Another shit post of things I think the spider band will do in certain situations that I have/or am currently going through. (I should make these a series)

The theme of this post: Flying!

Specifically flying in airplanes cause I’m about to get in one in a couple of hours. So this is how I think the spider kids get ready for a flight and how they react on the the plane.

Miles: This man is the type of person that has to arrive at the airport 18 hours before their plane leaves. Totally over packs and if you forgot something you best believe he brought a extra of that thing. Always weighs his suitcase so he doesn’t have to pay extra. “Uh Miles, how’d you fit that in your carryon bag?” He’s running around, triple checking he’s got the tickets, recounting everything he brought. He’s my mom basically. On the plane he’s much more calm, turbulence doesn’t scare him cause he’s too busy listening to his music and talking with Gwen.

Gwen: She’s the calmest of the group. Also keeps everyone in check. “HOBIE I SWEAR PUT IT BACK!” Basically the anxiety relief Miles needs when they’re packing. Always placing a hand on Miles’s shoulder when he freaks out. She’s the type to wait in the airport lobby and play on her Nintendo switch. Sleeps most of the flight and watches movies with Miles so turbulence doesn’t bother her. Y’know she wears the comfiest clothes to the airport. Suffers from jet lag the worst tho.

Pavitr: Packs the best fucking snacks. He’s tried airplane food and never again. I don’t know why but I can see him knitting while at the airport. He’s the type to probably get distracted by Knick knacks at airports, especially from other countries cause he wants to bring one back for his aunt. “Oh look at this snow globe! Maya Auntie would love it!” Doesn’t do to well once in the air. This boy is extremely smart so probably did a ton of research on planes and gets a bit paranoid when turbulence hits. Other wise than that he’s calm while either talking to Hobie, knitting, using those extremely complicated adult coloring books, or just sleeping. When he wakes up you know this boy’s hair is still perfect.

Hobie: This man has been caught with a pocket knife while going through screening. He’s the guy who will mostly sleep throughout most of the airport experience. Isn’t the best at packing but Pav helps him a bit. For some reason has the exact thing they need for certain situations. “I don’t know mate, just appeared in my bag.” Doesn’t mind airplane food but absolutely loves to eat the snacks Pav has packed. Definitely has Knick knacks from all the places he’s flown to. Is terrible when it comes to flying. He’ll act all cool on the outside but the moment turbulence hits his knuckles are turning white from the grip he has on the armrest. Pavitr is there to comfort him tho. Respects the flight attendants and won’t put up with anyone giving them shit for simply doing their job.

I had this thought that you’d try to find new textures and things for him to feel- like you’d go out and find new stuff for him to try (like you’d both make a game or date out if it)

he’s very patient, and someone who is very understanding

he’d definitely know you better than you know yourself

your heartbeat is definitely something that grounds him- something that helps him sleep at night

you’re his safe place, as he is to you

you keep loads of first aid kits around his apartment- there’s tonnes stashed everywhere. and you often help clean him and mend him if and when he’s injured

he hates to leave you at night, feel like you might not like it either (not knowing if he’ll be back) but you also know he can’t not do it

feel like he enjoys when you take care of him- eventhough he can take care of himself and doesn’t want to burden- he likes when you physically care for him; maybe you help trim his stubble or help him organise

if home was a person

can sometimes get a little jealous and possessive

feel like he gets really overwhelmed and possibly very frustrated with himself

he always wants to help people and feels really guilty when he can’t- you always reassure him that’s it’s not all his responsibility etc

he probably gets earaches quite a bit- you get him things to help soothe it

feel like he’s a cherry person (idrk what that means, but when I look at people they sometimes look like fruit flavours, like Karen is strawberry, Foggy is blackcurrant- to me it makes sense)

very charismatic

goofy like he is in the comics

man spreads a lot - sprawls out on sofa

loves a good head scratch (bc he is a good boy ofc) likes his hair played with

you try to introduce him to new music and podcasts

he can see right through you

will always be ready to fight someone for you

you have inside jokes about how he’s was such a wh0re before you (he’s not called Matthew man-whore Murdock for nothing)

he probably jokes a lot about his lack of sight, sometimes you forget that he is actually blind, “you should see this.” “I can’t” like that kinda thing, but it’s always light and jokey- he’d never actually be offended

he doesn’t talk about you in public in front of everyone- not in a bad way, just to keep your name safe. only Foggy and Karen know about you- but they love you and love that you’re good for Matt

he literally worships that ground you walk on- admires the heck out of you. thinks you’re the most beautiful person

he’s a very reliable person

you like to help him with cases- eventhough you’re not actually allowed

feel like you don’t use the big lights in the apartment- you just have lots of candles around the place instead (so it’s the best of both worlds)

he loves when you read to him

drink beer together late at night- chatting and hanging out

if you want to describe something you see, you draw them with your fingertips on him

he gets you red flowers- asks the florist for something read and pretty

you made him a ‘I am not Daredevil’ sweater, he loves it and wears all the time at home

if you’re walking together arm-in-arm on the street and people don’t move out the way, you say something like “hey! watch it.” bc you hate the thought of them being so oblivious- but Matt loves it when you do that

always caressing you, loves your curves- arms, hips, legs, the lot

likes to trace over your nose bridge and lips

you got him to draw a small heart (it won’t be perfect but that’s the point) and you get it tattooed on yourself

Asking you about your ska troll concept! They look so cool and I would love to learn more about them

@shadow-ray4 thank you for asking, genuinely was positive that no one would ask 😅😣 but I am HAPPY to share! To start here are the full refs I've done so far and explain as much of the concept as I've developed in my brain lmaooo (ALL MAJOR DEETS undercut cause its gonna be LONG)

@goldendaydna also helped with this and lowkey a concept we are semi working out since her sona Golden Tempo is an Urbano Troll (a recently named concept lol)

Ska Trolls are Big, Bright, and BOLD. Together, these elements create an energetic, highly danceable, highly vibe-able troll genre. They also explode into confetti and confections when excited or surprised. Dont worry they pop back up as if nothing even happened leaving a pile of candy and crepe paper on the ground. (Ska trolls are super popular with the kids.) They practically live for the music, known for dancing for several days straight with hardly a rhyme or reason to stop.

*Like even the smallest of surprises just make em POP! (Bonus Branch doodle cause why not??)

Adara, my sona, is a 4th Generation Ska Troll (her father being a 3rd Gen while her mama is a punk rock troll) so TECHNICALLY shes Ska-punk, but she still has the appearance of your standard Ska Troll so it's more a music specific.

Her great great grandparents being a reggae leaning funk troll and a rocksteady leaning funk troll who formed The Underground after being seemingly left behind along with other alt/subgenres of the main 6 kingdoms when they split. A place for alternative trolls like herself and her friends could live and PARTY HARD without micro judgments against their music. It's a haven for other trolls who feel they dont quite fit a specific genre or even one at all, but also HELLA secluded from the rest of the Trolls so they look different and SOUND different. (Cave acoustics and all) The surface likely gets trimmers and even earthquakes from their raging parties. (I'm still fleshing this out but I have this piece of "concept art")

*Its literally a bioluminescent shroom town. Like glowing mushroom homes, food, ect- glow worms on the cave ceiling like stars in a night sky. All the various alternative genre of trolls have like a glowy eye thing that allows them to just see naturally in the dark too-

*these were some posters I took heavy color influence from for Adara's pallet (I know they arent all ska, but punk, reggae, and rocksteady aesthetics were an addition)

Obviously I took most inspo from pinatas, party/confetti poppers, and the sorts mainly because the funk trolls poop...well. baked goods and I wanted to play off that but lean into the crazy evolution the trolls have canonically in the universe that foam at the mouth for 👀 🤲 But I wanted to make sure her colors and patterns gave off not just Funk influence, but also micro subculture influences that are within The Underground. (This including but not not limited to, how closely Ska Trolls were to the Urbano Trolls communities within The Underground)

*Exchanged tassels and stringy fur textures for more paper textures. Like literally walking, talking, breathing pinatas fr

*Queen Essence I love yuuuu

They are bigger than the average Funk troll and have very similar features to them, but texture and color wise are very different. They much more vibrant and staturated. Giving a mix of felt and crepe paper. They have tails as sortve as an evolutionary trait but also it gives maximum party mode as it can hold objects and act as an extra hand. Their ears are also longer and slimmer, making it harder for them to lift or perk up so they stay droopy unlike their funk counterparts. They are all naturals at brass instruments (mainly trumpet) and ALWAYS have a hop in their step.

KTY: I mean we didn’t really set down in stone what she was going to do once she left, so in my mind she’s going to try and live her life like Ava would have wanted, while also obviously find out what Lilith was talking about when she mentioned the holy war.

KTY: “Pleasure.” Wasn’t in the script I think

Q: do you think Beatrice left the OCS in the intention of closing the door on this chapter in her life (including Ava) or is she going to actually look for ways to get Ava back?

KTY: I think she’s definitely going to be involved with the OCS but not in the same capacity as before

Q: hardest scene to shoot?

KTY: Ava falling at the hotel. We couldn’t for the life of us look in the same spot where she was supposed to be in the air 😂

Q: what do you think beatrice’s biggest pet peeve??

KTY: Selfishness

Q: do you have any ideas for what beatrice was like as a kid? or what activities she might have done growing up?

KTY: She was probably that kid in the classroom who just stares out the window and doesn’t really pay attention, but when called knows the answer immediately. Probably not very sociable tbh. I imagine she liked chess and puzzle games stuff like that

KTY: Cereal first for both of us

KTY: I’d like to see Beatrice solidify herself as her own person separate from being a nun and allow herself to live like she’s always wanted to live. As for the others that’s really up to them!

KTY: Ava passing through the portal was probably my favorite to film

KTY: I think she didn’t intend to ever leave, but her bubble has been popped by Ava so she realizes she can’t live there truthfully and honestly.

KTY: Maybe she’d be a surgeon or engineer of some kind

KTY: I think it’s kind of a me-ism. I touch my face when I’m nervous but I think for bea it means something else.

Q: which is your favorite: jealous beatrice or jealous ava?

KTY: Jealous Ava

Q: of all the locations you filmed in this season, which did you like the most and why?

KTY: Prado museum

Q: Who do you think cooked in their apartment Bea or Ava?

KTY: Probaby bea

Q: Everybody loved Bea's casual clothes. She seems more like herself and free. Could u talk about it? Did u help create her style?

KTY: Yeah I mean I had some say, but ultimately it was up to Christina the costume designer. It’ll be interesting to see how her style evolves 🤷🏻‍♀️

Q: how do we best convince non-believers (ppl who don't watch the show) to come over to our side?

KTY: I mean what do you lose by watching a show? Even if you don’t think you’ll like it just give it a try and then decide 🤞🏼

Q: Was there a lot that changed with the script because of Mary’s absence?

KTY: Yes there was. She was missed

Q: is this a reference to Ava being in the other side or you and alba are just being in a silly mood in the vid and the song is just a coincidence to Ava's fate? We really want to know (video)

KTY: It’s a total coincidence tbh lmao

KTY: I honestly think we’re all pretty good cooks!

KTY: Both. Also that way I don’t have to think about what to do with my hands.

KTY: She probably makes a good cuba libre but the alternative theory is hilarious and I like it

Q: what type of fighting costume would you like to see beatrice in now since she left the ocs?

KTY: Honestly I’d want cool jackets and cargo pants with military vests and turtlenecks. But that’s just me🫠

KTY: I like the fight in the apartment

KTY: Yeah all the time

KTY: I Hope we get more backstory! It would be so interesting to meet her parents. Tense scenes tho lmao

mean girls (2024)

fine. FINE. it is time to discuss mean girls (2024) bc i can't stop thinking about it and i had a severe mean girls the musical phase in 2018 and 2020 two separate times. and also i took notes watching the movie last night. so now you are all subject to hearing them. spoilers, obvi. (under the cut, of course)

i think it should be noted here that i also have Thoughts and Feelings on the bway musical. so if anyone wants to know those... moving on.

it's a movie-musical adapted from the stage musical adapted from the 2004 movie adapted from a BOOK called Queen Bees and Wannabes released in 2002. now that that's out of the way:

the good:

the sets are so much fun in the movie. the musical is like. a few desks and tables and a bed that all move and then. screens. i missed real sets. so much

opening the musical with janis and damien recording the video in the garage and having their narration work like that worked sooooo well. and then of course ending in the garage was very fun.

speaking of janis and damien, these are my favorite versions of janis and damien. auli'i and jaquel KILL IT as janis and damien.

angourie's cady (acting-wise) is really good. really cute and naïve and it feels authentic as a transition from new kid cady to plastic cady.

i also don't mind the changes to apex predator. i think auli'i and jaquel killed it and i think it works! i like the choreo too where everyone is acting animalistic (re: this is Girl World in the og movie) except regina.

avantika and bebe wood are also really great as gretchen and karen. this might be my favorite version of karen. ily karen shetty.

LOVE this version of someone gets hurt. i love regina controlling the atmospehere around her and literally becoming the apex predator. the partygoers don't move unless she allows it, and even planning cady's reaction (which is. gayer than expected) is so good.

CONTROVERSIAL TAKE? i prefer the story behind the pyro-lez thing. i never liked the space dyke story in the musical and i thought it was weird (though i prefer them calling her a space dyke because it's supposed to be mean. ya know)

im saving this for this bullet point bc every other bullet point would've been about but i've been a fan of renee's regina for forever now, so being able to see it outside of broadway and outside of shaky bootlegs is a blessing.

after regina eats shit at the talent show, during the social media montage, you can briefly hear the intrumental version of world burn, and i think thats cool.

SOMEONE GETS HURT (REPRISE) you will always be famous. i am so sorry they didn't put you on the soundtrack

damien on the jazzy will forever be funny. it's better than the og movie. i will stand by this.

also the background/looming beat of world burn like a second after janis gets done singing + the looming threat of regina's revenge is very cool.

OH world burn is very awesome in this bc. duh. of course it is. but what really stands out to me is that it's like apex predator again where everyone is acting like animals and reginas above it all (bc she did this lmao). another thing is the transition between one of the high notes to regina fake crying in mr duvalls office. that was so slay.

the reginald joke is my fave in the whole musical and im so glad they kept it. it makes me giggle every time.

canon lesbian janis imi'ike i love you.

the bad:

i miss all of the songs. give me back It Roars, Where Do You Belong, the entirety of Meet the Plastics, the What's Wrong with Me reprise, FEARLESS! and Whose House is This, More is Better, and Do This Thing!! GIVE THEM BACK TO ME!!! PLEASE!!! OH my god and Stop. jaquel would've blown this out of the water i just know it.

i miss the jokes about mrs george and her boob job. that shit was hilarious.

i don't care for cady's pov in revenge party in this one. those who have seen it Know.

i also miss the "NO! THEY'RE BOTH IN THE COSTUME!" that shit killed me. absolutely hilarious.

the musical (bway edition) actually did cut some of the iconic scenes from the movie, but i think this movie would've benefitted from adding them back in. give me the "we should totally just stab caesar!" line.

i hate Rockin Around The Pole. so fucking much. i hate it in the broadway version and i hated it in this. i hate this song so fucking much.

chris briney. that's all. he's got about as much personality as a wet piece of paper. get a different aaron.

even the broadway musical is like, actually mean. it still pales in comparison to the og movie. this movie could have done a little more to stand out from the actual musical and the og movie. idk. it could've said something. but if you walked into this movie and expected it to say something then that's on you. sorry.

this isn't something that needs to be categorized but i miss cady's inner monologue. it's very obvious in the movie but she's even got these cute little asides in the musical that i WISH they would've kept. like: "it seems kinda bad to spy on someone, but they're the first friends i've got, and i don't want to have none." is so much fun and gives cady so much character and i love it so much. erika henningsen is my favorite variation of cady. she's believable as both nerdy cady and plastic cady. also she's so, so funny. (honestly i think they should've brought her back for cady's songs in this musical. sawry. i don't think they should've replaced angourie bc i really like her cady But.)

another cute and quirky thing that i like from the musical that isn't in the movie (because it would be really hard to pull off) is that mrs heron/mrs george/mrs norbury are all played by the same actress.

anyway that's all i have to say about mean girls (2024). in my (completely unprofessional) opinion, they should've literally just adapted the actual musical script if they wanted to make this so bad. or released a pro-shot with renee as regina and this cast or something. they should've gone all out campy musical with this one instead of trying to market it as a remake bc it's not Really a remake. like it Is but it's Not.

Dave ironically is the one i claim to like the least but have the most headcanons about probably. I base a lot of what I think about him around him being a skater and my own personal experiences.... Fashion wise he has Big ass pants, busted shoes, the most egregious stained socks you ever seen, shoe-tie belt, big shirt.

also i feel like a lot of people draw daves room like. organized chaos. and walls and flooring is always white even if its coloured ... as if hes in a padded room?? when i actually am assuming he has that ugly ass apartment rough carpet all thru the house like a lot of condos have and thats stained to shit. Its hot there so itd smell thick and rank. itd be dusty as shit. Really im just tryna emphasize the stank on both dave and the strider apartment. you can visibly see the dudes dirty bro. and he prolly drowns himself in body spray n some basic deodorant

listen i know dave gives off “ sleek” clean metal type vibes, like hes gonna fit right in w the animal crossing “ cool “ items, but it just isnt right. hes neglected

When it comes to music! im not even sure I want to say this because people get so passionate about his music taste but I really do think its just 80s-90s hiphop. Please listen to The Bridge by Mc shan as its a classic

He has Dissociative identity disorder, and fibromylagia. I can definitely see him never really bringing the pain and fatigue up until later in life because he didn’t actually know not everyones in pain all the time

I know suits are like objectively cool and fresh and whatever but in my mind it makes sense to strive for that look and why it seems he was so obsessed w it for a while. Many kids who take up skating are low-middle or in poverty and look to skating to get them out of that predicament. To be able to wear and afford all those suits and ties is a sign of financial security. Dave didn’t actually have a suit and had to scale up a puppets suit to get one.

The Key to Granting Wishes - Yamato (listen here - subbed)

A cheesy shounen song about following your heart and friendship and what not. Comparing it to Yamato's image song from the first season, you can see he's grown past his emo, lone wolf phase.

Wasn't crazy about the song itself, but the music was great, especially the guitar solo. Had a nice bombastic intro too.

It's Alright - Gabumon (listen here & translation here)

Gabumon singing about his bond with Yamato. They both hide behind facades (Yamato's coolness, Gabumon's fur) and are misunderstood. I feel like this was a lot stronger as a character song than Yamato's solo song.

Gabumon's one of the quieter digimon so hearing him sing is a treat!

A touching (and CHEESY) ballad between Yamato and Gabumon about all the good times they've had together. It had strong drunken karaoke vibes haha.

Although cheesy, the lyrics did warm my heart a bit :') I think digimon/partner bonds get to me more than human/human bonds.

Koushiro & Tentomon

Meh, not a fan of this one. I felt like the lyrics were clunky and didn't flow well with the song's melody.

The song is about Koushiro learning new things about himself and his emotions through his journey in the digital world. Even though I didn't like it, I'm happy to hear Koushiro's voice again :')

Dengeki Rhapsody - Tentomon (listen here - subbed)

Tentomon 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I love him so much. This song was really cute and plucky. Basically just Tentomon singing about being a good partner and appreciating Koushiro.

The only thing that bugged me (hehe) about this one is that it implied that Tentomon is always obsessing over food but like...I don't remember that ever happening?

The Scenery of the World! - Koushiro & Tentomon duet (listen here - subbed)

Another banger! Mostly just because I love these two and relate to Koushiro's passion so much. He's singing about how excited he is to absorb all of the world's knowledge and to see the whole world with Tentomon. Koushiro would make a good librarian haha. I too have strong urges to learn everything ever (currently reading every page of Wikipedia).

Tentomon's part of the song is kind of exasperated but in a loving way. He sings about how Koushiro is always staying up late glued to his computer, but that he'll still always stick by his side and pep him up when he gets tired. So wholesome <3

Joe & Gomamon

Towards the Wind - Joe (listen here - subbed)

A lot of these solo songs have the same, general theme about growing as a person. I wonder if the vibe will be different for the younger 02 kids?

I liked the mellow vibe of this song. A nice, easy listen. Joe definitely has the most mature vibes of the gang, despite being dweeby.

Invincible Flutter Kick - Gomamon (listen here - subbed)

Gomamon singing about how helpless Joe is and how he'll always be them to protect him and lighten his load. So cute :3

News to me that Gomamon has an "invincible flutter kick" lol. I mean, I can picture it, but usually he just summoned fish.

Crawl the Sky - Joe & Gomaon duet (listen here - subbed)

Joe and Gomamon singing about their unlikely friendship. They balance each other out. I kind of wish the chorus wasn't the usual, cheesy "we can do anything if we're together!" lines. The first part of the song was a little stronger when they were comparing each other's characters.

These songs are making me wish I had a little buddy to explore the world with :'(

Mimi & Palmon

Super☆Girl - Mimi (Listen here - subbed)

Mimi singing about her personal growth. It was a pretty generic, motivational song about being brave to be yourself and not fear mistakes.

I do really enjoy how unabashedly girly Mimi is and her songs always reflect that.

A Little Pinkie's Fantasy - Palmon (Listen here - subbed)

This one was just weird. The lyrics were super awkward. I think they're alluding to a pinky promise when Palmon talks about a "pinkie's fantasy," but the metaphor doesn't really work. Also the line about glittering lips also seems like a non-sequitur.

I've never been a huge Palmon fan, so I think that's mostly why this one was no good for me. (She's also a little tone deaf lol).

Happy Smile - Mimi & Palmon (Listen here - subbed)

It's nice to hear a song where Mimi and Palmon are talking about their friendship cuz Mimi could honestly be kinda nasty to Palmon in the anime lol.

Some of the lyrics in this were a little clunky (they basically said stuff like "fun things are fun!" "Smiling is nice!" "Pretty things are good!") but I liked the sentiments about distance not weakening their bond. That resonates with me as an adult who doesn't have many opportunities to see my friends in person.

shinsou gets adopted by aizawa for the reason of your choice and now leaves with a fucking cryptid. this also kinda turned into siblings aizawa and shinsou. here's headcanons

aizawa sleeps, he does. it's just that shinsou has no fucking idea when that happens. he sees him sleep at school, sure, but he never sees him sleep in his actual bed or even on the couch.

I hc aizawa as autistic because did you look at this man so here are a couple autistic things he does :

he stims by meowing, purring (it's more of a weird rumbling he does in the back of his throat that can be slightly scary if it's the first time you see him do it), he makes BISCUITS and shinsou loves to joke about it and aizawa loves the jokes. he also plays with his hair a lot and bites his nails when he's stressed.

he actually masks a lot outside of his house, which is says actually makes him a really cool stealthy man but he's really just masking, which means he often gets the "you're autistic?? but you look so normal?" comment.

his special interests are cats and Yamada's radio show. he has three cats (salt, pepper and sugar) and never misses Put Your Hands Up radio. (when the special interest appeared around when he was 25, like 3 years after mic's show started, he panicked and thought Yamada would find it weird, but the dude obv was so fucking excited because his friend likes his show omg omg)

aizawa has learned a lot of social rules from necessity, because he's an underground hero and a teacher, but that doesn't mean he understands them. he also will not know ever if someone is trying to flirt with him or if someone is mad at him, however he will notice if someone's sad. he doesn't understand it either

back on track. aizawa likes to sing along to whatever music is playing, no matter what kind it is. man will sing along to fucking WAP and peace and love on planet earth in the same breath.

shinsou sings along too sometimes, but it's rare because he doesn't like singing in front of other people.

shinsou and aizawa can communicate telepathically. that's what other people think at least because there's no fucking way they're not.

they're honestly more like weird siblings than parent and child - they tried doing that, they really did, but it was too awkward.

shinsou is, neurodivergency wise, aizawa's opposite. it's almost funny how specific this is. aizawa is always sleepy. shinsou is never fucking capable of sleeping and always hyperactive, no matter how blank faced he looks (im just pushing my adhd shinsou agenda now). aizawa struggles to see how others feel (again apart from sad people) and shinsou is a fucking. empath or some shit. when aizawa wants to annoy shinsou he tells him he's an empath and when shinsou wants to annoy aizawa he tells him he's an empath this is what compatibility is. shinsou needs to be close to people, he loves touching and hugs, aizawa prefers being alone and will refuse any kind of physical contact unless it's to punch him, a kid he's helping needing comfort, or one of his students needing comfort. shinsou is ofc an exception as well and he will hug him if shinsou's noticeably in a bad mood.

it's hilarious how similar they look but how different they actually are.

in good kinda siblings fashion, they insult each other all the time, aizawa calling shinsou variations of trash raccoon child and asshole, and shinsou calling him old man or boomer if he really wants to make him tick. or asshole too.

they wouldnt die for each other but they very much would kill for each other

aizawa would punch a bitch for shinsou. he would also punch shinsou if needed /j

literally no one at school knows what their relationship is. what's wrong with them.

todoroki insists they're related and shinsou calls aizawa dad in class at some point just to see him lose his mind. he then vehemently denies it happens, which wouldn't work if aizawa was also acting like it didn't happen. todoroki is going insane.

remember how I said one of aizawa's special interests is Put Your Hands Up radio? by continuously infodumping on shinsou, he makes him hyperfixate on it too. shinsou hates him so much for it /lh

The Serpent Queen (Rachel Vogelman's bio)

Rachel was created to become a joke but became a cool-ass fixer instead. I was surprised by how many things I can tell about her, considering the fact that a major part of her shady affairs is still in a very WIP stage ksjdfhsjdfskjdhf

Anyway, enjoy your read:

Rachel was born as the second child in a rich corpo family, so her future was determined from the start: she should’ve become either a media, like her artist mother, or gotten her high place in some media holding her father had connection with. Well, Rachel had her own ideas, but she had to wait until she’d gotten a chance to make them real.

The Vogelman family was quite good considering their corpo lifestyle. Rachel’s father was a really chill guy who owned shares in some media corporation and could afford quitting the rat races. But her mother was both eccentric and hypercontroling, helicopting shit out of her kids’ lives, and quick to start a drama. So, sneaking and plotting quickly became a necessary skill for Rachel to have a bit of a normal life.

Esther Vogelman tried to force both of her kids into the artistic career, but they showed little talent and huge resistance, and even tho Rachel’s elder brother, Lenny, kinda followed family’s tradition by becoming a musical critic, she herself studied network and communication not as to end up as a cog of ‘Network News 54’. As soon as she could she signed a contract with ‘Arasaka’ and left New York for Night City.

[I do not determine what exactly she was doing for ‘saka because when I realized Rachel is not V and made her her own OC some of my friends wanted her as part of their universe, so she is officially a multiverse character with some Arasaka connection but not glued to Jenkins situation so corpo kids could have her too. So, this is official: if you want one more fixer in your book, come to Lele Park in Charter Hills and look for a tall twitchy woman with a cig in one hand and a can of ni-cola in another, consumed with whatever is happening on her smart glasses. She would be happy to work with you if you prove your worth]

During her Arasaka years Rachel sharped her skills of netrunning and intrigues, and made some useful connections with local mercs one of whom was Jackie Welles. They become quite close friends so when she ended up fired from Arasaka (why is this always happening ugh) he helped her to get back on her feet. First she was his partner, but she quickly realized that being Jackie’s pocked netrunner doesn’t suit her ambitions and decided to become a fixer.

She shared this idea with Jackie and he introduced her to Padre, who gave her a task which turned out to be quite a harsh lesson to learn. She ended up owning Padre a lot of money but the gained experience taught her a lot. She left Heywood and came back to Charter Hill where she used to live before her downfall, and there she found her niche.

Rachel became ‘a corpo-fixer’ as they called her on the streets, with her client base mostly consisting out of Charte Hill’s corporates. The skillest that helped her to survive the corporate world turned out to be useful on the bottom of life as well. She was slowly building her net of connection and gaining a reputation of the fixer who gets the job done.

She followed rules and regularly visited Wakako Okada to pass her some ‘gifts’. Wakako sensed Rachel’s potential to become big one day, but she was a wise and reasonable woman, so instead of seeing a competitor in her, she saw an opportunity. She offered Rachel protection which she politely refused, and gained even more of Wako’s respect. Also one of Rachel’s gifts was really special: she used her connection inside Arasaka to track down the person who ordered the murder of Wakako’s grandson a long time ago, and passed her this info.

Around the same time Rachel met her future partner, Meredith Stout. Meredith was clear from the start that this was going to be a one-night stand, and Rachel was totally ok with it, but to her surprise, a week after Meredith called her again. They stuck to this format of their meetings in hotels that did not ask for their IDs, but with time Rachel became obsessed with the idea to make Meredith hers. Every attempt to get closer was met with the fight, but eventually Rachel crawled under Meredith’s armor too.

They didn’t become a happy healthy couple though: a constant power struggle and irresolvable contradictions were their companions along the way. Rachel wanted a full commitment from Meredith, who kept their connection a secret and was harassing her partner saying she’s wasting her potential on the fixer bullshit instead of looking for a decent career opportunity.

Once they had a really nasty fight, Meredith accused Rachiel of having mommy issues (which was true) and insisting on full commitment only to impress her family. This was also true because after her downfall Rachel quickly realized that moving to the other end of the continent is not enough to escape her mother’s influence, and never told her family she was fired, crafting an image of perfect life in her social media.

So, Rach was really pissed and refused to message Meredith even after she disappeared for a week, but it turned out their fight had little to do with it. Wakako sent her protege a footage of Meredith being kidnapped.

Rachel hired the best merc she could find, a former partner of her dead friend, who made herself quite a loud name during the last months. V (in Rach’s ‘home’ universe it was Kou, of course) was on the verge of dying at that point but she owed Rachel a service, so she helped. Together they rescued Meredith and found out that the kidnapping was set up by her new assistant.

When Rachel was visiting Meredith in the hospital she passed her this info, but to her surprise Meredith decided to promote her assistant seeing a potential in them, and made some comment about how Rachel’s fixer shit got surprisingly useful again. It made Rachel finally realize that their relationship are stuck in this endless cycle and lead to nowhere, so she broke up with Meredith right there in the hospital, and decided not to hear panic in her voice when she called Rachel in a couple of weeks, the morning both of them woken up incompletely new world with Saburo Arasaka walking on Earth again.

The new world still needed fixers, so life went on. Rachel was fighting nails and teeth for her place on the Night City’s stage, and eventually she attracted the attention of the fixer’s queen herself. She didn’t like this alliance between the Lady of Westbrook and the so-called fixer from Charter Hill, so she tried to start a quarrel between them. Luckily they managed to survive and united even more.

Rachel was pissed, she wanted to strike back, but Wakako talked her out: this wasn’t the right time.

So, Rachel continued her biz. She eventually came out to her family, placing them in front of the fact that their kid is now a big figure in the city’s underworld, and if they had a problem with it she didn't give shit about it. She also came back to Meredith, but this time on new terms (I’m not joking about the terms, bitches had a whole ass dating contract which eventually became a marriage contract).

The tension between Afterlife and Westbrook was getting only worse, and it only needed a stone to start the avalanche. The stone came as a person of whom Rachel heard a lot but never met in person, but Wakako had ‘a pleasure to work with’. Goro Takemura came back to Night City in need of help, but by helping him the fixers helped themselves. They dug some dirt on Rogue and finally were ready to strike.

All this time Wakako was playing the humble old woman who has just enough money and power for her age, and ready to support a new figure to take her rightful place. Her act was so good that Rachel bought it, thinking she’s gonna be the next fixer queen of Night City. Alas it was not going to happen, during the stand Wako played her cards the way there was no such thing as a queen anymore, but a triangle of power between the biggest fixers of the city, bound by the compromising evidence, threats and services.

Rachel, of course, wasn’t happy with being outplayed, she couldn't do much to Wakako since she cared in advance about her safety. She might do something reckless but Meredith’s sarcasm cooled her head, so after some time Rachel and Wakako resumed their good relationship.

Life got fairly quiet for a while, but shortly after some notorious engramma in the new artificial body returned to Night City, Rachel was contacted by the most unexpected person. After some time required to built a mutual trust, she and Michiko Arasaka started to work on something they both called ‘the bird business’. It was a very long game that required a lot of small operations to be successfully completed and some major factor to appear on the stage, but the rogue AI ready to cooperate isn’t something you can order by delivery.

[The other events lead to THE BIG GIG but it’s something I’d rather talk about some other time. Also, Rachel eventually becomes Night City’s Mayor, because she deserved it.

- Low stress - Comedy as heck - literally feels like someone telling you a ghost story - AAAAAAAACTING!!!!! - there is a spider during the picnic scene THE CLASSIC! THE OG! MY FAV!!!! This was THE hallween movie to me as a kid- and now i completely get why! It's like watching a stage play where everyone LOVED every scene they were in- the vibes are spoooooky sometimes in an adorably camp way, and then charming and cozy the next! It has so much fun- there are so many lines that are memes to me- like ichabod THROWING himself into bed with "And if I......DIE... before I wake.... BRINGMEBACKTOLIFE!" and Katerina's eyerolling "....assuming I know the horse-" (it makes sense in context i swear) and and and the FUN of seeing Brom Bones 'crushing' a tankered angrily, acting out the strain of it, when you can clearly tell the prop is like, maybe the strength of a soda pop can XD.... But the best part is the stinger ending. How this whole story is ended with the sudden reveal of the REAL headless horseman (maybe?) and how THAT terrifying image is the last thing it leaves the watching kids with- it feels like that last jump scare at the end of a campfire ghost story, the hand reaching out to grab you for one final scream, and I love it. I love this whole thing so much.

If you DO want something spookier, but only in the atmospheric sense....

Whistle and I'll Come to You, also on archive .org - Slow building stress - Paranoia fuel - There is no way the main character is neurotypical (relatable) - a bedsheet ghost!!!!! YAY! - a few audio startlements but otherwise all gradual scares So this is based off a short story by an old not cool dead guy. It's about finding something in a grave and not heeding the warning label. I read the story years ago and was very pleased by the bedsheet ghost, the idea of feeling like Something Is Coming, and I can say that this adaption is... different, but does very good on setting up the vibes up until the ending. I'm bit let down by how the final bedsheet ghost turned out, and abrupt cut off to the story, but the vibes up till then is really fun to sink into. Some of the cinematography does a good job of making me aware of empty space, the feeling that Something I Can't See might also be in the frame. Spoooky.

Hi! Could I get a creepypasta match up please!

I am 5 foot...not very blessed in the height department unfortunately, I'm slim but well endowed in both upper and lower departments. I'm fairly light for being Hispanic (i don't go outside in the sun often) I have shoulder length hair, its currently red and has been red for a hot minute, but in the past it used to be shorter and a different color every other week. Like for two weeks I could have purple hair then BOOM it's yellow now. I have 21 piercings. I have two in the center of my eyebrows, two nostril piercings. One on each side, a septum. And snake bites. I used to have My bridge pierced but I took it out bc it was in the process of migrating:/m I have 26 tattoos. IT SOUNDS LIKE A LOT. But it's not..THAT many when you actually get a good look at my full body. Most of them are on my thighs, I have some on my back, I have chest tattoos and a wrist tattoo. All my tattoos are either witchy, satanic, or of pretty pin up women and fruit.

Personality wise. I'm not sure, I have adhd, autism and bpd. I can be loud and excitable but also REALLY quite, aloof and awkward. I am a very passionate person and I'm always doing something (or at least trying to) I love to learn new things, I love to talk, I love to listen but I also love to just sit in absolute silence sometimes. I hate the sound of people sneezing, idk why it just REALLY upsets me. I can be really nice and helpful but I don't like being taken advantage of. I don't like confrontation but I will stand up for myself and or my friends if it's truly necessary. I am very giving, if someone I care about was in need I wouldn't mind giving them the shirt off my back or the shoes I'm wearing...it's happened before too. I also love shopping. I may have a slight....shopping addiction. I also have a very strong sense of justice and respect, so you won't catch me doing anyone dirty, but I won't let anyone do me dirty and ill cut them off if they keep crossing the line. I'm very good at sniffing out snakes. And I try to warn people around me about fake people and they never believe me until shit hits the fan, and then they sit there like ":0 I didn't know" TF YOU MEAN YOU DIDNT KNOW I TOLD YOU!?

Style wise. I'm a bit all over the place, I've been in the alternate community since I was born. My dad was a metal head soo it kind of passed. But not really. Mental only stuck for so long. I tried scene, not my personal style but I loved the music. I was in the emo scene for a good couple of years until i started to hang out with the punk kids in my highscool, they were a little to much for me, activity wise though so it didn't last to long. But I found my home in the goth subculture and then from that point on, I explored the subcultures within that subculture. I tried nu goth, pastel goth, gothic lolita, trad goth. And none of them felt right, until I found gothabilly. And I find myself most comfortable in thag vintage style and the pin up style. My favorite brand (just so you can get an idea) is vixen by micheline pitt. My closet is just PURE black. With hints of black and white stripes and red.

I have many hobbies. I used to do tattoos on myself and my friends. I tried to get into piercing....it was a little too scary for me. I know how to make jewelry, I know how to paint, and draw. I know how to write, I love reading. I get too far down weird and obscure rabbit holes. I'm learning how to sew and I love it. I have a huge passion for fashion. And I want to start My brand one day. Even if it's small and for a niche group. I love to game, I love horror games especially, Outast is one of my favorite game series. I love horror period. Horror stories, movies, books. I love collecting specimens, like pinned bugs or mice in Jars. I have a small jar of bones. I love the dead. My favorite horror movie is either Saw or Scream. I also love watching indie disturbing horror movies as well. I'm a practicing witch, and I often use pendulums to communicate with. There was an old ghost of a woman who used to live in my apartment. She was cool sometimes but she messed with the doors and lights to much. I also used to collect dolls, specifically monster high dolls, but I wanted to branch out to haunted dolls...but then I thought mayybe that wouldn't be a good idea. I also love to cook and bake, and i love trying new food. I am also learning how to roller skate.

I don't like spiders though, which is ironic because I love spider web design and embroidery on my clothing. They just...look...ugly in. And their faces freak me out. I can't stand bad smells. I have a very very strong sense of taste and smell so I can be pretty sensitive around food and with bad odors. I don't like being woken up when I'm sleeping and I don't like being around loud obnoxious people.

Just for reference, I am afab nonbinary but present feminine to androgynous. I like both dudes and women and other NB people. My favorite creepypastas used to be Eyeless Jack, Bloody Painter, Jason the Toy Maker, the doll maker and the Puppeteer. I mean I liked ALL the pastas but they were my particular favorites

natalie is a very simple person, believe it or not. she's fairly blunt and isn't the type to bullshit a person so you don't have to worry about her taking advantage of you and your kindness. she's also really good at spotting snakes, so honestly you two could be a snake-sniffing duo and point out all the people you should avoid and whatnot.

she's an incredibly honest person as well and the type to never beat around the bush so if she wants to say something, she will say it.

she's a fairly emotionally reserved person so she doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve but when it's just the two of you, she lets her walls down a bit and she allows herself to relax a little.

she's more of a listener than a talker so she'll sit there and listen to you talk for hours. she doesn't mind sitting in silence either, because with you it's rather comfortable. but on the very rare occasion that she's the one doing all the talking, she'll definitely appreciate the fact that you're listening. it makes her feel seen in ways she could never describe.

natalie thinks you look good with any hair color, to be honest. i think in the beginning she was definitely a bit caught off guard by your spontaneous hair color changes but she gets used to it rather easily because it's just another part of you that she's fond of. she is just a bit concerned about your hair potentially getting damaged if you dye it too often but... she's not a hair expert, so. and honestly, she's thought about dying her hair as well, so. maybe you can recommend a color for her!

she also thinks you look wicked cool with your piercings and tattoos by the way. and she would absolutely love to hear about the meanings of your tattoos if any of them have one that you're willing to share with her.

she may not look like it, but natalie is pretty interested in fashion! she doesn't dabble in many styles herself because of various reasons but she is very interested in all of your own styles ranging from any goth and punk clothing you may own to the vintage and pin-up style you currently have going on.

if you asked natalie what her hobbies were she would probably just shrug and say, 'don't have any.' but trust me when i tell you that she does. she is so very much interested in deep diving into obscure topics and going down rabbit holes that she probably shouldn't go down because she loves learning about all the weird things buried underneath, hidden away from the average person.

honestly, you guys could probably make a date night out of deep diving into two separate topics and telling each other about it as you go. seems like it would be a pretty fun thing to do.

natalie doesn't particularly pay much attention to video games but she isn't against playing one or two if you recommend it to her! she's pretty invested in the things that you like, so she'll definitely play anything you recommend.

as for horror movies, natalie also probably doesn't give them much thought but trust me when i say she is a big fan of the saw franchise. i can see it now, you sitting her down to watch the saw movies and her just getting absolutely hooked and totally developing a crush on amanda young because honestly who doesn't. after the saw franchise, she's definitely more interested in horror than she was before and she'll probably sit down in her own time to watch some other movies just to talk about them to you.

always down to have her hair and nails done by you if you want to do them. she'll pay you as well, don't worry, just like... don't ask where she got the money because that would lead to a really awkward conversation probably. and she's also rooting for you to get into college to study fashion design!

so yeah anyways you guys would be a cute couple together and you'd have two cats and a rabbit named pumpkin or something and yeah.
