Atsushi and kyouka are orphans adopted by the head of the demon slayers when he didn't find his love match in a woman.

Atsushi, who has great fighting instincts, hearing and olfactory memory (he can identify poisons and antidotes through smell not names) and Byakko (kirara), a demon who's served the family for generations and sometimes fuses with atsushi to get out of tough spots, has become one of the best demon slayers in the village.

He thought that chuuya killed his village so he sought revenge against him, hearing this mori gave him a page and suggested to write that he cannot feel pain (not much people know how to use the book so atsushi didn't write anything else, common misconception is that one page can only grant one thing). He got defeated, mori took the page (since it still has a lot of space) and atsushi has joined the group while retaining his ability to not feel pain (which is why every time aku dismembers him, it's just an annoyance) 

Akutagawa as miroku, who got cursed with rashomon (black hole) after he tried to pickpocket mori while he's out shopping with Elise. Rashomon can only be sated with meat (prayer beads) she's currrntly fine with demon meat but in the future she'll inevitably crave her owner's flesh therefore coming him. So aku's been hunting down mori for revenge, even leaving his sister and their band of orphans to protect them from rashomon's appetite. 

He saw Dazai with a lot of THE Book's pages and decided to steal it (for more power to defeat mori), however higuchi (hachiemon), a tanuki-dog who's been loyal to him ever since he saved her from a more powerful demon (honestly rashomon was just famished), pointed out chuuya. He can recognize strength when he sees it so they decided that higuchi will distract them while aku steals the pages. But Dazai predicted it (as always) so Chuuya attacks him to take back the pages, he retaliates with rashomon but Dazai stopped it (Dazai can nullify abilities now, it was the first thing he wrote on the pages they found, he's crafty like that. Chuuya got mad at him for it, but.... eh. Chuuya can't complain when dazai saves him using his nullification).

Aku's respect for dazai spreads like wildfire after this and since rashomon tries to gobble someone when aku experiences high emotions, she tries to nibble dazai every now and then (chuuya is absolutely annoyed at the bright blue lights that show up whenever rashomon gets nullified, "why'd that idiot dazai have to write his nullification to be like that?!")

(And yes, the reason rashomon likes to bite off atsushi's limbs is because aku has a

ALL of My Splatoon Agents Headcanons! lets gooo 💫 this will be VERY long akdhjsdhs sorry grab a cup of tea or something.

Agent 3 (Captain): They/Them, Lofted Bed with Desk underneath

Three doesn't talk very often, only when it's absolutely necessary. In Alterna, Marie mentions that they're too shy to really speak out loud, so she speaks for them, and I read once that selective muteness is a sort of extreme anxiety response. They don't really talk to strangers or people they're not very close to, for instance Neo 3, Off the Hook, or Deep Cut lmao. They definitely talk openly with the Squid Sisters and 4 and 8 (and of course, Gramps), but will usually prefer not to if it's not necessary.

They're super badass and responsible, always getting things done in an efficient manner and doing their best with every mission. I mean, how else do you think they became Captain, right? But they also might be a little insecure, a little anxious. Yes they do their best in missions, but that's because they desperately want to be useful, because they're worried something might go wrong, things like that. They even drop out of school to be an Agent full-time (again, Captain)

In regards to the other Agents, they're kind of stern and aloof, but more in like the tired oldest sibling kind of way. Don't eat that, don't go there, you'll catch a cold, etc, taking care of the newer recruits. They picked this up from Callie and Marie, who did the same for them when they first joined. Neo 3's reckless tendencies remind them of their younger self.

Now, I mention all of this in my fics, so I'll keep it brief. Three is reckless, always pushing themselves even when they shouldn't and regularly forgetting to take care of themselves (thats when they were younger, they're definitely better about it now). They carry a sort of guilt, a sort of anxiety, about the events of Splatoon 2, and I mean both of them. They feel bad for almost killing Eight like twice, even if the second time wasn't really their fault, and they feel bad for not helping Callie when she needed it, which is also not their fault. But, you see, Callie and Marie are their older sisters. Their family. A precious part of their life that they were lucky enough to obtain when they previously had nothing. So, yeah, I guess they feel a certain type of way about what happened.

Oh, also! Sanitization scar, yeah its there, maybe not as big as everyone else draws it but it's definitely there sjfhsjdhs on their forehead splitting their right eyebrow, it's a bit like a cut. It's covered by their Captain hat now, but even then the teal green has definitely dulled over the years. Now it's just a grim reminder and nothing more.

Three used to live alone in an apartment in Inkopolis that the Squid Sisters had generously offered them. Living alone is difficult. Thankfully, Four and Eight arrived, and now they're all roommates :)

Three is, again, a bit aloof n shit, always trying to be responsible and cool, but the younger agents are experts at cracking that facade. Three is actually super soft for them!! They definitely make jokes and snort at things Four says. Hums along with songs Eight listens to and compliments her poetry.

Three thinks they're a bit annoying, Four particularly, but they also always always always help them when they're sad, or hurt (not that it happens often, they're all capable agents after all). That's what older siblings are for, after all. Isn't that great? Three has 4 siblings now! And a gramps! I'm so happy for them.

I tried to keep this short but basically all my Agent 3/Captain feelings can be found in these two fics. I poured my heart and soul into them! [Family] [Home]

DJ Sango. I don't know what to make of DJ Sango but I'm eagerly awaiting the Squid Sisters collab. Agent 3 is the secret third Squid Sister, after all.

Agent 4: She/Her, Top Bunk

I feel like Four is more…… outgoing? She's the youngest and the shortest. She's the baby. She gets Eight to do stupid shit with her and then they both get (very fondly) lectured by Three. Sometimes she convinces Three to join in and then they all get lectured by Marie instead lmao. She's kinda……. like a gremlin. A Creature. She does her best :) She's trying so hard. She's very energetic. I think she would do her best to make Eight feel welcome and comfortable and make sure that she's having fun :))

Four didn't really understand, at first. I mean, what she went through doesn't even compare to what happened in the metro, yknow? She's definitely the most, how do i say, optimistic? She usually is the one who has to do most of the comforting, but she doesn't mind. Sometimes Eight has a nightmare, and Three and Four have to comfort her. Sometimes Three needs help with their head injury, so Four and Eight have to take care of them, and that's okay.

She likes helping people, and cheering them up. That's why she helped Marie in the first place, right? She just looked so sad in the corner of the Square... Four is happy that she was able to help :) Truly, they all appreciate it more than she knows. And of course, Four is besties with Callie and Marie. Four and Callie can match each other's energy easily sjfhsjdhsj and... she was there for Marie during her lowest point so... she's very grateful :)

In the time after getting Callie back, sometimes she would go and check up on them. It's not her responsibility, she's already done more than Marie could ever repay, but she cares about them, and... it's not like she has anywhere else to go.

She comes from the countryside canonically, and also didn't know who the Squid Sisters were, but for some reason I see her as being very streetsmart and things like that. Maybe she didn't know who the Squid Sisters were before, but she definitely does now, and bonds with Eight over their love for the idols.

A bit after they all moved in with Three, Marie made Four and Eight go back to school, bummer. (This matters to no one else but me, but the high school Four and Eight go to is the same high school Callie and Marie went to.)

Four is a natural athlete, but a bit of a troublemaker. After school she likes to go play turf and do a few Grizzco shifts. Imagine her surprise when she finds out about Mr. Grizz 💀

Four is very physically affectionate, always hugging or otherwise touching the other agents. Shoving, poking, patting, punching, holding, bonking, you name it. I've definitely projected that onto the agents lmao. I'm pretty sure I've made them bonk heads with each other as a form of affection like three times now.

If Four doesn't show up in Side Order, you'll never hear from me again on account of my spontaneous combustion.

Agent 8: She/Her, Bottom Bunk.

I feel like Eight would be generally more curious/nervous about everything since, I mean, she just got to the surface yknow? (also amnesia I think.??). Also, she doesn't know inkling very well, but that's okay, she's learning! Marina helps her :)  (when Marina is busy, Shiver fills in 🤫) But, maybe by Splatoon 3 she's good enough at it that she doesn't need lessons anymore. I mean, it has been 5 years. Okay look I just want an excuse for all the Octolings to interact with each other is that too much to ask? But that's a bit difficult because Marina and Eight have more in common with their upbringing than Shiver, but that's a topic for another day.

Eight is just happy to be here!! She is incredibly strong, agile, and good with any weapon :) Think of Yor Forger. Very strong, sometimes without realizing it. A little clueless, a little silly. Red and black color scheme. As a result of this I think she would try to be very very gentle as much as possible, but she still enjoys playfully roughhousing with the other agents. She also makes a lot of goofy facial expressions. You'd think this would be Four, but no, it's her ksfhhfsdkfjh

So... the metro. Right. I think... Eight carries a sort of sadness with her. At least at first, right? It's... tough. Having to adjust to everything, losing your memory, coping with The Horrors tm. That's why she'll always be grateful to Off the Hook for offering her a place to stay at the Houzuki mansion during her first days in Inkopolis. Marina's been there, so she offers much comfort. Pearl also does her best to make her feel welcome and safe, like she did with Rina. Eventually she does go move in with Three and Four though because... because I said so ksfhjkfjhf

Eight is afraid of blenders. Autobombs.

It took a while for Three and Eight to really become... what's the word I'm looking for. Stable? I mentioned Three carrying unnecessary guilt. Eight doesn't hold it against them, of course not. But, I mean, have you seen that shit? I never played Inner Agent 3 but just watching a video of it has me awake at night dude that shit is scary as fuck. Three splashdowns in a row? Dear god. Anyway, they made up and it's chill now so it's fine. Still no blenders though.

Eight loves Off the Hook, and she loves the Squid Sisters. Calamari Inkantation and all that. Wait til she hears the banger of the century Ink Me Up dude that shit goes insanely hard. Actually, wouldn't it be so fucking funny if Eight came up one day like "Guys, I'm so obsessed with this song by a group from the Splatlands, they're called Deep Cut!" and then when Deep Cut show up as Marie's new employees she's like holy shit.

She goes to school with Four and it's the most fun she's ever had in her life (that she can remember), she doesn't understand why Four hates it so much. She's also obviously very naturally athletic, but she enjoys the arts and literature a lot more. Because she writes poetry lol 🤓

She's happy to stay an agent, I think. Maybe not on the front lines like Captain and the Squid Sisters are, but she's available as backup should she ever be needed. She wants to focus on her new life on the surface with her wonderful new family. She doesn't even remember if she had any parents, let alone friends. But now, she has all these people who care about and support her. For that, she would claw her way out of the Metro a hundred times over again. She loves them.

........So, Side Order, huh? Hehehehehe.

Damn. That's crazy.

Neo 3: They/Them, Living Arrangement Unknown

I think Neo being a gen Z kid is the funniest shit ever.

They're the hardest to think up a personality for, I don't really know what to make of them. I think they would be kind of epic, yknow? 🗿  They have no idea who any of these people are or what is happening, how did they even get into this mess bruh. Well, at least they get to hang out with Deep Cut so thats a plus. I think Neo and Four would get along the best, they both kinda have that chaotic energy, I feel. I would say Neo is like halfway between Captain and Four, personality-wise.

There's like,,,, a very vague botw Link vibe going on with them. Not sure though. I mean, look, they hang out in the desert and also have a salmonid for a pet. Like, what's goin on with all that.

They're generally very chill about everything that happened in Alterna (existentialism aside.)

"Why didn't I tell you that I went to space? Dunno. You never asked. 'S whatever. Yo, wanna see Little Buddy do a trick?"

Captian/Tristan/Three/(original) Agent 3:

♤Chew on their tentacles while thinking or stressed

-Marie noticed this and got them a chew stim but they chewed through it

♤Doesn't like showering bc their skin & tentacles are sensitive so when they found out abt sensitive soap (bc Octolings are more likely to have sensitive skin) they were like "Washing?? Isn't??? Supposed to hurt????"

♤Hygiene got better after Eight moved in with them (see prev)

♤Genuinely likes pineapple on pizza

♤Would kill a man for Crusty Sean's food/srs

♤Favorite snack is squid jerky but feels a bit bad eating it

♤VERY competitive in Ranked mode

♤They are a BEAST in Rainmaker, Tower Control, and Clam Blitz

♤Immune system isn't great so they get sick every couple months

♤Likes spicy food but it kicks their ass every time

♤Gives strong hugs but isn't huge on physical affection

-Obviously some exceptions like their partner(s), close friends & family, and if someone they care abt is sad

♡Three got her hooked on squid jerky

♡Uses gentle soap bc she has sensitive skin and tentacles

♡Likes playing turf war bc it allows her to use her military training

♡Hardly ever gets sick, she has an immune system of STEEL

Freya/Four/Agent 4:

◇Tried to get a summer job once at a fast food spot (not Crusty Sean's) but hated it and refuses to work food again

◇Argued for weeks with their parents so they could start doing Grizzco shifts

Talyn/Neo/(new) Agent 3:

♧Feels iffy about doing Grizzco shifts

-Partially bc of little buddy but after they realize he's evil they feel even weirder abt doing them

♧Eventually got Little Buddy recognized as a service animal

-He does DPT, and a few other tasks for their anxiety, also helps monitor their glucose levels

♧Type 1 diabetic

♧Misses their family but has no clue where to start to find them bc they haven't seen them in 4 years

♧Makes Little Buddy's treats themself

Everything and Nothing

A short MirSan drabble by me, written a long time ago. I wrote it in 2004, and I just felt like sharing it here. The non-existent lag time after the battle with the village of the oni-women leaves Miroku time to think on his true feelings towards Sango. What will he choose?

All I could remember was the rain pattering on the roof on that one night after we had come across the village of Oni women just after we had defeated the youkai within the scroll, saving Wakana's life and giving Shinosuke-dono his bride back. After Sango had been controlled and nearly killed me. Kagome-sama had done up my wounds as carefully as she could, though all the while eyeing me.

I knew why.

When she was finished I had thanked her and excused myself to go to the temple to find something to calm myself, let myself think and figure some things out in peace. Sango being controlled and learning of why she'd let herself be controlled was very distressing to me. It made me feel something rather awkward, and I needed to get away.

The rain would help.

Not too surprisingly I found shelves of old books and scrolls in the temple, and with my mind in such a riot-I was eager for distraction so I pilfered through them. In my searching through the stacks of old reading material I came across a scroll entitled: "Ai." With a small frown I took that scroll down from the pile of others and sat myself upon the floor to read it. Maybe with this I could figure out what I was feeling. Quietly I skimmed the material until I came across this oddly worded passage. I read it silently to myself.

"Love is the power that will bind us and break us. It is everything and yet it is nothing at the same time. It rules and enslaves but it lets go and sets one free. It is something one must feel to know true happiness, and at the same time know ultimate sadness."

I sat back and reflected on all those words as I looked at the scroll in my hand. I pondered the meaning of love to me. Sighing and shook my head sadly. Unfortunately, in my predicament I had to constantly act with promiscuity…I never really knew when it might be over for me; so I was terrified of falling in love.

The problem with that was, I thought I already had anyway.

The one lady in my life that I had not asked to "bear my child," the moment I met her was the one woman I could never see as truly-a woman. She was a comrade at arms, a travel companion, and a firm feminine backside for when those urges arose. She was the tajiya who had had her family and friends destroyed by the same person who had cursed my family, a strong soul who kept fighting no matter what the cost. Someone who loved her friends and would do anything for them.

I smiled ruefully, lifting a hand and placing it upon my cheek where Kagome-sama's band-aid was red with seeping blood left by her concealed wrist blade from the battle with her earlier. She was resting with Kagome-sama and Inuyasha now, having not awakened just yet.

My Sango.

Did I love her? I wasn't sure. If I did I couldn't do anything about it till I was sure that the void in my hand was gone. I didn't want to say that I did, then leave her alone to fend in the world without me by her side…That was if she felt the same in return. I felt broken and torn when I was alone and thought about it, but, then, when we are together and I'm not thinking about it-it feels-right somehow. We're almost always attached at the hip-during every escapade our group has. We were inseparable, and I felt as if I could overcome mountains with her by my side.

So, did I love her?…I sighed again, and placed the scroll on my lap. I had to admit it to myself. Yes I loved her.

She was everything but it would be nothing if I died upon telling her.

But then, this was exactly as the text had said wasn't it? "Love is the power that will bind us and break us. It is everything and yet nothing at the same time."

But as I thought about it more, gazing at the scroll in front of me, Kagome-sama's words came flooding back to my memory. "Because you were so obviously unfaithful Miroku-sama, she got angry and went off by herself." My promiscuity had nearly gotten Sango killed, all because I wasn't sure how he felt towards her. But-if I didn't tell her, and didn't survive this, she'd be safer in the long run. Someone had to take over the battle of Naraku for me-and I would rather it be born of a woman I didn't love so I wouldn't have to worry about leaving her behind when the kazaana finally sucked me up.

I frowned deeply and picked the scroll up crushing it in my hand. I did love her, I knew that now. But I had tell her how it really was, there was no escaping it. I didn't want her hurt in any possible way ever again by me.

It was now that I noticed the rain had stopped outside and that the morning light was spilling through the cracks in the old walls. My face softened a bit and I stood up, walking to the shoji and pushing it aside with a clack. I gazed out into the morning and watched everything all around glisten with the sparkle of light bouncing off the dew-drops. My face fell a little bit and I lifted the crushed scroll into my view, a weary and sad smile crossing over my lips.

"It is something one must feel to know true happiness, and at the same time know ultimate sadness."

The passage was all too right. With a resolute look on my face I stepped out into the dripping morning, finding Kagome-sama and Inuyasha waiting for me, with an awake Sango on his arm. I smiled and sauntered up to them. "Sango, I'd like to speak with you before we head off." I said, and offered my arm.

She blinked at me and seemed to have a look of-regret-? Was that it? in her eyes. She nodded and Inuyasha loosed her and I took her on my arm, moving off to sit by the river as Shinosuke-dono and Wakana came up to thank us for our help. Sango and I bowed briefly and left Inuyasha and Kagome-sama to properly accept their thanks.

We sat side by side in silence for a time, just staring at nothing, wondering where to begin, and if it would end. Surprisingly she broke the silence first. "I'm sorry Houshi-sama. If it weren't for me-"

Already I could tell this wasn't going in the right direction, so I interrupted her. "Don't worry about that Sango. Besides, this time it was my fault. If it weren't for my bad habit with women, this wouldn't have happened. I should be saying I'm sorry."

"You-you, there's no need for you to apologize…" she countered, turning her face and blushing. "I was the one who was being careless…It had nothing to do with you and your-"

I shook my head and cut her off again. "Sango, I've been thinking about this, and I've decided that this is how I truly feel. I want you to listen to it all…" She turned her face to me attentively then, and so I told her it all. Every detail about how I felt towards her…And she seemed happy about it, but, as things go with me and her…it eventually ended up in a glare and a near slap.

Ahh, the pains of love…

[Helllllooooo I wanted to do this cute lil fic] [for InuKag week!! Hope you guys like it!! Just a little warning this does contain pre mature birth and small lime activity!]

When Kagome told Inuyasha that she was pregnant with their first child, was he nervous? Oh yes, but he was also very excited to be a father, he may not have known his own father, but he knew he would do his best to be the best father to his future child. Few months later, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl that they named Moroha. and boy, she was a handful! Moroha would crawl all over the apartment to where sometimes she'd hide under their bed. By the time she was 1 she started walking and the one thing she loved was going into her mother's closet.

"Nonononono!!!!! Moroha!!!! Not you're" mother's favorite yukata!!!"

Moroha's little hands were covered in pink paint from finger painting and her hand prints were all over her mother's white and green yukata. Inuyasha cringed at the yukata as he looked upon the stained yukata. " Oh God.... Kagome is going to kill me...." Inuyasha softly sighed at a messy giggling Moroha covered in pink paint, and picked her up in his arms. " What am I going to do with you Moro?" Moroha clapped her hands and put her tiny hands on her daddy's cheeks. "Moorerowwhaaa...."

"Ahehahehehehe" Moroha giggling as she kept squishing Inu's cheeks.

Inuyasha knew he couldn't stay mad at his little baby everytime he'd look into her eyes he would give in and turn into mush.

" Sighhh.."

" you're such a little troublemaker little girl."

"C'mon, let's get ya cleaned up, then I gotta clean your Mama's yukata."

After, cleaning Moroha up, and taking the yukata to the cleaners, Inu decided to take Moroha to the park.

Inuyasha took Moroha to the little sand box and sat her down with the other toddlers and sat down six feet away at a bench.

Inuyasha watched as his daughter would play and share her toys with the other children, and all he could do was smile.

" She's gets bigger every time I see her."   Said a mysterious male voice.

Inuyasha turned around to realize that the man talking was his best friend Miroku.

" Huhh?, Oh! Hey Miroku."

" It's been awhile!" Miroku said as he put down 3 year old Hisui.

" Alright, Kin'u, Gyokuto, be sure you girls play nice with Moroha, and keep an eye on Hisui."

"Okay Daddy!!" Said the twins.

As the twins ran toward the sand box with Hisui in tow, both of the young Fathers relaxed for a nice peaceful day at the park with their children.

"So? How's Parenthood treating you and Kagome?"

Inuyasha stopped from drinking his water bottle to awnser Miroku's question.

" Well, not gonna lie saying it's easy, that little girl is such a handful that at times she drives me and Kagome crazy."

" Just today while she was finger painting, I literally left her alone for only a few minutes because I had to use the bathroom and by the time I got back, I saw that she went into our closet and took down Kagome's favorite yukata from the hanger."

Miroku's eyes went wide.

" Oh no don't tell me it was-"

Inuyasha heavy sighed.

" Yes.. the white and green one.. the one she wore for her college graduation.."

"Oh man... What did Kagome say?" Miroku cringed.

" Well I didn't tell her I took it to the cleaners, that poor yukata was covered in Moroha's handprint covers with hot pink paint."

" My friend I can only hope those stains come out."

"Keh, you and me both. "

" But you know what Inuyasha?"

"Hm?"

" That's parenting, the kids drive me crazy everyday, the twins fight over dolls, sometimes Hisui pulls Kirara's tails, and I've found a lot of Sango's $100 make up destroyed in the twins room"

Inuyasha gulped at thinking of Sango's reaction of losing all those cosmetics.

" But all that can be replaced, accidents happen, those little Rugrats may drive me up the wall and may kill my wallet especially with the cosmetics, but I love them all so much."

Inuyasha nodded thinking of on the day of Moroha's birth, of how scared he and Kagome we're, due to Moroha coming early at only 7 months. Inuyasha prayed that Moroha would be okay and would eventually grow despite how small she was. Soon after his prayers were answered, eventually he and Kagome brought Moroha home.

Inuyasha smiled at Miroku, then turned to Moroha.

" Yeah, that little baby does drive me & Kags crazy, but I wouldn't have it in any other way."

Miroku handed Inuyasha a strawberry Hi-C juice box for a toast.

Miroku raised his juice box, "To Parenthood."

Inu also raised his juice box

" Keh! To Parenthood." --------------------------------------------------------------------

Epilogue

Moroha was sound asleep in his arms, and he placed her inside her crib and he placed her favorite dog plushie next to her and she took a hold of it and snuggled with it.

Inu smiled at his sleeping baby girl, and brushed away her bangs. "You're just like your mother when she sleeps."

Inuyasha then turned off her little light and left her nursery, " Goodnight Moro." Inu then shut the door. Then when he turned around he didn't notice that his wife had come home from her business trip for the Higurashi Shrine.

"Hey there, Handsome~"

" Babe!" Inuyasha exclaimed

But Kagome sushed him

"Sorry, got a little excited."

" It's okay, Inu I missed you too."

Inuyasha then swept Kagome off her feet and took her to their bedroom.

" Hahaha, Inu you might wake Moroha!" Kagome whispered.

" Nah, she'll be fine, with the day she's had she's out like a house."

Kagome's eyebrow went up

"What do you mean by "With the day she's had?"

" Uhhhhhhh, I'll tell ya later babe," " let's make this night about you and how I'm going to treat my very own Princess"

Inuyasha said in a sensual husky voice.

Kagome then rolled her eyes, and smirked and pulled Inuyasha into a passionate lustful kiss.

" You have no idea how long I waited for this."

Inuyasha then laid them both on top of their bed as he slowing stroked up her thigh, made his way up her skirt, and started rubbing his index finger along her pink panties.

"Kagome...., you have no idea."

The night went as it went, that bedroom was very loud that night, and Moroha didn't hear a thing. As for the Yukata, well let's just say the little pink hand prints will never come out, but it did make it look unique in its own way.

The demon instinct that wants to get power

Naraku is a hanyou composed of countless demons that originally aren’t very powerful and use humans as their vessels. However, he possesses an ability that’s common to all the demons he’s made of: the ability to absorb other demon’s abilities and take over them. He takes advantage of this ability and sometimes creates a powerful body thanks to the Kodoku skill, while other times he goes beyond himself by remaking his body. Furthermore, he seeks/aims to increase his power by gathering the fragments of the Shikon jewel. Gaining power is part of the demon instinct, as their Aramitama stands out.

The human weakness he knows as a hanyou

Naraku attacks Inuyasha and his group by taking advantage of the most fragile parts of their minds. He made Sango steal Tessaiga by blackmailing her with Kohaku’s life, and sometimes he uses illusions to destroy psyches. In the end, these are very cunning plans he manages to elaborate given that he understands the human heart.

His astuteness to use several resources

Many times, when Naraku makes some attack or is searching for some object, he uses someone else. In order to stay in a safe place during a possibly dangerous situation, he uses puppets, his incarnations or a third party. His methods range from making a puppet by attaching one of his hairs to a doll to creating an extension letting a part of his body grow. The method where his evilness is more prominent is using other people. His recurrent modus operandi is getting inside the human and demon mind skillfully to use their thoughts as blackmailing material so that he can get what they consider to be the greatest treasure of all: the Shikon jewel. If that’s used, almost every wish can be granted, no matter if the one wishing is a demon or a human. Naraku toys with the wishes of others while considering this. With this technique, black miko Tsubaki, who used to be human, was easily deceived and there was even one time when the great Sesshomaru also fell into temptation.

Furthermore, he’s so evil that he can get some personal gain while pretending to save other people.

The feelings towards Kikyo he couldn’t get rid of

The bandit Onigumo is the one who serves as a connector for numerous demons, serving as the core and definition of what Naraku is. Naraku bragged about having devoured him without even leaving his bones. However, Onigumo’s heart remained inside him and had some influence on him. In the past, Naraku set a trap for Kikyo and Inuyasha to pollute the Shikon jewel when they killed each other. However, if it was all about polluting it, there was no need for such an elaborate plan: Naraku just had to take it. His evil soul would surely make it turn black.

The reason why Naraku made Kikyo and Inuyasha to hate each other was his obsession towards Kikyo, which resided in a deep place within his soul. He didn’t want to accept that reality, even so, he was unable to get rid of his human heart, which represented the feelings towards the miko, so he remained a hanyou. Given the fact that he conserved Onigumo’s feelings towards Kikyo, he was helpless against her. As he couldn’t admit it, he tried to get rid of his “human heart” several times. In fact, in Mount Hakurei, Naraku, who had gotten rid of his feelings, managed to severely injure Kikyo. However, to get his hands on the negative energy that dwells within the human heart, he finally took it back along with the feelings he had towards her. Evil thoughts, negative feelings and perverse desires strengthen the dark side of the Shikon jewel while Naraku has it. At the end, he used his passion towards Kikyo to kill her.

His real desire that wasn’t fulfilled

Naraku went after the Shikon jewel for years. He tried to pollute it to make it turn black and take ownership of it. However, what did he want to get with it? The truth is he had no plan. He didn’t aspire to “conquer Japan”, for example. All he had was, at the end, defined by his core: his human feelings… to take over Kikyo, a desire that was never fulfilled…

“Inuyasha” is the “shounen manga” that I always wanted to create

I wanted “Inuyasha” to be the “shounen manga” kind of story that I always wanted to create since I was a child. I started this project because I wanted to invent a story aimed at teenagers without many comedic elements. That was one of my dreams. As I had the chance to draw for a magazine aimed at teens, I experienced a desire to work on a different kind of narrative, even when I like comedy a lot.

I chose the Sengoku era as the setting because it’s a world where many things can happen. I think that, anyway, bringing a demon to the modern era would have worked and I could have developed battles with swords too, but I think that using the Sengoku era as the setting softened the impression of the readers. It’s difficult for me to draw many people dying in the modern era. If a demon were to appear nowadays and it got violent, the damages would be huge, right? For these reasons I decided to use an era that would work as a fantasy world. I think I made it easier to read this way. Furthermore, I drew armors and that kind of things, which, visually speaking, I think it’s interesting. I’ve hardly ever drawn period stories, with the exception of “Fire Tripper” and “Mermaid Saga”, but I like this kind of stories a lot. Additionally, I like kimonos over Western clothing.

The story of “Inuyasha” where I could depict everything

Ultimately, I was able to finish the story of “Inuyasha” properly. Moreover, I managed to get Kagome to go to high school. I wanted to fulfill that wish of her by all means as along the story there were scenes about the tests and admission exams; it would be strange if she didn’t start high school after everything she went through. In the end, Kagome constantly traveling through eras wasn’t an option for me, that’s why I thought it’d be ok if she went to high school. Her life there, as a student, was normal. What’s important is that she experienced that life, and after three years, when she returned to the Sengoku era, Inuyasha was waiting for her and was reunited with Miroku and the others…

“Inuyasha” turned into a manga with a story where I could portray everything and it didn’t lack anything. It was very entertaining to draw it. I’m glad that I could conclude it properly and that it didn’t end in a forced way. I think I could depict everything in this narration.

1. A character I used to hate but have since warmed up to: idk if i ever like hated anyone (outside of like, of course, Mukotsu. duh). but the first time I watched IY I had such a hard time getting excited/interested in Kohaku. He felt bland and wet blanket sad to bby me (fr i was in middle school. I wanted to watch the hot angsty teen dog boys, not the pasty middle school kid who alternates between looking like someone is about to steal his lunch money and just like. total dissociation, lol). BUT BOY OH BOY. Upon more recent rewatches as an adult I'm just like BREAKING MY HEART over this sweet scared child who becomes a competent killing machine and his royally fucked up storyline. truly, whump. He's much more complex than I initially gave him credit for.

5. A character I love but everyone else hates: okay yes, people don't like actually hate him, really, he's literally in of one of the MOST popular fandom ships. But imo people tend to judge Miroku p hard. Like the pervert stuff, i get it, i know. I get that those aspects of him are flaws that turn people off. that's valid. Perhaps bc he's a pretty main character and he's fun to ship with Sango, people like him despite that, and so I see a lot of correcting/changing his behavior in fic to make him moral/good and less slimy. I do like those fics too, and i do some of this tweaking in my own writing too, ofc. but i think instead of liking Miroku in spite of his flaws, i love him because of them, which is sentiment i don't see as often? I LOVE that he's immoral, that he's a little trash slut (affectionate), that he's sneaky and vain, a conman running for his life and taking what he can get. Give me a Miroku who's in over his head and still asks for more. Give me a Miroku who's shallow and desperate, who knows but doesn't tell. Give me a Miroku who's fucked up.

To be more literal in terms of a character everyone hates, i also really love Naraku. I think most people hate him indiscriminately bc he so quickly goes from "intriguing villain with unique backstory" to "oh god no not the BeEs AgAiN" (bee's here being a equivalent to an overused plot mechanic and unnecessarily complicated objectives), but hey, the bees worked, right!! We all kept watching anyway!! Now there's a trash slut. Main character energy baby, always. Naraku's nastiness is selfish and overwrought in the anime, but also weirdly fascinating to me.

7. An unpopular ship I’ll nevertheless go down with I am a multishipper tried and true, I love to put everyone with anyone. Did two characters I like maybe interact once in a single episode of canon?? Did they appear next to each other for 3 seconds in one anime opening song?? if so, then there's a 95% chance I've thought about what it could be like if they fucked. It is what it is; I'm like this for literally every fandom i dabble in. The point of this is to say most of the ships i like to write are "unpopular" bc rare pair hell is a real place. We don't have cookies but we do have fluffy cheerleader pom poms for cheering on unusual content. In a fandom like Inuyasha, where nearly ALL fics fall within 2-4 main pairings, it's fun to flex those rare pair muscles more often for all the juicy possibilities of this wonderful world and it's wonderful characters. IY rare pairs ALWAYS need more love. I contain multitudes, okay? On that note, a list of unpopular/rare ships that currently have me in a chokehold, in no particular order: Kagura/Kikyou Inuyasha/Miroku Sesshomaru/Miroku Inuyasha/Miroku/Sango poly!

8. A fan favorite ship I just don’t get Okay i just ranted about being a multi-shipper, so this is actually sort of tough. Even if there are pairings i don't find particularly interesting/stimulating, i've probably read fic and enjoyed fic featuring it. If pushed, Koga/Kagome is a pretty popular ship I have to be in a very specific mood to enjoy. Not to say i wouldn't ever read it, but it's are a toughie.

Of course, now I'm challenging myself to think about it and i mean... well... it's not like his whole vibe isn't hot af....i COULD see it if....

Top 5 Anime Deaths

Contrary to what I tell you on discord about my love of animation and how phenomenal I think the fights in anime are... I don't actually watch a lot of it. I've watched Inuyasha and a few classics, watched My Hero for like... a small portion of time before I got immensely bored of the writing. I'm not a big fan of it but I will t r y!

5. Future Lucy from Fairy Tail. Okay so, I'm not the biggest fan of Lucy. She's an okay character, well-rounded in terms of character development but seeing how gutted everyone was when she died was like... a kicker.

4. This happened in the manga. Not the anime. Yet. So, I'm not a huge fan of MHA, not for lack of trying. I genuinely did try to get into it but the writing sucks, the characters are all subpar except for the villains, Eraserhead, and Bakugo. You can fight me on that. The main protagonist makes me want to pull my hair out over how annoyingly generic he is. I've had this problem with lots of shounen protagonists and he was in no way a refresher. Fuck Deku 2022. Anywho, I won't say the name of the character for the sake of spoilers but I actually really fucking hated the death. It's up here because I like the character, that's it. The death sucked in terms of timing, writing, and emotion. It literally only happened to further the protagonist's power level. The character died for plot armor reassurance. Fuck MHA.

3. Kohaku from Inuyasha Final Act. A huge part of Inuyasha's storytelling for Sango was how much she wanted to reunite with her younger brother again. In every episode in any new arc, there's a moment that she'll get introspective about her younger brother and the night Naraku took their family away. In Final Act, she actually manages to reunite with him only for a stray demon particle from Naraku's latest plot to pierce him through the neck and take the piece of the Shikon Jewel shard keeping him alive. Seeing her lose him after spending over like... 100 episodes trying to get him back crushed me. (I know this shouldn't count as a death because Kikyo actually revives him but yknow..).

2. Koro-Sensei. I'm pretty sure any die hard fan of Assassination Classroom can tell you that the finale ending fucking hurt. Bro, this monstrosity teacher that became a found family to these kids gives his life to protect them and with the last vestiges of said life he allows them to kill him and graduate. Bruhhh

1. Kurama. Bro, fuck Boruto. All my homies hate Boruto. The show fucking sucks compared to the original Shippuden in my eyes. You can have whatever opinion you want but this is mine. I hate it. Naruto and Kurama's relationship in it is still something to laugh with. They're family at this point in Naruto's life. They're so close emotionally that when Kurama uses up the last of his energy and fades away, it guts you. He gives his friend one last fist bump and tells him to "be well." I fucking hated watching that, dude...

Character Development: Hard Mode!

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

It's more her nightmares, but capture and imprisonment is the biggest recurring theme of them all. Cettra is, by every law of her birthplace and clan, a fugitive; she's quite possibly killed several others, has knowledge about the previous elder of the clan's passing that truly isn't that hard to figure out if one stops and thinks about it without the new 'elder' to sway them, escaped custody and punishment, has been avoiding capture for years since... She knows that it's just a matter of time before they find her, and when they do, she'll be facing the end of her life at best.

Living through that kind of nightmare's ensured her actual nightmares are much the same, always boiling down to some kind of chase, the harm of her friends and Heizou, having them ripped away from her or used to catch her, being locked away and hurt herself... What happens if she's found and caught is often in her dreams in some form, and even her good dreams regularly have some kind of nod to it, be it escaping or being protected, or just memories of better, happier times when she was a child. There's no escaping it, though at the very least, the longer she's with Heizou, the less often they seem to plague her...

10. Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?

This probably isn't a surprise by now, but less clothing! It's never been an issue for her - She's a wolf youkai and shifts between human and wolf forms pretty much at will, and the later form has no need for clothes when it's covered in fur. As a result, Cettra's grown far too used to going without, finding it far more comfortable than restrictive, tight, large amounts of fabric wrapped around her body that'll just end up ripped apart, left behind, or causing some kind of pain when she changes forms.

However, she's been around humans long enough to know modesty is a thing valued and preferred by them, and she's found a sort of middle ground: She'll wear clothes when out and about as a human, but at home? Completely hit or miss! Both are a frustrating thing for Heizou, her boyfriend and closest friend, to deal with though and she regrets nothing every time he groans about having forgotten his 'wolf emergency kit' of some spare, loose clothing to get her back home with him from their trips out into town-

14. Does your character remember names or faces easier?

Definitely faces! With how much traveling she does, Cettra doesn't always catch names, and if she does, she's not usually around long enough to remember which face goes to which name, making remembering the face far easier for people she usually won't end up seeing again. Of course, that doesn't mean she's purposely ignoring names - It just takes her a bit to remember which name and face match, and once she has that registered in her mind, she's all goo to go!

Ultimately, it's just easier and more of a kick in the pants for her to see faces when she's traveling. If she's in town for a week, she's not going to know which Sango you're talking about a month and half later unless they made a major impression on her - And with how little time she has, 'major impressions' are few between, even if she wishes they weren't. Just give her a little time, and she'll get both. <3

20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

Cettra has a bad habit of falling into lulls where she compares herself to others in regards to being a human vs being a youkai; when in a poor place, she'll sit and watch people go by, wondering if being a human makes things... Different. If she were human, would she be more accepted? If she didn't have to run or change forms, would people like her more? Would they accept her if she didn't have to run off as often as she did before meeting Heizou? Would... Heizou prefer a human beside him, rather than her?

It could be said this is done out of self-criticism, but honestly, the life she's led has left so on edge that once she has a place to settle down and people to stand beside and who welcome her with open arms regardless of her past, she doesn't know how to handle peace. She has no idea how to fit in without being playful and covering for insecurities and concerns and fears, and that leads to lulls - usually in moments where she's left on her own with nothing to occupy her mind, no one to stop her from letting her thoughts stray, and nothing to do, even a prank of raising chaos in any capacity - where she can't help but to sit back and wonder.

None of it makes her feel good about herself, and she'll leave these lulls in a slump to faceplant into a pillow, bed, or wherever she feels safe enough to drop into something soft. These are moods she usually needs the company of others to break away from as well, but she can and does break out of them - They just come back later, especially when she remembers that she's a non-human trying to find a place in a (nearly) fully human society, and it's far more difficult than it seems when you're a youkai with secrets as heavy as hers.

27. How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

Cettra really doesn't. She'll dodge it, laugh it off, make a joke, distract... It's only when it's really forced on her that she starts to take it seriously and realizes she can't really avoid it. At this point, she starts trying to work it out and break away from it before it becomes something worse or something neither side can diffuse - An end she's determined to avoid, if at all possible.

That's not to say she isn't quick to take part in it and stir the pot, either. There's been a fair few times she's jumped right into a confrontation and even made things worse, and when it comes to anything regarding her past, she's incredibly blunt and bold and will take confrontation like a fish to water. A lot of her reaction depends on the kind of confrontation and what's behind it, but for the most part? She's gonna diffuse and walk away with a smile. ...Hopefully.

Custom Toonami Block Week 137 Rundown

Spy X Family: We finally get the briefing on Anya’s school and the short version is if she gets eight gym badges she gets to meet the guy Loid has to kill but if she gets eight anti-gym badges they fucking kick her out so we’re basically dealing with the Good Noodle Star system from Spongebob, idk if the gym badges and anti-badges are permanent or if you get a star and a bolt gets removed or if you can just rock up with seven bolts and eight stars like ‘yeah I was almost expelled but I’m also really fucking good at math’ but that’s the plan, get Anya to win all eight gym badges and be the best at school which is normal to want and possible to achieve. Anya’s tailor freaks her out about how people from her school get kidnapped because they have rich parents and of course while out doing shopping with Yor Anya gets fucking kidnapped because apparently her psychic powers can hear Loid from across a crowded gym but can’t hear someone thinking ‘I’mma kidnap this pink-haired kid’ from five feet away. Either way Yor fucks them up so we don’t have to watch her Press Y to Anya while looking for her and Anya decides she wants to learn to kill a man with her pinky too and decides to start training with Yor. Meanwhile orientation day is here and Loid goes over the plan again, adding the stipulation that Anya can also get in good with this guy’s bratty kid and take a shortcut past the gym badges like that one Pokemon anime episode where you can take a test to go straight to the pokemon league if you can identify a Jigglypuff seen from above. But yeah Anya basically takes every wrong social cue based on reading her classmates’ thoughts and being a bit of a brat herself but does kind of end up winning over one of the girls in her class while accidentally egging on the bratty kid she’s supposed to be friends with with her meme face and fucking socks him one which thanks to her new training is probably a lot stronger than it should be and now we’re starting the books with one anti-badge.

Inuyasha: The Naginata of Kenkon arc continues and Hojo and Kagome dick around in the forest for a while so Kagome can flirt with the possibility of being Hojo’s feudal waifu. Inuyasha fights Hoshiyomi who as far as filler villains go is pretty cool like he’s the only person who just fires fuck off huge sword lasers better than Inuyasha at this point in the series and they have a cool minimalist black and white color scheme. Meanwhile Miroku and Sango completely fail to try and take down the ninja subordinates because they’re ninjas and the flunkies find a picture of Kagome’s friends that one of them uses to turn into demon puppets which means absolutely nothing except it’s cool to see Kagome’s friends’ feudal versions like there’s absolutely no reason the ninja demon couldn’t make random puppets since he plays them off as feudal strangers anyway which makes no sense from his perspective since he doesn’t know they’re future people so if he saw the pic of Kagome with them why did he know not to have them talk to her like they knew her? Like that just makes the whole situation more complicated than just whipping up a random village girl to lead them into a trap. Kagome sees through a completely unrelated foible and takes out the demons which puppets or not sounds kinda traumatic given they look just like her friends but she doesn’t hesitate for a millisecond. Once the puppets are done though the demon ninjas just swoop in and abduct Kagome which they… could’ve just done anyway, in fact why not take Hojo too? He’s got the sword you want and he’s by all accounts weaker than Kagome like why did we abduct her at all and not take the one thing you guys want? Idfk man, it’s in Kagome’s contract that she has to get kidnapped every so often.

Yu Yu Hakusho: There’s a running gag I forgot to mention last time about Koenma ominously saying he can take out his pacifier as a last resort and everyone gasping before admitting they have no idea what the fuck he’s talking about and it gets repeated with Genkai this episode and it’s pretty funny. Yusuke’s group reaches Sensui’s lair where he has a VCR hooked up to a car battery so he can sync up his favorite movie to the end of the world like it’s Pink Floyd and the Wizard of Oz or some shit, long story short the gang’s got 30 minutes. Sensui wants Yusuke to be the arbiter of humanity’s defense so he offers to give Kuwabara back if they can kill Gourmet but his allies note this is less an act of generosity and more an enforcement of control by seeking to limit the possibilities in a framework instead of risking the ugly situation that could occur if everyone just bum rushes Kuwabara and the demon tunnel from five different angles. Kurama agrees they aren’t going to color in the lines on this one but they’ll play along for a bit and offers to fight Gourmet who now has the ability to read minds since he off-screen ate that one guy that could read minds from earlier in the arc which kinda sucks like YYH is kinda weird in that it’ll build up a death forever and not do it and then off-screen a dude with no fanfare. Anyway Kurama beheads Gourmet and reveals he knew Elder Toguro was pulling the strings in there all along and basically reverse-digested Gourmet from the inside and absorbed the ability to eat things to get stronger, read minds AND ramped up his immortality to the point that you could detonate a nuke on his forehead and he’d probably still come back. Of course what follows is one of the most epic overkill scenes in all of anime and even people that haven’t seen this series know this one. Kurama traps him in a purgatory tree where he’s eternally hallucinating not being able to kill Kurama while getting drained of his life force and healing just enough to forever be under its spell, basically what Itachi ripped the Izanami off of except this one doesn’t get a happy ending where Elder Toguro sees the error of his ways and leads an orphanage of sharingan children. So yeah, two down, two to go.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Sukuna and Yuji meet in Yuji’s inner world and Sukuna makes the deal that he’ll revive Yuji if he can basically install a switch switch to use whenever he wants on the condition he can’t kill or hurt anyone when he comes out with this method and Yuji can’t remember that he made the deal in the first place. Yuji immediately smells the sus and disagrees but still wants to come back to life so they agree to fight on it and Sukuna immediately kicks his ass and just like that Yuji’s back to life and his evil side has a foothold in his mind. This raises a couple questions of what the fuck it would take to actually kill Yuji short of like complete incineration and if Sukuna can’t kill or injure anyone when he comes out what’s the fucking point unless cursed spirits don’t count, though that’ll be a problem when they inevitably meet human enemies anyway. Megumi delivers the juvie kid’s name patch to his mom and starts actively thinking about fucking helping people while training the second years which is apparently a foreign concept in this school. I gotta say I kinda like Gojo’s ultimate goal like he knows if he just kills all the assholes running things then they’ll just get replaced by new assholes so he decides that he’s gonna make the assholes that replace those assholes instead to the future will have Gojo-brand assholes running it, pretty solid/petty reason for getting into teaching. I also like the stupid mundane way they’re gonna teach Yuji how to use Cursed Chakra because it’s just something you can do at home, like I always like training montages that are just shit an edgy teen can pretend to do. But yeah the basic idea is to watch movies to fuel a gambit of emotions while still thinking enough pissy thoughts to keep the stuffed boxing bear that feeds on youtube comments to stay asleep so there’s enough undercurrent of cursed shit in his personality that even if he’s feeling great and about to win he can still dig into a reservoir of feeling like crap and hating the world and regretting shit. That’s pretty neat since a lot of superpowers say they’re based on emotions but they don’t really go into what it takes to be able to flip those emotions on and off like a lightswitch and how you basically have to be a psychopath to punch out a specific power’s emotion in a situation that may not warrant it. Also Captain Magma wants to seal Gojo into Jimmy Neutron’s hypercube or something.

Chainsaw Man: Team Akimeno pick up right where they left off, trapped in the endless PT style loop of a a motel hallway where any seam becomes a loop, stuck in the grasp of the Eternity Devil. Kobeni and other guy have hair trigger sanity so they’re freaking out meanwhile Denji and Power are too crazy to care and Aki and Himeno are too stoic to get freaked out so we have three nice groups of two for the sliding scale of sanity under pressure. Unfortunately this isn’t the kind of hotel to have a fully stocked overpriced minibar so starvation is a concern even though everyone’s only been there like a couple hours max and they’re already putting cannibalism on the table so we’re not exactly dealing with the most stable bunch. We get some cute insight on Himeno’s backstory and ironically it fleshes Aki out more than her which is an interesting way to shine insight on her feelings for him and their dynamic has this weird kind of casual intimacy like I’d buy they canonically fucked and just didn’t make a big deal about it, also like the idea of Aki’s idea of revenge is causing people mild inconveniences like he’s someone who’d prank someone by slightly messing up their paperwork and feel really bad about it all day when they didn’t even notice. But yeah the Infinity Train Devil wants Denji dead for some reason and being the Sasuke of the group Aki has a super secret technique that can kill it but it eats his lifespan and everyone’s like ‘that’s dumb a fraction of Aki’s life is worth way more than Denji’s whole life’ and Denji’s just kinda out here feeling the love when Kobeni tries to stab him and Aki jumps in the way to take one for the team because he has a tragic backstory to uphold and also killing people to satisfy a devil doesn’t sit well with him. Denji’s not quite sure how to process gratitude towards someone he doesn’t also want to bone so he just says fuck it and jumps into the Eternity Devil’s mouth with Chainsaws active which I imagine he would’ve done anyway even if they tried to kill him with it. But yeah that was pretty cool, like for a group of people that barely tolerate each other seeing Aki stand up for the guy that repeatedly kicked him in the nuts over literal nothing and assign his life intrinsic value as well as consider him an asset to his cause is pretty neat, Denji out here getting some affirmation that doesn’t give him a boner.

Ranking of Kings: Bojji and Kage reach the Underworld King and they show off Bojji’s skills and the king’s like ‘bro your dodging’s cool and all but I can’t do shit to make you stronger’ and Bojji has a minor existential crisis before they find out from the guard captain Bojji fought that it’s actually the king’s brother who can make Bojji stronger and the king was just being a petty dork. Meanwhile Daida’s also having an existential crisis when Spear Dude comes to kill him and is stopped by the mirror who is apparently possessed by the resident Morgan Le Fae insert and has a much more sinister plan for Daida and recruits Spear dude to knock him the fuck out and make him drink the spilled Father Slushee from last episode, now with extra floor dirt to make it 10% more gross. Meanwhile Kage and Bojji reach the king’s brother and while the king’s like a demon guy the brother is just like… some dude and it’s pretty funny.

Vinland Saga: Now that Thorfinn has his goal of becoming a great warrior and enough of an asset to Askeladd to fucking murder him, we jump straight into a new fight. The English and Danish have beef because of lines on the ground because war is fucking stupid and the Viking pirates are basically mercenaries that the Danish army can use as shock troops to weaken England before it comes time to invade. While negotiating one of these missions Askeladd’s crew gets jumped by the English and Askeladd saves Thorfinn’s life and Thorfinn gets his first kill and we get a quick montage of him getting very very good at killing people over the next few years and picking up another knife along the way. While he’s out scouting he gets knocked into a river is saved by a nice old English lady who saves him because she’s a good Christian and also she just so happens to have a recently opened son-shaped hole in her heart that he’s the perfect size to fill. He actually gets to relax and get cleaned up for a bit and almost feel like part of a family again for a moment but of course because fate is cruel he still has to go give the signal to Askeladd’s crew to come fuck the whole town up and presumably kill the old lady and her granddaughter despite him trying to save them. I mean he might’ve been able to walk away from the pirate life right there but Askeladd probably would’ve still come after the village eventually and he still has a murderboner so trying to get them out of there was probably the best he could do but he probably could’ve been more direct about it.

Custom Toonami Block Week 104 Rundown

Inuyasha: So right off the back of last episode Kagome, Sango and Miroku are still poisoned and it doesn’t seem to be something they can just sleep off, leaving Inuyasha, Shippo and Kirara to do the bulk of the work. It’s kind of a neat dynamic, like yeah Inuyasha is 99% of the group’s fighting power anyway but Shippo has to pick up the slack with utility and dialogue and stuff and it’s nice to see him do stuff every once in a while. Ginkotsu attacks and he’s some kind of Feudal Cyborg which I have no idea how the fuck that works given they only just discovered gunpowder exists but he has cannons and mechanical limbs and fucking magnetic buzzsaws strapped to him, it does make for a fun fight though and he’s able to actually stop Inuyasha from using the Wind Scar by tying him up and not giving him enough room to swing (see like I said last time if Inuyasha just fucking opened every fight with a Wind Scar this series would be a lot shoter) he manages to get around it though by sheathing the Tessaiga and dodging the strings manually before getting enough clearance to jump into the air where there are no strings and use the Wind Scar. Guess it fucking misses though because Ginkotsu just gets buried in a big hole instead of getting disinitegrated so guess all those aerial acrobatics fucked up Inuyasha’s aim a bit. Meanwhile Shippo gets everyone to a temple and it’s the temple where Renkotsu is disguised as a monk and puts everyone to sleep to hold them hostage. It’s actually pretty tense because Kagome can see Renkotsu’s jewel shard and instantly knows he’s a Band of Seven member (which I don’t think he knows she can see it) but doesn’t have the strength to say it so it’s kind of a Misery situation where she’s bedridden at the mercy of a madman. He says he won’t kill them because he has a deal for Inuyasha and if he comes by and all his friends are dead he won’t be in a deal-making mood which is fine I guess but honestly just take the chance bro, like not only would you massively cut down on potential problems but Ginkotsu’s fighting Inuyasha to the death right now and made it very clear he wants to kill him so you’re rooting for your best cyborg buddy to fail if you think Inuyasha’s showing up at all, I know Ginkotsu’s a dick but like why not let Ginkotsu in on the plan so he can help instead of potentially fucking it up?

Yu Yu Hakusho: It’s Team Toguro’s time for the semi-finals and taking a page out of Yusuke’s book they decided to also go into it 3v5 since Younger Toguro (god that’s awkward to say why did they never give these brothers first names?) is sitting this one out and they just plain don’t have a fifth member. Mask dude beats up Discount Acid Piccolo by blowing him up and Kurama watches like ‘shit that’s broken’ because he’s watching the matches on Genkai’s advice because she’s the only one that knows how tournament arcs work (honestly it’s kind of weird that everyone they face seem to be using their tricks for the first time since the announcers always act surprised) Hiei meanwhile decides to say fuck it to the old lady’s rules and decides screaming into a bonfire and making bonfire dragons is a better use of his time. Genkai’s giving everyone advice like actually complimenting Kuwabara on his gentle soul and telling Keiko how much Yusuke loves her like she’s walking off to die. Bui beats giant sword guy by becoming even gianter axe guy and swinging a stupidly heavy weapon bigger than he is like it has no momentum which is probably the most concentrated anime thing ever within like a minute’s time. Elder Toguro fights the last three on his own and they have the same lame afterimage deal that we’ve seen a couple times now and murders one of them by just hitting everywhere while making the surviving two beg for their lives only to kill the one that actually begs and reveal that Bui and Karasu were recruited in the same way by getting the shit beat out of them until they joined Team Toguro out of pure spite to become strong enough to kill them. Honestly that’s pretty neat and if they added this last dude as their fifth member they probably would’ve won since if I recall the last round has some shenanigans with who the fifth member is and having an actual alternate would’ve come in real hand but Elder Toguro’s an asshole and murders this last dude too just because his brother’s not here to yell at him for not doing it. Kurama meets the other two in the hallway and they do the anime thing of ‘I’m so fast I could’ve killed you but I won’t’ and Karasu has a big gay boner for Kurama but who doesn’t. Genkai and Toguro meet up and hash out their history, idk why they have to do this now when it could happen during the tournament and Genkai could still contribute to fighting for the team and maybe wear Toguro down a bit if she’s determined to die but I guess they don’t want the tournament structure getting in the way of their fight. But yeah, next episode recap is a solemn speech by Yusuke with no background music and it’s called “The Death of Genkai” wonder what’ll happen.

Fate Extra: Hakuno, Nero and Rin finally reach the last floor and their opponent is that dude from the first episode who killed someone with chess and has only been vaguely mentioned since but we’re supposed to be afraid of them. Apparently Girl!Hakuno only beat him last time because he was having his period that day or something and his broken ability forgot to be broken idk they say things and then refuse to give context, I’d kill for an exposition dump at this point. Anyway his Servant is Gawain who’s been playing groundskeeper for 900 years after Ansem the Twice rescued his Master and the kid started agreeing with him out of nowhere and is like ‘Yeah sure kill all humans with the moon computer why not’ and they said if Gawain fought Twicedude they wouldn’t have lost like Boob!Hakuno did so get fucked I guess. They also steal the scene from Code Geass where they’re talking about past regrets and an unmoveable present but the protagonist wants the Future which is kind of funny because Gawain’s garden does kind of look like the Thought Elevator. So yeah we’re gonna go full Wall-E and have Hakuno reset the world for humans to kind of keep going after a thousand year boot up period even though that means Hakuno and Rin will die because they’re basically computer programs at this point. Leo’s garden area is pretty neat, like the way Gawain doesn’t really wanna fight anymore but is just going off the last thing that made sense to him the whole thing kind of reminds me of a Dark Souls boss which is always fun. Leo wakes up and schools Hakuno and Nero with Gawain’s Sun Kamehameha Getsuga Tensho and shoots them all the way down to the first floor to start a New Game+ speedrun.

Bakemonogatari: So before they can give Black Hanekawa the succ to calm her down, they find out Shinobu’s missing and since she’s the best succ-er around they’re kinda fucked also she’s a nigh-powerless vampire in the body of a child wandering around looking for gas station donuts so someone should prolly take care of that. It’s funny how Hitagi talks about Araragi being equally concerned for Shinobu and Hanekawa and that being a sign of his kindness but to be fair he didn’t even start looking for Shinobu until they needed her to fix Hanekawa so idk if that really checks out, like I’m sure he’s concerned but I wouldn’t exactly call it equal. Black Hanekawa escapes being tied up because cat and also Oshino just kinda peaced out on watching her and is just like ‘well I was trying to relieve Hanekawa’s stress and vampire succ is WAY more efficient than murder so let’s find your vampire loli” and Araragi enlists his whole harem sans Hitagi who’s covering directly for Hanekawa to search the city for Shinobu (also all of them tell him the same jokes from the write-in show from last episode which doesn’t relate to anything I just thought it was funny) Black Hanekawa is just as fun as her memetic sexy ditz status would imply and kind of puts the screws to Araragi about how since Apparitions are creatures that live off of either human suffering or worship just paling around with them casually won’t be enough to satisfy them and Shinobu’s prolly really frustrated about going from busty god of all vampires to glorified utility item loli. Also she tells him the reason Hanekawa’s manifested the same amount of stress in a few weeks as it took for 17 years in abusive household is because she likes him and now that he’s with Hitagi that’s really frustrated her and if they just forget Hitagi and boink then this whole situation can disappear. So yeah, one episode left and that’s where they’re leaving the cliffhanger, I mean anyone with eyes could see that was where this was going all along but there is something kind of amazing about what a pure distillation of the harem genre this has become, like the formation of his harem has literally become the instigator of the plot it’s so dumb and I kind of love it.

Sailor Moon Crystal: So Hotaru meets up with Chibi-Usa in the Shadow Realm and is protecting both her and her crystal from the full control of… fuck I don’t remember Dark Hotaru’s name and I’m not looking it up, I remember it’s a kinky title and a number so I’mma just say Dominatrix Six. So we essentially have a pause on that whole “Mamoru has to stretch his soul out to keep Chibi-Usa’s heart from stopping” which really didn’t go anywhere I guess they just really didn’t want Mamoru to be a part of this climax. Hotaru’s dad has a flashback about he was an ordinary evil genius when he got a message from an evil space god that impregnated his lab assistant and turned him into a SUPER evil genius… as one does. He traps Usagi and the Outer Senshi in an elevator of death that… does… something. Idk it looks like it takes them to the Shadow Realm but Usagi is just like “Oh no I’m scared, wait no I’m not.” And heart-beams it away and he never mentions the trap or what it was supposed to do once they get to his basement full of goo monsters. They stomp the goo monsters and he becomes Purple Piccolo for a bit and is supposedly stronger but Haruka kicks his ass and is about to kill him when Usagi suddenly doesn’t want to murder anymore just because it’s Hotaru’s crazy dad but then changes her mind five seconds later just to steal the kill from Haruka. Ancient Egyptian Laser Beams pop out of the floor and Pluto has to Steven Universe Bubble them out of the way but the Inner Guardians who were on the upper floors get caught up in the blast and them getting hit makes Usagi de-transform from Super Saiyan Sailor Saiyan so it means they’re probably dead maybe possibly or far more likely Usagi’ll cry about it for ten minutes and they’ll be fine thanks to the tear of the goofy goober or something.

Durararax2: We get some info that Ruri has a stalker… well she probably has a lot of stalkers but this one’s actually good at it and takes kickboxing and licks thumbnail pics of her and shit. Anri’s worried about Mikado because he’s… happy? I mean she’s right, but just a weird red flag system, she’s just upset that instead of believing Masaomi would come back on his own he seems to be trying to take action to fix the city so he can make Masaomi come back all the while there’s these dudes dressing like Blue Squares and beating the shit out of any Dollars that don’t follow the rules and also they’re doing Dollars membership by invite only now so basically everything’s changed. It’s gone from “There are no rules” to “There are no rules but if you break these non-rules we’ll come beat you up” and “Anyone can join” to “Anyone can join as long as you get an invitation” I don’t know how you make a vetting process seem evil but that’s definitely it. Aoba got an invite to the chat room from Celty because he basically blackmailed her and Akane’s doing her dojo stuff with cute dojo people and the Orihara twins while Ruri’s stalker trains upstairs and also Celty deflected a rocket launcher and blew up a helicopter but is still scared of one dude on a motorcycle. Kasuka comes to Shizuo for help with Ruri’s stalker except he’s not in the Dollars anymore and was just kinda on their mailing list and I’m not entirely convinced he even knows how to work a computer so he’s of no help but they do have him babysit their new cat so now we have cathead Shizuo which it’s hard to improve on old Shizuo but this may be it here fellas. Also Ruri’s stalker is outside Celty’s house and knows Ruri is there but given he’s just some creepy picture-licking dude that knows some kickboxing and Celty’s house has an immortal dullahan, a super strong special effects artist, a hive mind katana schoolgirl, a yandere doctor and whatever the hell Shizuo is I think they MIGHT be able to take him.

Hi, i finally send the request! sorry didn't send it sooner it's because sometimes tumblr would delete ask if there's too many or it's clogging the user's askbox .

So it was before the traveller came into the picture, their grace wanted to look around in teyvat. But unfortunately, in mondstat they weren't welcomed, even Venti despise them. When they go to Liyue for shelter, Zhongli asked the adepti to hunt them down. Their grace somehow managed to Inazuma, sadly...their grace get the same treatment. Then everything went down in dragonspine, the archons stare down at the "imposter" and finally they killed them. Before they drew their last breath they said "I'm sorry.... I'm so sorry for being...a burden to you all" with that teyvat felt their grace's emotions..

The winds howling

The thunder roared

The earth underneath them were shaking

The oceans were in crashing

All of teyvat were grieving for them

They all felt their pain

The Archons realize what they did, even when they begged on their knees, asking for forgiveness... it's too late. To remind their failure, they made an altar somewhere in Liyue as a place for their grace to rest. It always hurt for the archons to see their body in a glass coffin. No matter how extravagant the clothes they put on their body, it would not change the scars they inflicted on them. Everyday the altar filled with offerings and gifts from bouquet of Cecilias, star shaped Cor lapis and even necklace made out of sango pearls.

Until years later,

They woke up from their endless slumber. The Archons was surprised but immediately bowed down to them. But their grace were confused with their act. In fact, they're asking them if they could go adventure around the teyvat. Somehow forgot the pain they used to felt. They just simply forgot that it was happened in the first place

How would the archons react in this situation?

zhongli. the god of contracts and the god of war. how interesting. the smartest out of the 7.. yet he couldn’t even recognize you. he brought scars to you, he was happy that you were bleeding, what a beautiful red scarlet color, dripping with such a viscosity so perfect… he inflicted that onto you. and it was to late. he couldn’t save you. no matter what. every single time he looks at you. in that crystal clear glass coffin, it brings him pain and guilt. its what he deserves after all… but the moment he saw you woke up he rejoiced bowing to you praying for your apology even offering his own head. yet you didn’t even remember what happened.you asked to go out and have fun. you asked him to stop sobbing tears from the sky about something that never happened. it did happen though. the scars on you are still visible. now hes stuck with two choices. confess and give himself up or live with the guilt and pain never telling you what happened to be your innocent and loyal acolyte. if he picks choice one; your reaction is.. emotional. out of reaction you start screaming at him them weeping. how could you impersonate yourself?? and did they do this to everyone else that looked like you?! how can they be trusted now?? it all depends on you now. will you forgive him or will you kill him? choosing the second option is a straight sword in his heart. he understands and as you watch him stab the dull blade into himself, tears not out of pain but out of guilt and shame, falling to your knees, the person you cared for is now gone. of course, this wouldn’t happen if you choose forgiving him he will forever be indebted to you. he will give his whole life worshiping you, forget liyue, he needs to pay for his sins. centuries of centuries may go by before he finally allowed himself to be forgiven. this.. is only one outcome of course. another outcome said before is just not saying anything at all. the guilt and shame will get to him of course. maybe even driving him to insanity. he cant stay quiet no. maybe the others can but he just can’t either way. the ending for him or the beginning of him all depends on you in the end. how fitting. a god that isnt really a god but just a normal being. the pressure is immense. so. choose now, or watch the whole of teyvat fall.

venti. the first character you got. as the banners went by you cared for every one of them. yet they couldn’t recognize you. your death hit him like a hammer banging on his head. what made it worse that he, himself, was the cause of it. the tears you gave him with not a single drop of mercy was given to you. he should’ve listened to you. he should’ve heard you out. it doesn’t matter now . you’re gone. he’s the one who dresses you in the most beautiful garments. the apparel so perfect and he is so sure you’d love it if you were here with him. he saw you, alive and well, he was happy, he was terrified, he quickly bowed to you. unlike zhongli he doesn’t start spewing out sorrys. when he hears from you yourself; you don’t know what happened. he panics and says he was joking. oh dear. oh dear indeed. now he’s serving you. like he’s always wanted. from you perspective he’s just very clingy. but there is something deeper. every hug he does for you, the effort he gives to make sure your happy, the clinging, it all stems from guilt. but its been 1 year since you first came back to life. the other archons obviously know whats happening, but lets just keep you happy, okay?

ei. the one who hurt you the most. the guilt is unbearable. it hurts more then when she lost her own sister. that look on your face. pleading eyes wishing for you to please check what she is doing. it was to late when she realized you were you! not an imposter. she wonders now. what would’ve happened if one of the other imposters were you. she has killed so many for just having the same hair as you. she saw you awoke she bowed. thats when it broke her. you don’t remember. her heart shatters into a million of pieces. she doesn’t deserve you. she is nothing. she hides hides from her duties hides from you hides from everyone even yae miko. she promises to come out when you understand whats happening. which leaves the other archons to deal with it. the plane of shame and guilt. it is no longer a place where she finds peace in and can meditate. it is for to repent for her sins. she can no longer call herself a god or archon. she gives up. she prays to you to remember. she wanted eternity with you. but she, the god of eternity, could’ve taken that away from you. she is no longer worthy. she is now just your loyal, shattered, acolyte.

oH ANON MY BELOVED prepare yourself because i have sO MANY RECS and i'm still discovering new fics to read every day it's become overwhelming aaaAAA

anyway, gonna start off with one author in particular: @artistefish!! i've read through maybe 90% of her inuyasha fics, all ranging from one shots to full fledged multichapter stories, and i tell you i will NOT stop singing my praises about how imaginative and creative and charming her stories and AU's are! she's also a GREAT artist and very often the fics in this list have great art to go along with them, so be sure to check out her blog for art as well!! 🥰🥰🥰 here are some of my favorites:

Freak Attraction (AO3) and its sequel, Freak Attraction: Seven Man Circus (AO3) : an AU set in the Meiji era where Inuyasha has been paraded as a freak in a demon circus and Kagome is a schoolgirl who takes it upon herself to set him free. i think this was the first fic/AU 've read from this author and i'm in LOVE with every aspect of it, from the setting to the plot itself to the sweet, sweet developing romance scenes ;;v;; (i'd also recommend checking AF's tags for FA and SMC in her blog for some great art!! i also have a tag specifically for in in my blog lmao)

Miroku Private Eye (AO3) and its prequel Dizzy Defense for an Underdog (AO3) : a magNIFICENT 30's AU that i'm still working on reading through; but i tell you i've already read Dizzy Defense and i'm in absolute love w/ Inuyasha and Kagome in this universe ;;v;; (some side stories!! | AF's tags in her blog: #dizzy defense, #30s au, #mpe | her sideblog @bloodhoundandkitten that i HIGHLY recommend you check out, i'm so in love with it ;;v;; | my tag for this au #iy 30's au

Abnormalities (AO3) : DID SOMEONE ORDER ANGST?? WE GOT SOME ANGST OVER HERE!!! :''')))) okay okay, this is an AU in which instead of staying in the feudal era, Inuyasha and Kagome got stranded in the present era post-series, but it didn't bode well for them once some scientists got wind of their strange powers and abducted them. this one broke me, i tell you 😭 (AF's tag #abnormalities | my tag #fic: abnormalities)

The Last Dog Demon : a The Last Unicorn AU featuring dog demon!Inuyasha and samurai!Kagome (and Miroku and Sango as Schmendrik and Molly Grue respectively which is honestly perfect). i gotta say, i saw that movie for the first time specifically so i could get some insight into what this AU was all about, bc when i saw the art and concepts for it i fell in love with it!! it's still p early in the story, but if you check AF's tag for it you can get some GREAT stuff ;v;

Ghost Hunt AU : oooOOOHHH BOY lemme tell you, ghost au’s are the WORST bc many of them involve the characters not being in the same physical plane, and therefore there being many variations of not being able to see, hear, or touch each other no matter how much they want to, and that kind of pining KILLS ME!!!! yet i still flock toward that shit and have no one to blame but mysELF ASDASFAgAS...... ahem anyway. it’s a ghost au. Inuboy is a 500+(?) year old ghost who’s bound to a decrepit old mansion. Kagome’s a sceptic yet well meaning sister who accompanies her little bro in his ghost hunts. tragic hijinks ensue. please check these tags. i also keep track of it. cry. enjoy. :’)))

honorable mention to the Mummy AU : it has no fic but it has some fantastic art; and honestly, Inu and Kagome as O’Connell and Evelyn fits them sO WELL it’s almost uncanny ashfashg (plu Moroha as Alex?? Miroku as Johnathan?! SANGO AS ARDETH???!! sign me the fuck up)

also wanna mention some of her fics i haven’t gotten to yet but i’m very much planning to: An Epic, Tragic Love Story; The Delinquent Boyfriend; A Memory of Red Flame; and Do Your Own Stunts. i’ll get to them eventually ahsgdasghd
