While Malleus ponders your answer, you plopped down right next to him on the couch.

“What does this…kidnapping entail?”

You could tell Malleus was humoring you. He found this whole situation funny and yet intriguing.

“For you? Just sit there look pretty and enjoy all the snacks, games, and movies I have.”

Malleus laughed lowly, “YN, I do have duties to fulfill. I can’t just sit here.”

You shrugged, “One day without work won’t bring down your dorm. Besides, all work and no play make dragons go cranky.”

Malleus laughed freely and you joined him this time, “Is that so? Then I shall join in this activity with you.”

You laid the nearby comforter over you and Malleus before starting your T.V.

It would be a good day; you would make sure of it.

“This warrior does not speak?”

“Kind of. He talks he’s just not voice acted, but he does make sounds when you attack with him.”

“Interesting. A silent and courageous warrior who will save his kingdom and the princess.”

“Reminds you of someone?”

“This Link reminds me of Silver. They share many similar qualities.”

You joked, “Are you the princess then?”

“I am a prince, am I not?” Malleus replied, before softly continuing, “and Silver has saved me, from myself.”

You bumped your shoulder with his, “That’s love for you.”

“Yes, it is.”

“That crocodile and that pirate…”

“Funny, isn’t it?”

“Yes, especially as Kingscholar dressed as one during Halloween.”

“Does the crocodile remind you of Sebek?”

The glint in Malleus' eyes answered your question.

You can only imagine Sebek's reaction if he knew, “Well with the way Sebek is always barking at Leona, I can't blame you for thinking it.”

Ah, you were going to hold this over Sebek's head forever.

“Those fairies should have never been given the child.”

“Yeah…”

“They haven’t properly fed her, even Lilia knew to feed a baby!”

“Yeah.”

“She almost fell off the cliff!”

“I know. They suck.”

You tugged at Malleus’ hair, “At least she had someone to take care of her, two of them in fact.”

Malleus calmed down knowing exactly to whom you referred, “Yes, those days were filled with laughter and warmth even amidst the chaos. How…nostalgic.”

Malleus leaned towards you; a mischievous glint in his eyes, it reminded you of a certain pink-streaked fae, “Want to hear an embarrassing story grandmother told me about Lilia?”

“Yes! I’m all ears!”

You watched as Tsunotaro enjoyed Toothless and Hiccup's adventures.

You knew he would like this series.

You wondered how Sam had the trilogy.

…you would question him thoroughly later.

You were content to watch Tsunotaro be happy.

His family is never far from his thoughts as he is never far from theirs.

You felt happy to be part of his family.

“YN, is there a reason to why we are making cupcakes this late at night?”

He didn’t know.

You hid your smile as you put the tray of goodies into the oven.

Malleus must have enjoyed his day if he forgot why tonight would be special.

“Anytime is a good time for cupcakes, just like how you can have ice cream even during winter.”

“I thought it was easier for human’s teeth to decay due to late night sugary treats?”

“We’ll be fine! Just make sure to brush your teeth and don’t tell Trey -senpai.”

You went over to the nearby drawer. The confetti poppers were there as planned, just a few more minutes before the time came, so you snuck them into your pocket discreetly.

“Let’s go play more Zelda.”

You and Malleus moved towards the lounge; you eyed the hallway clock on the way.

Less than a minute.

You took out the poppers from your pocket.

“Malleus?”

“Yes?”

You pulled the poppers out just as he entered the ramshackle lounge.

“Happy Birthday (Lord) Malleus!”

Malleus was shocked as confetti rained on him from all sides.

Lilia, Silver, Sebek, and you surrounded him as the day turned over.

His surprised face broke into a wide smile before an unrestrained joyous laughter filled the lounge.

What a beautiful start to today.

The day Malleus Draconia was born.

A day filled with endless love.

“Is he mine?” Lewis Hamilton x Black!Reader

The last race of the season, Y/n was anticipating the arrival of the last driver for their post-race interviews. She walked from one end of the booth to the next, memorising the questions she had for him while her one-year-old blabbed in her arms.

Lewis was calming the adrenaline from the race, getting himself ready for his very last interview of the year, knowing that his ex-fiancé, which was an entire secret from everyone, was the person waiting to question him.

Y/n walked with her baby, giving him some gentle kisses before handing him off to her co-worker Jenson who took off with him to God knows where before Lewis arrived. Walking up to the booth, Lewis took his time to give her a short once over and a gentle smile; his face showing emotions of regret.

Going through with the interview, Lewis took his time listening and answering her questions sincerely. Almost finished answering a question, Lewis paused when he felt something or someone was using his legs to stabilise itself, he looks down to notice a baby with surprising features that mirrored his own and wearing his merch, giving him an almost toothless grin.

Smiling at the little one, Lewis picked him up rocking from side to side as he spoke to him. “Hi little guy, where’d you run off from huh? Where’s mommy or daddy?” He asked the toddler that was giggling away from the tickles. The baby slowly calmed down but then started getting fussy when he realised his mommy standing on the other side and so he started whining and wiggling to get free.

“Y/n I can’t find- oh thank God, you found him. Little man you have no idea how much trouble you’d put me in if I didn’t find you.” Jenson said breathlessly as he took the toddler from Lewis’ arms, leaving him puzzled for a moment looking between the two journalists. “You just wanted to see mommy, didn’t you? You can’t just go running off sweet boy, you almost gave uncle a heart attack” Jenson reasoned with the toddler who obviously was not focused on him but was stretching towards his mommy.

A big wail erupted from the now frustrated toddler as tears started pouring from his eyes. “Mama!!” The baby boy cried which knocked Y/n out of her trance as she quickly took him from her co-worker’s hands, thanking him for watching him. Fussing about, the toddler started nestling against her chest which signifies that he was hungry.

“I have one last question for you and then you’re free to go” Y/n said to Lewis as she hushed her baby whose head was now nestled in her neck. “I won’t answer that question unless you answer the one I have for you right now” Lewis countered, which had the on looking fans and co-workers silent as they awaited to hear the question and answer as Y/n nodded in fear, already knowing what the question would be. “Is he mine?” Lewis asked, the entire paddock gasping in shock as no one knew anything about Lewis having any relationships after his famous ex.

Y/n's eyes welled with tears as she nodded her head yes, walking off from the booth not bothering to ask her last question, making her way towards the journalism department. With her baby being breastfed beneath the blanket, Y/n made her way out of the department heading for the car park, when Toto blocked her path. Shifting the blanket, not only Toto but the cameras zoomed in to realise that she was feeding the toddler. “Let’s go to my office for a couple of minutes. I want you to speak with Lewis so that the both of you can have some common ground.” Toto explained as he led the crying young woman to the Mercedes motor home.

Upon entering the office, Lewis immediately rose from his seat to hug Y/n’s shaking form, helping her to sit with the now sleeping toddler. “How did you go through this, and I was unaware of it? Why didn’t you tell me? Is he doing okay health wise? Was there any complications or damage?” Lewis asked in a rush as he took his son from her arms while comforting the emotional woman. “It was fine honestly. I took a year off and asked them to tell you that I transferred to Moto GP and even though I struggled, it wasn’t that bad. The labour pain was brutal, almost broke my pelvis but it was a successful birth” Y/n ranted about her experience. “I never told you because that’s the reason you called it quits. You told me you didn’t want to have children at this time, and you wished that I would take even more of extra precautions, but it was already too late and that’s why I kept fighting to say we should have at least one, yet you broke it off and completely expelled me from anything that wasn't work related. I had no choice because you wouldn’t listen whenever I tried to speak to you before or after work, I had to do what was for me” she furthered, every word planted memories into his head as Lewis started a similar wailing as to the one his son did before, over his mistake.

“I’m sorry Y/n, I’m so sorry! I never meant to hurt you this way. If I had known I would’ve stayed, I would’ve been there helping the entire time, I had no idea what was going on with me back then and I have no excuse so I’m apologising, please let me make it right with you?!” Lewis pleaded as he hugged onto his baby and ex-fiancé. “I’m sorry Lew but I can’t grant you that. I can allow you to be in your son’s life and all, but I can’t date you again. I’m seeing someone who had been there since the beginning after you abandoned me, and I really love him. I can’t just up and leave him now that you’re back” Y/n explained making Lewis even more sad at the thought that another man had been caring for his could have been wife and son if not for his stupid mistake that cost him the woman he always wanted. He understood where she was coming from and accepted his faith.

“Thank you for allowing me to be with my son, I promise you that I’ll always be the best father to him. But can I ask a personal question if you agree?” Lewis timidly said to which Y/n nodded for him to go on with it. “Who is it…The guy you’re dating?” He asked, scared for the answer which knocked the air from his lungs when Y/n answered “Fernando Alonso”.

After the talk and planning for co-parenting, Lewis led Y/n towards the door, phone in hand buzzing off hook as every news outlet had known and started posting articles about the baby by now. Toto stood at the computer with George and Mick as Fernando was allowed in to collect the sleeping toddler. “Nice race Lewis, I know that we’ve always been rivals and all, but I promise you that your son and of course his mother is safe with me. I will never go against any rules that you might have for me regarding your son as long as we both agree to respect each other and our boundaries” Fernando explained reaching out the two men shook hands and hugged before Y/n was led away towards Fernando car. Lewis was now left standing alone as reality hit, noting that he had lost what could have been his family due to his foolish mistakes that he was sure to never make again.

You had taken refuge on an island, one you had no idea had other hybrids and dragons.

This is where you meet Hiccup.

As this Hiccup is like regular Hiccup and Toothless, his courting is still goofy and inexperienced.

Although this would be the first time Hiccup saw a female hybrid.

For example, Astrid is in this AU as a Deadly Nadder hybrid.

This is, however, Hiccup's first time seeing a female Light Fury... or any Light Fury at all.

Night Furies are still rare, his father and mother are most likely hybrids (or adoption I guess) so there isn't many.

Which is sort of what makes Hiccup excited about you as he hasn't seen many of the Fury line.

He notices your injuries and offers you a home on Berk, you're hesitant... even hostile at first.

But soon you relent and follow the fellow hybrid somewhere safer.

Your recovery and life in this new place is what grows Hiccup's obsession.

As you recover he makes subtle advances to court you.

Gifts, dances/displays, affectionate gestures, etc.

You most likely don't reciprocate but try to keep him as an ally and a friend.

He doesn't give up though.

Hiccup is overprotective of you due to you being an outsider that's been attacked before.

He naturally also shows possessive behavior due to your similarities in species and his wish to take you as his mate.

Which no doubt means he reacts aggressively to other male hybrids around you.

Hiccup tries to resolve issues in a non-violent way due to being the "Alpha", but he is fully capable of it.

For example, he would kill Dragon Hunters if they tried to hurt you again.

That or he will fight off other hybrids if they showed any interest in you.

He's protecting you... he claims you.

Hiccup definitely tries to show interest towards you through every little actions.

He follows you when hunting, he takes flies with you, he us always close by.

Hiccup's end goal is no doubt to make a family with you.

He plans to take his time courting you... he doesn't care how long it takes.

Hello! And yes i do! Here are some of the sketches :D I don't have written down how i want the interactions between the characters to be yet. I choose the 10th doctor for now but i'm still in doubt of which regeneration i want hiccup to meet

I don't have like an AU or a story planned (? but i can share some little ideas under the cut.

The first time they meet is by accident. Hiccup and toothless got separated. It's the night fury the one that hears a strange sound. Following it into a cave there were dragons in cages along with a man with strange clothes opening those cages. The man sees the dragon and greets it, He calls himself The doctor. And tells toothless to get away before the dragon trappers get back to the cave.

The doctor invites hiccup and toothless to travel with him. Promising an adventure not only far away from the archipielago, but far away in the stars. When they see the tardis for the first time hiccup couldn't believe that it was bigger inside. He even started to take measures and making notes.

Hiccup learns that the doctor can speak dragon. He watches as the doctor and toothless hold a very long conversation. When he asks about it the doctor just says "Isn't it obvious? I speak dragon. Don't worry toothless was just saying good things. " Hiccup wants to learn dragon speech.

Hipo at first goes traveling with the doctor without telling anyone since they can go back home 5 minutes after leaving, time travel stuff. This is perfect for hiccup, he can go and have this crazy adventures without compromising his duties as the son of the chief.

Of course if you are observant you would notice that the boy started to became more taller really fast, and when asked about things that happened in the day he wouldn't remember those very well. This starts making problems.

- Hiccup and toothless go with the doctor and see different worlds, space whales and dragons surfing through the stars. The technology and the change of scenery can be too much but they are de terminated to explore and learn.

For the hiccup and jack ship in this Doctor who crossover.

This is in our time present (2023). When jack first appears, he is like a ghost. Can't be seen so he is always alone. Like a wind. He spends his time doing pranks and helping missing kids go back home.

His body is trapped in an old alien machine but his mind is " roaming free" in the world. That machine is inside an alien spaceship that fell into the earth many years ago. Jack "found it" when he fell into the frozen lake +/- 300 years ago. Jack like in the movie has seen the world go forward.

Jack can't go time travel into the TARDIS since his connection with his body will be broken. They can still travel around the globe.

In between adventures Hiccup and the doctor visit Jack. It's the most "normal life adventures" they can get lol. Jack teaches Hiccup about the technology and what the 21st century has to offer. Videogames, comics, how he spooks people in old buildings. Hell they can even go and urban exploration. Stop the typical alien invasion with the doctor. Jack meeting toothless. Hiccup talking about his life back at berk and his adventures with the doctor.

One day a group of aliens attacks a city searching for this machine. The doctor alongside Hiccup, Toothless and Jack try to stop the enemies plan. They discover the machine and that jack's body is inside of it. If the enemy finds it they will kill jack in order to use it themselves, the doctor wanted to destroy the machine but now they now is the only thing that is keeping jack "alive."

Now i don't know what they will do after that. Haven't thought much about it. But i know that i want Hiccup to meet both jack in the future, and in the past (before getting trapped in the machine) Maybe he does time after jack is gone. The doctor takes Hiccup 300 years in the past and meets Jackson Overland the week before he falls into the lake and into the machine.

He can´t stop what's going to happen to Jack but he can prolong it. So one day he asks him if he would like to join them. He does. Until jack decides to go back with his family and the day after that he falls into the ice.

I'm sorry that Jack/Hiccup doesn't have a happy ending. My friends told me that i can be a little angst machine.

Hiccup gave Toothless more than just his wings back

I feel like the fandom talks a lot about how much Toothless gave Hiccup, but a lot of people seem to reduce what Hiccup did for Toothless to "letting him fly again," when it's really so much more than that, so I wanted to put this out there.

We learn that the reason the dragons raid Berk is to feed the Red Death, who will eat them if they don't satisfy her hunger. But one of the first things we learn about Toothless is that the Night Fury never steals food, which means that he does not feed the Red Death, yet he still attacks Berk. Why? Notice how he specifically targets Berk's major dragon-fighting weaponry, the catapults. Toothless is protecting his fellow dragons, because he cares about them.

This is why Toothless brings Hiccup and Astrid to the dragons' nest. He needs them to understand the truth about why the dragons attack Berk. If they see the tyrannical behemoth that the dragons live in fear of, maybe they will be able to do something about it.

Neither dragons nor humans alone could defeat the Red Death. Dragons, despite their immense strength, high intelligence, and power of flight, lack the power of spoken language, so they cannot organize a revolt against the Red Death. And when all of Berk's most seasoned Viking warriors reach Dragon Island, they find themselves utterly powerless against the titanic dragon.

It is only when Hiccup and his former dragon-fighting classmates show up on the backs of dragons that the tides of battle turn against the Red Death. Teamwork between these two former enemy groups is what brings the queen down and ends three centuries of war, something that never could've happened had Hiccup and Toothless never defied what was expected of themselves and formed their forbidden friendship.

So yes, just as Toothless gave Hiccup the courage to stand up for what was right and bring peace to the Vikings of Berk, Hiccup gave Toothless the freedom for his kind to live in peace, without fear of being devoured by an insatiable tyrant or being felled by the blades of Viking warriors.

Betrayal

I was going to make this a fun post, but then I discovered that there are Dagur gifs on here and...yeah, that light topic didn't happen. So, here goes a little sad something.

I think these frames of animation are very interesting. Actually, this entire scene is to me. It's in "The Night and the Fury" and is right after Dagur learns that Hiccup lied. I love how this occurred because it would have been so easy to just have him be like, "You have dragons? Okay, now I'm about to kill you." They didn't do that, though. Even as Dagur is connecting the dots, he harps on the fact that a lie was told. "Your father lied to me...YOU lied to me!" If you go back to Dagur's threat from "Twinsanity," he never even said that he'd attack Berk if they had dragons. He specifically said he would if he found out they did after they denied it. Technically speaking, Dagur could have attacked immediately if he wanted to, but he still had the intention of keeping the peace. These expressions in the gif are right after he says, "You could've been my brother, Hiccup. Now, you're my enemy." When he says this, he actually sounds sad. His expressions match that. Dagur, Mr. Gets Angry At The Drop Of A Helmet didn't immediately respond with rage. He's hurt and I think I know why.

Dagur doesn't perceive things like other Vikings to put it lightly. When he has his first episode, he's talking about how he and Hiccup had great laughs after he tries to drown the poor Berkian. He calls Hiccup his old friend when they see each other again in the episode with the gif. I think he genuinely believes this. For the strange things Dagur does, he doesn't see it. So, it's not just someone lying to him, it's his best, his ONLY friend lying to him and making him looking like a cool in front of his tribe. That's why he sounds sad instead of angry. That's why he has to look away and think through what his next move is. Yes, he attacks, but what are his options?

Hiccup doesn't give him any more time to think. He tries to leave with Toothless, so Dagur has to act then. Regarding his options, they all are bleak. If he attacks, then you have war and what we got. The alternative is that he doesn't then, right? Well, that's not great either. As soon as he gets back to his ship, one of the Berserkers says that he wants to kill Hiccup himself. Dagur has to make it clear that no one besides himself will go after Hiccup. This shows how the Berserkers really can be vengeful. They're not even an aggressive group (as shown in "Something Rotten on Berserker Island"), but they have tempers. So, if Dagur holds onto the friendship that he just realized didn't exist, he has to go back with his tail between his legs and admit not only that he was played, but that he doesn't want to do anything about it.

Dagur already was worried that no one would respect him as chief. They never would if they found out he was tricked and didn't even want to get revenge for it. He would be the young chief who was too foolish to see through lies and too weak to defend his people in case the liar decided to lie again and actually attack. So, yes, Dagur attacked. Was it a mistake? Oh most definitely. He could've caused the deaths of many people and was arrested for this. So, I'm not saying that Dagur is in the right for his war, but I'm saying that I don't think it's a black and white as the show tried to portray. We see it from Hiccup's perspective with Dagur being this wild kid who just likes killing. Dagur's so much more than just some angry or deranged Viking. I just wish we got to see more of his side of things.

A mother’s love

“So how exactly do we make this dragon not try to attack us?” Astrid asked as the other riders and dragons in the room except your dragon. For some strange reason your dragon didn’t like anyone except you and it didn’t like anyone near you. It might be a trust or a protective thing but it’s pretty unique, as even Toothless isn’t like that.

“I’m not sure. This dragon is quite interesting as they don’t even listen to Toothless despite him being the alpha. Y/n, do you have an idea of why it doesn’t like anyone getting near you or it?” Hiccup asked while the others looked at you for an answer.

“Well, I have a couple of ideas but I think this one is the most likely. When I was about five, I was abandoned in the woods, fortunately my dragon was there too. As you know, my dragon is older than me, old enough to be my parent and my dragon had eggs that got destroyed by hunters” You responded as the others connected the dots. They were sadden by your short story and the realization.

“So correct me if I’m wrong, your dragon sees you as their child after their eggs were crushed by hunters?” Valka asked. She personally related to your dragon due to her being taken away from Hiccup and Stock when Hiccup was a baby. She couldn’t imagine if Hiccup had died or been abandoned.

“Yes. So the protectiveness and dislike is due to motherly nature” You responded as you knew the bond between you and your dragon was deeper than most bonds between people and their dragons.

“So the dragon wants to see if we’re a threat or not? That’s pretty understandable due to how mother dragon’s are very protective of their little ones” Fishlegs said as Hiccup was deep in thought about how to get the protective dragon to not attack them.

Valka then seemed to have an idea. A mother always trusts another mother, no matter the species of the two. Valka then grabbed you hand and led you out of the meeting hall with the others following.

“Mom? What are you doing?” Hiccup asked as Snotlout mumbled something about how Valka should hold his hand.

“She’s a mother, she’ll listen to another mother” Valka responded calmly as she was still walking with her hand in yours.

Soon, you all made your way to your dragon. Your dragon was growling and was ready to attack to protect you. Valka was still holding your hand as she stopped in front of your dragon as the others stood behind her, just in case your dragon attacked.

Valka held out her hand as Hiccup did with Toothless when they first met. Valka and your dragon made eye contact and your dragon got closer while Valka didn’t move or let go of your hand.

Your dragon looked between you and Valka who still has her hand out. “Please, I know you’ve suffered. I have too.. A mother would do anything to protect her child, I know that as I would do the same for mine” Valka whispers to your dragon as your dragon widens her eyes when she finds out Valka is a mother like herself. Your dragon lets down her guard a little, it’s working and your dragon steps closer to Valka with a more peaceful look.

Your dragon looks right in Valka’s eyes as Valka does the same. Valka is seen in your dragon’s eyes as your dragon is seen in Valka’s eyes, then your dragon presses her forehead against Valka’s hand. The others looked relieved that it worked as the emotional moment was occurring between two mothers who had suffered a great deal.

It was touching, really.. Valka was right. A mother will trust another mother if it involves a child’s health, happiness, or safety.

I'll start with a warning there is going to be a chapter for the au going in detail of this exact scenario so if you want Absolutely no spoilers on how he would react defiantly skip reading this then.

Okay so it would definitely be do or die for him.

He hasn't seen his brother for OVER 20 YEARS and has presumed them to be dead for most of that time. That's the main reason he stopped seeking them out. There was also quite a few other reasons as well but that's all you need to know right now so deal with it.

So it would be the same reaction reguardless of which brother or how many of them were in immediate danger. They could be a mile away and he would be ripping through the forest to get to them in time.

Nothing stopping this man when he's on a mission.

You can imagine his flying out of noware and tackling what ever or whoever is threatening them. If this small that bitch is gone. He will yeet them into tomorow or just straight up snap it neck.

killing is a last resort though if they fuck off then he's not going to pursue them over staying near his brothers and making sure they're safe.

Like, a critter bigger than he is and wanting to attack him and his brothers...

Bigger critters are more hassle to him. It's not something he unfamiliar with when it comes to dealing with them. He just not used to having to protect them from something very dear to him, like his brothers.

If you've ever seen How to Train Your Dragon you can imagine him reacting similarly to Toothless when Hiccup was in danger.

Flying out of thin air and slamming into the critter or using his hair to wrap around a leg to throw it off balance if its charging at his family. If he doesn't think hell make it in time catch him whipping one of those exploding stars at it or just straight up his machete. Roaring at it to gain its attention and challenging it. Jumping just out of its snapping jaws well he leads it away from his brothers. Clawing and biting it when he gets the chance and then parkouring just far enough away to not get hurt. Even if he does get hurt though that wouldn't stop him till the critter is gone. If it wont leave he will lure it somewhere it will be trapped or ultimately start targeting vital points if the fight drags out to long or gets to dangerous. So yes he would kill it if he had to.

You can imagine his brothers would be very flabbergasted

I am sick and tired of people saying that Stoick was abusive and just a horrible person in general

It’s been like 12 years since the movie and y’all still can’t get over his reaction when he found out about Toothless. Shut up. Everyone killed dragons. Every character you know and love killed dragons. And guess what? Hiccup also wanted to kill dragons. It was literally all he wanted in life until Toothless. This is old news. It was literally the whole point of the movie. But some of y’all still don’t get it and it truly shocks me. If I was Hiccup I would’ve done it. You would’ve done it too. Not because we like killing stuff, or we’re violent with innocent creatures, or we’re heartless (all actual things I’ve seen stupid people say about Stoick) but because we would be protecting ourselves and others. The dragons attacked them. Killed them. Stole their food and livestock and burned down their homes. It wasn’t their fault, but they didn’t know that. We didn’t even know that for most of the movie. They killed dragons for protection.

Y’all didn’t even watch it, did you? You didn’t even watch the movie. Don’t lie. It’s obvious.

“B-but he abused Hiccup!” No he didn’t. No he freaking didn’t. He never hit him. He never manipulated him. He loved Hiccup more than life. He has proved on multiple occasions that he would die for him. He made mistakes, but guess what? If you were in charge of an entire village that is constantly being attacked by fire breathing dragons, you would make mistakes, too.

“He wouldn’t listen to Hiccup about the Red Death!” … Let me give you my interpretation of that scene

“Hey Dad I know you’re mad that I faked my victories in the ring, and about the dragon that I didn’t tell you about, and about going to the nest that you’ve been looking for your entire life that I also didn’t tell you about, but please don’t go to it because it actually has a dragon the size of a mountain and you will surely be killed. You don’t have to see it tho. Just trust.”

Tell me honestly, would you believe that for a second? No. No you wouldn’t. In fact the only reason I believed it was because I saw it. Stoick didn’t. You know what he was thinking? He was thinking that that was just another lie for the pile. Not to mention all the other lies about taking down dragons that Hiccup very strongly implied that he told (“it’s not like the other times, Dad, I really actually hit it” Sure you did, kid)

And of course, the face Stoick made after the fight.

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE THE FACE OF AN ABUSER??? DOES THIS LOOK LIKE SOMEONE WHO IS PROUD THAT HE JUST DISOWNED HIS SON??? DOES IT???

Yes, he disowned his son. You know what he also could have done? Killed him. He could’ve killed Hiccup right then and there and no one would’ve been shocked. The second Toothless entered that ring Hiccup was a traitor, a menace, a madman, a danger to that entire island. They probably expected Stoick to kill him. If the dragons were really how they thought they were, it would’ve actually been the right thing to do. By doing that he thought he was saving his son’s life.

Yes he yelled at him. He yelled at him for siding with the thing that was just seconds away from killing everyone in and around that arena. My dad once yelled at me for getting out of the car after he just told me to get out of the car. Get over yourselves.

When he saw Hiccup and the other on dragons, he was not angry. He was amazed. In fact I believe this to be the moment that he fully realized that Hiccup was right about everything. And what did he do right after this? He saved him. Not only Hiccup, but also the dragon he hated most in the world just minutes earlier. Because he’s anything but a coward and he can admit when he was wrong.

Hiccup stares at Dagur, heart beat loud inside his ears. Dagur is here! Here on dragon island while they are trying to do a sneaking mission!! Dagur had just excitedly recounted their last encounter, recounting Hiccup ‘fighting’ the night fury. Which… yeah…

But now Dagur is pointing his sword at Hiccup and Hiccup feels conflict bubbling up within. He had not agreed with his father’s choice to hide the dragons from the Berserkers. And while he is still a bit afraid of Dagur from their time as children-

“So ... what are you doing here?”

Dagur’s words intteruopt his thoughts and Hiccup stutters mentally while stepping back from the sword, fingers flexing on his shield.

“What am I doing here?

Dagur takes another step forward, face starting to shift, but to what? It is a little hard to tell in the dark.

“Don’t answer that! I know EXACTLY what you’re doing here.”

Hiccup feels a flash of guilt and worry. If Dagur found out they had lied he would go to war. But how could he not eventually find out?? They were at war with Alvin using dragons! And any traders that came to their island saw the dragons. Maybe…maybe this is a chance to do something. Something Stoick would not approve of.

“Uh, you-you do?”

He stutters.

“Oh yeah, I do. You’re here for the same reason I am, Hiccup. You’re here ... to hunt dragons!”

Hiccup flinches back and takes several steps backwards. Oh. Oh no no no. Dagur is hunting dragons on dragon island while they are trying to do a sneaking mission on said island while their dragons were hidden on the other side.

“Thats… Uh.. Actually no.” Hiccup is going to make a choice, to reveal an inevitable truth, because while only the heir of Berk, he knows that his loyalty is to dragons first. “You see Alvin's decided that he hates my tribe existing and he might train dragons or just send plain old wild dragons against us, so me and my ... Friends are here trying to successful pull of a fake sneakingt mission on this island without our dragons.”

Dagur starts nodding along.

“Oh fake missions are a great pra- hold up, "our dragons"?”

Dagur looks a little wild in his eyes that are full of offense. Hiccup sighs and sits down on the log and pokes the fire with a nearby stick. He stares at it instead of his probable doom.

“Mmhmm. Alvin attacked us and our dragons were the only thing that got us out. And I figured he'd spread the word, so I'm not gonna do like my dad asked and lie to you. We have dragons. That fight you saw was staged to save the twins’ Zippleback.”

Dagur sits down heavily. He clenches his hands tightly.

“Your dad?”

He asks.

“Mmhmm. It wasnt my plan. If it was up to me Id never send Toothless away. But Dad keeps making me and honestly… Im so tired of not being allowed my best friend at my side.”

“Toothless?”

Dagur just sounds dazed. Better than pissed.

“The Night Fury. Would you like to meet him? Knowing him, hes probably worried enough to start looking for me after Tuff stoped paying attention.”

“I could meet a Night Fury?!!”

Dagur sounds genuinely exited and maybe Hiccup can win him over.

“Yes. But you have to promise not to hurt him.”

Dagur takes a second and then puts down his sword.

“Fine. Yes. Let me meet the Night Fury!!”

Hiccup nods and then tilts his head back and lets forth a roar he had learned from Toothless. Dagur starles and burst into laughter.

“I had no idea you could make that noise!”

Hiccup flushes and rubs his neck. Dagur still makes him a little afraid, but he feels safer knowing his best friend is on the way.

“I practiced a lot with Toothless.”

Hiccup replies.

“What sort of name is Toothless anyways?”

Hiccup is about to answer when Toothless leaps from the shadows, over the fire, and tackles Hiccup off the log, licking his hair vigorously before turning to growl at Dagur. Hiccup stands up and gently rubs his friends head.

“Hey, hey, its okay bud. Hes… a potential ally. We really dont want a double war. So lets just say hi.”

He croons to Toothless who sniffs the air and then huffs in a way that Hiccup knows that Toothless is going along with this because Hiccup is the one asking.

Dagur is staring.

“He understands you?”

“Mostly, a lot of it is guessing and being around each other all the time. Here, give me your hand.”

Dagur does and Hiccup brings Dagur’s hand to Toothless’s snout. The hand is shaking ever so slightly underneath Hiccup’s. Hiccup gently guides it into a smooth petting motion and Toothless purrs. Dagur lets out a half laugh that might be nerves or derangedness. Hiccup decides to go a step further.

“I could probably convince him to let you ride with me… but only if you promise me something.”

Dagurs head jerks sharply to look at him, but Hiccup feels steady with toothless right here at his side.

“What?”

It is a whisper, softer than Hiccup thought possible from the older teen.

“My… I don't think a war on two fronts is Berks best interest. I know my father lied. I don't think it was the right choice. And I'm hoping, that as his heir, my truthfulness can repair this broken trust. So if… if you want a ride you must agree not to go to war and kill my people or my dragons.”

Dagur blinks and stares him in the eyes. They stand in silence for a moment, breathing slow and measured.

“I think I can agree to that. As allies, we shouldn't be going to war. But I want to redo that treaty! We never signed it properly with all the lieing and messing around.”

Dagur says and Hiccup deflates in relief.

“Okay, yeah, I think I can get Stoick to-”

“Nonono. I don't want a treaty with that old fart. I want it with you.”

Dagur taps Hiccup's chest. Hiccup flushes.

“But I'm not incharge of Berk?”

“Your incharge of dragons. Much cooler. And more powerful to be honest.”

Dagur says with a broad grin. Hiccup sighs.

“Dad won't love that.”

“I can get rid of him if you'd like!”

The offer is genuine and Hiccup quickly shakes his head.

“I'm not ready to be chief and my dad really doesn't deserve to die.”

“Just give me the word.”

Dagur shrugs. Hiccup shakes his head and slips onto Toothless’ saddle.

“Right. Uh, thanks. Now, that ride?”

He offers his hand and Dagur hesitates for a moment before climbing on behind him.

“You're going to want to hold on.”

He warns and is surprised that Dagur's grip is gentle on his waist.

“Ready.”

Dagur says and Hiccup hums.

“Alright bud. Let's go!”

And then they launch straight up into the dark sky. The grip shifts to a hug from behind as they climb higher. Toothless lets out a happy roar and Hiccup cannot help but roar along. They spiral upwards and then Hiccup croons and they are diving quick and fast to the inky black waves that are silvery where the moon touches. They glide quickly across the crests of the waves, stirring up a fine mist. Dagur whoops and lets out a Berserker cry.

They climb again and then they fall backwards flipping head over tail. Hiccup is laughing from adrenaline and Dagur laughs too. Toothless warbles and straightens into a dive and shoots a plasma blast. They burst through the plasma heated air and crash into the water before rising back into the air. Water makes the fast winds colder but neither boy cares truly.

They then rise high and float among the moonbeams as Dragon Island rests far below.

“Amazing.”

Dagur whispers in awe.

“He is, isn't he?”

Hiccup croons and scratches Toothless.

“Yeah. And you too. I saw that pedal action. That seals it. I'd like you to teach me to tame dragons.”

“... Let's get the treaty issue all sorted and then maybe.”

“I'm going to make it part of the treaty. You're so amazing.”

The grip around his chest tightens for a moment and then Dagur speaks again.

“Think we can do a few more dives? We should avoid the northern shore though. That's where part of the armada is.”

Hiccup blinks for a second and then puffs his cheeks. Of course the armada is here. Dagur is a chief after all.

“Sure. Toothless and I love trick flying. Honestly, sometimes I wish I had less responsibility to the tribe so I could do it more.”

“I know the feeling.”

Dagur whispers. Hiccup feels a flash of sympathy. It must be rough. Eighteen and having everyone look to you as a leader to guide them through. When all Dagur seemed to want to do was have fun and fight. Dagur was not ready for chiefdom. He reaches down and pats the arm encircling his chest.

“Well, let's just forget responsibility for now. Okay?”

“Sounds good Hiccup.”

And then they dive.

Sometimes it feels like HTTYD 3 forgot that Meatlug was Fishmeat’s mother.

For one thing, when Toothless forces all the dragons to go with Grimmel and it cuts back to the Berkians, Fishmeat is just panting like a braindead puppy in Fishleg’s pouch completely oblivious to the fact that his MOTHER just left him. Can you imagine how emotional it would’ve been if that scene took a second to focus on Meatlug leaving and Fishmeat crying and reaching out of his pouch to try and stop his mother from leaving?

Also as adorable as his friendship with the Crimeon Goregutter is, it rubs me the wrong way that when Fishmeat is threatened by one of Grimmel’s men during the rescue mission it’s the Crimson Goregutter that saves him and not his own MOTHER (like yeah I get the humor behind that scene, it’s funny seeing it escalate from threatening a helpless baby dragon to being attacked by an absolute giant of a dragon but it still rubs me the wrong way).

Speaking of Meatlug having no emotional connections with anyone in that movie, it’s so heartbreaking that throughout the series Meatlug and Fishlegs had such a close and loving relationship yet once all the dragons leave Betk forever at the end of the third one, she just gestures her head towards Fishlegs to hand her Fishmeat then flies away. No last hug, no tearful goodbye, no devastating parting words, she just asks for her baby and leaves her best friend. Her face wasn’t even sad when she did it. God I hate this movie.

Omg I never really noticed or thought about Fishmeat in that scene but you're right. Fishmeat like a minute after his mother and all the other dragons left him:

Like??? Definitely prefer your idea for that scene!

And yes the way Meatlug acts in the separation scene is fucking awful. How she doesn't look sad, but happy and like she doesn't have a care in the world as Fishlegs takes off her saddle.....how when the dragons start to fly off she just turns towards Fishlegs with her mouth open, emotionless, just waiting for him to drop Fishmeat in so she can leave already.....that isn't Meatlug. She wouldn't do that. This film sucks.

(Also about the Crimson Goregutter saving Fishmeat instead of Meatlug thing- it never really bothered me/doesn't really bother me but I definitely see where you're coming from.)

It was a normal day when they arrived. Well, normal for you at least.

You were standing in the common room, half living room, half kitchen. It was early in the day, not long after 1pm, so like any normal adult, you went to make yourself some cereal. This is breakfast for you.

You dont have a mission today, so you obviously slept in.Saying that, you were hopeing for a nice, relaxed day, however your wish was not granted. Your peace is beeing disturbed. Not only with their arrival, but also with a lot of Avangers here to welcome the now additions. Most were at least quiet, but Tony and Steve bickering and bitching like little kids is something else. You also know that with Sam beeing here, you will have to hide your snacks. That guy is always hungry. And Scott can be just as bad, him beeing able to shrink to ant size really makes it difficult to hide stuff from him.

As you reach the cupbord, after climbing onto the counter to reach it, they arrive.

Not quietly of course, no, it was with a loud boom of thunder, almost makeing you fall.

You guessed it, the beloved god of thunger and his infamous brother, the god of mischief, here to join earths mightiest heros. You knew Thor ever since you got here yourself, you are good friends. He could be a bit dull sometimes and very oblivious to, well, about pretty much eveything, but he really is just a giant teddy bear.

You never had the pleasure to meet his brother Loki however. Now, you say pleasure, you havent exactly heard good things. Given that the Avangers are your family and he mind controlled Clint, threw Tony out the highest point of the tower and attacked with an army of freak aliens,... To say you arent that fond of him would be the nicest way of putting it.

There was a whole briefing going on to be prepared for their arrival. Lokis arrival. A few members, such as you, have not been part of the team when he attacked earth, that was the reason for the briefing. So everybody got a list of his abilities and such, something that looks like a wanted poster.

Teleportation, Shapeshifting, forming Energy blasts, casting illusions.

Able to read minds and project his thoughts to others, no physical touch needed.

Skilled in magic (seiðr), skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Genius level intellect.

Heritage: Jotunn.

You have memorized the list of his powers, it worried you. Not only that, no, his whole person worries you, god of mischief and lies, a frost giant. You would be toothless against him. Your weapons would have no effect on him, normal daggers wont pierce his skin. Bullets only leaving bruises. So even your trusted Kunai would fail you. Yes, it worries you.

What also worries you is that his is so damn good looking.

While Thor did assure that "Loki is a changed spirit. He no longer wishes to bring suffering to midgard.", nobody was fully convinced. But you promised Thor to give him a chance; for him. You know he loves his brother, even though they dont really express it too much in the crazy relationship they have.

So now you stand here, in your PJ's, pink fluffy socks and hair up in a very messy bun. So much for first impressions.

The others swarmed around Thor, who was booming with delight to see his friends again, hugging his old pals way too tightly. They look like those anti stress balls with eyes that pop out in his giant arms.

Loki on the other hand stood two steps behind his brother, seeming pretty annoyed by the whole ordeal. It appears he isnt one for big gatherings either.

You get away from the cabinet and lean onto the kitchen island, listening to the things Thor has to say. He ends up talking about new Asgard, which is where they came from right now.

After they successfully stopped Thanos, they went to new Asgard, help build the new kingdom further. Everybody thought Thor would, naturally, become king of new Asgard, with both Odin and Frigga dead. But he renounced his claim to the throne, leaving Valkyrie and Heimdall to be voted as the rulers of new Asgard since Loki was voted out by the people.

"Why dont you take that throne already? Oh blondie...", Tony claps him on the shoulder, shakeing his head. "I do not wish to rule, I only wish to build a peaceful future. Possibly with a family of my own." "Let me guess...", Tonys lips thin in a upside down smile. Several people, in unison, answer for him, "With Jane.". Thor nods solemnly and proceeds to tell the others about going to meet Jane later, seeing if they could be able to reconcile.

Poor guy still loves her.

It is the same old story; any time you two really have a chat, you end up at the talk of how much he misses her. You do feel bad, but youve heard it so many times by now. At some point you lost interest and went back to retreiving your cereal, only to realize somebody put the empty box back into the cupbord.

This really took the cake; your day officially ruined. You snatched the empty box and stormed to your roommates and teammates, doubting it was your roommates Nat and Bruce.

"Ok, which assh-" "LANGUAGE!", Steve heckles. You shoot him a fuming, warning, look and continue, "WHO ate all the cereal and put the empty box back?!", you look through the small crowd of people.

Nobody speaks.

Peter looks terrified, but you know he wouldnt, hes just a little timid. Then you spot it, the slight panic in Tonys eyes. You point at him, "You! I see the panic in your eyes, you did it!", you stride towards him. As you do, your bun loosens and plaps down the side, Tony smirks and reaches for your hair. You snap your head towards him, "Do you want to lose a hand today?" He hurriedly pulls back, "Ok ok I did it. I was hungry ok? I'll buy you some later.". You pout, "So am I! This is my day off and all I wanted was a relaxing day and now I cant even have my breakfast!".

"Its after 1 Y/n.", Nat says matter of factly. "What didnt you understand when I said 'day off' and 'relaxing day'?"

Clint looks at you dead serious, "No thats actually the perfect day off. I'm with you on that one." "You also love hanging out in your jammies and pink fluffy socks with your hair in a bun, stuffing your face with snacks all day?", you ask him in play seriousness. He nods, "Yes of course, normally I do paint my nails and put on a nice face mask too.", he plays along. "I always make myself a nice salad and go shopping.", Scott joins in with a nasal tone.

You three break character at that point and fall into laughter. Nat just shakes her head with a grin. Its a real talent of them, they always lighten the mood.

Your stomach growls, "I'm so hungryyy.", you whine. "Cant you just eat something other than cereal?", Sam asks. You think, "I mean, I do have some leftover food in the fridge and some cooki- Why are you looking at me like that?". Sam's jaw flexed when you mentioned the cookies and Bruce looked away when you said leftovers. "Oh come on! When did you even eat my cookies? I saw you come in, thinking 'oh, Sam is here I need to hide my snacks'.", you pout again, but now you are actually a little sad, feeling betrayed. "When you put your hair up. I'm sorry ok? I didnt know it was your day off and you wanted to relax.", he says a little guilty.

"And I didnt know it was your left over food. I'm really sorry.", Bruce says. Oh man, you cant be mad at Bruce, he probably worked late again and forgot to eat until he almost passed out. It has happened before, Tony found him. Ever since that day Jarvis is able to tell the heart rate and general well beeing of people inside the tower.

You sigh, "Its ok guys, just... ask in the future ok? I just remembered, I should have some waffles- oh god please no...", you see Scotts smile drop and know exactly what that means. "I thought they were Tonys, I'm sorry.", he exclaims. "Hey! I'd be very careful Tumbelina. If I held a grudge, I could, litrally, smash you like a bug.", Tony looks at him through hooded eyes.

You sigh and awkwardly sway on the balls of your feet, "I'M HUNGRYYYYY!". That got everybodys attention, all eyes are now on you and you blush a little.

You arent just hungry, no, you are hangry. A dangerous state for an assasin to be in.

"Ok. Lets just settle this. Pizza on Tony?", Steve looks at Tony. He rolls his eyes but nods. Just as you happily turn away you realize how rude you actually are.

"Oh and-", you walked to Thor, giving him a big hug which he happily returns, "Welcome back thunder.". "Y/n, havent lost your wit I see.", he says with a chuckle as you pull apart. "No, I havent. You got to with these scatterbains.", you chuckle too. You hear several offended noises in the room which only seals your words.

You turn around to Loki who still looks pretty detached, but also so unfairly handsome. "Havent had the fortune of meeting you up to now. Y/n, alias Medusa.", you put out a hand to shake, looking into his eyes.

His eyes remind you of dense treetops; a dense green through which the bright blue sky shimmers. He looks at you for a second before stepping closer, giving your hand a firm squeeze, "Loki, god of mischief. I am certain you have heard only the very best of me.", he smirks.

He smells of leather, mint and winter. Like fresh snow. Devine. You bite your tongue to distract yourself.

"Yes, precisely. Like throwing Tony off the rooftop.", you smirk back. "Alright, thats it! Go order that Pizza before I change my mind!", Tony interrupts with an offended hand at his hip. "Lets order together then.", you suggest, squeezing onto the couch next to Peter. You like the kid, you are only 4 years older than him, so you get along quite well.

After 20 minutes you finally ordered all 11 Pizzas. Took Thor a bit to convice Loki to give it a try, saying 'it tastes like Valhalla in a box'. And you agree with that analogy wholeheartedly.

You took Peter with you to collect them from the lobby and going straight back to the common room. You didnt even have time to announce the feast before Sam and Thor snatched the boxes out of Peters and your arms. Its a mistery how they didnt scatch up your exposed skin. "You guys act like you havent been fed in weeks!" "I have not eaten in five hours! I am practially starving. It takes substance to maintain this physique!", Thor tries to reason. Loki rolls his eyes, one of the first emotions you saw on his face up to now. "So you have a reason for nearly takeing my arm, but that one just stole and ate my cookies!", you point to Sam who is already opening every box to find his Pizza. Hearing you he just shrugs and continues looking.

You sit down again, next to Peter who sat back in the same spot he just left. After a few moments everybody is seated and has their Pizza.

To Thors joy, Loki enjoys the food he was praising to him. Not openly of course, but he couldnt keep the corner of his mouth from twitching up. Everybody knows, no complaint is praise enough.

"So, where will you guys live?", Steve asks to break the silence. Loki just looks at Thor, who swallows audibly at the question, "Well, we would need to look for a place to stay except- You know, if we could take residency in your noble castle Stark.". You stop eating, giving this your undevided attention. "I mean sure, theres enough space. Just dont call the Hammer through the walls; better yet, dont break stuff at all. And behave!", he looks directly to Loki at the last part. He raises his hands in mock surrender, "I wouldnt dare.". "Dont worry Stark, I wont let the goat mistreat your benevolence. Thank you for your kindness to not leave us without shelter.", the blonde god bows with a teethy smile.

Your eyes wander to Loki who is seated on a hassock, jaw clenched at the nickname Thor just called him. Mighty lord above, that jaw- You swear something inside you just ignited. And those thighs, wait. Why the hell are you staring at his thighs? Why must that armour of his be so tight in those places? I bet he purposefully got them made like that. God get a grip woman! You pinch yourself and peel your eyes away from that sinful eye candy which now even lives here. Ugh, thats gonna be a challenge.

"I know, I'm such a self less guy, right?", Tony says, shoving a piece of pizza in his mouth. You scoff at him, and even Bruce raises an eyebrow at him.

Which reminds you of bounderies that have yet to be set. "No takeing my stuff and no going in my room without permission!", you raise a pointer finger, pointing between both of them. "Of course lady Y/n.", Thor assures you, to which you narrow your gaze. As long as there is enough pop tarts your food should be safe from Thor, but Loki?

You will have to see what happens.

That dude can teleport, shapeshift, he could go into your room without you even knowing. The thought makes you tingly, NO! Get your mind out of your panties Y/n! Hell, he could probably even shift to look like Nat! You nearly spirall down the lane of paranoia but you shrug it off. You panicking would only encurage him.

"If there are two more residents now, we really have to start writing down groceries. This cant keep on happeing, or somebody's gonna get shanked." Tony looks at you annoyed, "Just tell Jar what to get. It will show up in the app. As I've told all of you at least ten times.". "Hey! Dont get pissy with me! At least I try to make a homemade meal every now and then, everybody else just orders food! No wonder Fury orders annual fitness exams!", you lay an offende hand on your chest. "Just tell him in the future!", Tony rolls his eyes.

"Fitness exams? Well, that is new.", Thor laughs. "Oh yea, these [you point at Tony, Sam, Scott and Clint] have got cought one night, throwing something which can only be described as a grease feast.", you tell the god who hadnt been here for a few months. The culprets avert their gaze, clint starts whistling and Scott clears his throat. "That sounds revolting and yet I want to be part of a feast like that.", Thor mutters, makeing you face palm yourself and Sam clap his shoulder with a nod. "Well, you will have to do it secretly, Fury is onto all of us. Which reminds me, we have to burn the evidence of this right here or he'll make us do burpees again.", the memory makes you shudder.

"Oh come on, a bit of exercise would be really good for all of us.", Steve says sternly, earning several annoyed grunts. "A bit of exercise?! Have you forgotten what Fury did last time?", Tony says in a higher than usual voice. "It wasnt that bad-", Steve tries to continue but several people cut him off. "NOT THAT BAD?!"

"Thats easy coming from the super soldier!", Nat speaks up. Yes, even she struggled during the Burpee incident. "I had to wear my suit to even go to the bathroom! Do you know how much Pepper mocked me?!", Tony bores his fingers into Caps chest, furious from the reminder of those days.

"Three days I couldnt move! And the following week was hell on earth, every movement hurt! Even the hulk was out of it!", Bruce whines. You swear you heard Loki snicker and whisper "Server you right.". Brucy was in so much pain, the hulk broke out, but even he couldnt move. It was a pathetic sight, the unbeatable hulk starfishing in the hallway, whiped out by some burpees. If Loki knew, he probably wouldnt stop laughing, given his and the hulks history.

"I couldnt lift my arm to press the elevator buttons! I CRAWLED to my room, THATS how bad it was!", you damn near cry at the memory.

"You are all just out of shape!", Steve shakes his head. "Shut up!", Nat throws a magazine at him but he, of course, catches it.

"I'm so glad to not be an official member yet. I think I would have died that day, I'm not even kidding.", Peter says small. "Lucky.", you mumble.

There is a few moments of solemn silence, until Thor says, "So when are we doing the next grease feast?", earning himself a room full of offended glares.

Yandere Toothless or a male night fury with a (female maybe please ) sand wraith Darling (Romantic hc/concept) pretty please with a cherry on top

The idea of more Night Fury hybrids intrigues me.

Sand Wraiths, according to the wiki, were originally meant to be part of the Fury species.

So technically... they are a Sand Fury.

As I result I do think these two species could be compatible.

In this concept, instead of Toothless meeting a Female Light Fury for a mate, he meets a Female Sand Wraith.

Sand Wraiths are quite elusive, only being found in sandy areas and often hide under the sand to hunt.

Finding you was by accident, Hiccup had taken Toothless out for another dragon expedition with the rest of the Dragon Riders.

Expecting food you had leapt out of the sand, attacking the riders.

After a brief fight you are eventually subdued and the riders are able to get a good look at you.

Toothless even has an interest in you, nudging you with his head as you watch him cautiously.

Hiccup and the riders soon learn you're not only a Sand Wraith... but a female of your species.

They were going to leave you alone but were surprised when you followed them back to Dragon's Edge.

You feel with the humans you are promised food.

As a result you act as look out, the riders giving you a sand pit to hide and rest in when not on duty.

Plus you're even fed by them... isn't that nice?

Well, it is... until you notice the domesticated Night Fury they have showing more and more interest into you.

Your species are close enough to breed... so you understand his courting dances...

But you aren't sure if you want to accept?

You watch Toothless curiously in your sand pit when he approaches.

For the most part he knows to stay out of your sand, often wandering up to your hiding body and throwing fish into the sand for you to eat.

The Night Fury is very curious and interested in you.

Hiccup's surprised when he starts to see mating behavior from Toothless.

The Night Fury is insistent in dancing, feeding, and protecting you.

Meanwhile you stare at him from your pit softly.

Hiccup finds it hard to control Toothless when all the dragon wants to do is follow you.

You wander and fly around Dragon's Edge by yourself, only for Toothless to swoop in to accompany you.

Toothless would be very clingy towards his "mate".

You may not have completely accepted him as your mate, but he's persistent.

He expresses typical possessive behavior towards you... snarling at other dragons to take claim to you.

Hiccup tries to make Toothless more focused on tasks... but all the dragon wants to do is watch and follow you.

There's something wrong the moment Toothless begins to show uncharacteristically violent behavior.

Hiccup feels the only way to fix this is to encourage... breeding between you and the Night Fury.

This could be the best way to calm his distracted Night Fury friend... but the question is...

Are you up to it?

Hiccup may try to invoke breeding behavior between you two.

After all... that's why Toothless is acting weird, right?

So yes, Hiccup enables Toothless.

Surely a quick session will fix things...

Hopefully one clutch of your eggs with soothe his draconic friend.

We Go Where No One Goes - One Piece HTTYD AU (What Dragons would some OP  characters have)

A/N: First thing I have written on tumblr. I’m really addicted to How To Train Your Dragon right now so I thought I’d do headcanons on what dragons I think some characters would bond with/have.  I might make an x reader series of this au as well. I’ll do more characters at a later date!! Also I don’t know how to work things exactly but this is my best shot hopefully it works. I’d love some feedback about this as I am very interested in turning this into a series of sorts or even multiple. Hope you all like it!!

Content Warning: Can be read as an x reader in some parts (as I use the word you in some places) though gender is not specified!! Can also be read as platonic or romantic in those parts, whatever you see fit. SFW!! Fluff. Dragons!! How To Train Your Dragon AU. Mentions of fighting as well as dragon attacks. There probably will be grammar and spelling errors here. Some characters may be a bit OOC. I think that’s all but tell me if there’s anything I should add.

Characters: Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nico Robin, Eustass Kid, Killer, Trafalgar D. Law (All seperate).

Monkey D. Luffy

- A Nightfury. That’s it. He’ll have a nightfury.

- Now we’ll see something COMPLETELY different from hiccup’s and toothless’ relationship simply because... you have double the trouble now.

- I can see Luffy and his Nightfury getting into trouble every day like they are partners in CRIME, two peas in a pod... honestly one would think they share the same brain AND the same stomach because both of them will eat a shit ton of food (fish for the nightfury).

- No sharing though. Luffy refuses to share his food with his dragon best friend (He tries to steal his nightfury’s food but everyone has to stop him as they dont want him to get sick from eating raw fish).

- Honestly count them to be dirty by the time they get home in mud and such.

- They also go out flying and adventuring together almost every day!! Discovering new places, meeting new people!! Everyone else going with him just to make sure he doesn’t get captured by dragon hunters.

- Though when it comes to battle, there is a chance you’ll see a more serious side of him and his dragon, especially if someone he cares about has been captured or hurt in some way shape or form!!

- Sure it may be a bit fun in games at the start but as the fight goes on they both get more serious.

- He makes sure everyone gets out alive, no one gets left behind on his watch, even if he and his dragon have to fight every single person on an island and/or ship.

- Yeah the bad guys are not winning in the end if he shows up, especially if he brought the gang with him!!

- Then there’s a party right after with them and their dragons as well!!

- Oh did I mention he’s the chief of his island...?

- Yeah who made him chief... (It was shanks.)

- The villagers question it every day... but they have no say in it now...

- But look on the bright side!! There will never be a boring day in the village since Luffy is chief!!

- He also tends to neglect his duties...

- Well, they get done somehow!!

- Just make sure you stay prepared.

Roronoa Zoro

- Triple Stryke. Yes, he has a triple stryke.

- A dragon that uses three tales to slash and take down it’s enemies screams zoro to me. They litterally train together with zoro’s three sword style and the dragon using it’s tail.

- They take naps together. Though don’t wake them as his dragon will try and snap at you... 

- Without his dragon, Zoro would get lost a lot more then he already does.

- His dragon is litterally Zoro’s guide at times and will drag him with it’s tails when Zoro is going the wrong way.

- Zoro uses his dragon as a pillow as well, sometimes doesn’t even sleep on a bed bc it’s so comfy and warm.

- His dragon and Luffy’s dragon often play together and have fun together.

- Is the one to get seperated from his dragon the most though.

- Might be seen to be a bit cold to his dragon but if you look closely you can see him giving it small pets or even some of his food.

- Tries to keep the affection in private or when no one isn’t looking, though he does fail at times and gets teased for it.

- He also is probably the one who runs the blacksmiths and helps makes the weapons, saddles and other things the village may need.

- Somehow he gets it done in time even with some (many) naps inbetween.

- Honestly you get the best made stuff in the village.

- They often see people from other villages as well just to get their hands on what he makes.

- I feel like he’d be one of the most serious in battle.

- Litterally fights back to back with his dragon, both covering eachother’s blindspots.

- It can be hard to land a hit when Zoro and his dragon are fighting together.

- 2nd guy you do not wanna face.

Nico Robin

- She would have a Boneknapper. - Since Robin is an archeologist and a Boneknapper is basically living history since it is covered in bones I feel like they’d make a perfect fit. Also who knows what kinds of bones that the Boneknapper has on it!! Could be anything!! I can see Robin studying the bones and see where they originate from such as from a dragon, human, animal or something else entirely!! - Robin probably has an area outside of her house where the dragon has stored all kinds of random objects, some aren’t even bones and are just random things that interested it!!! - Robin has like 1000000000000000000000000+ complaints from the villagers because her dragon keeps taking their stuff(it even took someone’s roof one time... that was an entire ordeal....). - Always ends up scolding her dragon but... it never learns and proceeds to continue to steal. At this point Robin has considered her life options when it comes to her boneknapper. - Well great news is that she has found many discoveries from the bones on her dragon’s body which has advanced their knowledge in dragons and humans a like!! - Not the most comfortable dragon to ride on but Robin made it work (Somehow). With the help of Zoro she had constructed the perfect sadle for her dragon! - It can be a bit difficult to fight with her boneknapper as it will often try to add whatever it sees onto itself if. Sometimes it’ll try to take a person with it (remember how stormfly acted with that one guy from httyd 2?? Eric the son of Eric?? I see it as that.) But it works as a great decoy to get everyone distracted and busy!! It is also great at destroying things with it’s tail. - Also most people run away when they see it as they’re terrified of it when in reality it is just a big giant puppy especially when it plays human fetch!! - I see Robin as the person who documents and keeps the village history as well as any other history she finds out. She writes it down and stores it so those in the future can read it!! - She has written many books and you bet she’ll let anyone read it!! - Her books are very accurate, you can trust her writing 100% as she makes sure to tell no lies. 

Eustass Kid

- He would have a monsterous nightmare. I am partnering him up with a dragon that can set itself on fire as it matches his personality.

- Kid would just be walking around the village and his dragon would be following him, menacingly staring and sometimes even growling at the other villagers. It has a bit of an attitude problem.

- When Kid yells at someone, his dragon will yell with with him or it will laugh/chuckle at the person being yelled at.

- His dragon will sometimes mess something up and then blame someone else just to get another person in trouble.

- Kid will have his dragon with him as he works on different inventions of his as well as making things for himself and even for the village. His dragon is great for lighting up the fires so he can heat up the metal!! And acts as a heater when it is cold outside.

- He has no problem fighting anyone who threatens his village, friends, his dragon or anyone else that might need protecting. Though he might begrudgedly help a stranger out but he always says it’s because “I did it since it benifets me.” when in reality he couldn’t stand to see another person and their dragon get captured.

- Is a very strong fighter, always setting hunter’s boats and other enemy villages ablaze alongside his dragon. He has won around 89% of the battles he has faced. The other 11%? We’ll go into that later. Though let’s say he was extra mad/grumpy/tense right after those losses which resulted in him yelling even more or just staying inside his workshop at the forgery.

- He has two jobs!! He’s both the chief and the blacksmith!! According to his words he takes on being the blacksmith as well because “No one else is talented enough to make the gear the village needs” when in reality it is because he really wants to make things and it gives him the chance of creating his own inventions!!

- He and Zoro are competing to be the better blacksmith.

- He already believes he’s the best chief around.

- He also recieves a lot of requests for things to be made even from people from other villages.

- He’s a busy man.

Killer

- He would have a Changewing as his dragon. Changewings like to hide by camouflauging themselves, and with how Killer keeps a mask on it is as if they are both hiding in some way. Also I feel like they would get along very well.

- Changewings can be quite territorial so I can see it not liking it when other’s enters the home it lives with Killer in, so it either has to be outside or Killer has to keep it calm. Though it doesn’t mind Kidd coming over, it quite likes kid. You could see it even seek pets from kid which would in turn make Kid’s dragon a bit jealous.

- Changewings can also be a bit mischevious and Killer’s will play pranks on it’s rider. You will litterally see it poke Killer and then camouflage itself as Killer looks around to see who poked him. Though one time it camouflaged and stayed silent for a while. Killer thought it ran away or something and spent the whole day running around the island, panicked, looking for it when it was just resting at home. Let’s just say it got a big scolding when Killer got home (and a punishment of not having it’s favorite fish for a while). It never did it again.

- It will also mess with the other villagers.

-  1000000000000000000000000+ complaints part 2, but you might as well double it as he gets complaints about two things. One. His dragon scares the kids at night (as well as the scardy cats of the village) causing them to scream and wake up the village. It also randomly knocks things over, destroys things, pokes people while camouflage so it isn’t seen making people think they’re seeing things or there actually is a ghost haunting the village. Though at this point they know the culprit. 2. It loves taking things, it’s a curious creature!! It will take anything that raises it’s interest!! Even if it is a human being!! It once took someone’s child and tried to act like it’s parents... it took 5 hours to get the dragon seperated from the child and another 5 to calm down the angry parents...

- Killer questions how the village hasn’t tried to kick his dragon out yet...

- Though on the bright side they make a good fighting pair!! While Killer is focusing on beating hunters or other enemies up with his punishers, his dragon is camouflaging and taking out the enemies as well! There has been quite a few times where Killer’s dragon has saved his life as well.

- Though bewhare... it might try to hypnotize you. It has done so on many enemies in order to defeat them, as well as some villagers in order to mess with them. It’s hypnotizing is very powerful as well, though it rarely uses the ability.

- Also beware of it’s acid, it can melt almost anything. Though it can’t melt normal metal but it can melt dragon proof metal!! 

- They trust each other and know how to fight!! Sometimes they get seperated but they both find their way back to each other.

- Oh! Killer works as Kid’s second in command!! He helps Kid out with some of the workload he gets so Kidd can have some free time to work on his gadgets and such.

- He has fun working as Kid’s second-in-command as he couldn’t wish for anything more after growing up as Kid’s best friend.

Trafalgar D. Law

- He would have a Tide Glider. While it is only seen in the games, I feel as if it fits Law the best. This is due to the fact it is known to be calm as well as peaceful and has healing capabilities!!

- Due to being a Doctor, having a dragon that is able to heal others is a lifesafer. Think of how many lives he could save with a dragon that can heal wounds with its saliva?? That is why he bonded with the Tide Glider. 

- He lives a peaceful life with his dragon, as his dragon is also a giant sweetheart and you’ll see it push him to take care of himself. Sometimes it’ll lay on top of him just to make him go to sleep when it deams it time.

- His dragon acts like a mother toward’s him at times, it just wants to make sure he’s okay.

- His dragon gets into no trouble at all, it just follows Law wherever he goes and helps him with whatever duties he has with that day.

- He always ends up giving his dragon presents and such, he doesn’t show it but he really adores his buddy.

- Will pet his dragon often every day, mostly while he is at home.

- They have a very sweet bond with eachother, you can guarantee they’ll be best friends forever.

- Now when it comes to fighting, they’re both also very good at it. Though Law is very keen on his surroundings. If he notices anyone injured that’s on his side he’ll send his dragon over to provide some healing. His dragon also knows when to attack, and is very good in fighting in the sea as well due to being a dragon that is known to live in the water.

- Oh it can also spit out acid.

- Have I mentioned that the water it spits out is poisonous?? Just don’t wash it with water, it’ll make it worse. Yak milk is said to work, but it might not work with every tide glider poison you come across so you just have to be lucky and hope it works.

- They trust eachother greatly and you’ll definately be able to see it on the battlefield.

- As of jobs, I have mentioned that he is the doctor of the village but he is also the Chief!! There are other doctors in the village of course, he’s just the best one and the main doctor in the village.

- He does both duties which causes him to often get sleepless nights and to not take care of himself. But don’t worry! His Tide Glider is there to make sure he takes care of himself. As stated before, it will force him to sleep by laying on top of him against his will. That includes picking him up and bringing him to his bed!! He may not like it but somehow he does fall asleep, although begrudgingly. His dragon will also bring him anything he deems edible (even raw fish at times) just so he can have something to eat.
