Some Obey Me Headcanons!

Part One!!

Lucifer

Lucifer has always been the dad sibling. After each of his brothers were “born” while they were angels, he was the one to raise and teach them everything.

It’s common knowledge that Mammon is his favorite. Even if he hates to admit it. He’s hardest on Mammon because it’s the only thing he knows how to do anymore.

Despite the fact that they don’t seem to get along because of Mammon’s antics, Lucifer only ever confides some of his most pent up feelings to the second born.

The only other person he confides in this deeply is MC.

Before the fall, Belphie was his second favorite brother. Even after things have settled after Belphie was free again, he can never look at the youngest the same.

All he wants is for his brothers to be happy and live on. Even if it means working himself into the ground for their sakes.

He doesn’t ask for help. Help has to be forced upon him.

With how much he works, even at home, it’s not uncommon to find him napping with a pen in hand at his desk and his head on his paperwork.

He wishes he had done better raising Satan. He blames himself for their strained relationship, but he feels as if it is too late to truly fix it.

Sometimes he also wishes he had raised Satan as his son and not his brother, considering Satan was born from his wrath.

Children, for some reason or another, flock to him.

His control issues and needing to know everything that happens under his roof stems from the trauma of the war, the fall, and what happened with Lilith.

It’s his deepest fear that he will lose his brothers and be completely and utterly alone.

A bisexual mess of a demon. No one can convince me he doesn’t have at least a small crush on Diavolo.

Mammon

Oh the second born brother. He just wants to see everybody happy. But he always messes up and ends up making people angry instead.

He has severe impulse control issues, hence why he’s broke all the time. It isn’t that he doesn’t want to save his Grimm, I headcanon that his sin of Greed compels him to spend. It controls him and so he struggles to keep money.

But by gods does he have great luck with gambling. Get him going and he will win big every single time.

But keep that money where he can’t just grab it or else he will be compelled by his sin to buy things.

He doesn’t even want most of the things he buys. His sin took root in that empty space left from the fall and being cast out by the one he called his father.

His sin pushes him to try and fill that void with objects and money when really he just wants someone’s love.

After centuries of being called scum and a degenerate because of something he has little control over, he gave up trying and gave into just being his sin.

He cries easy but only to MC or Lucifer. He won’t show his tears to any of his other brothers. Maybe Beel sometimes. But only sometimes.

He knows Lucifer’s most precious and deepest secrets. He’s his brother’s confidant. But he doesn’t even breathe a word of these secrets to anyone else.

He tries so hard to get attention, so he does stupid shit. After falling to Devildom, his family was changed forever. So any attention is good attention even when it’s him being punished.

MC is the one who showed him positive love and attention again. It is one of many reasons he sticks to their side like fucking super glue to skin.

He’s actually a total mom-friend, though you wouldn’t guess it. You’d think he is the type to get drunk and pass out at a party? His alcohol tolerance is actually much higher than he lets on. He cleans up and takes care of people after they’ve all passed out.

Leviathan

He wasn’t nearly as anxious and against socializing before falling to Devildom. He retreated into himself out of fear of the unknown world they had all fallen into after the war.

He has an anxious attachment style. He knows it isn’t healthy. It’s rooted in the trauma that losing Lilith created.

The longer he stayed closed in on himself, the worse his anxiety got. To the point he became a recluse.

He fears getting close to someone. He feels insecure in relationships, not just in himself. He doesn’t feel like he’s good enough.

He’s had relationships in Devildom before, but the first one ended poorly and it only made things worse for how he saw himself. The demon only dated him because of who he was, and preferred his status as the Grand Admiral of Hell’s Navy. Not as who he really is.

The few relationships that came after all ended before they really could begin because his anxiety monster was screaming that he wasn’t really good enough. That they only ever pursued him for who he was in status and power.

MC’s persistence to become his friend is what made him begin to do some self-reflection.

They tried so hard to become friends with him, they put so much effort into him, and they encourage him to just be himself. If they do all of that, maybe he really is enough as he is.

He does try to step outside of his comfort zone more because MC opened his eyes to the truth of himself.

But baby steps are needed.

He taught himself how to code just so he could make games. He got bored after making one and preferred playing to creating.

He doesn’t actually hate Mammon. Their little rivalry traces back to when they were angels and still growing up, competing for Lucifer’s attention. He actually loves his brother very much, despite how irritate he gets.

His envy is its own thing. It took root within his insecurities and has a voice all its own. It used to be so loud that he couldn’t think. But the growth he’s had since MC came into his life helped quiet that voice down a lot.

He’s closest with Satan and Asmo, feeling like he doesn’t fit with his older two or youngest two brothers anymore.

Satan

He knew from day one that he wasn’t like the rest of his brothers. He was always different. Born a demon, never once an angel. He knew that they weren’t truly his brothers.

All he ever wanted was for Lucifer to be his father. Not his brother.

Lucifer once was his hero, the person he admired and respected with all his might.

As he got older, his wrath only grew with him. And his anger at Lucifer grew as well.

He wanted to find himself as separate from Lucifer. He knew where he’d come from. But everyone treated him as if he were just some offshoot of Lucifer. He wanted to be his own person. For everyone to see that. It fueled his anger and built the wall that came between them.

He’s an excellent shoulder for comfort. He often comforts Levi when he breaks down or provides reassurance to Asmo.

These three are the middle children, they stick together.

He was alive when the Library of Alexandria was burned. Even though he wasn’t supposed to go to the human realm, he saved some texts from the library and keeps them safe.

The real reason he wears his jackets the way he does is just like when you’re in bed. If it’s full on with both sleeves, he’s too hot. If he doesn’t have it on at all he’s too cold. So one arm in a sleeve and one arm not in a sleeve.

Asmo has tried and failed to give this boy fashion help. He refuses to take it. He thinks he looked like an intellectual (for the love of god please lose the black undershirt at least, Satan).

He carries cat treats and cat food in his bag at all times in case he comes across a kitty in need.

He has sneaked many cats into the House of Lamentation. Lucifer knew the entire time but let Satan have a few days before he “found out” about the cats.

His wrath has burned strong for so long, even when he was passive, that he didn’t know what it was like to feel calm. But MC’s very presence sends a wave of peace right to his very core.

Asmo

If you’re insecure and you know it clap your hands.

Levi might seem like the king of insecurity, but Asmo takes the cake.

He masks his insecurities with what people think is narcissism and over confidence. He puts on a show so nobody knows how he really sees himself.

Lust was always shoved down his throat as sexual only. So he went with it. He was supposed to be the Avatar of Lust. To be what was expected of him and to make sure he was liked, he did what he thought everyone wanted.

And it turned him into someone he never wanted to be. He didn’t know how to find himself again.

He isn’t nearly as sexual and lewd as everyone thinks. He’s touchy and clingy, yes, but touch is his love language.

When he’s hurt or doesn’t feel well, if he’s had a bad day, if he’s sad- all he wants is to be held by the person he loves and who loves him. He wants to hold hands or link arms. He wants to wrap his arms around them all the time.

But because everyone in Devildom only saw him as a sex symbol, he had to bury his truest desires. He had a persona to keep up.

While he does love to take care of himself, he used to break mirrors because he was so sick of who he had become. It took a lot of time for him to get through it.

His MC is the only one who wasn’t tainted by his power. A power that seemed to just be active all the time whether he wanted it or not.

Everyone was all over him but it wasn’t as if he could control it. His sin was always active, it attracted people.

But MC wasn’t interested or affected.

And that was what was most attractive to him.

They saw him for who he was and encouraged him to just be the true Asmo. Not the Asmo everyone wanted to see.

He is excellent at sewing. He loves making his own accessories and clothing from his own designs.

He’s ambidextrous. You think that the king of fashion only uses one hand? Darling, if he only used one hand then his homework would never get done. He write with one hands and be painting his toes with the other.

One of the few people that can get Levi out of his room to hang out. They’ve always been close. Sometimes he does that just so the others can get Levi’s laundry and dirty dishes.

He’s the most emotionally open and stable of the brothers. He’s made peace with his inner monsters and can coexist with them. He’s also surprisingly good at advice.

Can and will break into Lucifer’s study to make the eldest relax because he’s working too har.

He has bobby pins on him at all times. Not just for fashion but for lockpicking! He can be clever and beautiful!

Pact Headcanons

Okay bear with me because I’m starting this post on mobile at 4am but I’m thinking about pacts.

I’ve had a headcanon for a while that, after the MC makes a pact with Beel, they start to get hungry more often, and tend to build up muscle easier. So I thought I’d go ahead and just, write random pact headcanons for each of the boys?

I have tried not to include any clear spoilers, but if you haven’t yet made a pact with a specific brother, you may want to skip over them.

Some of the information may be considered dark, as a warning.

General Headcanons

The stronger the demon, the more potent / powerful the pact.

However, pacts will also get stronger the closer you are (relationship-wise, but this can also be proximity based) to a demon. For example, if you’re very close to Mammon and not close to Lucifer, your pact with Mammon will overpower the pact with Lucifer and amplify the effects brought about by Mammon’s pact. For a demon further on down the chain you would really have to hate Lucifer and be incredibly close to the demon to overpower the pact. For Mammon you only have to be friends, and close friends with Levi, etc. You can measure how close one of the brothers considers you by examining the effects you feel from your pact with them.

If two pacts interact (e.g. Levi’s envy and Lucifer’s pride), the stronger one will win out, or it will reduce the effects of both pacts. Ergo, you could balance out the negatives of one with the positives of the other by carefully adjusting your relationships with the parties involved.

All pacts have good and bad effects. They’ll vary from person to person, depending on their personality, but with the brothers their sins are the main influence of the pacts.

Having more pacts will reduce the rate at which you age, meaning Solomon is essentially immortal. Again, having pacts with stronger demons will amplify this, so having a pact with 7 of the most powerful demons in the Devildom would heavily slow down the rate at which the MC ages. If you make a pact with Diavolo, you’ll stop aging. Who knows what would happen if you somehow made a pact with his father? ((Note: if any pact involves selling your soul, the aging process will begin again, as you presumably need to die eventually for the exchange to be made))

Pacts create a weak empathy bridge between the demon and human. It’s not perfect, and it’s easy to ignore, but if you’re feeling down then the demons you have a pact with will be aware of it. The reverse is also true.

Even without a pact, the brothers can ‘feed’ from their sins. If you feel proud, Lucifer can gain energy from that, etc. For the MC, its weak initially as the brothers’ powers don’t work on them. However, once a pact is formed, it becomes a source of energy and power for them - this can be dangerous with demons who don’t know how to control themselves, as they may amplify the negatives of their pact as it means they can feast on their sin (or, for other demons, on whatever their influence is). More responsible demons, like the brothers, know how to balance it so that they’re able to feed without harming the MC, as this means they have a more stable food source for longer, and because they won’t want to cause harm to the MC.

Let’s get to the specifics for each brother:

Lucifer

Advantages: When you make a pact with Lucifer, you immediately become more confident. His pact is the strongest of the brothers, him being the eldest and most powerful, so there’s no waiting time for the pact to take effect. Essentially you’ll find it easier to be proud of both yourself, and others. His pact interferes with Levi’s - it counteracts the jealousy that you’d feel, and replaces it with pride, as a pact with Lucifer holds more power usually. His pact also grants an easier understanding of your surroundings and the people around you - whether it’s due to the confidence boost, allowing your anxieties to relax and to let you properly take in a situation, or just part of the pact is debatable.

Disadvantages: Pride easily leads to arrogance. Strangely enough, if you were already a confident person, you’ll find it easier to control yourself and not become too arrogant. But if you were struggling before, you’re going to swing wildly between completely adoring and despising yourself. Because the pact is so potent this can be dangerous, and you might need to distance yourself from a Lucifer and slowly build up a relationship again to be able to adapt to it.

Pact marks: Lucifer is a bit 50/50 on this. He’d like the pact mark to be in clear sight, because his pact was made to demonstrate a control and ownership over the human. However, because of how pacts usually work, he might fear that it would be perceived as being the other way about. Pact marks in clear sight are fair game, but perhaps somewhere where you could easily cover it up if needed would be preferred, so that he can see it when he wants to without it being on show constantly. He wouldn’t want it on show when you’re at RAD, honestly. He’d prefer for it to be on your back, hand if you’re willing to wear gloves, or neck if you cover it up with a high collar or scarf. Like most things, it all depends on his mood. He’ll adapt and make it clear that he’s no one’s pet no matter what you decide to do.

Mammon

Advantages: We’re already told that if Mammon likes someone, money comes easily to them. His pact partially influences this; if you want something, you’ll find that you’re able to get it much easier than before. This works best for material things, but if you’re very close to Mammon you’ll find that you’ll be able to win over people easier. It isn’t the same kind of charm that a pact with Asmo would grant, but still works fairly well. A pact with both brothers would boost the effects heavily, and you’ll find that you have most people wrapped around your finger after a simple greeting.

Disadvantages: Like Mammon, you might end up stealing to satisfy your greed. Getting everything you want is all well and good but it starts to lose its charm, whereas stealing still has some kind of buzz to it. At the same time, you may not even consider it to be stealing; it will start to feel as though everything already belongs to you. You’ll also become greedy for attention and feel lonely quite quickly. If you weren’t greedy before the effects won’t be as bad.

Pact marks: Mammon is possessive. He wants his pact mark on show - his number one spot would likely be on the back of your hands, so that when you’re holding hands he can rub his thumb over it, and so that its visible when you’re writing in classes or if you raise your hand to your face.

Leviathan

Advantages: Levi’s pact doesn’t necessarily offer many benefits to some people. If you’re willing to step back when you feel jealous and look inside yourself, its perfect for self-introspection and personal growth. It would be best combined with other pacts (especially Lucifer’s), and mostly works as a way of dampening the disadvantages that stronger pacts may offer by preventing you from becoming overly arrogant. It also helps to balance out Mammon’s pact, but does so by lowering your confidence in yourself so that you don’t seek attention or material possessions as much.

Disadvantages: You’re going to feel jealous constantly. If you have low self-esteem, it will present like Levi’s - you’ll believe that the world is unfair, that others are better than you. If you have a higher self-esteem, this will mix in an unhealthy fashion with the arrogance granted by Lucifer’s pact to make you simultaneously believe that you’re too good for everyone, and that you deserve better but can’t reach it because people are in your way. Overall, his pact is the most likely to isolate you from others.

Neutral: Depending on how you view it, this could be a good or bad thing, but Levi’s pact makes people jealous of you. This means that they tend to view you as being someone better than them, and might offer you some opportunities, but it can also make it difficult to form meaningful relationships and will likely isolate you in the end up. This will also have an impact on Mammon and Asmo’s pacts - if Levi’s pact is stronger, it will make people more likely to bend to your will, whilst also disliking you more as they feel unreasonably jealous of you whilst also being drawn to you. If the other’s pacts are stronger, it will lessen obsessions that have no base and will make it easier to form decent relationships that aren’t so superficial.

Pact marks: Anywhere. He doesn’t mind where it is, but if its smaller or less obvious than his brothers’ pact marks, he’s going to feel upset and not know how to deal with it. It all depends on your reasoning, but if you appear to see him as equal to or better than his brothers, he really won’t mind at all. When he’s feeling less awkward, he’ll want to trace his fingers over it, so preferably somewhere he can easily access. Number one spots would be on your shoulder, neck, or wrist.

Satan

Advantages: His pact, oddly, is a good confidence boost. More specifically, it makes you a lot less likely to put up with unfair and unjust behaviour. You’re more confident in speaking out against the things you don’t agree with. You’ll likely end up reading a lot more and educating yourself on everything so that you have the most concrete knowledge on any topic of discussion.

Disadvantages: If you’re not careful, discussions can become arguments and can lead to bad blood easily. You’ll be less forgiving than before, less willing to let things go. And you’re constantly, constantly angry. You’ll have to find a healthy outlet for this quickly, or it’ll consume you. Some relationships may end up tainted by the feelings his pact creates.

Your relationship: Your relationship with Satan is going to be strange. You both act as a comfort for each other, and when you’re around him both of you will be less angry. However, if Satan is in a bad mood and in need of a quick energy boost, he might decide to make you angry so that he can feed off of it. He sees it as being a short term risk; he can soothe you after, if he decides to, and if he believes you’re close enough that you won’t hold onto it. The problem is when he doesn’t. He likes seeing you angry, although preferably not at him, but in the end it really won’t matter so long as you’re mad at someone. Relationships can quickly become unhealthy, but your relationship with him will swing wildly if the two of you don’t sit and talk things over and work out a good balance; the best results would be if you were to go to Satan when angry about something else and let him soothe you by drawing out your anger. That way he gets a boost and the two of you remain relatively calm, keeping your anger in a safe and controlled space.

Pact marks: Back of the hand. He wants to see it when you’re reading. He already builds up a tendency to kiss you on the back of the hand, and he’d like to be reminded of your pact when he does so. Its a softer gesture that he doesn’t offer to many, and he gets to offer it to someone who accepts him no matter what, with a visible reminder of that.

Asmodeus

Advantages: People are going to like you. You’ll be able to charm almost anyone (exceptions being people who are immune to the demons’ powers, and anyone with more power than you). Even if you can’t charm someone, you’ll likely to be able to mildly influence their opinion of you. You’ll also become better at reading people, and will be able to guess at their desires. With enough popularity, you may end up influencing the worlds’ beauty standards to more closely match how you look (if you decide to do influential work in the public eye).

Disadvantages: Whether you try to or not, you’re going to attract all kinds of people. This can put you in dangerous situations and can easily build obsessions. You’ll find the human world to be a much more dangerous place, and will have to be wary of the people around you. Eventually you’ll be able to better influence how much people like you, so that it won’t become an obsession, but you’ll need some form of protection at all times in the human world for quite some time after the pact is made.

Pact marks: Asmo doesn’t mind so long as he gets to see it when he wants to. He wants you to be happy and confident in yourself. That said, he does want to feel like your first priority. Like Levi, he wouldn’t want his pact mark to be smaller or less obvious than his brothers’ marks. His favourite places would be on your chest or the top centre of your back.

Beelzebub

Advantages: Beel’s pact gives you an iron stomach. You can eat anything and as much as you want without it having much of an impact on your weight, although you will end up building muscle a lot easier. Your health will improve, and become as ideal as it can be. You’ll find that you don’t get sick very often and have a stronger immune system. Any dietary needs will become less prominent, from allergies to intolerances. Overall, his pact offers a lot of physical benefits.

Disadvantages: You’re going to feel hungry almost all of the time. Beel’s hunger influences your own, so when he’s hungry, you’ll be hungry too. Not only will eating take up more of your time and focus, but you’ll also have to spend a lot more on food. You won’t be anywhere near his level, but you’ll probably be hitting somewhere around triple the normal recommended daily intake.

Pact marks: Beel wants you to be happy, like Asmo, so you can put the pact mark wherever you want. He won’t pay much notice to it unless he’s feeling particularly low or possessive, but even then just having you around calms him down. He doesn’t need the pact mark to be a reminder of your relationship - he’s got you, and that’s more than enough for him. He’d probably like for you to have the mark over your stomach, if you’d be content with that - it’s an amusing idea to him, and it just feels right. Also, if he wraps his arms around you from behind, he can rest his hand over it.

Belphegor

Advantages: After resting, you’ll function better. You’ll be able to focus better, you’ll be more perceptive, you feel healthier, etc. On good days, you feel well rested after quick naps. His pact is a huge boost to your brain and body, and your mood will benefit from it too, leaving you feeling happier and more capable.

Disadvantages: More often than not, you need to sleep more than before, and on bad days, no amount of rest will be enough. You’ll also easily slip into bad habits in which you end up sleeping instead of actually taking care of yourself. Like Levi’s, his pact can be isolating as sleeping can often seem more appealing than spending meaningful time with people. A controlled sleep schedule is necessary to keep things under control.

Pact marks: Where you put the pact mark is your own decision, and he’s not going to make it for you. That said, he’d prefer for it to be somewhere you can easily see, so that you remember him and think of him often, and he’d rather you didn’t cover it up. He views the pact mark as a lasting reminder of him, and feels betrayed if you don’t view it the same way. The most ideal place would probably be on your hands or wrists, but he’s more likely to have places he hates (e.g. your back, where you couldn’t easily see it) than places he likes.

Lesson 51 analysis + 52 predictions

Eh I decided I had enough time and stuff in my head to write this out now.

The Book and the Flower

The book they found and the flower are too coincidental for them not to have any significance in the upcoming arc, so lets analyze them.

A little on the nose. Satan names his kitties after artists. HE LIKES ART, and the books in the library happen to be about art. He remarks that they’re all much more aligned with his interests than the ones in the actual House of Lamentation, except for one...

Geraniums have different (and sometimes contradictory) symbolism dependent on their color. Pink geraniums were supposedly used in love potions. The owner of the library may have someone they admired, or maybe the book is a metaphor for Satan himself.

This may be alluding to the Bible verse Matthew 14:31:

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

We are undertaking trials named after the seven heavenly virtues in order to earn our Sorcerer’s license. We’ve already knocked out temperance and charity, so it may be related to whichever trial this is supposed to be.

Generally, the verse encourages holding onto faith even in the most tempestuous situations, so my guess would be this is the trial of patience. This promises to be a Satan-heavy arc, and he’s the Avatar of Wrath, so he would be a good candidate to assist in that endeavor. Simeon is also the wielder of the Wrath glowstick. It’s angry bois all around!

Strangely enough, Simeon is insistent on moving onto finding Luke and Mammon at this point, and Satan doesn’t get the chance to skim through the actual contents of the book. It’s a little uncharacteristic of him because he’s generally pretty laid back and he doesn’t seem to be in any particular rush to get out of past once when step into it: he’s willing to faff around with the angel brothers first. He does realize this isn’t searching for Luke and Mammon, right?

So an alternative interpretation is that Simeon really did just conjure all this up for Satan like he later accuses, and reading that book might have dispelled the illusion sooner than he’d like. And he’s just a really good actor telling the “okay” lies. But for this to work Barbatos would have to be in on it too... and I can’t see him having that ulterior motive. His arrival at the cafe is pretty timely, though.

It’s probably just the banshee, and Simeon is just being opportunistic and trying to get Satan to work through his problems along the way. Since he actually likes this period of time, he may not be in a great hurry to leave.

Beelzebub’s Hunger Pangs

In this lesson we learn that Beelzebub is growing quite the appetite and he and the brothers are confused by it. They have good reason to be, because Beelzebub wasn’t a glutton when we first interacted with his past angel self!

This leads me to believe MC meddling with the past may have unintentionally triggered something in past angel Beel that’s unravelling in his timeline. Michael warns us about this effect after he fishes us out of the past the first time. It doesn’t seem like it’s something he can reverse.

I think he means this past Beelzebub is now reacting to our presence in this particular timeline, and we’re jumpstarting the demonic impulses now, sooner than they would normally manifest. In our timeline, he may have let himself go after he fell. Whoops.

The angel bros are also quite certain they know MC now, and “Sully”, which could also mean there’s some kind of transfer going on between their past and present selves with MC at the center, and that might affect how the future unfolds. Which is... not necessarily good.

Compare and Contrast: Simeon vs. Lucifer

We learn that Simeon is very at home in the time period he steps into. He loves the air, and he admits this was the brightest spot of his life.

Simeon was a Seraphim alongside Lucifer and Michael in this period of time. They’re implied to be the rulers of the Celestial Realm, and though Simeon still seems to answer to Michael and Lucifer, he was still close to the seat of power and he was likely involved in determining how the Celestial Realm functioned. It’s implied that the Seraphim spent most of their time in the Celestial Palace: Simeon having fond memories of the time spent there means he enjoyed whatever it is they do there.

Buuuut... I think this may revolve around his affection for Lucifer and Michael more than any of the other Seraphim. It’s implied that he and Michael have a long history together, and that likely applies to Lucifer as well; I think they grew up and climbed the celestial ranks together. He was demoted after the Great Celestial War for reasons left unexplored so far, but it’s telling that functionally his position hasn’t changed and he’s still answering to Michael -- and as far as we know, only Michael. And not all the time lol.

In contrast, Lucifer seems to have tried to mentally bury all his Celestial Realm memories. He acknowledges it wasn’t all bad but those memories for him are far and few in between. He sure as hell doesn’t like to bring them up or discuss them, and will flagrantly lie about it when someone tries to pry some kind of sentiment out of him.

My guess is that Lucifer, and possibly Michael, have a unique relationship with their lovely father that resulted in trauma powerful enough to completely eclipse all the good times Lucifer may have had in the Celestial Realm. Lucifer outright hates making himself vulnerable in any capacity, so he turns from a metaphorical peacock into a metaphorical porcupine when the Celestial Realm is brought up. He can tangentially discuss it with Simeon and MC, though, however sparsely. He will not reminiscence about it in any other setting.

His brothers might have been the only thing that kept him sane through all that, whatever it was. Considering how much Michael seems to miss the brothers, too, it may have been the same situation with him. He and Lucifer might have shared some good ol’ traumabonding that no one else could really understand, but they might have come to entirely different conclusions on what needed to be done about it.

Demons becoming more angelic…?

In a hard mode lesson in Season 2, Barbatos confronts Lucifer about how much he’s changed and what it might mean for the future. In the context of that season, we’re led to believe that this is referencing the upcoming conflict between him and Diavolo: a conflict implied to force Lucifer to choose between his love for his brothers or his loyalty to Diavolo.

Only that doesn’t really happen in Season 2.

Similar to how MC may be triggering demonic changes in the angel brothers, there’s evidence MC is making the present demon Lucifer more angelic. It doesn’t actually stop here, either.

Lucifer doesn’t immediately revert back to his old self even after he regains his memories after his bout of amnesia. Just how he regained them might be noteworthy, too: it was only after Michael invaded our dreams and left in the wake of the Ring of Light ‘choosing’ MC.

This ability to tug the brothers back and forth along the angel/demon spectrum could be something Michael/Simeon might be keen on taking advantage of to get Lucifer and the brothers back. If angels can turn into demons, then logically demons can turn into angels. We do remember Michael is plotting something, right? And whatever it is, Simeon specifically is being used to carry it out (Luke likely is too clueless to really be of much use in this regard).

What I do know is this isn’t a game that’s going to outright vilify the titular Christian archangel or the sexy nowdateable, so regardless of what it is, it’s more likely to end with reconciliation more than anything else. Diavolo’s exchange program requires cooperation with the Celestial Realm, and I think Michael eventually becoming an ally is the only way it could work. Would not bet on daddy being interested, and I don’t think Simeon is gonna stab everyone and take over. This is a harem otome, not an edgy shounen anime.

Also I want my Luke content, damn it. I hope he shows up in the next lesson and gets to faff around with the angel bros, too. I’m afraid they’re going to shove him off until the very end in favor of Satan x Lucifer bonding part 3. It’ll be difficult to fit TWO meaningful character arcs in one lesson, but I’m hoping they try. Why set up all the inner conflict in Luke right beforehand, otherwise?

Obey me! Scarred, Chapt. 2

Plot: It’s time for the next step in Diavolo’s plan to unify the realms. But, in order to work, the demons would be subjected to confront their worst fears, and in some cases, who they are.

Trigger warning: Brief mention of PTSD

“We just rewatched the entire series of TSL.” Mc stated, their eyes stuck to the screen as the credits rolled. “And Levi wasn’t even here. It was his idea.”Solomon groaned and let himself sink further down on the sofa. “It ain't his fault they had to go to a last-minute meeting.” Mc explained, while looked at the DVD collection Levi had landed them. They didn’t know when the brothers were going to show up, so they were planning to just put another movie. “Do you think The Devildom has something like Netflix? Devflix or something like that?”When Solomon did not respond Mc turned around. “I just got a text from Simeon. Asking me to get back to Purgatory Hall, now. Seems important.”He explained, getting up from the where he had been sitting and picking up his stuff.“I should get going, just to see what this is all about. I’ll be seeing you tomorrow at RAD, as for Deviflix, it isn’t a bad idea. They should connect it with Netflix, that way we can catch up on Queer Eye.” Mc laughed at the mere idea of it. Once they reached the front door and said goodbye to each other the door snapped open. To reveal seven demons who were not in a good mood. “Solomon.” Lucifer acknowledged the man’s presence before giving Mc a look that screamed ‘we need to talk.’ Mc’s life flashed before their very eyes, before closing the door. Not before Solomon said they will be missed after their dead. The seven demons settled on Lucifer’s study. None of them had said a word ever since they entered. Not even Beel, who at this point must be starving from staying late at RAD. Lucifer was sitting at his desk with his hands over his face, Mammon was standing by some books, and surprisingly, was not trying to steal any of them. Satan was sitting oddly close to Lucifer; the other brothers were scattered around the room. It was a weird feeling, normally the brothers were always screaming and fighting between themselves. But now, the silence was deafening. “Is…everything okay? Did something happen at RAD?” Mc asked, feeling overwhelmed at the reactions of the demons they had grown so fond of. “Ah, we didn’t tell you.” Lucifer sighed and motioned for Mc to sit down. “Okay, it is not. It is…far from okay.”Levi’s voice was low and tense. It suddenly clicked. They were afraid. Something happened at RAD. Never in their life had Mc seen the brothers scared. They were usually so high and mighty that at times the only thing that seemed to hurt them was their own stupidity. To say the least, Mc was worried for them. They have been living together for a while, so Mc knew those dumbasses and the fact that they were so scarred to the point where Asmodeous was not flirting…well, that worried them. “You are aware of how Lord Diavolo is trying to unify the three realms?” Mc nodded. “Well, Diavolo thought that before we can make any serious connection with the Human World should amend the relationship between the Celestial Realm and the Devildom.” Lucifer sighed, he seemed annoyed but also tired. “Today-”, before he could continue one of the brothers chimed in. “Basically, we were on a meeting with some Archangels that we used to know and God. They will be staying in The Devildom for a few days until we can make sure everything between the two realms is going easy peasy.” Mammon blurted out, in an angry tone that seemed to become venom the moment it escaped his lips. God. The same God who stripped every single one of them from their Holy Grace and made them fall. God, who drove them to the brink of causing a war due to his dictatorship attitude. The same God whose fault was Lilith had died. The one that had caused the twins to feel at fault, the very same God, who without knowing it, had indirectly caused Satan to have an identity crisis. No wonder the demons were scared. Of course they would, Mc knew Lucifer and Beel had high PTSD from that war. It must not be easy having to face the very being that hurt you so much, and act like nothing had happen for the sake of their boss. “Mammon, you can’t just say stuff like that to a human!” Levi glared at his brother. Belphegor nodded at his side. “Yeah, who knows how they might take the news. I mean, eventually they might meet God here. That must be quite a shock for a human.” Belphegor let his head fall onto levi’s shoulder as he finished talking. “To be fair, Mc and Solomon should have already made peace with the fact that God exists. Especially after meeting someone like me. A glance to this face and you definitely can tell heaven exist.” Asmo joked in an attempt to lighten the mood of the room. But a certain someone was shocked with the news. “Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! What do you guys mean God will be staying at the Devildom for a few days? How much is a few days?” “He will be staying around 12 to 13 days.” Satan spoke in a low tone, unlikely of him given that he constantly was trying to get a rise out of Lucifer. “How are you guys going to manage that?” Mc was exasperated, they knew how hurt the brothers were because of what happen. Even if it was millenniums ago, they were still hurt about what had happened. “There is no need to worry. We just plan on staying out of His and Lord Diavolos way. Diavolo will be stealing most of His time, so we only need to worry about not running into Him while we are going about our day.” Lucifer sighed; his eyes lost. “What will happen when you do run into him? You can’t just trust that luck will be on your side those days. One of you will eventually run into Him. What happens then?” The demons glanced between one another. While that was an obvious statement, none of them had entertained the thought. What if they accidentally meet one on one with God? When they were all in one room it made it less dangerous, it didn’t matter how much they fought or acted like children, they had each other’s back. But when they were alone…that was another story. Lucifer felt like he could handle that, but what about the others? What if Beel and their father talked, how would he feel having to face the man that was directly responsible for Lilith’s death? He already blamed himself about it, what if their father brought it up? “If anything and I mean anything happens with Him, I want you guys to call me. I don’t care if it was that he waved at you from another room or the fact that you were in the same room for more than five seconds. I want to know about every single interaction that any of us have with him. I want to know if he even dares to breath in your general direction. Because the moment he opposes a treat to any member of this family, I don’t care how much we owe Diavolo, this will be over.”And with that Lucifer dismissed everyone, asking to be left alone. After a few meaningless hours where Lucifer could not get any work done, he went straight to his room, where he found a certain brother of his, surprisingly, not stealing anything. “Mammon? What are you doing in my room?” Lucifer closed the door behind him before looking at his younger brother. Mammon was not looking at Lucifer yet, and in fact, was avoiding the gaze of the older brother. “I came here to talk with ya.” The thing was, as much as Beel blamed himself for Lilith’s dead, Mammon felt guilty at not having been there to protect his little sister. Why did all that responsibility had to fall on Beel? Perhaps if he had been stronger and faster, he could have defended himself in time to go help the his brothers and Lilith, maybe that way she would still alive. Lucifer motioned for mammon to sit down, while he did as well on the chair that was closest to him. “You were…well, you know…close or whatever with Father, before the fall, that is.” Lucifer nodded.“ Mammon took a deep breath. “Ya know He would never just, accept coming down here. Specially since this is meant to reestablish peace between the realms. Even Levi mentioned it when we were walking back. He hates demons. Why do ya think he’s actually here?” Lucifer thought for a moment. He thought back to his time in the Celestial realm and his father. Mammon was right. God would never just accept to come to a meeting here, specially not if he had to stay 12 whole days, God must be planning something. “That doesn’t matter.” He decided. “If He is planning something, he is still here. We can use that to get the Celestial Realm to cooperate for Diavolos plan. Besides, whatever it is he is planning, it won’t matter, because he won’t succeed. Not again.” There were perhaps a thousand words were left unsaid, but there was no need for them. All they needed was the promise that they will be staying at each other’s side, and with that, Mammon left Lucifer’s room, not before giving his brother a reassuring smile. The 7 of them would be okay. Or at least, Lucifer hoped that was the case.

Otome characters you might like according to your OM! favourite (Lucifer, Asmo and Belphie)

I'm going to include both paid and free otome games. I'm also going to mention some games that aren’t otomes but have dating sim stuff (i.e Fire Emblem). This post is only my opinion and based on the games I've played. I hope these work as recommendations for you!

Lucifer

Hijikata Toshizo (Hakuouki): Hijikata is the first commander of the Shinsengumi, a short-tempred, but intelligent man. He is the most mature character from the main cast. Hijikata is very strict with the other commanders, who are very chaotic just like the demon brothers, and the protagonist, whom he distrusts at first. He also has a close relationship (though without any implications) with the Shinsengumi leader, similar to Diavolo. He lacks some of the kinky stuff Luci has, but leaving that aside, Hijikata might be a good route to play.

Jumin Han (Mystic Messenger): Jumin is a CEO who likes cats a bit too much. He is cold and centered on his work. The only close relationship he has is with the leader of the charity organization he belongs to, who is his best friend, and lacks any romantic experience. I would say Jumin is much less developed than Lucifer regarding to social interactions. Also, one of the characters has a strong distaste (which seems to be one-sided) for him. When you enter into his route, he is possesive, but in a slightly different way than Lucifer, more...over-protective. However, in some instances, he can have the same style of possesiveness as Lucifer. If you don’t mind he is less assertive, Jumin could be a very decent alternative.

Xander (Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest): Xander isn’t from an otome, so he doesn’t have as much romantic stuff, but he is the most similar character to Lucifer, story and character-wise imo. Xander is the crown prince of the country of Nohr, a stoic and wise man. He is the older brother of the royal family, so he has to assume all the responsabilities, taking questionable decisions and pushing away his own feelings in order to maintain peace and protect his family. The relationship with one of his siblings, Leo, is similar to the one Lucifer has with Satan (post Satan arc). Xander has also a very complicated relationship with his father: to keep it spoiler-free, let’s just say he is what would have happened if Lucifer hadn’t rebelled against God.

Nobunaga Oda (Ikemen Sengoku): A charismatic and intelligent warlord who is trying to unify Japan. Very bold with the MC. He basically wants to own her, winning Go matches and claiming a part of her body with each victory. It sounds somewhat fucked up at first, but tbf it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Nobunaga isn’t as strict as Lucifer, but when the moment comes he can be very serious.

I haven’t played it, but...I’ve been told that Victor from My Love’s Queen Choice, Jumin and Lucifer form the holy trinity of sugar daddies in mobile otomes. Chikage Kazama from Hakuouki isn't that similar to Luci, but he has some points his fans could enjoy a lot (he is one of my favourite LIs)

Asmodeus

None of these recommendations are as kinky as Asmo, sorry I don't play many +18 otomes. I still hope you like them Dx

Karma and Rumpel (Cinderella Phenomenon): I think both might work for someone who likes Asmo. First, Rumpel is quite a flirt. He has a curse that provokes him amnesia, but that doesn't stop him from trying to charm beautiful women. Then we have Karma, who has a curse that makes women fall in love with him, so he usually dresses as one to not attract them. He isn't that much of a flirt, but he is quite narcissistic. Put both in the same room, what could go wrong? Both characters end up having a decent depth and growth, so if you are one of those people who wants Asmo to be more than his quirks, you are probably going to enjoy them a lot.

Zen (Mystic Messenger): At first a narcissistic actor, then the most supportive and sweet character from all Mystic Messenger (and also the most stable). I would say he subverts the archetype of the flirt/narcissist in otomes. He has a past and context explaining why is he like that, and his route makes a twist with the rival in love with him. If you want a different focus of the archetype Zen is a really good option for you.

Ikki (Amnesia): Ikki has a special charm that attracts women. This charm will cause the protagonist in Amnesia to get into lots of problems with people who are totally in love with him. He isn’t narcissistic nor a flirt, but if you are interested in a story about how might be dating Asmo with the consequences of his powers in other people, Ikki's route could interest you.

Yuri (Nameless): Yuri has also a charm that makes people being attracted to him. However, it isn't as exaggerated as Ikki or Asmo especially because all the main characters in Nameless attract a lot of people. He is a flirt and narcissist, practically at the same level as Asmo (I had a lot of fun with his moments). Imo, he is the most intelligent person in the game, and reads quite well the other characters. In his route we will learn more about his behavior, and he will be forced to grow and leave behind his attitude.

Sylvain from Fire Emblem Three Houses and Jiyeon from Dandelion might also be good recommendations, it’s just that they are a bit more...controversial.

Belphie

These characters are very spoilery, I'll try my best to explain why you might like them.

Unknown (Mystic Messenger): A twin, just like Belphie. Both have violent episodes, even trying to hurt the protagonist. They direct their hate to certain characters, whom they consider responsibles of their miserable situation. At heart, they are really kind and sensitive, but have changed because of their circunstances. I would say Unknown's route doesn't portray him as well as the rest of the game, but regardless you might enjoy it if you like Belphie.

“Nameless” (Nameless): Okay, this one quite spoilery, I'll try to explain it without saying much. Belphie's situation? Imagine it but worse, with nobody knowing where you are and not being able to try anything to escape. Then combine his hate for humans and his love for Lilith, and you'll have the complicated feelings this character has towards the protagonist of Nameless. For me, he is literally Belphie, just much more dramatic and dark...

Monshiro (Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly): if the character before is a darker Belphie, this is a lighter Belphie. All the characters in Psychedelica are trapped in a mansion with monsters inside. This mysterious man appears to help the protagonist to fight them at certain times. Even if the rest of characters are very suspicious of him, he seems to be kind and calm, to the point he doesn't appear to know much about the situation the main characrers are involved in. When we continue advancing through the story, we will learn his real identity, and the sad truth about him. There is also another important similarity with Belph, but, spoilers.

Yeonho (Nameless): Like you can guess from the other character, Nameless is darker than other otomes. Yeonho is a sweet boy, very dependant on the protagonist. He is shy, and doesn't like to socialize with people, even if he is quite popular in his class. When you enter into his route, he becomes a little bit obssesive, and some of his endings are terrifying. If you are a masochist like me enjoy being alert with a sweet character that could break in any moment, Yeonho's route is for you.

I would want to recommend another character from Nameless, who I think has some points that could remind of Belphie, but given that this is not apparent at first, I'll let you discover by yourselves if you play the game.

I wouldn't consider them that similar, but Ukyo from Amnesia is quite the Belphie experience. If I had to pick an only route among otome games I would pick this one. Totally recommended. Kei Okazaki from Collar x Malice has also some quirks Belphie fans might enjoy.

Lucifer SFW Alphabet

Because i’m getting no requests i’m just going to write this. Remember all this is just my opinion and you can gladly tell me your opinion on this without hating me. Also remember that those are fictional characters i write about.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

I don’t think he would be really affectionate in public. Maybe holding hands or putting his arm around your waist when another demon comes too near. In private he loves to give you hugs from behind when you’re doing something like reading or playing something on your phone. When you’re short he would love to give you forehead kisses.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He would be the mom friend. Everytime you would want to do something reckless he would try to keep you away from doing it. But if you still do it and get injured he would rub it in your face but still helps you. He would also straight up tell you when he doesn’t like the person you have a crush on and would tell you that they would just hurt you in the end. If they hurt you in the end tho he would still make their life a living hell.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

At first he wouldn’t know what cuddling really is and that it has no sense. But the more you force him to cuddle with you the more he likes it. He wouldn’t straight up ask you for cuddles tho (He’s too proud for that) but would just drag you to the bed. He would definitely be the big spoon and having you in his arms. It makes him feel powerful and he loves that you trust him so much that you want to cuddle with him.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He wouldn’t like settling down with all the work he gets from Diavolo and his brothers he has enough stress already. I’m sorry. But he would want to settle down he just doesn’t have time for it. He can cook pretty good though and is very proud of his skills. Even Gordon Ramsay would be impressed with how fast he can cut them vegetables. His cleaning is also very good. I can see him as a little clean freak but not like Levi or Overhaul.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

If he had to break up he would plan it at first to prepare himself and would make sure that it is privately (He may be a demon but he was an angel). He would tell you in person with a straight face and then would leave while trying to keep a straight face. Depending on the reason he would throw himself into paperwork and would try to avoid you as much as possible but would still make sure a little bit that he hurt you not that much.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

In my opinion it would get him very long to think about marriage and i also think he as a demon doesn’t really believe into marriage and doesn’t really see the point in it. He thinks when two partners really trust each other that they don’t need to prove it through something like that and he also thinks that it’s a waste of money.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Real Talk: He tried to kill us multiple times and threatened to do so even more times and no one can’t deny that. He tries his best not do do so but sometimes there’s still a little bit anger there that he didn’t put into Satan. Emotionally: He would straight up tell you that he doesn’t like the dress you’re wearing and dosn’t really think about how much he hurts you with it. But he wouldn’t straight up tell you how useless you are and very hurtful things.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

In private you will get a lot of hugs from behind that you that scare the shit out of you and he likes to see you get flustered. At first though he wouldn’t really like hugs but in the end he would love to wrap you in his arms knowing he is the only one who can make you feel this save.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

This man expresses his love more with actions and rather than words and would take him a lot of time to say it. He shows you how much he loves you through small actions like asking how your day was if you had something to eat already and if you drank enough.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I don’t think he gets jealous very easily and if he is he won’t really show it unless the person does something that you don’t want but then he won’t hesitate to show him that you belong to him.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Forehead kisses happen pretty often or kissing on top of your head when he hugs you. His kisses can be very passionate and afterwards you will feel breathless pretty often. He loves it when you kiss his neck especially on the back.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Kids remind him of his brothers. At first he would hate them but after a while he would become their strict father figure. Still i don’t see him with having children. It’s just so much stress.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Coffee, cuddles and sometimes breakfast in bed on special occasions. But he has to get out of bed pretty quickly to start making breakfast for his brothers. He enjoys the silence in the morning and the honesty you have when you just woke up.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

The night would be spent with him doing paperwork and you reading, homework/studying or playing on your phone in silence. You laying on his bed trying to stay awake so that you could fall asleep together. When you would fail to stay awake and would fall asleep he would tug you in and give you a kiss.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It would probably take him a long time to reveal any secret at all because of the things that happened in the past. He would also reveal them very slowly so prepare to be patient. His pride would also prevent him from revealing embarrassing secrets.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

With his brothers he gets angry very easily because he lived with them for a very long time but with you it would take him longer because he wants your stay here in the Devildom to be perfect. But we also saw that if you anger him too much that he isn’t above giving you a proper punishment. (*cough* killing you *cough*)

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He would remember many things about you: how you like your coffee or tea, your favorite food, birthday and everything that’s has a little bit of importance. If you talk about something you like he would remember to buy it for you on your birthday.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Aside from all the clishé ones like first kiss, first i love you i think it would be the first moment you completely trust him like coming to him after a nightmare (I’m going to make this my next headcanon), sleeping next to him while knowing he is a demon. I think since he fell he was never fully trusted and you giving him that trust just makes him really happy and proud.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

I think he is secretly very protective but doesn’t show it that much. Moments where he will step in would be when he sees that you’re clearly uncomfortable but can’t get out of the situation like a demon is in your personal space. If that demon annoys you he will make sure to show them that he is there to protect you and if they still don’t get it he is not above yeeting them into oblivion.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

I think the most effort he would put into everyday tasks and gifts. If he notices that you don’t like the way you look he will give you at least compliment everyday or if he knows that you get anxious in social situations he would make sure to prevent getting into one. But dates would also be great. He would go into a good restaurant or watching a movie depending on what you like more.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Staying up to late and drinking way too much coffee. I don’t know why but i see him as a smoker ( it wouldn’t affect him because he is a demon ). He tried it once and found out that it is pretty relaxing.

( no i don’t like smoking please don’t do it )

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

I think he cares very much about his looks ( not as much as Asmo though ) and is really proud knowing how handsome he is. He has natural beauty but he still spends a lot of time on his hair i think. His animal is a peacock what did you expect.

I think through all his many years of living he realized that time somewhat heals so yes the first couple years he wouldn’t be exactly the same but he knows that he has to get over you because time goes on. But if he is the reason you’re no longer with him he would feel very horrible and it would take very long to forgive himself and would make sure to not make the same mistake again.

Wanted to ramble about somethings i’ve noticed about the bros from the game, since i’m bored. This will probably be long.

Might hit a sensitive topic on Mammon, so heads up.

Lucifer

Very straightforward and prideful (ofc), assumes his role of oldest brother and commands authority from his younger brothers and tends to be aggressive when they do not comply (mostly yelling unless it’s mammon)

As shown in one of his Devilgrams, when his brothers were passed out at a party and Diavolo & Barbatos were nowhere to be seen, Lucifer showed a more joking a loving side to his brothers. He generally cares, but because of his role and status he most likely sees this as a sign of weakness to show those feelings. Diavolo, however seems to be able to catch his more subtle loving gestures to his brothers, where it would seem to others as nothing more than his usual self.

He appears to actually hold a lot of anxiety or worry over his brothers, akin to a mother and her children. As Diavolo stated, when the mc started making pacts with his brothers one by one he was panicking from the fear of them “growing up” and not needing him. Which he showed to mc as aggression.

Is actually really jealous over mc when others are involved and are touching or being close to them. Will start to express this by demanding something of mc (in the case of the race in the paint card, this would be not continuing the race) and he openly expresses his jealousy, though not admitting to it unless called out. His demands can be taken down with acts of affection, to which he’ll calm down and find a common ground.

Hides any feelings of love he might have behind possessiveness. He can’t seem to admit he loves and wants someone to stay by him, so he shows this by showing possession. (IE: the pact thing) He wants greatly to make that pact with you, but he is unwilling to admit being owned by anyone. This is probably another side effect of his deal with Diavolo, the ultimate blow to his pride. But if you don’t kiss him, he actually shows to be pretty hurt (one probably wouldn’t think much of his question, but since it isn’t in his nature to care over such a thing, you can read it as hurting quite a bit)

Actually knows of the fact he’s basically Satan’s father, but treats him like a brother. Only uses that fact to piss off Satan if he feels like it.

When he punishes Beel with a “no dinner tonight” he never means it.

Mammon

Mammon is shown to actually be very loyal to Lucifer and respect him (i’m just going off a screenshot I saw from “The Rulebook” I haven’t really seen the whole story yet) It’s possible Mammon might have worked closely with Lucifer in the Celestial Realm, keeping him together in a way. Most likely why he’s Lucifer’s “favorite”

Mammon most likely has a form of ptsd or extreme anxiety when it comes to witches and this is mostly due to “Maddi” a very powerful witch that tried to force Diavolo to marry her.

Maddi tricked Mammon into going home with her and when he returned to the Devildom he was in tears and he had constant nightmares after his return, moaning in his sleep and even stopped spending money for a while. Considering the context of the story it leads me to believe Mammon might have been taken advantage of by this witch. (The Escorts Devilgram)

Mammon seems to have abandonment issues, even if he wants to admit it or not. It’s the first time he’s felt that way about someone, the first time someone has actually been kind to him and make him laugh. (Least in the devildom) He’s scared to loose that and scared of the mc becoming bored of him.

Mammon is a really caring older brother, but because of his greedy nature it is never acknowledged. The same could be said of his brothers, they act like they hate him by being mean to him, but they actually care a lot about him.

Levi

Has a lot of social anxiety and when in large crowds starts to panic or get overwhelmed.

Actually knows how to dance quite well, even as a duet.

Enjoys playing games with his brothers, tho his use of gaming secrets tend to piss off Satan if he doesn’t know beforehand.

Apparently can summon sea monsters.

Is pretty good when it comes to cliche dating sim based flirting, but when confronted with actual shows of affection he’s red at the face and starts to stutter.

Showing actual care or affection to him will easily earn you a “i love you so much”

When sad, use something from TSL to reassure him.

Almost broke his back trying to lift Beel once

Satan

The fact he’s handsome and has a pretty trusting demeanor when he wants to make it easy for him to deceive others. As belphie said once, his smile had always been a lie until the body switch events happened.

Daddy Issues (Ongoing, but Lessened)

Is actually very caring and affectionate when in love. As the opposite of Lucifer, Satan has no problems showing his affections through kind gestures and even being open with what he wants.

Seems to care more and be more knowledgeable on human traditions than the other brothers. As shown when all the brothers were dismissive of the mc’s sadness over no new years in the devildom, Satan takes mc on a date and organizes a proper New Years meal.

Possessive like Lucifer, but doesn’t show it. It’s hinted that he would very much like to be mc’s “first”

Him and Belphie share a common ground of disliking Lucifer and often team up to troll him.

Hair and eyes are a mirror of Lucifer. Black hair/Red Eyes - Blond Hair/Blue Eyes

Seems to be a lightweight when it comes to alcohol.

Asmo

Likes to fuck™️

Most likely has standards as to who he beds, but because of his nature is seen as very promiscuous.

A heavyweight when it comes to alcohol.

Is an emotional drunk.

Very confused when it comes to caring about someone over himself. He doesn’t know how to react to it, but is most likely frightened of loosing the one person who cares about them for more than his looks.

Has a big ass bathroom.

Has had a pact with Solomon before he came to the Devildom. The two seems to have known each other a while, as Asmo seems to know that Solomon’s food is disgusting, except to Solomon, himself.

Likes pitch-black shortcake from Hell’s kitchen.

Beel

Despite being the 6th brother he seems to be stronger than any of the others physical wise. (Dunno bout Lucifer) And also has speed that compares to Mammon and Lucifer.

Is actually really sweet and caring when it comes to those he loves.

Belphie “being sent to the human world” hurt Beel the most.

Tends to blame himself when something bad happens that he believe he could have stopped if he would have acted beforehand.

Is apparently friends with most of the restaurant chefs and knows a good bit of their secret recipes.

Isn’t allowed to cook much because he “samples” the food to the point it’s all gone, but when under supervision or has his mind set on it he is actually a good cook.

Actually pretty smart.

Works out a lot and seems to have a checklist of things to work on.

Arguments between him and Belphie don’t last long.

As far as the twins of light and darkness goes & based on their beds. Beel is associated with the light & sun.

Is the more affectionate of the twins.

Belphie

Used to really love Lucifer when they first came to the Devildom.

Has a very flat demeanor most of the time.

Has a mutual partnership with Satan because of their dislike of Lucifer.

Is the more “rational” of the twins. He tends to not let things bother him as much as Beel does and if he does have something bothering him he often addresses it eventually.

Relationship is still estranged with Lucifer

As far as the twins of light and darkness goes & based on their beds. Belphie is associated with darkness & the moon.

Has no problems openly flirting with the mc

Choke first, ask questions later

Probably a very good cuddler.

JJBA (VA) Purge AU (cont)

part 1

(if the layout feels messy, it’s bc im literally brainstorming as i go lol)

since Italy obviously doesn't have Founding Fathers, i've decided that:

- the Purge is an idea from a branch of the government called Arrow

- the idea is that each year an "arrow" will be "shot" (ie the Purge) to "kill off" the suffering & crimes & poverty & general unwanted bs in the world (or just Italy i guess jsgjfhdhd), and then Requiem Italy is post-Purge, or "cleansed" Italy

4. Bucciarati:

i'm pretty torn on Bucci's background. at first i was like "he's gonna be this righteous leader against Arrow," but that's kinda boring and my bruabba braincells were acting up, so:

Bucciarati doesn't need the Purge. he justifies who he kills, and why, himself. the whole thing abt his parents' divorce and his dad's encounter with suspicious people still happened, so he kills to protect his dad (& other innocents when needed).

unfortunately, the suspicious ppl his dad encountered was affiliated with Arrow, and soon they realize that they can't have 1) people going around dirtying Arrow's image (like Bucci's dad), and 2) people who don't see the benefit of the Purge (Bucci who just commits crimes blatantly). so they send people (kinda like Big Daddy's minions in "Purge: Anarchy") to kill off Bucci's dad. Bucci becomes better and better at killing by defending his dad from these oncoming attacks, and he also realizes that Arrow's program is only to benefit the people in power and the rich. plus they aren't even following the rules they preach, and instead just flat out target the Buccis 24/7, since they're only a poor family of two. Bucci refuses to participate in Purges, but kills Arrow soldiers regularly.

and then word gets out to the police. since Bucci is basically a rogue criminal who's managed to evade the law (Arrow can't get rid of him but they can't arrest him either bc then it would be obvious that they're trying to cover up sth sus), the police sends Abbacchio after him in that year's Purge.

side note abt the timeline:

- let's say "that year" is either 2001 (when canon VA happened) or 1/a few years before, i haven't decided

- Giorno probably killed his parents in 2000's Purge

- Fugo & Abba Purge every year so the timeline doesn't mean shit to them :'D

5. Mista:

mmnnggghhhhh im really struggling w Mista & Narancia :'D let's see:

since canonically Bucci recruits Mista for his gunslinging skills, and before he joined Passione Mista was just this guy who was trying to mind his own business, have a good life & maybe do morally good things once in a while

Mista probably doesn't Purge. he's one of those ppl who lockdown at home and just chill while listening to the raging bs outside. he's on the fence about whether Purge actually benefits society or not.

he will become involved with the Purge and the fight with Arrow one day, but i'm starting to come up with a plot for this, so no spoilers ;)

but i will say this: even if Mista happens to be out in the streets during Purge one day, he'll probably be fine purely bc his gunslinging skills are so great.

6. Narancia:

(back to struggling)

Narancia is a rich boi, but neither he or his family enjoys Purging. they either only watch Purges happen like rich elites do, or just lockdown like Mista and doesn't care. but then Narancia's mom died, and his dad's attitude began to change, so Narancia became rebellious and joined a gang (that one with that blond dude that later betrayed him, y'all know what im talking abt). this gang is kinda like that weird-ass creepy gang at the beginning of "Purge: Anarchy," in that they tail ppl around and kills/vandalizes for fun. and Narancia was still just an impressionable young boi with a knack for violence and destruction, so he's like "hell yea hail Purges"

so that's what Nara does, until one day the gang leader (blond dude) gets greedy and orders the gang to do some illegal shit like minutes away from the ending sirens. (oh yeah and he already told Nara to dye his hair so he'd look like him.) and then when the sirens blare, Narancia is stuck behind "committing a crime," so he's put into juvenile jail. in there he has quiet reflection time, and he realizes that Purges do nothing but hurt the weak & vulnerable, and became disgusted at his old way of thinking. so when he was released, he swore off Purging. but ofc his gang isn't happy about that, so they probably come back to terrorize him or some shit. AND his dad probably is deadbeat asf and doesn't even give a shit abt his ex-convict son, so Narancia becomes this scared child out in the streets, living in fear of the next Purge that he sees others preaching about every day.

IM SO TORN IN TERMS OF SHIPPING YALL HAVE NO IDEA, LIKE:

- bruabba?? DEFINITELY HAPPENING i live & breathe for them i love them sm

- giomis? to be completely honest, even when i was watching the anime for the first time, i never felt the same passion for them as other fans seem to :'(

- so im really thinking abt fugio, which will be great cos i already have a scenario abt how they're gonna meet

- but then fugonara comes to torment me, and like, i don't ship naramis either. and i'm like, not everyone has to fall in love. so i'll just have bruabba and fugio??

- but THEN my brain comes up w a scenario for fugonara

- which actually... will work great if their rela is one-sided????? but I'LL BE IN PAIN AND NOBODY LIKES THAT ;_;

let me do my girl Trish and then maybe i'll reveal the scenarios, maybe not ;)

7. Trish:

obv Diavolo is the asshole who runs Arrow and proposed the Purge to the Italian gov first.

in this AU he and Trish will probs have a relationship cos i do be having daddy issues tho and i just need my dad representation ;_; but that don't mean this gna be a good relationship :')

Diavolo's probably also deadbeat asf, but Trish knows this young man, Doppio, who seems to work closely with her father, but unlike many of his colleagues is very sweet to her. the only thing she kinda hates abt him is how he always praise Arrow and the Purge, as if it's the one solution to all the problems in the world.

Trish herself is indifferent towards Purge. she never has to participate anyway, and is never in danger either (bc of her dad obv). but she always feels icky when she has to go to these over-the-top parties where rich people gather to watch the poor & the crazy slaughter each other. but if given the choice, she will probably just turn a blind eye and be a bystander to ppl's suffering, since she isn't sure if she even has enough strength to go against her father.

Trish will also get involved w Bucci and stuff, but i 1) haven't decided how yet, and 2) don't wanna provide spoilers, soooooo

((uwu hi, i really went fanfic on this one)) 4 - Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

Logan hadn’t witnessed it first hand but they had seen the aftermath of the Fall. They saw how things changed after the great war. It was strange to say the least to see how easily people turned and how it was taboo to speak their names or ask anything about them. The Realm learned to heal from it and changed to make sure something like that would never happen again, the higher up archangels got even stricter. For the first few years life was rough especially as Logan grew up and soon was seen to have archangel potential, another thing that has changed them. Ace’s most fundamental change was one that started the snowball of the worst memory. The day Bast took joined the group of unwanted or abandoned demons, Ace was in as a child. That demon is what led to the shy always trying to hide demon that Ace starts out as, until you gain their trust. You would think it would be being thrown from their mother, but Ace can’t remember the events much just reaching out for silky black long hair. Yet the most defining thing was being the subject of such anger and hate for so long from Bast that turned Ace against themself and is what made it hard for the demon to trust and to repress so much.

11 - In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

Logan doesn’t scare easily, it takes a lot to frazzle the angel. Yet there is one person that scares her, Michael. Now normally the archangel doesn’t bother her, they could care less other than making sure they follow orders. Yet as they spend more time in the Devildom and getting closer to the brothers, Logan beings to stray from their orders. She hesitates more with weekly updates to Michael. The lies don’t begin until she’s smitten with Lucifer. Fear ran threw he veins when she began to get feelings, but giving into them and entering a relationship.. She knew what she was doing and what she wanted publicly getting into the relationship, but still deep down fear began to grip at her heart. She was doing something horrible in Celestial eyes. Demon’s were scum and not to be trusted, yet here they were giving their heart willingly to one, and not just any demon Lucifer himself. While they didn’t let it bother them, living in the fact that they were with their lover and family now. They don’t keep in touch with Michael as much, getting hard to lie and cover things up. Real fear runs through them when Michael shows up unannounced. They all had been with Diavolo for dinner, the demon lord insisted on it as his treat. So they went because they got the invite and Lucifer wasn’t going to say no to it. Gathering with the demons to being pulled aside as Barbatos tells them Michael is here for them, waiting in Diavolo’s office, made her freeze. She stopped breathing and broke the glass they were holding in their hand. Logan quickly fled towards the office, ignoring their name being called as they removed small pieces of glass from their hand as Logan went. Heading into the office they were silent and their head was down, their wings coming out as angels always had to have their wings out in the Celestial Realm it was a sign of respect among archangels when visiting to show your wings. Logan coudln’t think straight only think of how much had Michael seen as he came down. Did he see how close she was standing? That her arm was around his? How she looked at him like he was the sun? Thoughts ran through her brain that she didn’t notice Michael yelling their name. Coming back to reality they jumped as Michael slammed the desk. “Are you even listening? Have you gone soft while being here? Logan get it together. You’ve been slacking and that isn’t going to fly. You’re here at his castle. Get closer to him and find out his secrets. I don’t care what you have to do, have to offer. I want you to know what Diavolo is thinking!” Michael yelled at them. Logan could only nod as the archangel sighed. “C’mon, be a good girl and get this mission over with so you can come home and get away from this filth.” “Yes, sir. I understand.” Logan’s voice was small, as they looked up at him. Eyes said determined but on the inside they were shaking. They fucked up and this could have been prevented. They gave up on their mission long ago but now they had to get back to it. They would have to do what Michael wanted. “I’ll be waiting to here from you tonight.” Michael said before a flash of light filled the room and he was gone, back to the Celestial Realm. Logan dropped to their knees, their wings coming to wrap around them. They let themself process the emotions that were running through them. Michael didn’t know anything. They were fine, no one knew. And the angels that did know would never tell. They’d never say a word. It took the angel a moment before collecting themself and heading back out. The explanation was awkward and forced, something they made up on the fly. Throughout the whole thing they forget about their injured hand, letting themself be doted on and taken care of.

What Logan didn’t know is that night everything would come crumbling down. Ace might be a bit of a scary cat yet nothing comes close to their darkest moment. Its a memory that is burned into their mind, one that brought on frequent nightmares and now just every so often it will pop up.

Getting beat up was something Ace was used to, as in their early teens they were used as one often enough. Bast would be angry and Ace was his favorite to hate so Ace got used to getting thrown around a little. Yet being beaten half to death that’s different. All Ace did was stick up for a younger demon, and they got their head bashed onto the hard ground below them. They went under punch after punch, kicks and slams. They felt bones being broken and things popping wrong. They struggled against it trying to stop it yet were no match in strength. They had to suffer every blow against them, coughing and spitting up blood multiple times. Their blood was everywhere on their face, their clothes, the ground, his fists. Ace remember shivering from pain, wincing at how their body moved, as they were thrown against a rock and left there. They choked on their blood until their vision faded to black. Ace figured this is what death feels like, pain and darkness. That was when they were most afraid, being left alone with their blurring and fading vision. Bast hovering over them and beating them to death also plays into it but that their death would’ve gone uncared about and unnoticed also freaked them out. Ace is grateful to have been found and that it didn’t end that way but in the back of their head the thought plays, that they would’ve been alone and it wouldn’t have bothered anyone if they were gone..

19 - What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

Logan’s walls. They are slow to trust and don’t open up easily. It has made a lot of people stop getting close to the angel and Logan doesn’t let it bother her.

Ace’s is similar to Logan but its more that they don’t let anyone close and are extremely shy with new people. They don’t give people a chance to even introduce themselves half the time.

33 - In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

Logan is defensive at first, how dare you! They are used to high praises and getting things perfect. Yet once they overcome that they are willing to improve. The angel can be self-deprecating but only when they are criticizing themself, which is a lot but they try to keep it hidden.

Ace just nods and doesn’t let it bother them. They don’t really care. They will improve if its someone they care about telling them and something major, but mostly they just enjoy life not caring about others.

37 - Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?

Logan falls under the sin of Pride. They hold themselves to very high standards, and higher than most others. They would protect their status. Honor does tie into it as well but its why they are hesitant about some things, and care so much about what Michael would think.

Ace wouldn’t be concerned with either. They only worry about what their family thinks about them and they know its of high value, so they don’t care about status or honor. They are a lower demon living with the highest of high, but they don’t care. They just see family and that’s all that matters to them.

44 - How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it? Logan and “I love you” are two things that don’t mesh well together. A platonic one is way easier to get out of them. Logan is very hard to get to open up and let you be close, so it takes a while for them to feel safe but once they do the words come fast. For the romantic version, it takes longer and with patience they will say the words. They don’t trust themselves to believe their feelings so they hold back, not wanting to get hurt again. So the words come slowly but once they leave her lips for the first time and its returned, the words are said constantly. Ace takes a little time to be able to say it but once they turn you they say it until the words lose all meaning. They always say it to the brothers, since they feel like one of them basically the only one that is different is Lucifer as he’s sorta the father figure, but it’s easily tacked on. For a romantic “I love you” Ace wouldn’t realize the change but how they say it would be different.
