I honestly don't even know why people like Sally so much, considering that beyond being drawn like a human for some reason, there's not really much to her character that isn't taken by most of the cast. Her being good with programming and hacking? A good chunk of the characters in the series are pretty good at it - even Sonic is if Forces is anything to go by. A good leader? Pthhhhht. Not only is she not a good leader (constantly bringing her wimpy simp Antoine in SatAM over the more logical Bunnie, for example), but Amy, Rouge, Knuckles, and a bunch of other characters have shown to be very good at leadership in ways that Sally can barely match. Being sassy and wise? Uh... not only was Sally's 'sass' coming across as mean-spirited at times, she also didn't feel wise when she dodged ideas that would have made more sense in the situation - I.E. her throwing Sonic at things to 'fix' the situation like he was a lapdog, instead of actrively understanding the situation at hand - but it also felt the narrative always wrote her as 'correct' to make her always correct. Besides, I find her Holier-Than-Thou attitude annoying and not well thought out in comparison to characters like Wave - who can admit that someone's on par with her abilities - or Cream - who is a powerhouse despite her appearance proclaiming to not be.

I just find so many people simp for Sally because she's sexy, and I wish people just stopped and admitted that they like Sally cause she's sexy.

Why do you think so many fans had a Joker 2019 moment when they gave her pants?

At least they'd be honest if they admitted she makes their pee-pee feel funny, therefore they want more of her so they can continue to have funny pee-pee feels. Instead we get feature length manifestos about how the entire franchise rests on her shoulders... as opposed to Sonic, the character whose name is on the product, and Eggman, the guy who initiates 95% of the stories.

1: Anime girls are not real people, they are drawings, they are costume ideas. Since there is no real minor to protect, it is that character's LIKENESS that anime-Karens are trying to restrict. To restrict her likeness in that way means we are forbidden from being attracted to anyone that even looks like her.

1.5: Calling everyone "pedophile" willy nilly only makes the word lose it's status. Pedos are supposed to be the most despised minority, even the scummiest criminals hate pedos. But when 9/10 of the population can be labeled pedos over stupid reasons like anime girls, pubic hair, 18-year-olds, young-looking adults, etc then that word will mean nothing.

2: Anime girls do not age like us. We get older but they don't. Most of these "underage" drawings would be well over 18 if you added the # of years since their show came out. So if a character is permanently underage that means nobody is ever allowed to have the hots for her? Nobody can even age her up?

2.5: If I find a drawing of a beautiful girl attractive, that is a compliment to the artist's skills, not a condemnation of my character. If someone like Komi or Shirahoshi is SUPPOSED to look super-attractive & we fall for her, that means the animators did a great job.

3: They resemble adults. In anime for every loli, there's a girl under 18 who looks like an adult (Komi, Momo, Evergarden, Eliz Liones). So if an artist draws a beautiful naked woman & a bunch of horny straight guys find it hot, they become pedophiles the moment the artist decides she's under 18? Isn't that a form of entrapment? If a drawing resembles an adult, she should be treated as such.

3.5: What real 16-year-old girl has natural pink hair & pink eyes? or green hair + green eyes? These are shows where Japanese people look like Nordic white people. Stop taking it so seriously.

4: If having the hots for underage heart-throbs like Reimi, Momo, Komi, or Nagatoro makes them a "Pedophile", then by the exact same logic, anyone with the hots for anthro girls like Lola from Space Jam, Gadget from C&D R.R, or Amy Rose from Sonic MUST be labeled as Zoophiles. "Buh Lola looks human enough so it's not beastality" Then these anime minors look adult enough so it's not pedophilia.

5: Anyone crying "pedo" over barely-underage drawings would have a heart attack if they went to an anime convention. Vendors there openly sell pillow covers & obscene mouse pads of young characters. By their logic, every vendor selling any sexual merch of non-adult characters is equal to a child trafficker.

5.5: Is it pedophilia for an adult woman to cosplay an underage character? Or for a man to be attracted to an adult woman while she's dressed like an underage character? Most popular cosplayers have done sexy cosplays of Asuka, Sailor Moon, Bunny Bulma, Jinx, & other fictional minors. How about the dub voice actresses? Many VAs have signed or sold sensual drawings of underage girls they've voiced. If a VA is cool with men calling her (16 yo) character a waifu is she a pedo accomplice?

6: The ones screaming "pedo" CANNOT DEBATE IN GOOD FAITH. Don't let these bullies fool you. Anyone screaming "pedo" over mature anime girls is 100% doing it for corrupt power-hungry reasons. These people are lowlife abusers, they just wanna pick on someone. They are WEAPONIZING the ages of these drawings, they see Momo's age as a free pass to bully anyone who thinks she's hot. If they truly thought you were a danger to kids, they wouldn't be talking shit to you at all, they'd be quietly gathering evidence or calling the police. If you debate them as to why simping for waifus is not pedophilia, they will pull every dirty trick from the narcissist handbook to paint you as bad as possible.

7: There is no correlation between real life pedophilia & anime """pedophilia"""". Anime Karens/Antis have argued that normalizing the sexualization of fictional minors will lead to the normalization of real life pedophilia. This is EXACTLY like the argument that violent videogames will lead to more shootings. You know what else is normalized in anime? Training & exercise! Yet alot of anime fans are still morbidly obese or horribly out of shape. Anyways people know murder is wrong, even when it's depicted in fiction, so the same logic applies to fictional teens being sexualized. Most sane people know the difference between a fictional minor being sexualized & real kids being sexually exploited. If someone doesn't know that, they were already a creep, just like how if a gamer doesn't know that violence is wrong irl, they already had issues. There is no "can kinda blur the line between real & fake." Most people know the difference between real & fake. The human brain isn't gonna start finding real kids attractive because it enjoyed Highschool DXD or Cat Planet Cuties.

An Amy imposter would be ALMOST COMPLETELY USELESS!

The MOST he would have would be the Metal Virus healing and MAYBE a SLIGHTLY strong weapon which Starline built for him to get him to stop begging for one!

He would be whiny and clingy and grating and a COMPLETE AND UTTER SURGE SIMP! He would be nothing more than a cheerleader watching Surge and Kit fight, and the MOMENT he himself was attacked he would curl up and scream “SURGEY, HELP ME!”

His SOLE REASON for being created would be to “give Surge a boyfriend” because THAT’S ALL STARLINE SEES IN AMY! He assumes Amy is literally just a GIRL, and SONIC’S GIRL, and IGNORES her own strength and leadership and the much more complicated state of their dynamic!

And don’t get me started on Knuckles imposters. There wouldn’t be one! Because, as Starline would say, “Knuckles’ sole purpose in life is to sit in front of the Master Emerald! He doesn’t do anything! He isn’t even INVOLVED with Sonic! He’s completely irrelevant!”

Y’all clearly don’t understand Starline’s character or his thought process that went into Surge and Kit.

What annoys you about the Netflix version of Castlevania? 👀

Mostly the fact that it has become the face of the series. I pointed out already that on AO3, 2/3rds of Castlevania fics are based on the cartoon - at best, some fics aren't even tagged.

Tumblr is even worse. Search for "Castlevania" and notice how many posts are about the cartoon.

For more specific things... I may have become a fan of the series relatively recently, but to me the whole show feels like the showrunners really wanted to make a Berserk anime, and slapped on it the Castlevania aesthetic. And I'm a big Berserk fan! But not when you mix concepts this way. Just because both series deal with monsters and are set in the middle ages doesn't mean that they have quite the same vibe.

Then there is the questionable treatment of characters. Grant was adapted out of what was supposed to be a C3 adaptation because Ellis decided that his name was stupid and that his pirate-like appearance didn't fit the setting, even though Grant isn't a pirate, he's a thief. Trevor is pigeonholed in the character archetype of "drunkard asshole", even though he already had a fairly interesting personality in Curse of Darkness that could have been elaborated on, honorable but arrogant and hotheaded. Carmilla hasn't appeared much in the series, but the few times she did, she sure wasn't a radfem girlboss who dismissed Dracula as yet another "stupid old man". And boy help you if you like Hector, Isaac and/or St. Germain, because they bothered to bring them back, but the former is... well, I don't know what other term to use but he was pretty much ukeified, with how his main trait seems to be naiveté and how he gets imprisoned, beaten up and enslaved (did we really need to see his dick flap around as Lenore is beating the shit out of him? Now you're just humiliating him); and the other two have nothing in common with their game counterparts other than their names and somewhat their powers. You know why I reblog Isaac fanart from 10 years ago? Because now the tag is full of posts about the Netflix character (even "Isaac Laforeze", even though by logic it makes no sense that Netflix!Isaac would be called that way, Julia Laforeze doesn't exist in the cartoon), with some fans even saying things like "sometimes wildly deviating from the source material is the best idea" :') also, how can you even write Death as not being the biggest Dracula simp? C'mon.

(yes I'm particularly bitter about Isaac. I would have accepted if they just replaced him with an OC, and I'm sure that Netflix!Isaac is a great character too so I understand why he's so popular. Replacing the original version with an OC but keeping the same name is just sleazy, like you want credit for "fixing" the "bad" character but not putting any thought in salvaging what could be salvageable, it's lazy)

Another thing that I find sus is the overabundance of OCs. I'm biased because I watched in real time IDW Sonic shift focus from the canon characters to the new characters to the point that the cover of #50 didn't even feature the titular character, but it says something that big bad Dracula dies halfway through, and then the series is about a council of 4 new villains. And yes, I'm biased because of scenes like this:

Tell me if it doesn't look like the show really wants to show how #girlboss Carmilla is compared to dumb Dracula. He can't even command a room.

Then there are... dubious writing moments. The series makes the common mistake of thinking that swearwords are witty, to the point that even Alucard says "fuck you" to Trevor and shows him the middle finger (because haha he's becoming like trevor). St. Germain is just embarassing, going from a refined yet quirky 19th century dandy man to someone who says "I am immortal and glorious, and all these other people smell of piss" or "God is now standing right in front of you. And soon, very, very, soon... he's going to have sex again". And Death... oh, Death, what happened to you...

I'm also baffled when they try to apply logic to vampire lore? It feels like the writers felt too smart for their own good. I can't find it on YT but at one point the character just stop in their tracks to argue the validity of the conception that vampires can't cross running water, just because. And the explanation to why every vampire hates crosses is just ridiculous, sorry.

And then there's the offensive stuff. Hector sticks his dick in Lenore, she tricks him into becoming her sex slave/pet, and yet in the next season they basically develop feelings for each other? And she's painted in a tragic light? She's basically Dahlia Hawthorne with a dom fetish (which I'm not even opposed to, she seems to be an interesting villain at first) and I'm supposed to feel sorry for her? In the same episode there's a random threesome between Alucard and two people he welcomed into the castle, but it was all a ruse to try to kill him, and he's traumatized for... a few episodes? Then he gets better? Just enough to show him pissing on their corpses. Thanks.

(and I'm not even getting into the fact that Ellis himself has been accused of sexual misconduct, which makes these scenes even more uncomfortable)

So yeah. I don't personally resent Netflixvania, and I know that there are some good moments in it ("Lisa, I'm killing our boy..."), but from what I've seen so far, the series simply doesn't deserve to massively overshadow the game series - not even because of quality issues, but because at the end of the day it doesn't have much to do with the games beyond some superficial references.

Ok here I am! I'm ready! Let's talk about Sonic sequel...😖😖😖💘💘💘👏👏😭😭

First of all this movie hit me hard cause I didn't met sonic from the 2D classics not even the first 3Ds nope I met sonic for the first time with the game SONIC HEROES so you can already guess how I felt seeing the primary colors trio together all cute and fluffy in live action movie KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA😱😱🤯🤯🤩🤩

Again the movie showed me a relatable version of Sonic full of flaws and need of growth, also the humans once again shine in a good way. There's a change from the first movie, Tom and Sonic were knowing each other for the first time with Sonic kind of idolizing him as really cool and nice person he wants to be best friends with and it was kinda like that on the middle of the movie but at the end that had a different portrayal of their relationship with they making Sonic his own room and both Maddie and Tom sitting with him like a family, right there Sonic was adopted, not took in, he got parents not best friends roommates and it's shown right at the beginning of the sequel.

Tom can't be Sonic best friend because he is his Father... And at the beginning Sonic didn't agree with that, he wants Tom to be his friend not his Dad and Tom gets worried because he can't give Sonic what he needs, friends! A gang, fellas like him to grow up with (awwww he is such a Dad and keeps punching people faces LOL 😂). And who appears? The ones meant to be beasties and bros!♥️♥️ And Tom and Maddie just adopted them all 😂😂😂😂 and Maddie... In that pink dress...😳😳😳 Oh Maddie why are you so pretty, beautiful and wonderful and stunningly gorgeous queen 💘💘💘🥵🥵(ok gay side stop simping) and seriously i bet she feels lucky as a vet+ animal lovers she got to be the mom of 3 kids who are also alien fluffy animals. And Rachel... Look a lot of people might think the wedding scene was unnecessary but honestly I think it was so much fun, Rachel was a queen and I have the theory that since she is in a relationship with Randall an agent of G.U.N that could mean they could be the ones Rouge the bat lives with (if she appears in Sonic 3), it makes sense since Rouge will work for G.U.N, so the Wedding scene to me would explain why Rouge will live with Rachel since Rachel is now more involved with G.U.N through Randall.

Tails... Aww Tails... He is just too much of a cute fluffy baby!!! This movie did justice to him! He is useful, brave, smart, he fights and even being intellectually superior to all the characters he is still behave like the 8 years old little kid he is! That dance scene was a bit like: why the hell is this happening? But not only was so funny it was such a sweet heartwarming bonding moment! The moment their relationship changed from friendly idol and awkward eager fanboy to best friends and brothers....(sonic tucked in tails like Tom did with him once and Tails covered him with his fluffy tails aadakrwadawae I'm having foam in my mouth because of all this cuteness!!!🥺🥺😖😖) And I'm guessing that Tails lived alone because his parents abandoned him out of shame of him having 2 tails or something, just like i suppose Sonic was abandoned too by his biological parents because of his power and was found by Longclaw... It's just a theory to make sense of all of it, we only know what happened with Knuckles dad... Both lonely and special and both reached out to meet their idols to be friends of them they so much alike 🥺🥺🥺(well actually sonic did it with Tom because he needed help and Tails reached out Sonic to help him Lol Sonic you are such a troublemaker 😂😂😂) So yeah Tails and his participation in the movie was top notch. (No more "help me sonic I'm helpless"😤)

No seriously his design is too much for my heart ❤️ He is fluffy SO FLUFFY i want to rub my face with those fluffy helicopter tails😍😍😍😍

Robotnick... Oh dear... Jim Carrey is the best...👌👌👌👌 He made a completely excepcional funny Eggman with the perfect mix of charisma, madness, evilness, cruelty and sadism!!👏👏👏 With the balanced amount of comedy and dark dramatic action... And excuse me? He even has his own simp? Agent Stone you are priceless 👌. Honestly it was hard to be angry with him even when he betrayed knuckles because is just too charismatic! (Still hard or not I got pissed... My poor baby knuckles... You egg bitch!)

And the cherry top... My precious Knuckles the echidna the one character who forced me watch this movies i didn't think they would be so good and shut my mouth 😖😖😖😖😖 ok ok first of all to the director of the movie :

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Along with Tails you did justice to knuckles!!! Finally 😭😭😭!! Knuckles wasn't stupid, retarded level!(hate hate hate what sonic boom did to knuckles🤬🤬🤬, sonic X did a better job) He is just naive a bit clueless and impulsive! Because he has a lot of pain and rage and has been Isolated for so long! And previously he lived kind of a more primitive like life basing on how his tribe looked like (after that he showed up with modern shoes and gloves, his dad had bandages instead) And unlike in other versions the fact that he believes eggman and immediately fights sonic doesn't look irrational because he already had a grudge against him for personal reasons, Eggman had to do nothing to convince him the hedgehog was "bad" he merely tricked him to get the master emerald and let him fight Sonic as a distraction. Also he got back to have his typical bad temper 🤣🤣 and he INTIMIDATES. So thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

His bonding moment with Sonic was as perfect as with tails he was betrayed and then they saved each other and finally sit to have a conversation with knuckles seeing sonic with a new light and them being rescued by Tails... All three together!!! Sonic Heroes!!!!!!😭😭😭😭 Fighting eggman robots just like in the game it was just sooooo epic!!!!

Also the respect in his design, he is a bit taller and beefy than he usually was in the games but not exaggerated like that big insulting hunk of Sonic boom ajjjj he is not supposed to be as tall as Vector or Big the cat 🙄🙄🙄 but here he had the balance, some centimeters taller than sonic and with muscle (not exaggerated) showing and in contrast with tails... My heart!!!😖😖❤️❤️ Tails is little enough to be picked up by Knuckles!! How pure is this?

Isn't just wholesome? The three of them were alone in the world and they found each other and got new human parents and became brothers🥺🥺🥺🥺 playing together, getting ice cream, acting like kids!!! Like the kids they are... i mean knuckles and Sonic are technically teenagers (16 and 15) but it makes sense that they have a more childish behavior than that age because growing up without adult examples does that, it makes you more innocent and of course Tails is 8 he is the actual child here XD and Sonic now that he got proper friends of his age is ready to accept Tom is his father and finally calls him Dad🥲👌

We also saw baby knuckles! Like baby Sonic 😭😭😭 we didn't see baby tails cause he is already a baby 🤗🤗🤗 and SUPER SONIC!!!! And then SHADOW!!!! Im honestly surprised i didn't die of excitement watching the movie 😵😵😵

And the best part is how the story with the master emerald and the extinction of the echidna tribe changed in a different path that makes sense and also conveniently provides a excuse for knuckles to stay with the other two permanently and not having to go alone to Angel Island to guard it and also they changed the jewel to a more comfortable size 👏👏😂😂 BRAVO 👏👏👏👏👏😭👏😭👏😭 WONDERFUL WONDERFUL MOVIE BRAVO!!!

Mephiles: “And I killed Sonic and caused the end of reality.”

Guy: “Wait...you killed Sonic?”

Mephiles: “Yup.”

Guy: “Like...actually killed him?”

Mephiles: “Literally stabbed him in the back with a beam through his chest...in front of a princess too.”

Guy: “Alright, you’re in. Welcome aboard.”

I notice fandoms of kids media generally have a double standard in opinions pertaining to their show/game/movie

The biggest example besides Sonic I can think of is Regular Show, specifically in regards to Mordecai being considered worse than Rigby

Here are general reasons they use

"Oh, Mordecai is a simp. Rigby is a chad with Eileen later"

"Mordecai killed Rigby cuz he was jealous"

"Rigby had great character dev"

"Rigby made mistakes, but he always had good intentions"

Let's view these, closely

"Oh, Mordecai is a simp. Rigby is a chad with Eileen later"

Mordecai in the first 2 seasons is noted for his awkward crush for Margaret. According to the modern day urban dictionary definition, he'd have to make great efforts in trying to get attention/favors, generally from a person they don't know

Even though most of the time he's just crushing to the side and having cold feet, and he's already friends with her. The only time he expended effort was 2 S1 eps (both oddly relating to music). After S3s incident with CJ he stops crushing so hard as well, and inversely, Margaret shows some interest romantically to Mordecai too. Despite the later CJ conflict, they manage to get together, and after End of series despite great bonds, both part ways and have their own separate romantic partners with no fuss, further showing he isn't a simp

For Rigby...

S1 and 2, despite even Mordecai noting it, Rigby would dismiss Eileen's advances, even insulting her. Mid S3 he suddenly is revealed to secretly find her cute, and several seasons later for S6's finale he actually is set with her romantically. Ironically, well after Mordecai legitimately is dating

Outside that, his luck with women is similar to Mordecai's: pretty trash romantically. S3's Cruisin' shows it with both failing to be macho to pick up chicks legit.

"Mordecai killed Rigby cuz he was jealous"

Relating to S2's "It's Time", people conveniently forget

-Rigby pushes first. Mordecai responded in self defense in the heat of the moment

-Rigby completely violated the bro code strictly for pettiness on Mordecai not going to the movies with him. He was not legitimately interested in Margaret

-Mordecai immediately regretted accidentally killing him, and begs to the clocks to undo his mistake

People take the "I'll kill you!" line too literally.

Funny enough, no one brings up

-Rigby saying "I'll kill you" to Mordecai in "Death Punchies"

-Skips accidentally killing Rigby in the arm wrestle contest

This downplaying and convenient ignorance is the meat of these double standards

"Rigby had great character dev"

Rigby literally didn't have any until end seasons

S1-3, 90% of supernatural incidents were his fault, with everyone having to pitch in to clean up his mess. S4-5 have been a buffer period where nothing goes wrong, though no development occurs. S6's finale finally has him start to change

While the development is for a positive, waiting over 6 seasons for it seems unfair on Mordecai's behalf. It gets worse when you realize Rigby lied about Mordecai's college rejection

"Rigby made mistakes, but he always had good intentions"

Yeah no. The show makes it clear he's the lazier and more selfish one until his turn around. To name a few;

-He releases the Arcade monster despite Mordecai warning

-He set the BBQ on fire due to ignoring Mordecai's warning, then locks both in the meat cellar out of overconfidence

-He keeps rejecting his brother's help out of jealousy

-He eggs a house despite Mordecai telling him not to (though this was a dream/story)

-He dated Margaret strictly to piss Mordecai off cuz of the tickets

-Reairing of pilot he didn't even apply for work. Mordecai had to do it for him

-He cheated a bet so Mordecai would be blonde for a week. He doesn't feel bad at all until he sees Mordecai hanging out with blonde dudes, then gets possessive

-He cheated in arm wrestling and rubbed it in Skips' face

-He idiotically bet everyone's souls in bowling just for a glowing orb

-He freaking didn't learn his lesson of spontaneously doing challenges after his allergy induced coma

-He sabotaged Mordecai's college acceptance letter, and fabricates that he himself was accepted just so Mordecai would never leave. This is toxic possessiveness

He was a real jerk S1-3, and it's weird to see how people downplay his flaws strictly cuz his later relationship with Eileen, and bias against Mordecai. Mordecai has his own flaws too, but they're mostly self contained, nor affect others. Yet while Rigby gets the pass, he doesn't

I find it sad that despite being the Minnie Mouse of the Sonic franchise, Amy gets a lot of hate for being a ‘normal’ but flawed girl. Sometimes, I don’t understand why her detractors call her a stalker when she is a close friend of Sonic and is never seen hiding behind the bushes to ambush or humiliate him. Not only that, they even call her a simp as well despite being a young lady who holds her appearances in high regard and the moment Sonic disrespects her, she would whack him or give him a good scolding.

I mean, no one ever demonized Minnie for her flaws and calling her deragotory terms like stalker or simp, so why Amy?

Because Amy is girly and not "badass" as Rouge and Blaze and Sally; also she's 12 and people make hating children their entire personality. Also she's a girl so a girl character especially one like Amy does something unflattering she gets shamed to hell and back.

being an "influencer," you enjoyed the platform you had. you used it to promote the things you believed in, and provide genuine support to the people who followed and supported you. also, you were given the opportunity to meet and work with some amazing people, including your wonderful boyfriend, colby brock.

colby had been in the social media space way longer than you'd been, and being with him intimidated you, considering the reputation he and his fandom had. fortunately, they accepted you with loving arms.

now, as you tended to be someone who used their platform for good, you were still no stranger to posting spicy photos and videos, especially when it came to tiktok. your followers always hyped up your physical beauty, and were very persistent in their requests.

you knew you were hot, so why not flaunt it.

tiktok trends were your favorite, as they came and went so quickly, and it was always something new. your favorite trend at the moment was the one that went to the song "smokin out the window" by silk sonic. you had a perfect outfit, that accentuated all the right parts of your body. there was a perfect area of your apartment that had the perfect amount of natural lighting.

"this is gonna look amazing." you smiled to yourself as you set up your phone on the tripod. you had the shot framed perfectly, and you began filming.

you stood there as the countdown started, acting out perfectly the emotion you wanted to portray to the lyrics that played. after the transition, you made yourself up and changed into your other outfit.

"all this sweat and exhaustion for a fifteen second video." you laughed as you set up the next frame. it took a couple of takes to open your door on the right moment, but once you finally had it down, the video looked amazing.

you cleaned it up a bit, and finally posted it to your profile. you watched as the likes and comments came in, and you liked and replied to a few of them for a while.

later that evening, you and colby were in his room, having just got home from a quick dinner. you were in the bathroom going through your nighttime routine, and colby was sitting on his couch, his back to you, scrolling through his phone.

as you stood in the bathroom, you noticed that the same song was playing from his phone.

"this bitch got me paying her rent, paying for trips...." coming from his phone speaker over and over again. you walked over to him on the couch and glanced down at his phone, seeing yourself on his screen. you watched as he added the video to his favorites, and continued watching it.

"whatcha watching?" you asked, running your fingers through his hair as you walked past him.

"just the most beautiful person i've ever laid eyes on." he said as he followed you to bed.

"oh yeah?" you smirked as he climbed into bed next to you, pressing kisses to your cheeks and neck.

"oh, for sure. although, i'm not sure how i feel about you flaunting yourself for other people on tiktok." he teased.

"i'm not flaunting everything. there is still very much that is for your eyes only." you smiled, kissing him again.

"as it should be." he laughed. "how come you've never worn that outfit for me? it looks amazing on you." he asked.

"it's new, and we haven't gone on any formal dates since i got it. but i can wear it for you anytime to want." you said.

"i think i'm gonna have to plan a fancy dinner soon then, because that outfit is hot, and i need to see it in person."

What would be the point of bringing back the freedom fighters? Do they even bring anything to the table?

They wouldn't. There is very little that makes them what they are that isn't already covered by someone in the games, or close enough.

Sally would have a lot of thumb twiddling going on since she relies so heavily on telling Sonic what to do, which would be redundant in the games because Game Sonic can think for himself. Tails is already a heroic techie, so no luck for Rotor. Female powerhouses are already present in the games, so Bunnie's main selling point to stand out would be wangsting over her robotic limbs. Trip was just recently introduced, and despite what the Muh Legacy crowd says about older being better by default, her dragon form is more pleasing and interesting than Dulcy ever was, on top of not being attached to an annoying character either. Antoine... what would Antoine even do?

Say what you will about the IDW cast (I know I have), but at least with them, you could find a role for some of them if they started with a clean slate in the game verse. Not all of them, but some of them. You could potentially find a role for Tangle. You could potentially find a role for Starline preferably of the simp kind. But the Freedom Fighters? You'd have to change things up with them, and we know there'd be public meltdowns the moment THAT happens.

Just got out and OH MY GOSH I LOVED IT SO MUCH!

(Also formal apology to my older sister who had to endure me rapidly jabbing/smacking her whenever I got excited about something)

The opening scene with Robotnik, masterpiece. Dude just trying to make coffee should not have been that enjoyable. Also it's been 200 something days since the first movie, they did a good job

KUNCKLES FIRST APPEARANCE, LEGENDARY! MY BOY LOOKED SO GOOD!

Sonic's first appearance, so him! That's my boy, you should have seen him, he was adorable! Chilli dog and just the way he jumped off the building. Sonic vs Bombs was amazing! Also loved him just being a part of Green Hills, just a natural occurrence.

Child just accidentally stole $300 dollars. And got no sleep.

Father 👏 Son 👏 Fishing 👏 Trip👏

Normal occurrence. I knew he was going to fall off that boat! Sonic doesn't think it's father/son fishing time. It is. He got the generational dad advice, there is no doubt this is a parent child dynamic!

Sonic pretending to be an airline and Tom and Maddie playing along with it, this was the family content I needed!

Tails hijacked a police cruiser.

Sonic cleaned up SO FAST. Of course he did, but I am still impressed. Sonic/Tom interactions, my beloved.

Robotnik came like a horror movie character. At that moment I thought "sir, this is a child. A child... this is kind of messed up."

Sonic got low-key demolished in that fight. Also I actually forgot Tails was in the car so when he popped out I was actually surprised. And he's such a little fanboy, I loved Tails so much, he was so cute! Knuckles followed so persistently, a literal force of nature.

Tails kept the fact he could fly until he drove them off a cliff, I find that hilarious.

Wade was a pleasant surprise. The Chaos Emeralds!

Sonic and Tails having their brotherly bond, SO WHOLESOME! Sonic just hyping him up, I experienced so much joy! Their dance, Sonic being an older brother, peak dynamic!

Tails is never safe from being bullied by people.

Kunckles reading out the dot dot dot solidified how much I like him, he's adorable too! Also, we can smell that betrayal from a mile away, it wouldn't be Eggman and Knuckles without it.

an interesting man in mondstadt is advertising for a game that represented mondstadt’s history but eventually got less played and forgotten over the years. he wanted to bring back the tradition, with more exciting edits made to the game in hopes of attracting more players. you have convinced your boyfriend to play it with you, and hell, it was a wild ride.

kaeya, upon hearing about the game from you, would already be interested

it sounded really fun, so he played it with you asap

he may or may not have skipped some duties from the knights, but in his eyes it was completely within reason

he didn’t tell you about that, of course, or else you would’ve forced him to go back to favonius headquarters and finish up whatever boring paperwork he needed to sign.

anyways..

as a hunter he would be quite experienced, as expected, since he was a knight and had to do similar activities when hunting down criminals like treasure hoarders, the abyss order, etc

you’d have to be good at hiding, otherwise the game would end very quickly

“hm? i’m surprised how you were able to outrun me the first time with your height. i don’t usually fall for the same thing twice, that’s why i was able to catch you~”

as a rebel kaeya would also be surprisingly good at the role

he’s scarily good at hiding and even with your perks as a hunter to trace wherever he is, he still made it really challenging

if you ever get too close to wherever he’s hiding or disguising he might take advantage of having a cryo vision to slip you up somehow

whether that be literal or not

although he’ll get called out for cheating later

“my, you’re freezing up. come on, don’t be salty you lost. you were pretty close to catching me, i’ll give you that.” kaeya says as be brings you into his embrace, warming you up in dragonspine’s bitter cold.

diluc would honestly not be interested at first

it would take quite some pleading, daily bugging, and perhaps a bit of bribery to get him to agree to play

tell him that he wouldn’t have to see kaeya around for the week or something

as a hunter he would spend a good 30 seconds just standing there wondering what he should do. there are a lot of places to hide, and the map was very big. also you could’ve disguised yourself as something from the area, so how could he be completely sure it’s you?

he’s really quiet so you wouldn’t hear him coming

using the hunter ability to trace where you went, he’d be somewhat indecisive on whether he should take his time or run to follow the traces

will use hunter abilities at the most inconvenient moments

for you, as the rebel, at least

like when you think he didn’t notice you and is walking away he’ll activate the hunter ability ‘insight’, which reveals your location and points you out with a pillar of light

diluc will be annoyingly good at finding you this way

“did i scare you? i— i’m sorry. i’ll try not to repeat my actions.”

as a rebel, he’d probably be more hesitant than when being a hunter

multiple times throughout the game, he will mutter to himself that he is not suited for this role

however diluc always seemed to take the longest to find... you wondered how he pulled it off every time

he’s definitely aware of this game

venti, of all people, should know about windtrace, especially its origins...

so he’s actually the one who invited you to play with him

as a hunter he’d love the thrill and challenge of finding you

he would much prefer to be a rebel, but the hunter role was still fun to play as!

he’d take his sweet, sweet time as a hunter

not sprinting all over the place will give him more time to examine places

but if he gets as much as a glimpse of action, he’ll go running towards that

“heeeey! that’s not faaaair! i declare a rematch! if i win this one, you owe me... an apple! no, five apples!”

“deal!”

as a rebel he’ll be able to find hiding spots in places you didn’t even know existed within the map

he might use a little bit of his anemo powers to let him climb up to higher places... if needed

will climb trees a lot, so when you start looking in trees, he alternates his hiding style

and he’s a speedy little shit too— so speedy you can hear him leaving sonic behind

like if you manage to get his disguise out of commission and you spot him since he’s unable to hide, he’ll literally just speed away behind something then you lose track of him

like???? what??? how does he??????

he will taunt you

one time he was disguising and you got pretty close

when your back was turned, he whispered, “missed me~” then will use the rebel skill ‘transparency’ to just disappear and sprint away since he knew that your hunter abilities’ cooldown wasn’t done yet.

“let’s play again! hold on, let me write a song about this...”

you didn’t even get to finish asking him if he wanted to play windtrace with you and he already agreed

this man is a simp

he’ll never admit that, though. he has pride.

as a hunter, the games played with childe will be so nerve-racking and intense

while he’s hunting for you, it’s like his whole aura’s changed

he seemed far more intimidating and scary than usual

“[name]~ where are you~? i can tell i’m getting close...”

why was he taking this game so seriously????????

when playing with childe, you could truly feel like you were the prey and he was the predator

he’ll give you a false sense of security. he’ll make you think that you’re safe from his watchful gaze.

you used your ‘transparency’ ability to become invisible to him

he walks away and sprints out of sight. he probably saw movement ahead and went to track that

you started to calm down and your tense shoulders relaxed. phew, he was gone.

then, you heard a whisper behind you as someone grabbed your shoulders.

“boo~”

you jump out of shock and he starts laughing at the scare he gave you

“that was not funny. i’m gonna hate you forever for that one.”

“you can’t hold it against me for that long, and you and i are both aware of it.”

as a rebel he would be annoyingly good at it too

after him scaring you as a hunter you got somewhat paranoid. who says he won’t pull off the same kind of thing as a rebel?

you swore you saw a wooden crate move so you turned around to face it but then it was gone

childe’s light on his feet and barely makes a sound

you’d get more panicked as the timer ticked closer to the end of the game. you really wanted to win this one.

according to the ‘hunter’s intuition’ skill you were able to pinpoint the place where childe was at

you sprinted closer to the beam that gave away his location

you wandered around the area, trying to find where exactly the pillar of light was pointing you to... then the light disappeared

you saw a hay roll near a house which definitely wasn’t there last time you checked, so you took your chance

you were 5 metres away from it when you felt a certain someone pull you into a hug from the back.

at the same time, your timer rang, signifying the end of the match.

how does childe keep sneaking up behind you?

“hah, was it really that hard to find me, love?”

“HOW DID YOU DO THAT?”

“i’m just a natural at it, i guess. haha, don’t worry~ with enough practise, you might surpass my skill level!”
