✩🏴☠️💐Review:
Adams proves that guys with tattoos named Will make the best heroes!
“Practice Makes Perfect” alternates between Annie Walker and Will Griffin’s points-of-view. At first glance, Annie is a kind and sweet woman who lives a happy and quiet life in the close knit town of Rome, Kentucky where she opened the flower shop her mother had always dreamed. Deep down, however, Adams reveals that Annie’s life isn’t as perfect as it seems. She feels as though something is missing and with the help of her future sister-in-law’s bodyguard and dating tutor Will Griffin, she learns that it is not a perfect someone, but actually her sense of self.
Through her actions and mannerisms, the reader discovers that ever since the death of her parents, Annie has been willing to prioritize the needs of her siblings over herself. As a result, she feels pressure to maintain the goody two-shoes, angelic persona thrust upon her, adding depth to her character.
Luckily, Will gives Annie the space to be her unapologetic self on their practice dates. What starts out as an arrangement to help Annie alleviate her social anxiety while she is looking for her dream guy quickly turns into something real and mutually beneficial.
Like Annie, Will put his needs in the backseat to provide his brother with stability growing up in a household that was anything but stable. He initially swears off love and shies away from establishing connections, romantic or otherwise, with people, but Annie manages to break through his walls. She is the first to fully know him like he is the first to fully know her.
I loved watching Will and Annie come that realization and slowly give into their feelings. Their development from strangers to friends to lovers is beautifully written and enjoyable to read!

Story: 5 out of 5
Smut: 0.5 out of 5
Even though I completely missed out on book one, I LOVE book two. They did a good job of explaining the couple from book one, so I’m gonna have to pick that up soon.
But Practice Makes Perfect… oh my goodness! I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time I read about this couple. I don’t think I’ve ever related more to a character than I did to Annie. And Will… oh so swoon-worthy.
I can’t go into too much detail about what I liked without spoiling it, so you just need to read it for yourself. It’s cute and funny and if you love sweet romance, then you won’t want to put this book down. But heads up for smut readers… there is zero smut in here. There are steamy make out scenes and words confirming they take the next step in their relationship, but no smut. And even though I’m very much Team Smut, I still loved this book very much without it.
Now here are my rambling thoughts...
* Whoops. This is book two in a series?
* Finally a character I can relate to: shy, quiet, rather read than interact with people, and has social anxiety.
* Oh god. This first date is so awkward 😂
* Oh okay. So Annie has a crush on her soon to be sister-in-law’s body guard. That’s what I missed in book one. Good to know.
* Oh no. She’s on a date from Hell only for her crush to walk in with a gorgeous brunette. Yikes.
* Awww. Will swooped in and made Annie’s terrible date pay for her part of the bill.
* Lmao. She’s so awkward around men. I love her.
* Oh my. Will is attracted to Annie?! And he just called his date “Annie” twice now. Yeah, he’s totally not getting laid.
* Okay, so Will doesn’t believe in love. And after reading about his upbringing, that’s understandable. But damn, that talk with his brother was kind of harsh. He doesn’t have to be happy, but he didn’t have to say what he did.
* Oh damn. Amelia (soon to be sister-in-law) is planning on helping Annie? Enter Will. lol.
* Oh my god, they’re so cute together. And now I’m gonna have to sit through this whole book hoping they’ll realize it sooner rather than later.
* Lmao. He said no to being the dating coach, got super jealous about James (a town local who grew up with Annie and her siblings) and suddenly changed his mind? I love it.
* These two grocery shopping and dropping items into each other’s baskets has me giddy as fuck. And he read the dirty book!! Lmao.
* Lmfao. He tossed condoms into her basket and she didn’t realize it until she was at checkout 😂😂
* Woo. If Will had me pushed up against the door and hands pinned above my head as a dating LESSON, I’d put a stop to those lessons because hot damn 🥵
* Pickle pictures 😂 Yeah, Annie, I don’t like pickle pictures either lmao.
* How the fuck did Mabel know he snuck Annie into his room..?
* Oh damn. They changed up the rules of their agreement and THAT KISS 😮
* She got a tattoo! I’m so happy 😭 and Will… you’re gonna blur the lines!
* Oh my… she’s straddling him in bed after wrestling her book back from him because he was reading the beginning of a spicy scene 😏
* Jesus… that scene on her bed 🥵
* The whole fucking town knows Will slept over at Annie’s 😂 and they started a petition to keep them apart 🤦🏻♀️
* Uh oh. Enter new romantic interest..?
* Oh my god. They kissed in front of everyone! And Will thought it was to make someone jealous. I wanna throttle him.
* She’s sick and he’s nurturing her back to health… and she has a date with someone that’s not him the next day! My heart already hurts.
* Tweedle Nosy and Tweedle Mustache! I can’t believe Amelia and Will are snooping on her date 😂
* Oh wow. That date was a no-go from the start, but at least they realized it and were cool about it. Will is giving me whiplash tho!
* HE LOVES HER! And he confessed to his brother after apologizing for ghosting him lol.
* He made sweet, sweet love to her. Please just get together.
* He didn’t leave after all!! And now he’s role playing a pirate? 😂
* “Annabell, I need you to know, I’ve fallen madly in love with you.” // “But you don’t believe in love.” // “It was easier to say I don’t believe in love, rather than admitting to myself that I was afraid I wouldn’t be loved back.”
* He proposed! And she said no lmao. They’re so fucking cute together. Oh my god.

ex-husband price still swings by when your kids and your new boyfriend are out, by the way, to fuck you. he says it's all a quick check and that there's no feelings attached to this, but when he's got you in a mating press or a full nelson, punching his cock in-and-out of your gushing and squelching cunt, he makes you say you love him. when your mind is fried with straining pleasure, and your eyes are crossed, he noses along your ear and murmurs, "look how much more honest y'r poor cunt is. s'all puffy and squirtin'. missed me lots, don't it?"
he slaps your clit, heavy palm striking in quick successions. you howl, pleasure and biting pain razing you, and all john does is muffle his chuckles on your shoulder, his eyes crinkled in his delight.
(and if he timed it well, your boyfriend should be home soon.)
