“Eye Spy… with my little eye… something beginning wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiith T”

“Is it tree?”

“God, how do you keep doing that?”

“That’s been your fifth tree in six rounds, Eddie.”

“There’s loads of trees!!”

Steve was driving, he’d taken the driver’s seat of the rental car, Eddie calling shotgun putting his parents in the back seat, which neither really minded as they still had a few things to work out that they’d put on the back burner to allow Steve and Eddie to take those middle seats on the plane.

“Okay my turn, eye spy, with my little eye, something beginning with… T.”

“Is it tree?”

Steve sniggered but shook his head no. “No it’s not tree.”

“Can I have a hint?”

“It’s black.”

“T and black… can I have another hint?”

“You only get two hints are you sure you wanna use it now?” It was actually quite cute how Eddie hesitated, hand lifting to his chin, fingernails caught on his bottom teeth. “Maybe try another guess?”

“T and black…” Eddie looked down, and around himself, there was nothing outside that fit the bill, so it had to be inside the car. “T… and black… it’s definitely black, and begins with T… Teeelevision?”

“Do you see a television?”

“No.”

“No, Eddie, it’s not a television” he clicked his fingers in disappointment, as if it were actually a plausible guess.

“Tuuuuuaardvark.”

“What the hell is a tuaardvark?”

“An aardvark with a Tu at the beginning.” Steve really was trying to focus on the road, but Eddie was so effortlessly funny that it was impossible not to laugh. “Okay gimmie the hint, and make it a juicy one. An I do mean juicy, it needs to rival your—”

“Eddie!”

“Your juicy personality, get thy glorious head and its voluminous hair out of the gutter, baby.” He got a quiet giggle out of Lynda with that one, both parents trying not to get involved. They had things to do, even a getaway had work involved.

“For that alone I’m only going to tell you that there’s a few of them.” But he was going to smile about it, because he couldn’t stop himself from smiling, it was just… to hard to not smile around Eddie. His enjoyment was as infectious as his happiness.

“Awh shit, I always knew I’d be my own undoing. Go on then, put me out of my misery.”

“You sure you don’t want one more guess?”

“Do you think that’d help?”

“I think if you really look you could get it.”

“God you have such confidence in me, where was this support when I was trying to graduate? Okay.” Eddie pulled his long legs up and awkwardly crossed them in his seat, eyes skimming the surrounding area, then dipping down, brows furrowed in thought. A black few things beginning with T… a black few things, beginning with T… Teeee tee-tee-tee-tee-teeeee…teeeeshirt?”

“No, it’s not T-shirt.”

“Shit. Okay, not T-shirt” he reached up his hand and scratched his cheekbone, and out of the corner of his eye— he gasped sharply and yelled, “tattoo!!”

“Ladies and gentlemen of the car, he’s GOT IT!” There was a polite round of applause from the back seat that Eddie turned back to bow to, hands clasped together in victory. “Ooh, we’re almost there, one more round I think, and don’t pick a tree.”

“Okay! Okay lemme think, let me think, leeet me…OOH, eye spy, with my little eye, something beginning with M.”

“It’s mole isn’t it?”

“GodDAMMIT!”

Eddie had no idea what to expect when they started their journey, he had no idea what their end result would look like, he had a vague idea that it’d probably be extravagant, and that maybe he wouldn’t like the look of it purely going off of the Harrington’s house back in Hawkins, that place looked cold.

It looked empty.

What sat nestled at the end of a long woodland driveway, was nothing like the Harrington House.

Sure, it was large, could probably fit a good few families in there with room to spare, but it was styled like a log-cabin, just, bigger. It was all wood undoubtedly farmed from the surrounding areas, natural stone work making up the foundation and the chimney probably mined from the mountains around them, and glass windows.

It looked… huge but still so cosy.

Like the inside would probably smell a little like Christmas and warm every inch of you just by standing in it.

“Okay,” Eddie turned around in his seat to look into the back, and really did try and school his tone into something as respectful as he possibly could manage “not to disrespect your house in Hawkins but why would you live there in that if you have this out here?” Hawkins was a shithole in Eddie’s opinion, it was full of backwards thinking angry church types with vendettas against fun and honestly nothing happened there.

The most exciting thing to happen in Hawkins in the history of ever, was when an owl attacked Eleanor Gillespie’s hair because it looked suspiciously like a nest.

They had no creepy ghost stories, no weird happenings, no strange people unless you count himself and maybe a few of the hellfire kids, maybe his bandmates, but it was boring. He wanted out. The only thing keeping him there was… well… his Uncle.

“It’s not ours” John answered as the car pulled to a stop outside of the slowly opening garage, the eldest Harrington putting his things back into his bag and unclipping the seatbelt. “It’s Steven’s.” And that wide-eyed stare was immediately switched from the elder Harrington’s to the youngest, the sheepishly smiling Steve.

“It belonged to my grandparents, or well… my grandpa. He left it to me in the will, but we’ve been coming here to spend time with them for years this is just… the second year now without either of them here.” They had a maintenance guy, or multiple guys on retainer who’d go in once every two weeks to keep the place clean, but other than that it remained empty. Eddie couldn’t stop himself from placing a comforting hand on Steve’s shoulder, expression softening, Steve shook his head though, “sorry, that just set a weird mood, let’s just… get inside and get settled, yeah? I’ll even let you pick our room.”

“Room as in… one room? For the both of us? That’s—that’s uhm” he looked back at the parents “that’s okay with you guys?”

“Sure, again it’s not our house.” And even if it was, both John and Lynda figured Steve would wind up in Eddie’s room anyway “we’d prefer it though if you picked one on the other side of the house to ours.” John opened the car door, catching Eddie’s attention again “we’ve been burned by those old wooden walls before.” And then he was out of the car, followed by Lynda who he helped climb out, leaving both men in the car alone while they made their way to the house.

Steve pulled forwards into the vacant garage, the door to shut behind them, and a light automatically switched on, replacing the darkness of the garage with a warm white light.

“They’re not the only ones who’ve been burned, trust me.” Steve shook his head with an amused smile as he cut the engine. “Is the one room okay, Eddie? It’s not like… crossing any lines with you, is it?” His parents weren’t there, they couldnt hear them, there was no reason to pretend, even if he did want to try and make it as realistic as possible as per Robin’s idea, he had to keep checking in with Eddie to make sure he was okay.

“No! No, no it’s okay… I’ve never… I haven’t really… shared a room with anyone before” only child, and Wayne had given him the only room in the trailer “is it like… a two bed situation or—”

“One bed, Eddie… one room, one bed, there’s only one room in that house with multiple beds in it and it’s full of bunk beds from when I was twelve an all the cousins used to visit around the same time… it might seem a bit weird if we pick that one.” He was going to be spending an entire week… sleeping in the same bed as Steve Harrington, in what was essentially a dream house nestled in the woods.

He was going to get used to it. He was going to get used to it all, and it was going to kill him to leave it all at the end of the week. It was going to destroy him to lose it all.

“Heh… maybe—maybe someday we could bring the kids up, they could stay in the bunk bed room” grin and bear it, maybe it’d all work out if he just… went with the flow. Wishful thinking usually went against the good ol Munson Doctrine, but… everything Steve had been doing since they first started their whacky plan had flown in the face of that stupid doctrine so… maybe deviating from it wouldn’t hurt as bad as it could if he just… went with it.

“I mean… we could force them to use the bunkbeds, an that could be pretty funny”

They probably wouldn’t be as psyched to stay in bunkbeds as they would have been back when they were all tiny, squishy middle schoolers, although it’d probably be easier to get their parents to agree to the trip now they were older.

“Payback for all the shit they’ve thrown at us over the years.”

“It’s like you’re in my brain.”

Greasy Johnson: a Red Herring?

This is a season 3 speculation post - you know not what to do with them

ok so i’ve fallen down a Greasy Johnson is Jesus rabbit hole and I love it - seems pretty plausible (here are some of of the pieces that sent me down here - Jesus 2.0 rides a Motorcycle Scooter , Greasy Johnson is Jesus, and Greasy Johnson in the book)

To summarize Greasy Johnson is the third baby in the swap who grows up near Adam and has kind of a “rival gang” who in the book is used as the reason why Adam finds a fight between two rivals ridiculous

plus you have the working title for the talked about sequel 668: The Neighbor of the Beast which more than likely is Greasy Johnson house and his thing with tropical fish - just a lot of things pointing to him being Jesus

But!! I want to talk about something a little different (and I can recognize this is probably just my want for Warlock to come back as someone important) because it was a choice not have him mentioned after the swap in the show.

What if Warlock is Jesus? Now just hear me out

If i’m following the swap right Warlock is our baby draped in blue and is the Young’s actual son

Now going back a bit I believe Heaven has been testing out aspects of what is said to happen in the Second Coming for a while now maybe as far back as 1827 but probably got close to right around 1941 and was just waiting for Hell to have the Antichrist and trigger Armageddon

and yknow for being an order of satanic nuns they sure do have a lot of Jesus on the Cross hanging around. why? - it’s almost like the were also meant to deliver him as well

So when Hell pulled their final card - so did Heaven

Now who was not meant to be there that night and messed everything up - the Young’s and their baby, Warlock - it’s almost like it was a divine intervention. And like I said earlier Warlock is our baby draped in blue (like Jesus) and our Ace card (ace up their sleeve anyone?)

Greasy Johnson was apart of Hells plan and set up - Warlock was not

also he has traveled the world because of the Dowling’s work before being tempted by Hastur which he denies

and the whales and dinosaurs we see in his room - you got your mothers humor don’t you?

and he is the only one who has to make a return to the UK - the plane in the opening sequence

what about Greasy Johnson and the neighbor of the beast though? that seems to be a pretty great fit and I agree - he is going to be the reason the swap is discovered and they all get together again - whatever that reason may be (*cough*dying*cough*)

and not mentioning him further in season one allows for him to come in as a completely new character and story that we get to follow around with points in his life pointing towards him being Jesus - as a distraction for the characters and for us

but where does Aziraphale come into this and why does the Metatron need an angel of his talents? - Heaven has also lost its card(baby), the trick worked a little too well and there are still two children to choose between, if they could find them - and Aziraphale, who has shown is apt at finding and identifying the Antichrist and knows Earth better than any angel, is just the being for the job

I recognize this is a lot of speculation and this is just kinda just a crack theory but it wouldn’t leave me alone so I’d thought I’d share

and mostly I think it’d be funny that in thinking they were raising the Antichrist they were actually raising Jesus Christ

(but also it would fit a lot of the headcannons floating around. Jesus being a right terror? check. Them raising Jesus? already did that. Trans!Jesus? remember all those trans!warlock headcannons. Jesus having a mentor relationship with Crowley? the demon raised Warlock. Going out for a drink? Warlock would an adult now by the time season 3 comes out and they keep following that the events in the show are happening at the present time it comes out trend - just on and on)

Hi have this absolute crackpot of an AU my delirious 4:00 AM brain came up with where Micolash fulfills the role of the Plain Doll. Doodles+rambling below the cut \o/

Imagining him saying “Ah, good hunter” has been killing me for the past 30 minutes

In all honesty I have no idea where any of this came from, I think I just wondered what it would’ve been like if Insight was the loose stat that does not progress the story, and Beasthood/Blood became the story-dependent stat. That brought up the possibility of Laurence and Gehrman communicating with Kos rather than MP, and THAT made me think “what if Laurence got whisked away like he was supposed to, instead of Gehrman taking the fall for him?”

Since the doll looks like Maria and not Laurence, I figured if Laurence were in Gehrman’s place, his doll wouldn’t resemble Gehrman. So I started wondering who else would fit the role AND. YEAH. Then I just went insane from there. In this AU, moon presence would be dead(maybe “washed up” in the field of asphodels rather than the beach?) and Yahar’gul would fulfill Yharnam’s role (since it’s the more insight-heavy area, so there’s be Old Yahar’gul and New Yahar’gul lmao). I think Kos would take an arm rather than a leg thanks to the placement of the Kos Parasite, but I still drew Laurence in a wheelchair because I imagine after a certain point he’d lose the energy/mobility to walk due to an unclean cut and eldritch shenanigans.

I like to think that while Gehrman has the know-how to create the doll and MP gave it life pygmalion style, if Laurence were in his position, he would 1. Not know how to do that and 2. Not create Micolash anyway. So I thought it’d be funny if Kos just dumps him in the dream like “hey I heard you were upset, here’s something that’ll make you more upset” because Great Ones don’t understand human feelings. Kos thinks having a curious doll that can’t be killed is a gift, but obviously Laurence would Have Issues with seeing his old academic rival who died horribly just be “Brought Back But Wrong” like that. Perhaps Lady Maria and her research patients would be a really big deal and Micolash+The School of Mensis would have been the first “faction” to die in this AU. I haven’t exactly marked out who “”swaps”” with who since there are quite a few characters who dabble in both Blood AND Insight, so their biases are hard to figure out(maybe Rom would fulfill Carylls role and you’d get to fight an ascended/beastified Caryll, The Byrgenwerth Runesmith?) idk!

This is all just silly half-asleep “hey what if”s and “oh this would be goofy to draw”s so obviously I’m just tossing ideas around. And doodles! I’m tossing doodles around too :,) okay goodnight

new au time. i am insane. thoughts under the cut!

street racing au time!! i know i said i would talk more about children of the storm but i couldn’t help myself ok?? i call this the 'ninja go fast au' hkjefhjks

THIS AU!! LIVES RENT-FREE!! IN MY BRAIN!! heres the stitch: within the depths of ninjago city, there are two rival street racing groups (gangs? troops? whatever) who are constantly trying to one-up each other. the first group is ‘the wu-crew’ (jay came up with the name), which consists of kai (co-leader), nya (co-leader), cole, jay, and zane. they are ‘managed’ by wu (codeword for he pays for everything and manages the garage), who used to be the co-leader of another well-known street racing crew with his brother, who he barely speaks about for reasons unknown. speaking of who! garmadon manages the wu-crew’s rival team: the garmadorks. this team consists of lloyd (co-leader), morro (co-leader), harumi, akita and brad. I genuinely think these guys would make a killer group together, the shenanigans that would ensue of them being in the same room would be INCREDIBLE. 

moving on! to clarify some of the world-building, there are no elemental powers or dark magic or whatever the heck. this au is set in a modern au, except maybe a few years into the future so that everyone is a bit older in this au.

ok! time for some important character stuff (I will not be covering all 10 main characters cuz I wanna keep this a bit short! you can always send an ask my way if you wanna know smth abt a specific character :D).

zane is still a nindroid in this au, except he’s called a ‘droid-racer’. he was created by doctor julien and wu as an experiment and they eventually got pretty attached to him emotionally. 

lloyd and brad met early on in this au,, they met in their old boarding school, and continued to keep in touch after they graduated (YES lloyd graduates darkley’s in this au! I think that’d be funny af).

nya and kai grew up in a very racing-centred environment because their parents were racers themselves! they learned to drive before they turned of legal age, but only got into street racing when they were 19-21. 

I made nya and kai the co-leaders because this is primarily a kai-centric au (if you couldn’t tell), and I think it’d be interesting to see how they would work together to manage a team.

jay grows up with his birth parents in this au! I couldn’t leave ed and edna though so they can be like his aunt and uncle or something. because cliff gordon is a famous actor, his family is very well off, but still pretty close. I just thought it’d be funny if he was a nervous wreck when he first joined the team cuz he doesn’t want his parents to find out their baby boy is in danger.

morro and lloyd are COUSINS!! of course they are! morro can have some angsty beef with his adoptive father wu for PLOT REASONS!! he ran away from home and met harumi on the streets, who had also run away from home. he invited her to join him as he searched for his uncle garmadon, and they both joined the garamdon family :)

tbh i think bkg meeting his s/o at a meet n greet is a bit unlikely but not impossible !!

his meet n greets come a little more rare than other pro-heroes so you know the lines going out the door but the particular meet n greet happened with a few other heroes when u two met

it’d be at one of the few meet n greets he’s forced to attend along with other heroes but a good amount of people that show up are mostly there for him cause it happens so rarely that it’s become a once in a lifetime opportunity

you’d probably catch his eye and i think it’d be funny if it was because of your shirt which obviously supported deku instead of him

and he gets so impossibly competitive for that and somehow it’d turn into flustering you, realizing what he did, and then end up being flustered himself (and a little embarrassed cause everybody is watching)

but your relationship would start later that evening when you end up not having a ride, and thank god you covered up ur shirt with some other hoodie or else he probably would’ve gotten grumpy at the sight of you and not given you a ride home

that ride home turns into paying him back, then exchanging numbers, until eventually he does find himself falling for rival’s fan and vise versa

(bonus: you actually were a bigger fan of him and ran one of the biggest dynamight fan pages)

So turns out. I do have thoughts, a couple of them. They’ll be under the cut.

Alright so this is not actually your request since he technically is not a Jedi anymore. I do not think he’d stick to the Jedi and I like him being more or less without a faction/building his own faction even as a light side user. The main reason being of course his obsession with Kenobi as well as criticism towards the order itself. I assume him leaving/being cast out was a mutual decision.

How did he get to that point… I think maybe they pulled a Quinlan Vos on him and tasked him to basically assassinate Obi-Wan before they were… entangled with each other. Well, he fails, gets cut in half, probably a bunch of innocents die, he survives, the order finds and rebuilds him, he is obsessed. Ends up walking his own path… which also includes revenge.

However being more of a type of an antihero, not fully falling to the dark side. I do believe he cares a lot about other people’s lifes, them being part of the reason he is so focused on Kenobi in the first place.

I want him to get hold of and keep Kenobi’s lightsaber at some point in time, integrating it in his own new one. Just because I think it’s funny. It’d piss Kenobi off, and it’s Maul’s personal goal to be the thickest thorn in his eye.

In the picture above I picked Agen Kolar as Maul’s Master, showing up, more accidental (the force) than intentional, right when Maul was just getting force choked by Kenobi. He had already left the order so they have not seen each other in a long while.

Regulus Black. Him with his stupid respected family, his dumb grey eyes which were framed by long lashes I most definitely hadn’t counted in my head while staring at him before, his full pink lips which weren’t at all kissable. Definitely not. Worst of all about him, his perfect grades which were always butting heads with my own. Our rivalry hadn’t been spoken of between us, but it didn’t need to be said it was obvious.

I looked away rather quickly, perhaps too quickly because I heard the rare sound of, can you believe it, a chuckle. Regulus chuckled. My cheeks would have flushed if it wasn’t Regulus, my not sexy at all rival. I shrugged it off, rolling my eyes, paying attention to class.

I didn’t think of it again until later on that afternoon. I had free period and decided to do some reading on herbology in the library as we had an upcoming test of sorts. I’d already pulled out a few books when I noticed Regulus at the corner table hidden by the stacks I normally sat at. I thought back to him laughing at me earlier, a rush of heat flooding my cheeks. I really wanted to sit in my usual spot, but I knew he’d be distracting.

I sat there anyway, choosing the chair across from him and opening one of the books to immediately start reading, refusing to look at him. Every other flip of the page or so I could feel his eyes on me but whenever I’d look up he was also reading. He happened to be reading a book on Herbology as well, it was in fact one of the books I’d needed but couldn’t find on the shelves.

He must have seen me staring at his book because he cleared his throat causing my eyes to immediately flit to his own stormy grey ones. “See something interesting, did you?” His voice was cold, but low. So low in fact it sent a rush of warmth to my center. I averted my eyes, feeling the flush climbing from my neck to my cheeks.

“No,” I squeaked out, pausing to try and collect myself. “I just need that book, but I couldn’t find it earlier. Could I have it once you’re done?” I grounded myself, forcing my eyes up to his once again. He smirked, but it wasn’t his usual cold mocking smirk, I couldn’t quite pinpoint what exactly it was. All I knew is it made my already flushed skin darken. “How badly do you want it?”

Oh my.

I felt my eyes widen as an immediate reaction, and I once again looked away. “It just has the most information on the subject that’ll be on the test in Herbology..” I winced at my voice crack, lowering my gaze to where his pretty ringed fingers tapped against the book cover. He chuckled again, for the second time today. What the fuck.

“That’s precisely why I’d grabbed it, I was planning to keep it for a few days but,” He paused placing a finger right beneath my chin and lifting it so I’d be eye to eye with him. He had gotten extremely close in the few moments I’d looked away. “I’m sure we could work something out.”

I was quiet for a few moments, until I finally managed to squeak out a few words. “What do you want?” He smirked again, his sharp canines biting gently into his lip.

“Guess.”

“Me to let my grades drop lower than yours?”

“Hmm that’d be nice too, then I wouldn’t feel so annoyed when teachers praise you for your work rather than mine, but no. Guess again.”

“Test answers?”

He let out a loud laugh at that one, a genuine laugh.

“That’s funny love, no. One more guess.”

“I, I really don’t know Regulus, I thought it’d be grades related considering our weird rivalry.”

Silence again. Until he laughed again.

“I can have better grades than you without you worsening your own. What I want, is something much more appealing.” He stated looking me up and down, a lustful look in his eyes. Oh. Oh. Was I willing to do all of this for a book? I shouldn’t even be considering doing this, it’s Regulus. Regulus with his pretty grey eyes surrounded by long pretty lashes. Regulus with his pretty pink lips that I’d imagined kissing dozens of times. Fuck it.

“Me?” I murmured questioningly even though I knew it to be correct, his eyes bore into mine, them crinkling a bit as he smiled. “Good girl.” Before I knew it his lips were on mine, strangely enough they molded together so well you’d think they were made for each other. I pushed the thought aside as his tongue prodded my lips apart, battling my tongue for dominance which was immediately given to him. They danced together for a bit before he pulled away hesitantly, a thin line of spit connecting our tongues.

It wasn’t for long however, as he yanked me from my seat, and lifted my thighs to the table. His mouth immediately traveling to my bare neck, placing open mouthed kisses which quickly turned into harshly sucking on the soft skin. I accidentally let a moan squeak out before slapping a hand over my mouth, he responded by immediately pulling my hand away from my mouth, pressing a soft kiss to my palm as he said, “Don’t cover up your noises love, they’re fucking adorable.”

Not giving me time to respond, he pressed a closed mouth kiss to my lips, it feeling sweeter than the kisses before. He gave a testing pull at my bottoms, I nodded giving him the go ahead to pull them off. He did so quickly, immediately kneeling in between my thighs, looking up at with what could only be described as a breathtakingly gorgeous sight. His eyes were lidded and blown out with lust, his cheeks flushed a dark red, his lips apart with little strings of saliva gliding down his chin. Please tell me about the deltarune pokemon au. I wanna know about the teams

apologies this took me a bit to put together, i have had a Night LOL

this started as just a thing i like to do for a lot of fandoms where i make a handful of pokemon teams for characters, but it’s kind of expanded into its own concept in my head now X) i’ve been watching a lot of pchal’s videos lately and so my image for a full project with this au would likely be a romhack but i doubt it’ll ever actually get made lmao 

basically, you play as kris still in it. they’re beginning their journey as a pokemon trainer a couple years after their brother asriel left on his own. almost all of their party will depend on what the player catches, but they have a starter honedge (can fully evolve it) that you cannot remove from the party. honedge is a fun choice to me because it doubles as both the knife they have in the light world and their weapon being a sword in the dark world.

susie, ralsei, noelle, and berdly are rivals. the latter two are more of the professors assistant (professor is alphys probably) type rivals, though- berdly in particular would focus on filling up his pokédex and would brag about all the pokemon he’s caught. susie is your traditional asshole rival and ralsei your friendly one. the idea i have for noelle is that she is like… a walking glitch cause, lmao. i always loved watching pokemon glitch compilations when i was little and think its a really fun idea for her. it could start with small things- like, a scene in the school where the curtains turn black when she enters and go back to normal when she leaves, up until she starts getting some REALLY weird shit like the bad egg in her party. unsure what exactly the climax would be for that but i think it’ll be really fun to mess with haha

i think that each chapters main boss would be leaders of their own evil team. i could see it like… king leader of team spade and queen leader of team cyber, maybe? rouxls could be a team spade admin (and maybe lancer i initially didn’t think of that but the idea of there being a like 8 year old as an evil team admin makes me lose it) and swatch & tasque manager as team cyber admins.  unfortunately being rouxls brained means i’ve thought quite a bit for him in this au lmao, i think it’d be funny if he was a former member of basically every evil team imaginable but just kept getting kicked out for being incompetent 😭

as for the teams, i currently have

kris with their starter honedge

susie with a final team of hydreigon, hydrapple, druddigon, tyrantrum, scrafty, and toxtricity. all funny lizards, lol. in particular, hydreigon was chosen for a few reasons- one, i’m biased because the deino line is one of my favorites, but also because the progression of deino and zweilous having their eyes covered, the whole ravenously hungry thing, and all that fit susie very well imo. hydrapple was also chosen specifically because of the whole apple thing she has with kris.

ralsei has an umbreon, absol, altaria, cacturne, comfey, and zoroark. i initially wanted to give him a mono dark team but felt altaria and comfey fit him better than my previous picks. umbreon is a cute dark type with a fluffy prevo, absol is a fluffy dark type and i feel that its whole omen of disaster thing fits nicely with ralsei delivering the prophecy, altaria is fluffy + the whole soothing song thing fits well with ralsei’s pacify spell, cacturne looks like his hat lol, comfey is a healer and has the flowers thing like that one fuckass fangamer shirt i think about constantly, and zoroark is fluffy and ralsei himself has his whole mimicry thing going on.

noelle has an alolan ninetales, sawsbuck winter form, venusaur, azumarill, kabutops, and mew. alolan ninetales was chosen because she needs at least one ice type lmao, sawsbuck because Winter Deer, venusaur because a lot of glitch Pokémon will default to using bulbasaur’s sprite due to it being first in the dex, azumarill both because of the transgender marill glitch and the pikablu rumors pre gsc, and kabutops because one of the sprites that missingno can use in gen 1 is a fossil resembling it, and mew because Mew Under The Truck. i really want her team to be mostly themed around glitch/playground runor stuff but i'm a bit worried that these picks aren’t that recognizable/don’t make as much sense for her because of that 😅

rouxls has a leavanny, vivillon (polar), frosmoth, larvesta, dunsparce, and orthworm. leavanny has the Sewing/Caretaker thing as well as being an early bug evo, vivillon polar form in particular looks like him and is an early bug (easy to get), frosmoth is shiny and is a friendship evo meaning it doesn’t take much effort to evolve, larvesta is little worm, dunsparce is worm adjacent and has the whole “useless silly thing” going on as well, and orthworm is big silly worm. i tried to only chose evolutions that wouldn’t require a lot of effort, which is why larvesta and dunsparce are both unevolved. additionally, i didn’t actually realize this til i was sharing the team with gummy and it pointed it out, but he has a couple friendship evos, which is just always fun when evil team members have those lol.

lancer has a gastly, spheal, voltorb, gible, galarian darumaka, and munchlax. silly and round….

the rest i don’t have full teams for yet, but have some sort of idea for

i want king to have a mono dark team, particularly of more imposing pokemon. i currently have him down with a pangoro, obstagoon, and tyranitar. i really want to give him a guzzlord but im unsure how to be able to justify him having an ultra beast in universe haha. maybe the fountains could be like ultra wormholes and each main boss could have one?

queen has an electivire because. wires lol. and also a tsareena because queen pokemon + kick attack + i like it a lot that’s always been one of my favs lol

swatch has a smeargle, staraptor, porygon 2, indeedee, and spritzee (thank you jay for helping me with the last one lol). i still feel like im struggling a bit to find a real direction for their team though :p

i think it would be funny if tasque manager had a team full of luxray but im unsure how much im willing to commit to it lol

in theory i want berdly to be a bird trainer, but he could also fit well with other pokemon like alakazam for his smart boy gimmick. unsure what direction to go for him as well

ah, also! i think it would be very funny if jevil, spamton, and any other secret bosses had their own weird mechanics for fights, but im unsure exactly what. my first thought was jevil’s fight locking you into hardcore nuzlocke rules and spamton trying to steal your pokemon throughout the fight but the first feels a bit too morbid and the second im unsure how that would actually work so XD will probably go for something different there lol. also reminds me, i think it would be fun for the shopkeepers to still be shopkeepers, and each sell different items like tms or held items used for competitive play!

It's two days into the summer break and I'm already going through vroom vroom withdrawals, so I re-read Seven Years then decided to nitpick season 5 of DTS. Seven Years is so stuck in my head (especially with last weekend's ass grab) that I started to wonder how Christian and Toto's relationship would affect DTS. Would there be a full episode about their relationship? Would they be more included in each other's episodes? Would Netflix try to get footage of the two acting like a couple? The only guarantee is that Tumblr would be analysis every interaction between the two because we already do that.

Also, I use Microsoft Edge over google so I thought you might find this funny.

ohhh this is such an interesting take!

personally i didn’t make dts a thing in seven years because i just didn’t want to deal with the mess of it. it adds a whole other layer of emotional clusterfucks of being exposed to the wider public (outside of the f1 bubble even), even more cameras following them around the paddock, mic-ed up 24/7. there is a snippet i started writing after the whole “change your fucking car” business that i couldn’t even finish because the whole thing was so messy and i could not come up with a proper way to solve this because i was so embarrassed for them lmao.

but let’s walk for a second. let’s say their involuntary outing happens and dts are around for it all, i do think netflix would be a perfect vessel to promote lgbtq+ visibility and rights in motorsports and both pr teams would jump at the chance. obviously an outing like this is a huge fuck up marketing wise, nothing was planned, no one was prepared for it so they’d need to act quick and with netflix around, they’d have the perfect opportunity to angle the narrative any way they want. plus for netflix it would obviously mean Millions. everyone and their mother would watch the new season.

not sure they’d have a full episode. don’t think christian or toto would agree to this during some of the worst moments of their lives lol and in seven years i tried my best to not glorify or romanticise a shitty situation like being outed by someone else against your will. but i do think they’d both still want to be on dts, they enjoy the spotlight and the attention too much. in my mind they’d both show up to their netflix interviews smirking, a little ala “look at you and your lil cameras, i had a secret you couldn’t even imagine being true, you only know the things i choose to tell you, i’m in charge here”. to me that’s kind of a power move. i also think certain questions would simply be blacklisted so all we’d get would be ambiguous layered eye-twinkling comments about the rival team principal while touching their wedding rings. “oh toto slammed that desk *eye roll* yeah he’s so emotional *smirk*” or “christian has a big mouth, don’t believe everything he says, i don’t” or “singapore last year? yeah i think…. i think we won. did we? can’t remember, i was a little busy” but they don’t ever talk about singapore directly.

post outing i don’t think we’d get much husband material on dts. i tried very hard to write them as being private about their relationship and i still think that rings true, even post outing. there were instances where i thought it’d be significant and meaningful to them as a couple to show their support for each other a little more publicly (or maybe just a little less secretively) but those moments were about them more so than an act for the public or the cameras. in my mind they wouldn’t walk hand in hand through the paddock just because they can, not mid season on a thursday morning anyway. they’re professionals and they’re at work. but it’s a different thing when a netflix camera zooms in on them through a window and they’re having a quiet lunch tucked away in some corner of rb hospitality, or a brush of hands or a discreet smile when they pass each other somewhere and a camera is around to pick up on it.

so that’s my take! the most interesting angle to me though is how the public perception suddenly changes from seeing them as individuals to seeing them as a unit. it rewires your brain from “oh these two are fun, they hate each other” to “oh these two….. don’t hate each other. in actuality they…. they seem to love each other enough to be…. husbands. huh”

Silver x Vil:

One that I haven’t heard before, but strangely I can see it! Both of them are canonically considered beautiful, for one, and while that is fairly superficial, we love to see pretty boys winning. The more I think about it, the cuter it gets. I can see Vil being exasperated at Silver a lot, with things like Silver’s hair routine(??? I’ve only heard about this one, but apparently he only uses soap?? Idk, but Vil’s definitely fixing that immediately) and Silver’s narcolepsy. The thought of them sitting on a bench or something and Silver falls asleep with his head resting on Vil’s shoulder, and Vil just looks at Silver with a soft smile like- ugh.

Che’nya x Trey:

Classic childhood friends to lovers. I feel like their personalities clash in a very fun way with Trey’s more chill big brother attitude and Chenya’s chaotic and fun attitude. I don’t have many thoughts other than it’s very cute. I like 👍

Epel x Sebek:

I feel like I’d be crucified by one of my mutuals if I didn’t say I liked them…(/silly)

But fr tho, they are very cute! It may not be my favorite Epel ship, but I do see the vision! I don’t have much to say, other than I find them very cute and I love them, very good 👍

Sebek x Vil:

To be completely honest, I’m not usually one to ship the freshman with the juniors, not cause I find the age gap that bad, it’s just two years, but just cause none of the pairings I really see? It’s just not my thing for the most part, and that includes this one. To give it a fair chance, I can see the dynamic of Sebek being loud and impolite often times and Vil wanting to correct that, but that’s more platonic to me. Kind of like Epel and Vil but with a different flavor lol

Sebek x Deuce:

I’ve never seriously considered these two as a pairing, but I can see it being really cute! Their main interaction in Deuce’s gym uniform vignette was very funny and I think it’d be fun to expand on that kind of domestic kind of thing? Outside of that it’s still very cute tho. I can see it, not my favorite pairing, but I can see it!

Sebek x Silver:

Not my thing. I like to see these two as brothers, and although I can see the dynamic of a sort of childhood friends/rivals to lovers thing, the brothers aspect is too big for me to like this ship

Vil x Rook:

I love them. They <3 Beauty queen x the person who worships the ground they walk on. They’re just so good. I love

Rin -> funny enough I actually headcannon that Rin starts a rival D&D club after trying to join Edgar’s table. She thought it’d be fun. Anyhow, she’s usually DM but on the rare occasion the group’s playing a one-shot, Rin’s often a barbarian. Though she’s dabbled with fighters and warlocks, barbarian is the only one that really sticks xD I think she really enjoys playing a character that’s just allowed to feel, who’s allowed to use and acknowledge intense emotions to the team’s benefit rather than their detriment, if that makes sense? When it comes to campaigns, she leans more towards ‘dungeon’ mechanics (<- ie getting quest after quest with less importance on fleshing out a character/role play) over anything else! (Also: she is a dice-hoarder, what can she say? Dice are pretty)

*Rams -> really wanted to play D&D but couldn’t find time for it… now, xe would join a campaign (if offered) but doesn’t go out looking for one. Out of all my MCs, co’d be the most open to other ttrpgs though just know co will almost always be the healer. In D&D, ze splits between cleric and druid with a mean lean towards druid. Rams is very much a roleplayer, ze doesn’t mind lots of battles but they take last priority to really getting in character and playing out a story.

Fiona -> I think he plays on the off chance if he happens to have the time + the energy. Like, you might find him wandering into a dice store and dropping in on a game every couple of months. But also, Fiona is the type whose character is a self-insert. The only difference between Ivo and Fiona is that Ivo is a traveling bard and, arguably, Fiona is not. I’d say, Fiona tends to prefer non-homebrew campaigns because 1) they are familiar and he can really focus on knowing his party members even if for just one night and 2) homebrew campaigns make him feel more bad about not being a consistent party member. (Also: only has the beginners’ pack blue dice)

Jiahao -> never played. Would play to satisfy her curiosity if a friend really wanted her to play with them. If she did ever play, his character would be a rogue. Like fallen noble turned crooked criminal type!

*Wanted to add: in Rams’ universe, there’s a D&D equivalent called Immortal Realms in which the BOLAS characters are part of a pre-made campaign kit

Slimeriana Top Gun AU

okay so surprisingly, people are interested in this AU so here it is - it’s only half-baked for now so details may change in the future (: hope you enjoy

I’m having the most problems with names/callsigns so if you have any ideas please reblog or send an ask!

the cast would look something like this:

naturally Charlie and Mariana are Maverick and Iceman, since I love icemav and also they fit into the roles so well. Charlie is Mav, the reckless pilot who doesn’t care about the rules and needs his RIO to keep him in check. Mariana is Ice, stickler to the rules who considers Slime dangerous, and is his rival for the Top Gun trophy

I’m putting Jaiden as Charlie’s RIO, bc I really like their friendship [: she gives me Goose vibes (and he's my fave so !!) and it would make so much sense to make Roier Jaiden’s husband with Bobby as Bradley but I really want Roier to be Mariana’s RIO. The other option for Mariana’s RIO would be Missa since I think the two of them hang out on the server? but I also want to make Missa Spreen's RIO. we’ll see

I’m thinking of making Osito and Pato the instructors - Osito “Cucurucho” as Jester, the instructor who plays the enemy during hops; and Pato “Duck” as Viper, the other instructor. I think it’d make more sense than putting other players as instructors, since the only other person I can come up with as an instructor is Quackity

and I actually want to make Alexis “Quackity” a pilot, in place of Hollywood. His RIO would be either Wilbur “Soot” or Luzu “I have no idea for a callsign” - I’m not really sure yet. 

the plot would be very similar to the movie - naval pilot Charlie “Slime” and his RIO Jaiden “Jay” are picked for TOPGUN, after a meeting with two hostile MiGs causes the previous pick for the program, Spreen “Bear”, to resign. yes, they still flip the MiG off while inverted like Mav did in the movie bc i love that scene

there will be no romantic relationship between Rubius (in the role of Charlie) - the civilian contractor and Slime. They’re good friends, but no romance

so instead of Rubius, Slime meets Osvaldo “Mariana” and his RIO Roier “Spider” at the bar the day before the first day of classes. There is no serenading but Jaiden introduces them because they went to flight school together. Slime and Mariana immediately establish a rivalry since Mariana was friends with Spreen and blames Slime for Spreen resigning. Charlie decides Mariana is hot as fuck and falls for him on the spot - he’s into this rivalry stuff lmao; Mariana notices Slime is his type but 1. he’s too dangerous, and 2. getting the Top Gun is more important

Charlie spends the whole time flirting with Mariana but nothing happens until Slime abandons Q in the air to go after Pato during Hop 19; Mariana is all pissed off at Charlie’s recklessness and corners him in the locker room after the hop. they get into an argument and Charlie kisses Mariana to shut him up

they Do Not start dating, I’m thinking something like rivals with benefits - they sabotage each other during classes and try to sneak away from the group during outings at the O-Club to make out. Unfortunately for him, Mariana falls in love with Charlie, how can he not? Slime is an excellent pilot, brilliant and funny. He wants to tell Charlie before a hop where they are paired together but he doesn’t have time and they put it off until after the flight. Yes fellas, it’s Hop 31 and so

Chapter 5: I’m Proud of You

Hiya everyone, I’m so sorry it’s taken so long to get this chapter out, the muses haven’t been very cooperative lately. But i finally managed to get them to work hehe 😁! This chapter came out less Astelle and more…family orientated 😅, which hadn’t been my intention, but in the next chapter there’ll be a lot more Astelle moments 😁! I hope you all enjoy~!

Asta sighed loudly as he tried to fix his neck tie, he was far from good at these sorts of things, and it was only made worse because he was so nervous. Today was probably one of the most important days of his life; it was his wedding day.

He could have swore it was just yesterday that he had asked Noelle to marry him, but when he looked at the date he realized it had been well over a year since he asked her! Asta nearly laughed, the two had been pretty busy with missions and Asta finding out that he was in the running to be the next Wizard King.

Asta jumped as he heard someone knock on the door, he took a deep breath.

“ Come in,” he said as he watched the door in the mirror, he sighed as his foster brother/rival/best friend Yuno walked in and began to chuckle. “ It’s not funny Yuno!”

“ I don’t know, I think it’s pretty funny to see you struggling with something as simple as a tie.” Yuno said with another chuckle, Asta began to grumble as Yuno walked over and began to fix his tie.

“ You’re one to talk! I remember how nervous you were before your wedding day, your hands were shaking as bad, if not worse, than mine!” Asta pointed out, he watched Yuno’s pale cheeks suddenly turn pink as he recalled the memory.

“ Which wedding day? If you recall, I had two.” Yuno also pointed as he continued to try and undo the mess that Asta had created with his tie.

“ You know exactly which one! Your real wedding, y’know, the one that took place a year ago in exactly the same church!” Asta shouted, Yuno winced slightly before shaking his head.

“ I don’t remember that.”

“ You liar! You remember, you just don’t like how embarrassing it was!” Asta shouted, which caused Yuno to sigh and shake his head.

“ Will you two shut up?! I’m trying to get ready myself y’know!” Liebe suddenly shouted from behind Asta, the two looked and saw the chibi sized devil trying to fix his shirt and suit jacket.

As Yuno continued trying to fix Asta’s tie the foster brothers fell into silence, both nervous but for very different reasons. Finally, after much battling, Yuno was able to fix the bow tie Noelle had picked out for Asta.

“ There, it looks good on you…surprisingly.” Yuno said as he took a step back, Asta frowned.

“ What’d you mean? Of course it’d look good on me, my wife picked it out you jerk!” Asta shouted and Yuno chuckled a bit.

“ I dunno, that wife of yours tends to either hit or miss with her fashion sense.” Liebe said deadpan, and Asta turned and looked at him.

“ Hey that’s my wife you’re talking about!” Asta shouted, of course the three knew that Yuno and Liebe were only kidding about Noelle and her fashion sense.

“ Technically she isn’t your wife yet,” Yuno pointed out as he crossed his arms. “ You’ve still got to walk down the aisle and say ‘I do’ before that happens.” He added which made Asta snort.

“ That didn’t stop you from doing the same thing with Neva.” Asta muttered which made Yuno blush as Liebe laughed at the two.

The group fell into silence again as Asta straightened his jacket, Yuno couldn’t help but look at him fondly. While the ash-blonde haired man was still loud and boisterous like he always was, there was a new…calmness, no, maturity about him. He gave a small huff of laughter; Asta and mature in the same sentence, he never thought that would happen.

But Asta had really matured over the years, and in Yuno’s opinion, that somehow made him way cooler than he already was, if that were even possible!

“ Y’know Asta, I envy you.” Yuno said with a small smile before he walked out of the room. “ Hurry up, you’re going to be late!”

“ Huh? ‘I envy you’? What the heck does he mean? I’m the one who envies him.” Asta muttered before Liebe suddenly patted his brother on the shoulder with a grin.

“ C’mon it’s time to go, don’t wanna keep the royal waiting.” Liebe joked as he and Asta walked out of the waiting room.

The wedding went off without a hitch.

Asta stood at the end of the aisle waiting excitedly to see his future wife, and as each of her bridesmaids slowly made their way down the aisle Asta could feel his excitement and anxiousness reaching its peak.

Finally, the door opened and Asta felt his heart skip a beat. Noelle stood at the entrance with her eldest brother Nozel by her side, and she looked beautiful.

She wore a beautiful strapless gown with beautiful diamond details on the bodice, as Asta’s eyes traveled down the gown he noticed the edges of the tool were a light blue, and that how the dress moved as she walked mimicked waves. She had on satin gloves with light blue around the top, and she had her silver hair in a loose bun with a beautiful, simple, ocean inspired hair ornament that Kahono had given her.

The closer Noelle got, the brighter Asta’s face became, his eyes shining with absolute love and amazement, and if one looked closely at Noelle, they would see the same in her eyes.

Once she and Nozel made it to the other end of the aisle, Asta watched as a small look passed between the siblings before he gently gave Asta her hand. He cut the shorter man a serious look before he turned and walked towards his seat.

“ Wow Noelle, you look beautiful!” Asta said, his mouth slightly agape in awe. Noelle’s blush deepened but you could see a shy, happy smile appear on her face.

“ Of course I do Bakasta, did you think I would come out here looking terrible?” She asked, her voice trying to sound harsh and haughty like usual, but it instead came out more soft and teasing. “ But I will admit you don’t clean up too badly yourself Bakasta.” She added softly, using Asta’s nickname to tease him, but also to try and calm her nerves.

Soon Father Orsi quickly cleared his throat and looked at the two with a slightly stern, but mostly loving gaze. He quickly went on with trying to officiate the wedding, but paused occasionally to clear his throat and wipe his eyes, which confused Asta a bit.

“ Do you, Asta, take Noelle to be your lawfully wedded wife? For richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, for as long as you both shall live?” Father Orsi asked, and when Asta turned to look at him his green eyes widened. Father Orsi was quietly crying, which explained why he was clearing his throat and wiping his eyes when he was speaking. Asta smiled fondly at the man who had raised him, and was his foster father and gently patted his shoulder to comfort him.

Father Oris nodded after a minute, signaling that he had regained his composure. Asta than turned to look at Noelle with that same fond, but very bright smile.

“ I do.”

Noelle’s face turned red once again and she quickly turned to look at Father Orsi as he turned his attention to her.

“ Do you, Noelle, take Asta to be your lawfully wedded husband? For richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, and for as long as you both shall live?” Father Orsi glanced at Asta before leaning towards Noelle. “ It’s not too late to change your mind, you still have a chance!”

“ H-Hey I can hear you y’know?!” Asta shouted loudly, causing everyone in the church to laugh, including Noelle, but the silver haired woman quickly shook her head.

“ I’m not going to run away,” She turned to look at Asta with the softest and most loving smile anyone had ever seen. “ I choose you, and I’ll never change my mind. I do take you, Asta, to be my lawfully wedded husband. No matter what.”

Everyone had been a little surprised at Noelle’s firm love declaration, about they all smiled and were glad that she had shown everyone how confident she was in her love for the ash-blonde haired mage.

Father Orsi smiled fondly at the two before he cleared his throat.

“ Well, with that being said, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”

Asta and Noelle looked at each other with slightly wide eyes, like Yuno and Neva during their wedding, the two had almost forgotten about this part. Asta could hear Yuno chuckling from behind him.

“ C’mon Asta, we don’t have all day. Isn’t that what you told me on my wedding day?” Yuno teased as he patted his friend on the shoulder.

“ Yeah Asta, surpass your limits!” Vanessa shouted, and Asta and Noelle looked out and saw all the Black Bulls standing there with bright, loving, and cheerful smiles on their faces. Even Captain Yami couldn’t hide the proud smile on his face.

Asta and Noelle looked at each other for a moment, before they both took a deep calming breath. Noelle gently cupped Asta’s face in her hands, leaned forward, and placed a gentle kiss onto his lips. Asta’s eyes widened in surprise but he soon closed them and gently kissed her back as his hands rested on her sides.

After the ceremony ended, everyone walked outside for the reception. The colder days had gradually begun to grow warmer and warmer with each passing day, and today was the warmest so far, which made it the perfect day to hold the reception outside in the field beside the church.

As soon as Asta and Noelle had walked out of the church they were greeted by all the Black Bulls. The two were hugged, given gifts and words of encouragement, and were both patted on the head by Captain Yami.

“ I’m proud of you two.” Yami had said as he ruffled their hair. “ But if either of you screws this up I’ll kill you both.” He added in a mildly threatening tone, which instinctively made the two straighten and salute their Captain.

“ Yes Captain Yami, sir!”

Soon, a 6 year old Hikari, and a nearly 3 year old Aloys Adlai approached them. Aloys walked over to his parents and his mother picked him up and held him.

“ Auntie Noelle, Uncle Astaa! You both look soooo beautiful!” Hikari said happily as she ran up and held both their hands. “ Thank you for letting me be the flower girl, I really enjoyed throwing the flowers everywhere!”

“ Aw you’re welcome Hikari, you did an amazing job! Thank you for doing it for us!” Asta told her cheerfully as he crouched down and ruffled her hair, Noelle turned to look at Aloys.

“ And you did a great job as the ring bearer Aloys, thank you for doing it.” Noelle told him kindly, Aloys muttered a soft ‘thank you’ before hiding his face in his mothers neck.

“ We’re all proud of you Aloys, you were really brave and did an amazing job.” Gauche said as he reached out and patted his son's head, Noelle watched the little boy smile before he hugged his mother tighter.

Soon, Vanessa ran off towards the open bar with Finral in tow, Charmy and Secre went off towards the food table, Gordon went to sit with Grey, Gauche, and Aloys. Zora, Luck, and Magna went off to spar in the field, while Nacht, Henry, and Liebe all went their own ways since there were a lot of people around. While Captain Yami and Hikari walked towards Captain Roselei who was sitting at a nearby table.

“ Hikari’s going to be a great big sister once the Captain’s baby is born.” Asta said proudly as he watched the growing Yami family sitting together talking.

“ Yeah I think so too, I think Hikari’s hoping for a younger brother though.” Noelle said with a small laugh when Asta frowned in thought.

“ She told me she wanted a little sister the other day.” He said with a frown as Noelle shrugged.

“ Who knows? She’s probably hoping for twins so that way she can have one of each.” Noelle said with a shake of her head.

After Asta and Noelle talked for a bit they walked together to greet the rest of the guests that had arrived. There were people from Heart, Spade, Hino, and even Diamond. The two had hoped for a smaller wedding, but at the same time they didn’t really mind a larger one since they wanted to celebrate this occasion with all of their friends.

Soon Asta and Noelle parted to greet some guests by themselves, and the first person Noelle ran into just so happened to be her eldest brother Nozel, who was sitting in a corner by himself drinking a glass of champagne.

“ Where’s Nebra and Solid? I thought they’d be here with you.” Noelle asked as she stood beside him, she watched as he sighed and shook his head.

“ Nebra went off to find that Zora person from the Black Bulls, and Solid, well, he’s off doing whatever it is that he does.” Nozel told her simply, and Noelle suddenly giggled.

“ He’s probably off trying to find a date, since he’s the only one out of us that doesn’t have anyone.” Noelle half joked, which event caused Nozel to chuckle.

“ You’re probably right.”

The two siblings fell into silence again, it was surprisingly not awkward or uncomfortable, it was just…fine? There wasn’t really any other word Noelle could have used to describe it. She took the small glass of champagne that was on the table beside them and took a sip.

“ Y’know, mom would be proud of you right now.” Nozel suddenly said, his voice soft and almost distant, as though he were somewhere else. Noelle turned to look at him.

“ She’d be proud of the woman you’ve become, of the path you’ve traveled to get here, and I think she’d be proud of the man you married. Even if he can be an idiot at times.” Nozel said light heartedly and with a small smile, Noelle blushed a bit and looked away.

“ I dunno, I hope she’d be proud of me and approve of the choices I’ve made in my life. But I sometimes worry if she’d be disappointed, or disapprove, of the choices I’ve made.” Noelle admitted softly as she set down her champagne glass.

“ You’re wrong, mother would never be disappointed in you or disapprove of you. In fact it’d be quite the opposite. If she’d be disappointed in anyone, it would be me, Solid, and Nebra. Because of how terribly we treated you.”

“ But that’s-!” Noelle started, but he quickly shook his head, finished his glass, and looked at her.

“ I know you’re going to say that it isn’t my fault, that I had no choice, but I did have a choice, Noelle, and I made the wrong one. Nebra and Solid are only partially to blame for their behavior, if I hadn’t set a poor example for them and had corrected their behavior, I don’t think they’d be the way they are now.” Nozel admitted as he turned to look at Noelle.

“ I’m proud of you Noelle, and so is Nebra, Solid, and mother. You deserve to be happy like this, and you deserve to spend your entire life being with the one you love the most.”

With that Nozel walked away and disappeared into the crowd of people before Noelle could say anything. She smiled softly before looking up towards the clear afternoon sky, hoping that Nozel was right, and that her mother was proud of her.

On the other side of the field, Asta greeted his Hage family and they all gave him their congratulations along with hugs and bits of advice, which Asta took gladly. As he walked around a bit more he noticed Yuno standing beside a table alone, steadily sipping his champagne.

“ Where’s your wife? Did she get tired of your company and leave already?” Asta asked jokingly, which caused Yuno to roll his eyes and shake his head.

“ Of course not, she’s over there talking to Mimosa and Klaus.” Yuno said as he nodded his head in their direction, Asta turned and sure enough there was Neva, drinking a glass of sparkling water and talking to her former squadmates Mimosa and Klaus.

“ What about you? Did your wife change her mind and decide to run away after all?” Yuno asked jokingly, Asta snorted and shook his head.

“ Of course not! She’s…somewhere over there…I think?” Asta said as he pointed in a general direction, which caused Yuno to laugh.

The two foster brothers stood beside each other quietly, both just taking in how much things had changed for the both of them, and how this was the place they had started their journeys to become the Wizard King when they were only 15 years old with nothing but big hearts and even bigger dreams, and well with lots of mana on Yuno’s part.

“ Who would have thought the two of us would have this amazing life?” Asta said softly as he looked out amongst his friends and family, and Yuno nodded in agreement.

“ I know, certainly I didn’t think I’d ever have any of this. But you? Yeah, I kinda figured you would.”

“ Huh? How so?” Asta asked with a frown, which made Yuno chuckle.

“ Because, you’re you Asta, and you tend to defy everyone's expectations of you.” Yuno said as he took another sip of his drink, Asta nodded, he had a point, Asta did tend to defy everyone's expectations, he was even able to defy his own at times.

“ Y’know, I’m glad I was able to go on this journey with you, and I was to have experienced all of this with you by my side. You’re a good friend Yuno, and an even better rival and brother.” Asta said with a bright smile as he held out his fist towards the dark haired mage. Yuno’s eyes widened at his words, and he smirked a bit before making a fist and pressing it against Asta’s.

“ Same here, I couldn’t imagine having anyone better as my friend, brother, and rival.” Yuno agreed, and once the two put their hands down Asta suddenly pointed a finger at him.

“ But just so we’re clear, this doesn’t mean I’m gonna stop being your rival. You may’ve gotten married before me and became a king before me, doesn’t mean I’ll let you have kids before me!” Asta declared, and a strange look suddenly crossed Yuno’s face as he looked away.

“ It’s already too late for that.” He muttered softly as he tried to hide his small smile, the ash-blonde haired mage frowned in confusion.

It was already too late for that? What did he…? Suddenly, it dawned on Asta what he was referring to, he looked from Neva and her glass of water, to Yuno and his smirk.

“ No way…Neva’s Pregnant?!” Asta suddenly shouted at the top of his lungs, causing everyone, including the woman in question, to turn and look at him.

Yuno suddenly felt his face turn bright red as he felt his wife glaring at him from across the field, he quickly grabbed and tried to shush his foster brother.

“ Be quiet Asta! No one’s supposed to know yet!”

“ If no one’s supposed to know yet, that means it’s still early right? Which means Noelle and I can catch up right?” Asta said loudly as he quickly turned around and began to search for his wife.

“ It doesn’t work like that Asta!” Yuno shouted after his friend, but quickly sighed, he had a feeling Noelle would set him straight.

Oh, how right he was.

As soon as Asta opened his mouth and began to explain things to Noelle, including how they needed to hurry up and have kids so Yuno wouldn’t surpass him, Noelle quickly pulled her wand out from her dress and doused him with water while shouting:

“ You’re such an idiot Bakasta!!!”
