Art of attraction

idol!minghao x reader!y/n
🎀 Summary 🎀 : You and Minghao explore an art museum for your first date. As you enjoy the art and talk, your connection grows. By the end, you both realize it's the beginning of something special.

You were standing outside the city's renowned art museum, nervously tapping your foot. It wasn't just any date—it was with Minghao, the guy who'd caught your eye for months. He was charming, intelligent, and had a unique sense of style that set him apart from everyone else. When he suggested visiting the museum, you were excited, but now that you were actually here, the nerves had set in.
"Hey!" Minghao's voice pulled you from your thoughts, and you turned to see him walking toward you, a bright smile on his face. He wore a casual blazer over a simple shirt, looking effortlessly cool. "Sorry I'm late. Traffic was crazy."
"No problem," you replied, trying to sound casual. "I just got here myself."
Minghao led the way into the museum, and you followed, trying to keep your excitement in check. The museum was filled with people, but it was surprisingly quiet. The echoing halls and marble floors gave the place an air of sophistication, and the soft lighting added to the ambiance.
"So, where should we start?" you asked, looking around at the different exhibits.
"Let's check out the contemporary art section," Minghao suggested. "I heard they have a new installation that's pretty cool."
As you walked through the museum, you couldn't help but notice how comfortable Minghao seemed. He pointed out different pieces of art, sharing his thoughts and asking for your opinion. His enthusiasm was infectious, and you found yourself getting lost in the exhibits.
"This one is interesting," Minghao said, stopping in front of a large abstract painting. It was a swirl of colors and shapes, almost hypnotic in its complexity. "What do you think it means?"
You tilted your head, studying the painting. "It looks like chaos at first, but if you look closely, there's a pattern. Like life sometimes it feels chaotic, but there's order if you know where to look."
Minghao smiled. "I like that interpretation," he said. "It's a bit like us, isn't it? We might seem different, but there's a connection."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words. You'd always admired Minghao's way of seeing the world, and now that you were getting to know him better, you realized how much you had in common.
As you moved through the museum, you found yourself enjoying the conversation and the art. Minghao had a way of making even the most abstract pieces feel accessible, and he was genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts. It wasn't just a date—it was an experience, one that you didn't want to end.
After exploring the contemporary art section, you headed to the museum's café for a break. Minghao ordered a couple of drinks, and you found a quiet corner to sit and talk.
"Thanks for coming with me today," he said, taking a sip of his coffee. "I wasn't sure if you'd be interested in a museum date, but I'm glad you came."
"I'm having a great time," you replied, smiling at him. "It's nice to do something different for a change."
Minghao leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful look on his face. "You know, I've always liked art because it's a way to express yourself without words. It's like, you can show people how you feel through colors and shapes, and everyone sees it differently."
"That's what makes it special," you agreed. "Everyone brings their own perspective."
As you talked, you realized how easy it was to be with Minghao. He was thoughtful, kind, and had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the room. You shared stories, laughed at each other's jokes, and discovered new things about each other.
After finishing your drinks, Minghao suggested visiting the museum's sculpture garden. It was a beautiful space, filled with statues and lush greenery. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the garden, and you could hear the distant sound of birds chirping.
"Wow, this place is amazing," you said, admiring the sculptures. Each one seemed to tell a story, frozen in time.
Minghao walked beside you, his hands in his pockets. "It's one of my favorite places in the city," he said. "It's so peaceful, and the art is incredible."
As you wandered through the garden, you found a secluded bench and sat down. The atmosphere was serene, and the fading light gave everything a golden hue. Minghao sat beside you, his shoulder brushing against yours.
"I'm glad we did this," you said, feeling a sense of contentment. "It's been a while since I've had this much fun."
"Me too," Minghao replied, turning to look at you. "I was nervous, honestly. I wasn't sure if you'd enjoy it."
You laughed softly. "I was nervous too. But it's been great."
Minghao's eyes met yours, and for a moment, it felt like the world faded away. The sound of the city, the distant voices—it all disappeared. There was just the two of you, sitting on a bench in a sculpture garden, enjoying the moment.
"Can I ask you something?" Minghao said, his voice gentle.
"Of course," you replied, curious.
"Would you like to go out again sometime? Maybe for dinner or something?" he asked, a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
You smiled, feeling a warmth in your chest. "I'd like that," you said. "I'd like that a lot."
Minghao's smile widened, and he nodded. "Great. It's a date, then."
As you sat together, watching the sun set over the garden, you knew this was just the beginning. It was the start of something special, something that had been building for a while. And as the stars began to appear in the sky, you felt a sense of excitement for what was to come.

not your usual saturday night — x.mh
Tumblr media
pairing. xu minghao x fem!reader
genre. fluff(?)
summary. when saturday rolls around, minghao expects to be sitting in his apartment, all wrapped up in his blankets with a steaming cup of tea beside him. he certainly did not expect to find himself at a damn frat party, holding a can of beer while a girl's breasts are being pushed up in front of him (on accident, of course). never in a million years did he imagine that. but here we are.
warnings. frat party activities mentioned. alcohol consumption.
wc. 1.6k (FUCK IT UP LESGOO)
Tumblr media
minghao huffs out in boredom as he rolls his eyes, unable to tolerate the amount of sweaty bodies around him, yelling and whooping at two people who were grinding up against one another in the living room of the house. to the left of him, he spotted a guy—not any older than minghao is—handing a bag of some kind of white powder (probably drugs) to a younger looking kid, a sophomore at most. along the stairs, he sees two guys making out, their intoxicated smiles and giggles muffled by the blaring music that would probably get the cops here in the next few hours.
so to put it short: not his usual saturday night.
minghao makes a beeline to the kitchen, getting himself a drink from the fridge. he eyes a couple of beers and hard seltzers, and a large bottle of vodka at the bottom. sighing out, he opts for the beer, reaching out for the blue can before he feels a hand on his shoulder. turning his head around, he’s met with the captain of the varsity football team, otherwise known as kim mingyu. but people really prefer to just call him “the tall guy”—not to his face, of course, but who can blame them? the man is literally 6’2.
“minghao? didn’t really take you for a college-frat-parties kinda guy.” mingyu teases, flashing his canine smile at the chinese boy, making the latter just smile and laugh a little. “yeah, i’m really not. seokmin dragged me here.” minghao scratches the back of his head, closing the fridge behind him as he faces mingyu.
“of course he did.” mingyu laughs, patting his back. “alright, i’m gonna join the others in the living room. wanna come?” minghao shakes his head. “no, it’s fine. i’ll just be hanging around here for a bit. it feels really stuffy in there.” mingyu visibly deflates at minghao’s rejection, but he just shrugs, smiling again. “it’s alright. i get what you mean. well, if you wanna join us, we’ll just be chilling there all night.” mingyu says before walking off towards the living room.
“fuck you, seokmin.” minghao curses, cracking open his can of beer before taking a swig of it.
“but it’s my girlfriend’s best friend’s birthday!” seokmin—minghao’s best friend since high school—yells. minghao rolls his eyes at the korean boy’s attempt at getting him to come to just another random party.
“and why do i have to come?” minghao asks, raising his eyebrow.
“i heard the birthday girl is single…” minghao groans as seokmin wiggles his eyebrows at him.
“look, seokmin. i appreciate you being the living version of tinder for me, but i’m not interested in dating, more or less getting involved with anyone at the moment.”
“OH COME ON! please?! give it just ONE chance! if it doesn’t work out, i promise i won’t help your sad, single butt anymore!”
bless his heart for not saying ‘ass’.
and that’s how he ended up in a frat house party with almost half the arts department population in it.
he walks off into the house, trying to find any empty rooms, but in almost every room he looks into, there are people getting high, getting dicked down, or people just hanging out with their friends. finally, he finds a room that’s just occupied by a girl sitting at a desk, the room illuminated by her study lamp.
“hello?” minghao asks as he closes the door, looking around. “hi?” she says back, looking up from her laptop screen. the girl didn’t seem out of place at all. in fact, she was wearing a sparkly green dress that fell off her shoulders, and had a deep neckline. the orange light of the lamp beside her gave the girl a warm glow as she blinked at minghao, who just stood there, before he realises that he’s just been blatantly eyeing down some random girl who was probably trying to get work done.
“oh! uh, i’m sorry, it was just a bit too much out there, so…y’know.” minghao smiles, gesturing towards the room.
“yeah i get it.” the girl says, smiling back at him.
minghao couldn’t help but notice how sober the girl sounded, and maybe also how her voice sounded pretty husky and attractive when it’s resounding off such an empty study room, only filled with a desk, small couch, and empty shelves where textbooks and novels should be.
“you wanna maybe sit down? there should be a couch over there. or i can move to the couch and you can-“
“no! it’s…it’s fine. i’m fine with the couch. thanks.” minghao turns down her offer and goes to sit on the couch.
the two college kids just continue to sit in silence, minghao pulling out his phone and just mindlessly scrolling through his instagram page as the girl continues to work on whatever she was typing away at on her laptop, until she decides to break the silence.
“i’m sorry, it’s probably so awkward. what’s your name?”
“minghao. you?”
“y/n.”
“what major?” minghao asks, putting away his phone as he showed more interest in the conversation than the dog freaking out over a balloon on his phone.
“psych.”
“okay now i’m scared of you.” minghao chuckles, making y/n laugh out loud, shutting her laptop before she leans back.
“i get that a LOT. i just don’t understand why you hate us?!” y/n whines, crossing her arms as her breasts push up, the action making minghao flustered as he looks away.
“i-it’s just that…you guys can like…read our minds! that’s creepy, dude! like if i’m doing a certain action, y’all know what’s going on in our minds and like you know what to do!” minghao throws his arms in the air, accidentally slamming one of them on the shelf behind him. he hisses in pain as he brings down his arm, noticing that he had hit his hand on the sharp edge of the shelf.
“oh shit are you okay?” y/n immediately gets up, rushing over to minghao to hold his arm, turning on the light to get a better look at any damage.
as y/n hovered over him, minghao blushes as he tries to distract himself from the view in front of him: y/n’s chest just being pushed up in front of his face. although hers weren’t as large as some others minghao had seen, he couldn’t lie that they still were just as distracting.
“i-i think i’m okay, y/n.” minghao lowly mutters, making the girl notice their position. she immediately pulls away, pulling up her bodycon dress over her chest as she looks down, mumbling an apology.
instead of saying anything, minghao pats the empty spot beside him on the couch, the two once again sitting in silence before speaking out his thoughts.
“you know what, this party is kinda boring. you wanna like, go over to my place, or we can hang out at yours?” minghao speaks up, looking at y/n, to which she looks stunned.
“i’m sorry, what?”
“i…i just asked…if you wanna…go to my…place…’cause this party is…boring.” minghao just quietly trails off as the girl stares back at him, a dejected yet amused look in her eyes.
“this is…this is my birthday party.” y/n says, making minghao’s eyes go wide.
“oh. OH. OH I AM SO SORRY-“
“it’s fine, my best friend planned the entire thing. i guess she used my birthday as an excuse to party, to be honest. she’s probably making out with her suckass boyfriend. what’s his name again? seok…what? seokjin?”
“it’s seokmin.”
“that’s the one!”
“...he’s my friend.”
“oh…oh shit i’m so sorry, i didn’t–” minghao shakes his head as he laughs softly, his eyes forming into crescents as the ends crinkle. “no, no you’re good. he really does suck up to her like no tomorrow. it’s so sickening sometimes.” minghao brushes it off, making the girl soften at his nature.
“i guess we’re both even on accidentally insulting the wrong party.” minghao starts giggling, his laugh sounding more like a pretty twinkle in her ears, and y/n finds herself being entranced by the way minghao’s eyes form crescents when he smiles widely, and the way his teeth look so perfect and cute as he beams. the way–
y/n snaps out of her little trance when minghao snaps his fingers in front of her, making her blink twice before apologising, flustered at how she was just caught staring at probably one of the prettiest guys she’s ever seen since she stepped foot into campus.
“i was just saying that those two—seokmin and your friend—are just like each other.” minghao gestures towards the door behind y/n, making her chuckle as she nods in agreement.
“they really are, it’s crazy.” she agrees, laughing at herself as she distracts herself by playing with her fingers, trying to ignore the heat creeping into her cheeks. “funny enough, seokmin was trying to set me up with you, playing all cupid or whatever.” minghao chuckles, making the girl’s eyes widen.
“no way! hyejin was going to set me up with you too! saying that you would be just my type and shit!” y/n gasps, throwing her arm onto minghao’s shoulder, making the poor guy freeze and hyperfixate on the way her touch made him shiver (in a good way, of course). clearing his throat, minghao speaks up.
“i’m your type?” he wiggles his eyebrows, making the girl bashfully look away as she retreats her hand, smiling to herself. before she can say anything, minghao grabs a hold of her hand again, grasping it firmly. “if i’m your type, then do you want to go on a date with me? because you seem like my type too, y/n.” minghao smiles with reassurance, squeezing her hand for comfort.
the silence prolongs before y/n smiles again.
“yes, i would love that, minghao.”

Ding dong. The sound of the ringing doorbell rang out through the apartment, and Dahyun roused herself from the couch with a pounding headache. It had been yet another night of drinking to drown the web of feelings confined within your mind, and after 9 bottles of soju between the three of you, she had the most raging hangover she’s ever experienced as she stumbled to the door. The insistent visitor rang the doorbell three more times before she finally opened up, eyes narrowed in annoyance.
“For christ’s sake- oh. Good morning.” Minghao waited at the door, hands buried deep in his pockets and a skeptical look in his eyes. He looked like a mess. Against his better judgment, he had stayed out a bit too late last night, and Vernon, once entirely inebriated, had been of no help to aid his conscience in his drunken state.
“It’s 1:00 in the afternoon. I don’t think that counts as the morning anymore.” He said with a hint of amusement in his tone. “Is y/n here?”
“No.” Dahyun shook her head without missing a beat. A moment of silence passed between the two of them before he raised a brow.
“You’re lying.”
“No I’m not.”
“Yes you are.” Dahyun crossed her arms.
“How do you know?” he sighed, removing his hands from his pockets and placing them on his hips instead, a look of vehement exasperation on his face.
“Because I can hear her snoring on the couch.” Dahyun unfolded her arms with a sigh, opening the door further to allow him inside, and he stepped inside with a victorious, albeit bittersweet, smile.
You were dead asleep, eyes shut and mouth barely parted as soft snores escaped her lips. He approached your side with a soft look in his eyes, brushing a few stray strands of hair from your eyes.
“C’mon, angel. Wake up.” he mumbled quietly, a hand grazing against your cheek. Dahyun made herself scarce. As enthusiastic as she was about your love life, she felt this was something that needed to be discussed in private without her interference.
You groaned, head throbbing as your vision cleared, your lids feeling like lead weight upon your eyes. For a moment you thought you must be dreaming; the angelic boy before you was supposed to be at home, crying his eyes out over a bottle of wine with your brother or drowning his sorrows in alcohol and seas of beautiful women. Not invading your best friend’s apartment while you were experiencing one hell of a hangover and looked like someone had dunked you in a bucket of makeup remover.
“Hao?” you grumbled, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes as you sat up.
Minghao’s eyes and lips were swollen with sleep and the remainder of his hangover. His red hair was tousled upon his head, and he was dressed in a muscle tee and sweatpants, looking as though he hadn’t slept a wink. He looked like hell, but it didn’t matter; he looked the most beautiful you’d ever seen him.
“Morning, sunshine.” he grinned. You didn’t answer. “Aw, don’t tell me you’re still mad at me.” You grumbled inaudibly, ruffling your knotty hair and wishing you had cleaned up a bit more before you passed out the night before.
“I’m not mad.” you said, very unconvincingly.
“I don’t believe that.” he mumbled, brushing your hair out of your face from where it was matted against your sweaty forehead. You were shining in the afternoon light, in your magnificent post-drunk glow. To some, you must’ve looked quite messy, but to him, you looked stunning. “I think you’re still upset.” You had an awfully hard time thinking when he was running his hand up and down your back and kneading your skin softly. Your head began to fog when he rested his hand on your lower back, tracing spirals along your exposed skin as he stared at you with clear, doe eyes.
Clearly your words hadn’t gotten through to him at all, and you weren’t sure whether you should be pleased or miffed that he had increased his affection tenfold.
“I’m not upset.” you cleared your throat, avoiding his eyes.
“Then will you go on a drive with me?” he suggested, and you balked.
Sure, you had been ready to finally confront your emotions, but being forced within a three foot proximity from the boy you may have feelings for and admitting it to his face was biting off more than you could chew. But you couldn’t refuse him anything when he looked at you like that, like he must just break if you denied him.
“Alright.” you caved, and he smiled softly, standing up and offering you his hand. You had to fight back a smile as you got to your feet, ignoring his hand and striding past him, not daring to look back and see the disappointed frown on his face.
If Minghao wasn’t serious about you, you didn’t want to give him ideas. You’re not his plaything and vice versa; being close doesn’t mean he can treat you like his girlfriend without the commitment.
You were determined not to be vulnerable anymore. You weren’t just Junhui’s little sister, you were a grown woman, and you could take care of yourself.
The car ride was tense, as expected. Minghao was awfully focused on driving to whatever destination he was looking for, and you weren’t sure whether it was your job to break the ice or not. You chose the comfort of silence, resting your chin upon your palm and looking out the window at the sight of the city streets melding into blocks of color in the rushing wind.
“We should talk.” Minghao finally said, turning a corner with a sharp spin of the driving wheel. City gave way to sea as he drove down a path to the beach, the paved road lining the soft, peachy sand. You watched with wonder at the stark contrast to where you were just moments before.
“Talk about what?” you avoided the topic shamelessly. After a breath of silence, Minghao sighed and tightened his grip on the wheel.
“Do you remember the first time you held my hand?” he asked.
“Why would I?” He didn’t seem wounded, just focusing on the drive silently.
“It was when you were in 6th grade.” he said without missing a beat. “It was your first day at middle school in Korea, and you were terrified. Junhui was sick and couldn’t walk you in, and you almost peed yourself at the front gate.”
“Thanks for the reminder.” you grumbled as he chuckled under his breath. You remembered. You would be lying if you said you didn’t.
“You saw me coming, and just ran at me. Clutched my hand like the world was ending. You didn’t give a shit that I was with my friends.” You crossed your arms and slumped a bit lower in your seat. “Vernon made fun of me all day.”
“My apologies for causing friction between you and your boyfriends.” you bit back, and he only laughed. “What’s with the sudden blast from the past?”
“I liked it.” he admitted, ignoring your inquiry. “I liked it when you held my hand. Even if we were only teenagers, I wouldn’t admit it to myself.” You softened considerably, tearing your eyes from the window to look at the boy sitting beside you.
“Yeah. I liked it too.” you said tenderly. You were sure he wouldn’t admit it if confronted, but you were certain you saw the corner of his mouth twitch upward.
“Just a week ago, you held my hand for the second time. And you know what?” he took his hand off the wheel for a moment to brush it over yours. “I think I liked it more than the first.” His eyes tore into you like knives, and while you desperately didn’t want to look at him, you couldn’t look away. “Y/n, I’ve liked you for a very, very long time. And I’ve never admitted it to anyone, not even to myself.” You were stunned into silence.
“...You liked me?”
“I told you, that night at the diner. I had a girl in my heart, one I couldn’t get rid of as much as I tried to forget her, one that consumed my mind and heart in its entirety and wouldn’t relinquish it. That was you, you know. It’s always been you.” Tears sprang in the corners of your eyes, and you rubbed them away with your sleeve.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” you whispered, voice almost too weak to be heard.
“Jesus y/n, you’re my best friend’s little sister. I couldn’t do that to you. We never could’ve been together while you were under your brother’s care, and I didn’t want to make you hide. You deserved to go out and date, to have fun and find someone who would treat you right. Mingyu swept you off your feet in senior year.”
“Hao,” you almost laughed with incredulousness. “If I knew you would’ve given me the time of day, do you even think I’d have dated Mingyu in the first place?” He pulled the car into park, mere feet from the sand as his eyes scanned you, bemused.
“You loved him.”
“Of course I did. And I’ll love a million people in my lifetime, but that doesn’t mean that you’re not at the back of my mind, and that I don’t love you the most of all.”
His hands were on you before you could think, and the kiss contained the words you couldn’t say, the ones you had been bottling up for years, repressed and festering in your broken, wounded hearts. Minghao unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned over the console to get closer, one arm wrapping around your waist as his free hand gripped your hair. Tears were running down your faces, and you weren’t sure whether they were yours or his, the tears mingling on your faces and running down your jaws. The first time you kissed Minghao, everything happened too fast. You didn’t have time to think, your mind was clouded and you were angry. But now you had time, time to realize all the little things you loved about kissing him.
He tasted sweet, like the cherry chapstick he used and a hint of red wine. It was exhilarating, and you couldn’t get enough of it, your lips parting and sighing as he carded his hand through your hair, tugging you closer as he parted from you to quickly press a hot, open mouthed kiss to your jaw. His hands tightened its grip on your waist when you pulled him back in, throwing your arms around your neck and wishing there wasn’t a separator between him, wishing you had the energy to crawl into his lap and hold him flush to you until there wasn’t an inch of space between you.
The two of you parted, lips swollen and with a dreamy haze in your eyes, and even after you both moved away, he tugged you closer to him to pull you into another kiss, like he couldn’t keep his hands off you and his lips off yours. You were intoxicating, and he wanted to drink you in until he couldn’t anymore, he wanted to run his hands over you and feel your skin until you disappeared within his grasp. He was sick with love for you, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to get better just yet.
All you cared about was kissing each other, with none of the hesitance that was there the first time. It was rushed, messy, and glorious.
“I love you, Wen Y/n. I want to shout from every rooftop in the city until all of Seoul knows how much I love you.” You pressed a chaste kiss to his lips, your hand wandering down his damp cheek with a smile on your face.
“I love you too, Xu Minghao. More than you’ll ever know.”
Minghao wasn’t a man of many smiles. He often preferred a silent sort of stoicness; he typically used his smiles sparingly, they were few and far between. But when you told him you loved him, his mouth raised and his lips spread into the biggest smile you had ever seen on his precious face, one that hurt his cheeks and shone like the sun had gone out. And it was for you, and only for you.
He kissed your knuckles with a mischievous grin, hiding his simpering mouth under the skin of your hand.
“Your brother is going to kill me.”

You and Minghao had been sneaking around together for two weeks now.
Your relationship consisted of walks to campus together, late night drives, and kisses stolen while Junhui was distracted with whatever was on the tv. Junhui was suspicious at first of how eager Minghao was to come over whenever possible, but after a cheesy excuse about how important their friendship was, he softened up a bit.
But while the adrenaline rush you got from kissing your boyfriend in secret like the Juliet to his Romeo was exciting on occasion, you wanted a real relationship. You wanted him to parade you around and show you off, for him to scream to the world that you were his and he was insanely in love with you, and would lasso the moon and bring it down to Earth if you wanted.
Minghao would’ve happily retrieved the moon for you if you asked for it, but telling your brother that he wanted to be with you for the rest of his life seemed like a considerably harder task. In fact, he was beginning to prefer the moon option.
“You tell him.”
“No, you tell him.”
“You’re his goddamn sister, why do I have to do it?”
“Fuck you, Minghao. I’m not doing it. Grow some balls.”
“I have a very fine set of balls and they do absolutely nothing to aid me in eradicating the fear of your brother’s wrath.” you wrinkled your nose. The two of you had been arguing for a solid 5 minutes as Jun cooked in the kitchen and hummed peacefully, the both of you wondering who would approach him first to break the news of your blooming relationship. Safe to say, neither of you wanted to do it.
“You could absolutely beat him in a fight, I don’t know what you’re worried about. Also, I did not need to hear that much information about your balls.”
“You brought it up. And I don’t want to fight Junhui.”
“It’s for love, dickhead. Now go beat up my brother.” He glared at you, to which you petulantly stuck out your tongue. Witty repartee was a part of your relationship, cultivated over many years of love-fueled bickering.
“Who wants dinner?” Jun asked cheerily, revealing a freshly made tray of zhajiangmian piled up in a heap of sizzling noodles on a white platter. As delicious as the food looked, you had no appetite.
Your brother’s cooking was one thing that could always satiate you; it lifted your mood when you were sad and always left you feeling satisfied. He was an excellent cook, but eating sounded like the last thing you wanted to do, not when you were imagining all the possible outcomes to this conversation and your boyfriend was looking at you like you had just ran over his cat.
“...Me?” Minghao offered weakly when neither of you responded for an awkwardly long time. Junhui’s eyes were already narrowed in suspicion as he doled out a serving of the wheat noodles onto the younger boy’s plate.
The energy of the table was something unfamiliar to him. It no longer felt familial like it used to, it felt more like a candle lit dinner involving a perpetual third wheel, and he suddenly became aware of the close proximity between you and his best friend. He was almost certain that Minghao’s hand was on your thigh, but he waited to blow his top as he sensed there was an important topic of conversation wafting in the air.
“Is something wrong?” Junhui raised a brow. You shifted in your seat uncomfortably, giving him a furtive glance as you finally caved and decided you would tell Junhui the news yourself.
“We-”
“I’m desperately in love with your sister.” Minghao said with a straight face, words spilling out before you could even stop him. A moment of silence passed, strained and painful, the suspense driving you both insane. The tension snapped when Junhui left out a laugh, serving his own portion of the home-cooked food onto his own plate.
“Funny. You always bullshit me with that joke when you have something to hide.”
“I’m serious.” he insisted. Junhui gave him a scathing look.
“That’s not funny.”
“I’m not joking.” Minghao said without missing a beat, not an ounce of hesitance in his eyes. You had absolutely no clue what to do to resolve the situation, just quietly waiting for Junhui’s response, for him to finally blow up.
“...You’re serious?” Minghao placed his hand on top of yours, a firm resolve evident in his stony eyes.
“I’m serious.” It would’ve seemed to a passerby that the two were having a staring contest as Junhui looked blankly at his best friend, confused and unblinking. When he looked at you to find that you were looking firmly at the table, realization set in, and he gripped at the pair of chopsticks in his hand.
“Xu Minghao, you are lucky I don’t have a knife in my hand.” he said quietly. “Because if I did, I’d be gutting you from top to bottom and flipping you inside out like a pillow case.” The both of you gulped in response, the visual not at all pleasant. Then he stood up, fingers still tightly clamped on the pair of wooden sticks in his hand. “I suppose chopsticks will have to do.”
You barely were able to talk your brother down from gouging your boyfriend’s eyes out with a pair of dull chopsticks. After a few minutes of tussling and a particularly nasty shouting match, Minghao was being dragged into your brother’s bedroom by the back of his shirt like a stubborn child being put into time out, the door slammed shut behind them.
“I can’t believe you.”
“I know, and I’m sorry.”
“My sister? Really?” Junhui scoffed with disbelief. “You better be serious about her. Because if you’re just fucking around I swear-”
“I’m not. I’m serious as can be.” Minghao swore. “I love her with all my being, Jun. And I waited so long to be with her, I think my heart might burst if I spend another day without her.” Jun crossed his arms, staring at him piercingly.
“You’re not good enough for her.”
“Who’s better for her than me?” “Nobody is. Nobody is good enough for her.”
“I know, Jun, I know that she deserves the world. But I want to be good enough for her. I want to be better for her.” Minghao pleaded, hands clasped and shaking. “Please, Jun. You know I won’t break her heart.”
Junhui contemplated silently, his jaw set and his eyes narrowed at the boy before him. He might hate the thought of his best friend dating his sister, but he couldn’t deny his  sincerity. Minghao would love you more than anyone you could ever be with, and Jun knew that better than anyone. He would never break your heart; he was likely the only boy who would treat it with the care it deserved.
The begrudging boy offered his hand, and Minghao accepted it eagerly, practically bouncing on the tip of his toes with excitement.
“Fine. You can date her. I know you’re the best for her.” Junhui grumbled reluctantly. “But if I ever hear you hurt her, I swear-”
“I would deserve the beating.” Minghao nodded with a grin, and Junhui gave him one last look before waving him off, a growing smile on his lips.
“I’ll do more than just beat you. Now go. I need some time.” The younger of the two beamed brighter than the sun itself, tripping over himself to open the door to the bedroom and rush back out to the dining room where you were waiting, anxious and your imagination simply running wild, driving you insane at guessing what your brother’s response would be. Your fingers strummed compulsively on the table, rapping on the wood until you looked up with a start when Minghao rushed into the room. You leapt to your feet, rushing into his arms and gripping his hands.
“What’d he say?” you pressed with fervent curiosity. Minghao didn’t give a verbal response, he simply broke out into a beaming grin that told you all you needed to know. You shrieked in delight, and he lifted you into his arms, twirling you in a circle thrice before releasing you back onto the ground. “I can’t believe it.”
“Let’s get out of here, angel.” he said excitedly.
“To where?”
“Anywhere we want. Japan, Hawaii, Bora Bora, we could go anywhere!” he yelled, arms spread wide in rapture and elation as you giggled. He gripped your hands, sparkles in his shining eyes. “Pack your bags! Let’s skip town!”
“Minghao, you know we can’t. We have class tomorrow.”
“Class? Who gives two shits about class!” he roared. You didn’t think you had ever seen him this riled up, not in all your many years of knowing him. “I’m in love with you! I’ve got no time to spare for class! Let’s go while the night is still young!” You stood stock still for a moment in rapid contemplation, before jumping in place and dashing off into your room to collect all the money you owned and a suitcase stuffed with items messily thrown into its cavernous compartments.
And that’s how you ended up going on vacation in the middle of the second semester.

Turns out that Bora Bora was unfortunately a bit too unreasonable for the bank account of two broke college students. You had $700.35 between the two of you, and even that was a stretch, considering a fourth of that was your funds to survive the rest of the month and your various bills. But the season was still warm and sunny, and Jeju Island was a perfectly affordable destination that did nicely for the two of you. You had a friend there who was more than willing to lend her guest house to you for a while, with the promise that you’d make this relationship really last, which she told you with a wink. And you were more than willing to do that.
Your honeymoon stage was still thriving and raging, and you spent a solid week and a half laying on the crystal beaches in strappy bikinis and losing yourself in the love between you and your boyfriend.
Mingyu never let you wear bikinis when you went to the beach. They were for his eyes only, and you hated that the gorgeous swimsuits were rotting uselessly in your closet. But when asked his opinion, Minghao said you looked insanely sexy, and he would be a madman if he didn’t want to show off his beautiful girlfriend. You swore you had never felt more like kissing him until he couldn’t breathe, which is what you did, tangled up on the powder soft sand with stupid smiles on your faces, kissing feverishly until a parent came up to complain about respect for public boundaries.
It was the most wonderful time in your life. You felt like you were on cloud nine, and a lightning bolt straight from God couldn’t take you down.
Of course, your brother was furious when he found out that Minghao had whisked you away to an island for over a week, and he thought you were dead until you sent him a two word text telling him you were alive and well, in less words. But he got over it after a few well placed phone calls consisting of how much you appreciated him as a brother.
You didn’t want it to end. You wished that you could spend eternity on that island, happy and basking under the sun of spring with Minghao at your side. You knew you were moving fast, but it felt much too slow altogether, and suddenly you were picturing a cottage by the sea with three kids, you tending to your peach trees while he painted, toes in the sand and the sunny rays kissing his skin.
But all good things come to an end, and after six sternly worded emails from your professor, you decided it might be a good decision to return to class before your teachers brought you into the attendance office.
“You two look absolutely ridiculous.” Minghao slurped the water from a fresh coconut, a neon green straw protruding from its top with a little cocktail umbrella dangling over the edge, shrugging the comment off nonchalantly. Vernon eyed you up and down, his arms crossed as he scanned you skeptically. “Why are you both wearing Hawaiian shirts?”
“Relax, baby. We’re matching.” he said, gesturing between the two of you and your matching gaudy Hawaiian shirts, yours an ugly shade of red and his an ugly shade of blue. Vernon looked at him with utter bewilderment.
“Are you on glue?”
“Island life.” you shrugged, a floppy beach hat perched on your head.
“Easy. You went to Jeju, not Maui.” Mina scoffed as she passed by, knocking on the back of your head with her fist, and you glared scathingly after her.
“Shhh, they’re in love.” Chaeyoung whispered as the older girl shook her head disapprovingly, but the smile on her face gave her away. You tugged Minghao as if to pull him away, and he ushered you onward, pulling Vernon aside for a moment.
“Vern,” he started, emotion swimming in his brown eyes. “Thanks for setting up that date. Oddly enough, I think it was exactly what we needed.” Vernon grinned.
“I expect your first born to be named after me.” he chuckled, slapping him on the back. “Now go be with your girlfriend.” Minghao nodded, turning on his heel.
His hand was tightly clutching yours, and you swung your arms back and forth like a seesaw, stupid lovesick grins on your faces that couldn’t possibly be held back. You looked like two fools in love, and you supposed you were.
You were idiots, but you were idiots together, and that was all that mattered.
“They look stupid.” Mina whispered fondly.
“Yes, but they look happy.” Vernon said with a ghost of a smile on his lips. “The few times I talked to Hao before this whole ordeal, he had a resting bitch face like I’d never seen, and he barely said two words to me. And those were usually ‘fuck off’.” The two girls laughed at the truth of his statement. It was undeniable, the two of you looked happier than they had ever seen you before.
“You think they’ll last?” Chaeyoung whispered under her breath, a worried expression on her pretty face. A moment of silence passed between the group before they all broke out in smiles.
“Yeah. I think they will.” Mina said, straightening up as she watched the two of you walk away, hands intertwined and still swaying like a swing on a playground creaking in the summer breeze.

An earth-shaking knock practically rattled the window frames as a visitor pounded on your door, impatiently and insistently banging for a lengthy amount of time. Minghao grumbled from his place at the dining table, setting down his paintbrush to stand and face the querulous stranger at the door.
“Hello- Oh, for God’s sake.” he muttered. Vernon clutched a basket of fruit in his arms, as the door swung open to reveal a wide and dopey grin on his handsome face.
“I brought you a fruit basket.”
“Bribery, I’m assuming, to get my wife to cook you dinner?”
“Aw, c’mon Hao. I never get to see the kids anymore. You’re such a goddamn hermit.” the boy complained. His chestnut hair was now bleached into a lighter blond, his eyebrows slit on the edges and his face considerably more mature than years before.
“Language.” Minghao reprimanded, and Vernon pushed his way past the obstinate man and set the basket of fruit on the coffee table. “Vernon, this is my home!”
“Oh for Christ’s sake, give it a rest, Minghao.” you called, laughing in amusement at Minghao’s distress as you rushed into the room with your arms spread out in an embrace. “Vernon, give me a hug before I tackle you.”
“As you wish, m’lady.” he said playfully, pulling you into his arms and pressing a kiss to your cheek. “How’s it possible that you look younger every time I come over?”
“You flatter me.” you laughed again, slapping him on the arm before running back to the kitchen. “Hao, can you set the table for me?” He approached you gently, wrapping his arm around your waist from the back and pressing a kiss to your cheek.
“Anything for you, love.” While Minghao rushed off to distribute plates amongst the hungry diners, two children came running into the room, one clutching a doll and the other holding a book tightly, little fingers gripping at its pages.
Vernon hummed, ruffling the hair of the oldest, the boy, “What’s up, Vernon Jr.”
“That’s not my name.” he said with a disgruntled look.
“Shoulda been.” he said, dropping onto the carpet, giving a pointed look at Minghao, who ignored him, hunched over his half painted canvas. He turned his attention to the second child, who was fully immersed in her book. “What book are you reading, kiddo?” The little girl looked up at him with a blank look, similar to one of a scholar looking down on their intellectual inferior.
“Great Expectations.” Vernon snorted, jabbing a thumb.
“She takes after you, Hao.”
“Shut up, Vernon.” he said with a careful stroke of his paintbrush.
A banging sound came from the back of the house as the door to the nursery flew open, a frazzled boy in his early thirties striding across the room with a sleeping baby in his arms, his hair mussed and a wild look in his eyes.
“Y/n, I don’t think I was cut out to be an uncle.” Junhui sighed, setting the baby down gently in their cradle before noticing the presence of the blond in his company. “Vernon? God, I haven’t seen you in forever!” The two greeted each other with a friendly hug, laughing in the revelry of two friends finally seeing each other after years apart.
“I heard you’ve been busy with your acting gig. Our very own Jun.” Vernon complimented, and Junhui beamed with pride.
“Yeah, it's been going well! Can’t complain.” He shrugged, taking a seat at the dinner table, the younger boy joining him in the seat beside him. Your oldest boy leaped into Vernon’s lap, and he petted the top of his hair while he listened to your brother make casual conversation, Minghao chiming in every once in a while to drop a witty one-liner or some well placed praise.
“Dinner is served.” you finally said, sliding steaming trays of food onto the table, adorning the wood with platters like a feast; peking duck, cucumber salad, dumplings of all kinds, and a pile of black bean noodles that made every mouth water in anticipation.
“Thank you, y/n.” the table chorused gratefully, the youngest guests replacing your name with mom instead. Minghao ran a hand up and down your arm, leaning close to press a sweet, lingering kiss to your jaw.
“Thank you, angel.” he whispered. It was funny that after so many years together, that nickname still gave you butterflies like the first time he used it. You pressed a chaste kiss to his cheek as your family began to dig in, happily serving food for each other and sharing plates, fighting for the best pieces of duck, your children kissing up to their father to get more noodles.
As your husband bickered with your brother over the juiciest slice of peking duck, and Minghao desperately tried not to transfer paint onto your favorite dishes, you couldn’t help but feel like you were falling more in love with life with every day that went by. You had never believed that one day you would be waking up in the same bed as the love of your life, the man who snored in his sleep and always denied it, who would wake up in the morning and let you kiss him endlessly no matter how bad your breath smelled. The man you were desperately in love with, who was desperately in love with you. But it was no longer a dream; it was a reality. Your reality, and you wouldn’t change a single thing about it.
Dinner ended, Junhui collapsed in bed the minute the clock struck 9, Vernon needed to return to his girlfriend and the children grew fussy and went to bed. The house grew quiet and serene, drenched in moonlight as the sounds of the sea soothed you into silence. When Minghao sat on the couch, his arms open and waiting to hold you, you brought out the last dish of the night with a delighted grin. Two glasses of red wine and a fresh peach, cut straight from the tree outside.
Those peaches, oddly enough, always bloomed in spring.

- ᡣ𐭩 his favourite girl
you were his favourite girl, baking him a cake so pretty and all
starring: Husband Mingyu x curly-haired female reader
synopsis: you had decided to wear his favourite dress of yours a maxi dress that loosely hugged the curve of your waist with flower embroidery that had a cleavage just how he likes it, wearing your pretty curls naturally just how he likes it, he could see your white lacy bra strap with bows (his favourite lingerie set) just how he likes it and you did your makeup just how he likes it.
tags: smut, fluff, female anatomy, reader wears makeup, dresses, female pronouns and just very feminine presenting, oral and penetrative sex (female receiving), pet names (favourite girl, sweet girl, my pretty, honey, good girl, sweet and mingu), slight degradation (my pretty little whore), mentions of food, intentional lowercase.
notes: sorry for my in-activity, i literally had a dream about this, i had to pick which seventeen member i had to do mingyu because like me and him have the same birthday. (but reader and him don’t) also i meant for it to come out on his birthday but i had my own party and celebrations (actually im full of shit i just had a massive motivation drop and a severe case of writers block)
you had heard the turn of mingyu’s key against the apartment lock, you had turned of all the lights in the flat, the only light was the candles on the cake that you baked for your husband. you had made sure to make this birthday perfect, you had made a cake of his favourite flavour vanilla (eventhough he’s anything but that), wrote a really sweet card and had prepared his favourite food and movie in the living room.
“angel i’m home” you were hiding underneath the kitchen island but it still gave you a hidden view of mingyu who was looking around confused seemingly searching for you, he flicked on the corridor light switch, “angel where are you?” you waited until he was walking to your bedroom to stand up still hearing his confused calls for you, “happy birthday to you.” you started to sing, his adorable puppy smile illuminating his handsome face “oh sweet girl, you didn’t have to do this, did you bake this?” you slowly nodded your head, he clapped his hand with his fanged grin “happy birthday dear mingyu, happy birthday to you,” you push the cake closer to his face “come on birthday boy make a wish.” he leaned his neck closer to the cake and blew his 27 shaped candles out and quietly muttered something to himself.
you slowly set the cake on the dinner table and handed mingyu the card you had handwritten for him, he scanned the card with an adoring smile and nothing but love harbouring in his eyes. he placed the card next to the cake and glanced at your excited figure then he pulled you into his arms and looked down at your pretty face then he quickly pecked your soft berry coloured lipstick lathered lips but after the happiness waned he looked down at you and lust started to grow.
he was slowly growing hard, you had decided to wear his favourite dress of yours a maxi dress that loosely hugged the curve of your waist with flower embroidery that had a cleavage just how he likes it, wearing your pretty curls naturally just how he likes it, he could see your white lacy bra strap with bows (his favourite lingerie set) just how he likes it and you did your makeup just how he likes it.
while he was still in his horny daze you had grabbed by his wrist and guided him to the living room and showed him your little buffet he was oddly not devouring the food like he would usually do but he still praised you immensely. you both settled on the couch and started watching the movie.
in the middle of the movie your sweet husband started pecking up your neck and chin, you moaned “m’mingu” meanwhile he softly sucked on your ear-lobe “mm my pretty, couldn’t keep my hands off of you yeah, my favourite girl baking me a cake so pretty and all,” mingyu slipped your dress off and exposed your soft skin, to the cold breeze.
you had let out a sharp gasp as you were getting used to the cold ‘so pretty, my wife’ his mouth wandered to your cleavage kissing up your chest, thats when he undoes your bra clasp, revealing the flesh of your pretty tits, he sucked on your right nipple sloppily while pinching and fondling your left breast, moving back and forth never leaving one unattended.
‘aahh fuck’ mingyu had now begun moving towards your soaking wet sex. he slowly removes your laced panties, leaving you completely bare. ‘my sweet girl, always so good for me’ he praised in-between your plush thighs, you moaned wantonly when his tongue licked up your walls.
“dear fucking god mingyu’ you barley mustered up, arching your back off the sofa. you grabbed onto his hair steering his head towards your clit, “fucking love how you taste” mingyu groaned the vibrations only edging you on.
you looked down to see your husband furrowing his eyebrows seemingly devoted to making you cum, you began whimpering, only for your husband to quicken his pace ravishing you.
you start to feel a knot in your stomach coming undone, before you could warn your lover, you reach your point of ecstasy. mingyu is helping you riding out your high by sucking on your sensitive nub.
your husband moaned as he made a show for you sucking his fingers, then he brought his thumb to your mouth “suck my pretty” you licked up his thumb sucking it clean, “good girl”.
“mingu, need you” you murmured, “need me, im right here sweet” mingyu chuckled “you know what i mean” you complained “no i dont angel, im gonna need you to be more specific” “dear god mingyu, i need you to fuck me” you wanted to slap that cocky smile off his face “see angel that was all you had to say”.
mingyu began lining his fully hard cock to your cunt “you okay sweet” you love how caring and loving your husband is its one of the reasons you fell in love with him but now wasnt the time “minguuu” you lightly slapped his bicep to encourage him, your husband chuckled “ i was just checking in” thats when he began to push into your cunt.
he let out the most guttural moan “fucksake” he threw his head back. eventhough you guys have been married for 2 years now, he still cant believe that he was the one you blessed with the privilege of pleasuring you every single night and to see you in the writhes of pleasure every night still never fails to amaze him.
you began to beg him to move, clenching around him “angel if you keep on clenching around me like that ill finish embarrassingly early” after that mingyu slowly moved out of you and pushed back into you slowly building a rhythm.
you moaned loudly, and mingyu swore he almost cummed. your lover lowered his head to your neck sucking on it creating pretty little marks then he lowered his mouth to your tits creating more marks. “uhh faster faster please” mingyu grabbed your hips then he pushed faster into you, “love you so much, my pretty little whore begging for my cock” mingyu praised “ my pretty little whore” mingyu emphasised while slowly flicking up your sensitive clit, “say it” you furrowed your brows “say your my pretty little whore” mingyu was glaring into your eyes, his eyes hooded with lust and adoration “ im your pretty little whore, only yours” mingyu groaned quickening his pace “ im close minguu” “yeah, im close too sweet” mingyu lowered his head to kiss you and you swore it was like a taste of heaven. you grabbed his shoulder to oush him back onto your chest and moved your hands to his neck, kissing him with a different type of fervour and that familiar feeling in your lower abdomen.
you started to roll your hips while making out with mingyu, who had begun to pull out of your mouth to breathe leaving a sloppy mess. you repeated your lovers name like it was the only thing you knew.
“come for me angel, cream on my cock” and that was the straw that broke the camels back, in a slurry of profanity and ‘mingyus’ your husband filled you up with his babies. mingyu helped the both of you ride out your highs. afterwards mingyu cockwarmed you for a few minutes then mingyu picked you up leaving the sticky mess and brought you to the shower while you both giggled.

Summary: You always had trouble finding love, but that never bothered you as you like to be independent. You had opened a cafe on Main Street all by yourself and was things were going great without a boyfriend so you simply thought “who needs a boyfriend anyways?” ? But that changed once you had met the man of everyone’s dream, Yoon Jeonghan.
Notes: I'm finally cured from write block, and I felt like writing something else besides "Puppy Love' but dont worry I haven't abandoned it, like I promised it's coming back in may but till then please enjoy this short series!
Warnings: Cursing and thats really it…
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Order for Michaela!" Your voice boomed over the chattering of your customers. It was a Friday and you hadn't had the least of doubt that it was going to be busy that morning. You opened up a cozy cafe on Main street with your best friend, Lee Seokmin, who you've known since Highschool, and your part timers, Kim Chaewon and Lee Sohee who have also been with you since the store had first opened. "y/n I'm gonna clock out in a bit ok?" Chaewon taps on your shoulder and you give her a slight nod. You continue to serve and take orders till closing time, were you, Seokmin, and Sohee were closing up the shop. "Imma head out first, see ya'll tomorrow!" Seokmin flashes his signature golden smile while walking out the front door, waving us goodbye. You and Sohee finish cleaning up the cafe shortly after Seokmin's depature and make your way towards your apartment complex "You know Yoon Jeonghan?" Sohee speaks up "No..?" You reply "Of course you don't your a fuckin old hag" Sohee says with a sigh, continuing to scroll through his phone "God, you kids are so disrespectful now a days" You scoff, grabbing a hold of his neck and tug at the back of his neck, causing him to yell out in pain "thats what you get you brat" you chuckle, Sohee takes a few steps away from you, for safety measures. "But like I was saying, He's apparently coming to New York to film a drama" He says, a hint of excitement laced through his voice "Sohee, New York is big, what are the possibilities that he's going to be filming anywhere near main street?" Sohee lets out a sigh at your down putting response "Wow thanks alot." His tone sarcastic. You both make it to your apartment complex before parting ways. You open the door to your apartment and immedtaly throw your bag to the side and remove your shoes. Your quick to change into your pajamas and brush you teeth etc. You got into bed, ready to go to sleep when your phone buzzes. "He might start filming this week" Read the text Sohee had sent you. You let out a "tsk" in response and simply send him a thumbs up emoji before heading to bed.
The next morning you changed into your usually work attire, a simple white button up with a pair of cream colored dress pants. You wear your favorite pair of white sneakers and grab your bag before leaving your apartment. Once you make it to the front of your apartmen Sohee is already outside, waiting for you. Sohee lives only a few stories apove your apartment, which was also how you had met him before the opening of your cafe. You and Sohee begin the short walk over to your cafe. Both you and Sohee's phones light up from a text sent in your groupchat. "What the hell is going on" Chaewon had sent with a photo of a bunch of vans and camera and people crowding main street "What's happening?" Sohee only shrugs in response as you continue your way to work, only a little faster this time. Once you had arrived at the cafe both Chaewon and Seokmin rushed up to the two of you "Whats going on?" Sohee asks, glaring over at the chaos to the left of the cafe "I think there filming something" Seokmin says, pointing out that the people who were rushing around were all wearing shirts that read "Staff" on the back. With that, Sohee gasps, catching you all off guard "Yoon Jeonghan!" He shrieks and you all whip your head over towards the set to see a beautiful man with long luscious black hair that reached down to about his shoulder and a tall and slender build. His aura soft yet powerful, his delicate features complimenting everything about him. “Wow.." he truly looked like an angel. "god he's beautiful" Chaewon's mouth basically hanging open as she watches the beautiful man "I told you!" Sohee shakes you out of your trance. "Ok guys let's just open up the shop, alright?" You fumble through your bag to find the keys to the store.
Today was even more busy then it had been yesterday and the four of you definitely all knew why. Yoon Jeonghan. But you didn't mind, after all it was just bring you in more money. The day went by quickly, people rushing in and out, customers complaining, and so one. Basically another normal day just five times more hectic. You begin to clean up around the store when you hear the bells from the front door go off "Welcome!" You shout, turning your customers service voice back on. You place the broom down and turn around, your eyes widen at the site in front of you. Yoon Jeonghan simply standing there, glancing over the menu above you. His hair put up into a ponytail, his bangs slightly coming undone in front of his face. You quickly fix yourself before rushing over to the cashier "What would you recommend?" His fixes his glance down to you, making eye contact. You immediately look down towards the register, feeling flustered. "Depends on what you like" You shrug, clearing your throat and looking back up at him and he nods "Maybe something sweet?" He says "How about a Vanilla latte?" You suggest "I'll take whatever you suggest" The beautiful man says, a small smirk on his lips. "Alright that will be $4.45" The man pulls out his card and hands it to you, which you swipe it through the reader "Your order will be out in a few minutes" You flash him a smile and he returns it "Take your time" You immediately get to work on his order when Chaewon and Sohee both come rushing to your side from the supply room "No way that just happened" Chaewon grabs onto your arm all giddy. "I think he wants you" Sohee giggles, shaking you for the second time today "Ya'll are too much, just go finish closing up" You roll your eyes and the two giggle before rushing off into the back. You place the cap on his order and place it on the pick-up table "Sir your order is ready" You call out and his head snaps up from his phone. He gets up and picks up the coffee giving you a smile "Thank you" his voice so sweet your heart was filled with warmth "Of course, please enjoy!" You return the smile. You watch as he walks towards the door and you turn back around to turn off the lights "Oh and also sorry for the bother outside" You turn around and Jeonghan is still standing there by the door. He points outside to the Vans and people by the side of your cafe "Don't worry about it, good luck on your shoot" Jeonghan takes one more look towards your before heading out. You turn off the lights and pack up. Once you walk out Sohee is there again, waiting for you "god he's so beautiful.." You let out a sigh, sensing a rant coming up "And first of all, This was the first time I've ever seen you flustered in like what 4 years which is actually insane" And just like that Sohee's rant began "I was so shocked you like never show any emotions besides like anger and just being calm I guess.” Sohee pauses and look at you for a second "I mean I'm not calling you some heartless freak but you kinda are" You roll your eyes at the kids honest statement "AND the way he looked at you, HELLO? That shit was for sure love at first sight" Sohee giggles like a middle school fangirl at the last part "Ok bud.." You say with sarcasm and he laughs "No I'm being serious, he was definitely tryna get your attention" Sohee begins once again "I'll take whatever you suggest" Sohee says, mimicking what Jeonghan had said earlier "I mean come on, he was definitely flirting" Sohee scoffs a bit at your at your very little knowledge of romance "First of all, I wasn't flustered and second he wasn't flirting he literally just didnt know what to get" You say but Sohee shakes his head. The two of you reach your apartment complex and say your goodnights before heading your separate ways. You enter your apartment and get ready to sleep, the thoughts of earlier replaying in your head and you giggle at the thought of what Sohee had said "What the hell.." You mumble to yourself. "What's up with you today?' You thought to yourself but you were to tired to think to much of it and just went to bed.

Y/n was dreading the meeting she walked through the front doors of the sorority for this afternoon, the pageant. Kappa and all the other sororities on Greek row participated in what they call ‘Hot or Not’ every year since supposedly the 1980’s something her now head sister Heather claims was started by the legacy that was her mother. Which maybe was true, but y/n could never figure out why it mattered? And while it was fun it was a little bit old school.
“Hey, girls. Everyone settled in? We have a very exciting tradition here at Kappa as you may know.”
The cheers rang through the sitting room, with its white walls, pale pink carpets, and sherpa couches, the cheers and claps of girls hoping Heather draws their name from the glass bowl with her perfectly manicured finger tips.
“Yes. It’s so exciting, we have a few new faces so since you haven’t been a part of this week in past years we left you out of the bowl, but we will have many things for you to participate in this week. Like dine and dash, our famous Good as Gold party, and of course judging the competition at the end of the week. Before we get to the drawing, I wanted to congratulate our last year's winner, Suni. Give it up for her.”
Smiling, y/n clapped along with the other girls, giving Suni her flowers. About to step out behind the two french doors to grab a water or something to drink, when you hear Heather call your name loudly. All of your other sisters and friends spinning around watching her looking like she was attempting to escape the reality of her name being the one chosen after three years of getting out of it.
“y/n! Finally, Come back here, girly.”
Walking through the clapping crown y/n took her place next to the blonde and pretended to smile with excitement as her gut was telling her it was absolutely the worst day of her life.
The only reason y/n was in this sorority was to get extra college credits, that and Heather and her mother met here and have been friends since that very day. Heather was obsessed with being a legacy and clawing her way to the top of the food chain at the university. Y/n was just there for the ride.
“Everyone, you all obviously know my very good friend and our smartest sister, y/n. I personally have been waiting for the day she got chosen out of this bowl. It’s something our moms, co-vp’s of their 1980’s class of Kappas have been talking about for years. So I’m just as excited as I’m sure y/n is to be our guiding light to another victory this year. Anything to say, y/n?”
“Uh, not really, you said it all.”
Another big fake smile appeared on her face. Laughing and giggling at all the congratulations coming her way.
“Girls, before we enjoy our lunch. Don’t forget tonight is dine and dash, please find your dates and bring them to Carol’s Diner at 8pm. See you there.”
Checking the time on your phone you had roughly 45 minutes before your lecture and enough time to take off the gaudy Kappa logo’d sweater you had to put on for what Heather calls “official business.”
“Y/n what are you checking the time for? We have a lot to do today.”
“I have a class in 40 minutes, I have to go back and change.”
“I don’t get why you won't just move back in here with us?”
“I told you, Heather. I can't. I have to focus on getting into Med School and no offense to you or the other girls, but this isn’t exactly the best place for me to focus when I have to study.”
“Med School can wait just one day right? We have to set up the table at Carol’s and set up for the party later. Would you mind going with the new girl Sam to grab the alcohol? And then you can meet me back here and we will go to the diner together. I’m going to have the girls go out and look for some Nottie’s for you today before that whale from Delta picks them all up. “
“No, but-”
“Thank you! Love you!”
“Also her name is not Sam, It’s Soyeon.”
“Okay got it, toodleoo.”
Searching the house for the person and so called new girl, Sam you stumbled upon her sitting out on the back patio writing in her journal.
“Soyeon?”
“Oh, hey y/n.
“Hey, sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you.”
“No, you didn’t. I’m just so used to everyone calling me Sam I forget people know that it’s actually not.”
“Yeah, it took Heather a whole year to not call Suni, Sunny and everyone just kind of follows her suit.”
“I thought you had class? I didn’t know you were still here.”
“I do. It’s just a lecture on the importance of mammograms and breast cancer research so, I guess it’s okay. I can just find it somewhere online.”
“Ready to head out?”
“Would you hate me if we stopped at my dorm? I cannot wear this fucking sweater for more than an hour or I may spontaneously combust.”
“Yeah, I don’t want to be seen with you in public while you’re wearing that.”
“I appreciate your honesty.”
“You should.”
Y/n and Soyeon escaped the general excitement of the rest of the girls by escaping out the outdoor gate and walked viciously together to change the heinous sweater on y/n’s back.
Turning the corner to finally reach the hall her single dorm room lived at the end of, she ran into a tall boy who’s books scattered all across the floor, a boy she had never once run into literally and physically.
“I'm so sorry.”
“No, no I’m sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was going.”
“You’re y/n right?”
“Yes? Why?”
“Oh, no. Nothing like that. I live across the hall from you. I see your name tag on your door all the time and all the photos of you from all your friends. Which now that I’m talking makes me sound like even more of a weirdo? I’m sorry. I’m Seokmin, my friends call me DK or Dokyeom , whatever. And now I’m rambling, please stop me.”
“No, you’re okay. Can we at least just get off the floor now?”
“Yes.”
Seokmin or Dokyeom whatever his real name actually is, crawled off the floor and stuck his hand out to you for assistance pulling your pink colored body off the floor.
“This is my friend, Soyeon.”
“Sorority sisters?”
“Wait. How’d you know? Oh, fuck the sweater. Don’t tell anyone you saw me wearing this, I know where you live.”
“Don’t worry, I never will. But, sorry to uh, cut this meeting short I have to get to class. I’ll see you again, I’m sure. Bye, nice meeting you y/n. And you too, Soyeon.”
“Bye.”
In unison you and Soyeon watched the tall boy walk towards the elevators. Both of you have differing expressions of looks on your face, one of pure enjoyment watching the awkward interaction and one of pure dumbfoundedness.
“He’s cute.”
Soyeon brought you out of staring at the boy walking away and stepping into the elevator, throwing his fingers up waving goodbye while clutching his mounds of books in his hands.
“What?”
“I said he’s cute and he’s your neighbor. Lucky girl.”
“Oh. Yeah, I can’t believe I’ve never met him before.”
“Why don’t you ask him out?”
“We just met. Plus, I’m busy with school and now this stupid pageant. I don’t have time for cute boys.”
“I’m sure you can make it work.”
Unlocking your door and letting Soyeon in before you so you can sneak a peek at his front door in front of yours. Plain, just a few funny messages and cute stickers of tangerines and tigers pasted on his whiteboard. Maybe he already has a girlfriend? But a boy like that with that many books is probably much like you and had no time for dating.
“Wait. Y/N your room is so nice? Maybe I should move out of the house. It’s loud as fuck anyway.”
“Why are you in the sorority? I’m not judging because I was basically dragged into it too. I’m just curious?”
“My mom always wanted me to join. She said it’s a good way to find friends, I always had a hard time making them. So I figured why not?”
“Got it. Makes sense.”
“What about you? You also don’t serve sorority girl to me.”
“Because my mom also got me to join, that’s actually how I know Heather. Our moms were co-captains of the sorority at some point in the 80’s.”
“Oh, so you’ve known her your whole life?”
“Mhm.”
“No offense or anything, but she’s… kind of a bitch.”
“Kind of? It’s only gotten worse since she’s been in charge. She was okay when we were younger, but you know.”
Slipping out of your jeans and sweater, you threw on a black pair of pleated pants and a loose white button down.
“Also you have tattoos and a sick body, stop dressing like an old woman.”
“I could never pull off what you wear? You’re so cool and confident.”
“Promise me. One party this year you’ll let me pick out something to wear?”
“Okay.”
“You’re very trusting.”
“What? You’re going to make me wear a hot pink dress and try to dye my hair blonde too?”
“Hell no.”
“Exactly.”
Hours passed on as you were getting to know Soyeon more, a part of you realized what you had been missing meeting girls outside of your own circle at school.
People who share your interests and enjoy talking about things other than clothes, shoes, and boys.
It was actually the least stressed you’ve been around someone at the sorority in a long time. Almost like a breath of fresh air.
Getting out of the Uber you took filled to the brim with alcohol and snacks, you were back at the big White House at the end of the street. Not a flaw in sight. Almost like it wasn’t a real reality.
“Should we ditch the diner? We could always go see my friend play at the bar across campus instead?”
“I would love nothing more, but Heather will have my head shaved or something.”
“Okay, well when we ditch later we can head there.”
“It’s a date.”
“Ew, you’re so corny. Save it for your new lover boy across the hall.”
“Shut up.”
Soyeon and you laughed, dragging the last box up the stairs into the foyer of the house. Met with the blonde at the bottom of the stairs.
“There you guys are! I was going to send a search and rescue team to come for you if you didn’t show up soon.”
“We got a little distracted. Sorry.”
“No problem. You’re here now, Sam go up and get ready, I’ll help y/n from here.”
“Okay.”
Soyeon or Sam, picked her poison and shoved down Heather still calling her by the wrong name and walked up to her room to change and get ready for the rest of her night. While you were stuck unpacking the boxes.
“Y/n. Don’t forget to look out for the boys everyone brings tonight. We can pick one from the litter for your Nottie.”
“Look, Heather-“
“I know what you’re going to say and don’t even think about asking me if you can drop out of the pageant, okay?”
“I just don’t think it’s worth it or fair anymore, why don’t we just get the other frat guys to do it? Like Mingyu or Wonwoo, Johnny? I don’t know. I don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.”
“You raise a good point. And it gives me an idea.”
“Which is?”
“We have the other frats competing too, we’ll get more payout and the three uglies will be more profitable than ever for us. You’re so smart.”
“That’s not wha-“
“Ah! I’m so lucky to have you. I’ll let everyone know.”
Heather bounced off into the other room, texting rapidly with her manicured hands on her cell phone, making the fire bigger.
With your head spinning around and around you don’t even remember walking your way to the diner waiting for the freshman girls to bring their guys along to the large table set for someone’s embarrassment.
Taking a seat near the end of the table next to Soyeon and Heather on your other side, you sat and sipped at the Diet Coke in front of you, feeling your mix of anxiety and angel swirling in your stomach and begging for something a little stronger.
“Are you feeling okay?”
Soyeon leaned over and whispered into your ear, seeing the look on your face and noticing your obvious quietness.
“I’ll tell you after.”
“Okay, if you want to go early, let me know.”
“I will”
Heather had her vulture eyes on, waiting to see which she would inevitably have embarrassed by the groups around you with no remorse.
She looked into your eyes and signaled to a cute shy boy across the table, sitting and picking at his nails, making it clear she had made her mark.
“Let me use the bathroom first okay?”
“Yeah, of course. You wouldn’t want to miss it.”
“Right.”
Walking briskly into the old blue stalls in the bathroom, which you didn't even really have to use, but just needed an excuse to go somewhere and release your anxiety.
“Y/n? Hey. Y/n?”
Seeing Soyeon’s platform heels under the bottom of the stall door you jumped up and swung your head out of the blue metal.
“What?”
“Remember that guy you met today?”
“Yes, of course why?”
“He’s here.”
“Someone brought him?”
“No. He’s here with his two friends and Heather invited them to the table. One of them is that dude that’s friends with Mingyu with the that acts like a tiger, the hot nerdy one, and the other one is just some hot short buff guy, never seen him before. Anyway, We either have to get out of here right now or stay and hide in here until they're gone.” L
“Why don’t we just go-“
“No. I don’t want him to think you’re a bitch? Are you crazy? You can’t go dunking on nerds in front of three hot dudes?”
“Okay let’s go.”
As the two of you tried to make your exit from the ladies room you heard commotion outside in the dining room, so you both slipped back quickly into the bathroom, locking the door for some reason as you head the chairs scooting and the bell ringing meaning people were slipping out on one of the boys at the table.
“You think they're gone?”
“Yeah. I hear the sink running in the men’s room, come on.”
As you walked out of the bathroom in front of you Seokmin was sitting at the table covered in a turkey club sandwich looking at the long tab Heather left for him.
“Hey, what are you doing here?”
“Your ‘sisters’ dumped a sandwich on me and left the tab? Do you guys do this a lot?”
“It’s just some stupid shit Heather came up with when she became president. Me and y/n were hiding in the bathroom so we could come and pay the tab. But, you got to it first.”
“Right.”
Not saying anything and standing in your tracks cold, you watched as Soyeon took the check from his hands and waved you on to help him as she went up to pay.
“She dumped her food on you?”
“Yeah, my friends and I were just coming for takeout. I saw Soyeon so I went to say hi and she wanted to come get you. But the blonde girl,”
“Heather.”
“Yeah, Heather. She told me to sit down for a second and my friends went back to their dorm so they could keep studying and deliver food to some other guys. She was okay at first, but once Soyeon left she dumped her soda and sandwich on me and when I came back they were all gone.”
“I’m so sorry? Let me get you dry cleaning money or something.”
“No, don’t worry about it. I can handle it. I’m glad you two were here though, I don’t have my wallet on me. Are you okay though? Have you been crying?”
“I’m fine, just had a moment.”
The small black haired girl popped back over, tucking her card back into her wallet and smiling at the two of you sitting and talking with Seokmin covered in an orange beverage, a little bit of lettuce stuck in his hair.
“Want to come to a party?”
“If it’s at the sorority then sorry, no thanks.”
“No. It’s just some of my friends from the music department. They’re playing a show at O’Malley’s.”
“I don’t think orange soda is really a good look for a party.”
“That’s okay, y/n has to go change too. You guys just meet me there? I’m going to head out and get us a table.”
“Well I do owe you guys both a drink. So, sure.”
“Oh, and Seokmin?”
“Yeah?”
“Make sure y/n actually comes back out, she’s hard to get her hands on.”
“Of course.”
Walking back to your somewhat shared dorm, you and Seokmin walked in silence past greek row, watching all the girls running around to get ready for a greeting ceremony to the frat houses as escorts to their party.
The boy looked at you up and down, imagining you inside one of those grand houses gossiping and dishing on sister life just trying to figure out why you joined in the first place, your friend included.
Reaching your destination with only smiles and small giggles shared between the two of you on the walk over, you both slid into your dorm rooms and found clothes that were far more suitable for a night out.
You noticed the black tank top Soyeon had pointed out before and slid it on, matching it with a pair of dark ripped jeans and your go-to loafers, sliding back into the hallway, finding Seokmin on the other side of the door waiting for you.
He was somehow on your wavelength wearing an oversized black t-shirt and jeans.
“I figured I should try to match Soyeon's aesthetic somehow.”
“Me too. You look nice, I like your shoes.”
“Thank you.”
“Shall we?”
“Yes. I definitely need a drink.”
“So, y/n what is your drink of choice.”
“Anything strong and not sweet.”
“Oh, so not me then.”
“Shut up.”
Seokmin made you laugh, there was no way a boy like him was not taken or at least could be interested in you.
“Have you and Soyeon been friends for long? You guys seem close.”
“Actually, not really. We hung out for the first time today. I mean, I’ve seen her at parties and stuff, but she’s sort of been like a breath of fresh air for me.”
“Really? I’m surprised by that. Why are you in the sorority anyway? You don’t exactly have the same.. Vibe? Or whatever as the other girls. Especially the ones I met today.”
“My mom. The girl. Heather. Soda spiller, her mom and mine were friends when we were kids, they're legacy members. So I just thought it would be fun, but now.. I don’t feel that way.”
“Can’t you just quit?”
“I guess.”
“Why don’t you want to?”
“I guess I just want to be someone who sees things through. I also can’t offer Heather the satisfaction of knowing I left.”
“She really is that bad huh?”
“Worse. It’s a long story. Can we table it?”
“Of course.”
Reaching the door of the bar, you caught a glimpse of Soyeon’s shoulder tattoo near the stage, through the large crowd of people mingling.
“Go. I’ll order us drinks and meet you there?”
“You sure?”
“You said you needed it right?”
“What about your wallet?”
“Apple pay, y/n. Duh.”
“Your ID?”
“My friend is the bartender, just go.”
“So sassy.”
Walking your way through the crowd by pushing yourself through other bodies you finally reach the girl on the other side and wrap your arm around her waist as a hello.
“What the- Oh my god, you actually came? You look so hot. I’m proud.”
“Sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“It’s fine. Where’s the puppy?”
“At the bar grabbing drinks.”
“On the leash already? You’re good.”
“No. He’s just nice.”
“True. But, he also likes you.”
“I don’t think it’s like that, but maybe someday you’ll tell me I told you so.”
“I look forward to it. I saved you guys a table.”
“My girl.”
Soyeon gestured her long manicured fingers behind you, noticing the boy making his way with two glasses in his hands and another tall figure following behind him holding a tray with various things on top.
“Hi, Soyeon.”
“Hi, Keom. Thank you for joining us. Who’s the glasses?”
“My friend Wonwoo, he works here, well he just got off. Is it cool if he joins us?”
“Of course.”
“Nice to meet you, Wonwoo. I’m y/n.”
“Hey.”
“So. Since I didn’t get to ask Soyeon what she wanted and I wasn’t entirely sure what you liked. We brought over options. But, we have to finish them all because Wonwoo was nice enough to gift them to us and it’s unfair to not accept gifts.”
“Very charming.”
You made your second flirty comment of the night to Seokmin, even though your sober self normally isn’t entirely as bold as you find yourself being with him now. But, in all fairness you were just trying to catch his vibe. He didn’t respond verbally, but just scrunched his nose in your direction almost as if he was letting you know that he’s interested.
“First, a simple vodka soda, little lemon, then just a couple of beer options, this is a sour, this is just a simple light beer, and an ipa, which ew, but I think Wonwoo likes, some tequila shots and some lemon drop shots, also a whiskey soda and a jack and coke, and then a uh, gin and tonic i think? Right, Woo?”
“Yeah, maybe you should be the bartender, Seokmin.”
“I have other talents.”
All eight of your hands reach every which way around the table and end up with different drinks sat in front of them, you beelined for the vodka and the sour beer, Soyeon went for the whiskey soda and the tequila, Seokmin for the gin and tonic and light beer, and Wonwoo for the jack and coke and the ipa.
“Who wants what shot?”
Soyeon dipped her arm back to the middle of the table covering her eyes with her opposite hand, grabbing a hold of the small glasses very carefully and placing them around the small group.
“There. Decided for you, me and Wonwoo get tequila and you and Seokmin get lemon.”
Smiling widely at your friend next to you, you grabbed a hold of the shot glass and held it up signaling everyone to cheers. Which they all happily obliged.
Soon after the alcohol was going through your bloodstream the band started playing their music that hit you right in the chest, songs about living your life to the fullest and choosing your own path, much to your surprise Soyeon was the one who wrote the music that spoke to your soul.
After the set ended, Wonwoo and Soyeon wanted to stay back and have a few more drinks to congratulate their friends, and enjoy their night, but you were beat thinking about all the work you still had to do over the weekend and dreading the choice of man Heather would embarrass. So you decided to leave with Seokmin walking you back safely to your dorm.
“What are you studying again?”
“Me? Oh, I’m studying to be a veterinarian.”
“Wow really? That’s cool, I didn’t know. You must be busy as hell.”
“I’m sure you’re just as busy, being a doctor for actual humans is way more complicated considering a lot of them are assholes.”
“That’s unfortunately true. But, I love it to be honest. I can understand why people are afraid of the hospital and surgery I guess.”
“That’s good, maybe we should study together sometime? I know it’s not the same exact thing or whatever, but it’s nice to have company?”
“I would love that, tomorrow? I mean if you’re free. We can go to the coffee shop or library or anything really?”
“Yeah, just knock around 10?”
“Okay. Cool. I’ll see you tomorrow??”
“Yes, absolutely. Have a good night, y/n”
“You too, Seok.”
Trying to get comfortable in your bed, some pesky person kept lighting up your phone screen, reaching over to turn on do not disturb you and realized it was Heather. She was asking a bunch of interrogating questions about your new friend Seokmin, begging you to bring him over tomorrow.
Unfortunately for you, you knew her interest in him was about to make your new relationship a very complicated one.

SVT Jun and Minghao as your FwB
jun: i think he would want it, but would try his best not to act on it, until it gets too much and its speaking up on this to you. he's shy and doesn't know how to talk to you about it, but he can't keep it to himself anymore. once you're in it, i don't think his that touchy or jealous even, actually he doesn't care lmaooao you're there to fuck and that's all its going to be, your friendship stays pretty much the same.
minghao: once he wants this, he will talk to you because he can't stand keeping it, he needs an answer either to move on or to hopefully act on it. in contrast with jun, i do think he gets a bit possessive, getting a little jealous every time other person hit on you, but it also spices up the sex so its kinda good. he pulls it all out while fucking you, having his harsh way onto you.

AFTER THE TEACHER DISMISSED the class, Hyerin hurried to the classroom opposite hers, clutching a sheet of paper as she scanned the crowd for someone special. A brilliant smile lit up her face, celebrating her perfect score in Chemistry, a subject she typically disliked.
While her dedication played a significant role, her achievement owed much to someone dear to her heart—her boyfriend, Joshua Hong.
As Joshua exited the classroom, his bag slung over one shoulder, he ran his hand through his hair, oblivious to Hyerin's eager gaze. Finally spotting him, she dashed over, calling out his name. Startled, Joshua turned, only to be enveloped in a tight hug from Hyerin.
"Shua!" she exclaimed. He grinned as he embraced her in return, his eyes reflecting her excitement.
Breathless with enthusiasm, Hyerin shared her news. "Guess what? I, Choi Hyerin, just got a perfect score in Chemistry!" She handed him the paper, her eyes shining with pride.
Surprised but elated, Joshua scanned the paper, his smile widening. "I always knew you had it in you. I'm so proud of you," he said, gently pinching her cheeks.
Moved by his words, Hyerin hugged him tightly. "It's all thanks to having the best boyfriend," she murmured.
Joshua kissed her forehead. "No, I merely helped with the basics. The rest was all you. I'm truly proud, my love."
Hyerin's heart swelled with affection. "Really?" she whispered.
"Mhm," Joshua confirmed, holding her close. "And your mom will be thrilled. Show her as soon as she gets home."
Hyerin cherished the way Joshua looked at her—as though she were everything. And to him, she truly was. He was utterly captivated by her, and nothing else mattered in comparison. He was completely and breathtakingly fascinated.
Joshua had always been a man of few words, but since their paths intertwined, it seemed like there were a million unspoken sentiments between them. His eyes spoke volumes, effortlessly conveying his deep love for her. Their affection was palpable to anyone who observed them, revealing Joshua's complete adoration for her. Whether it was the sparkle in her eyes when he was near or the warmth of his affectionate smile, their relationship radiated pure love.
Even under a starry sky, their gaze remained locked on each other.
Lost in each other's embrace, they were oblivious to another pair of eyes fixated on them.
The onlooker's stare wasn't born of jealousy, anger, or resentment, but rather a bittersweet blend of pain and acceptance. Unintentionally, tears welled in their eyes as they continued to watch the couple from a distance.
"Hao, you shouldn't keep watching them. It'll only hurt you more," a voice spoke from behind, a hand resting on the observer's shoulder with concern.
"I know, Mingyu, but I can't help it. It's not that I resent seeing Shua with her. It's just hard not to imagine what it would be like if it were me instead of him," Minghao confessed, his longing evident in his voice as his gaze remained fixed on her radiant smile.
It always tormented him.
Her smile.
Minghao couldn't quite articulate why, but her smile brought him joy. He harbored just one wish — to be the reason behind her happiness. Yet, the realization that this dream would never materialize shattered him each time.
It remained his cherished fantasy, one he fervently wished would someday come true.
He often pondered if he could whisk her away, but did she harbor any desire to be with him?
However, Minghao could never betray his best friend, the one who stood by him from the start. He recognized that Hyerin meant the world to Joshua. Despite being the first to love her, Minghao knew he could never treat her as magnificently as Joshua did.
Joshua was incomparable, perhaps that was why she chose him. No one could dispute their compatibility, not even Minghao himself. Yet, witnessing her affection towards Joshua pierced him deeply. His only solace lay in his dreams, where she belonged to him and he to her.
Despite his unrequited love for his best friend's girlfriend, Minghao harbored no resentment towards Joshua; their friendship meant too much to him. He refused to jeopardize it for the sake of love.
"Perhaps confessing could aid your healing, Hao," Mingyu suggested.
"No, I couldn't do that to Shua. Maybe these feelings will fade with time. Until then, I'll find solace in merely witnessing her smile from afar," Minghao replied, a genuine smile gracing his lips as he watched them once more.
Mingyu couldn't help but feel sorry for his best friend. Though he couldn't change the situation, Mingyu always ensured he was there for Minghao, offering support whenever and wherever needed.
Tumblr media
"I'm just going to stash this in my locker. Be right back, okay? Meet you in the cafeteria," Joshua said, kissing Hyerin's temple before she headed off.
Joshua couldn't help but marvel, 'How did I ever deserve this angel?'
Turning around, he spotted his best friends and hurried over. Minghao swiftly wiped his tears at Joshua's approach.
"Hey, guys! What's going on?" Joshua beamed, earning fond smiles from both Mingyu and Minghao.
"Not much. We both aced Chemistry," Mingyu exclaimed excitedly.
"That's fantastic! I'm proud of you both," Joshua replied warmly.
Mingyu glanced at Minghao, then back at Joshua. "Hey, Shua, can I ask for your advice?" Joshua nodded, prompting Mingyu to continue. "I have a friend who's head over heels for this girl..."
Minghao shot Mingyu a warning glare, but Mingyu persisted, ignoring his friend's silent protests. "So, he's deeply in love with her, but she's in a relationship with his best friend."
"How did he develop feelings for his best friend's girlfriend?" Joshua inquired.
"Wel—"
"He didn't plan it. It just happened," Minghao interjected, defending his friend. "Besides, he loved her long before his best friend did."
Joshua arched a brow, puzzled by Minghao's defensive stance. "Well, if that's the case, why didn't he confess before his best friend did?" he asked.
Minghao faltered, unsure of how to respond. Joshua had a point. Why hadn't he confessed earlier? Was it fear, or a belief that he wasn't good enough for her?
He didn't know. Sensing the tension, Mingyu intervened, "Well, for whatever reason, he didn't. But now he can't shake his feelings and it hurts to see them together. How can he move on?"
Joshua pondered for a moment. "If he truly loves her—"
"He does. Very much," Minghao interjected again.
"Okay, then it won't be easy for him to let go," Joshua continued. "And since she's his best friend's girlfriend, he'll likely see her often, making it even harder."
"So there's no way for him to move on?" Mingyu pressed.
"There is," Joshua replied, catching Minghao's curious gaze. "Rejection."
Minghao looked puzzled, while Mingyu shot him a knowing glance.
"If he doesn't express his feelings, he might hold onto hope. But if he confesses and she rejects him, it'll shatter those hopes, allowing him to move forward," Joshua explained. "But since she's his best friend's girlfriend, a face-to-face confession might be awkward and could jeopardize their friendship."
"Way to burst the bubble, Shua," Mingyu remarked, rolling his eyes.
"You didn't let me finish, you goofball," Joshua retorted. "He could write her a letter, confessing his love as a secret admirer. That way, she won't know it's him, and he can move on when she rejects him, without risking their friendship." Joshua grinned, pleased with his solution.
"But what if she tells her boyfriend about the letters? That would ruin his friendship," Minghao asked.
"She wouldn't. She would probably refrain from bringing this up to him," Joshua reassured with a smile.
"Thank you so much, Shua. You're the best!" Minghao exclaimed.
"You're welcome, I guess. Are you going to go tell him now or...?" Joshua queried.
"Yes! Joshua, we have to go. We'll see you later. Thanks again!" Mingyu exclaimed, grabbing Minghao's hand as they began to move away from Joshua.
Joshua shook his head, smiling as he saw his two best friends head inside the cafeteria.
'I might be the only boyfriend who would give his best friend permission to write love letters to his girlfriend,' Joshua thought with a sigh.
He knew.
Of course he knew. Joshua wasn't that naïve or ignorant to not notice the sparkles in Minghao's eyes whenever they landed on Hyerin. It would be impossible to miss the lovely smile on his face each time she would smile. But Joshua never said anything. Knowing this made Joshua value Minghao even more than he already did. He was surprised by how Minghao never once showed his anger or hatred toward him. No matter how hurt Minghao was, he always proved that his friendship with Joshua meant so much more than anything else. Even now, Joshua noticed how Minghao was keen and focused on not ruining their friendship.
Joshua was certainly scared.
Scared of losing her—his everything. But if being with Minghao is what she would want, Joshua would definitely give her up happily, knowing that she would be with someone who loved her deeply. Probably even more than Joshua himself. What mattered to him was her happiness. Nothing else. If she would be happier without him, Joshua wouldn't hesitate to let her go. His mother always used to tell him, "If you love someone, the best thing you can do for them is letting them go. If they are yours, they would always find their way back to you and if they don't, they weren't ever yours."
'I hope you get to tell her everything you wished to say, Hao. I hope it would help you move on. If you end up winning her too, I would be very happy for you.'
Joshua smiled tenderly, walking towards the cafeteria.
Tumblr media
"I don't know if I should do it. It feels wrong," Minghao sighed, his hands fumbling with the piece of paper in his hands.
"Hao, even Joshua himself gave you permission to write to his girlfriend. What more do you need?" Mingyu reasoned.
"But he didn't know that it was about me and Hyerin," Minghao frowned.
"But it's not like you're doing anything wrong, Hao. It's okay to be a little selfish at times like this, you know? As Shua said, the only way you can move on is if you get rejected." Mingyu placed his hands on Minghao's shoulders. "You might never get a better opportunity other than this."
Minghao sighed, his heart heavy at the thought of betraying his best friend. "I don't know if I can betray him like this. It's hard."
Joshua hid in a corner next to them, eavesdropping on their conversation. He sighed, feeling somehow happy that Minghao felt hesitant. Of course Joshua wanted him to be a little selfish and do it, but he felt very grateful to have someone as unique and special as Minghao in his life. Nonetheless, Joshua definitely wanted him to do it. Joshua never felt guilty for being with Hyerin; he just couldn't bear to see his best friend get hurt because of him.
Minghao took a deep breath, knowing that he had to do it either way. He inserted the paper slowly in between the small gap of Hyerin's locker. Joshua felt relieved and proud of Minghao for doing it.
"I'm sorry, Shua," Minghao whispered, his head against the locker.
Joshua smiled fondly at his best friend. 'It's okay, Hao. I'm happy you did it.'
"Let's leave before she comes, Hao," Mingyu suggested, earning a nod from Minghao.
Tumblr media
After a long and eventful evening, Hyerin was certainly exhausted but was still very cheerful because of her huge achievement. She happily skipped to her locker.
Minghao watched with a small smile on his face. He knew it was wrong to feel this way but his heart couldn't help but palpitate wildly for what was coming next. He was both nervous and excited. Minghao had already made different assumptions as to how she might react to the letter, and he was prepared to get his heart broken.
Hyerin opened her locker, only to find a small piece of paper. Confused, she grabbed it delicately as if she might ruin the paper. Noticing many words written neatly, she started reading it.
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
I couldn't stop my eyes from searching for every trace of you. I'm in love, alone.
I'm in love with the impossibility of me and you.
With a heart like that, you deserve the world, darling.
If only I had been a bit earlier, I might've been treasuring you in my arms now.
Maybe we were meant to meet but not to be.
- MH ♡
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
Hyerin looked around, hoping to find the writer of the letter.
'MH?'
She wondered, her mind recalling anyone and everyone she knew with the initials 'MH'. But to her dismay, no one as such crossed her mind. Hyerin wouldn't lie, the way her admirer worded his feelings definitely made her feel butterflies. If she weren't already in a relationship with someone she loved with all her heart, she might have been swayed.
She sighed, grabbing the paper before closing her locker. Scrunching her nose, she headed to her class. Though she was physically present, her mind was captivated by thoughts of who could have written her the letter.
"Hey, my love," Joshua hugged her from behind, kissing her head. "How was dinner yesterday?"
"Oh, yeah, it was great. Mom felt really proud," she replied nonchalantly. "She invited you over for dinner today. Can you make it, Joshie?" Joshua chuckled at the nickname, pinching her cheeks.
"I'll try, sweetheart. Do thank her for inviting me, though." Hyerin nodded, cuddling closer to him.
"Shua, there's something bothering my mind," she whispered.
"Really? You wanna talk about it?" he asked gently, rubbing her back.
"Never mind. It's nothing." She shrugged as he frowned.
"If you still want to talk about it, I'm always here, okay?" She nodded, pecking his lips. "I love you, Shua."
He smiled. "I love you more."

══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
These are the words I never thought I'd be able to let out.
Maybe it's the way you say my name, but it's so good. I've never known anybody like you. I've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime and I'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine.
Though I'm a coward for not saying this to you face to face, I simply just cannot bring myself to do it as you make my mind go blank every time I see you. Perhaps, that was the reason I couldn't confess sooner than he did.
I'm in a field of Dandelions, wishing on every one that you'd be mine. I see forever in your eyes, I feel okay when I see you smile. Wishing on Dandelions all of the time, I pray to God that one day, you'd be mine.
However, I'm happy you're with the best possible guy for you. Even if I had confessed earlier, I wouldn't have been able to love you as half as he does.
I hope you stay happy with him always. I love seeing you smile.
I always thought it was impossible for a person to have a smile much more beautiful than all of the wonders of the world but you proved me wrong, so never give it up for anyone. I'm so inspired with you; how special your heart is, how your mind works, how you live and especially how you love.
Please don't search for me. I really do wish I could tell you who I am but I'm afraid I can't.
Such a coward I am, aren't I? I already know what your reply would be but hearing it out loud would help me move on. Please come to the rooftop after lunch, though you won't be able to see me, I'll be there, listening to you.
I hope you'll come.
- MH ♡
══✿═╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
Quickly checking her watch, she widened her eyebrows. Shutting her locker, she ran to the rooftop. Hyerin hadn't been to her locker since morning and only checked just now after eating lunch.
Feeling guilty, she ran as fast as she could, hoping the mystery person wouldn't misunderstand the reason for her absence on the rooftop.
Catching her breath, she shouted, "I'm here!" hoping her secret admirer was still present.
Taking a deep breath, she started, "Hi, you already know that I have a boyfriend and that I love him a lot. I'm guessing the reason you're not revealing yourself to me is because I already know who you are. I just wanted to say, I'm sorry that I was blind to see how you felt about me. It must've hurt you a lot to see me and Joshua together. And you're not a coward; confessing to someone who is your friend isn't easy, there's a lot to take under consideration, so I understand. I just wanted to know why you decided to tell me now. I'm really sorry I can't reciprocate your feelings, as you already know, I love Joshua with all my heart and I can't even imagine being with someone who is not him. I'm really sorry. I hope we still stay friends. Thank you for all your beautiful words. If I hadn't already loved Shua, I would've definitely been swept off my feet. I hope you find someone better than me, someone who actually deserves you and loves you a lot. I just wanted to say this. Thank you for being my friend and for revealing your feelings to me instead of bottling it up forever. I wish nothing but the best for you."
She let out a sigh, hoping someone actually heard her words and that she wasn't just talking to herself. She slowly stepped out, heading to her class.
All the while, Minghao could do nothing but cry as he felt his heart break. He knew what she would say, but he was grateful that she tried her best to let him down politely. He kept crying until it satisfied his heart. Suddenly, someone embraced him, softly patting his head.
"It’s okay, Hao," Joshua whispered, his voice gentle and soothing. "I’m here for you."
Minghao looked up, surprised to see Joshua. "Shua, why are you here? You- you knew?"
Joshua smiled softly. "Yes, Hao. That's why I told you to do this and I wanted to make sure you were okay. I know this was hard for you, but I’m proud of you for telling her how you feel."
Minghao wiped his tears, feeling a mix of relief and gratitude. "Thank you, Shua. I don’t know what I’d do without you."
Joshua hugged him tighter. "We’ll get through this together, Hao. You’re not alone."
As they stood there, Minghao felt a sense of comfort knowing that despite everything, his friendship with Joshua remained unshaken.
The saddest word in the world is almost.
He almost had her, she almost fell for him.
They almost made it. And now, their 'almost' would always haunt him forever.
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
This is my last letter to you. I just wanted to tell you everything I wanted to because I wanted to have no regrets and what ifs. It's going to be a bit long so I'm sorry for that. One, I heard you yesterday, thank you for coming and telling me how you feel, I really appreciate it. Second, thank you for coming into my life and making me feel things I myself couldn't explain. It hurts like hell to have to forget you but now, I at least had my dreams and fantasies killed, it'll help me move on.
You are the love that came without a single warning and you stole my heart before I could even say no. It's very pathetic really, how much I hope it's you and me in the end. You and I, we were always just an almost—never something, never nothing but just an almost. It was hell realizing you only loved me in my dreams and I always woke up alone. At least now, I won't have regrets that I couldn't express just how much you mean to me.
Your happiness has become such an important part of my life now that it kills me to see you sad. Always keep smiling, you deserve it more than anyone. And, don't let him go, he's one of a kind. Just like you.
Goodbye, my almost first love.
- MH ♡

Hyerin softly smiled as she read the letter.
"Bubs, I missed you." A voice cooed in her ears, hugging her from behind as she giggled.
"Really? Should we go on a date today then? I already finished studying for my tests." She replied, turning around and wrapping her hands around Joshua's waist.
"Sounds perfect." He pecked her lips.

The sky was just beginning to darken as you stood with Seventeen at the edge of the abandoned city. Everyone had heard the rumors about this place—the old factories, the empty amusement park, the countless stories of hauntings and strange occurrences. It was a ghost town, but for you and the boys, it was an adventure waiting to happen.
"Alright, who's ready to explore?" S.Coups asked, his voice full of excitement. He held up his flashlight like a leader brandishing a torch.
"I'm always ready!" Hoshi exclaimed, practically bouncing with energy. You weren't surprised; he was usually the most enthusiastic in the group.
"Do we really need to do this at night?" Seungkwan asked, pretending to shiver from the wind. "I mean, isn't that how all horror stories start?"
"It's supposed to be spookier at night," you replied, giving him a reassuring pat on the back. "Besides, what's the fun without a little fear?"
Jeonghan chuckled. "Right, and if anyone gets scared, they can just hold hands with Seungkwan."
"Hey, I'm not scared!" Seungkwan retorted, crossing his arms. "I'm just... cautious."
The city loomed ahead, a mass of decaying buildings and overgrown streets. Broken streetlights flickered weakly, casting long shadows on the asphalt. Woozi, ever the pragmatic one, adjusted his bag and sighed. "Just remember, guys, we stick together. No wandering off."
"Yeah, especially you, Hoshi," Joshua added, his tone playful but with a hint of caution.
"Me? Why me?" Hoshi asked, feigning innocence.
"Because you have a habit of running off when you're excited," you said, pointing at him with your flashlight. "Last time, we almost lost you in the mall."
Mingyu, the tallest in the group, leaned against a rusted fence. "Alright, let's get moving. I want to see if we can find that amusement park. I heard there's a Ferris wheel that's still standing."
"You heard right," Vernon replied, pointing toward the distance. "It's that way. Let's go."
The group set off into the city, flashlights casting narrow beams of light across the deserted streets. The sound of their footsteps echoed, creating an eerie rhythm. Every now and then, you could hear distant sounds—perhaps animals or the wind—but it was hard to tell in a place like this.
As you walked, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. The city had been abandoned for years, but there was something about its decaying beauty that drew you in. You noticed Wonwoo taking pictures, his camera's flash lighting up the darkness.
"This place has character," he said, capturing a shot of a graffiti-covered wall. "I bet there's some cool stuff deeper in."
The8, with his artistic eye, nodded in agreement. "It's like a canvas that's been left to nature. The decay has its own beauty."
Dino, the youngest in the group, was clearly excited to be out exploring with everyone. "Hey, let's check out that alley," he suggested, pointing to a narrow path between two buildings.
"Sure, but let's stick together," you said, leading the way.
The alley was filled with debris, and the walls were covered in faded posters and graffiti. As you walked through, you noticed that the alley led to a larger street, where the faint outline of the amusement park became visible.
"There it is!" Hoshi exclaimed, picking up the pace. "Come on, let's check it out!"
The amusement park was a surreal sight. The rides were rusted and broken, the ticket booths abandoned, and the Ferris wheel loomed over the entire area, creaking in the wind. It was as if time had stopped, leaving the park frozen in a state of decay.
"Wow," Mingyu said, looking around in awe. "This is amazing."
"Yeah, amazing," DK replied, though his voice was laced with apprehension. "But does anyone else feel like we're being watched?"
"Relax," Jeonghan said, putting an arm around him. "It's just your imagination."
You led the group deeper into the park, exploring the various rides and attractions. The bumper cars were covered in rust, the carousel had lost most of its horses, and the roller coaster was overgrown with vines. Despite the decay, there was a strange beauty to it all.
"Hey, look at this," Joshua said, pointing to an old arcade. "Let's see if anything still works."
The group entered the arcade, where the smell of dust and mold filled the air. The machines were in varying states of disrepair, but The8 found one that still had power. He pressed a button, and the screen flickered to life, displaying a classic racing game.
"Who wants to race?" he asked, a playful smile on his lips.
Dino immediately stepped forward. "I'm in! Let's do this!"
As Dino and The8 played, the rest of the group explored the arcade. You noticed that Seungkwan was a bit uneasy, his gaze darting around the room.
"What's up, Seungkwan?" you asked, noticing his nervousness.
"I keep hearing things," he replied in a whisper. "Like whispers or something."
"It's probably just the wind," you said, trying to reassure him. "This place is old, and sound travels weirdly in places like this."
But as you continued exploring, you heard it too—a faint whispering, like distant voices carried by the wind. It was hard to tell where it was coming from, but it was enough to send a chill down your spine.
The group eventually left the arcade and headed toward the roller coaster. Hoshi and Mingyu were already at the top, waving down at everyone else.
"Come on up!" Hoshi shouted. "The view is amazing!"
S.Coups led the way, helping the others climb to the top of the roller coaster. From there, you could see the entire amusement park, and beyond it, the sprawling city. The sun had fully set by now, and the city was enveloped in darkness.
As you admired the view, you heard a loud crash from somewhere in the city. It was followed by a series of distant echoes, like something—or someone—was moving through the streets.
"What was that?" Woozi asked, his eyes narrowing as he listened.
"Probably just something falling," you replied, though you weren't entirely sure.
The group quickly descended from the roller coaster, heading toward the source of the noise. The shadows seemed to grow darker as you moved through the park, and the whispering grew louder.
"Guys, this is starting to get creepy," DK said, sticking close to you.
"I agree," Seungkwan replied, looking around nervously. "Maybe we should head back."
S.Coups turned to the group, his flashlight illuminating their anxious faces. "Okay, let's not take any chances. Let's head back the way we came."
As you made your way through the amusement park, you couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched. The whispering continued, growing louder with each step. It was like the city itself was coming to life, its abandoned buildings and empty streets filled with unseen presences.
Just as you reached the entrance to the park, the gate slammed shut with a loud bang. Everyone jumped, and DK let out a small scream.
"What the—?" Vernon said, trying to push the gate open. It wouldn't budge.
"Why is it locked?" Joshua asked, his voice laced with concern.
"It's like someone's playing a prank on us," Jeonghan said, trying to lighten the mood. "Who's got the keys?"
"This isn't funny," you said, feeling a surge of anxiety. "We need to find another way out."
The group quickly headed back into the park, looking for another exit. The whispers seemed to be coming from all directions, and the darkness felt heavier. It was clear that something was not right.
As you moved through the park, you stumbled upon an old maintenance shed. The door was slightly ajar, and you could see a dim light coming from inside.
"Maybe there's a way out through here," Wonwoo suggested, pointing to the shed.
The group cautiously entered, their flashlights cutting through the darkness. Inside, the shed was filled with old tools and machinery. But what caught your attention was a map pinned to the wall, showing the layout of the amusement park.
"Look," you said, pointing to the map. "There's a service tunnel that leads out of the park. It's right behind this shed."
"Great, let's go!" Hoshi exclaimed, eager to get out of the park.
As you followed the map, you heard a loud bang from behind you. It was like something—or someone—had slammed a door shut. Everyone jumped, and Dino let out a small yelp.
"We need to get out of here," Woozi said, his voice tense. "This place is getting weird."
The group followed the map to the service tunnel, which was hidden behind a stack of old crates. It was narrow and dark, but it seemed to lead to an exit. You took the lead, flashlight in hand, guiding the group through the tunnel.
The whispers seemed to follow you, growing louder as you moved through the darkness. It was as if the city itself was alive, its unseen inhabitants watching your every move.
Finally, you reached the end of the tunnel, where a rusty door led to the street. You pushed it open, and a gust of fresh air greeted you. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Seventeen is coming to our country!!"
"Really?!!" you asked your bestie
"Not all of them. Only the performance unit and Scoups," she said.
"At least Minghao is coming. Oh my poor hearteu!"
"Stop being a delulu. It's too cringe," she said while giving you a disgusted look.
"Ok ok. Stop looking at me like that. Let's go now, " you let out, after taking a sip from your boba tea. You were intending to go shopping with your bestie since you had free time.
TIME SKIP
You were finally done with shopping and now going to a nearby park that your bestie recommended. She went home already but you decided to do something else. Your eyes were locked at the sight of the lavish greeneries. You were too stunned to speak. You've always loved nature and the park was luxuriant and peaceful.
Not before long, the calm environment shattered due to the screams of some people. You looked in the direction of the sound. 'Was it the paparazzi?' you thought to yourself looking confused. You brushed away your thought and decided to go somewhere else since you hate loud noises. As you were walking, you saw a guy panting hard. You couldn't see his face properly as his face was facing the ground. Just then, he slowly lifted his face and you were dumbfounded to see Minghao. 'What the heck? Am I daydreaming or what,' you thought to yourself and realized that he was actually running away from his crazy fans and also from the paparazzi. Without thinking twice, you grabbed his left arm and started dragging him toward a bush. You can feel Minghao trying to yank away your hand but it wasn't possible as your grip was firm. As pulled into the bush you put your palm one his mouth and shushed him.
"Wait wait. Don't shout. I'm not a sasaeng fan. I will explain to you in a while. Let the paparazzi go first," you whispered to him. Luckily you learnt Korean after becoming a K-pop fan. You can now easily communicate with Minghao in Korean. After a while, you stood up slowly and checked the surroundings making sure there was no one around. Then, you told Minghao to get up. Before he could tell anything, you cut him off.
"Please don't shout at me or do anything like that. I just wanted to help you. I'm a carat," you said panicking.
"Ok ok. Calm down. I just wanted to say thank you for saving me," he said with a beaming smile that made your heart flutter which you simply replied by saying 'my pleasure'.
"Umm. Sorry to disturb you but do you know the way to the hotel named Del Luna?" he asked you nervously.
"Of course, I know. I live here anyway. You can come with me in my car if you feel comfortable with it,"
"Oh really? I would love to. Thank you,"
"Your welcome"
TIME SKIP
You were now driving to the hotel Minghao mentioned earlier. You were trying to concentrate on driving not being able to believe that you saved your idol, your favourite idol earlier. Your heart was beating so hard that it would come out any moment.
"Not to mention but are you feeling comfortable? And do you trust me?" you asked him anxiously.
"What made you think that? If I didn't feel comfortable and trust you, why would I ask you for help?" he asked giggling. Your cheeks turned crimson red seeing him giggle. After all, he was your favourite idol and your crush too.
TIME SKIP
Minghao and you talked for sometime. You even caught him stealing glances at you. Not before long, you both arrived at your destination. As soon as he stepped out of the car, Scoups ran toward him worried checking up on him. Minghao said something to him but you couldn't hear it properly then Scoups turned to you and thanked you for saving Minghao. You could see his dimple popping out which showed that he was genuinely happy now.
"Umm. Minghao? Can I get your number? I just-
"Yeah, sure. Here," he said. You were grinning like a Cheshire cat and bowed to him thanking him. At least you managed yourself from jumping up and down in excitement. Your inner self was screaming.
"Maybe we could catch up later," Minghao said and winked at you. Oh boy, what was he doing to your poor heart? You gave him an excited smile which he gladly returned back with an approving one. That night all you could think about is Minghao and you slowly drifted to your dreamland with a smile.
TIME SKIP
It has been a few weeks since you and Minghao became good friends and hung out a lot. You were actually quite surprised when you found out that you and he have many things in common which made your relationship with him closer.
Whilst you were reading a book, you got a call from Minghao telling you that he wanted to meet you and you agreed. Later, you both met at the rooftop of the hotel he was currently staying.
"The reason I called you earlier was to tell you that I'm going back to South Korea in two days," he said and sighed deeply. Your heart shattered into million pieces as it has only been a few weeks since you guys met and he's going back already?
"But we can still be in touch, right?" you asked him with a hopeful look in your eyes.
"I guess so but I want to confess something. I- I lov-ve you!" he let out with a deep sigh. He glimpsed at you who was looking puzzled not believing what he said just now. Your brain was trying to process everything but you were still a blur.
"Uh? Am I heari-"
Before you could even finish your sentence he pulled you closer in his embrace, sliding his arms around your waist making your breath hitch. He pecked your forehead.
"I know you love me too. Don't be shocked. I know it's too much to take in but I love you and that's all I know," he said sincerely which made your heart melt and you hugged him back.
"But what about carats and the paparazzi and your job? You could lose everything because of me," you stated worriedly.
"I'm a human too. I also have something called feelings. Why should idols always have to sacrifice everything? Don't worry. I will take care of everything and now I just want you. I only want you to be by my side and support me. Plus, my parents already know that I love you and since I will go back to South Korea. Take your time and choose what you are saying going to do. Whether you want to come with me to Korea or stay here. Remember that I will always respect your opinion. So, don't worry love," Minghao said while cupping your rosy cheeks.
"I love you too Minghao and give me some time. I guess I will come with you later on. Not alone but with my bestie. She's also a carat anyways," you said while smiling while Minghao connected his lips with your soft ones slowly kissing with enough passion. You also kissed him back but you couldn't ignore the fact that your heart was beating like crazy. It was a picture-perfect moment with you kissing him, the orange sunset glowing making the environment romantic.
Little did you know, it was just the beginning of your story. You will always treasure this moment.

A/n : This fanfic is purely based on my imagination only. I hope this is good enough to make you guys happy. Thank you for supporting me. It means a lot for me.. Thanks to my besties too<3...

You licked up the side of the dripping, vivid orange popsicle clutched in your hand, a lit cigarette tucked in your other, perched delicately between your index and middle finger as you walked down the sunny street. You must’ve been a strange sight to most, something so childish as a creamsicle held by the same person as a smoking cigarette. But you couldn’t help it.
You had promised yourself nearly two years ago to never smoke again. Mingyu hated the smell more than anything, and when he remained firm in his resolve to not kiss you while you smoked, you decided to quit for his sake. You knew it wasn’t healthy to fall back on bad habits, but difficult times called for difficult measures, and it was certainly a difficult time.
Your apartment came into view as you walked down the street, the worn out soles of your converse highs tapping lightly against the pavement as you approached the large building drenched in golden sunlight. It was a beautiful day. And that really pissed you off. Turning your key in the lock, you opened the door to your dingy shared apartment, taking in the sight of the seemingly empty room, rays of midday sun peeking in through the open windows. You kicked off your shoes, putting out the cigarette on the sole of the left one before your brother could notice, although you knew he would figure it out anyway. He had a way of always finding out when you did something you weren’t supposed to.
“Junhui! I’m home!” you called out, hoping that your brother hadn’t yet arrived from classes, and that you could rinse some mouthwash before he smelled the tobacco on your tongue. To your chagrin, the dusty blond boy emerged from the bathroom with a toothbrush dangling from one end of his mouth, wide eyed and with a foamy smile on his lips. You put on a smile to match his own as he walked to the door, helping you take off your jacket and hang it up, even though the help wasn’t needed.
“Welcome home! You want some tea?’ he asked, hanging up your denim jacket on a coat rack by the door. Before you could respond, he scrunched up his nose, a disgusted look coming over his face as he brought the fabric up to his face, taking a deep inhale from the powdery blue cloth as you grimaced sheepishly. He dropped the fabric, growing closer to you, sniffing with a skeptical look. Apparently he got the confirmation he needed from the prevalent smell of smoke in your hair, as he backed up, crossed his arms, and sighed heavily with a disappointed frown. “Y/n…”
“I know, I know.” you interrupted before he could finish his sentence, waving him off as you removed your school bag from your shoulder and set it on the ground by the doormat. “I told you I would quit.”
“So why’d you smoke?”
“You smoked?” another voice said, a head of dark brown hair popping out from the kitchen, startling you greatly. Minghao seemed to have appeared out of thin air, nowhere to be seen when you had done a quick once over of the apartment upon your entry. But now that you noticed his presence, you began to smell the familiar scent of tomato and eggs wafting through the small kitchen. The older boy brought out three teal bowls, all filled to the brim with appetizing rice, tomato, eggs, and green onion scattered on the top. “You’ve been clean for a long time.”
“I’m well aware.” you sighed, taking a seat at the little table in your makeshift “dining room”, barely large enough to seat three people, as Minghao slid a dish in front of you. The steaming plate of food sent you straight back to your times from middle school when you would wake up, roll out of bed, and stumble to the kitchen to see a smiling Minghao holding a plate full of breakfast. “Thanks for the food.”
“Hey! I’m not done brushing my teeth!” Junhui protested, running back to the bathroom, a bit of toothpaste dripping down his chin as he rushed to wash out his mouth. Minghao just chuckled quietly in amusement, sitting down in the seat across from you with an undistinguishable expression.
“So, what happened that made you smoke your first cigarette in three years?” You scoffed, taking a spoonful of eggs and shoving it into your mouth, eyebrows already furrowing at the mere memory of what had happened just earlier this morning.
“What, you’ve been keeping count?” you asked.
“You know I have.” he said, taking a small bite from his bowl without yielding his questioning gaze. When you didn’t respond, he propped his elbows up on the table, leaning his head on the tops of his intertwined hands. “I’ve known you for a long time. And if I know anything about you, it’s that you’re stubborn as hell. I don’t think you would’ve given up on quitting so easily.” You sighed.
It was undeniably true. Today had been an unusually horrible day, bad enough to make you break your three year abstinence from cigarettes, which wasn’t normal of your iron resolve. Minghao could read you like a book. Probably better than a book, considering he didn’t read many.
“Nothing important.”
“We both know that’s bullshit.” he said matter-of-factly. “C’mon, you trust me, right? I’m your best friend.” It was smug of him to say it in that way when he knew he was Junhui’s best friend, but he was right. You absolutely trusted him, you always have, ever since he walked through the door on Jun’s third day of junior high, your brother bouncing with excitement from finding another Chinese student at his school.
Even though he was Junhui’s best friend, he felt like he was yours too. He had always been there for you, like he day he finally overcame his inherent weakness to punch Lee Chan in the face after he called you a whore, or the day Joshua Hong stood you up on prom night for his ex and Minghao rented out a tux last minute to take you himself, even if it caused your brother to slap him later that night.
He was as much a part of your life as he was Junhui’s, and that’s why you decided to finally tell him the truth about what had caused your utterly shitty day.
“Mingyu broke up with me.” you said, stirring your straw in the cup of water that Minghao had placed by your seat. The boy in front of you had an inexplicable expression on his face, and you weren’t sure what emotions were passing through his head at the moment. “It seems like the entire school found out before I did. He didn’t even have the balls to break it off until lunchtime, even though he went around telling everyone we were split since yesterday.” You could’ve been imagining it, but you were practically certain that you saw Minghao’s knuckles clench in anger, but if he was agitated, he didn’t show it, just calmly taking another bite of his meal.
“Didn’t see that coming.” You couldn’t tell if he was being sarcastic or not. Minghao knew better than anyone what your relationship with Mingyu was like. After all, Mingyu was his classmate, and the boy you met on the date he and Boo Seungkwan set you up with, without your brother’s consent, you might add. But you didn’t allow him to provoke you, simply taking another bite and looking at your bowl as though it was the most interesting thing in the world. He nodded with an expectant look that made you feel as though you had to give him the rest of the news, and you sighed.
“Turns out he met back up with his old childhood friend a few weeks ago. You remember Tzuyu?” Minghao nodded again, and you continued with a heavy exhale, glancing over your shoulder to see if Junhui had returned, which, startlingly enough, he hadn’t, apparently still in the bathroom. “He’s in love with her.”
“No way.” Minghao said, and it was hard for you to tell if he was kidding, but after a few moments you decided he wouldn’t treat you with so much sarcasm while you were in a sensitive moment. Although, that betrayed all logic considering he just did it minutes previously.
“Yeah. Apparently she ‘helped him figure out he didn’t have feelings for me anymore’. So he told her he was going to break up with me.”
“And she told Momo, who told Jihyun, who told Sana,” Minghao continued, seeming to sense where the story was going.
“And she told everyone.” you finished. “I’m surprised you didn’t find out. I would’ve thought you’d be the first person to know.” You stirred the straw in your drink for the second time, absentmindedly twirling the metal tube between your pointer finger and thumb and watching the ice cubes glide through the liquid.
“I missed class today,” he admitted. “I had some business to take care of.” You knew better than to ask what, just nodding. “Jun doesn’t know…”
“And he can’t.” you emphasized, lifting your head up to gaze at him fiercely. “You know what he’d do if he found out.”
“...Mingyu would beat him to a pulp if he tried.”
“I know. But that won’t stop him.” There was a moment of silence between the two of you as you challenged him with your eyes, and he lifted his hands in surrender, letting out a little sigh as he caved, and you took a bite in triumph.
“Alright, I give up. I won’t tell your brother.”
“Won’t tell me what?” Junhui asked, timing horrible as usual as he came around the back of your chair with a suspicious look to sit next to Minghao at the other side of the table, the latter giving him a smile.
“I’m desperately in love with your sister.” he grinned, and Jun slapped him on the back of his head, your cheeks flaming as soon as the words escaped his mouth.
“Hey, cut it out.” Junhui complained, picking up his bowl of food, which had already grown cold in his long absence. “Jesus, I’d rather you not tell me.” Minghao gave you a wink and a thumbs up when your brother wasn’t looking, and you smiled gratefully, albeit tightly, in return, hoping he didn’t notice how your cheeks began to feel like fire and your heart pounded like a drum in your chest.
Dinner was energetic as usual, and it was somewhat encouraging to see how little things had changed at home, despite the big shift in your life outside your doorstep. Jun and Minghao easily lifted you out of your slump, and despite the haunting reminder that you had to go back to school the next day, you were feeling better than you had all morning. Junhui had begrudgingly agreed to washing the dishes after a fierce game of rock paper scissors, which had ended unfortunately for the navy haired boy.
As the rushing sound of the sink soothed you, you rested your hair against the oaken table, letting your gaze focus on the sights outside your front window. When you caught sight of the peaceful view outside, something catching your eye, you sat up quickly.
“Hao.” you said, and Minghao let out a little noise of acknowledgement from beside you, head down on the table with his arms shielding his face from the last rays of sunlight slipping under the horizon. “There’s peaches on the tree outside.” He lifted his head from the table, face red and puffy from where he had pressed it, and gave a glance to the round fruits beginning to grow from buds on the tree just outside your apartment.
“They look pretty.” he said simply, moving to rest his head again.
“It’s weird. Peaches bloom in summer.”
“Maybe the tree knew we needed a bit of joy in the spring.” he said, voice muffled against the wooden surface. “They bloomed early for us.” You slowly lowered yourself back down to the table, a soft smile on your face thinking of his words. Maybe the peaches did bloom for you, maybe they knew that you craved something refreshing, a change in the old monotony of Seoul. Maybe they knew you were missing the trees that used to grow in your childhood home’s backyard. Or better.
Maybe they knew that Mingyu hated peaches.

“For the last time Dahyun, no.” you insisted with a deep and frustrated exhale as your best friend pouted from across the table. You averted your eyes from her doe expression, afraid that her pretty pleading might actually convince you to agree to her horrible idea. “I’m not going on a blind date. It’s too early.”
“Come on, y/n.” she pleaded, hands together. “You need to move on from that asshole, and soon. Mingyu’s party is coming up next weekend, and you have to prove to him that you’re better off without him.” she said, gesturing wildly at nothing. You sucked on your bubbling soda, unbothered, more focused on the sticky feeling of your bare thighs on the hot seats of the restaurant from where your shorts had ridden up than on her strange plan. Your friends Chaeyoung and Mina, however, are enraptured by her visual demonstration, hands resting on their chins as they nod along with her.
“It might be good for you.” Chaeyoung suggested, her chin resting on a perfectly manicured hand. “I think I know someone who could help.”
“The only person that could help is Mingyu, that fucking asshole, by getting back together with me.” you said bitterly, teeth subconsciously clamping around the striped yellow straw resting between your lips as you sipped on the soda clutched in your hand. The three girls across the table exchanged a look that you didn’t seem to notice, and Mina gently reached out for your hand.
“How about you just hear Dahyun out, yeah?” They were incredibly stubborn, and it made you want to slap them in the face, but you reminded yourself that their unyielding resolve is what made you love them in the first place, and kept your hand firmly at your side. A sigh escaped your mouth as you finally relinquished your tight grip on the straw, waving them on to continue as you lean back onto the sticky fabric seat.
“Continue.” Dahyun’s eyes lit up in excitement.
“Well, I was talking to Vernon about this guy-”
“I’ve heard enough.” you said, standing up and halfway ready to leave the diner  just at the mere mention of Mingyu’s best friend when Chaeyoung pulled you down with a strong tug on your shorts.
“Just hear me out.” Dahyun said petulantly, brushing her hair away from her face and continuing the story. “Vernon told me he has a friend in his grade who’s been painfully single pretty much all his life. He’s decently introverted and polite, very respectful and quiet. For the first time in years, just yesterday he finally agreed to let Vernon set up a blind date for him.” You didn’t like where this was going. You didn’t like where this was going at all, but there was something that made you hear her out, nodding silently and taking the straw back between your lips. Maybe it was that you really wanted to move on, or the boy sounded quite pleasant, or you wanted to give love another chance.
Or maybe you just wanted to spite Mingyu because he was not introverted, polite, or respectful at all.
“He’s newly 24, really smart, and pretty fun when he wants to be. And get this, he’s a cinematography and film production major. Sexy nerd type shit.” Dahyun finished smugly, knowing that you were successfully drawn in by the description of this mystery boy. You had to admit, he sounded like your type. You were always a film enthusiast, not to mention a fan of a strong willed person. Plus, introverts were always a safe bet. They were less likely to cheat on you, unlike a certain extrovert.
The three girls waited in silent anticipation as you pondered the offer, eyes down on the sunny surface of the table and teeth gnawing against the already ruined straw. After making your decision, reluctant and almost certain this would turn out to be a horrible idea as your instincts told you, you looked up into three pairs of expectant and excited eyes.
“Alright,” you caved exasperatedly, and Chaeyoung squealed. “I’ll do it. But I can’t promise any dates after this one.” The trio practically launched themselves over the table in unison to wrap you into a big hug, and you were certain they would squeeze the life out of you if they held on any longer.
“You won’t regret it y/n! I promise.” Dahyun said happily, and you sighed.
You were fairly certain that you were, in fact, going to very much regret it.

You browsed the aisles upon aisles of condiments in your local mart, searching for your favorite brand of chili paste. You were craving comfort food tonight, and despite Jun doing most of the cooking between the two of you, you thought it was about time that you learned to make mapo tofu. Your mother had taught you many years before, and you wanted to capitalize on your youthful mind before that core memory completely slipped from your brain. You tossed a small bottle of sichuan peppercorns into the basket clutched in your hand, your thoughts wandering as music pumped through your headphones, the volume so loud it threatened to shake your brain inside your skull. You barely had a moment of peace in the grocery store before your headphones were yanked out, the trembling bass replaced by a soothing voice near your ear.
“What’re you buying?” You practically jumped, shivering at the sound of the voice so close to your face, feeling the breath of the voice’s owner on your cheek. You whipped around, ready to slap the shit out of whatever stranger with no concept of personal space had interrupted your peaceful trip to the mart, but let out a breath of relief at the sight of an annoyingly smug, yet familiar brunette.
“Christ Minghao, never do that again.” you snapped at him, turning around to resume grabbing the container of chilies that you had finally found. It was just out of your reach, just a few inches above the tips of your finger. Your tongue peeked out from the corner of your mouth as you struggled to reach for the troublesome square box, but you soon felt a warm hand rest on your shoulder, Minghao’s long arm reaching up to easily snatch the container from the shelf that had seemed so out of reach to you.
“Here you go, m’lady.” he said teasingly, bowing playfully to present the chili paste to you as though one might present a crown to a king. You rolled your eyes, taking the red paste out of his hand and tossing it into your basket without a second glance in his direction. “Aw, don’t ignore me, angel.” You were beginning to feel confused and, more prevalently, annoyed at the sudden use of your favorite pet name.
“What’re you doing here?” you asked, ignoring his whining, and he straightened up, trailing behind you as you made your way to the produce section, searching for scallions among the recesses of the greens section.
“I just dropped by to grab something for dinner.”
“God, just my luck.” you said with a deep exhale as you bent down to grab a properly sized bundle of your desired onions from the stacks of produce. “What are the odds of meeting you here for the same reason?”
“Maybe it was fated.” he said with a shrug, and you whirled to craned your neck to face him with furrowed eyebrows.
“Since when did you start saying weird stuff like that?”
“Since Mingyu punching me in the face wasn’t a possible repercussion of my actions anymore.” he shrugged, and you could feel your cheeks growing a little warm at his strange behavior. Had Minghao always looked at you so mischievously? Had he always watched you with stars in his eyes when you were simply completing mundane, daily tasks? You shook the odd thoughts out of your head, searching for a witty comeback to throw at him to damper his grin, and hopefully cover up your flaming face.
“Me punching you is still a very plausible repercussion, and as you can see, my fists are ready and available.” That seemed to do the trick until he recovered from the snarky remark, flashing a charming smile.
“Not with that basket in your arms.” he said, picking it up out of your hands and holding it in his own, and you noticed how hot his hands were when his skin came in contact briefly with your own. “I can take that off your hands.” You failed to give a response, immersing yourself in finding the right package of ginger to distract yourself. Minghao’s eyes traveled over the ingredients in your basket, and his eyes lit up with excitement when he realized what you would be making later that night. “Are you making mapo tofu for dinner?”
“I am.” you said in response, and he bounced contentedly.
“Excellent. I’ll bring stir fry.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa.” you said, pushing a hand in his face as you dropped a stem of fresh ginger into the basket clutched in his hands. “I only have the capacity to deal with one hyperactive male idiot today, and that’s my brother. I thought you were making dinner for yourself. ”
“I was going to. But it’s just so sweet of you to invite me over for dinner, how could I refuse?” he simpered pretentiously, and you scowled, letting out an exasperated breath as you gave up on trying to understand him.
“Alright, whatever. Come over if you want.” Minghao smiled in triumph at your response, following along behind you as you made your way to the cashier, pulling out your credit card from your wallet. You turned at the last moment before you approached the little conveyor belt to carry your basket to the register, pushing a finger so close to Minghao’s face it almost pressed against his nose. “That stir fry better have snow peas. And a generous amount of meat.” He grinned coyly, giving you a playful salute as you handed your card to the cashier.
“Yes ma’am.”
𖡼𖤣𖥧𖡼𓋼𖤣𖥧𓋼𓍊
You simply could not believe that after practically a decade since you had met Minghao, he was still capable of convincing you he was a good cook. Tomato and eggs was among about three dishes, all of which were egg focused, that he could cook, and when he tried to cook anything else, it was a disaster waiting to happen. So when he told you he didn’t have time to cook the stir fry at home, you naturally excused it and told him to take a seat.
You shouldn’t have let him convince you to let him help with dinner, but the heaps of groceries in the canvas bag he toted in his hand that he had brought in preparation made you feel bad. So you allowed him a third of the kitchen to make his silly little stir fry, which turned out to be more of a science experiment than anything.
“Minghao, stop.” you said for what had to be the sixteenth time that night, sighing as you took the knife away from his, careful not to cut yourself. “You do not need to cut the carrots that small.”
“They’re a choking hazard.” he argued, and you had to suppress the urge to smack him. What happened to the peaceful Minghao from yesterday? Because you desperately wanted him back. You pressed both of your hands to the small of his back, shoving hard and sending him out of the kitchen with one push.
“Stay out. Go play with Junhui or something.”
“Play? I’m not five.” he said sassily, and laughed under your breath as he stomped away petulantly to go find your brother, likely about to drag him into playing a video game or whatever they did when they were together. It seems that Minghao’s sympathetic ‘post-y/n-breakup period’ had passed quickly, and he had shifted into some kind of mix of flirtiness and consistent pain in the ass. He often would set his hands on your shoulder for just a second too long, or smile charmingly when you asked him a question he didn’t know the answer to, going as far as dropping a pick up line or two when your brother was out of earshot. He sure knew how to use his looks to convince you to do things. A mere few minutes after you had begun to cook peacefully, a voice startled you out of your culinary reverie.
“Y/n!” Jun yelled from the other room, and you rolled your eyes, checking the wok full of bubbling sauce to make sure it wouldn’t burn before abandoning Minghao’s butchered pile of carrot chunks that you had been attempting to repair and making your way to the hallway.
“What?!” you yelled back, head peeking into the hallway where your brother’s voice was coming from, and immediately sticking out your tongue at the sight you were confronted with. “Put a shirt on, you freak!” you yelled at your shirtless brother, who was running around like a chicken with its head cut off, one hand clutching the towel hanging around his waist and the other held out in front of him as he dashed through the hall.
“Y/n! Where’d my freaking purple shirt go? I’ve been looking for it for ten freaking minutes!” he yelled, and you appreciated how much of an effort he was making not to curse, despite sounding a bit silly in the process.
“How would I know?” you screeched in response, not daring to take a step into the hallway lest you see your brother naked and permanently traumatize yourself. He didn’t respond, too immersed in his own panic, and you assumed he had a date or something important happening that got him so worked up. Letting out a breath of exasperation, you entered the hall cautiously, faintly recalling that you had borrowed his lavender button up for a meeting with your friends, and you reluctantly made your way to your bedroom, praying to god that you didn’t incidentally walk past your brother finding clothes, or lack thereof.
You were surprised to see your bedroom door firmly shut, the white door pushed into its frame and a faint voice coming from behind it. You didn’t recall inviting anyone into your room, in fact, there was an explicit sign taped to the front of the white wood that stated “y/n’s room: keep out”. You pressed one of your ears against the door lightly, picking up traces of a conversation coming from a low voice, a conversation that was whispered in hushed tones and seemed very one sided.
“Alright. I said I’d do it.” a voice said exasperatedly, and you recognized it to be Minghao’s low cappuccino voice from behind the door, seemingly annoyed and speaking on the phone. “I’ll meet you tomorrow. Nothing stupid, okay?” He seemed somewhat satisfied with the answer coming from the receiver as he hung up the phone, opening the door and almost smashing into your head. You scrambled backwards, managing to make yourself look busy with something you had snatched from the bookshelf next to you, studying what you later realized was a snow globe.
Minghao, one hand on the doorknob and another holding his phone, looked at you with wide eyes, surprise evident on his face from your sudden appearance. Shock melted into ostentation as he smirked, resting the hand that held his phone against the doorframe as he watched you panic, “Eavesdropping, are we?” You shook your head, looking up at him with an unconvincing indignation.
“Huh? No, what? I wasn’t.” you defended lamely, shaking your head and placing the snow globe back on the bookshelf. “What’re you doing in my room?”
“What, is it illegal to go into my best friend’s room?” he asked, and you crossed your arms, giving him a knowing look.
“You’re Junhui’s best friend, and I’m his little sister. He’d be pissed.” He shrugged, and you took notice of a lollipop he held between his pointer and middle finger, drooping from his hand like a cigarette before he brought the cherry red sucker to his lips and licked a stripe up the side. “Where’d you get the lollipop?” An idea seemed to pass through his mind as he tilted his head to the side, a smile coming across his face that signaled something bad was about to come out of his mouth.
“Your underwear drawer.” That was the last thing he said before you slapped the daylights out of him.
Jun had barely managed, shirtless and covered in water, to stop you from obliterating Minghao any further than you already had as the brunette boy stood, hand pressed to his reddening face, laughing like a madman.
Minghao’s stir fry was never actually completed, the long forgotten carrots abandoned on the cutting board, and you burnt the mapo tofu horribly, considering you had left it in the pan for almost 15 minutes without attending to it. The smell of incinerated tofu seemed to be permanently wafting through the little apartment, all windows open to relieve the home of the scorched smell, to no avail. Dinner, safe to say, was an absolute failure, which only resulted in a red faced Minghao and beyond “caramelized” sauce, but still. He made you laugh all night.
“I don’t think I’ll ever understand your dynamic.” Jun said, chopsticks protruding from the corner of his mouth as he munched on a badly burnt piece of tofu. “You’re always at each other’s throats, yet you seem weirdly… serene isn’t the right word.”
“Maybe it is.” Minghao said, who had calmed himself once his adrenaline died down and he began to feel the actual sting from the abrasion on his face. “I think we’re pretty serene, wouldn’t you say?” Your brother seemed to give him a vaguely confused and suspicious look, but you ignored him, nodding around a mouthful of rice.
“I think I’d say so.” You gulped down your bite. “But I just slapped you in the face, so I don’t know if my word is reliable.” you coughed out, and Jun stood, pushing his chair in and jabbing a finger towards the hallway to signal his need for the bathroom.
“I didn’t mind, you know.” Hao said nonchalantly once Jun was out of view, resting an elbow on the table and cradling his head in his hand. You gave him a skeptical look, but he just stared back at you. It made you wonder, did he always have such eyes? Eyes that held an infinite galaxy behind them? Such inexplicable eyes. “If seeing that smile on your face means you have to slap me daily, I wouldn’t mind.”
“God, I don’t know what’s gotten into you.” your cheeks flamed.

It was either the pale yellow dress, or the white pantsuit. You were honestly having quite a hard time choosing, both seeming like the wrong option.
Today was the day of your blind date, and rather than setting you up properly, Dahyun had chosen to pass your phone number to the menace Vernon himself, who told you the location and time through a drunken text last night at 2 am. Sufficient to say, you were not satisfied with the arrangement.
However, you persisted, keeping your word, which led you here. To an hour-long struggle about which outfit to wear to the date that might be the saving grace needed to revive your love life, or might be a disaster.
“The yellow.” Junhui said, resting against the doorframe with his arms crossed tightly over his chest and his jaw set. He had been less than happy all yesterday once finding out about your sudden plans that interrupted weekly “sibling time” —Vernon planned the date for a very bad day— and you had been putting up with your petulant older brother all morning. He was especially cranky considering the bad outcome of his date three days previous, and the fact that the very boy who stole his new “potential girlfriend” was the one ruining his bonding time. “What’s Vernon Chwe got planned that’s so important it interrupts our time?” You rolled your eyes less than subtly.
“Jun, we have plans every week. One missed day of bonding time isn’t going to ruin our relationship.” He’s right. The yellow dress was the best choice. You picked up the dress as Jun turned around to let you change in privacy.
“Still, Vernon? Honestly.” he huffed, releasing his grip on his arms and letting them drop to his sides. You came out from the closet area, fully clothed, and he turned back around, wagging a warning finger at you. “Don’t stay out too late. And-”
“Don’t stay out late?” you scoffed, hands to your ear and adjusting the new earrings you had bought, two little white daisies with a delicate gold chain that dangled so long it almost touched your shoulder. “What am I, fifteen?”
“-And don’t let Mingyu know.” Jun finished, and your jaw tightened, hands dropping from your ear.
“I got it.” you said tensely. “Don’t worry about Mingyu. I don’t think he cares.”
“If you say so.” Junhui said with a little sigh, backing away from the door. “Have fun. I’m making dinner, if you make it back in time.”
“Alright, I’ll try.” you said, brushing off the dust from the skirt of your dress and running up to your brother quickly, planting a light kiss on his cheek as you snatched your purse from the handle of your door. “See you soon Jun!”
“Have a good time!” he called after you, watching as you slipped on your converse and ran out the door. As soon as the door closed and you were out of sight, his smile dropped, melting into a look of concern. “She’s not telling me something.” He mused, exhaling deeply and trying to shake off his worries as he went to the kitchen. Maybe cutting up some of the peaches from outside would make him feel better.

You weren’t early. In fact, you were right on time, sitting at a little chestnut colored table in the corner of the cafe, strumming your fingers across the wooden surface with an expectant look on your face. It was 5:30, and the cafe wasn’t rather busy yet, considering that it was far from campus and the students were busy at the nearby, always crowded boba shop. The nice location was one thing you thanked Vernon for, you supposed. You glanced down at the watch on your wrist. It was Jun's, and your brother had insisted you bring it with you in case your phone died, which was unlikely, but you appreciated the thought. The face now read 5:45, and you let out a little sigh.
No, it wasn’t that you were early. It was that your date was late.
“My apologies for the tardiness.” a voice said from behind you, and you let out a shaky exhale at the sudden startle. The voice sounded oddly familiar, but by the time you turned to see who it was, they were gone, a rustling sound now coming from across you. The sight you were met with when you turned around was hardly something you could have expected, in fact, it was likely the last person you thought you would see.
“Minghao?” you asked in utter disbelief, and the boy only smiled, leaning his head on his upturned palm, elbow resting on the table.
“Hello, y/n.”
“You don’t seem surprised to see me.”
“I could recognize you anywhere, even if it’s just the back of your head.” he smiled, and you rolled your eyes, a smile creeping onto your face despite your annoyance. “Vernon’s a pretty bad planner, isn’t he?”
“I thought he knew we knew each other.” you said with a small chuckle. “If I knew Vernon was setting me up with you, I never would’ve come.” A pout came across the older boy’s face as he leaned back in his seat.
“Oh, y/n. That wounds me.” he feigned insult, pressing his hand over his heart dramatically, and you clicked your tongue.
“Like you wouldn’t have skipped out yourself if you knew.” you scoffed, and he shook his head seriously, the beginning of a smirk creeping onto his lips.
“I still would’ve come.” Your cheeks warmed up slightly at his nonchalant comment. Lately, it felt like you were blushing around him a lot more than usual.
“Right.” you brushed off his comment and cleared his throat, hoping he assumed you were unaffected and didn’t notice the flustered look on your face. “You think Vernon knows I’m Jun’s sister?”
“Likely not. Vernon’s a little innocent at times, some say clueless.” Minghao sat up straight as the waiter dropped by, placing two coffees on the table and a pastry.
“Odd. I didn’t order anything.” Minghao picked at the pastry, inspecting the filling and sighing disappointedly when he discovered it was apple.
“Maybe fate knew we needed some coffee to get us through the day,” he joked. You nodded in agreement, picking up your cup of much-needed caffeine in a toast before bringing it to your lips and taking a long sip of the rejuvenating liquid. Minghao did the same, eyes drifting to the front counter of the cafe and laughing under his breath at something he saw. While he seemed distracted, you took the chance to silently address him properly, shamelessly looking him up and down.
He dressed up. Minghao was never one to be caught wearing anything less than fabulous, but he seemed to have dressed to impress more than usual, wearing a pair of khaki pants, a long sleeve white blouse, a large light brown coat, a beret and– were those suspenders? You had never seen him looking so refined and, well, beautiful. But all you could think of was how the poor boy must be sweltering under all the layers.
“I didn’t think I looked that good.” he said, and you brought your eyes back up to his face only to see a shit-eating grin across his lips. “But judging by your expression I assume I made the right choice on what to wear.” You covered your mouth, hoping your horror at being caught wasn’t conveyed obviously on your face, but judging by how his smile only widened, your cheeks were probably flaming.
“Don’t be so full of yourself.” you countered lamely.
“Don’t worry, angel. You’re the most stunning one here today.” Great. You think your face just got even warmer. You only chuckled awkwardly in response.
“What’s got you so flirty lately?” you asked, laughing nervously.
“Your lack of a boyfriend, I suppose.” he said, resting his chin on his fist. Was this how it was supposed to be, then? Was Minghao always going to be this way, and Mingyu was just in the way? Maybe it didn’t seem like a big deal, but it made your head hurt just thinking about it, so you decided not to.
“Right.” you said quietly, and Minghao seemed to notice your change in attitude, quickly composing himself and shifting away from his previous playful demeanor. A few moments of silence passed between the two of you as you picked uselessly at the uneaten pastry in the middle of the table, your coffee growing cold.
“You wanna know something?” he asked, finally breaking the silence, and you looked up to meet his eyes. “I think Vernon is shit at planning a date.” This finally elicited a giggle from you, and Minghao stood, pushing in his chair and nodding his head for you to follow him. “You wanna get out of here?”
“You read my mind.” you laughed, grabbing your purse hanging from the back of the chair and pulling it onto your shoulder. Minghao offered his hand, and you hesitated to take it, hands waiting nervously at your sides. “Is the coffee paid for?” You saw Minghao look over to the counter, and you swore you could’ve seen him send a wink to a particularly familiar cafe worker before he turned back to you.
“Doesn’t matter. They can’t catch us if we run.”
“Xu Minghao, you are a bad influence.” you suppressed a smile, finally taking his hand and allowing him to lead you out of the cafe as he beamed.
Neither of you had a particular place in mind to go. Minghao lived over thirty minutes by car away from the inconveniently placed cafe, a two hour commute on foot, and it made no sense to walk there only to grab his car and drive to another location. Your car was unfortunately being fixed by a friend of yours, Seungcheol, who had promised it would be done multiple days ago, but it unfortunately turned out to be an empty promise. So, the two of you merely walked around town together, Minghao’s hands in his pockets and yours strangely itching to hold his.
“So, your love life has been boring I’m going to assume.” he said, pulling off his topmost layer, the burdensome coat, and unbuttoning the top of his shirt, letting out a breath of relief once he felt the wind on his exposed neck.
“That’s a silly question.” you laughed scornfully under your breath. “You know it has been. Especially since the breakup.” He nodded, avoiding your gaze. “What about you, Hao? I would’ve thought you’d be good with the ladies. I have an excuse for wanting to go on a blind date, but you don’t.” He clicked his tongue, looking at his shoes as the two of you wandered to nowhere in particular. Minghao seemed to ponder this statement for quite a while, no response coming from him as he thought, staring out at the sun and the way it was beginning to set in the sky, sending streaks of pinks and orange through the previously blue horizon.
“I’ve had someone in my heart for a while. I thought going on a date might help me get over her.” At his words, you looked up with surprise evident on your face, which quickly transformed into pure delight.
“Oo, Minghao’s in love?” you asked teasingly, and he further avoided meeting your eyes, kicking at a pebble lying on the pavement. “Oh, come on, Hao. You have to tell me who it is.” When he finally made eye contact, you noticed the bittersweet look in his eyes, how he watched you with disdain, before biting his lip and looking away again, distracting himself with another pebble found on the floor.
“You don’t want to know.” he said, and you knew to leave it alone, which you did.
The silence held a tension that had never been present between you and him. You and Minghao always had somewhat of a comfortable aura when you were together, whether you were bantering, cooking, studying, or trading secrets on the couch at 2 am while Junhui was still asleep. But today, something was different.
Something felt strange as the sun set in the sky, and with every inch that the star dipped down below the horizon, the urge to hold his hand only grew stronger, but you attempted to banish the thought from your head. You gulped, hoping it might satiate the burning feeling in your stomach, but it did nothing.
A few seconds that felt like an eternity passed before you finally mustered up the courage to hold out your hand, which he looked at dully, not seeming to quite understand what you were asking for.
“What?”
“Hold my hand.” It sounded like a demand rather than a question, and he widened his eyes, taken aback by the sudden offer. Neither of you quite realized that you both had stopped walking, your hand unwavering and hovering between the two of you, Minghao’s still firmly tucked into his pockets. “Hao. Hold my hand.” After a moment, realization creeped across his face, and he chuckled, placing his hand in yours and intertwining your fingers. His skin was soft, just the faintest bit of sweat across his palm, and you could smell the sweet fragrance of his hand lotion.
“Thanks, angel. I needed that.” You suppressed a smile at the pet name. He seemed to have developed a fondness for it, and you couldn’t help but find it a little cute.
After a moment of thinking, you shook your head, attempting to rid yourself of these sudden thoughts. This was Minghao. The idiot who forgot to pick up a licenseless 17 year old Jun from kung fu practice and left the boy to cry by himself in front of a 7/11. The boy who stayed up watching movies with you until three in the morning when you got rejected by Yoon Jeonghan in front of the entire school, the boy who drove halfway across town to get you takeout from your favorite restaurant while you had nasty cramps, the boy who took you out to prom when you were stood up, the boy that taught you wushu after a girl at school beat you in a fistfight, and helped kick her and her boyfriend’s ass when they wanted a rematch. The boy that was always there for you and – shit, now you’re blushing again.
“You ok?” he asked, leaning down to get a better look at your face. “Your hand is warm. Are you sick?” He smiled wolfishly. “Or is that just my effect on you?”
“You never stop.” you scoffed under your breath, and he laughed in response, squeezing your hand comfortingly. “Confidence is attractive, but there’s a thin line between that and arrogance, you know.”
“You love it.” he said, facing the sky.
“Yeah. Maybe I do.” you snapped back, and he coughed on his own saliva, which elicited a giggle, making him whirl to face you with an embarrassed look on his face. “What? Are you the only one allowed to drop snarky one-liners?”
“Wen y/n, when I get my hands on you-”
“You already have them on me.” you said back, and he stuttered, attempting to formulate a witty response. You took advantage of his silence, changing the topic as something large and sparkling entered your peripheral vision. “Oh look, a diner!” you exclaimed excitedly, letting go of his hand to run up the driveway of a cute restaurant, decorated like it just came out of the fifties. When Minghao didn’t follow, you turned back to beckon him forward with a wide smile on your face. “Come on!”
“Coming, coming.” he said with a sigh, tucking his lonely hand back into his pocket and trudging up the concrete driveway.
He really didn’t want you to let go of his hand yet.

The sun had fallen far past the horizon by the time you were seated in the cushy crimson leather booth, and it made you wonder how time could fly by so fast. It seemed as though a mere hour before it was only 5:3o.
“Hello.” a sweet looking young man said, approaching your table with a pad of paper in his hand and a pink apron tied around his waist, straws and plastic forks tucked into the gaping pockets. With his free hand, he set down two opaque plastic glasses on the table, filled to the brim with ice cold water and a red straw dangling from the side. “My name is Wonwoo, and I’ll be your server for today.” You both gave him a nod of acknowledgement and he flashed a smile that seemed sent straight from the heavens, pearly whites all displayed in a row. “What can I get for you guys tonight?” You could’ve sworn that Minghao had scooted closer from his position when you first sat down, his thigh lightly pressing against yours, your exposed skin hitting the soft fabric of his tan pants, and you inched away to put some space between you, hoping he wasn’t close enough to hear your erratic heartbeat.
“You want food?” Minghao turned and asked nonchalantly, and you nodded, already feeling your stomach rumbling in protest of your lack of lunch. He turned back to the server, clearing his throat as his eyes scanned the menu. “One American style cheeseburger, and one chicken sandwich, with light sauce and no onions, please.” You grinned subtly at the fact that he remembered your food preferences.
“No problem.” Wonwoo muttered under his breath, hastily writing down your order, the pen cap perched between his teeth as he scrawled. He removed the cap from his lips, twirling it between his fingers as he looked up again, eyes searching between the two of you. “Any drinks with that? Something for the lady?” Minghao didn’t miss the way the older boy’s eyes scanned you, subtly attempting to look you up and down with his peripherals and grinning when your eyes met his. You were surprised at the sweet looking smile the angelic boy sent you when you looked up, and you smiled back in response. Minghao, on the other hand, scowled insecurely and draped his arm across the back of the seats, his sleeve rolled up and the bare, hot skin of his lower arms mere centimeters away from the back of your neck.
“You want a drink?” he asked, leaning in, and your face flushed, nodding as you attempted to hide behind your menu. “Sure, we’ll take a strawberry milkshake.” Minghao held up two fingers as he challenged the waiter with his eyes alone. “Two straws, please.” Wonwoo coughed awkwardly, making sure to note it down on his paper.
“Of course,” he said politely. “Will that be all?” When Minghao nodded in confirmation, he gathered the menus in one sweep before turning and walking away stiffly. Minghao laughed under his breath, and you rolled your eyes.
“Was that really necessary?”
“Of course it was.” Now that the tension had dissipated and the server was far away from your table, you expected him to move away, but he simply moved his arm a bit closer, using his free hand to tuck a strand of flyaway hair behind your ear.
He was close, much too close. He was close enough that you could detect the subtle scent of his sweet cologne, feel the silkiness of his blouse on your arm and see every detail in his bright, brown eyes. A few strands of his hazelnut hair dangled in front of his eyes, and you resisted the urge to brush them away. Before you could act on the feeling, he reached up to push his hair away himself, and you cleared your throat to ease the scratchy feeling in your esophagus.
You couldn’t tear your eyes off of him. You couldn’t recall a time you had felt like this before, nervous and sweating, yet so content to simply sit and watch as he brushed a spot of dust off of his clean blouse. A warm feeling crept into your stomach, and you weren’t sure where it was coming from, but you desperately wanted it to go away.
“Something the matter?” Minghao said with concern, seeming to have noticed the way your brows had furrowed and your lower lip was tugged between your teeth.
“Nothing at all.” you dismissed, and he nodded skeptically in response.
“I’m sorry.” he said suddenly, the abrupt apology surprising you. “I know this probably wasn’t the date you were imagining. After your breakup, I’m sure the last thing you needed was to be matched up with me…” he trailed off, avoiding your gaze as he looked out the window, chin resting on his hand.
“No, that’s not it at all.” a quiet sigh escaped your lips, and he turned back to you with glassy and unblinking eyes. “I had a nice time today. If anything, I’m glad it was you.” His eyes widened at that, smile lines appearing slightly in his cheeks as his lips spread in excitement.
“You mean that?”
“Of course. You’re my best friend, after all.” He chuckled in response, pushing a strand of flyaway hair behind his ear.
“Of course.” That same silence washed over you again, its hands gripping tightly around your throat and choking out all the words you wanted to say.
The sun was already low in the sky, the streaks of pink and orange that had painted the horizon melting into a soothing navy blue, stars freckling across the heavens like flickers of white paint. It was a cool night, the soft breeze filtering through the leaves of the trees, sending petals of the newly blooming cherry blossoms down the street.
It was a nice night. Too nice to be spent in silence.
Just as you were about to break the tension by speaking, a presence burst through the front door of the diner, tired, disheveled, and clearly upset.
“Xu Minghao!” he yelled, disturbing the customers, and you couldn’t tell if it was sadness or anger that was laced in his voice. He stomped over to your table, putting a large hand down on the marble counter with a frown, a bead of sweat dripping down his forehead. “You didn’t pay for that croissant, you asshole.”
“You gave me apple.” Minghao said, tucking the straw of his water in between his lips and taking a small sip with satisfaction. “I don’t pay for things I didn’t order.” Vernon stumbled over his words, blowing out a frustrated breath as he settled on no response. You took note of his uniform, an extremely familiar tan apron around his waist, a black, chalkboard name tag dangling from the right strap that clearly read “Jihoon”, which was certainly not his name. It suddenly dawned on you where you had seen it before, and you pointed an accusatory finger at him.
“You were working at the cafe!” you said, mouth gaping as Vernon only gave you a sheepish grin in return to your exclamation. You turned to your brunette companion who was sipping on water, an amused smile dancing across his face. “Was this your doing? I knew I saw you smile towards the front earlier!”
“I didn’t do anything, angel.” Minghao said, raising his hands in supposed innocence. “Ask the little doorway creep why he was following us, not me.” Vernon pointed to himself, wondering if he was the alleged ‘doorway creep’ your date had mentioned, and you put up a defensive hand in front of him out of pity for the poor, thoroughly disoriented boy.
“Hey, at least he tried. You have to give him props for finally getting you to go on a date. You’re gathering dust at this point.” you fired back, and Minghao smiled in acknowledgement and surrender, seemingly giving up on the banter. Vernon watched the two of you go back and forth suspiciously, a hand rubbing at his chin thoughtfully as he listened to your exchange.
“You seem like you know each other.” he said slowly, and Minghao sighed.
“Vernon,” he said, cupping your chin with one of his hands, which you found to be very soft and warm, and smelling significantly of strawberries. “Meet Wen Y/n. Junhui’s sister.” Realization creeped onto Vernon’s face as his eyes widened, confusion evident in the young boy’s expression.
“Oh shit. You’re Mingyu’s ex.” he cursed, and you tensed up at the mention of your previous boyfriend. “Dahyun didn’t tell me you were that y/n.”
“How many y/ns could there possibly be in our school?” you scoffed, and your brunette companion laughed under his breath, covering it up with a cough. It really wasn’t Vernon’s fault he could be painfully oblivious at times, both of you knew that.
“A few, I guess.” he shrugged, tucking the apron under his arm. “Sorry about that. You must know each other pretty well then, if you really are Junhui’s sister.”
“I’ve known this nerdy brat since she played with trucks and her baby teeth were still growing in. Voluntarily or not, I know everything there is to know about her.” You slapped him on the arm, and he winced with a little frown on his plump lips. “What? Am I wrong?”
“Yeah, well you were still in your Power Rangers phase when I met you. I wasn’t the only nerd.” you bit back, and his eyes widened in betrayal.
“Hey, that information was told to you in confidence!”
“It’s not my fault you were 11 and still liked men and women who danced around in rainbow suits fighting evil.” Despite your bickering, you both looked rather amused with the conversation, fully immersed in finding the perfect diss for your inner 6th grade selves as Vernon watched you with a subtle little smile.
“Yellow is the best of the rangers, easily. She was such a badass.”
“You’re full of shit.” Minghao huffed, arms crossed as he contemplated your suggestion, firmly disagreeing. “Green is the obviously coolest one. Did you see his suit? He has a whole golden breastplate.”
“That’s not a breastplate, Minghao.”
“What’s it called then, genius?”
“Sorry, I’m not exactly a connoisseur of technical terms when it comes to power ranger suits. But if you find one of those, let me know.”
“You guys are a cute couple.” Both of you halted your argument immediately to turn to the younger boy with vehement shock and embarrassment obvious on your faces, which were growing redder by the minute.
“What did you say?” Minghao scoffed, a nervous type of scoff that revealed how caught off guard he was by his trembling voice and hot face, which was progressively getting warmer. You looked equally flustered, frozen in your spot and rooted to the seat of the sleek leather like it was the only thing keeping you grounded. Vernon, however, seemed to see nothing out of the blue with his statement.
“You guys are a cute couple-” he repeated densely, and Hao waved him off.
“Yeah, I heard what you said.”
“Then why’d you ask me to repeat it?” Vernon questioned with furrowed eyebrows, and you both ignored him, coughing and readjusting in your seats.
“Go home, Vernon. I’ll comp you the money later.” The younger of the two boys seemed awfully confused by his sudden dismissal, but he obeyed and left the diner with a promise of being returned his lost money. However, even after his exit, the tension between the two of you remained.
You had never thought of being anything more than friends with Minghao. Sure, he was beautiful and arguably understood you better than anyone else, but he was also your brother’s best friend, and classmate of your boyfriend at the time.
He was always off limits, whether being guarded by Junhui, Mingyu, or simply your own conscience telling you that he wasn’t right for you, that it could only end up poorly and possibly destroy the fragile and wonderful relationship that you had spent over a decade building. It wasn’t worth it, you always told yourself, and you never thought you could imagine him as anything more than plain old Minghao.
But Vernon Chwe calling you a cute couple suddenly filled your mind with ideas. Bad ones that could lead to dangerous feelings and even more dangerous consequences.

“uhh, jeonghan don’t stop.” you don’t know how you ended up here. you had caught jeonghan stealing money from the bank while you guys were playing monopoly, you were just arguing with him but here you were on this couch while jeonghan was pumping his fingers inside of you.
“jeonghan.” you murmured lazily, he chuckled softly “baby am i forgiven.” he questioned. he brought his lips to yours, he smelled like fresh french toast, he tasted like warm apple pie, you were so disoriented from the pleasure you were experiencing you couldn’t bring yourself to answer him “am i.” he continued hitting just the right spot inside you, “yes.” you say in much more higher pitch than usual “you are jeonghan.” you continued he bit your earlobe “good girl” jeonghan whispered in your ear.
he kissed you sloppily still pumping his fingers inside you, you felt a knot growing in your abdomen, you knew you were close. “jeonghan i’m close.” he hummed in response. he began rubbing his thumb in a circle motion on your clit lazily. he began picking up his pace pumping his fingers more quickly “mmm jeonghan.” you moaned softly “jeonghan, i’m close close.” you continued “then cum.” he rubbed your clit more faster “cum if i’m forgiven.” you felt the knot in your stomach untying and that’s all it took for you to come undone.
“ahh jeonghan.” you scream out in pleasure, as you hit your orgasm he continues pumping his fingers in and out of you, he’s still rubbing your clit to help you ride out your orgasm. “mm jeonghan, i want you jeonghan.” he tsked “i’m right here pretty.” you shook your head, you pinched his tricep “nonono i want you.” you emphasised the ‘you’ “you know what, its fine.” he kissed in between your tits “i’m supposed to be asking for forgiveness.” you giggled, jeonghan got up from the couch while unbuckling his belt, pulling his boxers and jeans off.
he pumped his cock a few times, he slowly aligned his cock with your entrance. he teased his tip and slowly entered. he lazily started thrusting inside you, “aah jeonghan.” you moaned. all the blood in your body was probably rushing to your brain, you forgot what you guys were arguing about but you knew he was forgiven for whatever you guys were fighting about.
jeonghan let out a low groan “so pretty so perfect.” he thrusted in and out of lazily and uncoordinatedly “tight little cunt taking me so so well.” you could tell he was close you were definitely close as well. jeonghan began licking your tits moving from one to the other finally settling on your right nipple kissing it softly and licking in a circle motion around your nipple while twisting your other nipple.
you started kissing the side of jeonghan’s jaw sloppily, the familiar feeling returning in your abdomen “mm hannie m’gonna cum.” he hummed “ m’close too.” jeonghan panted still thrusting uncoordinatedly but still hitting your g-spot perfectly. jeonghan started kissing you messily. you start to carelessly search for something to hold onto. jeonghan starts to thrust more rapidly, you guys joined in a wet and needy kiss “pretty girl i’m not going to last that long.” you brought your thumb to your clit rubbing it quickly and messily.
jeonghan let out a low groan “i’m sorry baby.” he started peppering your collarbone with wet kisses “so sorry.” he continued “where do you want me.” jeonghan panted out “inside i want you to finish inside of me.” you felt the knot in your abdomen slowly come undone and without warning you were cumming, jeonghan kept on thrusting in and out of you and he moved your thumb and replaced it with his own, to help you ride out your high, you were so fucked out and after a few seconds jeonghan was cumming aswell.
“you promise to never cheat again.” you teased jeonghan “well i mean if i get to have you like this every time i cheat.” jeonghan got up from the couch, you giggled and slapped his shoulder playfully. jeonghan left for a few seconds and then came back with a towel, he cleaned you up. “jeonghan do you want to play uno?”
