Moose lightly shoved (M/N), which earned him a shove back. But instead of lightly shoving him like Moose had done to him, he shoved him so hard he ended up on the floor. Which caused Matt, Matty, Buzz, and (M/N) all to laugh.

Moose glared at (M/N) as he pulled himself up and back into his seat. “Asshole,” Moose mumbled but it was just loud enough for (M/N) to hear.

The boy in question but on a fake look of offense, “Wow, Moose and thought we were friends.”

“Well after that stunt were definitely not friends anyone,” Moose replied.

“Damn!” (M/N) exclaimed, “well guess I gotta send Vance after you.”

Moose laughed, “Like i’m scared of Vance.”

“Mhm, sure you aren’t,” (M/N) replied.

“Speaking of Vance, Moose what did you do to piss him off today?” Matt asked.

Moose looked at Brunette confused, “What did you mean? I haven’t seen or talked to Vance since fifth period.”

Now it was Matt’s turn to look confused, “What do you mean? He’s glaring at you right now and Robin’s whispering something to him.” Moose along with Matty and Buzz turned to around to see Matt was telling the truth.

Though once Vance’s baby blue eyes locked with (E/C) ones his expression softened. (M/N) smiled at Vance and Vance smiled back. Buzz rolled his eyes, “Oh my god, can’t you two be fags somewhere else?” The ginger asked.

(M/N) quickly turned around to face his brother, “Oh I know you aren’t talking,” The (H/C) boy told his brother, “Because I think we all know what you and Matty are actually doing when you say your studying.”

(M/N) smirked as both boys turned a flushed pink color. “Yeah that’s what I thought.” Before either Buzz or Matty could reply the bell rang signaling the end of lunch. (M/N) quickly said goodbye to friends before making his way over to Vance.

The two walked side-by-side with each other, as they made their way to the cafeteria doors. Neither of them saying a thing until they were outside of the cafeteria, “Why was Moose sitting with you guys?” Vance asked.

(M/N) couldn’t help but roll his eyes, “Is that seriously the first thing you say to me?” The (H/C) boy asked, “Wheres the ‘Hello, (M/N). How are you?’ or ‘Hey babe’?”

“Sorry. Hello (M/N), how are you?” Vance asked.

(M/N) smiled, “I’m good, how are you?”

“I’m good,” Vance replied.

“Good, now what did you wanna ask me?”

“Why was Moose sitting with you guys?” Vance repeated his question from earlier.

“Because he’s friends with Buzz, Matt, and Matty,” (M/N) simply replied.

“Well, I don’t like him being so close to you,” Vance told him.

That’s when hit (M/N) causing him to stop dead in his tracks and turn towards Vance. “You’re jealous!” (M/N) exclaimed.

Vance scoffed, “I am not jealous, I just don’t like Moose,”

“Mhm, sure you aren’t,” (M/N) replied as he started walking again.

“I’m not!” Vance insisted.

“Okay, so you wouldn’t mind the fact that i’m hanging out with Moose after school?” (M/N) asked.

Yes, Vance thought to himself, he would mind. He knew the (TALLER/SHORTER) male wasn’t going to drop it until he admitted so he sighed in defeat, “Fine, I’m jealous,” Vance admitted.

(M/N) smiled at Vance before taking there hands and locking them together, “Firstly, I knew it,” the (H/C) boy smiled at his little victory, “Secondly, you have nothing to be worried about. Nothing is going on between me and Moose, besides your the only guy for me.”

“Good,” Vance replied, “because how imagine how pathetic that would be going from me, a wonderful masterpiece, to whatever the fuck Moose is,”

(M/N) couldn’t help but laughed, “it would be a very extreme downgrade,” (M/N) eyes went wide as they landed on a clock, “shit! We need to hurry up we third seconds to get to the other side of building,”

“Do we really?” Vance asked.

“Yep, all race you there,” (M/N) told him, but before Vance could reply he took off.

Vance shook his head, “Asshole,” he shouted. One of these days that boy was gonna be the death of him.

mads my lovely ❤️ i’m just here to let you know that how you’re feeling is super normal and as someone who legit cried herself to sleep for a WEEK before i turned 30 (then matty sang tbp with us present and i cried again lmao) i promise you that it’s never as bad as it seems! as everyone else has said, your mid-late 20s are the most confusing and overwhelming and truly bewildering years of your life because everyone around you is doing so many different things and are at so many different points in life. i have friends who own houses and are having babies and are self-employed or have super successful careers, and then i have the ones who (like me) still don’t know what the fuck we’re doing. we’re all just winging it to some extent, even those who look like they have it all figured out. i put so much pressure on myself in my 20s to study and pick a career and then realised once i got there that none of it made me happy or fulfilled. it stressed me out so bad because on paper, i’d done everything i should have but it just didn’t feel like any of it was right for me. i spiralled for a bit and then i entered my “trial and error” era as i like to call it, and honestly i’m still in it 5 years later. i’ve just moved job, i’m looking for somewhere new to live, i’m single when most of my friends are in long term relationships and it’s so easy to compare your life, career, relationships, writing, etc to other people but just know that those people are comparing themselves to you to! you are so talented and appreciated on here, and i’m certain in “real life” too. you’ve created a community and friendships and stories and lore that bring people enjoyment and comfort and you should be so proud of that! of course your happiness is paramount and if it’s no longer making you happy, you should feel no obligation to continue for others people sake, but i just wanted to you know that you’re not alone in feeling like this, but it won’t always be this scary, and you are valued and appreciated as a writer and a person and we love you!

As the weeks go past and no news about Vance you always seemed to find yourself here. In the grab n’ go, standing in front of the pinball machine. 1246 the colorful machine read in the bright, flashing, red letters. It was the same high score from the last time you were and the time before that, till the last time Vance ever stepped foot in the grab n’ go.

You had met Vance three years ago, this was the place where you and you’re brother, Robin would meet up after school. You shared a couple class with Vance and decided why not talk to him. It was the best decision of your life, you didn’t know why and neither did he. But someway somehow you two just clicked.

Then the next thing the two of you know, you’re more then friends way more then friends. It best decision until the night the phone rang, you’re uncle was quick to pick it up. The whole entire he was on the phone he looked towards you with a look. A look that was pure sadness, he hung up the phone and kneeled down in front of you. “Lo siento mucho, (Y/N). El agarrador, tomó tu..,” Your uncle didn’t need to finish because you knew. You knew what he meant, you were pulled from your thoughts by the bell which signaled someone was entering the store.

You turned expecting to see your brother only two find three idiots, who went by the names Matty, Matt, and Buzz. They all three looked at you and Buzz sent a glare your way, you just rolled your eyes and turned to look at the clock in the far corner of the store. You frowned when you noticed Robin was thirty minutes late.

Maybe he went home? You thought to yourself. You shrugged you’re shoulders and left the store. Only to get home and find Robin not there. That just added to mix of emotions that currently swelled throughout you’re body. It was mix of anger, sadness, hatred, and fear, they say you can only feel one emotion at time but at that moment you proved them wrong.

Time Skip

As soon as you saw the police cars rush past you on your walk home, you knew. You immediately knew that they found grabber, so you ran as fast as you could following the cars to the house. You looked expecting to see Vance or Robin but you saw no one, you looked around once more until your (E/C) eyes locked with chocolate colored ones.

Those eyes belonging to none other then Finney Blake, your brother’s best friend. He was sat on the curb next to his little sister, you couldn’t quite remember her name. He stared at you for a couple of seconds before standing up and walking over to where you stood on the other side of the police tap.

No one dared to stop him not even his sister, because at point everyone there knew who you were especially the police. You were (Y/N) Arellano, Robin Arellano’s older brother and Vance Hopper’s best friend, you were a bit more then that but you would never corrected anyone. You pulled the police tap over your head and met Finney half way.

“Finney, wheres…,” You looked at him and didn’t finish because that look on his face said it all. The tears that sprung up in his eyes and the look of dread on his face. You quickly wrapped your arms around him pulling him into a tight hug.

“I’m sorry,” he cried. You just shushed him and ran your hand up and down his back in a soothing manner.

“It’s okay kiddo, it’s okay,” you told him. You felt tears pool into your eyes and slowly slide down your face. Finney looked up at you from where his face was buried in your chest.

“They both really loved a lot,” He said. You stared at him in confusion, sure he would know Robin loved you, you were siblings but Vance? You decided not to question it.

“I know they did, Robin loved you a lot too. You were his best friend,” You told the dirty blonde.

He smiled at you as more tears rolled down his cheeks, he buried his face into your chest once more and began full on sobbing. “Shh, it’s okay. There both in a better place,” You told him.

Time Skip

It had been two weeks and yet as you stared at the names on the grave, reading them to yourself you still didn’t believe it. You looked to your left to where Finney was standing, since the day he killed the grabber the two of you had become incredibly close.

You two never seemed to leave each other’s side. People knew when they saw Finney, you were somewhere near. “Can I tell you something?” Finney asked breaking the silence that surrounded the two of you.

“What is it kid?” You asked.

“Promise you won’t think i’m crazy,” Finney didn’t make eye contact with you just staring at Robin’s grave which sat in front of him.

“Promise,” You assured him.

“When I was in the grabber’s basement there was phone. It wasn’t hooked up to anything but it rang and I answered it. I spoke to the victim, the ones the grabber took before me,” Finney still wouldn’t make eye contact with you but stared at the boy. You didn’t think he was crazy you couldn’t because something kinda of clicked in your mind at that moment.

“They both really loved you a lot,”

Maybe that’s how he knew some way or somehow he talked to Vance from beyond the grave. You heard the stories of Mrs. Blake and how she was some psychic, who saw something so bad she offed herself. You never believed it until this moment, Finney began talking again and you weren’t aware he had stopped.

“First I talked to Bruce Yamada, then Billy Showalter, then Bruce again, then Griffin Stagg, then Vance, and finally Robin. My mom was able to see things and so is Gwen, I never got that until that moment the phone rang and I answered. In the mets of Vance threatening me, he told me to tell you he was sorry.

That he didn’t want it to end like this, that was nicest I think i’ve ever heard him speak,” you felt tears gather in your eyes, “Then Robin told me to tell you he loved you and you were the best brother anyone could wish for,” Finally he looked up at you.

But you weren’t looking at him you were looking at Vance and Robin’s graves. “Mis malditos idiotas,” you laughed, “Even when your both dead, you’re always thinking of me,” you blew a kiss to both of the graves, “I’m gonna miss you two,” you told them.

You felt hand on your shoulder and didn’t need to look to know it was Finney, “Mierda, I loved them both so much,” You told him.

“I did too,” Finney replied. You two just stood there for the next hour or so not saying a word just basking in each other’s presences.

i saw the guys in oslo and i’m still so fucking speechless😭 i know people have been complaining that the crowd wasn’t great, we didn’t get the b stage or the satvb sign, they didn’t close the set with people and whatnot but honestly none of that mattered! they were fucking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! matty was so slutty and also did the liiwmi dance which was crazy, we got an acoustic version of be my mistake and they also played the birthday party (i cried like a bitch) i’m so grateful for getting to experience all that. the most fun night i’ve ever had!!!😭😭😭 i’m sure i will be spending at least an entire month crying just thinking about all of that

i think birthday party girly speaks a little bit of french, but not fluently! the little french hangovers in the middle of conversations (there's an "et toi" randomly in part 2 of tbp, for example) are a result of a fairly intense dark academia/classic lit phase you had as a teenager where you tried to incorporate french and latin phrases into conversations to seem wordly and wise lol. in hindsight, it was deeply, deeply pretentious of you, but some of the french responses stuck; matty found this story ridiculously funny and endearing when you first told him it not long after you two became friends, and you inevitably had the bret easton ellis/donna tartt besties convo right after it. matty also found it extremely endearing that you decided to relearn french before you went on the first paris trip with all your friends. he did take the piss out of you a little bit along with the rest of them - "darlin' we're going for a week there's no way you need to relearn the whole language" - but they were all forced to eat their words when a) they had to rely on you to do a solid 85% of the talking while you were away and b) you managed to get special treatment/people to be nicer to you all just because of your linguistic semi-proficiency and pleasant attitude. the day you and matty ended up hanging out together when everyone else went cycling, you remember turning back to him after ordering more wine and cracking jokes with the waitress en français to find him smiling at you in a way you hadn't seen before but immediately knew you wanted to see again (awed. moonstruck. lovingly); you were like "what?", and matty just shook his head slightly and went "you're incredible. that was so sophisticated. kinda hot, actually". and you both just giggled (to be fair, you were tipsy), but your relationship felt slightly different after that - closer, deeper, with a potential to be something more. and i'm also thinking that you speaking french ended up having some pavlovian effect on matty, where every time you'd pepper in a phrase he'd go all heart eyes - well, more so than normal - thinking about the two of you and your little wine drinking friend-date and how he so badly wanted to take you on a romantic one. and also thinking about how hot and smart you are lol. but yeah, you're not fluent-fluent, but you know enough french to both get by in france and make matty go all flustered, which is really all you need to know lmao!! also you're the inspo for the bfiafl album title. it's literally you lol <3

(and according to the scottish qualifications authority, i can speak french lol - i haven't spoken it for about six years, though, so i'm not as good as i was, but i can still read it quite well!)

Hmmm i think tbp!! He’d prob get pretty indignant over the “daddy” part of d word 😭 and im sure i cant find it now but i saw some interview of matty talking about fanfiction and basically making fun of how soft he’s often written so im leaning toward axing flatmate bc of that (even though we literally all know he’s just a hot fudge cream puff)
