I did it guys. 9 hours for this gorgeous Synthesist merfolk I'll play (hopefully) on @assiahgdr, Atlas Anàstasi. I have a background in mind but maybe I'll change that in te future. For now, here it comes! . . 🌊 Atlas Anàstasi is a great commander and the heir of one of the major clans in a merfolks' tribe known as Kyros, but exhiled with his family due to his father's attempt to take the throne. After the exodus, he will also be betrayed by his brothers and forced to flee to the shore. Here a halfelf, a local guard, will help him, trying to form a Sea Force who will fight pirates and monsters. Soon the two of them will fall in love, even contemplate to start a family. Then, the war and the Plague occur, slaying everyone whom encounter: he is alone again. He decides to continue to serve the sea, protecting the little, beautiful coral reef just beside the portual city. One day, a smugglers' ship approaches, maybe to steal what remains of the city; however, they also try to retrieve a part of the reef. Atlas challenges the smugglers, but he will be defeated; so they captured him, cut off his fins and throw him back to the sea. This would be death for certain: he couldn't be able to swim or flee from predators anymore, and blood's loss is inimaginable. The Luck therefore arises on him: he wakes up on a white rock covered by corals lying in a temple, where gentle clercs have rescued him, healed and protected. He will live there from since, at their side, at least before knowing that clercs were actually Vengeance Cultists, trying to brainwash every rescued. An attempt to flee, though, was out of question, until the white rock starts to move, the corals grow on his scars giving back to him the shape of the finn. He can now free himself from the cultists' grip, return on the surface and never looking back. Sadly, the spell won't endure too much: he knows though that something changed within him. He hasn't the time to realise: just touching the sand, finns vanish, leaving him to drag himself, tired, on the ground. I’m still curious about how they’re gonna have the fight against Solas happen. Because my suspension of disbelief can only go so far when you pit a thousand year old elf who managed to separate the magical world from the physical world like you’d separate a fucking atom to create nuclear energy, against you, Randal, age 22, who was found in an alley way in Tevinter by a couple of guys who have no clue what they’re doing
