Compared to Adrien, this design was so much harder! I still don’t know what to pick

Trying to pick a favorite character
Well it’s obviously B.O.Y.D I’m all the way deranged about him, but that feels like a bad answer because he’s featured at all in 8 episodes total and two of them are background appearances, and one his just his name. And maybe he isn’t my favorite character, maybe I just like robots?
So I should pick someone more popular? I love Huey, he slays, holy shit, love his autism. I really enjoy Huey, he’s definitely my favorite of the triplets but I’m not entirely sure he can be called my favorite character, just because he’s the superior triplet. I do love him a lot, but I’m not sure if I’m judging him fairly. Especially because he’s voiced by Danny Pudi, who I love.
So I should pick someone in the middle, not too central but with more speaking roles under his belt? Then I pick Gyro Gearloose. He’s the obvious choice, he’s snarky, he’s a little tragic but in a fun way, he’s voiced by Jim Rash and oh no I might not be judging him fairly I like Jim Rash a lot. I enjoy Community. I love Gyro but I don’t know if I would love him that much, I tend to get tired of overly sarcastic and rude characters. Maybe it’s just a sign of how well he’s written, I’m not sure.
Goldie is so hot. She’s cool too, I think she’s a well written character who you’re never supposed to know if you can trust. She’s also hot, and cool. I think her relationship with Scrooge and Louie is very well done, but I don’t know if I can base my favorite character off who I think they work well with. She is hot though.
What about Doofus Drake? He’s objectively the funniest villain in the whole show. I really enjoy the three or so episodes where he’s spotlighted, he really stands out in all of them. That’s especially saying something because B.O.Y.D is in one of those, and he kicks ass. I really enjoy his small arc where Louie tries to befriend him and accidentally gets Doofus to not leave him alone. First by Doofus wanting to be friends and then swearing revenge. What was he gonna do with the umbrella and walnuts?
Also I really enjoy Lil’ Bulb, possibly because I am slight deranged about robots in general, but I also love silent characters who are still super expressive. I love how loyal the Bulb Army ™️ is to their causes (when they aren’t evil). One of them kills itself so that the moon people can’t receive Huey’s transmission, and the one true Lil’ Bulb is willing to defend Gyro almost always and unscrews his head after being commanded to “look after your brother”. But he can’t be my favorite, he just isn’t.
This is a difficult decision.

the thing abt astarion and baldurs gate 3 is that while i do like astarion, hes an interesting character with some cool plots, im fairly neutral on him compared to most of the cast. but. he rolls over a 30 nine times out of ten when lockpicking and disarming traps. which suits my playstyle so well.
when i started playing the game i first tried to regularly swap out characters (habits kept from rpgs where characters not in the party dont level up/dont level up as fast) but i realized pretty fast that the flouncy traumaguy is actually so useful. hes really reliable in battle and he destroys traps and locks with so much ease i just Cant leave him at camp. he disapproves of 95% of what i do bc im trying to smooch karlach this run, but im spending all my gold to put him in schmancy little outfits that keep him from getting one-shotted.
hes my little purse dog. if a purse dog had a gun and a set of lockpicks. sure im allergic to dogs and this dog hates me whenever i open my mouth, but look at him, look at how cute the gun is in his little paws when he snipes mind flayers.

Other people have discussed this more eloquently, but the thing people don't always seem to get about "passing" (think "cis passing" or "straight passing", for instance) is that the concept of "passing" relies on more than just appearance.
Take me for instance, where I do pass as a man, but I have never (and will never) pass as a cishet man. People know I am queer, even if they don't see that I am a trans queer man. Passing is more than wearing certain things or saying certain things. My mannerisms are queer, my speech is queer, my inflection is queer, my stance is queer. People pick up on that. There's nothing wrong with me being seen as queer, but I'm still treated like a queer man, for better and worse. It seems that people forget that, you know?
My point is that passing is very conplex, nuanced, and individual. I use myself as an example, but that by no means indicates that I have a standard experience. I've noticed, however, that many people have over-generalized these conversations, and I think that doesn't do us - as a community - a service.

So.... on the topic of those new charles photos, how like it is that one day engineer charles is so tired from looking at all the data and his eyes are hurting that he forgoes the contact lenses and goes for the glasses. And like once max sees him he just HAS to make the executive decision to never let charles wear contact lenses ever again so they keep disappering somehow from then on??? Maybe im projecting.....
YOU GET IT!! YOU UNDERSTAND!!!
The new Charles photos are now my Roman Empire.
No lie, one of the very first bits of the fic I wrote (to be posted in a later chapter) was Charles in bed going over a data report from the earlier free practices.
He’s wearing his glasses and not thinking much of it, till max gets out of the shower and comes into the room and just…stops. Because he’s seen Charles in Ferrari red, and a Red Bull polo. He’s seen him in hoodies and a suit and in absolutely nothing at all, but he hasn’t seen him with his glasses on yet.
“What?” Charles asks, looking up from the report.
Max has a towel wrapped around his waist and he’s dripping water onto the hotel carpet, the beige material darkening under his feet.
“You wear glasses?” Max chokes out, hands tightening their grip around the material of the towel.
“Yes?” Charles says, still not sure why Max is behaving weirdly. He doesn’t piece it together until Max swallows, adams apple bobbing visibly. Until his eyes darken with an all too familiar expression of want.
He makes sure to forget the contacts more frequently after that.
Also! Max has like an entire photo album of Charles photos and this is definitely one of his most absolute faves:

I know it's a nuanced topic and any breed of dog can be dangerous but every time I see people scare mongering about german shepards I think about the first time I took mine to a dog park and how she was having a blast UNTIL she saw that there was a like, barely 1 y/o mastiff in there, and despite how badly that poor guy wanted to be her friend she had absolutely no idea how to process the very new information that there exist dogs who are bigger than her, and spent the entire time we were there standing on a picnic table looking desperately confused and occasionally whining at me to help her.
