Abominated - Traumatic Putrefaction

New Death Metal album from Poland that absolutely fucks. I’ve been seeing a lot of people calling this melodic death metal, and I sort of see where they’re on in from but if you ask me this feels primarily like OSDM with some melodic and progressive influences. Either way, the guitars are produced and mixed soooo well imo, and the overall performance / composition has plenty of hooks and flourishes that will help your ears to keep paying attention and tuning back in. The vocal performance is good, but I could use some more diversity in technique to really flesh out the album as a whole. Definitely worth a listen! I can see Abominated putting out some great records soon!
