lmao so i was just going through my camera roll and clearing some photos out, when i stumbled across this screenshot i took in january of 2020 and…
i’m in shock. i literally don’t know how i forgot this happened, like i was actually astounded when i found this. NEVER forget when steve rogers’ ending was so horrifically out-of character that SEBASTIAN STAN HIMSELF posted a screenshot to instagram of a tweet dogging on his ending. it’s been years and i still haven’t forgiven marvel. i don’t think i ever will.

The Duffers were actually insane for "you never say it" "I say it." Vs "I didn't say it" "You didn't have to "

is it just me or i desperately want Robin's mentoring to be toward Mike.
like i completely understand why Will could receive help from Robin, since he's coming to terms with his sexuality, just like Robin had to do, but he already has an older, mentor-like figure in his life. Jonathon, my beloved!!! sure, Jonathon probably doesn't understand everything about Will's feelings, but Will doesn't need help with understanding himself because i'm pretty sure he knows damn well who he is. he just needs help realising that that doesn't make him a 'mistake'.
Mike, on the other hand, is, in my opinion, pretty fucking clueless. confused, too. i feel like he'd definitely benefit more from some gay mentoring, in order for him to navigate his feelings a little better. because i just don't think he has any idea.. he has always been the 'oblivious' one.
to be honest, i'd be even happier if Robin somehow mentored both. and in no way am i implying this would take over her entire plot for season 5, as i know people get pretty mad about that !!
anyways just a thought let me know what you guys think!!

actually thinking about how finn is like totally allowed to reveal that mike would be accepting of will’s sexuality and has several times in interviews and the like. like if the reveal of the van scene is either mike does or doesn’t accept his sexuality finn would not be aloud to speak candidly about that. the audience isn’t supposed to wonder whether mike will accept wills sexuality, we’re supposed to wonder whether mike will Return His Feelings!!! the van scene is meant to be a cliffhanger right? we don’t get any closure on will lying (a big theme of the show so obv important) plus finn has said that the duffers would pay it off meaning mikes monologue wasn’t the pay off, that was not a direct response, that was not him rejecting will, there is still more to be said, more to be resolved. i think this proves wrong the idea that wills arc is about being accepted. finn wouldnt be allowed to just spoil a huge cliffhanger like that if that was the info we are waiting to be payed off. the entire audience, the ga!!! is supposed to be on the edge of their seats waiting to see if mike will return will’s feelings!!!!!
