real-life fantasy

pairing: adrian chase x reader

word count: 1,040 (tumblr-exclusive drabble!)

“Have you ever skinny-dipped in the ocean?” you ask contemplatively, chin in your hand, gazing out the window of your hotel room.

“What?” Adrian asks. “Wh— No, that’s— That’s illegal, I can’t do something like that.”

You huff a laugh, though you don’t turn to glance at him. Your eyes are still fixed forward on the water, in the darkness. When the 11th Street Kids had been assigned to a mission on the coast, you hadn’t expected to be literally on the coast, but— here you are. You’re all in a hotel right off the beach; Adrian snuck into your room two minutes after you all got your room keys and went your separate ways.

“You also kill people,” you remind him. “That’s illegal, too.”

Adrian huffs. “That’s different. I’m doing—”

“Yeah, yeah, I know,” you cut him off. You’ve heard all of it before; you know it, you get it. But— you do think he could stand to re-examine some of these strange standards of his, a little bit.

You got him to smoke weed, anyway; you bet you could get him in on this, too.

Adrian hesitates. Then, he asks, in a voice that’s slow for him, “Have— Have you ever— You know? Have you gone and— and—”

“Skinny-dipped,” you finish for him. “Naked.”

“Yes,” he says. “Yeah, th— That, that one.”

Now, you do turn, glancing back at Adrian, curious. “You’ve seen me naked. Like, a shitload of times. You saw me naked twenty minutes a— Fuck, I’m— I’m still mostly naked now! What— What are you shy all of a sudden for?”

Adrian hesitates. There’s such a pleasant flush on his face, pink on his cheeks. He shoves his glasses back up, just for something to do with his eyes, his hands. He’s mostly naked, too, only shoved back into his underwear.

“I just—” Adrian hesitates, then says, “I don’t— Did you do it with somebody else?”

You can’t help the little smile that comes up at that. You love Adrian’s strange little possessive streak, even though he’s self-conscious about it.

“Well,” you tell him. “If I did, it wouldn’t be half as good as it would be with you.”

This time, Adrian’s flush rushes all the way up to the tips of his ears, spreads blotchy down his chest. You laugh, then get up, pushing to cross and join him, climbing back into his lap in bed. You fit your knees on either side of his legs, sitting on his thighs before you duck down to kiss his throat.

His hands surge up to catch your hips, then skate up your waist, pushing up his shirt where it’s riding up on you, now. He bites into the kiss you bring to his lips, then, before drawing away.

“If— If you really— If that’s something you really want—” Adrian starts, then exhales, shakily. “If nobody sees us, it’s not— Not that bad, I guess, is it?”

“No,” you insist, eager to get his agreement. “No, not that bad at all.” You draw up, rolling your hips, grinding down into him, over the half-hard line of his cock. “Not even illegal, really.”

Adrian considers this, for a beat, before he shoves upwards. He nearly stumbles and falls, but he still manages to clamber to his feet, holding onto you, hoisting you up where you’re now wrapped around his chest, his waist, his shoulders.

“Well, fuck,” Adrian says. “If it’s not even really fucking illegal,” which— you don’t know if that’s true, but who cares, really, “I guess it’s fine, who cares?”

He all but shoves open the balcony door. You’re grateful you’re on the ground level, that this hotel is only one floor, so he can push out onto the patio effortlessly.

“I need to actually take this off for—” you start to remind him, and he nearly dumps you in the sand, at the reminder.

As soon as you’re standing on your own, you reach to wrench his shirt up and off of yourself, abandoning it in the sand. You kick off your underwear to join it, reckless, excited. You know nobody’s out here; it’s too late, and this area’s so secluded. If anybody did see you, you could either run right back inside or into the ocean. And—

Honestly, if it gets Adrian’s clothes off and his ass in the ocean, you don’t care what else happens, at this point.

You tug at his waistband once before dancing away from his grasping hands. He reaches out for you, laughing, tries to grab you, but you dart away again, wriggling just away.

“Gotta get your clothes off if you wanna join me,” you tell him, teasing.

“Oh, you— fucking shit,” Adrian laughs right back. You sprint for the water through the thick, warm air; you can hear Adrian huffing behind you as he trips out of his underwear. He abandons it with your clothes, you look back to see, before he’s jogging off after you into the water, through the warm waves of the sea.

“Wow, this isn’t bad,” you say, excited, just as Adrian sprints right at you and sweeps you up off your feet, catching you, spinning you around. “Adrian— We have to get in the water—”

Adrian scoops you up again, bridal-style, splashing through the warm waves to get you into the deeper water. It’s not until he’s in past his waist that he sets you down again, holding onto you so the waves don’t drift you away from him.

“There we go,” you murmur, and Adrian’s already tugging you against him.

“You’re right,” he says, agreeing with such ease, now. “This is— I’m sure this can’t be illegal, this is, just, like— totally natural! Totally normal, this is how it should be—”

You reach down, slick hands gliding over the muscular planes of his chest, down until you dip along his hips. He shoves into you, catches you, kisses you, and you kiss him back, smiling.

“Don’t you want to swim?” you ask, murmuring against his lips.

“Fuck it,” Adrian says. “Close enough,” and drags his hands down over your sides, up your slick chest, over wet, damp skin until he strokes to cup your face and kiss you all over again.

at first i thought jisung, and then felix. let me explain-

you’re quite similar to jisung in that you’re affectionate and make people comfortable, but then thought that those traits would better lead to a friendship. you asked for a romantic ship so i better deliver on that lmao

tbh i feel like you’d “meet” when you receive a random text from an unknown number. it just says on your notifications that it’s a picture and you’re lowkey concerned

but then you open it and it’s a meme lmao

and after about a week of texting, this unknown number realises that it isn’t his friend jisung he’s talking to but rather some random person he’d texted. he apologises profusely and you both get a laugh out of it. he’s got a good taste in memes, what can i say? you reassure him that it’s fine and that you got a good laugh out of it. 

a month and a bit later you suggest you’d like to meet your newfound friend (whose name was felix) in a cafe. he agrees. 

after you meet in the cafe, you get along quite well. this is that good ol’ strangers to friends to lovers going on here. you send memes at 2am, he responds with a meme of his own.

eventually though, uh oh, what is this?? feelings for this lad?? damn

basically y’all do end up dating though and it’s the most wholesome sh-stuff.

he’s probably one of the most affectionate of the lads so you bet you’re gonna get that affection. whether that is holding hands in public or cuddling on your couch at 2am and laughing at tiktoks or something

Aaaaaaaa it took do long to draw this

For the 2nd image I noticed that it was kinda hard to see the hands with all the black that's going on-

So I added a blue magic effect thing to see if it would be better-

OK BUT ALL THAT ASIDE THIS IS ROGUE RICHTOFEN! (Or just Rogue for short)

He is mega bastard

Basically, this AU takes place in a timeline where Stu listens to Richtofen instead of Maxis and Richtofen gets all of his aether bullshit powers bacc to 100%

So he fucking kills everyone-

Then Shadowman is lik "coo, now that you have cool powers and shiz, you can come help me win meh dumbass war - < -"

Rogue Richtofen wuz like

"Naw fam, I good-"

But Shadowman was like

"Bru-...but you need to..."

And Rogue gets all pissed and is like "wait...did you legit just use me to try and win yo war shiz???... actually, fuck you and you dumbass war" and they get in a bit of a fight- eventually Rogue straight up fuken leaves.

He then found a shit ton of Richtofens from other universes who had been fucked over or just generally abused by some other versions of Shadowman. and he decides to start a rebellion against all the different Shadowman's who abuse or abandon Richtofens and their crews. and he tries to help them all and provide a safe place.

Kinda a dumb concept but whatever-

He also has 2 main Richtofen pals that help him with shit- (I mean- one of them helps- the other one is more like...a mascot 🤷‍♀️) Rose and Screwball (I couldn't think of better nicknames for them-) I will talk about them later when I actually draw them- but for now, all I will say is that they are both alternate versions of Richtofen's from 2 of my other 8 fucking AU's but where things go quite wrong-

Also, Rogue still has the tendency to fuck with people and destroy worlds for fun (it's kinda an addiction for him-) and he still has big anger problems- so even though he is doing that one nice thing by helping people he is still quite a huge dick- he also kinda helps Screwball "kidnap" Tanks from worlds that they destroy, but I will talk more about that when I talk about screwball-
