*JWCT SPOILERS* very messy first thoughts
OH BOY here we go
-ben and darius's dynamic was epic. the hug. the roadtrip scenes. "is your friend okay?" "no 😊". ben getting darius out of his isolation cabin and darius grounding him in ep2. the parallels with s3ep7. "you kiss your mother with that mouth?" i'm gonna be thinking about that scene for days. their ship is still a swim to me but please they better keep whatever the fuck they have going on in s2 because it's fucking wonderful
-i love that they took the chance to give more light to duos we didn't see much in jwcc. teamups we didn't often see like ben and sammy, THE B-DUO, and darius and sammy got very special moments here
-the amount of pictures/videos from the six years in between??? the brooklynn flashbacks??? we were so well fed
-BRAND!!!!!! i got so happy when i heard him the first episode, he's clearly been checking on his brother and i'm glad he's ok
-bowman family FEAST. brand and darius talking over the phone. the pictures on the cabin. kenji saying he calls mrs. bowman once a week and all the nice things he said about her. the whole mess between kenji and darius. "we're brothers, right?" i died dead. i love this family your honor
-sammy. she's got so much going on and we desperately need to talk about it. i'm so worried about her, she's desperately trying to avoid confronting what happened with brooklynn, with yaz and her own trauma, and then they casually dropped on us that her family isn't speaking to her and never elaborated on that?? sammy, who's love and care for her family was her biggest motivation in jwcc?? i need to know what happened because it must've been big
-mateo!! i liked him a lot, he definitely doesn't want to get into any of this mess but still dabbles around a bit to help the kids, which i respect. also i hope we get to meet his daughter hiraya, she sounds really cool
-MS MICROBANGS (or the handler, or whatever name we're calling her). what is her deal. who is she working for. she's so uncanny, literally almost robotic i need to know more about her
-brookenji over i cheered. don't take this personally i've never been a fan of this ship and a part of me knew they weren't going to last long
-the animation increased in quality so much. the scene after ben, yaz and sammy get out of the sinking van is so well done it's so pretty to look at. and the t-rex with the explosion behind her? it reminds me so much of toro in the tunnels in s1ep8, and i haven't tested this out but i feel like if you put them one next to the other the improvement would be so noticeable.
-also related to the point above: that thing when a character's eyes start filling up with tears but they don't cry just yet? 10/10. chef's fucking kiss
-sure jwct has the same tv-y7 rating as jwcc, but from minute 1 it's obvious it's not the same audience they're talking to. it's not a big change in tone, like for example adventure time/distant lands/fionna and cake, but it's there, you can tell they know it's not little kids watching anymore
-BUMPY IS HAVING A BABY BUMPY IS A MOM NOW they had me shit scared for her and then they pulled a freaking egg my heart was literally pounding. anyways i hope they get both bumpy and the egg somewhere safe and that they name the new anky "speckles" (i've gotten so attached to that name in the last 24 hours it's insane)
-YASAMMY THE QUEENS THAT YOU ARE. their relationship was stellar this season, i was scared when i saw that they were apart but their issues felt organic to their relationship and i just love how they were written in the show, they are still so in love with each other and i can't wait to see where they go next season. they're everything to me
-yeah they were apart for half the season but. benji crumbs. the egg cradle scene. kenji helping ben after he got hit with the stun gun. basically all they did was act like they knew each other but idc. we are so back.
-the brooklynn reveal was... meh?? it could've been more rewarding if they waited until s2 to reveal she's still alive, but at least i hope they take their time before reuniting her with the rest of the camp fam. also i can't believe ppl even guessed what arm she was going to lose y'all have prophetic powers or smth
-bringing daniel back to kill him the same episode was an insane move btw. i would've normally complained but it's all worth it for causing the panic attack scene in ep7. kenji's reaction felt so genuine, i'm forever in awe at how well this show writes grief and trauma
-i'm so conflicted about darius's confession. i like dinostar, but i feel like it wasn't needed for darius to be in love with brooklynn to explain the voicemails and the way he was dealing with her death. she was one of his closest friends, his grief made sense even with them being platonic. on the other hand, i love how he admitted it to kenji and the fact they didn't turn it into a huge fight between them; also, "i didn't know i could even feel that way" aroace/acespec darius truthers never lose
-maybe it's just that i need to rewatch, but i'm lost as to where they're going next season?? i know they're getting on a boat but where does that go?? what are they trying to do?? there's so much happening my head is spinning
-ben... he kind of felt like the comic relief for most of the show, the first episodes showed him as being really paranoid again and struggling with being alone, but halfway through the season they just sort of forgot about it?? idk something was off
-bring back kenji's old latin spanish va idk who this guy is but that is not kenji i can't do this. i'll survive the loss of ryan potter but i won't survive this
anyways yeah i think those are most of my uncooked thoughts, overall i really liked the season, i can't believe we got to see the kids again this is still so unreal to me

Clones as expectant fathers
I am an actual nero-cancer researcher. I have a job and a degree. And my ADHD brain saw sad military men and went “I want that one”

CW: pregnancy, the clones all have a ‘secret’ SO, They are expecting a baby, A little angsty with Fox, there's slight mentions of smut with Fives (if you squint), swearing, this is just supposed to be a good time, its not reader insert

Rex
Terrified. Also overjoyed. But mostly terrified.
He’s a soldier. Captain of the 501st, the most….adventurous of the GAR. His chances of dying on the battlefield and leaving his SO behind are higher than the average clone
And now he may leave behind his child? His kid may grow up without a father
He gets nervous. Anxious and antsy, and it's very VERY easy for Anakin to figure out Rex isn’t entire OK
Rex doesn’t even need to tell Anakin.
Skywalker takes one look at him and just KNOWS.
“Congrats, Rex.” “...on what, sir?” “If it's a boy, name him after me.” “WHAT!?”
Ahsoka needs to be told and she’s more excited than Rex when she finds out.
“Come on Rex! Name them after me! The republic needs an Ahsoka jr!” “And if the baby is a boy?” “Don’t name them after skyguy, please!”
Most of the 501st don't know. Too many people knowing raises the chance of less accepting individuals knowing. And if that happens, Rex, his SO and his baby may be in danger.
It’s forbidden for the clones to have SO’s, not to mention babies. It could end with Rex being decommissioned or reconditioned if it was found out he had both
Rex will visit and help as much as he can every chance he gets. He feels terrible for leaving his SO for long stretches of time during the pregnancy.
He WANTS to be there…he just can’t. Not while the war was going on
Despite his terror, Rex is…overjoyed
He didn’t think children were possible for him. He knew it could happen, but he didn’t think HE would ever know this happiness
The first time he feels his baby move in his SO, he’d get this sweetest smile on his face. He’ll kiss the baby bump and just murmur words of love in mando’a
He falls head-over-heels in love all over again
As the due date approaches, Anakin asks an important question
“Captain, I need to know when your baby might be born.” “...why, sir?” “Because I need to know when to take extended leave.”
Anakin tells Padme, and she is beyond sweet. Even visits Rex’s SO and the two have a wonderful friendship
All in all, Rex is both excited and anxious. But having so much support from Anakin, Ahsoka and Padme (and his other brothers who find out much later) helps him a lot
Wolffe
More relaxed. And by relaxed I mean he hides his anxiety better. And it doesn’t exactly hit him as hard
Partly because Plo Koon and the entire Wolfpack knows about his relationship already.
So you bet your ass the pack celebrates when Wolffe tells them he's going to be a father
Plo Koon especially is excited
“How wonderful, new life being born during times of war” “I’m not naming my child after you, general Plo.” “Nonsense! The child will be a girl.”
During battle, Wolffe finds himself being protected by his brothers and General a tad more
At first he writes it off as a coincidence, but then Boost lets slip during a battle “You gotta get back to your little one!”
He gives his men a bit of a lecture. He’s not incapable of fighting or defending himself. He thinks the message gets across but Plo chimes in with, “Ah yes, the stern words of a father already!”
Wolffe would probably see his SO more frequently than Rex. Just because Plo would more than likely spend more time on Coruscant.
He’s definitely protective. As in, waking up in the middle of the night to check all the windows, protective. Keeping an arm around his SO, protective. Every symptom or sign of discomfort he calls a medical droid, protective.
He’s not stupid, he is well aware that by having an SO and a child on the way he's in violation of several rules. All of which, when broken, would have him decommissioned
But dammit, he's not letting that happen. Wolffe will be there for his SO and his baby, no matter what
Since he’s able to spend more time with his SO, he’s there to feel the first movements of his baby.
It sort of causes him to short-circuit for a second. It hits him that yes, this is a life that he and his SO both created. Out of love.
Wolffe makes a swear that he’s going to protect his baby at all costs
Grandpa Plo does as well, but the Wolfpack doesn’t know that
Fox (kinda angst)
First of all congratulations to the SO for actually managing to be Fox’s SO
They got to be something special for the head of Palpatine’s personal guard to break rules and regulations and find himself an SO
Speaking of Palpatine, congratulations to Fox! Your SO is now in even more danger!
No, seriously. Palpatine knows before Fox. No one knows how, but he knows.
And he absolutely will use Fox’s SO as leverage to keep him under control
And Fox knows this, so he behaves. More so than usual.
He’s not blind. Hes fiercely loyal to the republic, but one step out of line and the (very few) things he cares about will be killed
Which…is why Fox may come across as cold or uninterested when his SO informs him of their pregnancy
A part of him is terrified, he just won’t show it
He’s not going to be more affectionate or anything. He actually acts pretty normal. Which is standoffish.
Despite his…demeanor, he actually manages to be present for the entirety of the pregnancy. It helps being a Coruscant guard, which means he’s more present than all the other clones.
He’s not moving mountains or anything, but he’ll get snacks in the middle of the night in case of cravings
No one else knows about Fox and his SO. not even his own men. He refuses to tell anyone.
Its for his SO’s protection
But Palpatine, the sick fuck, slips some words to get Fox’s nerves into overdrive
“This war is taking such a toll. So many dead children…so many grief stricken parents” “Sir?” “Oh nothing. Just stating the fact that the loss of an innocent life, such as…a baby, is always a tragedy. Wouldn’t you agree, commander?”
He found himself walking home a bit faster that day and hugs his SO a little tighter that night
Fox cares, in his own way. He’s just beyond stressed and anxious. But you wouldn’t know. He hides it behind a mask.
It's actually Padme that finds out. And she feels somewhat bad for Fox. She thinks his anxiety comes from the fact that clones aren't allowed SO’s or children
Which, it is, but theres the added threat of fucking Palpatine.
She ends up getting him to tell her the truth and she swears to secrecy. Even offers to hire his SO as some sort of assistant, if only so Fox can be closer to his SO
Hear me out, he actually breaks down when he feels the baby move. He can’t fully handle it anymore and shuts down.
This is a baby. His baby. They're alive and already so loved.
Something in him clicks and he accepts Padme’s help.
His terror gets easier, ever so slightly. But he keeps his collected and calm front.
Cody
“General Kenobi-” “Ah! Commander Cody! Congratulations!”

Cody is a tad more relaxed than Rex, but more tense than Wolffe
He knows Kenobi isn’t going to punish him or force him back to Kamino for decommissioning, he’s still a little on guard.
But, since Kenobi knows, Anakin does. So does Ahsoka. Which means Rex knows.

More people in the 501st know than in the 212th which gives him the biggest headache
Waxer knows though. Cody had to tell someone that wasn’t a sarcastic general
He does a good job hiding his worry though
Cody is able to spend about the same amount of time as Rex with his SO
He doesn’t feel as bad as Rex when it comes to the lack of presence he has during the pregnancy
It's war. It sucks and he’d prefer to be there for his SO, but he’d also prefer SO and child have freedom from the separatists
I will say, he is pretty attentive when he isn’t off in space.
Foot rubs, shoulders massages, helping with cravings
One thing Cody does is that he’ll wrap his arms under his SO’s baby bump and lift it slightly, giving his SO’s back some relief
He really loves to do this because his SO just melts
Hear me out, Cody gets giggly when he feels the baby move/kick the first time
His palm is on the bump and he feels that first little flutter against his hand
404 Commander Cody has his amygdala broken from joy. Reboot?
He’ll actually tell Kenobi about it because he’s so happy.

There is a solid 3 hours until everyone in the 501st knows
He’s told Echo before the first hour. Rex knew within 2 hours.
Fives is BEYOND over the moon
He gets this small smile on his face that just doesn’t go away
Whenever he’s not with his SO, he definitely calls them every day. He wants updates on the little one
Also, seeing his SO with a baby bump? Unlocks something inside his brain.
Fives is incredibly horny when he’s with his SO. He’ll be rubbing their middle and getting a puppy dog look in his eye.
Only if his SO is in the mood of course! He’d never try and be forceful
He’s probably the clone that takes the distance the hardest. He debates taking a ship and making a run for Coruscant on more than one occasion.
In the end he settles to ask Anakin for extended leave.
Anakin is also extremely happy for Fives. Like with Rex, he makes a “name the baby after me” joke
Fives brings that up to his SO and nearly gets smacked. He also makes a “Fives jr.” joke and actually does get smacked.
When Fives feels the baby kick, he gets high on happiness. Actual mumbling incoherent words of love and affection in Mando’a
Lots and lots of “Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum”
He also gets very VERY affectionate with his SO
Kisses his SO’s face a lot. Even as a greeting, he’ll just start peppering their cheeks with pecks
Also probably the only one ballsy enough to ASK his general for extended leave
“Excuse me, general Skywalker? I’ll need to take leave at this date.” “Oh, yea sure. You know what? That seems like a good time for all the men to take a break. Thanks, Fives.”
He’s also probably the only one ballsy enough to actually take his new born baby onto a fucking battleship to introduce everyone.
“This is your uncle Rex. This is your uncle Echo and your uncle Tup. That's your auntie Ahsoka!” “Fives what the FUCK are you doing?!” “Introducing the family, captain.”

You heard Kane chuckle as you walked into the lounge where Kane was sitting on the ground with your youngest boys. Shoyo, watched with bright green eyes, his little six year old imagination running wild, while Koda sat on Kane's lap trying to see something that was in Kane's lap.
"Okay, okay." He laughed. Kane smiled, a gentle one that he started to show more and more as he lived with you. You saw him open his hands, soft in their design. And after a second, tiny little pops and fireworks went off in his hand.
Koda let out loud giggle at the sparks as he looked at Kane's hand. Shoyo leaned forward, watching the sparks fly just in the palm of his hands, soft orange little explosions that made Kane's hand warm.
Shoyo let out a coo. "That's so cool!"
"Boom!" Koda made a gesture with his hands like Kane with his sparks. He tried imitating the small little explosion sound.
Kane likes to help you with the little ones a lot. They were too precious for words and maybe in some way shape or form, Kane saw it as healing the little boy in him too. He especially liked Koda. Koda liked warm things, he hated being cold, and Kane was now the next warmest thing in the house other than you and Izuku.
So it wouldn't be strange to see Kane holding Koda as he walked around the house doing whatever he needed to do. Considering Kane was not much of the type of kid to always want to leave the house, he could spend a lot of time with Koda who was always at home.
Kane even learnt from you and Izuku how to help give Koda his medication. Kane felt it unfair that someone so small, only four years old, needed to take dozens of them to keep his immune system up and to help hopefully one day get him a transplant. Until then, Koda had a whole lot of things to take and only could tolerate so many at once.
Often than not when you would try finding Koda in his room to give him medications you'd see him playing a soft music from his phone that Koda seemed to like by the way he would move his head side to side.
"Was mommy teaching you dinosaurs?" Kane asked as he took the syringe and took a measure out of the glass bottle. He lifted up the injection, tapping the body of the syringe, making sure there was no bubbles.
Koda nodded his head excitedly with a smile. "She said that they lived many years ago! Before chickens!"
"Wow! Really?" Kane asked as he walked over to Koda's bed. He moved over to the IV next to his bed that had stickers on it. He stuck the needle into the bag, pushing in the medication.
Koda nodded his head as he kicked his little legs. The IV going into his little arm as he sat in his bed. " Yah! And there was this big one with small arms."
Kane hummed as he took back the needle and moved back to the counter on the otherside of the room, moving to sort through medications. He put down the syringe with a needle, moving to put it into the yellow bin on the wall that would have it sterilised. He got out a plastic kids syringe and took out the edible medication. "Did mommy call it a T-Rex?" He asked softly.
Koda's eyes widened. "Yah! You so smart big brother!" He exclaimed making Kane chuckle as he took out some purple medication into the kids syringe and walked over to Koda, crouching down. "How did it got so big?" Koda asked with a small thumb to his chin.
Kane smiled over at him, crimson eyes soft and gentle. "They took all their medications so that they could be the biggest and strongest dinosaurs." He encouraged, handing over the syringe to Koda.
Koda hummed as he looked down at it. He put it to his mouth and pushed at the back of it. He let go of the syringe making his face scrunch up in disgust. Kane motioned for him to swallow. Koda seemed hesitant but did it. He stuck out his tongue in disgust, making Kane do the same thing. Koda giggled.
A lot of the time whenever you had guests over at your house, you were very strict when it came to who making sure they abided by the health rules of your home by washing hands and being clean and no one could be over if they were sick. And if one of you were sick, it meant strict room arrest.
You just never wanted to infect Koda. However, for precautionary measures, Koda stayed in his room regardless when there were guests over unless it was a big event and even there, you were all careful with him. However, Kane would often disappear to Koda's room to spend time with the little four year old who was often napping anyways and if not was with Shoyo.
Kane wasn't just Kane. He was big brother Kane now, and he took his job, very seriously.

HELP HAHAHAKHVFAHSF THIS IS A LOVELY PROMPT, THANK U FOR THIS!!!
those who yell "THERES A BUG": marius and mc
now im not saying both of them are particularly squeamish, no no, they can definitely keep it cool when the situation Calls For It. that being said, seeing a bug in the nxx meeting room on a slow day isnt exactly the most high stakes of situations, so the most High Stakes Element remains to be whatever bug they see
mc just doesnt like bugs, theyre creepy theyre crawly and she doesnt trust anything that can dart out of her line of vision in the blink of an eye
marius also doesnt like bugs and because of his upbringing, he did not get to see very many of them growing up. which means every time he Did see a Bug Intruder, it's like a Category 5 Drama Moment
the moment they see the bug, theyre announcing it LOUDLY to everybody else in the room while also getting up to stand on some chairs
those who dont yell "THERES A BUG" but does look at the bug and track its every movement while sitting still like a statue hoping the bug doesnt notice him, as if bugs operate on some kind of t-rex knowledge: artem
let's rewind a bit. before marius and mc saw the bug, artem saw it first. and he just
didnt say anything about it
artem.....Also Does Not Like Bugs. but he also also doesnt like being loud about things he doesnt like so he just Sits There, so still you'd think he fucking died, and he hopes the bug mistakes him for some kind of inanimate man-shaped furniture and avoids him due to sheer disinterest
it doesnt avoid him.
it probably crawls or flies very close to him a few times the only thing that stops him from screaming "THERES A BUG" is his self-control thats as hard as cast-iron skillet
it's fine though because marius and mc spot it and sound the alarm

those who remove the bug: luke and vyn
luke and vyn are the ones who will both 1) be completely unbothered by the bug and 2) have to bring it out
the reason for luke is obvious, he's had wilderness survival training and probably had to eat bugs like in an episode of Man VS Wild to survive on an uninhabited island, so hes REALLY past any squeamishness with bugs. in fact, if mc said the word, luke would grab the bug and crush it with his bare hands
and vyn is a gardener!!! bugs are APLENTY in the garden, so he sees them not as malevolent but as important creatures in a healthy ecosystem. the bug probably got in from vyn's garden, actually, since nxx hq is on his property

Or your own little game
Oscar is there to catch you if your balance is off
He will also join in on the game sometimes if you let him
He makes sure to stay close if you ever have to stand for long periods of time

He laughed
He couldn’t help because it was funny and adorable
He couldn’t help it
If you ever feel stuck in that position then he’ll be there to help
Whether is be food or the tv remote he never fails to make you comfortable
Will remind you to stretch your arms if you stay in that position
Would hate to see you get a cramp
The head to flat surface
Thought you were annoyed at first
Then you avidly explained that the table feels nice on your head
It became almost routine that you would send your forehead at a flat surface you hadn’t tried yet
Walls, floors, anything that looks smooth or cold or soft
He’d remind you not to do it to hard
Head wounds bleed particularly hard
Feel like he can feel it himself when you describe in great detail how it feels against your forehead and face

This is based on a TikTok I saw today but I’m also a big Rex simp and kept getting Rex like nonstop when I did the filter so- here we go.

Captain Rex x F!Reader

You were working a long shift at 79’s since someone decided to quit making things short staffed. The bar was packed to the brim with Troopers who were coming back from their missions but there was one face you haven’t seen in a while.
Him.
Mr. Captain Rex
You had your back turned as you were mixing drinks for customers as your two other co-workers took order.
“When did half cut shirts become the uniform?”
That voice…you knew it anywhere. Your eyes went big as you turned around and there he was. He was a little cut up but his ruggedness stood out. You couldn’t contain your smile as you walked closer towards him. The bar counter was the only thing separating you both.
You were wearing a shirt black half cut top that showed a bit of your belly— with some black pants hugging every curve you had.
“Hmm, when did you leave?” You asked playfully with a grin looking at him.
Rex gave a sly grin as he looked at you, while he leaning a bit against the counter. His voice was confident yet so genuine when he spoke to you, “About two months ago—I mean I’m not complaining but you’re definitely giving the shines out here heart attacks.”
You were almost thanking the fact that your manager wanted the lights in the building to be different colors- you felt your cheeks grow warm as you chuckled looking away for a moment. As you opened your mouth your manager came around the corner looking at you.
“Hey I need you to clock out now- I can’t afford to keep you longer for your shift so go on.” Your manager spoke in a hurry before leaving not wanting to hear a single peep.
“Seems like I must’ve came at a good time then.” Rex spoke as you began to smile and chuckle nodding slowly. “Well I have been here for almost…19 hours now.”
You walked around the corner coming closer to Rex.
“Well, since you’re off- let me buy you a drink and you can come sit with the boys and me.” Rex spoke as he looked at you in the eyes giving a small smile.
You could never reject an offer from Rex, especially when you secretly missed him being around in the first place. You nodded as you followed him to their usual spot in the bar to sit down. As you sat down sliding into the booth greeting the boys of the 501st.
You sat in between Fives and Rex.
The night went on with laughing, them telling stories from the events they had to go through on this past mission, teasing jokes, and drinking. You’ve always enjoyed their presence and how they almost treated you like someone important to them.
As you all decided to drink more and more the alcohol was definitely going to give you a hangover. The boys either went to the dance floor, left with some girls, or tried to retreat to go back to their dorms. Leaving you and Rex together alone at the table still talking.
You were practically buzzed— you knew how to hold your alcohol but it didn’t mean you were mentally there for some things you would say.
As you were still sitting beside Rex talking your pretty little lips off- you suddenly touched his soft cheek looking into his tired eyes that rested on your face purely.
“Oh~ Rex.” You spoke softly with a drunk little smile.
Rex hummed amused looking at you in the eyes, his body was turned to you looking down to you.
“I’ll never understand why you aren’t with someone already- I get that it’s forbidden but I mean after the war wouldn’t you want a family?” You spoke slurring a bit with a sort of cuteness to your tone.
Rex’s smirk was gentle as he pushed some hair behind your ear. “I never thought about it- but why would I need a family when I have my brothers-”
You cut him off placing a hand on his chest plate looking at him, “No-no-no- Rex- I understand your love for your brothers but don’t you want kids- a wife- a family?”
Rex scanned your face for a second, you could almost swear he wasn’t drunk as if he was giving real thought behind him, suddenly his voice was gentle and almost quiet like the topic was forbidden- “Let’s make a pack…when I’m 40 and we’re still single…when the war is over- let’s get married. We can love each other…have kids…get family land…get a pet.” His voice was becoming slow.
Rex sounded genuine as you looked up to him in the eyes- you were becoming sober from the things he said. He grasped your hand that was resting on his chest plate.
“You’re only say-“ you were cut off once more as he rubbed his thumb onto your knuckles.
“No…I mean it. Let’s get married…I’ll love you.”
Your eyes scanned his eyes to find any truth behind them.
“When this war ends…when we are in our 40’s… if we are both single- I know I’ll be—let’s get married.” His voice lingered to your ear in a breathy whisper.
You sat there falling apart under his presence but as he straightened his posture and stood up looking at you with a sly grin once more.
“I’ll more than willing to play the long way for you…”

BB Season 3 Title Speculations
Just my theories as to what could happen based on the episode names.
"Confined"- This will be strongly Omega and Crosshair centric. I think a lot of clips, including the ones from the trailer where they see each other and the leaked clip, will take place in this episode. It's clear that Crosshair is at his all time lowest so it can only go up from here. We probably will see a glimpse of Hunter and Wrecker, but the name suggests a strong focus on Omega and Cross. This is pre-time jump btw based on Omega's hair. We might also get that Palpatine scene of him saying how important Hemlock's work is as well.
"Paths Unknown"- this gives me strong Hunter and Wrecker vibes. I think it's safe to say that this episode will focus on what the two have been up to since Omega's capture and Tech's "death." Hopefully, we'll see a bit of Rex and Echo as well. However, I feel like this will be more of the boys trying to pick themselves up and find out any info on Omega. We might also see the scenes of them talking to Rex.
"Shadows of Tantiss"- again, this sounds very Omega and Crosshair centric. The use of the word shadows indicate dark times for the pair as Hemlock's control tightens and Cross presumably retreats even further within himself. Maybe this is the episode where we get the time jump since the word "shadows" could mean that time has passed since we last saw the pair.
"A Different Approach"- This could mean two things: either Cross and Omega try a new way to escape or Hunter turns to bounty hunters to help. In the trailer, Fennec is visible with Hunter and Wrecker when they take that boat in the swamp.
"The Return"- this episode name could have a double meaning like the last one. The most obvious one is that it's the return of Crosshair. We know that he and Omega potentially escape and crash land in a ship. I have a theory that they'll both make it out, however, Omega gets captured again, sacrificing her freedom for Crosshair's. Another meaning could be the return of Ventress. It makes sense since she's a pretty big character within the animated shows. I think that we'll meet her on Teth. However, I'm unsure.
"Infiltration" and "The Extraction"- these two episodes seem to go hand in hand. I'm not sure what could happen based on the trailers. Maybe the Batch has to go somewhere to retrieve information or an item for a mission. Maybe that turbo tank chase is during these episodes because Phee comments "not exactly a stealth exit boys." However, I think that could actually be the episode "Juggernaut." Since this is a two-parter, I speculate that we might also see bounty hunters after the Batch.
"Bad Territory"- this episode feels more mission-y based because of the name. It sounds like the Batch are going to a planet where hijinks ensue and they wind up in trouble. It could also mean the return of bounty hunters like Cad Bane or clone assassins but who knows.
"The Harbinger"- now this is where things get interesting. At its most basic definition, a harbinger is person or thing that signals the arrival of something, a herald so to speak. I think this is the episode where we see the mysterious imperial take front and center. Maybe he's a harbinger of doom that the Batch have to out maneuver. Or maybe the Batch receive a warning that Omega's life is truly in danger and they need to act fast. It could also be the episode with CX-1. He does warn (the Batch I assume) that they're being hunted.
"Identity Crisis"- my theory for this episode only makes sense if Tech is the one under the mysterious imperial's mask. This episode could very easily apply to Cross and Ventress as well. However, if it's Tech that's under the mask, then it this title makes perfect sense. He's fighting the imperial programming while the others try to bring him back. But Tech's survival is controversial so I can't confidently say that this will happen
"Point of No Return"- this feels like an ultimatum type of episode. The Batch know that what they're going to do will lead to their demise or survival, including Omega's. On the other hand, this could be the episode where Pabu gets invaded. If that happens, then it tells the Batch that there's no turning back for them; they have to save Omega and stop Hemlock or else they will lose more of what they care about. The Empire took enough from them; now, the clones prepare their final stand.
"Juggernaut"- I think this is episode where we get the turbo tank chase. We know that Cross, Hunter, and Wrecker are together again along with Phee. Alternatively, someone suggested that Wrecker dies in a giant explosion based on the name "juggernaut," but I'd rather not think about that.
"Into the Breach"- according to Google, this phrase means that a person steps up to do a task when someone is unable to do it or there's no one else available. This raises questions: who's stepping up? What task is being conducted? I hate to be that guy, but it's possible we might see Echo or someone die. Think about it: one of the Batchers or an ally gets badly hurt trying to do something and someone else steps up. The episode is a big fanfare of things that go boom and epic music as the task is completed but at a grave cost.
"Flash Strike"- this feels very action heavy. There are many clips near the end of the trailer showing the Batch hijacking ships and troopers fighting/being shot at. On google "flash strike" can refer to workers going on strike without notice. This episode is probably where we see the clone rebellion truly begin to act out against the Empire and Tantiss.
"The Cavalry has Arrived"- the grand finale of it all. It's poetic that the final chapter in the story about a group of special clones is titled after their very first line in their very first appearance in Clone Wars. Like the Batch arriving on Anaxes to help the Jedi and Rex, I think this episode will be the full culmination of the clones' stand against the Empire. We will see the Batch reunited and Omega will be saved... but at what cost? If this show parallels the OT (which I think it is), then we probably will get a happy ending. However, I'm leaning more towards it ending with just Crosshair and Omega left.
Anyways, these are just my theories and speculations. Feel free to share any theories about the episode titles down below. And one quick note about the poster: Hunter's helmet kinda mirrors Jesse's in the final episode of Clone Wars. It's probably symbolizing the end of an era for the clones as a whole. Spooky.

Ok, here's the post I promised detailing why I take issue with Ahsoka's decision to send Kanan to find Rex in Rebels.
Disclaimer: This is not me "hating" on Ahsoka, this is just me being critical of a couple of her decisions.
To start off: Ahsoka knows that Kanan is a Republic Era Jedi, and common sense tells us that if someone was a Jedi during that time, they were almost 100% certain to have faced the clones during Order 66. Ahsoka may make stupid decisions sometimes, but she is not stupid. It was not lost on her that Kanan, only old enough to have been a padawan at the time (if she didn't recognize him from around the Temple), probably saw his master get brutally murdered.
Now, she might not know the details like we do, but it's made very clear that Kanan has definitely not healed from Order 66. Grand Inquisitor literally spells it out for us by taunting Kanan about his master's death and talking about Kanan having nightmares because of it, with Kanan being near tears and clearly blaming himself when he says that her last words to him were "run."
It is still very much an open wound for him and Ahsoka knows this, even if she isn't clear on the details.
"How does Ahsoka know this?" You might ask.
"You must trust him." - Ahsoka repeats this phrase over and over to Kanan in the beginning of the episode. She offers no other explanation or information except "hey this droid can track my friend" and "trust my friend." Nothing else.
Why would she say that, unless she knew that Kanan was going to react badly?
Now, even if Kanan was absolutely the only person possible who could've done this mission (which he wasn't), my main issue is that Ahsoka didn't give Kanan the informed choice of whether he wanted to go on the mission or not. She withheld information from Kanan so that he would go on the mission without a fuss, knowing that he would probably change his mind if he knew that her "friends" were clones.
"How would she know that?" - You don't withhold information like that for no good reason. If she didn't think Kanan would put up a fuss, or if she actually cared about giving him a choice on whether or not to face the men that helped murder his family, then she would have given him the full story and not just some vague message of "trust him."
("But Jedi-Enthusiast, the clones didn't want to kill the Jedi, they were forced to!" - Yes, we--as the audience--know that and so does Ahsoka, but Kanan clearly doesn't. It's shown in the episode that he obviously thinks the inhibitor chips were an excuse, but not the actual reason.)
Ahsoka's decision to withhold this information is not just shitty, but it's also really stupid.
What if Kanan's PTSD manifested like Wolffe's did?
Wolffe's first instinct upon seeing a Jedi was to kill first, ask questions later, until Rex managed to ground him.
What if Kanan's first instinct upon seeing clones was the same? Or, better yet, what if he wanted revenge for his master's death and decided to just kill them anyway?
She was lucky that Kanan's first response to seeing clones was shock, fear, anger, defensive position and not shock, fear, anger, violent response to seeing his family's murderers.
Overall, I just think she should've given him all of the information and allowed him to make an informed choice about whether or not to go instead of just letting him blindly walk into a situation that would remind him of his trauma.

Our Own Choices
Chapter 1
When I first opened my eyes, everyone around me looked the same. We were all clones of Jango Fett. But for some reason, everyone avoided me. I didn't know why until I looked into the mirror for the first time.
I never looked like the others. I was a girl. The rest were all guys. I always ate alone in the cafeteria, and sometimes I talked to this clone called 99, who was defective, just like me.
I've seen these clones who don't look like the others before, but I never really got the chance to talk to them, I was mostly put with the regular clones.
The regs said that I was a mistake, that I shouldn't have been created, but I didn't really care much. I was gonna be a soldier and serve the Republic, just like them, right?
A few days ago, I saw 99 on cleaning duty, so I went to help him out a bit.
"Y'know what they do to defective clones like us?" 99 asked. I shook my head, I probably didn't wanna know the answer either way.
"They make us do jobs like this, transporting weapons and stuff, cleaning up after the others."
"Mhm. And soon enough they're gonna make me do that as well, aren't they?" I asked.
"Yep."
I could understand why, though. I was also physically weaker than the other clones, which would be a disadvantage on the battlefield.
If the Kaminoans were gonna make me do that kind of shit for the rest of my life, I was gonna have to make my own path.
Jango and Boba Fett were living on Kamino, and I knew for a fact they had a ship. So when a Jedi ship landed on Kamino, I snuck onto Jango's ship and hid there. Wasn't really hard, cause no one seemed to care about (biologically) 14 year-old me anyways.
Soon enough, the ship took off and we landed on Geonosis after a totally calm ride through an asteroid field.
I mostly stayed in the ship during that time, not wanting to get noticed. It was only when the blaster fire died down that I ran to a hangar, stole a random ship and flew off to a place in the outer rim, where hopefully no one could find me.
I mainly survived on cantina leftovers, and found a knife on the floor which I always kept with me in case I needed to defend myself.
That definitely came in handy when the Separatists took over the planet where I was. I hid in the alleys when battle droids patrolled the streets, and whenever they came into my territory, let's just say they didn't come back out.
I remembered when the clones came to clear this planet of the Separatists, I remembered the blaster fire, and I was covering my ears hiding in an alley, curled up into a ball when battle droids came in.
Instinctively, I reached for my knife and sliced the head off of one battle droid, and the others pointed their blasters at me, about to fire.
I managed to stab another in the head before one of them shot me in the shoulder. It felt like that area where I got shot was being burned, and I winced, holding my shoulder and backing up against a wall, the battle droids still pointing their blasters at me.
Suddenly, the battle droids were shot from behind, and I saw a clone in white and blue armour standing there, pistols raised.
"You alright kid?" he asked.
I nodded, still holding my shoulder.
The clone examined me for a moment. I could feel my heart pounding in my head.
Please don't recognize me as a clone, please don't recognize me as a clone-
"Are you a clone?"
Ah shit.
There was something different about this clone though. I felt like I could trust him, I didn't think he would turn me in to the Kaminoans.
I nodded silently.
"You're a...female clone?" he asked.
I nodded again.
"Cmon. We should get you patched up. That wound on your shoulder looks nasty."
The clone held out his hand, and I hesitantly took it, following him to a republic ship.
"Now just stay here, the medic will come in a while, I'll come back in a while."
I watched as the clone ran off to the battlefield, rubbing my shoulder.
When the medic came, I asked him,"Who's that clone in the white and blue armour?"
"That's Captain Rex," the medic said as he bandaged up my shoulder. "He's a good soldier. Why'd he bring you here?"
"Just lucky, I guess," I replied.
The medic chuckled a bit under his helmet. "Name's Kix, what's yours?"
My voice was quiet. "I...don't have one. Back on Kamino, I was just assigned a number."
"You're a clone?" Kix asked.
"Mhm, female clone, I was never meant to exist but, here I am. And I swear if you bring me back to Kamino I'm gonna make sure you're gonna have an injury that you can't fix." I said, motioning to the knife on my belt.
Kix laughed. "I won't turn you in, we're not snitches."
"Good for you."
A few hours later, Rex and the others returned. The other clones all gave me this "who tf is this dude" look, and Rex motioned for me to follow him, which I did. He led me to a room and sat me down on a bed, and took off his helmet.
"How're you feeling kid?" he asked.
I just nodded as a response.
"Clones your age should be on Kamino, not out here."
"Don't bring me back, I don't wanna be on cleaning duty for the rest of my life," I said quietly.
"Why would they make you do that? You're a clone, just like all of us are. We were bred to be soldiers."
"I'm physically weaker than the others, you could say I'm a defective clone."
"That doesn't make you any less valuable than us." Rex put a hand on my good shoulder.
I shrugged my shoulders. "The Kaminoans gave me basic military training but not much else, I'm quite alright with a knife but I don't mind using a sniper either."
"I could train you myself..."
I immediately jumped up from the bed. "HELL YEA LES GOOOOOO"
"But it's not gonna be easy, and you can't just back out halfway through."
I sat back down on the bed, nodding.
Rex smiled. "Do you have a name?"
I shook my head. "I was only assigned a number on Kamino."
"Well, there was this jedi general who was really good at her melee skills, used swords and everything when she was transported to another realm and found her way back here. Her name's Aris, leader of the 504th Legion and general Skywalker's sister. So let's just call you Aris for now, how does that sound?"
"That sounds like a cool name," I replied, nodding.
"Okay then, Aris. Welcome to the Grand Army of The Republic."

THE BAD BATCH FINALE THOUGHTS
this goes without saying, but this post contains spoilers for the series finale of the bad batch. keep reading at your own risk. also this got so long like i had so many more thoughts than i thought i would.
okay first of all i LOVED the finale. it played out simultaneously exactly how i expected and nothing like i expected at all. my top moments from this episode were definitely the ending and the scenes where they found out omega freed the zillo beast.
okay now for a few rapid fire lists
things i loved:
- the fact they absolutely did not let crosshair sacrifice himself. when i saw the "plan 99" tweet by jennifer corbett, i had a feeling it was going to be something like this and i've never been happier to be proved right
- additionally, "clone force 99 died with tech. we aren't that squad anymore" was an amazing moment. i feel like some people might not like it much but i thought it was so fitting. i have so much to say about it i might make a whole post on it
- THE RETURN OF HUNTER'S ENHANCED SENSES WHEN HE FELT THAT BLASTER BOLT COMING TOWARDS HIM. chat it took us three whole seasons but we finally did it! we saw his enhanced senses!
- the humor was on point, as always
- omega's entire character this episode. like all her tantiss part 2 moments, this episode really showed how much she's learned and grown and the person she's starting to become
- ECHO AND EMERIE!!! they're such a duo and if star wars ever does any projects about the clone rebellion, i want to see more of them
- all the fight scenes were perfect, as always
- the clone prisoners all joining echo and omega to save hunter, wrecker, and crosshair
- going off of that, i loved how the batch got stopped and they faced extremely high stakes and losses. it wasn't easy for them to get in and out. wrecker got severely injured, hunter nearly got crushed, crosshair lost his hand, and they all got captured. their losses stacked up with how insane of a mission they were trying to pull off. i was worried there'd be too many losses or they'd win too easily, but the balance was perfectly struck
- the scene on the bridge with hemlock was AMAZING. no notes. i loved it. hemlock's death was also so violent like i feel like they don't show that much violence usually but they really just showed him getting shot until he fell off that bridge and you know what? it's what he deserved
- THE ENDING. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ENDING OH MY GOD. without getting too sappy, the very last scene reminded me of me and my dad when i left for college for the first time. obviously the context and stakes of omega leaving were VERY different and a lot higher, but just that similiarity made me cry
things i thought were okay:
- nala se's sacrifice. it was kind of meh and didn't really feel impactful to me
- rampart's villain moment was so high drama but again i thought it was okay
- omega sneaking off and trying to leave without saying goodbye felt a little out of character but you know what? that's okay. i think it fits a little with parts of her character that weren't super explored in the show
things i thought needed to be addressed more:
- that insane cx trooper reveal? like hello? those guys were INSANE and i loved how they were purposely designed to all mirror the batch in some way (also fellow "tech is cx-2" truthers we were absolutely incorrect and even if he was cx-2, he's firmly dead now so uh yeah)
- but building off the cx trooper thing, having a cx trooper that mirrored each member of the batch and then revealing them in the last episode was odd to me. it makes me suspect there was supposed to be another season based on this plot line but said season got cut
- the fates of some of the side characters. i was kind of wondering where phee went and what was up with her
things that we all thought were going to be addressed but weren't:
- cx trooper (but specifically cx-2) identities
- where the fuck is cody????
- how the fuck did wolffe join rex???
all in all, a beautiful ending to a beautiful show. to me, the bad batch has always been a father-daughter story at it's core. again, without getting too sappy and personal, star wars for me and so many other people my age has always been something that's introduced to us by someone older who we look up to, and for me that person is my dad. for a franchise i associate so much with my dad and being able to connect with him to tell the story of hunter and omega, a father and his daughter, really means a lot to me. so thank you to the bad batch for telling this amazing story and being the thing that fully launched me back into loving star wars again. thank you for this story about love and family and loyalty and sacrifice and for honoring all the core principles of this story in the finale. i can't wait to see where omega's story goes in the future, and as always, may the force be with you <3

Liam: "Ah, look Harry. I think that's your favorite tart. Why don't we all eat it together?"
Harrison: "Do you seriously think we're on a picnic?"
Liam: "Relax relax...Look *sniffs* doesn't that smell nice...?"
Harrison: "*Sniffs*.....Hm, it does smell nice. Do they have lemon tart?"
Liam: "Haha, you're being cheeky again? Got it. What about you, Will?"
William: "I'll have one. Buy whichever you like....I'll leave it to you."
Liam: "Sure. I'll never disappoint you. And you, Kate?"
Kate: "Me? Hmm, I'll have...whatever William is having."
Liam: "Okay. I'll go buy them. Wait here."
With dancing steps, Liam rushed over to the street seller's wagon and happily ordered a pie.
Harrison: "He wouldn't be able to carry them all...."
Harrison follows close behind with a look of dismay on his face.
(We're supposed to be on our way to our hard mission....but this is?)
Kate: "Our mission is to gather information from the major bank in the city of London....right?"
William: "You're right, clever little robin....Oh, looks like I made a mistake in making you think that the mission is going to be hard from start to finish."
(Not that I wasn't expecting it, but....)
Liam: "Here you guys! Berry pie for Will and Kate."
A sweet-smelling pie was placed in front of me and I accept it, thanking him.
(I've been nervous ever since William told me yesterday that it was going to be hard....)
But the fragrance of the delicious-looking pie brings back forgotten hunger all at once.
Liam: "Kate, if you don't have an appetite, you don't have to eat."
Kate: "Eh?"
Liam: "You didn't eat breakfast or lunch today. I thought maybe you'll at least have one bite of a delicious pie."
Liam: "But I don't want to force you."
(....You were worried about me)
Liam, who charms everyone, also observes his surroundings more closely.
Kate: "Thank you. But as soon as I smelled it, I got hungry. So I'll eat it."
Liam: "Great, thank god!"
(Everyone in the Crown is spoiling me....)
With gratitude, I bit into a small piece of the berry pie. The savory and pungent sweetness filled my mouth.
Liam: "What about it, Will? Did I do great?"
William: "Mmhm. You did great. As expected of you."
I glance to the side and see that William is also enjoying his pie, which is a rare sight to behold.
(So even William eats snacks on the streets with his hands...)
What is this strange feeling I get every time I realize that William is the same person?
William: ".....Hm? What's wrong?"
Kate: "! Oh, nothing!"
(Let's focus on my own pie for now, since Liam went out of his way to buy it for me...)
(So, let's enjoy every bit of it)
One bite, two bite and in no time, the pie disappeared into my stomach. But....
(.....Um)
If anything.....from the morning, my stomach was still hungry, having been given only a small meal since last night.
(Seriously, my body is always greedy....)
William: ".....Heh, shall we go back and get one more?"

William: ".....Heh, shall we go back and get one more?"
Kate: "Eh!?"
I looked up and saw William laughing in amusement.
William: "Fortunately, we haven't been walking for too long. The store is still visible."
Liam: "Hm? What's wrong? Do you want another one?"
Harrison: "Are we greedy today? I'll wait here, you can go buy another one."
Kate: "No, it's fine."
(I feel so sorry for being so selfish!)
William: "......Are you sure?"

Our mission is more important.
I want to eat more.

Kate: "......The pie was definitely delicious and of course, I wanna eat more."
Kate: "But it doesn't have to be now."
William: "Hmmm? Patient as ever."
Kate: "If I want more, I can always come back and buy another one."
..............
Eventually, we arrived at our destination at dusk.
(So, what is this hard mission anyway.....?)
Perhaps it was the fact that my stomach was also satisfied and full, I feel calm.
Chairman: "Count William Rex. What are your requirements this time?"
The bank president came into the reception room, bowed condescendingly, and sat down in a chair facing us.
William: "I would like to confirm the full details of a certain fund transaction. We would like you to disclose all the information regarding this account number."
William took out an envelope and held it out in front of the chairman.
Chairman: "......."
I felt the chairman's mouth tighten slightly.
William: "..........."
William also observed him carefully as if trying to figure out a hundred things even at his slightest change of movements.
(And that envelope....)
The wax sealing with a 'golden butterfly' looked familiar.
It was the one William was toying with in the dining room on the first night.
(The information we're trying to find out now may have something to do with the man who was killed that night?)
Chairman: "I'm terribly sorry, but....I can't give you our customer information because of trust issues."
William: "Are you implying that your precious bank is being used for money laundering?"
Chairman: "Nn....."
(Money laundering.....?)
Harrison: "Basically, concealing money that is gathered from illegal activities by passing it from here and there to make it look legitimate."
Harrison immediately whispered into my ear, as I looked confused.
Kate: "I see. Thank you for telling me."
Harrison: "Seriously though, why are you so....."
Kate: "....Hm?"
Harrison: ".....Heh, nothing."
William: "It would be wise to cooperate with the investigation in order not to lose the trust of your customers."
Chairman: "W-Why isn't it the police coming to investigate?"
William: "Because it's possible that someone inside the police department or even higher up could be involved."
William: "I recommend that you not pry any further into this matter."
Chairman: ".....Nn."
The chairman looked to his secretary, and soon a stack of documents was piled high on his desk.
(That's huge...Are they seriously going to investigate this and find the root cause? It's seriously going to be a pain.....Hm?)
Suddenly I looked at William and the others and saw that none of them were moving forward to examine the documents.
Harrison: "Is that all?"
Harrison asked, looking straight at the Chairman with his minty-colored eyes.
Chairman: "Y-Yes...That's all."
Harrison: "Heh, no lying. If you don't send us 'all' documents immediately, you will be in trouble~"

Harrison: "Heh, no lying. If you don't send us 'all' documents immediately, you will be in trouble~"
Chairman: ".....!?"
(What do you mean....? How does he know that it's not all the documents?)
Chairman: "E-Excuse me...I just remembered something important...."
William: "Please go ahead. We will be waiting for you here."
I watch in dismay as the pale chairman walks quickly out of the room.
(He's totally trying to escape....?)
Kate: "Is it really okay to let him go like that?"
William: "Mmhm. There's no problem for now, at least."
Kate: "Also, how did you guys know that he didn't provide all the documents...?"
Harrison: "I can tell if someone is lying or not just by looking them in the eye."
Kate: ".....!"
(Is that your ability.....so wait, the chairman is actually hiding something?)
Kate: ".....Then can you tell now? What kind of information are you actually looking for?"
William: "This letter we confiscated from that mansion you wandered into."
William: "It's asking for donations to a 'charitable organisation' but that charitable organisation doesn't actually exist."
Kate: "A non-existing charitable organization...."
William: "This 'golden butterfly' is a code word for an organisation......it's a cloak."
William: "The charitable organisation is simply a cover. The name of the representative is also unknown."
William: "The 'golden butterfly' has been in hiding for the past few years, but....someone is trying to get it to flap its wings again."
William: "Who is the initiator of the 'butterfly' revival? That's what we wanna know."
Kate: "What kind of organization is...this 'Golden butterfly'?"
William: "........."
(Eh....)
A shiver runs down my spine as I feel a cold anger in William's profile as he looks down at the gold engraving.
William: "As I told you before, this infestation in England, violating freedom and dignity, exploiting the sweet nectar....."
William: "In short, they vermin."
As if they are an enemy of William himself, rather than an object to be judged by the Crown as a task.
He is a man who is always in a good mood and smiling, but I could feel the killing spirit that burned his skin.
---At that moment, a jittery alarm was sounded.
(W-What the....!?)
William: "Slower than I thought."

Starting with the alarm, the tranquil interior of the bank was instantly plunged into chaos as if a beehive has been poked.
Security guard: "You guys secure the clients, the rest of you guard the vault. Hurry up!"
Kate: "What the hell is going on....?"
Heavy footsteps and shouts come flying in from the hallway, and I rush to stand up from my chair.
Security guard: "We have a burglar who has just broken into the first floor! But don't worry, everyone! We'll guide you to evacuation!"
(Robbery....!?)
Impatiently, I looked back at William and the others, and they were as calm as I had expected them to do.
Harrison: "So he has been exposed, just like we thought he would."
William: "At least, it saved me from having to wrestle with piles and piles of documents."
(As expected.....no way)
Kate: "What does this robbery racket....have to do with the chairman's escape?"
William: "The chairman must have informed his 'client' that some people came here looking for 'golden butterflies'."
Liam: "Then, the guy who heard the news and immediately set up the robbery"
Liam: "To kill the tracker in the heat of the moment---that is, to kill us."
Harrison: "Sure enough, the chairman was also the end of the 'butterfly."
Kate: "No way...."
(Who the heck is this 'client'....that can instigate a robbery in such a short period with one call?)
William: ".....! Liam."
Liam: "Roger that."
(Gunshot!?)
Faster than I could be surprised, William hid me behind his back.
Soon after, men in banker's garb with guns at the ready come rushing into the room.
Man dressed as a banker: "Freeze!"
Kate: "How are we going to get out of here?"
William: "Why should we run away? We have a cat."
(Cat? Oh yeah, Liam is missing)
Liam: "Okay, that's enough!"
Suddenly, Liam's voice comes from the void, and the pistol rolls out of the bankers' hands as if it had been smacked hard off their hands.
Man dressed as a banker: "Nn....Shit....!"
With puzzled expressions on their faces, they crumpled to the ground one by one.
Liam: "Phew....How was that? Wasn't I cool?"
Kate: "Ah....Y-Yes...."
Harrison: "Just be honest and say you were scared."
Liam: "Huhh? They were the ones who were scared. They shot at us out of blue."
(I don't have time to be scared when I'm with these guys.....)
William: "Let's find the chairman. He's got to be hiding somewhere to check on our bodies before the police do."
William: "I need to know 'everything' about his clients."
........
Most of the people have probably evacuated, and I follow everyone in the Crown down the deserted bank corridor.
Man dressed as a banker: "There!"
(....!)
From the corner of the hallway, several men who look like bank employees, the same ones who attacked me earlier, leap out with knives in their hands.
I took a few steps away from them and clung to the wall to stay out of their way.
----That moment.
(Eh.....?)
My footsteps stumbled and my body falls inside a room.
Kate: "!?"
｡⋆｡˚🦋˚｡⋆｡
Kate: "Ouch!"
???: "Nn!?"
With a thud, I rolled into the mystery room.
(Where am.....!? ......Or rather, right now, I just heard someone scream)
Kate: "Uh....!?"
As soon as I try to look around, I was grabbed on both shoulders with strong force.
I looked up and there he was.....the chairman, with a pale complexion.
Chairman: "Tsk, do they know I'm here? How did they find this room?"
Chairman: "Who the hell are you people? How did you get that envelope! Tell me and we'll spare your life, now answer!"
The chairman looks distraught and he starts to speak as if he's under high pressure.
(Ouch....)
His thick fingers digging into my shoulders, tightening just barely to the bone. When my face contorted involuntarily, the chairman laughed triumphantly.
Chairman: "Haha, does it hurt? That's what happens when you're a woman and get involved in a man's business. It's unfortunate for working class women."
Chairman: "Well, you don't look half bad. I can feed you. How about betraying these people who are going to hurt you like this."
Chairman: "You just have to be obedient and please me in bed. I'll buy you food, dresses, anything or everything you want. I give you a comfortable life."
Chairman: "It's a blessing in disguise, isn't it? So tell me everything!"
(...I feel nauseous)
I almost gagged, anger and sadness simmering in my gut, but I couldn't speak.
Because this kind of insult abounds in England, and voicing it won't change anything.
Sadness and anger are common. If you look around the city, there are worse things than this.
No one will help you. If you cannot endure it, they will hurt you and if you interrupt them, they will keep causing you pain
(But then.....why?)
(Why do we even have a voice?)
"---You are the only one who can listen to your heart and give it a voice."
For some reason, I remembered William's words.
Kate: "......No."
Chairman: "Hm?"
Kate: "Don't decide what makes me happy."
The words spilled out of my mouth.
Kate: "Nn.....!"
I suddenly felt a sharp pain. The Chairman's face turned red in anger, as he was on top of me.
His thick fingers, this time tightened around my neck.
(It hurts.......! I can't breathe....)
As I struggled and resisted, the thought of death crossed my mind.
It's not like saying 'See you next time' and ending a conversation. It's actually the end.
Am I really going to die here?
(If this happens then....)
William: "Raise your hands."
I heard a cold voice and instantly, air rushed into my lungs.
Kate: "Koff koff! Haa....Haa....Haa.....!"
I choked and breathed in and out to fill air into my lungs several times and I finally look up.
William: "Let's start the interrogation."
----The eyes of the Evil King, darker than the darkness of the approaching evening, looked down at the chairman.

I saw Dragon Prince season 4 and hoo boy do I have thoughts (in no particular order)
First off, it's adorable how much of a magic nerd Callum is. He's grown so much and become so much stronger in two years
Stella is baby. She's living her best life with her cuddlemama and future cuddle papa. Speaking of, let Callum becalled a cuddlepapa by himself or Rayla next season
Zym and Ezran have grown up so much and it both breaks and warms my heart
Okay, so Rayla is a Dragonguard. Good to know.
Terry is my son now. I adopted him, he's mine.
I feel like Callum is just a little bit jealous of Stella getting love from Rayla
“The other elves saw me as a doe, but I knew. I always knew that I was a buck. I..chose the name Terrestrius.”....This line here. This line is gonna stick with me forever. I honestly didn't expect them to outright tell or show us Terry is trans but I'm so glad. That's gonna mean so much to trans kids watching this show. And the fact that Viren has no problems with it at all makes it even more special. Although Terry's wording makes me wonder if someone in his family didn't accept him.
Oh man I just read his wiki page and apparently Terry is still mid transition
I'm calling it now, that girl that figured out Araavos is Harrow and Ezran's descendant
Well, at least we know how loyal Terry is to Claudia.....someone get this poor boy a mug of hot cocoa, a blanket, a hug, and a therapist; he's earned it. He was 100% having a panic attack

I KNEW IT! I KNEW RAYLA'S PARENTS WERE IN THE COINS!GOD POOR RAYLA! ETHARI AND CALLUM ARE GONNA LOSE THEIR SHIT!
Hot damn, Ezran's speech combined with Ibis and Claudia fighting was powerful...that whole scene really encapsulates what the entire show is about, I think
Zubeia gets more and more badass with every episode
I wasn't expecting the chocolate tart to be brought back but it's nice that Rex Igneous liked it. Although how could he taste so much of such a little thing?
Ohhhhh wait, I just got that! Rex means king, he's KING Igneous!
Oh man I had no idea Ezran's crown is made from Harrow's sword
That possesion scene was straight up creepy, I honestly thought Callum died for a second
Speaking of creepy, I never wanna see snake Claudia again, please and thank you
I know Callum is angry at Rayla but he needs to talk to her, really. I feel like he's using the possession thing as an excuse to not talk about their relationship. Like, I do think he's genuinely shaken up by it but he's choosing to focus on that because it's easier
Soren...god, Soren has changed so much. In just 3 years, this boy has gone from picking fights with dragons and being eager to kill them to not being able to turn away from a dragon in need. He even shed his armor for her. Season 1 Soren would NEVER have done that in a million years
Another thing S1 Soren would never do is that talk with Claudia. Man, that was deep.
Also I love Soren's new look, I feel like it suits him way better than his knight armor
I dunno why I expected an out of the gate dramatic conversation when Soren found Claudia. Although I am glad we still got them having that conversation
I will say though, I do wish we got more of a reaction to Terry from Soren
Can Squeaky return next season as Soren's dragon pal? Please? he's the only one that doesn't have an animal companion
"I wanna spend the last month traveling with my daughter, the most important person in the world to me" I....it's nice that you're finally learning to not be a jackass Viren, but did you forget that you have a son??? Is Soren just chopped liver to you?
That said, I do appreciate that Viren has changed. I feel like he's definitely not gonna become immortal.
Regarding Claudia's speech about human suffering....either she's been fed TONS of propaganda by Araavos or she's taking it way too personally after all this time. Like, girl, you have an elf boyfriend, calm down

I have decided to rewatch the entire series over the hiatus with reviews. Whether anyone reads these will come with time haha but either way I’m doing it cause I think it’ll be fun with having s5 done and going back I’ll see things with totally different POV. Will credit all gifs I use to their original owners at the end of my reviews. All the gif makers in this fandom are the real MVPs ❤️ These reviews will mainly center around Chenford and development of Tim and Lucy through out the series , but I will throw in bits about the show as a whole too. Because I do love it as a whole as well. These may be long cause I have a lot to say haha anyway whoever sticks around and reads it I love you haha feel free to comment on these posts as well. Would love that. Alright here we go. Let us start where it all began the Pilot.
Some backstory like to add here for me. I’ve been with this show since it got green lit by ABC. I was a huge Nathan Fillion fan and wanted to follow him to his next show. Also I loved Eric from my teenage years. So my sisters were obsessed with Days of Our lives as teens. I had no interest in it till Eric entered the arena. I thought he was (and still is BTW) one of the most beautiful men I had ever seen. I was very interested in watching DOOL after that LOL if you didn’t know that tid bit about him before now you know. His name was Rex and he was shirtless quite a lot and had my rapt attention as a 14 year old girl. Lmao
Anyways Nathan and Eric were the reasons I started this show. I was excited Nathan had a new show and Eric was a bonus for me. I was so excited I remember watching the pilot on my phone during my lunch in the pool room of my job at the time. The pilot had me captivated and I knew this was going to be a great show.
First off like to start with I miss Nathan with some meat on his bones. I know he has to be in wicked good shape for this role. I just miss his ‘Castle’ form from s1.
Second like to talk about my girl Lucy Chen. Her characters entrance into the show is my fav of the pilot. Lucy has such BAMF intro. The ‘hot shot’ right off the bat. I will always love her opening appearance. That confident bad ass is what Tim sees in her day one. Why he’s so damn hard on her. She just doesn’t see that in herself it just yet. But hell of a start for her.
Then we have our first glimpse into Chenford. To that lightning in a bottle chemistry. Doing that thing Eric and Melissa do so damn well. Their silent communication with just their eyes and expressions. Saw this look between them and I was a goner.
‘Officer Bradford gets our hot shot ‘ He most definitely did in more ways than one. Has no idea how his entire world is about to shift with her in his life. I think he was very impressed with her. Thought she was a ‘hotshot’ because of the arrest that morning. But he couldn’t let her know or see that. Especially not on her first day with him and at this point in time ever.
Ah Tim s1- so very guarded his walls so high the Great Wall of China is put to shame. To me s1 Tim is a man in pain and its exuding out of him with every action he makes. He has no emotional support or outlet and it shows. It’s why Lucy entering his life was the best thing for him. Shook him out of his walking pain/anger. We get to see the first glimpse of the ‘Tim Tests’ Lucy is to endure.
She’s not even two seconds into her time with him before this occurs. He’s grilling her already. So hard on her right out the gate. Because he saw something in her. He was testing her in the harshest way. Being so hard because he was hurting not that a first time viewer would know that. Re-watching s1 Tim the man truly is hurting and lashing out with everything he does. He so damn gruff , angry and guarded, that he comes off like a tool cause well he was at this point.
You aren’t supposed to like him right now IMO. You only see him as this insensitive jerk. You have no more information at this point than this current impression . When you know his whole story rewatching him like this. All I see is a radioactively angry and hurt man. You’re not supposed to like him right here and now. He’s coming off as unreasonable grump of a man. Especially so when Lucy fails his first Tim Test. Which leads us to the gas station scene.
The ‘punishment’ he gives her just another test. To him it’s his way of proving to himself he’s right about her. He already knows she can take care of herself. He wanted to see it in action and Lucy delivers in spades. The pride is written all over his handsome face when she wins her fight. Then Isabel shows up…
Eric KILLS me in this scene. The way his eyes tear up. His whole body is trembling. You can hear his bated breath as he speaks to her. He goes from gruff T.O. to concerned husband in a flash. We get our first look into him as a character. That he’s more than just this hard ass T.O giving Lucy a hard time. That there is something going on behind the scenes for him and it’s deep.
I applaud Eric for this scene we get to see him become human and vulnerable for the first time. Not only that but be those things around Lucy for the first time. She’s already soft for him when she gets the glimpse into him as a person. Says she promises she won’t tell anyone. He quickly resolves it with his sharp reply to her saying ‘ Damn right you won’t’. He’s mad at himself for letting Lucy see even a glimmer of vulnerability. Can’t show her one damn crack in his rough T.O. exterior. (yet…). Pilot does such a good job setting up their dynamic, of everyone’s really but theirs is my focus of course in these reviews.
Lucy probably thinks he’s out to make her life hell. When really he’s seeing potential in her. As seen in the previous scene at the gas station. He’s hurting so naturally he’s going to throw himself into work. Not let Lucy waste this potential he sees in her. Because work and training her is something he can absolutely control unlike the situation with Isabel. We get to see Lucy apply one her lessons in their next scene together.
Tim kicking her out of the car earlier (Which at the time I’m sure she loathed )him doing so save ultimately ends up saving his life. When he gets shot and she’s able to relay where they are and get him to safety. Also how she defends them both until backup arrives. Reinforcing what he sees in her in the first place. She protects herself and Tim like a pro.
Some side notes I’ll probably make each ep. Probably non Chenford related. I always forget how much I loved Captain Zoe Anderson- she was only in the show for a short time but made a massive impact. She was such a fierce leader putting Grey in his place and her POV on Nolan.
Also Lucy being with Nolan in beginning. Even when first started watching. I was like nope. Don’t like this. They just didn’t work. I hate it every time I re-watch it I hate it LOL but it does show her pattern of things before Tim. Such as taking on relationships she knows will never work out. I.e. Nolan. Because she isn’t ready for such commitment or projects like Chris. Well that’s all she wrote for the pilot. Was fun to write this up. Will continue to do so through out the hiatus. 😊

Being in love with you (Captain Rex x Jedi Reader)
Summary: Reader is semi drunk and wants to tell Rex about her feelings for him.

Warnings: mentions and kinda use of alcohol, feelings, fluff, mentions of war, use of Y/N, fmc, mentions of loss, intimate moment, too much cuteness
A/N: First of all this is the very first one shot I’ve ever wrote. Unfortunately English isn’t my first language so I’m sorry for grammar mistakes and wrong spellings and stuff like that. I hope you enjoy reading. Please correct me if you recognise any mistakes (grammar and stuff and also how I interpreted characters and places…I’m kinda new into the Star Wars franchise).
Maybe it was a dumb idea. It definitely was one, but for now I was standing in front of the 79’s while its neon orange symbol was laughing at me and my stupidity. The Music coming from inside was clearly to hear while clones were coming and going the whole time. Just I was standing still while time was keep moving like the planet kept doing its rotations.
A Jedi in the 79’s. Anakin would laugh at me if I told him about my trip. Not just would he laugh because I was here in robe semi drunk, but he would also laugh at the reasoning. Today would be the day. I’d tell Captain Rex from the 501st Battalion about my feelings. My feelings for him.
Probably the alcohol in me led to my actions and I’d probably get rejected and would regret it tomorrow, but all of that didn’t matter right now. Now, just my confidence and Rex in this bar mattered. I expected him to be here, because Fives told me.
I knew Rex a while know and since the day we’ve met he had me wrapped around his little finger. I just loved the way he talked and how he behaved and cared for his brothers and friends. He was one of the good guys and I fell for that side which he showed rarely.
I pushed the door open to the 79’s my hood pulled deep into my face. Hopefully nobody took a second glance at me and would recognise me as one of their generals, but after seeing the crowded room I did not give that a second thought.
Fully inside of the bar the smell of alcohol and sweat hit me, but I’d get used to it. I always get used to it. Like I’ve got used to that I couldn’t see my parents anymore after the Jedi took me with them or all the rules they had. Somehow you always get used to it. Mostly because you had to.
Looking around the first thing I noticed were a few of Anakins troopers in the back. They were too busy joking and drinking to see me, but around me were also too many people and I could easily get lost in the mass.
My eyes glanced over every face, the person I’ve searched for not in my sight. Dramatically I let out the air I was holding in my lungs as I finally saw Cody from the 212th Bataillon and next to him on a bar stool was he. The man I was looking for: Captain Rex. Damn.
My heart quickened its pace as I walked slowly towards them. The people around me not making it easier to get any faster to them.
Cody was the first one to see me. His face showed surprise and a little grin. He said something to Rex, before Rex looked over his shoulder at me. His eyes instantly found mine. They were warm as always and he sent a smile towards me which I mirrored nervously. My hands were wet of the sweat and my cheeks warm from the alcohol. That’s what I told myself at least.
I stopped in front of them. “Hey Commander, Captain”, I greeted with a smile.
“Didn’t expect to see you here, General”, Cody answered while sipping on his drink.
“I’d say the same to you two. I’ve heard you’re not very common here.”
Rex chuckled lightly at my words.
“Sometimes we also don’t know how we end up here.”
I felt that. I also didn’t know how I ended up here. Better said I didn’t know where I got the idea from. Had to be the alcohol I drank with Padme while gossiping about senate stuff and her clumsy husband.
Silence made its way between the three of us as I took the word again.
“I’d like to speak with you, Captain. That’s why I’m here at least.”
He drank his whole glass in one sip as he stoop up and said his goodbyes to Cody as he tilted his head towards me to follow him. I did while waving goodbye to Cody. He grinned at me with a knowing look while toasting towards me with his glass. He knew exactly what I was up to. What a dick. Next time I’d see him I’ll wash that grin away.
“What is it, General?“, Rex asked when we were outside of the Bar. We were walking slowly side by side. The street was a bit emptier than a few minutes ago, when I stood outside, but the traffic was still loud and clear to hear. Something was always going on here. And I liked that. Sometimes my head was loud and just something louder was able to silence my thoughts.
“It’s Y/N, Rex“, I mumbled under my breath.
“What?”
“You should call me by my name like I do with you.”
First he was just looking at me. Speechless if you wanted to say. It was the first time ever I saw him like that.
“You alright?”, I asked while putting my hand on his shoulder. Slowly he nodded before awakening fully from his rigid.
“Of course, Y/N.” I liked how my name sounded from his lips. I hoped he’d say it again.
Rex smiled softly as he drew his attention to my hand on his shoulder. I quickly removed it from him again. Too quickly.
He chuckled at my clumsiness before he looked at me like he wanted to say: “Should we keep going?“ I nodded and once again we fell into step.
The quietness between the two of us was familiar. Sometimes we just walked together on the cruiser. In complete silence, admiring the atmosphere which was always calm and peaceful between us.
“You haven’t told me yet what you wanted to say.“
I nodded in silence. How could I say it without being awkward?
“It’s difficult.“ He frowned worriedly while his eyes kept scanning my face.
“Are you alright?” His thumb brushed over my cheek slightly and I fell into his touch.
“Don’t worry. Nothing bad happened.” He relaxed slightly but not fully. He knew that it was something important when I wanted to talk to him after his usual work schedule.
“You drank”, he mumbled more to himself than to me. “Maybe we should talk tomorrow and not know.” Before you do or say something you regret. Rex wanted to say it but didn’t do it. I felt it. And maybe it was dangerous that I already knew him that well.
“I’m not quite sure if I’d talk to you about if we wait for tomorrow morning”, I remarked. Rex stayed silent while scanning my face once again. Just now I recognised how tired and exhausted he looked. The last mission was a though one. We lost many good soldiers and even Anakin was at the end of his force. But we made it out alive and I sweared myself that I wouldn’t risk it again that I lost Rex without telling him about my feelings. I wouldn’t be able to go on normally if I’d say nothing to him. I couldn’t go on living if I had something to regret.
New found strength helped me with my next words. Just the reminder what I’ve felt like on the last mission made me talking.
“I know that I probably shouldn’t feel and act that way, but I wanted to tell you that.” It’s almost done. Just a few more words. You got this.
“That I’ve got feelings for you. And to be honest these feelings are romantic feelings and no platonic ones. That makes it even worse cause I’m a Jedi as you know. I’m not even allowed to have platonic relationships, but a romantic one? The maker knows how they’d react.” They’d probably disown me.
Rex was silent. He stared at me with those amber eyes and didn’t make a sound. Maybe he was scared. Maybe he didn’t know what to say and how to react. Or maybe Rex just didn’t feel this way.
My cheeks turned red in embarrassment but for now I said everything I always wanted to tell. I felt relieved and inside of me it was silent. There was nothing to regret.
“I didn’t know if I imagined this tension.” Rex whispered. “I didn’t know if I imagined there was something between us or if this was just one of the fantasies my love drunk brain made up. I mean I shouldn’t feel that way either. I’m a soldier and didn’t exactly know what I felt when we met and were together. Nobody told me ‘bout love ‘cause it’s forbidden for us clones to have a deeper connection with an other individual.” He stuttered more or less to himself. His eyes were looking between my eyes and our surroundings. Rex was just as nervous as I was as he was searching for words and a point he could focus on.
Carefully I took his big gloved hand in my hands. From one second to another he went silent and was just looking at me. Waiting.
“What does your stumbling mean?”, I chuckled.
He grinned and his thumb brushed over the back of my hand. “It means that I’m feeling the same way as you do, Y/N.”
My breath hitched and I laughed nervously while my knees were getting buttery and I almost slipped. Breath.
“That’s-that’s awesome.” Was the only possible thing I could say. That was all my brain was capable of right now. Every other thought was washed away and my head just empty left.
“Now, are you alright, General?” Rex thumb caressed my cheek again while his other hand found his way to my waist. He held me like I was just about to slip through his fingers. What I really was actually. I didn’t know how much longer my legs would hold me in place.
“Yes, yes I really am. I’m really alright.” My cheeks were pink and I had the biggest smile plastered on my face, but I was sure he couldn’t see it ‘cause here on the streets was not much light left.
“I’m glad. Then maybe you’d agree if I ask to kiss you?” Rex thumb brushed my cheek while his other arm around my waist pulled me gently closer to him and his face.
While I leaned up I sighed, “It would be my pleasure, Captain.”

thoughts on Ahsoka ep8

Morgan being given "the gift of shadows" by the night sisters was so cool. And then her getting mother talzin's blade thing!!
Kanan reference!! A more in depth one this time!! I was already crying by this part 😭
And Ahsoka talks about Anakin so much in this show I'm not well. Ahsoka and Ezra holding up the ship with the force was epic btw.
"For Dathomir". Chills.
I love how thrawn is so scared of anakin and anyone trained by him in this show it's an awesome reference.
I knew the night sisters were reanimating some of the troopers with magic! I knew it!

Sabine using the force properly for the first time in the same way as Luke >>>
Didn't expect Sabine to stay behind and help Ahsoka, honestly. But now I see that it was the same choice she had to make earlier. First it was either leave behind Ezra, or risk releasing thrawn back into the galaxy, and this time it was help Ezra defeat thrawn, or save her master and friend. Sabine still can't let go of the people close to her, even when it has terrible consequences.
"one wonders, just how similar you might become" anyone else been picking up a bit of dark-side indulging Ahsoka vibe in this show? She definitely channeled the dark side during her fight with baylan on seatos, and she sith eyes for a moment in the world between worlds (which is more likely symbolizing the dark side in her of course).
Also thrawn calling Ahsoka a ronin!! Can we all just say ronin or Jedi ronin now instead of grey Jedi it's so much cooler.
Sabine and Ahsoka literally swapped places with Ezra omg 🥲 but now they're friends with snail turtles now yay ig
I really do feel bad for shin at this point tbh. Whatever path she's on now isn't good for her or anyone else, she needs her master back.
The statues of the mortis gods!!! I literally screamed when I saw them!!! I wonder if the fact that the sisters head fell off and it's the most damaged statue has to do with anything? And I think Baylan standing on the father statue really symbolizes that he isn't partial to the light or dark side, he's fairly balanced. Also I really have no idea where his character is going, he's too mysterious and the actings too good. RIP Ray Stevenson.
EZRA IS BACK! FOR REAL HE WAS ON HOME ONE! I love how chop immediately knew it was him. "Is it you? Is it you Ezra?" 😭 and also DAMNIT DAVE WHY'D YOU HAVE TO CUT THE SHOT THEY WERE ABOUT TO HUG
I can't wait for Ezra to find out about jacen! I really hope jacen doesn't go to Luke's academy that would not end well.
