Randomly recommended podcasts!
I love podcasts, but I don't get to listen to them as frequently as I wish.
There are some really amazing ones out there I learn so much from, and others are very entertaining. I thought I'd share some of my favorites with y'all. Not all of these are current shows. In fact, some haven't added a new episode in over a year. But I myself may have only just recently discovered the show and therefore it's new to me.
I'll break this up into different parts due to Tumblr's photo limitations. I have no idea if these podcasts are available everywhere, but I subscribe to them via Google Podcasts.

One of the radio stations has conducted a public vote to find the top 100 favourite scores from films, tv, and video games and this weekend they’re playing the results. (Selected pieces not full scores 😓 - curse the constraints of time and reality).
Nothing in my life has prepared me for the utter euphoria of hearing The Chronicles of Narnia over the radio. I was in my car outside IKEA bouncing like a child and fist pumping. 🤣
Why don’t radio stations do this more often??? I’m so happy right now!!
Highlights so far have been - Inception, the Princess Bride, Up, Pride and Prejudice, Mission Impossible, the Hobbit, Dunkirk, and Bluey!

Sonic Journey ABC Radio - Obscure 1920s-50s Women Jazz Singers
Sonic Journey ABC Radio – Obscure 1920s-50s Women Jazz Singers
Sonic Journey with Simon Marnie, ABC Radio Sydney, Staurday 3 September, has myself chatting to Simon about obscure women swing and jazz singers who broadcast live on 1920s-50s radio. In between, you’ll hear their songs from those live vintage radio shows. That’s happening 11am – 12 noon, Saturday 3 September, on ‘Weekend Mornings’ over 702 ABC Radio Sydney. Sonic Journey is a Saturday morning…

This is from a radio times article (source) and I know there’s like a 99% chance that it’s just someone who’s never seen 9-1-1 misunderstanding the show. But what if the Tommy in this article was supposed to be Eddie and instead of getting the wrong details they got the right details from the wrong press release. Maybe this was meant to be part of a later article…

The Green Hornet (Van Williams) and Kate (Bruce Lee) cameo early in the second season of the Batman TV show. This was a way to promote The Green Hornet TV show, which had recently premiered.
A few months later the two duos would have a two-part team-up on Batman (A Piece of the Action and Batman's Satisfaction).
