Writing Tumblr Question

I usually make digital art and make it into a video for my youtube channel. One of my pieces has inspired me to write a short story for it but the video is about 5 minutes long and the short story is about 2.5 minutes.

What do I do?

Do I fill the empty space with music? Should I make the short story longer and risk adding too many details? I need help.
