It has come to my attention as SCP 8783-A and SCP 8783-B’s main caretaker that I would ask for more resources and permission to study SCP 8783-A/B’s ability’s to take care of children further. It appears from my observations the two have a keen eye for easing scared or frightened children into a more calm and relaxed state despite SCP 8783-A and B’s looks.

From what I have been able to gather so far with the resources given to me and my team it seems that SCP 8783-A has a dopamine like ability that radiates off its body (Similar too it’s heat wave like attack) onto said target, this has mostly used so far on researchers in my team with mental health issues akin to SCP 999 and it’s dopamine like powers.

This shows that 8783-A is smart enough to care and build a bond with humans leading to my request to have more liberties to test out SCP 8783-A and B’s caretaker instincts.

With SCP 8783-B it seems to be a different story as 8783-B instead has a melatonin like aura around it when it’s vapor is inhaled, This seems to be controlled by 8783-B though has through many tests with D-Class depending on the situation D-Class were either lured to sleep or simply had no effects after sniffing the vapor.

In recent studies it has shown that sleep deprived and or insomniac D-Class are more likely to be lured to sleep by 8783-B than ones that had a full 8 hours of sleep the previous night.

For now this concludes this weeks study’s and I hope my request can see you through to the end.

[Entry: SCP-5M00N]

This being is dangerous. It can and will kill in an instant. It can be as silent as the wind and perform a lethal attack. It strongly dislikes humans. It is tall and has the ability to change height at will, but usually stays around 11-12 feet whenever it can. It has thousands of teeth, made for tearing into flesh and its prey. The thing on the back of its head looks like a hat, but it is actually an extra appendage. It can move it however it wants, and like its height, can change it willingly.

We have not yet discovered its main food supplement. It eats whatever meat we give it. It prefers the larger mammals to the smaller, such as pork or beef. However, it seems to also get nutrients elsewhere, but in a way that does not require it to hunt. It seems most attentive at noon and at midnight, and can be seen looking directly into the sun or moon during those times. Perhaps it is feeding off of them, but we are unsure.

We want to test other forms of food. Perhaps human meat is something to consider.

5M00N seems to be able to distort camera footage, unfortunately. The best we can do is pictures, but even then, it seems strangely attuned to us. We are unsure how, as all of the cameras are hidden. Perhaps it is hiding more power than we originally thought?

We put a human in with it today. It was a small child, perhaps about three or four years in age, and while it was a skinny thing, 5M00N would likely devour it whole. It has thousands of teeth to hunt its prey. As we predicted, it ate the child as quickly as possible, using its head appendage to lure it into a secluded area. Audio was distorted at this point, but the child has not resurfaced, so it is safe to say 5M00N happily ate it.

Unfortunately, willing parents to give their children up are hard to come by. It will likely take months, if not years for a constant food supply. One of our Ethics Committee members, Mr. Estrella, seemed very disturbed by this. He was not in today, but a message was sent to all members, and he immediately responded back. He was not there for the final vote, so it was only appropriate that we acted upon our curiosity.

Until we receive another child, 5M00N will continue to be fed other forms of meat. It seems fond of beef and pork the most, along with its strange space diet, but that is easy enough to come by.

We have placed the human meat inside of the containment unit. SCP-5M00N has eaten every type of meat we have given it, but this is our first chance with human meat.

Unfortunately, we did not witness it devour the live prey. Once again, the cameras acted up, and we did not record any of it. However, there is no signs of the prey, so we assess that SCP-5M00N consumed it whole. We will likely not be giving it more human meat, as it is sparse and hard to get, as well as our ethics committee raising hell about it, so it will remain feeding on pork, beef, and chicken.

We are glad to see that our judgement with human meat was correct. However, we have not seen the entity nearly as much as we used to. We assume it is resting after a long meal.
