she was the first thing miles noticed when he got into physics class.

headphone plugged in her ears, the sun from the window shining on the side of her face. her fingers twisting and turning, playing with the pen in her hand as she read a comic book.

miles was in complete awestruck

to the point their teacher told him to sit down because he's frozen in his spot, staring at her.

miles took a seat next to her.

he was awkwardly fidgeting, stealing glances at her every now and then.

he wants to talk but doesn't know how to start :(

at the cafeteria, miles is sitting down brainstorming how he will talk to her.

he didn't expect her to sit right in front of him.

she talked to his roommate in korean, though it was more like they're arguing over the food choice.

she left shortly to fetch something while ganke ate

"hey, ganke. you know the new girl?"

"[name]? yeah, she's my cousin."

"that's your cousin???"

[name] retreated back before he could ask anymore questions

the next day in physics, he sat in the same seat again.

he's writing a script about how he will talk to her and how the conversation would go if he said something like this and like that.

he heard her humming to his favourite song, sunflower; as she sat next to him.

a/n: hii tysm for ur request <3 hopefully this is something that you were looking for since you gave such an open prompt lol, i didn't really do much angst and i don't write smut at all really so i'm hoping and praying this is still enjoyable to read. limoreau has my heart and i might make a part 2 to this someday.

Marie was stressed out. Her term paper was due in two days and she had barely drafted a plan yet. Usually she was better at dealing with assignments, for goodness sake she usually got them finished the day they were assigned! But this one assignment slipped by her for multiple reasons: 

1. She hated the professor teaching it. 

2. Said professor explained the paper horribly.

3. She was busy as fuck.

Now Marie was struggling with what most seasoned professionals call a “writing slump”. Honestly Marie was surprised she hadn’t completely burnt out by this point but this situation was not going to make the paper write itself. And so… she continued to procrastinate in a multitude of ways, which may or may not have included reading fanfics of her most recent obsession. By the time she had finished reading something that would probably be considered a novel the sun was already dipping behind the Performing Arts school that Marie’s window faced. Well shit.

Marie realized that she desperately needed a change of scenery so at least half of this paper could be written out tonight. That meant having to find a good enough cafe close to campus since she knew that the library would be packed full of students in the same situation as she was right now. As she packed up her laptop and notes, she tried to find a good cafe with wifi. Key-word: tried.

She spent a whole ten minutes scrolling through student forums and Google Maps until she finally found somewhere decent… a place that was even owned by a God U graduate. So she quickly grabbed her headphones and started walking out of campus in the direction of ‘The Woods’.

A loud guitar solo was blasting through her headphones when Marie pushed open the door to the beautifully decorated cafe. She stared in wonder at the multiple lights that hung from the ceiling adorned with vintage lampshades as well as the huge variety of plants and greenery that decorated the place. Oh she had definitely made the right choice.

Slipping off her headphones and dropping them into the opening of her backpack Marie fixed her shirt and walked up to the counter. She waited for one of the other customers, a tall blonde dude she vaguely recognized from God U. The guy was directly talking to one of the baristas behind the counter who had a little name tag that read: ‘Andre’ and was decorated with random sketches.

“Andre stop fucking flirting! We have an actual customer that’s not Luke.” A velvety voice yelled out from behind one of the fancy coffee machines before a figure stepped out and Marie stood dumbfounded. How could one person look so fucking stunning?

“Sorry man.” Marie was brought back to Earth as the voice of Andre cut through her haze. Shit when was she last attracted to someone this much? Probably never.

“Nah it’s good, Cate’s probably waiting for me. This place has the best coffee by the way.” The blonde guy, who Marie knew was called Luke now, said as he turned and gave her a wink before he walked off with two cuts filled with matcha.

“Flattery isn’t going to make me forget Luke, but you actually paying would. Hi, sorry about th-” The barista yelled at Luke’s retreating back before they focused back on Marie. Jordan felt their jaw drop open as the person in front of them smiled sheepishly with a little twinkle in her eye.

“Uh you okay?” Marie asked as her smile dropped into a more confused expression.

“Yes, yup, sorry. Long day. What can I get you?”

“I actually have no idea, do you have anything that’ll get my paper written for me?” Marie asked as a laugh left her mouth. Jordan immediately thought that she had the nicest laugh she had ever heard. It was like the congruence of dozens of instruments.

Then almost by magic Jordan’s hand slightly changed before her eyes and she glanced up to see that Jordan had shifted, only for them to pull their hand away from hers in favor of pushing Andre.

“Oww okay fine whatever, I shall stop your highness.” Andre exclaimed out as he retreated to the other cash register. Jordan turned around and stared at Marie for another second before a smile reappeared on his face.

“It’s cause I’m the best, obviously.” Andre chimed out, making Jordan send him another poisonous glare which softened the second they looked back at Marie.

so this is in the timeline of where you and simon have had this arrangement for a while and he's already fully aware he is down bad for you. i'm talking you're his everything, he won't love again, if not you then no one type of endgame. this means he is not seeing anyone else, everyone is turned down. you, unknowingly feel the same way but you're dealing with the exact opposite way. you're dating around, trying to find anyone who could mimic if not a sliver of what you're feeling for simon. you land on dating this dude who is... mediocre at best.

you break things off with simon, both of you leaving heartbroken but simon still remains your friend.

he's nice, but he isn't simon. he's good, but he isn't simon. you get him to meet the 141 who are possibly more surprised that you're dating anyone than you were. (what you don't know is that everyone knew you and simon were a 'thing' they were just waiting for the two of you to get your head out of your ass. price was the only one who knew because, for the first time, simon came heartbroken, searching for comfort from the only person he could think of. it was a rough night)

it isn't until you find out james is cheating that you break things off with him. he was going behind your back with multiple women and his flimsy excuse was that "you didn't have time for him and you cheated with the 141 anyway". you cried and threw him out, breaking up with him then and there. it was messy and bad, and you have never felt more awful. you and simon weren't even on speaking terms and yet you needed him.

Showing up for Tubbathon 2024 was a wild one.

Having your hand duct taped to Tommy's was also a whole thing in itself. At least you weren't working with Ranboo, who had no idea how to cook, unlike their poor partner Freddie. Recipe For Disaster was probably a horrible idea to join.

You and Tommy, Green Team, versus Ranboo and Freddie, Orange Team.

You'd never really talked on stream before. You either communicated through Minecraft signs or in-game chats. If you did speak, however, you'd often use a voice changer to make you seem a little more understandable, as you knew your accent was a bit difficult to understand sometimes.

You'd also met with your friends in real life before, of course, but you made sure the entire trip you strained your voice to sound a little more understandable.

But, now cooking with one of your long-time friends, the big guy TommyInnit himself, you didn't seem as worried or insecure when you spoke. I mean, you'd barely spoken, but you were in a comfortable environment - Tubbo's house - and were accompanied by friends you'd known for a long time now.

The stream had started and Tubbo had explained your rules, leaving the two groups to get to cooking.

"Hey, mate, can you hold the bowl while I stir the eggs?" You kindly ask Tommy, wriggling a whisk out of the jar between the stations.

The blonde blinks in silence, staring at you, "Your accent went 0 to 100 very quickly, Y/n/n" He giggles.

"Wait, what?" You glance about, feeling a little nervous as you plop the whisk into the measuring cup, needing to stir the eggs.

"Not in a bad way! Like, I never noticed your fuckin' accent was so, like, heavy before? You didn't sound like that last time we met up, or talked" He shrugs as he explains himself.

"Oh" You shrug, watching as he secures his free hand around the handle of the glass measuring cup. You begin to whisk the eggs, poking at the yolks to make it go a little bit faster. "I mean, I usually use a little voice changer to make me a little more understandable"

"Ohhhhh, wait, that makes sense" He nods, "Ow! Calm down, I'm not trying to get surgery on my wrist now!" He quickly pulls his hand away, feeling something pop.

"Shit, I'm sorry! Are you alright?"

He bites his tongue, nodding as you reach for his hand. "I'm good"

You gently grab his wrist, quickly and lightly kneading the area for him.

Ranboo looks up, seeing you two distracted in your green aprons. "They're taking a massage therapy break already" they comment, tapping Freddie on the shoulder.

"C'mon, man up, Tommy! You'll be okay" Freddie lightly smiles, cracking a few eggs over the measuring cup, which they'd just struggled to find.

"Dude, I just had surgery on my crowned jewels, I don't think I will!"

"Good God, help me now" You chuckle

Ranboo and Freddie go silent for a moment before the boy with the red hair speaks up.

"You weren't kidding about the voice changer, were you?"

You shake your head no, "Why would I lie about that, mate?"

The two shrug, hearing Tubbo fake yell at them for cheating since they were conversing with you. The four of you jokingly plan a rebellion that you'd put into place for later, deciding to focus on the food right now.

"Tommy, Tommy, the plate, not the floor! If you drop that I'll actually kill you"

"It's on the damn plate!"

Tommy quickly sets the pan down to help you fold the guacamole together, using his one hand to hold the bowl while you rushingly mix it all up. From the avocados to the lemon juice, you got it to a nice consistency, and, with a struggle, get a dab of it on the paper plate you were given next to the burrito.

"I think he's gonna like it either way, considering most of what he eats, he orders." You shrug, setting the bowl of guacamole down.

Tommy lightly laughs, "Yeah, that's true"

You were finished before the timer, luckily, however, Freddie and Ranboo were still working, using each hand to do their own tasks to work a little faster.

"Tubbo, can you understand me with my accent this thick?" You shout into the other room, purposely making your voice and accent sound a bit thicker to try and mess wirh him.

It's silence until he answers, like he needed to translate your words. "Barely!"

You and Tommy laugh, chatting away while the other group works.

"What's Australia even like? Just like... giant spiders and kangaroos?"

"Holy shit"

"I'm serious! It's not like I'm going anytime soon"

"Well, it's not that. It's like the UK but much warmer, and yeah, kinda scarier. It's like a real-life Better Minecraft mod"

"You guys have armored skeletons attacking you??" Tommy laughs as he teases you.

"I hate you!" You laugh

"I love how you say 'you', it sounds so dumb"

"It sounds like how you Brits say it!" You smile, using your free hand to try and fight him in a playful manner.

"Dumb in a nice way! Dumb in a nice way!" He shouts, trying to use his free hand to protect himself from the cat fight. "They weren't lying when they said you Aussies fight like wild animals, what's next, you gonna kick the shit out of me?" He asks, egging you on.

"I'm gonna kick you in the crown jewels if you don't shut up!" You joke, making him scream in terror, probably killing the viewers' ears as well.

He yelps, falling back as he drags you down with him, having slipped on himself.

"Tommy!"

"Ow!"

"Jesus Christ, they've broken each other's backs off that floor, I heard it" Freddie lightly laughs, holding the paper plate up for Ranboo so they could put the food on it. "I think Y/n's dead"

"Tubbo! We need the ambulance!" Ranboo laughs, "Get Eryn back here, they actually can't get up! The tied hands have impaired them tremendously"

"Tommy, just stand up!"

"My balls hurt!"

"Then let me stand up, I can't when you're holding your dick together!"

Eryn quickly rushes over, helping the both of you stand up slash getting Tommy to release his tied hand from his crotch. You help him up and pat him on the shoulder with your free hand as Tubbo wraps up the time.

In the end, your groups nearly tied, you and Tommy one point behind Freddie and Ranboo. Honestly, they did deserve the win.

"I still can't believe you fooled us with the voice changer, even changing your voice in real life. I swear, you sound totally different," Freddie lightly chuckles, freeing himself from the apron.

"In a good way, though" Ranboo adds, "Your accent is really fucking cool, trust me"

After the stream ended, Tubbo turned on some music while you guys cleaned up. He and Eryn were sorting out the lights, cameras, and microphone while the four of you cleaned up the kitchen. You decided to clean each other's messes, trying to make it a little more enjoyable, which none of you minded.

The music, picked my Tubbo himself, was an early 2000s hip hop mix, titled something like 'Greatest 2000s Hip Hop Hits' or something. And of course, Ranboo and Tommy were getting down to it, mostly leaving you and Freddie to do the cleaning while you laughed at them singing and dancing along.

Tommy was bouncing around, not focused on cleaning whatsoever as he tugs on your hand, wanting you to join in.

"Y/n, Freddie, cmon!"

"This isn't High School Musical, dude" You reply

"You deserve a break!" Ranboo shouts, pulling Freddie into whatever fucked up dance trapezoid you guys had going on.

You sigh and set down the cups you were washing and turn the water off. You spray the water from your hands on Freddie, starting a war as you join their little dance party.

Freddie gasps and smiles, throwing the little bit of water in the measuring cup at you in retaliation.

"Australian versus Brit! Who will win!?" Tommy shouts with a little laugh.

Eddie was nervous. He was outside y/n's house at nine o'clock and was planning to get her back.

He had gone over this speech a million times, he bought her favourite flowers and his guitar to serenade her with her favourite song.

It was elaborate for him as usually, he wasn't one for romance but y/n had changed everything. She truly was his world.

When they broke up a month ago, they had stayed friends and were still close but he missed her more than anything.

She was the first woman he ever truly fell in love with and he wanted her back.

Things had just gotten on top of them both and they had started fighting more than usual. It culminated in them breaking up and left them both with broken hearts.

No more though. Eddie was going to get his girl back.

First, though he needed to get her attention and made sure his sweetheart (his guitar) was firmly in place and left the flowers on her porch for a second just so he could get her attention.

He manages to climb up onto her roof and crawls over to her window. It makes him feel nostalgic as he used to do this all the time and y/n always giggled at him.

He hears her laughter and smiles but stops still when he sees the cause of her laughter. She's dancing with a guy he hasn't seen before, a beautiful smile on her features.

Eddie feels like he's been punched in the gut and his heart breaks all over again.

She's moved on... Has a new love. He's lost her for good. Numb he gets off the roof and rushes off to his van.

Stupid! Stupid! He groans and wipes the tears away from his eyes as he drives off.

Y/n finds flowers on her porch the next morning. At first, she thinks it was from Matt. He had come to visit her last night.

Matt was her childhood friend. She loved seeing him again and they had watched movies, danced and talked about Eddie.

They talked about how much she missed him, that she wanted to be his girl again but wasn't sure if that's what Eddie wanted.

Matt had given her a stern talking too.

"Tell him! Don't keep this bottled up. How you ever know if he feels the same if you don't tell him y/n?".

Of course, he was right and she was determined to talk to Eddie today? She's curious about the flowers. Did Eddie bring them? Why didn't he just ask to come in?

Having a bad feeling about all of this she rushes to school.

To her frustration, she doesn't see Eddie until lunch. When she does he isn't his usual exuberant self and it worries her. It worries Dustin and the others as they are all looking at him anxiously.

"Eddie?". She approaches the Hellfire table and he looks up giving her a brief smile.

"What is it, sweetheart?". He's upset, she can tell by the way he won't look her in the eye, the tension in his body.

"Can we talk?". She fights the urge to hug him and stroke his hair. Tell him that everything will be okay. He nods and gets up following her out.

"Did you come by mine last night? I found flowers on my porch? Why didn't you come in?". He shrugs.

"I came the usual way and was on the roof, saw you and that dude. Didn't want to bother you and your new boyfriend". His voice hitches and he looks away.

Boyfriend? He thought Matt was her boyfriend? She softens.

"Eddie, oh baby, Matt is my childhood friend. He's not my boyfriend". He pauses his features brightening for the first time today.

"I saw you dancing". She cups his cheek and cuddles into him.

"We danced when we were kids, he came to visit and wanted a dance. After that, I poured my heart out to him about you and he told me to tell you how much I've been missing you".

Eddie grins.

"What a coincidence princess. I was planning to tell you the same last night. Had flowers, was even going to serenade you with all your favourite songs". Her heart flutters and she kisses him.

"Now that I would love to experience Eds, come on let's go back to yours. Cuddle up and maybe you could play me some of those songs yeah?".

He nods eagerly.

"We are going to make it this time baby, a month without you was hell. I need you forever princess". She agrees with him.

Forever sounds totally metal.

Berry: Sorry for those who have been waiting for these since February! I still hope you enjoy this and thank you for your guys' patience. What helped me write this was listening to Enchanted by Taylor Swift, don't know why but it works *laughs*

In all honesty I could see this situation as a constant back and forth, for you as well as Deuce

"Hey (Y/N) could you help me with this?" He'd ask sheepishly. " I kind of zoned out when professor Crewel was discussing this..." His voice trailed but you couldn't help but form a small smile.

Hanging out with the rest of the first years was fun and all but often times it led to just the two of you talking endlessly about your guys' interests and many other topics. Which in turn amplified the growing feeling in your heart.

But as the two of you started to get closer, it also amplified that one nagging thought in your head

'You still have to go home...'

You would get this random sting in your chest every time you hang out with Deuce especially when the two of you are laughing. Which in turn made your smile falter for a quick sec.

"-And Epel came running forward cuz Ace..." His voice would trail as he would noticed something off with you but continued on thinking that you might just be drained from the day.

Deuce is a smart guy just not academically but almost everyone can agree that he'd take note of people's expression here and there.

His suspicions would only grew as your behavior continued to falter each time he tries to get close to you.

He wouldn't confront you at first, perhaps in fear of being too invasive. no. He'd be more attentive, be more caring towards you in hopes you'd cheer up.

But you already know it does the opposite.

"Hey (Y/N) I remembered you said this was your favorite snack, I got some extra madol so here."

"Hey (Y/N)! all that studying we did at ramshackle helped me a lot, look!" He beamed.

"Feeling sore? lemme take a look." Deuce gently held your wrist and started massaging it. "Feeling better?"

You wanted to smile and enjoy the moment... but the thought of seeing him hold back tears as he'd eventually have to see you walk through the Mirror of Darkness one last time gutted you every time.

'All that effort and you're just gonna leave him?'

'Why take the risk if you'll know it'll just leave you both alone in the end?'

Your overthinking led you to isolate from him, distracting yourself from the pain instead of facing it head on out of fear that it would ruin that joyous smile of his. But of course, Deuce's confusion was stirring him like crazy for days on end to the point Ace had to butt in

"Dude... if you're that frustrated with (Y/N), go ask them!" Ace groaned. " You've been looking constipated about it for the whole day. If you think something's wrong, go do it before some classmate gets the wrong impression of your face."

Ace was actually worried about the two of you so

"It's nothing to be concerned about Deuce!" You yelled out.

"nothing to be concerned about??" Deuce snapped. "(Y/N) You still continued to help despite me asking you about the same goddamn question cuz I couldn't get it through my thick head."

"YOU helped me out when picking gifts when I wanted to send some back home. " And you always do this thing where'd you glance at me whenever Ace jokes about my shitty past. Do you have any idea what that does to me?"

"Of course I'd be concerned about the person that stuck by me, when they well...aren't there by my side anymore.

If tears weren't already there, there is now

Deuce would still hate himself for making you cry in that moment as he'd try to comfort you.

In that moment in between your sniffled cries, you explained yourself all the while Deuce held you tighter.

"Why not...take the leap?" He interjected. You looked at him confused. "I mean, gotta live with no regrets and all" He chuckled. "Even if...you still wanna go back home, of course I'll be sad but at least it happened-we happened y'know?"

"You'd be okay with that?" You look up at his teal eyes, the look of determination that made you fall for him in the first place.

Once the relationship is established, I could wholeheartedly see it as a bright one. Sure, there would be times where you or even Deuce himself would breakdown knowing what comes out at the end but there's always reassurance even some butting in from friends Ace.

Deuce would still have that small ounce of hope that you'd stay but he'll respect your decision no matter what.

WWAAAH THIS ISSUE OH MY GOD!!!! I think i start half of my reaction-to-a-new-issue asks with "omg this issue" BUT I CANT HELP IT LITERALLY THIS ISSUE ALMOST MADE ME CRY (in a good way). im so happy for this little blue man and his family starting to patch up some!!! Slugpelt opening up about her trauma to her kids, i really love your portrayal on love-bombing and manipulation with Cashew. I think it's really important for things like that to be portrayed properly in media without it being romanticized. And obviously yeah SLUGPELT admits she romanticized it when she was younger because he was the only one to treat her that way and he was HERS but you dont romanticize it with your writing and !!!! literally i admire the way youre able to portray these things so well in writing so much. And honestly those lines of "he was the only one to tell me those things" and the fact that thats what got her so hooked to him,,, stung a little bit bc its like very vaguely relatable to me and auuuh my heart!! I'm glad she realized that he didn't love her but the fact that she loved him while knowing it was just a game to him hurt a bit. i was not expecting to vaguely relate to the equivalent of a middle-aged mother but slay i guess. And Daff's reaction,,, and Slugpelt's response to that? Mannnn my HEART i love seeing Slugpelt come around and actually try to be motherly to her kids. i love her this is a slugpelt fan club. NOW PINEPAW COMING OUT TOO!!! Dude. When i first read the line of him saying "now if were all spilling secrets.." I honestly thought of the skull thing at first. But then after like two seconds and getting a little further i was like OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO COME OUT ISNT HE. I have so many thoughts about that scene but I cannot materialize them into cohesive words. just. the whole thing was so well done. and im glad it went well for him. His whole spiral of "oh god i messed up why cant i just be normal and-" really hit me so hard and then proceeded to run me over twice, as someone who is gay that is often a thought process i would fall into, so seeing it portrayed in something is so validating man. but everyones reaction. slugpelt comforting him and being supportive, reassuring him its not weird, and that he's ok. asphodel having a look of guilt initially, assumably because of all of the times she would poke and prod at him for "needing to have kits some day" (call back to one of the first issues) , and then instantly teasing him over how she's seen him look at cormorant. Daffodil,,, man i was honestly worried about her at first because I didnt know how the implication of pine liking the same cat as her would come off to her, but her reaction??? priceless. literally so wholesome. i love how she just sees it as something exciting and something they can relate and bond over, i honestly wasnt expecting her to react like that but at the same time she generally does seem like a good sport so im not surprised in the end. seems in character for her. literally i love her. sweet baby child. literally the whole pinepaw coming out section almost made me cry it filled me with so much joy and love i love these silly little cats so much. going to be thinking about this so much for the next week istg

TYSM I'm super glad you liked the issue!! I really wanted to get across Slugpelt's perspective, to help understand why she could be taken in so thoroughly by someone like Cashew. She's got virtually no support structure in her life, and has been shown pretty much nothing but rejection her entire life, so when someone actually (seems to) choose her it means a lot. And since she's been shown to be such a distant and sometimes hurtful mother, I made sure to try and show why she is that way.

Pinepaw chose to share delights instead of horrors today! He already got everything he wants to talk about with those bones outside him, and Cootstorm did ask him not to tell anyone else.

YEAH the coming out scene was really fun and cathartic to write tbh, and actually I wasn't gonna include it in my initial planning but decided I needed to. I had considered the possibility of his family reacting badly (since they do live in a traditionalist group) but in the end like... I don't want to. "Confused but supportive" feels much better narratively and character-wise. You're right about why Asphodelpaw looked guilty too, especially since she's figuring some things out about herself as well. Daffodilpaw is my sweet kitty and she may be a little confused but she got the spirit <3

Tamsin is 15 years old all through season 1, 16 in season two, and 17 in the movie! While most moments with her via future, she ranges from 21-42.

Tamsin is super laid back and kinda has that Surfer dude attitude some of the older iterations of the guys had, but she's also super outgoing and ready for anything, wether it be a dance party, or a girls day out with April going mall shopping... Or fighting a bunch of Foot Clan soldiers and going on a car chase after Warren and Hypno.

Unlike her poor gal-pal, April, Tamsin has a job! While it's not the greatest, little pay, and maybe a bit rat infested, she's glad she has it. She works at a 60s themes burger joint, you know the kind with roller-skating waiters and waitresses? Yep, that's Tams. Speaking of which, she is very skilled in skating! It's one of the things she uses when keeping up with Badguys or the Turtles.

While Tamsin seems super chill, she does have this... Competitive side...

You see, she's a people pleaser - always has been since it's what she seeks from her mother and father desperately.

Her whole life she'd spend trying to seek the approval and attention of her parents, whether it be learning the piano or joint the swim team- Tamsins grown up involved in MANY things - specifically sports.

Tamsin plays baseball, basketball, tennis, softball, she's still on the swim team, and she does track, karate, and hockey.

Is she good at all of these... Depends. Does she have that scary competitive spirit that somehow makes her survive through all of these?- defitnely yes.

There is one thing that Tamsin finds herself quite good at and definitely has her eyes set out on achieving moreover in life, and that's boxing/the wrestling team.

Tamsin is a grade A rough houser who likes the thrill and easy blowing off steam exercise that is these two sports give her- and she's pretty good at it with her brute force and just ready to throw hands whenever wherever.

So yeah, you can either have a Sweet hearted, completely chilled out Tamsin. Or you can decide to invite her to some late night basketball and get a basketball to the head at least twelve times - whether on accident or on purpose. (Sorry Raph-)

Tamsin's Role In TMNT

Her role in every iteration is the one behind the camera for our one and only April O'Neil. She's her right hand in all the reports and stories April can get her hands on.

I was kinda sad we didn't get to see (or rarely saw if you consider the movie) was Rise April and her classic News Reporter role we mostly got through the iterations, but they also made her a teen still in highschool. And it got my thinking... What's something that can keep people updated or have a good gossip, but anyone of any age can do?

And who better to help the girl out than Tamsin as the video recorder and editor!

While thinking about this too, I also noticed that in highschool, April wasn't exactly 'popular' but she wasn't like- a person people hated or shitted on, she was just kinda there, maybe a bit invisible.

So I feel the same would be for Tamsin, which is why they stick together most of the time, so their channel only had up to 2 subscribers (note, one of those subs is Tam herself)

How she met the guys

So how I feel a Rise episode would play out is Tamsin and April just finished up a little video, April being just a bit down about it, knowing they won't get as much attention on it as she likes. Tamsin tries cheering her up with an idea to go out for a bite and maybe some karaoke or something else fun.

April overall agrees, letting the two set off on a late night adventure.

One thing April kinda forgot was that she's, you know, quite a target for some of the sudden odd dangers of New York given the group of certain friends she hands out with, and it ends up with her, and a very afraid/confused Tamsin getting caught by the Foot Clan.

Of course, after some silly goofy ahh banter, four shadowy figures come to save them. April knows who it is obviously and is very relieved... Tamsin, however...

These are four tall, big, green monsters that just took down an entire freaking army of weird ass cultists, and from where she's looking, attacking her friend (group hug)

So against better judgment, a good five minutes are spent of April trying to pry a metal pipe out of Tamsins' hands as she tries to attack Leo.

A moment it's taken to explain and introduce everyone, and Tamsin is slightly put to ease, willing to give these four supposed turtles benefit of the doubt.

And hopefully to the end of the episode, April is talking to Donnie, he's explaining how he found quite inconvenient that she and her little friend were in peril just as he was in the middle kf watching their latest YouTube video.

bono absolutely is the type of person to go welcome the new guy in the house next door by baking him something and taking it over. he makes it vegan and gluten free anyway bc he doesn't know this dude's allergies. it ends up not mattering because the second the neighbor opens the door, bono is bowled over by a very enthusiastic dog and ends up dropping the food

lewis will not stop apologizing, not until bono has to shush him and say it's ok, he'll just make more and send those over if that's ok? and lewis is like, yes of course that's ok, i am never going to say no to cookies.

it becomes a Thing. every time bono makes baked goods he takes them over, under the guise of checking in to see how lewis is settling in. he tells lewis all about the neighborhood, and he turns out to be a terrible gossip — knows everything about everyone and tells lewis in the funniest ways possible just to make him laugh

lewis owns an insane amount of stepladders. bono thought its some weird shit at first until he realizes lewis just needs them to get places when he's doing household repairs. he volunteers after roscoe nearly knocks a ladder over and lewis ends up hurt, and now lewis is calling him over for the tiniest of things and lewis's terrible friend (seb)(he visits a lot) is making porn intro jokes until lewis threatens to murder him

one day lewis shows up asking to borrow a WHOLE LOT of ingredients from bono, "i'm trying something new but i can't go to the store because i can't leave roscoe alone, and doordash doesn't understand my new address" he rambles, but bono is endeared as hell by the spot of flour on lewis's cheek so he gives him whatever he wants anyway. TURNS OUT lewis made an entire fancy dinner from scratch and bono feels jealous of whoever it's for for exactly one (1) second until lewis is like "well i was hoping you could join me?"

bono says yes so quickly it's hilarious
