James and Remus sometimes get particularly fond of country music so Remus will play acoustic guitar and James will sit and sing with him- Sirius pretends he hates it, even though it actually makes his heart explode in his chest every time they do it.

marauders fame au fic idea

i started writing this fame au fanfiction about the marauders. where regulus, barty, and evan are in a band. remus manages them. they make music that closely resembled the arctic monkeys and they're all lowkey depressed. and it has like slowburn rosekiller, meet cute jegulus, and not so meet cute wolfstar. plus lily's there as remus's childhood best friend but they aren't getting along and there's a redemption arc. but i never finished writing it.

if anyone cares, regulus was the singer, barty played the drums, evan played guitar. and remus had a lot of sarcastic quips.

Slytherin Skittles - Lead Singer: Pandora Rosier (duh), Guitarist/other singer (idk what the second singer is called): Regulus Black (I mainly did this for the Black brothers parallels), Drums: Barty Crouch Jr., Keyboard: Dorcas Meadowes, Bassist: Evan Rosier, Genre: indie rock 100%

What's a God (To a Non-Believer?)

Okok i'm still working on this band AU drabble and I literally haven't written anything other than poetry in years but it's turning out longer than I thought it would because I keep having ideas. I wanted to write this as a belated bday gift for @greenvlvetcouch but also shoutout to @lemndrps and @spookymoonie bc I have been devouring ur fics recently <3

I'm rlly struggling with the formatting and dialogue is so fucking hard!!! I'll get there eventually. Massive respect to fic writers because I lowkey forgot how hard this is. Also I never post on Tumblr even though I've been active here for 11 years (!!!!!!) so pls forgive the tags etc I'm Trying.

Anyway there's a little excerpt under the cut because vibes.

Regs mouth twisted into a smirk, voice silk smooth with the clipped aristocratic accent he’d never really managed to shake. “Muzzle your dog, Rosier," he tilted his head, eyes narrowing, "or I'll do it for you."

Evans fingers hooked into the simple leather collar at Barty’s throat, face impassive as he tugged at his neck. “Behave, puppy.” His tone was mocking, white-blonde hair tucked neatly behind his ears. “Say please.”

Barty’s responding cackle was wild and venomous, canines gleaming slick in the multicoloured light, the tattoos across his throat warped with the way the collar bit against his skin.

Evan leaned down, face still flat, to lick directly across Barty’s teeth. Sirius grinned and it felt odd, off-kilter and a bit mean.

Sometimes he considered it: joining them, just for a night. He wouldn’t, though, partially because he knew they’d both fucked his brother at some point and that would be gross, and partially because they both wanted to, and he couldn’t give them the satisfaction.

It was tempting, though, particularly on nights like this. On nights when his skin felt too tight, his blood too close to the surface. On nights when he wanted to be sliced open just a little bit to let some of the pressure out.

Sirius knew if you wanted someone to rip you open, Barty would do it with pleasure and Evan would watch with clinical interest, and neither would bother to offer a Band-Aid afterwards.

marauders / skittles band au

okay so hear me out the marauders band au is already an established thing right?

my take is remus - bass, sirius - voice + guitar peter - drums, james - guitar

but here’s the twist the skittles are also a band who are on tour at the same time

so dorcas - bass, pandora - voice, evan - drums, barty - guitar, reg - voice, guitar

lily and mary are their own duo who open for the skittles often and marlene is the manager for the marauders

the marauders and the skittles are rival bands who compete since they both have huge fanbases, but their tour buses break down while they’re traveling and they’re forced to interact

no ships would be established yet at all since both bands had a no inter-band dating rule and then everything goes out the window yay

it would probably end in wolfstar, jegulily, dorlene, and rosekiller (or maybe jegulus and pandalily)

idk i’m not a writer but it’s kinda cool maybe i’ll draw it

marauders band aus are GREAT, yes. but has ANYONE thought about a marauders band au ONE DIRECTION’S VERSION?? LIKE???

okay so it’s literally just 1D but with the marauders, they go to the x-factor all that, shitty management, hiatus, all of it.

and reg of course would also be famous probably like an actor, BUT evan and barty are lawyers (it’ll be important later trust me.)

so they decide to switch management, but it’s this whole legal process (james and reg are dating at this point) and who’s their lawyers who win the case?? EVAN AND BARTY. they go on hiatus after winning it (or in the middle of it to keep it off the media)

so they re-record their music, make new music take it all on their own pace, release some solo music/projects. LIKE??

dorcas is a fashion designer and their stylist, marlene is a model, lily is remus best friend and becomes an author, mary is a famous singer, emmeline and pandora are actresses (maybe).

i started writing it but im only 300 words in into the first chapter and i feel like everything i write is cringey☹️

i’ll probably post little bits on here for some feedback!! i won’t be posting any chapters on ao3 tho, not until i have more written. (im still working on my pandalily fic tho!!) and i also have a canon compliant (idk yet) in progress (im not even done with the first chapter💀)
