work like cleaning?

Idk man, brain rot.

Overhaul views his Darling as the one clean spot in a world of filth, so he doesn't want anything to compromise their existence. And overwork is one of those things lol. He'd decide to solve this problem by offering to take care of Darling so they never have to work again. He understands that a man has his pride and that Darling may feel like they need to provide for themselves, but that isn't the case. He just wants what's best for them.

He'd finally make that decision for Darling after they come home half an hour late than usual because his train had been delayed--by a Villain attack, no less. He'd bluntly tell Darling that he's not going to work anymore, not when it's making them this exhausted and even putting him in danger during their commute. They need to stay in the compound and if he really wants to work, he'll find something for Darling to do.

Overhaul loves seeing his Darling clean, and it's a calming thing for him to tidy up and sanitize their quarters together. He'll make sure Darling has a full stock of cleaning supplies, aprons, gloves, etc. And coming back from a long day to the faint smell of floor polish and seeing Darling folding his laundry fills him with a sense of calm and contentment that he isn't used to feeling.

If Darling keeps trying to run himself ragged and overworks himself, Overhaul would "prescribe" him a little relaxer and slip it into Darling's food every so often. Not enough to make it a habit, or make him suspicious, though. Every few weeks he'll suddenly find himself more drowsy and Overhaul will insist that Darling take an early night off to rest.

Darling is one of the few people he can touch without being repulsed. Though sometimes he's afraid to touch them with his bare hands and risk contaminating them somehow with his own filth (or rather, the filth he's had to come into contact with during whatever criminal shit he's been doing).

I have the bones of a steddie fic but not its skeleton and here it is:

In season 4 there is technically no upside down and Jason did the murders and is purposely trying to frame Eddie. Everyone that knows about the upside-down thinks that the recent events are upside-down related. It's technically not because El did succeed in closing all gates. So the C-plot with the adults is largely unchanged; Joyce and Murray attempt to jailbreak Hopper from the Russian jail where the jailers are attempting to open a gate and are failing. They have no (alive) demogorgons so no colosseum match against one. However, there are two things of note. After months of failing spectacularly, right before Joyce and Murray arrived at the Gulag they get their first moni success. Secondly, Murray has been keeping an eye on Jason, maybe even Eddie and the other soon-to-be victims because of something he witnessed happen a while back. If he was still in Hawkins he would have pointed directly at Jason when the murders began.

The b plot with El and the gang remains largely the same. Because everyone thinks it's upside-down related the government still blames El and tries to capture her the exact same way. She still ends up in the lab with Papa to get back her powers and learns of Henry and what really happened im the lab all those years ago. El realizes that while it might not be an upside-down mess something is telling her that someone has poked the gate. So now they are rushing to Hawkins.

The A plot gets the massive overhaul.

Not entirely sure where to start but im the bench scene with Eddie and Chrissy. Maybe not the entire conversation but something about it being a while since they last spoke and things needing to change and the pressure of being perfect and then we get the "Do you ever feel like losing your mind?" line. Eddie offers her the "good stuff" and invites her to the trailer. However, he tells her that if she arrives first to use the hidden spare key and let herself in because he might run late.

The next few scenes happen just like the show except, Steve doesn't go to the basketball game on a date and there's a run-in with Eddie. Positive? Negative? Im not sure, but it delays Eddie a bit more in finally reaching home. Where he finds Chrissy dead on the floor, a mangled mess in an inhuman way. He immediately runs away and doesn't tell the police because there is a beloved cheerleader that is either 2 or 3 years younger than him brutally murdered in the trailer living room of a suspected drug dealer and accused devil worshipper that is trying to graduate for the second or third time. Two people that should not be around each other and normally aren't. He knows what they would assume. So he gets the fuck out of there and prays to whatever deity exists that no one saw him come home. Also, for a second he swore he saw a silhouette standing over the body flickering out of existence. So Eddie hides.

We follow the plot, with Steve telling Robin about the encounter with Eddie and sounding slightly homoerotic about it when the news breaks about a murder and then Dustin and Max bursts in and the search for Eddie is underway similar to the show. Max says that she heard Eddie drive up to his trailer late last night/early morning but he barely stayed a minute before driving off. Also, before he arrived she remembered seeing her lights flicker and they decide to find Eddie to see what he saw or knew. Maybe even get to him before the eventual mob. They eventually find him at the lake.

Over with Lucas and the basketball team, they are waiting to be interviewed. Lucas has a vague memory of something about Jason knocking on his skull from that night but can not remember it. He watches how Jason reacts towards the news about Chrissy and immediately feels as though something is not right with his jump straight to blood thirsty agression. He also clocks how much more disturbed and affected Patrick is by it. But he puts it away from current thoughts. Chrissy and Patrick were really close friends. He also barely notices that Jason disappears a bit after being interrogated.

Over with Nancy, everything is the same at the trailer park except maybe no Fred hallucinations. Nancy learns about Victor Creel from Wayne and Fred wanders off in the woods after noticing something. Nancy eventually notices Fred's disappearance and tells the officer.

We move back to Steve and his group finding Eddie in the boathouse and Steve getting held up against the wall with a broken bottle to his neck but it stirs some feelings in him he had not expected leaving him a bit breathless. Everything more or less happens in the same dialogue wise except Eddie saying that he wasn't there when it happened and saw a flickering shadow over Chrissy. This leads them to assume Upside down nonsense and they tell Eddie about it. Dustin ends up naming tge shadow Vecna

The group leave. They return. They tell Eddie the cops are looking for him but haven't publicly released his name. While there they see the police speed by and the group decides to follow them, finding the second victim, Fred, dead the se way Eddie described Chrissy and Nancy being interrogated. Nancy sees them and assumes upside down.

While updating Nancy on what they know they try to find the correlation between Chrissy and Fred when Max brings up Miss Kelley and the plot plots like the source except for no visions. Oh and more Steve and Eddie interactions.

Over with Lucas, he realises that what Jason is doing is less than a search or even a manhunt. It almost feels like missionary works, telling people about Eddie instead of looking for him. Even when they went by the band it felt like he was trying to make the band doubt Eddie. They were "lucky" that they mentioned Dustin as knowing as it gives Lucas the chance to get to his radio and in contact with the others and run away. He also notices how shaken up Patrick is about hearing about the death of Fred and how unsure and shifty he seems to keep looking at Jason. Before Lucas gets away he is either told by or overhears Patrick mentioning something happening some months ago.

Back with Max, the councillor refuses to share information on Chrissy and tries to bring up Billy and an incident from a fee months ago. Max storms off, steals the keys and breaks into the school with Dustin and Steve. where she learns that Chrissy and Fred were experiencing the same things including the feeling that something menacing was staring at and hunting her. While there she begins to feel that feeling again.

Everyone sans Eddie and Lucas meet up at the school where they share findings and Max reveals that she is the next target. Everyone doubles down on the Vecna thing, but something has Steve wanting to press X for doubt.

Instead of ending up in the Wheeler basement, they go back to Eddie and they plan there with Lucas who met them at the house. While they start piecing together Vecna's life and filling him in. Steve and Eddie have another bonding moment. Eddie is a bit wary and Steve tells him that he is not sure this is upside-down related to the way they think it is but he doesn't tell the group because he has no evidence for the contrary.

This time instead of Steve volunteering to go with Nancy, Nancy asks Steve to go with her and Steve offers up Robin because they need at least one person that can drive and isnt wanted for murder. And when Nancy argues that she doesn't really know Robin like that Steve suggests that he and Robin go and Nancy stays with the kids. Nancy takes Robin.

Steve and Eddie have a few more moments when Lucas tells Steve and Patrick what he noticed about Jason and Patrick, triggering something in Eddie but no time to explore that. Max hands out the letters including one to Eddie and threatens Steve to take her where she wants to go and Dustin and Lucas tag along.

At the cemetery, Max instead of getting lifted in the air notices that has a calm talk with the gravestone. Meanwhile, as they wait for her to finish talking to Billy, Lucas tells Steve that while she had brokenup with him she hadnt pulled away until a few months ago abruptly. Dustin dismisses it but Steve doesn't. They get the call around the time Max returns about the music and they get the Walkman on her but the feeling of being watched and hunted doesn't stop. She is also confused by the mention of hallucinations. Nancy takes it to mean that maybe Max got it wrong and she wasn't the next one to be killed but Max believes otherwise. They radio over to Eddie and say they are going to the Creel house.

We check in on Jason and he splits the team up, taking an increasingly sad and nervous Patrick with him to look for Eddie. However, instead of going where they said they were going, Jason tells Patrick that they are heading to Rick's place.

Over in the Creel house, they find little presence of the upside-down other than Max or maybe Steves' flashlight flickering for two seconds. Similar to the researchers finding an alarmingly weak signal of energy at the trailer. Even demogorgons leave s higher trace. Dustin and the rest of the group sans Steve don't know what to do with this information.

Over at Reefer Rick Eddie has started to put 2 and 2 together and is getting 22 but the answer is still somehow right. Jason shows up and Eddie tries to reason with Jason but it's of no use. Jason says that they got what they deserve for that night. At this Patrick tries to talk Jason down, buying enough time for Eddie to jump into the boat and start it. But Jason keeps going and barely pays attention to Eddie,

"I might have spared Chrissy if she hadn't broken up with me the other night!" He laughs like a crazy person, "I wanted to get that little Redhead too, but," he sighs, 'I'll settle for only you two."

Jason kills Patrick and Eddie gets away. Does he do it with powers, I don't know.

The group finds Eddie at Skull Rock, and the compass thing happens but not as dramatically. They think it's another Vecna attack but Max takes one look at Eddie and she knows that it is not.

Then something happens and the group splits up like in the show. Not too sure how but it results in the group splitting up and Steve getting hurt. Im thinking that they split up to check the places where the murders happened. The lights flickering and the compass swivelling are concerning. They may have checked the lake and seen a tiny gate with nothing coming out of it because it's too small. The children check the trailer and the older teens check the road and some bats fly out the road gate and attack Steve.

While taking care of Steve and the crack that's when Eddie tells them that whatever upsidedown shit is happening it's a coincidence because Jason is the killer getting revenge for something that happened months ago that involves Chrissy, Patrick, Fred, Max, Jason and himself. I don't know what the incident is but it leaves Jason insanely mad and everyone else involved decided to keep quiet about it. This is the reason Murray had been keeping an eye on Jason because he saw what happened.

Max also spills to the younger teens and they realise they need to catch a person and not a flesh monster with telekinetic powers so they pick up Erica and radio the older teens so they could meet back up at either the trailer or Steve's house.

Jason on the other hand has raised a mob to hunt Eddie and probably enact mob justice just in case he can't make a "hero" of himself and kill Eddie. Andy notices blood on Jason in a place it should not be and is now watching him

It is at this point I have no idea what happens next other than Jason is defeated (most likely through Scooby-Doo shenanigans), no one dies and El explains that his actions were being used by the very real and weakened Henry Creel/Vecna to open a way from the upside down into Hawkins and if he had killed one more person it would have been enough. And Steddie happens.

This is much longer than I expected, but these are my thoughts. I would love to see someone write this and if they do please tag me.

"Fighter jets recently attacked a site for the production of weapons and another site for the production and storage of weapons used by the terrorist organization Hamas in the center of the Gaza Strip," the IDF said in a statement.

According to the Israeli military, the attack was in retaliation for a volley of rockets being fired at them from the Gaza Strip.

"This attack constitutes an injury to the ability of the terrorist organization Hamas to strengthen and arm itself," the IDF statement added.

Earlier Wednesday, as worshipers gathered in Jerusalem’s Old City, Israeli police stormed into the Al-Aqsa Mosque to arrest alleged Palestinian agitators. Israeli police said they moved in after "several law-breaking youths and masked agitators" barricaded themselves into the mosque and began chanting violent slogans.

The suspects also brought fireworks, sticks and stones, which were later used on the Israeli police, officials said.

The police ended the disruption at the Jerusalem holy site — an area where religious practices are observed by Palestinians and Israeli people — by using rubber bullets and stun grenades to disperse the youthful crowds.

"After many and prolonged attempts to get them out by talking to no avail, police forces were forced to enter the compound in order to get them out," police said.

Police said some 350 people were arrested. One officer was injured in the leg, they said.

Hamas also called for protesters to head for the Gaza-Israel border for additional violent demonstrations.

The fighting comes as Muslims mark the holiday month of Ramadan and Jewish people prepare to begin the weeklong Passover holiday at sundown on Wednesday.

The dispute is reminiscent of similar clashes two years ago, which escalated into an 11-day war between Israel and Hamas terrorist group in Gaza.

On Aug. 18, 2022, it was reported that this blasphemer said, “We don’t need some God in the clouds handing down tablets” (the Ten Commandments) because we’ve created our own cloud (the Internet cloud) and our own tablets (computers).

On Aug. 18, 2022, one writer opined (based on Harari’s writings in 2018) that the blasphemous Harari believes, “There is no truth, only power” (according to the Bible, Jesus is truth, the Scriptures are truth, etc.), and he said, “Humans prefer power to truth.”

Here are recent current events that seem to indicate that the New World Order will soon take over this world.

Some have asked me what this means. I don’t think it means very much; Erdogan cannot be trusted. He will abandon his agreement and join Russia, Iran, etc., when God decides to drag them onto the mountains of Israel. He is not in control. God is in control.

Two, concerning Covid: on Aug. 17, 2022, the head of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) acknowledged that the agency made major mistakes in its handling of Covid, and as a result, the CDC will be overhauled.

There is no question that the CDC needs to be overhauled (their major mistakes have led to adverse reactions to jabs, including the death of some people, skepticism about the veracity of the CDC, skepticism about the value of wearing a mask, people losing their jobs, people not being allowed to buy drugs that work such as Ivermectin, etc.). But government agencies don’t usually do a good job of overhauling themselves, and the people responsible for these major mistakes (the head of the CDC and others) may need to be replaced.

Four, concerning the coming of Messiah: on Aug. 19, 2022, the speaker on a prophecy program said that an Israeli rabbi is saying Messiah will return after Rosh Hashanah this year (Sept. 25, 2022). I hope the rabbi is right, but he is speculating, and there have been a lot of wrong speculators through the years.

Keep in mind what the great Ed Hindson used to say:

When He comes, this Rosh Hashanah or whenever, we definitely need to be ready.

Five, concerning the deceit, persecution, censorship, and famine: Aug. 15, 2022, was the one-year anniversary of Pres. Biden’s withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, an event that Pres. Biden said went off “as designed” even though 13 U.S. service members were killed and billions of dollars of weapons were abandoned.

According to The Washington Free Beacon, in the 12 months since America’s “designed” withdrawal:

Afghan women have been banned from attending school.

There has been a crackdown on the Afghan media.

There have been mass executions of Afghan citizens.

The Afghan economy has declined by more than 60%.

About 20 million Afghans are going hungry, impoverished, or malnourished.

Afghanistan has returned to being a haven for terrorists.

Six, concerning famine and food shortages: on Aug. 23, 2022, the Chief Economist at the UN World Food Programme (WFP) said,

“50 million people across 45 countries are already on the verge of famine.”

“Another 345 million people are facing starvation across 80 countries.”

These numbers have increased 25% “from the start of the year.”

The situation is growing worse, and the U.S. will not be exempt forever.

Seven, concerning natural disasters: on Aug. 16, 2022, the White House announced that Arizona will receive 21% less water, Nevada will receive 8% less water, and northern Mexico will receive 7% less water from the Colorado River starting on Jan. 1, 2023.

For the time being, California, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming will not be cut.

Arizona believes the White House is treating that state unfairly. That appears to be true, but regardless of how the water is divided, it is a fact that a severe drought is threatening 40 million people with the loss of their water and electricity.

God told King Solomon, “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (II Chron. 7:13-14).

Eight, concerning threats to America: on Aug. 22, 2022, Tulsi Gabbard, former Rep. from Hawaii, said, “The greatest threat to our democracy is not Trump voters or parents protesting at school board meetings, but the permanent Washington elite which has weaponized the govt and teamed up with corporate media to intimidate and silence those who dare to disagree with them.”

Many prophecy teachers call the “permanent Washington elite” that Gabbard was referring to “the shadow government” because they influence America’s government and are working to surrender America’s sovereignty to a world government.

A recent poll found that 74% of those polled think America is going in the wrong direction.

Kai tried to keep you as safe as possible. So much so that he locked you away from everyone and giving you whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted. His goal was to keep you safe, pure, and loved. And yet, even after all his persuasions, he failed. You had been stolen.

It was truly idiotic to think that stealing a yakuza leaders precious captive was a good idea. It didn’t take very long to find out that a smaller villain gang had taken you in an attempt to lure Kai out to kill him. The only reason that they were even able to get to you was because one person in the gang he a useful quirk.

Kai, now, walks through this villain base. Killing anyone or anything that gets in his way. He doesn’t care about the blood on him, or how unsanitary it is, all he thinks about is you. Did they lay their dirty hands on you? Were you alright? What if you weren’t even here? So many thoughts cloud his mind while every breathing thing he sees, that isn’t you, perishes

He continues walking down the grimy halls, not listening to any pleas of forgiveness while he takes the apart with his quirk. Kai continues destroying doors and watching the blood be shed. He can’t even find it in him to be disgusted by the filth, unless it’s about you. He’s more disgusted with himself that he let this happen, he wasn’t careful enough with you. He should’ve protected you more.

Kai destroys another grungy door, seeing three men in the room. Upon seeing them, Kai reaches down towards the floor, large spikes coming through two of them. Blood splatters all over him, the walls, the floor, everything. The last alive man in the room begins to pathetically blubber, pleading for his life. Before Kai can kill him, he notices another body on the floor. It’s you.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no

Kai quickly kills the man, no remorse. Especially after what they had done. You can’t be gone, you just can’t. And yet, you lay lifeless on the dingy floor. Kai is normally not one to jump to conclusions however seeing you lying on the floor, unmoving, what else is he supposed to think besides the fact that you’re dead.

You’re really gone aren’t you? The one pure thing in the entire world, his love. Kai pm;y slumps to the floor in front of your unmoving body. He stays like that for he doesn’t know how long, eventually bringing his hand up to your face. There is blood on your beautiful skin. Kai can feel tears sting the corners of his eyes, only for him to tilt his head back to stop them.

“Kai” you mumble. Fluttering your eyes open to be met with, the usually stotic yakuza boss, now with tears in his eyes. Kai only continues looking up, believing it’s a figment of his imagination, until he feels you weakly reach out for him.

“Don’t look” Kai mumbles, covering your eyes with his hand. He doesn’t want you to see the bloody massacre he caused, you’re to pure for that. “You’re ok” You whisper, smiling before continuing “It hurts” you croak, clearly referring to your bleeding head which had clearly been hit with something.

“We’ll go home, Y/n-sama. I’ll clean up your injuries and bathe you, alright?” Kai says, feeling your body scoot slightly closer to his for warmth. He’s not expecting an answer to his question, only for you to agree. Which you do. Kai should have been more careful with you. He won’t make this mistake again. He’ll find somewhere safer to keep you, somewhere more secluded.

The reader's clumsiness is not a major trait for the storyline I'm going, it was just a little ask I did. But let's talk about how Overhaul meets Midoriya reader.

Okay, so I plan on Kai becoming the reader's love interest, so I can see Kai just doing background checks on the LOV and low and behold, he find someone they hold dear, you. Of course, he has his goons stalking you, finding everything they can on you and then some.

He probably kidnaps you and holds you as leverage against the LOV. But then he begins to fall for you, and he falls hard. Like the yandereness hits him out of nowhere, like a bitchslap.

Now, in the main storyline, the reader has a powerful quirk (that I'll talk about in another post), so he falls for your personality (also related to your quirk) or something.
